(slight update in his design!) I've wanted to make a child of Casey and April for a long time, but I had no idea of ​​its design or gender until now.

Extra facts about him:

The "C" in his name is "Casey," which is his middle name.

He's a big fan of extreme sports (all of them). He also likes watching them on television, especially motocross, and he wants to try them all, but due to his lack of experience, he can only do parkour, base jumping, skating, or cycling for now.

Still, when he has the chance, he goes rafting, rappelling, or surfing when he travels.

Because of all the tricks and practices he does, he always ends up hurting himself, but he recovers very quickly (the tooth he lost was during one of his stunts).

He used to play regular sports, but because he's so intense, he often hurts others or ruins games. And because of this, he ends up being cut from teams or not even included.

He's Lita's best friend, they met when they were 4 years old, however they didn't have much of a connection at that age, since the Jones had to temporarily move for 10 years to another state for Abril's job (who is a reporter), after returning to New York, Jonathan and Lita reconnected and this time they became inseparable.

Both are a dynamic duo, calling themselves "the Ebony and Ivory team."

It's a relationship of mutual admiration: Lita admires Jon for his acrobatics and his passion for extreme sports and the joy they bring him, while Jon admires Lita for her passion for body art and loves watching her perform her elegant acrobatics. Let's say that Lita sees extreme sports as an aggressive art, while Jon sees body art as a very refined extreme game.

They both share a love of adrenaline; each experiences it in their own way. They even love street dancing and sometimes choreograph for fun.

Despite having different musical tastes, they've learned to appreciate each other in their own way. They both enjoy the combination of classical music and rock.

Unlike Lita, Jon loves pizza and Lou Jitsu movies. In fact, although he doesn't believe Leonardo's father was a Lou Jitsu fan, he'd love to meet him. He loves his movies and is almost a fanboy (almost).

They are very close, but let's just say they still don't understand their "true feelings."

His relationship with Leonardo and his brothers is basically the same as April's with Splinter; they get along very well.

He spends a lot of time with his dad in his free time, since April's job is somewhat demanding and she's almost always traveling. This worries her a lot, since her son is drifting away and the same thing will happen to him that happened to her with her parents.

His most common nicknames are: Jon, Jonny, JJ, and Ebony (only Lita can call him that, and only he can call her "Ivory").

His favorite piece of classical music is "Canon in D." He loves to hear that song when he needs to concentrate.

He knows Cassandra, but only met her a couple of times when he was a very young child. He doesn't consider her a grandmother, but rather a "cool aunt." He hasn't seen her again, as she is traveling around the world.

Neither he nor his parents know it yet, but his genes are slowly mutating, due to April and Casey's exposure to the Turtles' and other mutants' mutagen in their youth. This effect is passed on to Jonathan and is the cause of his superior strength and resistance to pain. Draxum is the only one who suspects this and theorizes that this will cause him to metamorphose in the near future and become a hybrid mutant. (This headcanon is based on Casey and April's daughter in the comic "The Last Ronin")

He's loosely inspired by Inosuke from Demon Slayer.

Es muy fanatico de los juegos extremos (de todos). Le gusta verlos tambien por television, especialmente el motocross y el quiere experimentarlos todos, pero por su poca experiencia, por ahora solo puede hacer parkour, salto base, patinaje o ciclismo.

Es el mejor amigo de Lita, se conocieron a los 4 años, sin embargo no tuvieron mucha conexion a esa edad, ya que los Jones tuvieron que mudarse temporalmente por 10 años a otro estado por el trabajo de Abril (quien es reportera), después de volver a nueva york, Jonathan y lita volvieron a reconectar y esta vez se volvieron inseparables.

Ambos son el duo dinamico, y se hacen llamar "el equipo Ebano y Marfil".

