Hes such a baby girl to me

He'd be such a funny addition to s3. Like if Valtor gave Tritannus power over the mutant army so now Tritannus is distracting everyone by attacking them from the sea would that be fucked up or what?

I'm taking Nereus's design for him bc Nereus doesn't get to exist anymore bc he's useless. Tritannus deserves bubble gum bitch hair

All that would change is that Valtor is pulling a Eraklyon and Solaria on Andros because he's trying to hide the fact that it's him while he reamasses his power

The Ocean Gates:

This one actually makes the earlier seasons retroactively make more sense

How did Aisha get from Magix to Andros though the ocean? The Ocean Gates

These things absolutely exist in canon and if you disagree your wrong <3

Tbh I think each element deserves its own version of the Ocean Gates, but they do different things. So water is teleportation, but each other one would do something different, but I can't think of anything rn

The Selkies:

The way Pixies seem to exist is the same way the Selkies seem to exist sooo

I am absolutely boosting the powers of the Selkies and Pixies so their actually useful guardians for the things there protecting

Thinking of her and Helia being childhood friends is so fucking funny, especially because if there wasn't a retcon she'd be like 5 years younger than him

Helia is no longer allowed to babysit, this does not mean hes stopped being a bad influence, he simply has less chances to be one

The Infinite Ocean

It's extremely cool to imagine around the Magic Dimension are these other dimensions of pure elemental constructs

Like like each dragon, aether, fire, air, water, and earth each made their own dimensions right?? But the middle of those dimensions all ended up touching, which created the perfect balanced dimension, the Magical Dimension

So the Infinite Ocean is a ACTUALLY endless body of water filled to the brink with life

Eventually the dimensions gained borders so each god could take a nap in their own home

I think it would be cool if you had to go to these different dimensions to gain the elemental forms. You get the water form in the water dimension, go figure

And it would also make them so much more....idk how to explain it, but in this version it would be a boon from the gods themselves from their own personal dimensions which makes them feel more exclusive and powerful

I don't imagine each dragon personally handing out the transformation, but you have to do a specific thing. Also this would be the natural home of the Selkies, because they're water magic. The pixies are Aether btw

One of the elemental forms!

Them being inherently godly really adds to my whole "nymphix is a bad thing" vibe that I enjoy so much

The forms themselves don't cause that much difference to the person while detransformed, but when transformed there interpretation of whatever the element is on a new plane

I kinda want them to fuck with the user a bit so the Winx try to avoid getting them while the Trix run head long into them, giving a very self destruction for the sake of power vibe

Harmonix:

The name is cool and I'm so obsessed with making it better

The intentional shedding of massive power of the elemental forms to stay in harmony with the laws of the dimension instead of taking all that power for yourself and shedding your humanity for power that changes the fundamental way you interact with the world. Yada yada Nymphix faries can't detransform, yada yada they no longer can meaningfully enjoy or connect to human concepts, Ive said this stuff before

It's basically the good version of Nymphix that doesn't turn you into a cosmic horror ala Dr Manhattan style but is much weaker as a trade off

Macy

She's a literal babi

The Winx say magic returned to earth and more people are going to unlock magic bc of this but we never see that??? Macy is now a magi of flowers

She's one of the first discovered and Mitzi is big mad about it

It's weird that the second sun is this powerful light magic but it only affects Solaria. So now the sun works like the pillar of light!!!

No sun of Solaria, means light magic gets fucked up. Domino being attacked made fire magic unstable, but not completely fucked (wonder why, also this Bloom girl's magic is p weird). So all planet defining magical items affect the entire dimension

You know how Solaria has the second sun of Solaria? And how s3 implied that every planet has a magical item that controls most of the magic on the planet??? Yeah!

2. The Winx Club Girls (2004-Present Day)

It all started with a girl named, Bloom! She then attends Alfea (the collage for fairies) in Magix where she meets her dormmates, Flora (Fairy of Nature), Musa (Fairy of Music), and Techna (Fairy of Technology) as well as Stella (of course) and they've been together since their first day of school. While learning to be full-fledged fairies, they all learn new things about each other and work through their problems while also having multiple battles with the most feared witches from Cloud Tower, The Trix. Their friendship only grows stronger when they find a friend in Layla who is later named, Aisha (Fairy of Waves and Princess of Andros) and meet The Pixies where each of the girls have a bonded pixie! Though, they're not perfect. Stella may get under the girl's skin at times, Techna struggles with human emotions, Flora struggles to come out of her shell and is kind of a mess with her plants, Musa deals with the aftermath of losing her mother along with having relationship issues, Aisha struggles with the concept of making new friends and feeling like she belongs, and Bloom can have a fiery temper. Though, they managed to work trough their problems to help each other leading to them gaining their Charmix and Enchantix. It's their teamwork that also contributes to their Convergence spells to help stop evil threats attacking their school and the magical realm. Even after graduating, they become assistant teachers and work to bring magic back to Earth with the help of a new Winx girl, Roxy (Fairy of Animals). These girls are the ultimate club! The Winx Club!

3. MLP: Friendship is Magic's The Mane Six (2010-2019)

In the magical land of Equestria, the almighty alicorn Princess Celestia assigns her top student (yet incredibly introverted), Twilight Sparkle and her faithful assistant (also baby dragon), Spike to stay in a town called, Ponyville in order for her to make friends. On the day of The Summer Sun Celebration, Princess Celestia is captured by the return of Nightmare Moon and Twilight rushes in to save her in search of The Elements of Harmony, but she isn't alone. She is assisted by Ponyville's residents Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie. During their journey, Twilight enjoys their company and starts to see their capability as well as learning to trust them and during their face-off with Nightmare Moon, she sees the truth of The Elements of Harmony! Applejack holds the power of Honesty, Fluttershy holds the power of Kindness, Rarity holds the power of Generosity, Pinkie Pie holds the power of Laughter, Rainbow Dash holds the power of Loyalty, and Twilight holds the power of Magic! They use the elements to defeat Nightmare Moon and revert her into Celestia's long lost sister, Princess Luna. Ever since then, this group has been inseparable! Throughout their adventures, they have always kept their elemental bond as well as their friendship despite their flaws. Such as Pinkie not giving proper boundaries, Applejack being too eager to please, Fluttershy needing to be more assertive, Rarity having her "drama queen" antics, Rainbow Dash being too cocky, and Twilight needing everything to go according to plan and going "Twily-nanas" as her brother puts it. They have a track record of reforming villains and becoming idolized by all of Equestria after every victory. They've really grown into being heroes, to teachers at their School of Friendship, to becoming honorary protectors. Twilight used to wonder what friendship could be, and now she has five true true friends who she practically considers family!

A total of eight kids were here, not counting Sebek. Henry attended this class alongside Billy, Seon, Florina, a girl named Mina, and two twin boys named Zack and Cale. When she arrived Seon had immediately changed his spot and sat down beside her without sparing her a single glance. "Yes, Seon"Nilo smiled nodding to the boy. "Elemental Spirits are like pixies or the fairies from Fairy Hollow, the difference is that Elemental Spirit's have bug wings of different variety, Dragon Spirits have dragonfly wings, Nature spirits have wasp wings, Ice spirits have fly wings"Seon answers. "Good job!"Nilo praised nodding. "Just as Seon said, each Spirit Fairy is different, nature spirits are green and have wasp wings, dragon spirits are purple and have dragonfly wings"Nilo smiled.

"Only one being is known to be able to summon Spirit Fairies and use their powers"Nilo went on. "The Spirit Saintess, the first Saintess was Queen Virda, she made a contract with a Spirit who's element is still currently unknown"Billy explains. "Yes, and only an ancestor of the queen would inherit the ability, what else does a Spirit Saintess have?"Nilo nodded. "Oh a Spirit Guardian!"Mina gasps. "A Spirit Guardian is summoned when the Spirit Saintess turns ten and accomplishes something most wouldn't be able to do"Cale adds on, Mina huffing. "Yes, Queen Virda's Spirit Guardian was a Holy Dragon named Lumion, they were great friends and partners, but one day Lumion asked The Lord of the Light Spirits to turn him human because he had fallen for Queen Virda, The Lord accepted his wish and Lumion was able to be with his love, they had a daughter named Theema but she vanished one day after she turned seventeen"Nilo nodded.

