Putting the blame of someone being an abuser on disorders is hurting both survivors of abuse and the people with those disorders.

If someone was abusive, that was on them. I say that as a survival of years of ongoing abuse. I wasn't abused because my dad is ""crazy"". Stop trying to get the blame off him fucker. Stop being ableist you fucking. Person. I am crazy, prideful, and I don't abuse people because of that. If I abuse people, that is on me, not on my disorders.

everyone looking over xavier’s and tyler’s incident can literally go to hell already because the truth is xavier was physicially assaulted by a bunch of hateful kids just for being different and people are greatly overlooking this. like !!! i can accept wednesday saying she would have done so much worse because she would, but she would have a proper reason --- revenge, for example, like at the shows beginning. but tyler and his friends were just moved by a hatred we still see in our society, wether its racism, sexism, transphobia, ableism, etc. if you like tyler (which is fine) but look over and don’t hold him accountable for what he did to xavier, let me tell you you’re not a human being because you’re turning your back to those considered different and for that considered bad. i feel so strongly about this because this is a (fictional) teen we’re talking about, and people act like it’s nothing, and these people who act like it’s nothing are the same people who let the social issues listed above and more happen because ‘it’s not that big of a deal’ IT IS. speaking up about injustices is very important, and i know this is just a show, but i think people aren’t getting the message behind it --- which is that xavier was jumped for something that still happens today.

again, this isn’t an attack towards people who like tyler. you cna like villains, morally gray characters or manipulated characters and still hold them accountable for their terrible actions when the time comes. thought i would share it with the world because oh does it get me mad.

Remember that titktok account that like a week ago made a story full on bashing bomika using slurs? Wouldn't you be surprised to find out that one of the biggest, if not the biggest, content creator in this fandom is actively supporting them and their edits, whereas a week ago they made an ig story with a screenshot of the previously mentioned story, saying it was wrong or some bs like that. (I think their username was Nikky or something like that)

Something tells me that a lot of people don't actually care about the problems in this fandom, and they bring them up when they need to clear their image (for example, when bomikas said that there wasn't any bapas coming forward and holding people accountable).

These two creators have large platforms for a relatively small fandom, so if people see that they follow each other, its a natural course of events that both plarforms will only grow bigger.

There has also been some sexualization of minors from both parts, and they have yet to apologise for it.

The one that said slurs never even actually apologized properly.

This happens when people don't get held accountable. They get away with problematic stuff.

Would someone mind being my writing buddy in terms of accountability? I'm trying to get back to writing daily, at least 100 words… and I'm also trying to use 4thewords to write more… faster? But I'm not getting it most days and I have never tried having someone to hold me accountable, maybe it's the way for me? I would also love to have more writing friends.

so you can be critical of others based on their observed behavior and statements - but NOT if they’re in the entertainment field, or a public figure?!?!!!

if I don’t like Depp’s misogyny or Rowlings anti-trans bullshit, I can decide not to support them with my money. I can broadcast what they do that I don’t like. Boom you’re done.

Do they care? no - but they do start to care when a LOT of people become aware of their behavior and opinions and decide collectively they don’t like it and won’t support it. 

If that’s cancel culture - keep it coming. Get informed and decide what you want to support - balancing the art with the human inside is often problematic and complex. Lots of historic artists who are no longer with us have VERY PROBLEMATIC personal histories. 

Being aware of this and dealing with it in your own way is a healthy thing.

There's some inherent tragic horror in the fact that Simon canonically doesn't remember much of what he did as Ice King, just 'dreamlike impressions'. I imagine he remembers people, certain significant moments but otherwise it's kind of a blur. Simon is over a thousand years old but he barely remembers any of it. Not to mention the non-magical human brain isn't built to contain so much memory so any attempts to recall could be dangerous for him.