Es una relacion de admiracion mutua, Lita admira a jon por sus acrobacias y su pasion por los juegos extremos y la alegría que le producen estos, mientras que jon admira a lita por su pasion por el arte corporal y le encanta verla haciendo sus acrobacias elegantes. Digamos que Lita ve los juegos extremos como un arte agresivo, mientras que jon ve el arte corporal como un juego extremo muy refinado

Ambos comparten su gusto por la adrenalina, cada uno la vive a su modo e incluso a ambos les encanta el baile callejero, y suelen hacer coreografias por diversion a veces.

A pesar de ambos tener gustos musicales diferentes, aprednieron a apreciarlos a su manera. A ambos les gusta la convinacion de la musica clasica y el rock.

A diferencia de Lita, Jon ama la pizza y le encantan las peliculas de lou jitsu. De echo, aunque el tanpoco le cree a leonardo que su padre era lou jitsu, le hace ilusion si pudiera conocerlo. Adora sus peliculas y es casi un fanboy (casi)

Son muy unidos, pero digamos que aun no comprenden sus "verdaderos sentimientos"

Su relación con leonardo y con sus hermanos es basicamente la misma que tenía abril con splinter, se llevan muy bien.

Pasa mucho tiempo con su papa en sus tiempos libres, ya que el trabajo de abril es algo demandante y casi siempre esta de viaje. Esto le precoupa mucho a ella, ya que su hijo se esta alejando y le pasará lo mismo que a ella le paso con sus padres

Sus apodos más comunes son: Jon, Jonny, JJ, y ebano (solo Lita puede llamarlo así, y solo el puede llamarla "marfil")

Su pieza favorita de musica clasica es "Canon in D". Le encanta oir esa cancion cuando necesita concentrarse

Ni el ni sus padres lo saben aun, pero sus genes estan siendo mutados poco a poco, esto debido a la exposicion de Abril y Casey en su juventud al mutageno de las tortugas y otros mutantes. Este efecto se pasó a Jonathan y esta es la causa de su fuerza superior y resistencia al dolor, Draxum es el unico que sospecha sobre esto, y teoriza que esto le provoque una metamorfosis en el futuro cercano y se vuelva un mutante hibrido. (Este headcanon esta basado en la hija de Casey y Abril en el comic "The last ronin")

Y/n is a old college friend of OC, she goes to their house while the trio is on the childcare center.

Y/n tries to comfort her, trying to get her to relax, but says "you should care a bit more about yourself" making Pinky blow up on them, "I can't!!! I just can't! It's fucking Abril and I had to take Geno to 20 different hospitals! And his condition is NOT GETTING BETTER!!! I can't worry about myself! I have a son that has no emotions! And other that has the glitch sickness! You think that I can "worry about myself when-... When..."

She bawls her eyes out while hugging her friend, stress getting the better of her.

"I'm sorry" Y/n says while hugging her, "It isn't my place, I shouldn't have said anything about it" they keep hugging each other for a long time.

When she's ready she let's go.

They stay quiet for a while, but Y/n takes her face on their hands "look at me" they say, determined

She does, eye contact intense but not aggressive.

"You are doing a great job, those kids love you to bits and pieces, just from the pictures you have been sending me these last months, I know it has been hard, and that you have been mostly by yourself with this, so let me help? Please?" They almost beg

Pinky relentles and nods "alright..."

Y/n smiles and they hug each other again, "Let a pear of extra hands help you out, okay?"

"I swear to God! If you have a pear in your hand, I'm going to be so pissed!"

There was silence, and then slowly the sound of something being put back on the fruit bowl.

The two of them burst out laughing.

When it's time to take the three of the boys home, they are meet with both Pinky and Y/n to pick them up.

Fresh steps up and shake their hand "I'm Fresh! Those are my brothers, Geno and Error"

"Nice to meet you Fresh, Error, Geno, your Mah has told me a lot about you three, it's nice to finally meet you all" they smile gently while shaking his hand and waves to Error and Geno, already knowing about Error's issue with touching and Geno being cautious with strangers.

"Ma hasn't told us anything about you" Fresh says tilting his head.

Y/n squints their eyes and looks back at Pinky "really?"

