But the more time you spend together the more he realises that you're really not that bad- you're really just more of the loveable asshole type

You were all staying at Juicy's house for a large sleepover-party, currently located in the living room. Prior to the playful argument, you'd all been watching a dumb action movie, which got paused because you all agreed that it was too boring and wanted to talk instead. The girls, minus Gabby, had left to go pick up some pizza and wings, considering none of you had eaten dinner yet, and it was already seven in the evening.

Gabby laughs, hearing another cruel insult escape your mouth. "When are the girls getting back with the pizza?"

Narrator looks down at his watch, "Hopefully within the next 15 minutes before they strangle each other"

"This is the stupidest thing we've ever argued over" Josh chuckles, "That includes that time where you tried to gaslight me into thinking you didn't call me DubDaddy"

Things my family said after I forced them to watch the Bad Batch Clone Wars arc with me because it was my birthday:

This was the first time ever that my mom watched Bad Batch and did not ask me who Wrecker was or why I have a crush on him lmao

My mom: "Why do they age like that?" - "They white-washed the clones." - "Oh."

A clone would pop up on the screen and my sister would go, "Crosshair?" or like,, try and get their names right and then get all happy when I said she was correct

Tech spoke and my mom burst out laughing and looked right at me - "He seems very familiar."

"Crosshair has HAIR?!?" <- one of my sisters who has seen these episodes repeatedly because I always watch them

My brother asked if Rex was going through a breakup and if that's why he's blonde - then he asked "Oh, he's Anakin's bro though, right?" And when I confirmed it he was he went, "Oh, nvm. That makes sense." Which ???? Hello??

He ALSO asked if it was canon that Hunter was very hairy??? Because in his mind,, if he was really hairy that's why he has good senses - like how the hairs in our ear pick up sound or something??? And then said if he made fanart of Hunter he would make him very hairy. Which,, I completely approve of and want to see more of.

Every time one of the Bad Batch would do or say something one of my siblings (out of the four I have) would say something along the lines of - "Autism." Or "Oh my god they're so autistic." - They said this the most with Tech and Wrecker though, but Crosshair was a close third.

When Crosshair did that little shot with putting the Firepuncher on Tech's shoulder my sister was impressed - "Oh, that was smooth."

And then everyone made fun of Hunter for taking off on the grappling hook, firing at the Poletec and missing (My mom: "Yeah, shoot at it so it drops you a hundred feet from the ground, that's real smart"), and then fucking falling off of it

When Crosshair was goading Rex about Echo my mom was like "Why did he come if he's going to act like this?" And I told her, "He's a little bitch." And she burst out laughing.

Then when Rex, Crosshair, and Wrecker were fighting my dad was like "😧 so violent!"

My mom didn't believe Rex in thinking Echo was alive - she kept going, "I don't know..." and then they opened the stasis chamber and she was like "😮 omg he was right."

They all collectively felt bad for Echo after seeing him for the first time - "Oh, THAT'S why he looks like that 😦. That's inhumane." <- my sister who would make fun of him every time he saw him

He'd turn around or something and show off all the holes and they would flinch and cringe :(

Then my brother and sister started talking about accessorizing him and putting flowers and stuff in those holes :( which I thought was sweet

And my mom kept yelling at Tech to "UNPLUG HIM ALREADY!!!!"

My mom kept saying that someone needed to get Echo some pants - "Mom, I don't think they brought pants on the mission." - "So? Anakin has like three layers! He can give him some clothes!"

She also kept saying "me duele la cabeza" every time Echo touched his head

My sister called Hunter a "femboy" after he did his little head roll he does after taking out those droids - which,, uh,, okay?? sure I guess???

And my brother called either Crosshair or Hunter gay at one point for like,, no reason I mean,, obvious reasons but I cannot remember when or why he said that

They kept asking why they didn't get shot at all and kept giving the droids shit about being useless

My mom about Tech being like 🤓☝🏽: "Why does he do that? Does the finger do anything?? Does it get the information out faster??" - My brother: "It's his antenna." - My mom: *bursts out laughing*

every time Mace Windu was on the screen they would complain about his design - "Why'd they make him look like E.T?" <- my dad

They did not like Admiral Trench at all - thought he was gross

They thought Wrecker and Crosshair one upping each other was funny

Also also - My Mom: "Crosshair can shoot again?" <- she watched s3 with me (without seeing any prior bad batch episodes) - "Yeah, he doesn't have trauma yet." - "Oh."

