Danny is a Cryptid, but only to Superman

Superman has the ability to listen to a person's heartbeat and determine their true intentions right? I say that he subconsciously has relied on this ability for his entire life, so he never really developed the ability to read people normally.

Danny doesn't have a heartbeat.

So while everybody else is just fine with Danny, Clark is subconsciously even more unnerved by him than he is by Batman

(It doesn't help that Superman can see beyond the visible spectrum and can therefore see both Danny' human and ghost forms at once)

Danny to everybody else: A kind if skittish kid who is trying his best to be a Hero and is generally very open with his emotions

Danny to Superman in particular: An Eldritch Abomination who is unknowable in every way Batman wishes he could be

But, but, it's a Danny that like, is powerful. I don't know how powerful but we're talking emotionally intuned, powerful and graceful.

So he sees super cool heroes with super cool wings right? And he's like, 'Wow, I want that. Wait... I can haves that', and boom Danny with wings that don't really mean anything or add anything and seem almost purely cosmetic.

And then something or the other happens and just, ghost bones man. Ghost bones. Ectoplasm? Ghost bones. Would ghost feathers hurt? Like, picking them up? I'm getting off topic, Ghost Bones.

But I bet a Bloodborne-esque DP Au could be really interesting.

I mean, in Bloodborne humanity causes the Scourge/Plague by using the blood of a Great One for healing. People are becoming sicks and turning into beasts. Unseen eldritch gods crawl across the city, only becoming visible as you line your mind with Eyes. A Dream created by a Great One, Hunters who die yet are brought back through the Dream. A hunter trapped within, surrogate child of the Great One. The College tried to create their own Dream, creating a Nightmare in which they are trapped, brought to insanity by the knowledge they should not have.

Do you see where I am going with this? Do you see my vision?

I really love the idea of Sam and Tucker becoming something distinctly nonhuman as the show progresses.

Like they're the ones who hang out with Danny the most right? And Danny's the one who lives a floor above the portal to hell and is also half ghost.

They're the ones most exposed to ectoplasm besides Jazz and the Fenton parents, and of course, the half dead boii himself.

Imagine this trio of kids you see when you go to drop off your friend's kid at school as a favor. They shouldn't be any different from the hordes of children there,but they are. The second they walk in the temperature drops and it feels like icy lake water is flooding your veins and your breath mists like it's mid winter. You look around somewhat frantically as you try to figure out what's happening and your eyes land on this unassuming triad of kids.

And all of a sudden, they don't seem so unassuming anymore. Their eyes are either too close together or too far apart and their mouths too wide and their teeth too sharp, you cannot tell what it is about them but it scares you. You are afraid. You do not want to be here.

You do not want to look at them, so you turn your eyes to your friend's kid instead. He is chatting away happily with his friends, uncaring of the sudden cold that has gripped you. Should you really be leaving him here? With those other.....children? Will he really be safe here, with them? These thoughts plague you, nibbling away at your mind and the more you think about it, the more you want to pick him up and take him home, and go far far away from this place.

And then it stops. Suddenly, it is a warm summer day again, your blood is no longer ice water and your breath is not midwinter mist. The clamorous noises of children talking fills the air and your thoughts quiet down. You cannot see those.....children anywhere. They must've walked away.

Chapter 11 is now posted! I meant to do this last week, but was pretty sick (even beyond the chronic health stuff I've been dealing with).

Fic Summary: When Danny Fenton returns on the first day of spring after being kidnapped by the Fright Knight, something is off. His teeth are too sharp, his skin is too pale, and when he’s angry, the lights flicker as a harsh chill and the scent of ozone permeates the air as if heralding an approaching storm. There are moments when he is impossibly still, more statue than flesh, more ghost than human, and little by little everyone wonders if the child sitting in their midst is truly still Danny at all.

I've seen a lot of people writing Danny as a space ancient and Dan and Dani as ghosts with moon and sun cores, being sort of parts, versions of Danny and therefore weaker. Now, consider: Dan and Dani are both powerful ghosts with really cool cores and stuff but Danny is just some guy™

Dan, who came from an alternate timeline and is kind of from the future but also not, is Clockwork's apprentice and will eventually become an ancient of time. He probably only agreed to have some lessons with Clockwork to understand better what happened to him, but he enjoys his apprenticeship now.