Pinky picks Error up while avoiding eye contact "Ha Ha! Boys! This is my old college friend, Y/n, they will be staying with us for a while, please be kind to them" she says while walking back to the car.

Y/n follows behind all of them, and watches as the boys get on the back, they sit on the front with Pinky.

"Also, Y/n is like you Fresh!"

"What!?" Geno and Error asks, stars on Geno's eyes and Error looks horrified.

"what?" Fresh asks quietly

"They don't look like it, do they?" Pinky asks and chuckles at their reaction.

"So you don't feel anything?" Geno questions

"Of course I do, I feel pain, and sometimes I feel relaxed, but no emotions really" Y/n says calmly

"So your a freak like Fresh"

"ERROR!" Pinky says horrified

Y/n puts their hand on Pinky's shoulder and squeeze's it, they turn their head to Error "That was rude, and that hurt me"

"Didn't you just said you didn't feel emotions?" He asks squinting his eyes.

"I can still get hurt and feel pain, by running my pinky on the table full force..."

Geno giggles at that.

"Or by someone saying mean things to me" Error looks away "It is hard to understand, and I heard that you two fight frequently, so I understand that-"

"How can you understand it?? You can't feel feelings"

Geno and Pinky try to reprehend him, but Y/n stops them.

"I may not be able to feel what you feel, but I have studied feelings and human interaction to a deep level, so that I always know how you expect me to react and how it's appropriate to do it, I also have graduated in Psychology, so that I can help other people"

The car parks on the driveway "So even when I *can't* feel it, I can understand it, and know why it's happening" they say kindly looking at Error "If any of you have questions, I would love to answer them, okay?"

The three of them nod at them.

"Okay! Who wants cake?"

Happy Saturday lovely Fandom. Zero Chenford in this one but it is very good ep overall regardless. They’ve got good separate moments. Still a good ep for them as characters. This will probably be way way shorter than usual ha. We haven’t had this small of content since the Fed eps in S4 which were meh af ha Let us get started.

5x15 The Con

We start out with Lucy and Aaron doing some leg work for Angela's OP on Elijah. This entire ep centers around it and everyone's part in it. I do love how Aaron fits in with both Lucy and Tim. Fun to see them work this OP together to take down Elijah. Lucy moving like a skilled bad ass planting the bug on his car. Aaron being the decoy pretending to be a clueless bystander. I adore her ‘Tell your dog I said Hi’ Feels like a Melissa shirt and I love that. I recall her wearing it in 4x03 as well. Always enjoy seeing pieces of Melissa appear on the show. Anyways fun to see her being a BAMF in the field. They work well together.

19 minutes into an episode to see my boy isn’t acceptable LOL Mmm but what a shot it is though my god. Metro Tim in his tight shirt, can see his badge near his hip, and his gun also hanging out on display. Mmm yummy. That duty belt is doing thing to me clearly haha *ahem* Back to the SL though... They’ve captured Elijah’s top lieutenants. Trying to give the illusion Abril has captured them. Trying to get Elijah to spook for their OP tonight.

I do love the crossed arms. One of my favs Tim positions. Those sexy biceps will be the death of me. But then so will this entire ensemble of his. Then we get a nice shot of him staring into interrogation as Garza leaves. ‘Metro Police’ Stretched deliciously across his back. Man is fine af. Oozes sex just standing there.

Aaron and Lucy are still following Elijah around. Listening into his phone calls. Seeing if their spooking is working. It would appear that it is. He is in a panic since his Lieutenants have been snatched and now his lawyer. It is fun to watch Lucy in her element in the field. Her and Aaron make a solid pairing to watch. We needed this since her and Tim can’t always be together on job now for most part.

Elijah calls for Angela. Earlier in the cold open she offered him a deal. To help him take out Abril’s heavy hitters in exchange for her family’s safety. He scoffed at her offer and passed. Now he’s in a panic and wants the deal. Angela telling Elijah her hitters are at a house in North Hollywood. That he can take them out tonight. It’s a smart trap to set for him and he’s taking the bait.