"It must be so fun to be a part of a group with zero brain cells." <- my brother about the Bad Batch

It was funny because they'd ask questions of like "how" and "why" literally seconds before the characters themselves would ask the questions and then go like "THAT'S WHAT I'M SAYING ANAKIN!!"

There was probably more shit they said but that's all I remember off the top of my head.

Also here are some things I noticed that I hadn't before:

Crosshair is a fucking DIVA. Holy shit?? It's so weird to go from s3 Crosshair to TCW s7 Crosshair because they feel like two different people. For some reason he seemed really young to me? Like I know that the Bad Batch are all technically supposed to be the same age and Crosshair is just the "youngest" but for some reason he REALLY seems like the youngest in TCW. Like to the point where he seems ACTUALLY a few years younger than the rest of them. Like if all of them are supposed to be 26(ish) he felt like he was 24 or something because he was being a little teenage brat like,, holy shit.

Like you have Hunter kinda acting like his interpreter and explaining his behavior and whatnot and then you have Wrecker who is always looking out for him and ready to square up and fight for him whenever Crosshair pushes buttons, and it just really makes it seem like Crosshair is truly the youngest. And not even like in terms of "coming out the tube last" or whatever, but like,, in a regular family dynamic he seemed a few years younger than the rest of them.

Idk if that makes sense,, but like,, he was acting like a teenage brat or something and it made him seem so much younger than he is??

After Rex gives the speech to the Poletec to convince them to join the fight, Crosshair goes "UGH" and Dee Bradley Baker put so much sass and disgust into it - I was fucking dying,, holy shit.

Also my mom and brother pointed out that Wrecker flips over the gunship with ONE hand and I wasn't able to function for a good while. Max.exe stopped working because I realized they were RIGHT and oh my god oh my god oh my god-

ALSO!! ECHO HAD EARS THIS ENTIRE TIME AND I THINK WE JUST COLLECTIVELY FORGOT??

I mean,, I say "we" but maybe it was just me - but like,, I remember when Echo took off his helmet in s3 when he was infiltrating Tantiss and everyone collectively lost their shit

BUT LIKE!! AFTER THEY RESCUE HIM AND HE HAS HIS LITTLE JUMPSUIT THINGY HE HAS HIS EARS!!

Idk - I think my family thought I was crazy because all of a sudden I started to shout "HE'S HAD EARS THIS WHOLE TIME?!?" in the middle of an episode

hello again! this ask was very interesting to respond to, so let's jump straight into it! (Spoiler: very angsty)

Premise

it's a bit tricky tracking down exactly when the Italy Brothers last saw eachother. However, I might have reached a conclusion in affirming that the year 800 is the date when these two got "officially" separated. Basically, that year is when Northen italy was incorporated in the Holy Roman Empire (HRE), while the South was being raided and conquered by the Saracens, the Byzantine Empire and the Longobards. It did not look good for neither of them during that time, but feli proooobablyyy got it better than his bro.

Moreover, taking in account that both Roma and Feli where alive in the last years of the Roman Empire, that would make them around 300 years old. Not terribly young, but I envision them as preteens during that period, since they didn't have any autonomy over their territories for many years (not being independent is something that affects nation growth in my canon lol. although nations can grow up from other means even if under foreign influence).

Romano

If Romano ever got locked in a room with a roughly 10 year old Felice, I think he would immediately hug him and react very emotionally. I'm not gonna lie, Romano wasn't very fond of his brother even before they got separated by foreign powers. He was the golden child, the favorite, the one that (unintentionally) outshined him in every way possible and one of the roots of his inferiority complex.

So seeing this small kid, scared just like him at that time, at the mercy of this new powerful nation that is HRE and so on. if no one was in the room with them well... he would be eaten by remorse. Romano would hug him, tell him that everything would turn alright for him, and that he would not endure all the hardships that Romano otherwise had to sustain.

Felice

When Feli comes face to face with an angry and also scared 12 year old Romano, he would initially be at a loss. This kid absolutely hates the man that it is in front of him, so the initial approach would be...awkward, but only initially!

