UNDERSTANDING ISRAEL: PART 1 THE IMPORTANCE OF ISRAEL, BY TRUTHUNEDITED
youtube
History Time.
I'm not saying I'm completely there yet on some of his personal views, but the historical research done by this channel is unparalleled. This is part of a series, of approximately 9 videos (One of controversy, available on the channel's website)
Up to individuals if they want to watch the entire series. I recommend it. But get ready, because we have all been lied to, in the most abominable way.

Sometimes I wonder how many times Soap has taken the fall for something someone else did. How many times has he stopped Gaz from defending him. How many times has he lied to Ghost or Price to save someone else the grief. how many times has he cleaned up spilled milk, and gushing blood. how many altered commands has he made to watcher. how many times has Price gotten mad about missing a target because of a bad call, how many of those times were not soap, how many times has he gotten yelled at for it anyway? How many times has someone taken advantage of this?
does gaz try to stop it? how many times has soap taken the fall for gaz. how many times has soap reasoned it was his fault. how hard does gaz try to stop him. does soap talk over him to keep the blame on himself? Does he even know? Just grateful to not be in trouble?
Does price see? Does price try to take it easier on him? Is price even allowed to not do anything about it, but to take his word at face value? Does price feel abd about it? Does price even know about it? Happy to just have an obvious, reliable cause when something goes wrong?
does ghost see it? does ghost ask why? or does he not even notice it? does he have to ask soap if he's telling the truth? does soap still lie about it? does ghost only catch it when he's been wearing soap down for hours and he finally slips up? Does he see the preemptive cushions soap puts down incase ghost ever makes a "bad" call? Do they fight about it? Does ghost even know about it? Too agitated to even see?
Does anyone even know about it? Why does he do it? Why does he hide it? What is the end goal? Is it damage control? Is it self-destruction? Or is it something else?

Why are you so angry toward Tony? Why do you call him names? If you honestly believe Sam and Cait are together, Tony is a non-issue. The only reason to be offended is if you want Sam and Cait to together, but you know she is with Tony, abd you feel he is between them. Your anger and rudeness the man shows you know the truth of their marriage, family and your bitterness she didn't choose Sam as a mate.
Dear Calling Names Anon,
I am not the one being angry, here: you are. You are so angry, in fact, that in your haste to hopefully bash me, you typed 'abd' instead of 'and' (also because you are on your phone) and you ate both a verb (if you want Sam and Cait to be together) and a preposition ( 'anger and rudeness towards the man'). Both lapsus calami (that's 'slip of the pen', for you) are very telling - mais, passons (that's French, for you: I know it pisses you off and I am so glad it does, every single time!).
I have read so many times the glorious POS you dutifully copied and pasted in that Anon box, that this time I knew I had to answer you, once and for all. You and the one who wrote this down first and then you all dutifully followed - no critical skills and never did have any.
I am not angry toward McIdiot. I am derisive and dismissive of the very lucrative part he agreed to play in that 🎪. As is, he is still a social zero and nowhere to be seen, unless she brings him along, but only at events where she knows virtually no one. No matter how hard you try to present him in an extravagant light, his real situation is well known, based on public records. Conversely, you are angry and contemptuous towards S, who has his own businesses and takes risks and makes a thousand mistakes. But who, unlike your hero here, is alive. McIdiot, that character paraded in front of us, comes across as a profiteer. Maybe McGill is a nice person. Maybe he is friends with C. McIdiot, the part he's been given in this shitshow, is anything but nice, interesting or attractive.
I call him McIdiot, that is true. You lie all day long about S, spreading lies and calumnies and innuendoes that cost him a LOT in the past. What you did had consequences IRL. Yes, you and your little harmless coterie, including its 455 Twitter and Tumblr sock accounts. You knowingly hurt someone who did absolutely nothing to you and 'rude' doesn't even start to describe your reckless attitude. What moral right have you to come here and give me lessons? That's rich, coming from people who repeatedly called me a liar, an idiot, assured their flock I was several other persons. Same people who, overall, take a sick, cheap pleasure of calling shippers either 'worms' or 'the mental ward'. So what the hell did you expect, coming here? A fucking welcoming committee? A potluck of revelations?