Celina is involved in this OP as well. Nice to see all hands on deck for this. She is being used as decoy for Elijah’s guys to see. Make them look like they’re distracted and weak before they move in. Mmmm love Tim leaning against that door frame. Sexy beast of a man. Just waiting with his team to spring into action. I love watching Tim in the field. See how his mind works. Always have because he's just so damn good at what he does. Watching him in full tactical gear doing same thing? *fans self* I'll take Metro Tim in the field all damn day.

I also love watching Lucy in field as well. They’re both in their element in this OP. It’s really fun to watch them do what they do best. They're both so good at their jobs and this episode is a good reflection of that. I'm just so proud watching Lucy in these scenes with Aaron. Getting to see Lucy command her portion of the OP. Directing Aaron on what to do. Making calls for them on the fly like above. I know Tim would be so very impressed just watching her handle herself like this. I know I am.

The tension leading up to Elijah getting up to the house is immense. They can’t arrest him unless he is physically on the premises. Not only that but has break into the house with their illegals firearms. If they do anything before then it won't stick. It'll look like more retaliation from Angela and nothing more. Tim and his team waiting inside for him to enter guns at the ready. Yum.

Lucy and Aaron coming in as backup. They’re entering the perimeter when Aaron kicks a bottle…loudly ….It ruins the entire OP. Elijah bails on the attack. They head back to their cars. They spent the entire day setting this up and it's ruined in an instant because Aaron wasn't looking where he was going. Oof.

The angry glare Lucy gives Aaron. Phew Lord. Man if looks could kill.... This is my favorite part of the episode. She learned that disapproving glare from her man. Aaron is feeling the weight of it as he follows her. Deflated and knowing he is the one who blew this OP. It's a rough night to be Aaron.

Also i’m just continuously proud of the bad ass Lucy's become. Running her own side of this OP like a boss. Aaron following her without question. It’s why he’s feeling crushed she is disappointed in him. That look said more than she could ever yell at him in this moment. LOVING her hair in a pony tail for this OP too BTW. Fantastic.

Conoce a Seok Nari. Nacida un 12 de abril. 24 años. Una artista visual y pintora quien, gracias a su pasión y determinación, lucha con valor por el futuro que desea forjar.

a. La última hija de la familia Seok, la segunda mujer en el linaje. Aunque afortunada de cierta manera, desde que tiene memoria, la vida no fue tan simple como aprendió a aparentar. Para nadie es un secreto que su madre tiene una ligera preferencia hacia ella, demostrándoselo a manera de gestos muy mínimos de afecto, como una palmada en la espalda o una palabra ambigua de reconocimiento; sin embargo, su historia con el patriarca dista de aquel favoritismo. Para su abuelo, Nari no es más que un mal karma, una mancha en el historial, la indeseada nieta rebelde que fue mimada más de la cuenta, que duerme sobre los laureles que el apellido y la fortuna traen consigo. Creciendo en medio de la protección que su hermana mayor le ofrecía y las constantes disputas con el anciano, un profundo odio comenzó a crecer en su interior, dirigido a lo que Seok Hyun significa y representa, a todo lo que su apatía y crueldad crearon en el núcleo familiar.

b. Aunque una broma recurrente es pretender que no es como sus hermanos, Nari creció bajo las mismas exigencias. Una niña de calificaciones ejemplares (aunque no de conducta), quien buscaba destacar en todo lo que se proponía. Atlética y buena para los deportes, sabe que de haber querido dedicarse a la música o al teatro lo habría logrado; pero su vocación siempre estuvo en esas hojas de papel que garabateaba y cuyos inocentes dibujos cobraban vida de manera mágica ante sus ojos. Volcó todos sus esfuerzos en este arte, y en la pintura, año tras año haciendo gala de grandes habilidades en cada clase de dibujo a la que asistía, desarrollándose como una gran artista a futuro. Competitiva, orgullosa, atrevida, pero sumamente apasionada con todo lo que se propone, su personalidad floreció en la de una muchacha tenaz y de armas tomar, lo suficientemente valiente para enfrentar a todo y a todos. Tal vez eso sí se lo puede agradecer a su familia.