Feli would talk gentle words to his "big" brother, seeing an otherwise wounded kid rather than the mean big brother he once thought he was. Feli would then comfort little Romano, even going as far to excuse himself for not sticking with him till the end. And, after a lot of calming down little Roma (he was spewing obscenities as soon as he saw his "little" grown up bro), he would hug him. Even if the child is the kid is throwing punches at his chest, he's going to hug him anyways. Feli recognizes that he needs it.

so yeah! that's about it. in both scenarios there's a lot of feels and words that they would probably never say to eachother in today's age LMAO. I guess if they ever saw the kid versions of themselves/the opposites, the young appearance would make them instantly melt in an emotional puddle. these guys have trauma~

Isaac and Hetty have their hands up thing, Pete’s warning him.  THOR RUNS to the other side of the hall - WHY?  And Flower goes up against the wall.  POOR ALBERTA.  She goes to the door as well and ends up walked through.  

I do have some questions about Isaac putting his hands up like he does - is it like to protect his eyes from something?  Does walking through a ghost cause residue?  Would putting his hands up protect him from getting walked through himself? (Probably not).  So WHY does he do this?  

Also, Thor’s RUN - mentioned earlier is hilarious.  

That’s 5 ghosts that have been walked through so far.  Interesting.

What’s even more interesting is that Trevor and Alberta seem to shake it off faster than Sass and Isaac.  (Thor’s was in a ‘dream’ like thing, so doesn’t really count).  

Given that Sass (500 years) and saac (250 years) have been ghosts for SO LONG - do we think getting walked through is WORSE for them due to Age?

It would make sense given Trevor (22 Years) and Alberta (95 years) easy shaking of it off.  Could age of death contribute?  It would be rather curious if it did.

ANYWAY - Poor Sam.

I've been annoying my friends and family with this for weeks now but I absolutely can't overstate how much of a culture shock it is to work in a place in which your work is appreciated and your needs are being respected.

Like one of my bosses kept reiterating this week (because he got to learn a lot about my trauma and insecurities recently) how I'm a genuinely good employee and how I (the fucking adhd clown who was always being beat up for it in one way or the other) am already, after barely two months, one of the the more reliable employees to him, because he knows I do my job and I do it properly without him having to worry. Like??? Me??? R E L I A B L E?!?!?!

And the next thing that had me like. Honestly lowkey surprised (?) today was kinda like.

Yesterday my district manager came to our store and like. I have pretty bad history with her, so I ended up getting an anxiety attack. Being at the checkout (and even if I wasn't let's be real) I opted to just suck it up and try to ignore it.

So this morning he immediately noticed I was off and I ended up telling him and the first thing he asked was if I told the others and asked them to let me go to the back for a few minutes. Which listen I realize is not a big deal, or at least it shouldn't be, but it was always ever just encouraged in theory.

So obviously I told him no and that I was just kind of doing my best to work through it and stuff because I didn't want to slow down the other and "it's not a big deal, because I was just a bit shaky and had trouble focusing/breathing".

And he just. Said that it doesn't matter if I think it's a big deal - I wasn't feeling well, and I deserve the chance to step away and calm down.

I even started to play it down more because like. I thought that he was thinking I was like. Idk sitting in the corner half dead but he...didn't change his mind.

Anyway he then insisted that next time this happens, I don't just try to ignore and take the break I need to deal with that because "There's always enough time for that, no matter how busy it is."

Straight up one of my colleagues that hypes me up the most keeps telling people she knows or even other colleagues and me how:

Technically, only one of them was there - unless, DID SHE RUN INTO MORE GHOSTS??? DID she see them in the living room when she was running around looking for Jay???

Awww, Jay’s like “there’s a logical explanation for this” - I wonder if he looked for more information after the first time Sam saw the ghosts - did he talk to the doctor so that he could be assuring to Sam the next time that she saw them?

LMAO - Jay!  Mocking her is not the answer.  Although I would have likely done the same thing.

POOR SAM!  Her eyes - she’s like OMG OMG OMG.  This POOR woman - why didn’t they just have ONE person go and talk to her?

And why wouldn’t that person be Trevor since he was the first ghost seen?  Also, it’s interesting that he and Sam already have a connection given her power comes directly from his power almost.