I do not want S&C to be together. I know S&C are together. You know it, too: otherwise you wouldn't be here screeching like a maniac in front of a closed door. You then proceed to assume knowing what I think and lecture me about what I should be thinking, instead: a very poor rhetorical strategy, indeed and a sure sign of confusion. For your information, McIdiot's absurdity will always be an issue, irrespective of their real status. And you are correct: I know a fairly consistent part of the truth about her 'family' and 'marriage'. What irks you is that I chose not to discuss many things I know in here and certainly not with you. You see, I have a personal policy, Anon: I don't share secrets with cowards. Ever.
You make me think of these harmless fools standing in the rain in Hyde Park's Speakers' Corner, who preach the imminent end of the world in front of an empty alley, Anon. Better go home: maybe Moo will make you a cuppa, once you get there.

Imagine Izuku, hurting and sore, being welcomed by their big siblings. By Hizashi and their husband Shouta (mortal? Demigod?) who make a room just for Izuku. By Snipe who takes what small amount of skill with weapons Izuku has to hone and hone until that slight advantage becomes stronger. Hawks who broke out of a facility designed to keep him docile and burned it to the ground with a smile and a pyro on one arm who then took down thr former number two hero with a snarl.
Izuku whose mind is to fast. Who sees to much abd saw the way Inko looked past. Saw her ignore the truth for her own comfort. (Katsuki and Izuku are best friends like her and Mitsuki. Izuku is just clumsy. Shes a good mom. She never cheated. Izuku is just a normal child. There is nothing special) Izuku who reaches out and the others reach back.
Izuku can’t lie.
They never have been able to. The words burn on their tongue and ache coming out, but the truth is dangerous and often not what adults want to hear so they learn to talk around it. To weave half truths that don’t hurt but still are what people want to know. They learn to talk about villains rather than monsters (and really isn’t a monster just a villain at the end of the day?) they learn to speak about chance rather than foresight (a hundred percent chance is still a chance in a technical sense) they learn to show internet rather than speak about the burning need for knowledge that could consume them if they let it (they are interested, of course, but interest is such a light thing compared to the need that screams through them.)
They can’t lie, but they can always tell when someone is lying.
Their mom is the worst liar, they think. She lies to Izuku, telling them she loves them and wouldn’t anything for them; she lies to others, telling them that the bruises and burns are just because Izuku is clumsy and an adventurous child; she lies to herself, telling sweet little lies about how Katsuki is Izuku’s friend and he will make a great hero one day while Izuku… well Izuku will find something better suited she’s sure.
She’s a liar.
Izuku wishes they could just hate her. Wishes that each lie didn’t ache as badly as the first one. Wishes so many things that never come true even with all of the flashes of the future they see.
At least, not until one of their flashes leads them to their siblings, the older children of Apollo that recognize Izuku just as easily as Izuku recognizes them.
There’s no lie in any of their words when they tell Izuku they want them to be safe. That they are Izuku’s family. That they care. No lies when Hizashi tells them they see the monsters too. No lies when Keigo says their glimpses of the future are cool. No lies when Snipe promises that they can be just as strong of a fighter as they are a scholar with a bit of practice. Not even a lie when Shouta (Hizashi’s husband and apparently a son of Hermes, which wouldn’t have been Izuku’s first guess but they are burning to know about their gifts and if the rumors go a lock sensing and disabling ability is true) tells them that they can stay with him and Hizashi for as long as they want.
Sitting in the living room with their siblings bickering back and forth while Hizashi heals them (that rumbling is so soothing. Like a cat’s. Didn’t they read something about purring being able to heal? Was this connected to Voice or their father. Were they both from their father ? Were quirks just godly gifts watered down through the years were—) Izuku can see what the future holds. Dozens of little flashes playing out in seconds.
Laughing into a karaoke microphone while Hizashi pulls some ridiculous dance move. Keigo scooping them up for a flight because “every child of Apollo should get to race the sun!” Steady hands cruising their own as they pull back a bowstring, letting their fingers roll off so the arrow thuds dead center of the target. A laughing man they can’t quite see against the sun lighting him from behind with calloused hands so warm it’s like pure sunlight cupping their cheek.