c. Graduada como artista plástica y visual, su objetivo es derribar todo aquello que se interponga en su camino hacia convertirse en una diseñadora de personajes de videojuegos. Especialmente, el propio legado familiar. Con una meta muy clara, hará lo que sea necesario para desvincularse de la empresa que su abuelo fundó, un lugar donde sabe que nunca será bien recibida ni valorada, un lugar que detesta pues carga con el peso de aquello que más aborrece y no está en sus planes brindarle el fruto de su esfuerzo a aquello que su odiado abuelo construyó.

Datos adicionales:

a. Una mariposa social que podrá charlar por horas con la primera persona que se le cruce en frente, sin embargo, sus secretos más íntimos solo una persona los conoce. Su mejor amiga, la única que se ha mantenido con ella desde siempre. Nari 'adoptó' a una pequeña y tímida niña como una casualidad del destino; y nunca más se apartó de ella. Compartiendo momentos desde el jardín de infantes y hasta la universidad, su vida no sería la misma sin el amor de su vida, como suele llamarla. Tiene un pésimo historial de conducta académica, pues nunca dudó ni un segundo en morder, golpear o patear a todos los niños y niñas que molestaban a su mejor amiga.

b. Sus hermanos podrán no creerle, pero realmente los quiere con todo el corazón. Dejando de lado los notables favoritismos, desde que era una niña se esforzó por acercarse a cada uno de ellos de distintas maneras (funcionales o no). A pesar de las peleas, de las discusiones y de las mordidas que también les daba, de las puertas que se cerraban en signo de protesta, nunca dejó de buscarlos. Incluso ahora, sin importar cuán molesta la consideren, siempre se mantiene cerca como un amable recordatorio de que está ahí para ellos, cuando sea que la necesiten.

c. Nari es una muy buena conductora y lo disfruta, siempre y cuando no sea dentro de la ciudad. Siendo de mecha corta, con una paciencia cercana a cero, siempre está aplastando el claxon y despotricando en contra de los inútiles conductores que se atraviesan en su camino.

d. Una otaku y gamer de huesos amarillos. Nadie pensaría que la vanidosa chica que sale a la calle siempre bien vestida y perfumada, puede pasar días enteros encerrada en su cuarto, entre sus mantas desordenadas y comiendo ramen instantáneo mientras rescata un nuevo juego de principio a fin, sin pestañear.

e. Sufre de un miedo a la oscuridad que no cae en la nictofobia (según ella), pero que sí le hace pasar tragos amargos de vez en cuando. Esto se remonta a la vez que, castigada sin cenar, su abuelo la encerró en su estudio como solía hacerlo siempre, para que 'reflexionara' sobre sus actos. Sin embargo, tras él abandonar el lugar y cerrar la puerta con llave, un apagón a nivel general en la ciudad provocó que la desesperación de la penumbra y el encierro hicieran llorar a una niña asustada que pedía a gritos la sacaran de ahí. El anciano, al enterarse de eso, no dudó en usarlo en su contra durante próximos castigos, acrecentando la sensación de pánico en Nari.

Uneasy is the Head (a fanfic)

Specifically, a Marvel fanfic.

Synopsis:

Wanda is on the run AGAIN. Following the destruction at Kamar-Taj and Mount Wundagore, she is doing her best to just remain alive in the safety of anonymity. That is until an old enemy walks back into her life with a proposition.

Wanda knew what it was like to be on the run; if it wasn’t one form of government, it was another.  In many ways, this was nothing new to The Scarlet Witch, but the game had admittedly gotten significantly more difficult.  The longer she lived, the more enemies she seemed to amass and so with each year, her very existence became more and more precarious.  Where at first she was simply running from the corrupt politicians controlling Sokovia, now she had the added attention of the US government and the Masters of the Mystics Arts.  Of course, the latter was under the assumption that she was dead, and she wanted to keep it that way.  If they found out she had survived the collapse at Mount Wundagore, they would certainly make her death a reality.  And, truthfully, Wanda couldn’t really blame them.  