"It was a horrible loss and Lumion blamed his Lord for it, he ended up paying the price for attacking The Lord...Queen Virda was forced to watch her husband die that day, held down by Lumion's three elder siblings...then she too was killed but not before cursing The Lord to never find another Spirit Saintess ever again"Nilo went on, unrolling his scroll showing them a picture of the queen. "The queen removed the power, so her ancestors never received them"Florina gasped Sebek looking alarmed. "Yes, and due to that the Spirit Faries are becoming restless, wanting to meet a new Spirit Saintess and feel at ease"Nilo sighed. "H-How long has it been since then?"Livia asks. "15,568 years"Nilo responds. "Woah, she wasn't playing around with them about her husband!"Mina gasped. Nilo chuckled, looking amused. "She most definitely wasn't but without her and Lumion's deaths, none of the kingdoms today would have been established, we would've had one ruler who controlled all of Twisted Wonderland"Nilo smiled.

"But Council Head Nilo, weren't the Draconia Family a kingdom she refused to control?"Sebek asks. "Yes, she didn't trust dragons even though her husband was one"Nilo nods. He looked at the clouds then clapped twice. The kids raised their hands clapping twice back, letting him know he had their attention. "Homework for tonight, draw a Spirit Fairy of your choosing and show it off tomorrow afternoon"Nilo smiled. "Dismissed!" Livia walked beside Sebek, holding his hand. "That was crazy, who knew there used to be a queen who controlled all but the Draconia Family, that's...insane"Sebek says looking down at her. She giggled at the amazement, joy and pride that waved off the male, knowing he must've enjoyed the lesson as much as she did. Speaking of lesson, if Chrissy is Malleus' magicked daughter she is supposed to attend these classes as well so she could become Crowned Princess of the land. Yet, Chrissy hadn't even bothered to show up.

Maleficia stood with Mayhem, the two talking in hushed tones. "GRAN GRAN!!!" Maleficia's eyes lit up as she turned, holding her arms out, Livia leaping up into her embrace, the two laughing. "Gran Gran, Malleus says he has a surprise for me!"Livia beamed. "Well go see and tell me what it is afterwards!"Queen Maleficia chuckled setting her down. "I will!"Livia beamed. She ran down the hallway, wondering what the gift could be. She already told Malleus the gift she wanted to receive but she'd have to wait a few years to get it. Talon came into view, talking excitedly with Malleus in front of a building she's never seen on the grounds before. "Malleus!"Livia calls. "Hey Livia, here's your surprise"Malleus greets picking her up. He beckoned to the building, the small child looking at it curiously. "Your very own library, Talon asked your parents what books you liked and we sent soldiers to other kingdoms to retrieve extra copies of the books"Malleus smiled.

He waved his hand, the doors swinging open allowing them to step inside. She stared in amazement, her eyes sparkling at all the books inside. "Can Chrissy join me here!"Livia beamed looking up at him. Talon looked nervously at the silent prince, Livia feeling a wave of irritation coming from the silent male. "You don't have to be nice to that pest"Malleus suddenly says. "She's not a pest, would Malleus treat me that way if I was magicked!"Livia protests. He stared down at her then sighed deeply, chuckling. "No I would not"Malleus smiled. She giggled, beaming up at him. She didn't know why Malleus disliked Chrissy, but if she could get him to love and cherish her that would be a great accomplishment for her personally. Malleus smiled, carrying her back towards the castle, Livia hugging a fairy tale book to her chest, looking excited. Maids bustled around the castle, already preparing for Livia's upcoming birthday party. "Will Chrissy get a party"Livia asks.

"No, and she already received a gift"Malleus responds. "What'd you get her"Livia beamed. "A reason to stay out of my way for the rest of her sorry life"Malleus responds. Livia's eyes widened in alarm, wondering just how deep his hatred for a child he's never met before ran. The angry glint in his eyes, the small puffs of smoke managing to escape from the corner of his lips should've said it all, but his anger seemed much worse. She looked down, wondering just how she was gonna get them both together. "Gran Gran!"Livia beamed reaching for the queen. Maleficia chuckled, taking her from Malleus. "Nilo is waiting for you"Queen Maleficia informs. Malleus walked away, Talon following him. Maleficia carried her down the hallway, Livia beaming. "Anyone specific you wanna invite?"Queen Maleficia asks. "I wanna invite my classmates...well everyone except Henry, he's mean"Livia responds.

Maleficia chuckled, carrying her back to the garden so she could read her book. She set Livia down, and sat at the tea table Malleus had set up. "Hey." Livia looked up, Seon standing there. "Hey-"Livia greets. "SEON!!" A white haired girl rushed over, and grabbed the males hand. "Layla"Seon mutters. "I told you not to get close to Lilia's Monster! She's evil, she'll mind control you!"Layla cried. The queens eyes shot up, staring Layla down as the girl cried. "I don't want my future husband to become a slave to our homes darkness! It would be absolutely tragic"Layla sobbed rubbing her eyes. "D-Don't cry"Seon mutters startled. Livia blinked, then felt hands underneath her pits, lifting her up. UNIT REVIEW: BORA/BAZIBASTRA

stats are at level 50 because i have decided that using stats at level 60 was kinda cringe of me, y'all ain't spending 15 dark eyes on catman lmao

bazibastra, henceforth referred to as bora (due to first form being named bora and i hate typing out bazibastra), is an alien nuker and part of the nature's guardians elemental pixies uber banner, commonly referred to as elemental pixies or just pixies. this is one of the most straightforwardly good units in the game.

bora's 8k dps (66.9k dph) and 85.6k health outside of its target trait are decent enough to survive in mixed stages, and against aliens, these quadruple and quintuple respectively to 33341.08 dps (267840 dph) and 427950 health. it also has 100% barrier breaker, as is consistent across all elemental pixies (as of 13.0) and warp immune, both to make it viable against starred aliens. its three knockbacks are standard, giving it decent survivability without sacrificing too much durability, and 390 range allows it to outrange a solid amount of aliens while being able to tank anything it can't outrange. speed and cost are roughly average, with cost being slightly lower than the typical uber but about standard for a pixie, and cooldown is decently low, giving it very solid mobility.

bora, as with most pixies, is at its best in into the future (itf) and cats of the cosmos (cotc). both itf's common aliens (hyppoh, maawth, helmut krabbe, lemurr, mistress celeboodle) and major threats (cyberhorn, imperator sael, ursamajor, nimoy bore, bun bun symbiote, all three moon bosses) will either get outranged or tanked by bora and then murdered. cotc's aliens tend to have warp or barrier, both of which bora nullifies, and the threatening itf enemies brought back to cotc continue to get crushed. cotc's high pushing power and reliance on CC to stall big threats don't exactly help bora, but its low cooldown helps a lot with getting another out after the first goes down, and the only real issue with bora in cotc is the rare non-alien threat and restrictions that deny you the use of bora.

bora's relevance continues into UL and advent stages, where its high stats make it more useful in a less CC-based meta. while alien threats are much rarer than they were in the alien-based story chapters (obviously), starred aliens tend to have much higher stats than the average enemy (increased to counteract cotc treasures), and the high stat fast pushers of star peng and mesocosmocyclone can be countered by bora fairly easily, as long as you meatshield them enough. the occasional overbuffed cyberhorn or nimoy bore will go through the same. advent bosses such as wanwan, queen b, and puffsley are made much easier by bora, and some advent stages (such as wahwah revenge and zonel) have use for bora despite the boss not being an alien, due to problematic alien peons. ZL consistently bringing back advents may lead to bora seeing increased use in endgame as well.

bora is arguably the best elemental pixie. in a set where only two or three ubers can be considered "bad" (aer, bliza, tekachi (the new pixie that's fat and turns into a thwomp, posted a video of him here)), this is pretty damn impressive. the only three units that can challenge this title are lumina, the legend rare, gravi, an incredible tank with great waving ability, and voli, a 100% freeze anti-alien with solid uptime and low cooldown. thing's busted

tl;dr: great anti-alien nuker, good compatibility, will carry through itf and cotc, keeps working even into lategame

Despite their jobless status, pixies continue to capture the imagination of people around the world. Their fantastical and mysterious nature adds a touch of magic to our mundane lives. Perhaps, their lack of a conventional job is a part of their charm, reminding us that not everything needs to have a purpose. Sometimes, just existing and bringing joy to those around us is enough.

Xiao: String of Fate [Soulmate AU] HCs

The red string of fate is a concept that those who are connected by a red string are destined to meet and fall in love. Regardless of place, time, or circumstances. The red string can never be broken unless one connected passes away.

Alatus

For the past few days, Alatus would wake up early and scale the mountains of his small village to pick Qingxin flowers. The morning dew would still be on the petals before the sun came by and evaporated everything. It became a bit of a small joke that the elders used to make, that a earth spirit would appear at the break of dawn to place the flowers for harvest. Not that Alatus minded, he was grateful that whatever celestial spirt was out there made sure to replace the ones he took. Remembering to always offer a prayer of thanks and a small offering, you would scold him if he didn’t.