A hero costume in green and black with a little yellow lyre stitched in where most wouldn’t see. A sun that matched three other costumes that had them all clever hidden.
Izuku sees it all, hears no lies, and reaches out.

epistemic status: i wish this weren’t true but can’t see how it isn’t, more emotive than analytic
The western response to Putin’s annexation speech is fucking with me simply bc, afaict, setting aside the topic of the annexation itself, the speech is 95% true and pertinent and damning and the press (and others I would expect better from) is reacting to it like it’s a bunch of borderline psychotic word salad or a form of verbal terrorism or both at once
You have the guardian describing it as the rambling screed of an angry taxi driver, but idk, having read the actual text I think it has a pretty clear and straightforwardly argued thesis: US military and financial hegemony is just the latest phase in a continuous 500yr-long history of western international subjugation and terror and vassalage, which western elites look upon as their very life and will fight to the last of their subjects to preserve, while Russia will refuse to be cowed. And the core claim here about western hegemony is absolutely correct! He’s just right! Right, and damning
Tumblr media
I mean, yes! I, too, would like to see some of these rules! I think these are some reasonable points! (“Well, but he’s a hypocrite! He started the war!” Ok, who is whatabouting now?)
No two moments of the speech have attracted more attention than the “barely concealed nuclear threat” and the concluding batshit remarks about gender and sexuality. Let’s look at those in turn shall we?
Putin does, indeed, state outright that the US has set a nuclear precedent, but look at the context:
Tumblr media
Is there some whataboutism going on here? Sure. Does it carry some implication of willingness to escalate? Yea ig. But what could any hs students scoring above the 50th centile on the reading comprehension portion of the ACT divine as the clear overall message being argued here? That the US abd its allies since WWII have demonstrated a total unrenounced and gratuitous disregard for innocent human life in the course of subjugating their enemies and lording over their “friends.” And it’s fucking true!! Mass murder has been the calling card of US interventionism for the last sixty some years, and all in the service of a network of vassal states it cynically presents to the world as its peers and allies! Any threat of aggression here is secondary to the correct and utterly pertinent analysis of American global rule being decried!
And finally he does end the speech by dredging up homophobic panic about the end of traditional families and gender roles that could have well been copypasted from one of the more articulate screeds on /pol/. Ofc this is stupid. But what, to be even-handed, is the unspoken claim of the media reports harping on this globohomo fearmongering despite its occupying a tiny overall fraction of the text itself? What is the obvious implication of fixating on putins nationalist fag-hatred in the midst of characterising his speech denouncing American world domination as the conspiratorial ravings of a lunatic? That the evil he is castigating, the international system of unilateral military and economic terror on the part of Washington and her friends, is the true guarantor of queer liberation. And if putins bigotry is revolting this cynical pinkwashed apologia in return has to come close
None of this, ofc, excuses the annexations or legitimises the phony electoral veneer, let alone the invasion itself. But my God! Truly this makes me understand where the tankies are coming from!! It’s one thing to decry the act, another to suggest this speech is anything worse than a litany of truths in the service of a lie! But these swine, these vampires, these bloodthirsty warmongering brutes are so totally accustomed to the presupposition of their own common sensicality and so inured to criticism they cannot perceive a list of fair charges against them for what anyone with eyes to see can readily acknowledge it in fact is

My home
Synopsis: you convince the doctor to spend a day with you on earth. You didn't however plan to run into your mother.
Warnings: homophobia
I needed a comforting 13 fic after loosing her :(
Tumblr media
"Come on doctor. Its fun i promise!" I had been begging her for the past ten minutes. All I wanted was to go shopping. On earth, I might add.
"We can get cake?" Perking up, the blonde pulled down a lever which sent the ship spiralling. Finally, always the sweet tooth. Throwing on my hoodie, I allowed the doctor to grab my hand and pull me out of the tardis. Definitely earth, definitely England and definitely Manchester. Home. Which meant, shopping centre. Seeing as she'd never been here before, I dragged her along until we came to the main part of town. It was busy, like usual. I had missed this honestly. Sure, the universe was amazing. But, sometimes, you need home comforts to recharge.