Imagine how terrible it is to be told a story of yourself acting strange and manic and pathetic and terrible and there's no internal context for it. It may as well have happened to someone else in a dream but its the personality and actions most people know you by. Simon hears an outrageous story of Ice King and who knows if it's real or not? He barely knows who the man was.

we need to have the conversation of how charles fans treat his teammates without falling into the accusatory zone that we want to harm charles by having this conversation.

i mean charles no harm, but it is something that is getting extremely out of hand and it needs to be talked about. some charles fans have gotten too freely with being cruel to others drivers.

people used to call sebastian vettel a CORPSE. yes, scuderia ferrari screwed him. yes, everyone loves sebastian vettel again NOW (because he is far away from it and free from this hell) but back in 19/20? charles fans, mainly on twitter, made his life miserable. he couldn’t win. he couldn’t make anyone happy. if he won, he was taking something from charles that belonged to charles rightfully. it he lost, he was old and bad and should retire already and this sport wasn’t for him. he wasn’t a team player. he didn’t care about ferrari. he wanted to screw charles over.

if you just got here, if carlos is your first experience of how charles’ teammates are treated, let me tell you. everything that is being said about carlos has already been said about sebastian. and it is crazy for some people to understand that because everyone loves sebastian again, so you can’t even imagine what he went throught.

and i’m sorry for generalizing all of charles fans, im a charles fan, but it is something we need to stop and look at and talk about. how long will we let it go. how long until it starts to happen to lewis hamilton, of all people. how long until they dismiss his victories and say he is old and should give up of this sport so charles can win.

and you know one of the worst part? charles loves to race. every time he had to fight for it, he loved it. when he and carlos race in that track, he comes out with a big smile and talking about how he loves to race carlos. how this is real racing. he loves to fight for it. to prove himself. to have to sweat for it.

all while his fans try to make everyone just bow down their heads and give him things in a plate, already chewed and easy to get. as if he would like that. as if he can’t prove himself worth otherwise. as if he isn’t good enough to fight for it.

I don't even remember if I felt excited to write, but I felt excited about being able to finish.

This is my second day writing streak in 4thewords and today I was fighting glitches! I know I said I wasn't going to be lured by the event's quests, but I saw something I liked in the tokens store and to be able to buy it, I need to gain tokens first...

So, my enemies today. Three of those

The other two will be tomorrow's problem.

According to 4thewords, I wrote 729 words. The final word count was 615, and the proper scene was 593 long.

The thrilling detail is that those words were a WHOLE scene, the scene I wanted to write yesterday, the Part 3 of the 2nd Scene of Chapter 4. I have progressed and... that count as a weekly goal fulfilled? 🎉🎉🎉👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Will I continue tomorrow with the 3rd Scene of Chapter 4? Or will I advance in Linney's Campaign? You will have to stay connected to find out! 😉

sorry sometimes i think about mako and my heart hurts so much. this kid raised himself and his brother on the streets in homelessness and utter poverty from eight through fifteen, promptly after seeing the violent death of his mother and father. he turned to the triple threats because they couldn't survive as a pair of wretched kids without any adult support, and the environment forced him to turn into the exact character that killed his parents in a terrible twist of irony. and after sheer-fucking-luck hits and they aren't homeless anymore, their livelihood wavers on the outcome of what's a literally game to everyone but them; and after things are finally starting to look up and their team is going places and things just might be okay, his gradually stabilizing world unceremoniously expands and everything goes to shit.

and the city that chewed him up and spat him back out, ruined him as a child and took away his ability to stay afloat in a true sense of normalcy as an adult — when it's on the verge of destruction and falling to pieces before his eyes, he gives himself to save it with the full expectation to die. he went from the kid who didn't and couldn't care about anything outside of himself and his brother, to finding redemption for his younger self in his police work despite its injustice against him, to willingly sacrificing himself to a world that had never loved him.

he's a desperate people pleaser, socially and emotionally stunted for the adult he had to be as a kid, unable to navigate interpersonal relationships easily yet still trying his damned hardest. he's intensely and entirely devoted to the things that matter to him and for so long it was only him, bolin, and ensuring their survival — yet by the end, that devotion has expanded to protecting the rest of the world. he starts out entirely self-reliant and ends in trusting the people he cares about to know their own needs, to be able to take care of themselves, to be okay without him despite having spent so much of his life defined by his role in others' well-being.

just. what the fuck i'm such a big fan of this fictional guy and i'm unashamed about it at this point. also let him cry please (if you won't i'll do it i'll let him cry)