He quickly scaled and vaulted over the wooden beam and slipped into your room. He winced at the sound of his shoes landing on the wooden floor but you didn’t seem to stir. You were still sleeping peacefully as Alatus took the fresh flowers to add to the ones already in your small vase beside you. They were your favourite flower after all. He reminisces about when you were both children and how you would drag him to mountains and tell him all about how at the very top there was his beautiful white flower. But you were both too young with small limbs to even attempt to climb it, plus if you somehow managed to do it, it would take too long and both your parents would be worried. It never seemed to deter you as you reasoned that a wind spirit would help your journey. Come to think of it, you always put a lot of faith into celestial beings. But he goes along with your plan, never one to contain your desire to explore.

He’s suddenly snapped out of his memories when he hears a soft knock on the door. It quietly opens to reveal your mother. She gives him a small smile as he looked a bit guilty for getting caught breaking in before waving him over to hand him something. You left him with a small bamboo package that you had wanted to give on his birthday. On top of the bamboo, you had wrote a short but warming message that you were worried about him always running off outside and that he might catch a cold. He smiled softly at your words, ingraining the way your ink brush flowed down the bamboo sticks into his mind. He offer’s a small thanks as she gives him a comforting hug. Whether for him or her he doesn’t know and she leaves.

He carefully untied the brown string keeping the package together to unravel a blue, white, and gold sleeve. He silently marveled at how beautiful it was and held it up to the light, it almost seemed to shine with subtle highlights. He has no idea how you managed to create this, he had never even seen the dye of red or gold used in clothing before. Perhaps the celestial beings decided to bless you for your prayers and devotion. He gives one small squeeze of your hand as he ties the sleeve to his arm and he slips out through the same window he came from. He looks up at the mountain’s he’s scaled before setting on the tallest one. One so tall the elders say that it could reach celestia.

As he scales the mountain he can feel a taint tug on his thumb, before it slowly disappears. He closes his eyes for a brief moment, breathes in deeply, and continues upwards.

The Golden-Winged King

One of his first adepti duties was to investigate the place he once knew as his home. There had been a dream eating demon that had been spreading curses onto unsuspecting youths. Putting them into eternal sleep before they bodies finally succumbed and they passed away. It was horrible and Alatus swore he would do everything in his power to make the dream demon suffer. Unfortunely, seeing as this was his first time venturing out back into the moral world and still recovering from his trials, he was assigned to work with a senior anemo adepti. One who was well-versed in using polearms that could “show him the ropes” as mortals would say.

This other adepti was too loud and erratic for his tastes compared to the calm and peaceful friend he once knew. Always getting side-tracked and flying around Alatus like some overgrown pixie. Never taking anything serious even though the both of you were tasked to destroy evil. But he held his tongue since this was his senior, gripping his sleeve when he was especially annoyed. This only seemed to spur the other anemo adepti further and inquire about the sleeve. Naturally, Alatus was hostile and guarded. That was first time he ever raised his voice which instead of becoming offended or angry, the other adepti was impressed.

From then on the other adepti seemed to want to interact with Alatus at any given moment. From checking in with him on his latest mission or if he heard about how the delicious flowers tasted. Who even ate flowers? Either way, every instance of communication was brushed aside, he would always make some weak excuse that he needed to train. Which lead to the other challenging him. The both of you were the same element so it would be a good time to see who was the best at wielding it. Overtime he began to look forward to your weekly spars. Even finding a bit of joy out of them. Ever since he had climbed up the mountain it had been constant training and hardships but when it came to these spars. It was fun. Alatus began to open his heart a tiny bit, let’s himself relax and fall into amusement when he see’s his partner’s face pop over him as they hovered over him.

He even began to feel his locked up heart start to beat a bit faster whenever he saw his partner perk up and wave at him. Whenever you threw your arm around him he never brushed you off like he used to, just basked in your presence as you rambled about how this stuck up bird was running everyone through the ground with her demands. It was amusing for fresh adepti’s to see you both interact. The ever stoic and aloof Alatus that taught them through strict rules loosen up immediately and smile whenever your head popped up to scold him for his training methods.

It was fun. Until the day he became possessed and killed you with your own weapon.

Guardian Yaksha

Guizhong was concerned. Ever since Rex Lapis had saved the poor adepti man from his possession, he had locked himself in. He still fulfilled his duties with alarming accuracy but it seemed that he completely on auto-pilot. He could stand in the pouring rain without realizing it or he always seemed to be in such a rush. Asking to do anything that needed to be done rather than relax. He was going to end up running through his long years at this rate. She brought it up to Rex Lapis and his fellow Yaksha but none of them had the time or want to check in on him. It was a time of war after all. Except one.

You watch him stand in the rain. Any attempts from you or Guizhong to ask if he was better always failed and you didn’t want to push. But this was already past the point of simple concern. So the next time you saw him relapse you walked over and embraced him. He usually carried himself as stiff as possible but you swore you were holding one of Rex Lapis’s pillars. You braced yourself to get thrown off or at the very least be questioned but none of those things happened. He just stood there and to be honest, you weren’t sure if that was even more concerning. You both didn’t say anything even when the rain stopped until Rex Lapis had summoned you both over.

You and him never developed a close friendship but he never seemed to brush you away whenever you sat beside him ever since you hugged him in the rain. A bare acknowledgement on good days but that was alright. Just sitting in each other’s presence when the war wanted to be quiet somedays was nice. On harder days when fighting took too much of a toll on your body you would lean your head on his shoulder. He never shrugged you off or seemed bothered by it, in fact, it almost seemed as if he leaned back against you. You both never spoke during these moments, just a silent understanding looming over you both.

Then when Morax announced that Guizhong had passed away, you felt as if you somewhat understood how Xiao felt. You didn’t even register that you had walked back to the same place Xiao was standing back when he was in the rain. The war was finally over but after everything that had happened to get to this point, it was hard. You knew that a few of your other Yaksha’s were ready to return to Jueyun Karst or return to earth. You blink quickly as you feel two arms wrap around you and you realize how funny fate seems to be. You choke out some unintelligible noise that’s a mix between a laugh and a sob as you cling onto him and let your bottled up emotions pour out.

He’s the last person you see in the newly established Liyue, wishing him luck in the rest of his journey, as you return to the earth. You aren’t sure what you’ll turn into but you hope that the peaceful atmosphere you both created will remain.

Xiao

It was completely out of the blue when you asked if he wanted to come on an adventure with you. You were both sitting under the tree that held the Wangshu inn up when you suddenly sat up and pointed in some far off direction across Liyue. Asked if he wanted to come with you after the lantern festival was over. He was a bit taken aback, you were a traveler first and foremost but you never asked if he wanted to come with you. You had always assumed that he wanted to stay as a protector of Liyue but after what Morax, now Zhongli, had said and how it was time to him to step down. You decided to ask him. It didn’t have to be far, you both could go to the stone gate if he wanted, just if he wanted to come with you anywhere.

His first instinct is to decline but you end up cutting him off before he can say anything.

“I know you have your reasons and loyalties to stay as Liyue’s protector. That’s why I’m not asking for you to accompany me across Teyvat. But I don’t know when I’m going to be back and after what happened in Liyue, I thought it would be nice to just, take a break, and go anywhere. You don’t have to accompany me if you don’t want to but I think it’d be nice to wander together,” you say as you continue to look across the land from the balcony. He can’t see where you’re looking at exactly but he ponders your words.

To wander and go anywhere. Just the two of you. He’s never even considered leaving Liyue even after all the demons were replaced with weak hilichurls and slimes. He gazes up at the tree’s leaves, looks further to see celestia, and even further back to his home. Guizhong always said he needed to relax and live in the moment of now rather than running past everything but was he really ready for that? 

“Ah, sorry was that a bit too forward? I really didn’t mean anything ba-”

“Yes. Let’s go,” Xiao cuts you off as his eyes shine in a new light of determination, “Wherever you want to go, I will come with you.”

You blink once, twice, before a bright grin stretch's across your face as you quickly ask if he’s joking. He’s not, and you cheer excitedly as you list off different places you’ve wanted to explore. Perhaps the shoal? Maybe even further into the chasm? Actually wait, the electro archon has closed that area off so maybe not there. Xiao patiently listens to you ramble as he smiles softly. Your excitement is addicting and he can feel his heart flutter just a bit. How long has it been since he felt this way? He can feel a small tug on his thumb, he looks down but he can’t see anything, but there’s a comfortable weight that he’s felt has been missing for a very long time.