For an hour, we weaved in and out of shops. Buying things and judging the latest fashion trends. The doctor, having her own unique style, wasn't a fan of much but I made sure to but what she did. Not because I wanted her attention or anything. Definitely not. Not at all. Anyway, heading up to the second floor of the shopping centre, I paused for a moment. We had been walking for a while and my arms hurt from the bags.
"Are you tired, love?" Gosh, did she have to call me such cute names? It made me blush every time.
"A little. How about we go get cake now? There's a-"
"(Y/n)?" Freezing up, I felt my heart stop and my blood run cold. Turning round, I came face to face with my mother. Feigning a smile, I shifted awkwardly and I could tell the doctor was confused.
"Hey." There was a wave of nervousness in my voice as my mum furrowed her brows.
"You've been gone for six months abd all you say is hi? Where the hell were you?" Swallowing thickly, I began playing with my fingers.
"Travelling." Whilst that wasn't exactly a lie, she knew something was up.
"What? Where? With who?" Before I could respond, i felt the doctor arm slip round my shoulders.
"With me." My mother took a step back, a look of confliction on her face.
"And who are you?"
"I'm the doctor, its nice to meet you." Holding her hand out, i cringed as my mum rejected it. Straightening out her jacket, mother turned her nose up slightly. This wasn't going to end well.
"You've been gone for six months, travelling with a woman? What is she to you?" Turning red, I stuttered over my words as I couldn't find the strength to tell the truth. She wad just a friend. That's all she'd ever be.
"Because if this woman has romantic intentions. You will be going back to that camp." My face drained and I swear I felt my hands go numb. The thought of going back there terrified me. The doctors arm moved to hold my waist, pulling me against her side securely.
"I'm sorry? What camp is this then?" Tears built up in my eyes, my head cast downwards.
"Because I really hope you're talking about dummer camp right now." She was angry, I could tell.
"Of course not. Straight camp. If you've corrupted my daughter I will have her fixed." The blonde went silent from shock. Maybe she'd never heard anyone talk like this? After all, her species were thousands of years ahead of our own. It wouldn't surprise me.
"Theres nothing to fix here apart from your disgusting attitude." My head shot up and I saw the Astonishment on my mothers features.
"What if I love your daughter? There's nothing that needs fixing." Looking over to me, my mum almost looked depressed.
"You love this woman?" Maybe the doctor would think I was just playing along with her. As far as I was aware, she didn't actually love me.
"Yes. Yes I do." Clearly disgusted, it took a moment to register that she was getting closer to us.
"You're such a disappointment (y/n). You always have been." Getting worked up, I stepped forward completely exasperated.
"Me? What about you? All you've ever done is look down on me! You were never there for me! I have been alone my entire life because of you. You're the worst mother I c-" a sharp pain spread through my cheek and I heard the doctor gasp. She had slapped me. All at once, everything hit me and I felt my knees go weak. Luckily, the doctor caught me before I hit the ground.
"Say goodbye to your daughter, because you won't be seeing her again." Picking me up effortlessly, I buried my face into her shoulder out of embarrassment.
"You can't take her away from me!" Chuckling, the doc tilted her head patronisingly.
"Watch me."
Of course, we headed back to the tardis immediately. The day was now ruined and it was all my fault. Like usual. Sitting me down on the steps, the doctor set her ship going, floating out into space. Putting my head in my hands, I sniffled quietly.
"Hey, it's okay now." Coming to sit next to me, the blonde rested her hand on my back.
"I always ruin everything."
"That was not your fault. Okay?" Giving her a doubtful look, she sighed and brought me into her embrace.
"Why didn't you tell me?" Resting my head on her chest, I listened to her heartbeats and relaxed a little.
"I didn't think it was important." Her fingers ran through my hair slowly.
"What did they do to you, love?" Ignoring my blush, I cleared my throat and thought back over my time there.
"Every day was the same. Wake up. No food. They'd sit us down and force us to watch these dystopian skits. Of straight couples. Of normal people." Taking a deep breath, I looked up to meet her golden eyes and smiled weakly.
