i will never understand how people have the heart to hate Jason even after they found out that his Ambrosia tastes like fucking sawdust. Ambrosia being tasty is like one single happy thing a demigod can have despite their tragic lives, because it reminds them of the home they once had, but lost. And Jason doesn't even have that, he doesn't even have a home to lose in the first place.

Aroace Sonic pt 11

1. Behold! The line! When it comes to forms of physical affection Sonic is chill with a lot of stuff, but the last thing he ever wants to do is truly hurt his friends so you best beleive he gets serious in putting some things in the off-limits box for their sake. (And after that line is established he's back to teasing and being a little self-absorbed like nothing happened. Moving past it so they don't have time to feel embarrassed.)

2. Amy's begrudging about it, but he hit the nail on the head. She's a little embarrassed he read her so easily but she's not exactly surprised. (She is crushing on this guy for a reason and it's not just cause he's cool.)

3. Whether or not Sonic really kissed Rouge or if it was just the angle is still up for debate but that didn't matter here. What matters is Amy's reaction to thinking he did. He could have easily said that's not what happened but that wouldn't have addressed the real issue. So instead of exactly confirming or denying he goes right for the actual problem. He does this type of thing a lot, letting people assume certain things about him so he can get to the root of the issue. As he says, he's fine with being the bad guy sometimes. (Not that he's being bad here but y'know what I mean he's okay with conflict.)

Jason died because the audience voted for him to die. He wouldn't have died if DC writers and readers at the time weren't ageist. It's DC and the audience's fault.

"But, in universe..." It's the fucking clown's fault. Bruce let his child with his mother, was supportive of him meeting her and getting to know her. He left him to go deal with the dangerous situation on his own (Joker having nuclear weapons). Everything was out of his control, and he has none under the pen of writers that wanted his boy dead. Stop blaming him for Jason's death, instead of the actual murderer, he does it to himself enough already.

since it's been a while since the s1 finale, i need to remind y'all that celia did not push sam into the rift.

she meant to do it, she had planned to do it, but she didn't. sam fell in while trying to protect her from the archivist.

i'm not saying that celia was completely innocent, obviously she led sam up to this point so that she could sacrifice him. that is fucked up, regardless of her intentions.

i'm just pointing this out because i see a lot of people saying “celia pushed sam in” or “she sacrificed sam”, and i want to remind y'all of what actually happened.

if the archivist hadn't arrived at that point, sure, maybe celia would have pushed him into the rift. but there's also a chance that she may not have. she was clearly hesitating after reaching that point, and even sam noticed it.

The thing about being a Batman fan is that you learn about his conflicts with the other characters from his pov first. And what it has shown me is that Bruce was a jerk to Steph, but it wasn't because he didn't care about her, far from that. No, he is just terrible at relationships.

In Gotham Knights, after firing Stephanie and tricking her, so being a huge jerk, he admits to Alfred he is being like this because he is afraid Steph is doing all of this to impress him, that she cannot quit because of him. And you can think it's self-centered of him, but he is a grown man having a bunch of kids trying to follow him around, the conclusion that he is the bad example is logic.

After Jason's death, when this man sees kids looking up to him, he thinks the best course of actions is to be a bitch, so they will stop trying to follow his example. It has never worked, because the kids care deeply about people and are as stubborn as him, so they don't quit even if he is a bitch.

And I'm not saying this as a "Bruce was right to be a jerk", he wasn't. But, he wasn't a jerk because he didn't care about them. He was a jerk to Steph BECAUSE he cares about her. Hurting her feelings was better than having her getting killed. (And stop blaming him for her death instead of the guy that murdered her. He didn't want her to be a vigilante, but it's his fault she still did it and got killed??? Okay)

Literally just saw someone saying "Cass and Steph's relationship is so interesting because, to Bruce, Cass is the best Batgirl and Steph the worst", and like, no, Bruce was behind making Steph Batgirl to give her her confidence back after everything he has done, and the worst Batgirl is Helena to him, from who he took the mantle. Steph told Bruce he had no authority over taking Batgirl from her and he was proud. Steph became Batgirl because Bruce told Cass about himself being wrong and unfair to Steph, and asked her to give Batgirl to Steph when the time would come.

I understands that you are mad at Bruce for how he treated Steph, but no need to make shit up.