She wasn’t entirely sure what this new part of her life would look like; she’d burned so many bridges and had very few places to go.  It would have been easy for her to give into despair, and many times she did.  More than once, the pain had overtaken her again and she’d just laid down in the middle of the street, weeping uncontrollably.  Luckily, for her, Barcelona was a massive city with more displaced people than anywhere else in Europe.  When people saw a random woman lying in the streets, especially in the back alleys, they paid little attention.  Someone might attempt to rob her, but they only got as far as putting their hands on her before some strange magic came over them and they shuddered in silent pain.  The smart ones let go, but the idiots held on and soon joined Wanda on the ground.  Unlike The Scarlet Witch, however, they never got up again.  

After months of just wandering across Spain and Portugal, living off the charity of others and only occasionally stealing, Wanda had finally collected enough money to secure a tiny flat in the darkest corner of Barcelona.  It was a quiet, anonymous existence that included a part-time job as a waitress (where she went by the name Isla), trying desperately to learn Spanish as quickly as possible, and dyeing her infamous red hair a mousy brown every two weeks or so.  Once in a while Wanda would stick her neck out in order to break up a few human trafficking rings or surreptitiously send the abusive husband of her manager into a shark tank at Aquàrium Barcelona where he promptly drowned.  

Wanda had worried that Abril would be sad over the loss of her husband, as many victims of abusive relationships and Stockholm syndrome occasionally are, but time and a hefty life insurance policy in Daniel’s name proved to be good medicine for an aching heart.  Seeing her friend walk around with a newfound lease on life was almost enough to make Wanda forget…about everything.  Perhaps it was best if she did just forget; it wouldn’t have been the first time she’d attempted to leave Wanda Maximoff behind in favor of someone else: someone more normal and less complicated.  

But even if she had genuinely wanted to let it all go, the Darkhold’s stain across her hands were a constant reminder of who she was and what she had done.  She wore flesh-colored gloves whenever she was out in public and told elaborate stories about how she’d been burned in a car accident.  The gloves made her job at the diner difficult at times, but Abril and the rest of the staff had always been so courteous and accommodating towards “Isla” and her fictitious injury.  They were all so kind, and none of them had no idea what kind of monster she was.  

The only souvenir of her past life, save the blackened fingers, was a single photo: a precious relic that she only took out in her darkest of hours.  She hadn’t the foggiest idea of how, after everything, it had stayed both in one piece and in her possession, but she was grateful nonetheless.  While living on the street, Wanda had treated it like a holy grail, the single flame that kept her going merely because it reminded her of a simpler time when she had been truly happy.  Between The Blip, the Hex, and the Darkhold, it was sometimes difficult to sort out what was real and what had been magic, but the photo grounded her in many ways.  That had been real.  

It was taken in Prague: one of the many locations Steve had moved her to during Team Captain America ’s time as fugitives.  But the location was hardly the important aspect of the photo.  Yes, Charles Bridge was clearly featured in the background, but the focus was the bright-eyed and beaming Wanda with an arm wrapped around the torso of a tall, blonde-haired man who, in turn, had his willowy arm draped across her shoulder.  She was smiling winningly at the camera, held by a random stranger the pair had flagged down, but Vision’s gaze was entirely on Wanda.  It was one of those small moments one sees in movies: Vision sneaking an adoring look at the woman he loved.  To Wanda, they had just been posing beside some pretty bridge, but the man beside her had no interest in architecture.  The most beautiful thing in the world was Wanda, and he was unable to look away.  

Today, she needed to see the picture.  The night before had been plagued with the same old terrible nightmares and specters, and Wanda’s mental health necessitated a trip down memory lane.  She pulled open the drawer on her nightstand and dug a bit until she found the worn manilla envelope that served as the photo’s home.  She sighed with relief as she took in the image and ran a finger adoringly over Vision’s face.  It wasn’t just the fact that the print featured him but also that Wanda could clearly see the unaltered happiness in herself.  It all seemed like several lifetimes ago.  