"If we refused the programing, they'd electrocute us. Or deprive us of sleep and water." The doctor cupped my cheek, running her thumb along it softly.
"Your mother did that to you?" Nodding at her question, the doctor pressed her lips together to supress her anger.
"She's threatened to send me back twice now. Just now and the last time I went home." Telling her this, I laughed half heartedly abd rubbed my eyes.
"Why did she the first time?" The doctor asked, keeping me in her hold securely. It was warm and safe this close to her. If I slipped away, everything would collapse around me. That's how it was in my head anyway. Her question scared me though. Because, if I was honest, I could ruin anything. Then again, I hated lying to her.
"Because I kept talking about you." I admitted, digging my nails into my palms out if reflex.
"I kept talking about the pretty blonde girl who I saw every day. Who I lived with. The one who stays up all night watching movies with me. The person I..." Trailing off, I swallowed down those thoughts about shook my head.
"The person you what?" Of course, the doctor was ever persistent. Needing to know everything to see if she could help. Lip wobbling, I gazed at her with a sad smile.
"The person I love." Realisation set in on her face slowly but I was quick to keep talking. To try and distract from that point.
"Of course she thought I was lying. Told me to stop making stuff up or I'd be sent back to camp." It was hard to speak as tears were forcing there way out and I had started shaking.
"(Y/n)..." Ignoring her, I sniffed harshly and looked away.
"But its fine. Can't go home. Can't stay here b-"
"(Y/n)!" Fliching from her sudden yell, the doctor turned me towards her and smiled reassuringly.
"Take a breath." Doing as she said, I breathed out and bit down on my lip to stop the crying.
"Why can't you stay here?" Confused by her question, I looked at her as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. Which it was. Wasn't it?
"I just told you, I love you. Its embarrassing to be around when it's unrequited." There was a pause before I heard laughter. The doctor was laughing. Why was she laughing?
"Oh love, I told you out there didn't I?" Shrugging my shoulders put of confusion, the elder stroked my cheek lovingly.
"I told your mother. So what if I loved you?" Sitting myself up properly, I stared at her in awe. Surely not?
"You were just..."
"Being honest." She finished off for me, scooting closer subtly. My eyes flicked between hers and then to her lips. She was doing the same. Grabbing her braces, I pulled her in and pressed my lips against hers. Without hesitation, she kissed back, arms encircling my waist. Carefully, she moved me onto her lap, not breaking the kiss for a moment. Her hand climbed up my thigh causing me to gasp in surprise. Taking the chance, she deepened the kiss and pressed her tongue against my own. My lungs were screaming at me for air and I wad left breathless as the doctor finally pulled away.
"Better?" Giggling slightly, I felt myself grow shy and look down to the floor.
"Much better." Without warning, she stood up and hoisted me to my feet.
"Come on. Let's get you cosy. I know that's what you want."
Sitting myself in the king sized bed, I immediately felt all my bones relaxing. The duvet was so thick and warm, the pillows extra fluffy. Not to mention the fuzzy blanket. Perfect. Well, almost. The doctor walked in and climbed in beside me. It was still strange to see her in anything other than her usual attire. But she looked really cute like this. Opening my arms, she looked at me confused.
"Can't I hold you doctor?" She looked shocked at my request but soon sank into my hold. Her head rested on my chest and her arm draped over my waist. I couldn't help but nuzzled my face into her hair. I had dreams like this, but they were never this pleasant.
"What movie are you putting on?" She asked, making no effort to move at all. Chuckling, I ran my fingers through her hair before kissing her head.
"I'm not sure, any requests?" Looking down at the doctor, I could tell she was tired. Though, she'd never admit it of course. Feeling like, just because she was a timelord, she didn't have to bother with any of that stuff. But, of course, it was obvious.
"Something quiet. Easy." Deciding to just put any random film on, I settled down and brought her flush against me. I could hear the doctors breathing even out, telling me she was asleep. Feeling proud that she actually felt secure enough to fall asleep around me, I smiled and allowed my eyes to close. Maybe our relationship was strange, risky almost. That didn't matter, all that mattered was the here and now. Because she was my home.