Alven:

Water fairies found in ponds in the Netherlands, though they don’t have wings. They can, however, fly by being encased in bubbles and traveling on the winds. Main home is the River Elbe, as it is sacred to them. Small fairies, extremely light and sometimes shift into otters.

Ashrays:

Water fairies from Scotland that are mistaken for sea ghosts; have white bodies and look like a twenty-year-old human, both male and female. Nocturnal fairies, if sunlight hits them they will melt into a rainbow-colored pond of water.

Asrai:

Arе little, frail, female fairies. Thеу can’t bе exposed tо sunshine оr captured; еlѕе thеу ѕhаll melt аwау іntо а puddle оf water.

Ballybog (Peat Fairy):

Ancient Irish fairies that protect the peatbogs of Ireland; very ugly in appearance, as they are covered in mud and they are completely round. Known as boggans in Northern England.

Banshee (Beansidhe, Beannidhe, Washer at the fords, Washer-woman):

A spirit attached tо раrtісulаr families. Usually believed to announce or warn of a death in some of the old Irish and Scottish families, and when that occurs, she is known for her loud and piercing wail and weeping. When seen in Ireland, she is usually washing burial shrouds as a symbol for preparation for a burial. She looks different in each region where she has been seen. Some say she is a gorgeous woman, while others claim she looks more like a green hag with scraggly hair and long nails.

Brownies (House Brownies, Little Man):

Hаvе traditionally affiliated thеmѕеlvеѕ wіth humans аnd human families. Traditionally friendly аnd authentically helpful. Associated with the element earth. Supposed to pick a house with a nice and caring family in which to aid the woman of the house in her chores.

Changeling:

An ugly fairy child put in the place of a kidnapped human child.

Devas:

A type of fairy originating in Persia and Greece. Small fairies that appear as bright orbs of light that live in nature and are one with Mother Nature. Said to live in the woods and in conjunction with the natural vibrations around them.

Dryads:

Thеу аrе creatures thаt dwell іn thе trees, preferably Oaks. Thе Druids addressed thеm fоr aspiration.

Elves:

A dіffеrеnt nаmе bу whісh trooping fairies аrе known. Thеу mау bе split uр іntо thе Seelie аnd Unseelie Courts.

Heather Pixie (Moor Sprites):

A type of pixie fairy with beautifully delicate and translucent wings, seen in Scotland and England. Live in the moors and love the heather around the moors.

Irish Sea Water Guardians:

A type of fairy originating in the Isle of Man. Water guardian fairies of small stature and are sacred to the Sea God Manann. They are said to be surrounded by a greenish blue light. Guard the Irish seas and are said to float on broken eggshells or surf on Irish seashells during storms. Particularly active during sea storms. Enjoy dolphins and sea life in general.

Kelpie:

A type of fairy seen in Scotland and Ireland, associated with the water. Webfooted and ugly water spirits and aren’t seen anymore. They were said to snatch deer from the shoreline to eat, other fairies and even humans were eaten by kelpies. Shapeshifting was possible by the male kelpies, as they would shift into handsome human men to lure young women to the water in order to consume them.

Lady of the Lake:

A type of fairy or possibly a Mother goddess who offered excalibur to King Arthur of Camelot. Said to live on Avalon or possibly under Dosmary Pool.

Merpeople:

A type of water fairy seen worldwide. Commonly called mermaids or mermen and are half human-half fish creatures who reside in the oceans and seas throughout the world. Appear to be very beautiful creatures, both the men and the women. In many tales from sailors mermaids were said to lure ships to the rocks and to their deaths, but in other stories, mermaids were said to have rescued or tried to rescue drowning men.

Nymphs:

A type of fairy from Greece, said to be very seductive and are more of a classification of fairies. There are wood nymphs, water nymphs, tree nymphs, grove nymphs, etc. Have a reputation for being obsessed with sex, hence the term for someone addicted to sexual activity.

Pixies:

Frequently tаkе thе form оf hedgehogs. They’re naughty fairies whо love playing practical jokes оn humanity аnd оthеr Fay folk. Thеу lіkеwіѕе love tо steal horses tо ride. They live in flower gardens and are attracted to all types of flowers.

Salamanders:

A type of fairy most commonly known and seen as a fire elemental in magical workings. Salamanders appear as fiery lizards. Associated with the element fire and are known to aid in workings of passion and revenge.

Selkie:

A type of fairy that is a shapeshifter. A water fairy that has the ability to change from the appearance of a seal into a human being.

Urisk:

Iѕ а hermit fairy whо haunts lonesome pools. Hе wіll frequently seek оut human company however; hіѕ special appearance terrorizes thоѕе hе approaches.

Will O’Wisp:

A type of fairy that dances across lakes and bodies of water at night. The light that these fairies give off tends to look like a flickering candle or flickering orb of light. They have been seen all over the world.

How to Work With Fae/Faires

Fae are repelled by negative energy in and around the home and areas that have low energy. So thoroughly cleansing every portion of the home and the land nearby is a sound idea.

—Having a clean home, free of clutter, dust, and a mess is an absolute must as Fae cannot stand a mess.

—Find a powerful location for your altar.

—Don’t demand too much from them in the beginning and instead bask in their graciousness, overall just be extremely humble.

—Speaking softly or singing, as well as playing gentle music or burning well-fragranced candles helps create a pleasing atmosphere. Leaving out honey or even a little bit of alcohol will be appreciated.

How do I Know I’m Working Fae?

The overall energy of the home will become stronger, more positive, and lighter as you begin working with them.

Some people say that they see them as dazzling points of light that stay for a second or two. Smile and acknowledge them.

General mental health may improve over time.

Could you talk more about the Nymph transformation, and how to earn it and what the transformation should look like. (You need Sirenix, Faunus Corpus, Cosmix, a air transformation and a fire transformation first right?). I'm not sure if you ever clearly wrote it but a Guardian Fairy of a planet ties their core magic to the planet, can you talk more about it, and can any enchantix fairy do that? Thank you for your work:)

Hey! I’m gonna talk about guardian fairies in another answer if that’s alright. Let’s tackle the Nymph Quest.

It consiss of five transformations: Sirenix, Corpus Fauny, Fractalix, Ignitix and Cosmix. The Quest itself can be undertaken by any fey magic user of at least Enchanteur/tress level and can be done in a group or alone, but each transformation must be earned by every participating person individually. Some of these transformations are unlocked through a series of quest tasks (eg Sirenix), a single task(eg Ignitix) or through connection with an external agent (eg Corpus Fauni).

To help fey magic users start their quest, natural guardians linked to wild magic, such as selkies or Magifauna can bestow Harmonix onto the participants. Harmonix equalises a fairy’s powers in a new environment they are not innately suited for. In the case of the Winx this meant major adjustments for fire and light power users Bloom and Stella, while Layla barely got any boost compared to her Enchantinx, because her powers already made her very adapted to an underwater envirnoment. The looks of Harmonix changes depending on which creature granted it to the fairy in question.

The quest is designed to be completed in five years (one for each component), but it can be done faster. At the end of the period is a hard cutoff: if a magic user isn’t done with all five quests and was able to manifest a nymph form, the process is deemed as failed and they will lose their magic power. Equally failure at any of the five parts of the Quest evokes the same penalty. Attempting the Nymph Quest is therefore a high stakes challenge.

Thematically the transformations of the Nymph Quest, while they certainly appear to, don’t actually correspond to the elements. The nymph transformation was crafted by h’Agia, mother of all nymphs towards the end of the second Sorcerer Fairy War with the aim of unifying ALL uses of magic. For this she blended not only the principles of fey magic and sorcery, but examined the way other magic beings interact with the Flow and use it’s powers as magic. She has discovered the deep tie other beings have to Wild Magic that humans lack, who rather tend to get attached to Archane Magic through their bond with pixies.

Therefore each of the five transformation copies aspects of the five non-human magic beings found in the Magic universe, while the Nymph transformation itself represents the human aspect while also bundling the previous five. 

Sirenix is the obvious merfolk magic mimic. It allows fairies to access the Infinite Ocean and travel between planets the mer way.

Corpus Fauni is built on the same roots as elven magic, with the most noticeable influence of sorcery as well. It requires bonding with a Magifaunus though to filter pure wild magic for the fairies to use. Its other effects include the ability to shift into or merge with the bonded Magifaunus.

Cosmix is representative of centauri magic. The centauri, while entirely terrestrial base their magic on cosmic power fluctuations and astrology. For fairies this mainly translates into gaining the ability to survive in space and wings that allow them to cross massive distances in the blink of an eye (these wings are not suitable for on planet hovering flying though)

Fractalix is largely the same subspace manipulation gnomes use to shrink and teleport between the folds of sub and supradimension. With this transformation fairies are able to enter subdimensional spaces, whether stable like the Golden Kingdom, or unstable. There is a strict time limit however to how long it can be used, as magic digests and fairies run the risk of loosing skin and limbs to subspace - literally.