Dani, with her love of travelling, loves seeing all the different places the world offers to her, and that includes space and different planets and maybe even parallel universes, and she accidentally ends up being an apprentice of the space ancient. For now she's probably a baby ancient of freedom or something like that, but she might become an ancient of space in the future.

We can also have something like Dan having a core of destruction or Dani being the Speed Force if you want it to be dcxdp, or any headcanon of yours about their cool powers.

And then there's Danny. And yeah, everyone knows that he's super powerful, but also he's just some guy.

It can go different routes. Does everyone know that Danny is just Danny? Or do they think that with siblings (well, technically a clone and an alternate version, but whatever) so powerful, he must be even stronger? Is Danny actually something terrifyingly eldritch and ancient and strong, almost a god, but he just doesn't know himself? Or is he just really some guy?

Now, because it's obvious that I have a dcxdp brainrot, have a regular "JL summons/meets a powerful ghost" but its Dan and Dani, and they keep mentioning their original/brother who won a fight against them at some point. The JL is very concerned about Dan and Dani's godlike powers, and they can't imagine what Danny is like. And then they meet him (in his human form), and it's just a young adult in casual clothes, very friendly and helpful, with no evident powers. Imagine the confusion. Imagine Dan and Dani, radiating power, in their eldritch ghost forms, admitting that fighting Danny for real is the dumbest thing to do and not even they would succeed... And then there's Danny is jeans and silly t-shirt, waving shyly.

It sounds haunt all those who hear it, not many are aware the Demon is crying for the babe stolen from from it years ago.

Or Damian is actually Elritch Danny's son, who Ra's decided to try and raise as a weapon.

Another de-aged Danny au, but he's with Dan & Ellie & Jazz as well.

Jason has like just arrived back to Gotham, caused chaos in the underbelly due to well, 8 heads in a duffle bag, and is just starting his takeover of Crime Alley. It's going good, great even! And then he busts some sort of gang or smuggling ring run by people in white suits and there's... holy shit why do these four toddlers have Lazarus eyes?!

Is that a lab?! And Lazarus waters?! Jason might be a bit mad but he's not an asshole, he's not going to just leave these kids here to the streets. He can't just take them to the Batclan either, and as much as he begrudgingly trusts Talia, he sure as fuck doesn't trust Ras. Who knows what he'd do to four... what are they, pit-kids?

Now he's juggling his whole revenge-thing, running a criminal empire, taking over Gotham's underbelly, and being a single dad. At least the goonion seems to be down for helping, seeing as he's making Crime Alley safer...? .... Fuck he needs some proper sleep

So I'm planning on writing a fic inspired by @Rare Pears or [AO3] Fox23's 'Breaking News: Westeros Lord Marries Stranger? What You Read Will Shock You!'

Instead of Sung Jinwoo, I'll be writing about an Eldrich AU Danny Phantom. But i think ill need a little help with the different POVs of Tywin, Kevin, and the Kids. Danny is going to be older than the show with no 'Phantom Planet' happening. He grew tired of living in the mortal world after the last explosion of a reaction he got from his parents when he revealed his secret so he, and his older sister, changed their last name and he moved semi-permanently to the Ghost Zone and ruled as their king while Jazz finished up her last few years of college. Of course, he still visits his sister and friends but other than the few gates allowing his subjects out he rarely visits otherwise. Vlad or Plasmius, a better version that tried a gentler approach at adopting Danny, adopted both siblings legally and became an even better parental figure to them than the Fenton's were. He and Clockwork train and advise Danny on his ever-growing list of powers and how to rule his ghostdom.

Now a decade or so in the future Danny is growing bored with the routine his life has been sticking to lately and in a fot of boredom travels thro one of the many random portals floating through the Zone. Landing in an unkown loacation in the land of Westeros he follows the 'pull' in his chest that leads him to a certain golden-haired lord.

I cant really decided when to drop them at. I don't want to copy @Rare Pears directly but i also want them in a time where Twyin is still young and Joanna is freshly dead or has been dead for no more then a year or two.
