Jeffrey Brown is returning to Batman and Robin and Howard with a new middle grade graphic novel - Batman and Robin and Howard: Summer Breakdown.

"Summer is in session, and that means all the neighborhood patrols, soccer games, and snacks Damian and Howard can handle. But things take an unexpected turn when a new group of heroes, known as the Hero Club, approaches the boys with an unusual offer—an invitation to help unmask the corporation planning to build a recycling factory in their favorite park. Together, they hope to recruit the help of Metropolis’s favorite reporter, Lois Lane.

As if that weren’t enough, Batman has been acting strangely and disappearing for stretches of time. And there are ninjas everywhere…What could possibly be going on?" (DC Comics)

Middle School Monday: Batman and Robin and Howard by Jeffrey Brown 

Robin loves being a crime fighter with his dad, Batman. But when Robin makes a bad decision while they’re out on patrol together, his life goes through some big changes very quickly. No more crime fighting. No more patrols. On top of that, he has to start over in a new school where he doesn’t know anyone.

At Gotham Metro Academy, Howard is one of the most popular kids in school. He’s a good student, he’s an athlete, and everybody knows him. Robin is instantly suspicious of this boy, and their rivalry begins. Meanwhile, Batman is working on a case by himself, although it turns out that he could use a helping hand …

This graphic novel is funny, cute, and thoughtful in its treatment of the relationship between the characters, but there’s also a mystery to solve. Can Gotham’s greatest detective solve it, with or without a sidekick to help him out?

Give this book to older kids and younger teens who love stories about frenemies, competition, teamwork, and reimagined superheroes!

No one is asking for a Robins SIX AU but im doing it anyways

Catherine of Aragon: Dick. I literally used “No Way” for his playlist. Plus he’s first.

Anne Boleyn: Tim. “Dont lose your head” is just him making fun of Jason.

Jane Seymour: Jason. Jaybin’s total loyalty to Bruce and how sad he was at his death.

Anne of Cleves: Steph. She was Robin for the shortest time and would totally sing “Get down.” Plus she is the only Robin to establish herself as a superhero without Bruce.

Catherine Howard: Damian. Tell me he wouldn’t say “I think we can all agree Im the ten amongst these threes”. “All you want to do” is about all the problems authority figures have caused in his life. Just replace the sex with them wanting him to fight/kill people.

I’m not sure who would make a good Catherine Parr so if anyone has ideas i’d love to hear them!

The Elseworlds Batman: Digital Justice one-shot was published with a pull date of April 1990. The computer generated comic, a novelty at the time, took place in the 21st century. In order to fight the Joker virus developed decades before by the Joker, James Gordon II (grandson of James Gordon) became the new Batman. He was aided by the Batcomp, Bobby Chang as the new Robin, and a robot version of Alfred. Gata, clone of Mayer Madame X, became the new Catwoman.