And finally Ignitix is the harpy magic equivalent. Though sentient magic using harpies are long extinct by the time the Winx are born, their legacy as the first fire using civilisation remains intact. Their magic harvests energy from atmospheric pressure, lightning and geothermal heat. Ignitix  bestowes considerable extra firepower to fairies (literally and figuratively) is also very limited in use: like sorcery it draws on powers a fairy doesn’t necessarily have at the moment and can therefore only be evoked 3 times in a nymphs lifetime (which is very long). Sometimes evoking it is not a conscious thought, but rather a last resort, in this way compensating a bit for the nymph transformation’s biggest drawback.

...which is that after completing the whole Quest and gaining the nymph form, fairies lose their Enchantix. Being a nymph and having all these forms to draw from more than compensates in general. However it has to be said that the nymph transformation(s) are fundamentally more suited for Elemental aspect magic users. Abstract aspect users may have better applications of their powers in spell-crafting and being an Enchanteur/tress than a nymph, but that is ultimately a personal decision.

❛ ongoing special event! ❜ ─  The lengthy days of the summer season signals the coming of a prosperous harvest while the heat awakens the beauty of romance. Because love and nature are elements of deep importance to pixies, they organize a ball in celebration of Midsummer annually.

While the ball was previously a private event solely for pixies, in recent years, the royal family has been kind enough to extend the invitation to all species in an attempt to alleviate strife when there are growing tensions and to bring members of different species together.

This year, the event will be a masquerade ball.

The event will be taking place in gardens of the Château de La Messardiere and the Wanderlust Forest. The blossom pixies take great care to adorn the venue with the loveliest flowers. Pixie dust is sprinkled atop of chandeliers so they float above the dance floor. In the forest, glowing lights dangle from the trees and fireflies dance along the paths while more dangerous woodland animals keep away for the night at the request of the fauna pixies. Sky pixies ensure perfect weather and starry skies while muse pixies arrange the finest musical performances. And once the ball begins, guardian pixies occasionally play cupid in hopes of prompting true love’s kiss.

The Midsummer Ball is a chance to not only showcase one’s finery and dance the night away with a beautiful partner, but it will also feature games, a scavenger hunt, and another special surprise from the pixies. [ graphic made by Sage Ambrose typist for the event ]

Appearance: Jora is tall for her age, chubby and often wears her hair loose in a parted styled held together with bobby pins. She has a wide and round face, nose, and short uet very thick eyebrows. She wears very little makeup, and always seen wearing lacy pink gloves.

Attire: Varies by seasons and series but she typically wears vibrant or pastel hues with floral and animal motifs, cutesy designs, or polka dots. I'll make an outfit ref soon!

Personality: Jora is described as a super sweet if timid and shy young woman with a deep respect for life. However she bottles up a lot of her negative emotions which sometimes makes her a doormat or she ends up being really icy. She learns to beyter express her negativity, though she does retain emotional sensitivity time to time.

In the OS Jo had to overcome one of her biggest flaws, Bystander Syndrome, in order to protect herself and her friend. Throughout thr series she becomes more assertive, though she dislikes sounding too mean.

While she adheres to the theme of second chances, she has little tolerance for faking and betrayals and wants people to actively work on making amends or changing their ways. She knows that some people can't change, so instead of active revenge she would rather let the person's actions catch up to them, or hold them accountable. She despises assumptions that she's evil just because of her powers. She admits to harboring some resentment, but over time she learned to accept her condition and adapt to it rather creatively.

Love Interests: Ben Tennyson

Ship Name: Cosmic Toadstool or BenJo

Ben Tennyson is her major love interest, starting from a brief tense rivalry from their first meeting. Over time they began to see they had common ground and developed more friendly relations by the end. The Ben 10000 episode is particularly amusing in that BOTH of them were quite disgusting at the implication that their older selves dated each other. Ironically it was their older selves watching their example that lowkey led to them getting back together.

They restarted their friendship in Omniverse albeit clumsily as both hadn't seen nor heard from each other in several years. Not to mention new problems: Jora hadn't quite got over her shyness and was socially awkward, and Ben swore off romance after too many failed relationships ego and wanting to focus on his hero career. Layer seasons would see the two began to grow a romantic attraction to each other, with them getting together post series. I kinda didn't want them together right at the end of s8 to drive home the point of them navigating a romance and not just "fighting fate" or what not. So they'll get together on THEIR own terms.

Backstory: Jora appears in the original show as a recurring character and ally to the Tennysons. The joke is that her family, who were also on a cross-country road trip, would often show up at the exact same city or town the Tennysons would be in.

Original Series: Unlike Ben and Gwen, the timid Jo was born with her powers but was afraid of them as she could barely keep it in check. She also didn't start out friendly with the two having been put off by their constant quarreling. It wasn't until an encounter with Kevin Levin (hint: KIDNAP) where she tried using her powers to defend herself and Four Arms for the first time. It didn't exactly work out leaving her ashamed for being a bystander, and decided to remedy this by practicing her powers for better use. This leads up to the Camp Fear event where she played a huge part in containing and eventually purifying the corrupted Mycellium (and yes corrupted; there's something bigger going on).

There were a couple of more adventures: goinf to Chicago to meet up with her cousins Patti and Ginger for a music fesitval; time travel shenanigans, fighting Rojo and her niece Cinnabar, & battling the the Negative 10. Her relationship with Ben and Gwen also greatly improved to the point where they became genuine friends near the end of the show.

UAF: After the road trip ended, she parted ways with the Tennysons and headed back to her hometown of Anneville,S.C. While not fully copinf with her powers she had a rejuvenated sense of self confidence and decided to find more uses for her powers. This included clearing away invasive plant species around town, going into homes and clearing away toxic molds, and dabbling into the scientific side of her powers. She maintained contact with the Tennysons until a few years when life started to get too busy for any of them to remain in contact.

It was also at this point Jora would learn about the scorn "dark" elementals would face, as well as a conflict between dark elementals just wanting to live their lives in peace and a group called the Temple of Light. The Temple's goal was to rid the world of all evil but took rather underhanded methods to do it. Jo would also briefly battle a faction of Forever Knights led by her contemporary Forever Princess, and villainous entrepreneur Kudzu.

Omniverse: Six years passed and Jora got a request from Max Tennyson to join a new "initiative." She turned it down, feeling that she wasn't suited for actual superheroics and wanting to focus on her studies. She was also afraid of seeing her old friends; a small part of her wondered if they'd still recognize her after so many years.

A few weeks later Patti planned on moving to Bellwood for her new job. Jora came with her to help her move in, & it was that trip where she and Ben reunited, and met his new partner Rook Blonko. Ben mentioned about his grandfather picking out new teammates to protect Bellwood. Jora admitted that max sent her a letter but she turned him down for personal reasons. Feeling rather disappointed Ben states that there's always an open spot for her.

During her stay Jora and Rook were taken around town to get familiar with each other and the sites. Rook was curious about her relationship with Ben which she replies that they go way back but hadn't really talked to each other in years. Much of season one and two is spent with her and Ben awkwardly reconnecting. Eventually she becomes a bit of a consultant for the Plumbers and a major member of Team 10, further developing her friendship with Rook, and something much deeper with Ben.

Post Series: Jora's experiences leads her to try to form a villain rehab group, succeeding by forming the Substitute Plumbers. She also begins to use her status and fame to raise awareness on multiple issues from gentrification to widespread Plumber corruption. After a brief breakup and working solo, She and Ben 10000 reconciled and within a year of two married and had three kids over the span of ten more years. Jora became a consultant specializing in Earth customs.

Okay, what lightning based creature from folklore and mythology might you interpret Josh being spliced with? Same with Corey, because "chameleon" don't cut it lol

Ugh, so many.

Corey:

My first thought would be any of the practically endless variety of household spirits and fairies attributed with invisibility - most of them usually denoted as being mischief makers, not inherently good or evil but more aligned to like a chaotic-neutral kinda thing than any particular morality.

These include, but are not limited to, various kinds of goblin-esque creatures that aren’t necessarily what one would picture when thinking of goblins in terms of like, Lord of the Rings. But brownies, hobgoblins and trow from various Celtic regions of Europe, or something like the duende from Iberian folklore perhaps, some takes on the domovoi from Russian legends, or maybe French lutins though they’re a bit more malevolent in nature than most of these others....but any of those could easily acount for the invisibility/camouflage Corey’s capable of, and there’s a lot of them that like, being part of Corey’s ‘nature’ could pair well with the fact that he’s small and unobtrusive in appearance, as well as being a shy, insecure kid not above expressing (justified) resentment or letting that dictate his actions or behavior towards people.

