Like people are so caught up in the concept, the made up angst, that tims favourite robin beat him up that they straight up misunderstand how much more significant Tim and Dicks relationship is not to mention the added layers of Tim originally being created as the ultimate self insert character which for a good number of readers meant they grew up with Dick as their favourite robin and didn't really like Jason just for not being Dick

After his time with the Inquisition, Thom Rainier was handed over to the Wardens. He’d been fairly sure he’d already filled his quota for world-ending disasters by then, but then came the Maker, laughing at his expense once again: Weisshaupt. It had been wiped off the face of the map.

He’s been on patrol ever since, part of a constant rotation of senior Wardens (or at least those with sufficient combat experience) scouting darkspawn movements and searching for any stragglers still making their way here after the disaster, but luckily his current shift is up. Time to head back to what remains of Grey Warden Headquarters in Lavendel to rest and resupply.

Thom’s stopped to ask Flynn about restocking potions when he spots a man—hard to say how old, really, especially with all that hair in his face—crouched low, on one knee, speaking with one of the injured from the battle at Weisshaupt. His cloak is threadbare and hangs too loosely from his rake-thin frame, this leathers worn and muddy, and he’s wearing a Warden scout helm with a wide brim, though Thom can tell at a glance he’s no Warden.

Nevertheless, there’s something undeniably familiar about him, Thom decides. He casually paces around the edges of the “Infirmary” (actually little more than a handful of leaky tents and a few dozen bedrolls lying in the mud), trying to get a better angle on the man’s face without attracting too much attention. He can see long, wispy blonde hair falling in waves to the man’s shoulders, a beard—a bit patchy with that light colored hair of his, but not bad, all things considered—and strange, pale eyes, flashing almost silver in the light of the lamp at his feet.

The moment the man’s eyes are in view, they flick upward, apparently having felt the weight of Thom’s gaze. Thom glances away in a hurry, but the man is already standing, walking towards him. Thom shuffles awkwardly, unsure of the other man’s intentions. He stops only a pace or two away. He’s still for a moment, as if waiting for Thom to notice him (something he is stubbornly pretending he hasn’t done), then, when Thom doesn’t react, his thin, dry lips part.

“Thom Rainier.”

Thom glances up in shock, but the man just smiles and softly says, “I knew you could see me.”

He knows that voice. He knows he knows it. But how? “I… know you from somewhere,” he mutters. “Do I?”

“I did it.”

“Congratulations…? Did what?”

“I grew a beard.”

Thom feels his forehead crinkle as his confusion deepens. Grew a beard…? Well then, without it, he’d look like…

“Cole?” Thom realizes with a gasp. The strange man’s answering smile confirms it. Thom laughs, a warm sound from deep in his belly, and squashes the smaller man against his breastplate in a firm hug. He releases him a moment later, but not entirely. Thom holds him at arms length a moment, examining him, then lets go his arms. Before Cole can step back, his fingers dart up and tug at one side of Cole’s beard, a gesture met with a startled “ouch!”

“Maker’s balls,” Thom chuckles. “So you did.”

Rough drafts, my art skills haven't improved lol. The first is a bell prototype I'm gonna make, second was the first page of stuff I made, 3rd is the full body rear face, 4th is the better mask design, skirt, tail, etc, last one is of the front facing cape/cloak, @yaelokre I hope you're ready for a whole fit in like. 6 months lmao.

His name is Token, he's the Songbird, someone who flits around the forest dancing but never singing, playing but never being heard, he plays the recorder/pan flute, haven't decided, to his little grove of flowers and fruits. He's loud, friendly, if overly so, and always willing to dance to a warble or offer a sprig to chew (or toke). More details will be flushed out eventually, once the project gets "started"

His name is Token because he likes to gather his namesake of affection, bells, trinkets, flowers, little crafts he makes out of sticks and feathers. Every time he meets someone new he gives them one of his handmade trinkets, as a token of affection and friendship. the problem is once he runs out of trinkets he makes new ones. out of anything. so you might get a bell, a few feathers, a chain, a pine needle basket, pinecone necklace (caution may have sap), a fistful of grass. you get it.

mARTch Day 3: Strengths/Weaknesses

I saw your ask. I grade English papers and it’s very obvious if you use chatgpt. I saw the comments on that fic before she deleted them and saw ss on a private jjk discord because this was a problem in many fandoms with people using ai to write fics and it was just straight up copying other people’s work on ao3. She even left in something like “here’s your rewritten version with better flow” in her chapter before she edited it, and Nobara was written as Alex or something. She copy pasted the same paragraph a few times in different ways with switched styles, and they all had the same starting phrases and descriptions of scenery and smell that chatgpt commonly uses, also the structure. The punctuation with the dashes are very obvious and someone checked it and got the same style. Someone also put her work in a plagiarism generator from a college grading system and it showed highlighted parts that were ai generated. She kept lying and fighting, blocking people who warned her to post original work but didn’t admit to it and that’s why it was so bad. 

yikes 😬 i went through their comment section since some of mutuals also talked about, (how do i say this) weirdly written the story was and could only find "previous comment deleted" ones (with some additional other's asking her whether she used AI or not that she hasn't answered/deleted yet) and it's like how u said, they seem to either delete, or get defensive whenever someone mentions/asks them if they use AI to write their story.

i don't know if anon will see my answer on their tl but if you do, I'd like to see some of the screenshoots (if there are any on the jjk private discord or an old screenshot of the story's chapter) if you don't mind of course!