This lifetime, however, would not wait.  She glanced at the clock on the wall and knew she had to go; Isla had work and Wanda had to be put aside for now.

ABOUT

Abi’s father, Jimmy Batista, was a hot-shot police detective in his time. He was killed in the line of duty and Abi swore to follow in his footsteps. The Batista name remains well-respected for good reason, and Abi does everything she can to live up to it. 

She had a violent outburst in the police academy during training, wounding a peer and getting her placed into mandatory anger management. She’s taken a liking to therapy despite initial reservations, and continues to attend a weekly session to this day. 

She’s after a promotion from police detective to gang unit, in the hopes that she can be given more cases directly tied to Los Santos & The Sons. For now, she’s often put on petty crimes and does all the digging she can to make it stick to one of the gangs. Sure, it's monotonous and draining, but if the small stuff can be linked to the big bads in town, that’s a start to taking them down. 

Her methods are becoming more unorthodox as she falls deeper into her obsession with her job, and though she started at just toeing the line of professionalism, she’s begun to cross it more and more often in the pursuit of justice.

She keeps people at arms length (or farther) as best she can, convinced that surface-level interactions are the best defense against biases and distractions. She can be friendly, but there's not many people she would truly call a friend.

COWORKERS: The more the merrier! She might not be all sunshine and rainbows, but her coworkers are typically people she likes, at least a little, just on principle.

Our theme for April is CROSSROADS.

It was chosen by our Wroclaw chapter in Poland, illustrated by Joanna Gniady, and is presented by Adobe. 

We all reach turning points in life that change the course of our destiny. Should you break up or give your relationship another chance? Accept that job offer or strike out on your own? 

What’s the best way to go? Continue straight ahead? Or turn left? When you’re faced with a crucial decision, there’s no map that shows where the consequences lead. And sometimes, you only recognize a crossroads when you see it in the rearview mirror. 

No wonder that in folklore and mythology, crossroads represent a gateway between our mortal coil and the supernatural realm. An in-between place of transition, where worlds collide, and anything can happen next. 

Legend has it that the greatest blues guitarist in the world, Robert Johnson, met the devil at the crossroads of two dirt roads at midnight and struck a bargain to trade his everlasting soul for masterful skill. But there was no deal with the devil. In reality, he practiced like hell.

So, how do you decide which way to go next? Just pick what feels right. Because there’s no wrong choice. Only different journeys to where you’re meant to be.

Fue elegido por nuestro capítulo de Wroclaw (Polonia), ilustrado por Joanna Gniady y presentado por Adobe. 

Todos llegamos a puntos de inflexión en la vida que cambian el curso de nuestro destino. ¿Deberías romper con tu relación o darle otra oportunidad? ¿Aceptar esa oferta de trabajo o emprender tu propio negocio?

¿Cuál es el mejor camino a seguir? ¿Continuar derecho o girar a la izquierda? Cuando te enfrentas a una decisión trascendental, no hay ningún mapa que muestre adónde conducen las consecuencias y a veces, sólo reconoces una encrucijada cuando la ves por el retrovisor. 

No es de extrañar que en el folclore y la mitología, las encrucijadas representen una puerta entre nuestro mundo mortal y el mundo sobrenatural. Un lugar intermedio de transición, donde los mundos chocan y cualquier cosa puede ocurrir. 

Cuenta la leyenda que el mejor guitarrista de blues del mundo, Robert Johnson, conoció el diablo en la encrucijada de dos caminos de tierra a la medianoche y llegó a un acuerdo para cambiar su alma eterna por una habilidad extraordinaria, pero al final no hubo trato con el diablo y en realidad, practicó como un demonio.

 Entonces, ¿cómo decidir qué camino tomar? Sólo tienes que elegir lo que se siente bien, porque no hay elección equivocada, sólo diferentes caminos hacia donde estás destinado a estar.