A boggart could also be interesting because there are as many takes on the boggart being a physical flesh and blood shapeshifter or fairy as there are it being a kind of spirit, and invisibility is as much a part of its nature as taking on the appearance of something someone fears....and there’s a lot of potential IMO in the almost irony of making Corey of all characters be part ‘boogeyman’ - since the boggart is the basis of boogeyman legends.

A sylph could be interesting, but it would have to be a Teen Wolf take on the actual sylphs of legend, like putting its own spin on it like it does with a lot of the other supernatural creatures that show up. Because as is, a sylph is one of the four elemental types of beings along with salamanders, undines and gnomes, and so its literally just a creature of air - but invisible and spritely, etc. So a Teen Wolf version of a sylph that’s flesh and blood at least some of the time and even CAN be ‘spliced’ into the chimera genome in some way....like, you’d definitely have to tweak your version to make it work, but it could work. And sylph fits a lot about Corey as a character, and it opens up doors for him to have powers beyond just invisibility, such as maybe giving him a kind of telekinesis or even the ability to levitate.

There’s a couple of Finnish beings of legends that could fit the bill, like keiju (kinda a Finnish version of pixies or sprites) or even tonttu, which are like a kind of....proto-Christmas elf, almost? LOL. But again, both are attributed with invisibility and discretion, though the keiju tend to be less concerned with human affairs while the tonttu are normally seen as helpful beings and friendly to humanity.

A bodach could be interesting too, they’re Scottish tricksters, usually more malevolent than neutral but not necessarily. Again, normally invisible, often follow people and frightening them with the sound of footsteps while there’s not even footprints in sight.....BUT the thing that’s interesting about this at least in terms of Teen Wolf, is there are various kinds of bodach like the Bodach Glas, the Dark Grey Man, who are also perceived as death omens. Like they’re normally invisible, and the only time you see one is if you’re going to die, and so given the other death-omen related beings in TW like banshees and hellhounds, Corey actually being part Bodach could have some interesting implications or associations....like, maybe if it turns out that he can turn invisible whenever he wants, but occasionally he realizes someone sees him even when he doesn’t want them to....but when that happens, that’s actually just because or a sign that the person is destined to die soon. Especially given the way Corey was used in 6A during the Wild Hunt storyline, like....you could definitely tie that into things there or go in similar directions with that.

Tbh though, I’m most intrigued I think by the idea of what if Corey was part....leshy, or one of the various analogues to the leshy in different regions like the borovoi in Russia or the Lithuanian mishkinis. But the leshy, and other related beings are like....a nature spirit, albeit a physical being rather than like a true spirit-spirit. But they’re usually nature GUARDIANS, specifically, and most associated with woods and forests. There’s also a fun kind of irony because one of the attributes of the leshy, aside from its invisibility or ability to disguise itself among the trees by blending in with its backgrounds, is like....the leshy is a size changer as well, and typically defaults as an enormous being, as tall as a tree....but who can also shrink to the size of a blade of grass. Given that Corey’s on the small size, this kinda amuses me, but also could make for a fun twist if he eventually realizes his powers don’t let him just turn invisible or fade into the background, but like, he can change his size and height as well. Make him like an Ant-Man kinda character.

But another thing that’s particular interesting about the leshy, and makes me lean towards it, is that the leshy isn’t just a generic forest spirit or guardian, but is associated with hunting in specific. But not in the human kind of way, but the hunters of nature.....as in, the leshy is often surrounded by or depicted as always being in the company of...packs of wolves. Occasionally bears, too, but they’re most associated with wolves. Which makes making Corey part leshy and part of a wolf pack particularly fitting, I think. And also sets up some interesting conflicts with hunters like Argent, even if Corey doesn’t even KNOW why he’s so antagonistic towards them, but like, as part leshy, he would likely be prone to very Not Good vibes about human hunters. Which also creates some interesting implications about the WHY of the Dread Doctors of all beings choosing to make a chimera that was part leshy aka anti-hunter....given that the lead Dread Doctor, Marcel, pretty much did everything he did because he was super obviously in love with Sebastian aka the Beast, the prime target and enemy of hunters everywhere, and the whole reason the Argent dynasty began in the first place.

Josh:

I’d need to give some more thought to him. I have seen people headcanon that Josh was spliced with some kind of raiju, which is a creature from Japanese legends typically associated with various gods of thunder. The raiju is a kind of thunder-beast, and usually takes the form or appearance of a blue-white wolf shaped from lightning, though it can also take other forms like that of a weasel, a badger or even a dragon.

I mean, this one definitely does work, its just I’m kinda like.....eh, just because TW has fucked around with and fucked over Japanese legends enough on the show without putting any real effort into prioritizing or centering them or the characters associated with them....aka all our rants about Kira and the nameless/barely-a-character nogitsune. I suspect my resistance to having Josh be part raiju is less that like, it doesn’t fit or make sense than it is mostly just.....I don’t trust the execution of most of the people I’ve seen do the headcanoning him as such, lol, so I’m knee-jerk inclined to just run the opposite direction with it, lol. Also, along similar lines, just NO times infinity to having him be in any way part thunderbird because Leave Native American legends alone Teen Wolf, You’ve Done Enough.

There are a number of other kinds of lightning birds though, from regions all around the world, like Slavic mythology and folklore has a couple, particularly associated with Perun, there’s a few in South American regions, Zulu folklore has a lightning bird called the impundulu....but even just going back to Eastern Europe with this, in the sense that since so many of the other creatures TW focused on originate there and that’s where the DD are from, its not a stretch to imagine beings or creatures from that region being particularly central to a lot of their experiments....like, for instance in terms of that reasoning, my personal preference would be to go with one of the various takes on the shtriga or strigoi that associate them with lightning (mostly ball lightning) that could work and be something a bit different. 

Because the strigoi are basically the basis for Stoker’s take on vampires in particular, so instead of being specifically derived from some kind of lightning-specific creature or being like the raiju, making Josh part strigoi would mean his electricity powers were really only incidental to his chimera nature rather than the focus of it, and since the Teen Wolf chimeras are all one third human, one third werewolf, and one third something else....Josh being a strigoi chimera would effectively make him TW’s version of a vampire-werewolf hybrid.

(Also, like with the leshy, the strigoi makes a certain kind of sense to be spliced with werewolves or associated with a wolf pack, because the strigoi is pretty much definitively THE version of a vampire that having vampires have strong connections to and imagery associated with wolves, or vampires being able to shapeshift into wolves specifically.....like the strigoi are where those legends and takes in particular all stem from).

And I mean, Josh as part strigoi definitely puts his teeth when he’s in his shifted form in a totally different light, lolol.

Mother and Early Life:

Margarita comes from a mixed background, born to a single mother in Isis after a brief affair which her mother, Sabbia, believed to be the start of a long lasting relationship, Margarita has always felt the weight of her mother's expectations and desire for a better life for them both.

Their family line has had only weak fairies, and those have been spread out over the generations. Sabbia, was the first fairy of any real strength but her familial duty kept her home bound and helping with the old inn their family runs instead of learning more than the basics about her powers.

During a treaty summit roughly 16-18 years pre-series, the inn hosted the King of Laugos and his entourage, and Margarita was conceived, but Sabbia was left behind when the party returned to their own world.

Her mother pushed Margarita to embrace all the chances Sabbia had missed in her youth, and become the best fairy Margarita could be.

(And also with the hope Margarita's father would acknowledge her existence.)

Unfortunately for Margarita, this push for excellence hits unhealthy levels of obsession for her mother, something Margarita is aware of, but she doesn't feel like she can get out of her current circumstances without throwing everything her mother has ever sacrificed for Margarita back in her face. (And she believes she has nowhere to go.)

Margarita plans to get a well paying job that will allow her to take care of her mother and repay everything Sabbia has ever done for her, but one that will also take her away from her mother frequently. (Academically, logically, Margarita knows she shouldn't have to pay her mother back for doing the basic motherly steps of raising her own child, but beyond just feeling beholden to her mother, Margarita has some genuine affection for Sabbia which makes it difficult to keep an emotional distance.)

As a result of Sabbia's drive for Margarita's success, Margarita had very little social life as a young child which left Margarita feeling forever out of step with her peers, only her experience helping at the inn gave her the (customer service) ability to interact with others in a way that makes her seem personable.

