Now A is injured, B is sick as a dog and somehow they're both trying to pull themselves together enough to take care of each other while they get out of this

Book store - The shorter character is standing on their tallest tiptoes, desperately trying to reach a book on the top shelf when the handsome taller character effortlessly reaches up and hands it to the shorter character who's glaring up at the taller one, "I didn't need your help" Short says pugnaciously, "I wanted to help" Tall grins feigning innocence.

restaurant - The cool, rich character is out with their family celebrating something at the new, prestigious, acclaimed restaurant where the pretty nerd from their school is assigned as their server, it's safe to say that server earned a generous tip that night.

School - The quiet outgoing character rushes down the hallway in fears of being late for class, they pull out their phone to double check the room number and as they do the collide into the dark, brooding character, "Watch where you're going" They say with a rude tone as they quickly pick up the books they dropped and walk off, but not before shooting a glare at the quiet one, "You forgot your book" quiet shouts out, when the brooding character ignores them. The quiet character makes it their mission to return the book to the Brooding character. (This can be for high school or college/uni)

Library - Character B is reading the book Character A desperately needs for school, "That's my book" A says moodily, "Can't see your name on it" A replies with a shit eating grin before continuing their sentence, "But I'd like to know your name' they add delicately

Cinema - Both A and B go to the cinema alone to watch some random movie neither had seen the prequel/s to, A spots B googling the plot of the first film, at some point they notice B staring over their shoulder, "Do you mind?" A asks softly, "So what happened in the first film?" B asks sounding genuinely confused.

"You say that, yet your flaws only define your strengths." Villain held their hand, squeezing it tightly. "You are strong. To me, you are worth everything and more."

Thinking about character A who just wants to Protect character B so much that they end up getting involved in something dangerous to keep them safe and end up getting so wrapped up in it that they forget why they did it in the first place... Hnng I swear I'm normal

Character A: How do I look?

Character B: Like your about to get the attention of every male in that room.

Character A: ....including you?

I keep seeing all these "Oh I love when Character A thinks they're unlovable but then Character B comes along and loves them the way they deserve to be loved!!"

But instead give me Character A who has never seen themself as unlovable

Give me Character A who loves the world with their whole heart, who finds joy in even the darkest of places, who happens to fall for people who think themselves unlovable

Give me Character A who teaches Character C, and D, and E, and F that they deserve to be loved

Give me Character A who is never loved by C, or D, or E, or F in return

Give me Character A who helps everyone else realize that they are capable of being loved, who has never once thought of themself as unlovable, realizing that they have never been cared for in the way they so deeply care for others

Give me Character A who starts to question what it means when the loveable people don't love them, and when the unloveable people pass them by too

Give me Character A who teaches Character G that G is not as unlovable as they think they are, before quietly confessing that Character A themself feels unlovable too, and yet still, Character G takes the love that A has shown them, and moves on without offering any of their own love in return

Give me Character A who retreats into themself, accepting that they will never be loved in the way they love other people, and stops giving so much of themself in return

And THEN give me Character B, who has never known Character A before they thought themself unlovable, love Character A without asking for anything in return, and let me watch Character A come alive with the strength of a thousand passions that had long since been laid dormant inside them from all the times they'd been turned away

Character A: randomly losing control of their magic and instead of finding an outlet to release it on they just let it flow over themselves, use to the pain

Character B: Noticing one night, suddenly very mad at Character A

Character A helping Character D stand: You can go if you want but I'm not leaving him!

Character B: Why not?! He's- !

Character A: -Because he... he's my brother.

Character C: *gasp* The plot thickens!

Character A: Not biologically.

Character C: The plot softens, but it's still pretty thick.

Thinking of Character A and B who have a troubled, dysfunctional relationship, who genuinely do care about each other's wellbeing and want to help each other but really struggle to gel well together.

Thinking about Character A relentlessly stuffing down all their feelings about every argument, every stressor, every infuriating thing B does/says, because taking care of them is more important than getting along, until something finally tips them over the edge and in a moment of blind rage they're a lot more like a whumper.

Thinking about afterward too. The first time these two abrasive personalities shrink, one shocked and scared, the other just as shocked at themself and ashamed. B knew they had their troubles but they didn't realize A hated them, much less that much. And A floundering to backpedal and fix it because they don't, they don't hate them, but is there really any coming back from what just happened?

Character A: So, how’d they take it when you told ‘em?

Character B: With stiff drink. Neat, double.

Ship Dynamic I WAnt

Character A: Realizes that their intense love for Character B is both unrequited but also just ignored and played off as just a casual relationship. Character A coming to some personal realizations that perhaps its not just their feelings that were unwanted, but also themselves as well. So they take that time to distance themselves, pulling away cracking that neatly defined loyalty in half, right from where they started.

Character B: Realizes several moments (years) too late that they miss Character A's crazy brand of loyalty (love), and now that they're being treated like a co-worker instead of whatever they used to be. They... don't know who they are anymore, and they have no idea how to handle it either. Before they know it, Char. A is gone, requesting a transfer to a different location or picking up a new job elsewhere without so much as a goodbye to them.

Character C: Knows exactly what Character B lost, and is in no hurry to help them get it back as they had been friends with Character A somewhat recently and gotten to know them in a way that's different than how Character B knew them. They know that they aren't better than Char. B and they know that Char. A gives their loyalty very sparingly, so they give theirs in return in the hopes that Char. A will notice. They don't have to, they will never have to, but they hope that they do.