Hi! I just wanted to reach out to share some truth and some 'fun facts' with you🥰🥰 You'll probably ignore this, and that's fine. Just thought I'll share this with you, have a blessed day! 🤗🤗
"Your wives are a place of sowing of seed for you, so come to your place of cultivation however you wish and put forth [righteousness] for yourselves. And fear Allah and know that you will meet Him. And give good tidings to the believers." - Quran 2:223
This verse suggests that marital rape is deemed acceptable.
"Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: By Him in Whose Hand is my life, when a man calls his wife to his bed, and she does not respond, the One Who is in the heaven is displeased with her until he (her husband) is pleased with her.
Abu Huraira (Allah he pleased with him) reported Allah's Messenger (may, peace be upon him) as saying: When a man invites his wife to his bed and she does not come, and he (the husband) spends the sight being angry with her, the angels curse her until morning." - Sahih Muslim, Book 8, Number 3367 & 3368
"Abu Sirma said to Abu Sa’id al Khadri (Allah he pleased with him): O Abu Sa’id, did you hear Allah’s Messenger (May peace be upon him) mentioning al-‘azl? He said: Yes, and added: We went out with Allah’s Messenger (May peace be upon him) on the expedition to the Bi’l-Mustaliq and took captive some excellent Arab women; and we desired them, for we were suffering from the absence of our wives, (but at the same time) we also desired ransom for them. So we decided to have sexual intercourse with them but by observing ‘azl (Withdrawing the male sexual organ before emission of semen to avoid conception). But we said: We are doing an act whereas Allah’s Messenger is amongst us; why not ask him? So we asked Allah’s Messenger (May peace be upon him), and he said: It does not matter if you do not do it, for every soul that is to be born up to the Day of Resurrection will be born." - Sahih Muslim Book 8, Hadith Number 3371.
"And also forbidden to you are all married women (muhsanat) except those women whom your right hands have come to possess (as a result of war)." - Quran 4:24
This verse suggests that it's deemed acceptable to rape your captives of war.
"Those [women] whose nushuz you fear, admonish them, and abandon them in bed, and strike them. If they obey you, do not pursue a strategy against them. Indeed, God is Exalted, Great." - An-Nisa 34
"So when you meet those who disbelieve [in battle], strike [their] necks until, when you have inflicted slaughter upon them, then secure their bonds, and either [confer] favor afterwards or ransom [them] until the war lays down its burdens. That [is the command]. And if Allah had willed, He could have taken vengeance upon them [Himself], but [He ordered armed struggle] to test some of you by means of others. And those who are killed in the cause of Allah - never will He waste their deeds." - Surah 47:4
"Humaid b. ‘Abd al-Rahman b. ‘Auf reported that his mother Umm Kulthum daughter of ‘Uqba b. Abu Mu’ait, and she was one amongst the first emigrants who pledged allegiance to Allah’s Apostle (may peace be upon him), as saying that she heard Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: A liar is not one who tries to bring reconciliation amongst people and speaks good (in order to avert dispute), or he conveys good. Ibn Shihab said he did not hear that exemption was granted in anything what the people speak as lie but in three cases: in battle, for bringing reconciliation amongst persons and the narration of the words of the husband to his wife, and the narration of the words of a wife to her husband (in a twisted form in order to bring reconciliation between them)." - Sahih Muslim Book 32, Hadith Number 6303.
This verse suggests that it's okay to lie to you spouse (which may allude that it's okay to be deceitful with infidelity).
all of this same shit is in the bible, if not worse, so hopefully you are showing up in the christians inboxes to say this same islamophobic bullshit to them 🥰🥰
1 timothy 2:12 — i do not permit a woman to teach or have authority over a man, she must be silent.
1 samuel 15:3 — now go and strike amalek and devote to destruction all that they have. do not spare them, but kill both man and woman, child and infant, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.
psalm 137:9 — happy is he who repays you for what you have done to us / he who seizes your infants and dashes them against the rocks.
ephesians 5:22 — wives, submit to your husbands as to the lord.
genesis 22:2 — take your son, your only son isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of moriah, and offer him there as a burnt-offering on one of the mountains that i shall show you.