Her academic achievements meant Margarita was always at the top of her class and often somewhat ahead, which helped her to secure scholarships to Eraklyon's premier school to study magic.

Which is where she met Diaspro.

Academia and Diaspro:

The two young women have been fighting each other for the top spot in everything since they first took the same exam.  Despite driving one another ever harder, they recognise a kindred spirit, both of them throwing away their own desires (not that they’ve ever really had the chance to figure out what those are exactly) to strive for unobtainable perfection.

They share a mutual, if grudging respect for one another, and any time another student comes close to replacing them at the top of the score boards, they close ranks and study together. (“If someone's going to beat me, it had better be you! I won't lose to some nobody!”)

The high stress of always having to maintain perfect grades and be friendly (if not friends) with everyone is extremely taxing, and Margarita often feels like she's on the edge of a complete meltdown.

Biological Quirks:

As a fairy from a long line of strong fairies associated with the elemental idea of earth and stone, Diaspro has a higher than average natural strength which Margarita will never match.

As someone who has a parent from Laugos, Margarita's body has a more efficient respiratory and cardio vascular system which allows her to run for longer and endure less hospitable air qualities better. (and dive for longer without spell assistance.)

Of course, Margarita can't shake off being thrown through a brick wall as easily as Diaspro.

And there's a down side to Laugossian heritage.

Laugos is called the Lagoon planet, it is covered primarily by lagoons and shoals, the surface water in most areas is often only 50 - 100 metres deep, though there are some sections of ocean which are said to be dozens of kilometres deep. (The furthest down most people go is 5 kilometres, which is half the depth of the Marianas Trench on Earth.)

The people of Laugos live in the shallows of the ocean, in crystalline under water cities, their eyes are adapted for extreme glare and constant shifting of light.

Margarita's eyes aren't able to handle the light like a pure-blooded Laugosian would, but her eyes aren't Eraklyon standard either, and occasionally she wears glasses or contacts to regulate her eyes' photo-sensitivity.

During the Series:

Margarita has never been Sky's biggest fan, finding out about the events of the Day of the Royals had her ready to commit treason and beat him to death with his own arm, but she decided Diaspro need a sympathetic shoulder more.

After Diaspro was kidnapped from her own palace while attending her princess duties, Margarita told Diaspro that she'd developed a theory:

M: “Weird things have been happening to you in the past few years, and it always seems to be while you're off doing your princess things, and therefore I miss them. I propose, you stop going places with out me, because I am clearly the anchor your life revolves around, nothing bizarre has ever happened to you around me, so for your own safety...”

D: *starts laughing and doesn't stop for several minutes* “Yeah, sure, that's how I get my life back on track”

M: “Well if you're going to be sarcastic, see if I ever help you again.”

D: “No! Come back! I need you to help me make 'Queen Consorting for Dummies'.”

M: “... what for?”

D: “urgh, Bloom. Sky's dating her, probably wants to marry her, which means she needs to know everything I know, and she has far less time to learn it in.”

M: “Your making her a cheat guide for Consort studies? Really? Her?”

D: “Sure, why not right? It's my duty as the Heir of Isis to ensure Eraklyon is in the best capable hands, which means making her hands any kind of capable. It's just duty. It's not like she ruined my life, stole my purpose and destroyed my entire sense of identity!!”

M: “... I don't know exactly when I became the calm, stable one in this relationship, but I hate it.”

Shortly before Valtor broke out of the Omega Dimension, Margarita received a summons from her father requesting her help.

Prince Litore, the heir to the throne had been injured and cursed in an attack by an ancient sea witch who had suddenly crawled out of the depths of Laugos's ocean, from a place called “koiláda tou thanátou”, (lit. “Death Valley”) the deepest chasm in the ocean floor which few have ever gone into, and which none have ever returned until now.

Margarita was called because her father had known of her existence, but never planned to acknowledge her, until the witch returned. Their ancestor had been a Guardian Fairy who'd defeated the witch before locking the tool she'd used away so it couldn't be misused, and only a fairy of her bloodline could free it.

Margarita is, of course, the only known fairy of her bloodline currently alive available. And naturally the Prince can’t be un-cursed until the witch has been defeated, so she absolutely has to do that while she’s there retrieving the witch-be-gone-device anyway.

By the time she's finished and able to return to Eraklyon, Diaspro has already been banished.

(Which makes Margarita laugh in hysterics, because she's just gotten herself perma-banned from Laugos for punching the king in the face after he acted like they'd done her a favour for calling her, rather than her doing Laugos and the royal family a favour by showing up and risking her life to save them.)

Margarita agrees that she could see how people would think so, but she's 100% certain Diaspro did not roofie prince Sky of her own free will. Not that Margarita can ever prove it one way or the other because the Eraklyon Royal guards stonewall her attempts to investigate.

Margarita's Father:

You may have guessed, Margarita's father is the King of Laugos.

Unlike with her mother, Margarita has no mixed feelings about her father and thinks he's 100% a piece of garbage (and not even the classy kind you're supposed to recycle).

She's also 78% certain she has more siblings than Prince Litore, who she thinks is arrogant and naïve, but not a complete loss if he can get his head out of his ass.

🍃When magicians talk about the elements, they don’t mean the periodic table you learned about in school. They’re referring to the four elements- air,earth,water,fire- that make up the natural world and beyond. Since ancient times, myths and legends have spoken about supernatural beings who fly through the air, burrow beneath the earth, or swim in the ocean’s depths. But these magical creatures don’t simply reside in these regions; they serve as guardians and ambassadors of their respective realms. Some people might describe them as energetic forces rather than specific entities, and they go by different names in different mystical traditions. In Eastern mysticism, divine beings known as devas (similar to angels or minor deities) direct the nature spirits. In the fairy world, the three most popular elementals are known as sylphs, sprites, and water nymphs. Fire fairies called salamanders also show up from time to time, but they’re less prevalent.

🍃 SYLPHS: AIR ELEMENTALS 🍃

🍃 Tinker bell and her flying friends fall into this category of nature spirits. But sylphs aren’t just cute and delicate winged beings, as contemporary films and children’s book portray them- they handle lots of things related to the air and sky. In addition to possessing the ability to fly, sylphs have the power to manipulate the winds, influence air quality, and help earthlings breathe- some sources say they’re busy cleaning up chemtrails these days. The also assist birds and flying insects.

🍃 SPRITES: EARTH ELEMENTALS  🍃 

🍃 Those little green guys you see in the garden are probably sprites (though not all sprites are green or little.) Earth elementals include a large cast of characters, such as tree guardians,gnomes,dryads, and some pixies and elves. These nature spirits aid the growth of flowers,trees, and other plants- if you look closely , you might spot them sitting in a tree or resting beneath a blackberry bush.When autumn comes, they change from green to red,orange,and gold. Earth elementals also play an important role in helping the earth heal from the effects of pollution, deforestation, mining, and other forms of destruction.

🍃 WATER NYMPHS: WATER ELEMENTALS  🍃 

🍃 Also known as undines, these spirits splash about in the waters of the world. Mermaids fall into this category, too. Usually depicted as beautiful young females, water nymphs perform a variety of tasks, from nourishing life on earth to regulating the tides to inspiring artists and poets. They also protect fish and aquatic creatures and- if they choose- guide humans on sea voyages. In recent times, these elementals have been working hard to offset the effects of water pollution and the destruction of marine habitat.

Aoyama

Species: Fairy

You can usually find him near a pond, complimenting himself and staring into the water’s reflection like a lovesick fool. He’ll talk anyone’s ear off about himself so be warned if you wanna become friends with him. He’s got unstable magic, so be careful, but don’t shy away, he’s self-conscious about it and it makes him upset. He’s a nice guy, really!

Ashido

Species: Pixie

She’s super mischievous and loves to play pranks on anyone near her radius, so watch out! Has most likely ruined a lot of people’s day because of her little jokes. She’s a sweetheart though and loves to meet new people! Oh, she also loves to dance! Catch her with the fauns, dancing to their music.

Ausi

Species: Human (Wiccan - Druid)

Ausi’s usually hanging around lakes and ponds, in her frog form, swimming away or talking with the creatures that live there. She likes to help the creatures who get hurt, so she’s basically the forest medic. Very sweet tells everyone to call her Tsu! All her friends call her that.

Iida

Species: Centaur

His family are known as guardians of the people, they protect them as a pact and you can usually see him running side-by-side with his older brother. He’s going to inherit the power over his clan one day alongside his brother, so he’s a heckler for rules, you can usually hear his scolding from a mile away. Mina likes to tease him a lot. Though, he does change within the future, learns to become more carefree. He’s still all about rules though.