I wonder if that impacts their friendship at all.

This is interesting.  The ghosts behind Isaac seem largely unaffected by Isaac’s states and they’re doing some weird bounce - I still don’t get why it’s Isaac speaking just because he’s the ‘captain’?

Also, Flower looks very admiringly at Isaac, while Hetty shows her support and Thor/Alberta look very like ‘meh’.  It’s so interesting.  You’d think the group would be split in who wants Sam to stay versus who doesn’t, but it’s not.  

It’s interesting that despite the fact that NEITHER of them has spoken - she introduces Flower and Thor FIRST by what they were like in life.  It’s also interesting that these two are a pairing later on since they are literally opposites - even in their introduction. 

Although it could be because they're easy to identify.

ISAAC VS HAMILTON BEGINS.

I know people have complained that Isaac SHOULD know about Hamilton, but I think it makes sense that he doesn’t.  I don’t think they would’ve seen / heard anything about him unless there were history buffs in the house , plus look at the three who SHOULD know about Hamilton’s faces.

Pete looks uncertain, Alberta looks curious and Trevor looks concerned. 

This has to be the first time it’s EVER come up, which isn’t that weird, but like it IS interesting.  Isaac’s literally a piece of history, he’s probably told them all sorts of history speeches, you’d think they would talk about that stuff instead of another Cod lecture.  

ANYWAY, the war has begun again.

POOR TREVOR.  This poor boy gives up his pants to save his friend and it’s the ONLY THING that Sam uses to introduce him to Jay?  So UNFAIR.  No wonder he's always upset when it comes up.

Also, WHAT was Jay thinking when she said this?  I mean, did he think it was half pantless like he is or did he think he was naked?  WHAT WAS JAY IMAGINING - I need to know!

Okay - half of me thinks Trevor only does this to deflect over the fact that he’s uncomfortable about his lack of pants.  The other half is laughing that he’s SO BAD at flirting - what are you doing, BRO???

Also, LMAO at the background faces - Isaac’s still processing about Hamilton, Pete’s like ‘uh, dudeeeee’, Sass is back there thinking ‘why am I keeping his secret’ and Alberta’s like. - you’re so weird - change the subject!  Turn to my murder.

OMG - ALBERTA IS THE FIRST TO INTRODUCE HERSELF.

LMAO - 5 ghosts have spoken to Sam at this point and ONLY ONE OF THEM INTRODUCES THEMSELVES??? Guys, at least try Alberta’s way.

I really adore Trevor’s little look at Alberta as she changes the subject to her murder - he’s like “Go for it Girl - get what you want”.  So proud.

Meanwhile - Isaac is STILL processing.

Jay is trying to be logical here and the ghosts are not helping at all. 

The way he says this suggests Sam’s been to the doctor since seeing the ghosts. Which is interesting because WHY would you go back to the mansion if you thought it was haunted, visual disturbances aside? I wouldn't be able to sleep or heal at all.

Isaac finally finished processing!  Apparently, he’s got some issues which take precedent over figuring out how to get rid of Sam - LOL - you’ve been LEADING The crusade and now, you’re like “Wait, I need to know about Hamilton”.

OMG - Sam’s like “Damn it, I pissed off a ghost by equating him to a famous guy.”

Again, Pete’s like ‘this is interesting’, Trevor’s like ‘WTF is going on here with Isaac - I’ve never seen him like this’, and Alberta’s like ‘OMG, get over it.’

Interesting that Sass doesn’t have a reaction. Sass is just here for the drama.

Side note - Tumblr is stupid so I'm missing the "Did that little twerp become famous?" And Sam's covering her face.

OMG this part is SO FUNNY.  These three (and Flower) KNOW about Hamilton, and they’ve NEVER SAID ANYTHING.

Pete - he’s FREAKING OUT about this DUDE and you’re like ‘Let’s make it worse’. 

Trevor’s like - Oh yeah, he was!

And Alberta does too.  You can see that Trevor and Alberta are like ‘oh yeah - fun’.  I like their similar reactions with their hands and faces - they spend too much time together.

Well, until Isaac goes “WHAT!”

They find it funny - I do, too.  

Poor Sam - “They’re so real.”

Which naturally, they are.  It’s just unfortunate for her.