Uraraka

Species: Fairy

She’s really sweet to be around! The lovely fairy that likes to help out, despite her own little struggles! You can usually find her in the fields, helping flowers bloom, talking to the forest! You should meet her! She loves making new friends! Though don’t piss her off, she has a good handle on her magic and will play rough if she has to!

Ojiro

Species: Naga

He’s a super chill dude, likes to explore the area around his cave often. He wants to be a warrior and protect the forest from the huntsmen despite his clan’s neutral stance on things. A lot of the other forest creatures see him as plain and it really upsets him! He’s interesting, dammit! Luckily, he has Hagakure there to cheer him on! (Even though he can’t see her)

Kaminari

Species: Human (Wiccan - Bard)

He and his family kind of showed up one day and he’s been in the forest since. He likes to try and charm everyone he sets his eyes on, he has the charisma to do so of course, but the boy knows his boundaries (unlike some hobgoblin he’s friends with) He usually just strolls through the forest playing his oud or with Mina playing pranks. He and Jiro are also best friends, she’s the one who taught him how to play the instruments.

(I was gonna do Sorcerer for him but honestly? Bard suited him much better)

Kirishima

Species: Element Dragon (Mountain/Rock)

Kirishima’s one of the friendliest guys around! His species are known to be pretty wise and noble, but honestly? He’s a huge ball of sunshine, likes to hang around the forest a lot, play with the other young creatures. Most haven’t seen his dragon form because of the tight squeeze between trees and people tend to see him as really intimidating! It breaks his heart sometimes! He’s a nice guy!

Koda

Species: Forest Nymph

He’s a sweet yet shy guy, he likes to take care of the woodland creatures and they love him in return! He’s nervous when speaking to other people, so you don’t really see him around often. Though nowadays he’s much more social with others, openly talks as well, though don’t try to push his boundaries, he’ll come out on his own time. (Name) and him tend to hang out the most in the forest though (once she passes through the barrier), so if you can’t find her, she’s either with him or Midoirya.

Sato

Species: Werewolf

He’s a really nice guy! People are always intimidated by him first but he’s a softie at heart, he’s got a little cottage in the middle of the forest and cooks/bakes for all his friends, if you stumble across him, you’re sure to get a sample of his amazing cooking! Don’t take him as a pushover though, he can protect himself and his wolf form is very intimidating. Though, he’s also completely conscious and acts like a puppy dog.

Shouji

Species: (Descendant) Hecatonchires

This guy is kinda feared in the forest, by first glance, you can tell he’s strong (which he is!) and being a descendant of powerful entity (one’s that could throw literal mountains) tends to paint an image of himself for him. The thing is, he’s nothing like his ancestors, he’s super friendly and gentle, he’s just quiet. Honestly, if it weren’t for his six arms and intimidating height, more people would recognise that. (If you asked him nicely he’d give you one of the best hugs you’ve ever felt, and, maybe, give you a piggyback.)

Jiro

Species: Half-Human/Half-Mermaid (Wiccan - Bard)

Jiro’s the daughter of a lone Bard and a mermaid and surprisingly, one of the most chill people in the forest. She can be a little hostile to new people but she warms up to them eventually. She has a beautiful voice (thanks to her mermaid ancestry!) and her father taught her a bunch of instruments! She usually hangs out with Yaoyoruzu or Kaminari, her best friends.

Sero

Species: Drider

Sero’s usually looks human, so everyone tends to think of him a plain human who strolled into the forest and got lost. Some monsters take that for advantage, but he’s quite the opposite and can/will fight back. He’s got a spell cast on him (consensual) that lets him switch between a human form and his natural one (it’s much easier strolling in the woods with 2 legs, his usual 8 are better for caves) he’s super friendly and sociable, likes to crack jokes on the occasion and helps people out! His clan don’t really venture outside their cavern so he’s the out who goes out scavenging in case they need something. Kaminari, Mina and Kirishima are his go-to people.

Tokoyami

Species: Half-Human/Half-Deity (Wiccan - Cleric)

He’s the son of the deity of the Sky and the deity’s chosen warrior. He’s very serious and noble, promises to live out “whatever path fate as set me” and takes his job seriously. He’s fond of darkness and the arcane practices (though he’s embarrassed as others find that odd for a deity) Tokoyami is usually patrolling the skies on his familiar (a giant raven named Dark Shadow) but he’s not afraid of socialising with others.

Todoroki

Species: Yokai (Half-Oni/Half-Kitsune) [Ended up changing him because I didn’t really like my original idea!]

He’s father an Oni and one of the Nine Kings of “Lower Realm” (”Hell”) while his mother is a nine-tailed kitsune who (previously) protected the village, she was blessed by (Name)’s mother leaving her to be one of the most powerful kitsune to roam the surface. His mother was kidnapped by his father and used to create offspring to defeat the God All Might and take over the “Middle Realm” (”Earth”) and Upper Realm (“Heaven”). Todoroki was sent to the surface to discover the man’s weakness but in the end, just stayed because his father had no control over him there. He was standoffish and cold (for his safety) but eventually changed after meeting (Name).

Hagakure

Species: Wind spirit

Hagakure is a sweet girl who’s usually hanging around Ojiro and encourages him to train! Because she’s a wind spirit though, her body is that of the wind and you can’t actually see her, but that doesn’t deter her! Friends of hers make clothes interlaced with magic so that she can be seen! She likes to fly with the wind, so if you listen carefully, you can hear her laughing as she flies by, you might even catch a glimpse of her (If she’s wearing her clothes of course) 

Bakugo

Species: Half-Human/Half-Phoenix (Also ended up changing him)

Now, this guy was a HUGE arse. His species are seen as good omens amongst the forest (and once to humans too) and he was super cocky about it, he saw other monsters as beneath him and used to bully others he deemed weak! However, he eventually befriended Kirishima and the other trouble makers and has since become a much better person. 

He’s still an arse though.

Midoirya

Species: Human (Later becomes Wiccan - Warlock)

Midoriya is a human that was born to a farm woman at the outskirts of town, next to the forest. He’s a simple guy, helps him mum around the farm, but he’s on friendly terms with the monster of the forest (-(Name)’s mother made sure of that) so he’s free to adventure into it as much as he wants! He loves everything about magic! Loves the creatures! Likes to write about them and has a little archive about them! (Hidden away of course) All Might and him eventually meet and All Might deems him worthy of becoming his successor! (Spoiler! He will eventually become the next guardian deity and rein over the monsters!)

Mineta

Species: Goblin

He’s a perfect example of what a goblin is. He’s disgustingly perverse and doesn’t care that people know it! He’s greedy but also smart, so he knows how to trick people, plays horrible pranks (pranks much worse than Ashido’s) and frankly, no one wants to hang out with him. (Other than Denki for some reason, though?) He is kinda self-conscious, as he’s grotesque so no woman wants to be with him. But seriously, who’s wants to be with a huge pervert? (He also harasses Yaoyorozu a lot)

Yaoyorozu

Species: Human (Wiccan - Witch)

Yaoyorozu is a human who had worked hard to acquire her magical abilities, coming from a noble family with a rich witch and wizard bloodline, she works hard to be seen as a respected Wiccan and bring pride to her family name! A lot of people see her as uptight at first, but it’s not her fault, her family had brought her up to be a picture-perfect lady so she doesn’t really know how to socialise like the others in the forest. Well, until she met Jiro, who helped bring out her more playful side! They’re the best of friends

and finally

(Name)

Species: Half-Human/Half-Deity (People think she’s a Forest Nymph tho) (Wiccan - Unknown)

Being the daughter of the nature goddess and a human, (Name) has made it her job to protect the forest from harm and is eventually labelled the “Guardian of Yuuei Forest”. She’s super playful and kind, helps out around the forest on the daily and protects it from the hunters! (Even though she is deathly terrified of them) She’s protected by other guardians/deities (the teachers) of the forest after her mother and father disappeared years ago. At first, she’s kind of sheltered, so she only knows of a few monsters in the forest but meets more when she breaks the rules and goes past her boundaries within the woods. ;)

Midoriya and Bakugo’s is still the same as in the manga/anime. Bakugo’s mum, Mitsuki, grew up in the village alongside Inko and they were best friends; Mitsuki disappeared one day and Inko discovered later that she fell in love with, married and ran away with a Phoenix named Masaru. So their kids grew up knowing one another and Bakugo bullied Midoriya because he was just a plain old human. He was also jealous when he over-heard (Name) talking to Midoriya about how Midoriya would be All Might’s successor (It wasn’t hidden about All Might having a successor to his power, the only thing kept hidden was the identity of the successor)