1 peter 2:18 — slaves, submit yourselves to your masters with all respect, not only to the good and gentle but also to the cruel.
exodus 21:20-21 — when a man strikes his slave, male or female, with a rod and the slave dies under his hand, he shall be avenged. / but if the slave survives a day or two, he is not to be avenged, for the slave is his money.
deuteronomy 20:10-14 — as you approach a town to attack it, first offer its people terms for peace. if they accept your terms and open the gates to you, then all the people inside will serve you in forced labor. but if they refuse to make peace and prepare to fight, you must attack the town. when the lord your god hands it over to you, kill every man in the town. but you may keep for yourselves all the women, children, livestock, and other plunder. you may enjoy the spoils of your enemies that the lord your god has given you.
deuteronomy 22:28-29 — if a man is caught in the act of raping a young woman who is not engaged, he must pay fifty pieces of silver to her father. then he must marry the young woman because he violated her, and he will never be allowed to divorce her.
deuteronomy 22:23-24 — if within the city a man comes upon a maiden who is betrothed, and has relations with her, you shall bring them both out of the gate of the city and there stone them to death: the girl because she did not cry out for help though she was in the city, and the man because he violated his neighbors wife.
numbers 31 — moses, eleazar the priest, and all the leaders of the people went to meet them outside the camp. but moses was furious with all the military commanders who had returned from the battle. “why have you let all the women live?” he demanded. “these are the very ones who followed balaam’s advice and caused the people of israel to rebel against the lord at mount peor. they are the ones who caused the plague to strike the lord’s people. now kill all the boys and all the women who have slept with a man. only the young girls who are virgins may live; you may keep them for yourselves.”

You may remember Abu Lahab as Muhammad's uncle who said:
"Muhammad is my nephew and I know him better than anyone and he is a liar so do not believe him."
Abu Lahab is one of the few explicitly named people in the quran. Surah al-Masad, aka Surah al-Lahab (surah 111) is only five ayahs long, but is entirely about him.
https://quranx.com/111.1-5
May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he. His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained. He will [enter to] burn in a Fire of [blazing] flame And his wife [as well] - the carrier of firewood. Around her neck is a rope of [twisted] fiber.
You may wonder how this came about.
https://quranx.com/Hadith/Bukhari/USC-MSA/Volume-6/Book-60/Hadith-293/
Narrated Ibn `Abbas: When the Verse:--'And warn your tribe of near-kindred, was revealed, the Prophet (ﷺ) ascended the Safa (mountain) and started calling, "O Bani Fihr! O Bani `Adi!" addressing various tribes of Quraish till they were assembled. Those who could not come themselves, sent their messengers to see what was there. Abu Lahab and other people from Quraish came and the Prophet (ﷺ) then said, "Suppose I told you that there is an (enemy) cavalry in the valley intending to attack you, would you believe me?" They said, "Yes, for we have not found you telling anything other than the truth." He then said, "I am a warner to you in face of a terrific punishment." Abu Lahab said (to the Prophet) "May your hands perish all this day. Is it for this purpose you have gathered us?" Then it was revealed: "Perish the hands of Abu Lahab (one of the Prophet's uncles), and perish he! His wealth and his children will not profit him...." (111.1-5)
https://quranx.com/Hadith/Bukhari/USC-MSA/Volume-6/Book-60/Hadith-325/
Narrated Ibn `Abbas: One day the Prophet (ﷺ) ascended Safa mountain and said, "Oh Sabah! " All the Quraish gathered round him and said, "What is the matter?" He said, Look, if I told you that an enemy is going to attack you in the morning or in the evening, would you not believe me?" They said, "Yes, we will believe you." He said, "I am a warner to you in face of a terrible punishment." On that Abu Lahab said, "May you perish ! Is it for this thing that you have gathered us?" So Allah revealed: 'Perish the hands of Abu Lahab!...' (111.1)
https://quranx.com/Hadith/Bukhari/USC-MSA/Volume-2/Book-23/Hadith-477/
Narrated Ibn `Abbas.: Abu Lahab, may Allah curse him, once said to the Prophet (p.b.u.h), "Perish you all the day." Then the Divine Inspiration came: "Perish the hands of Abi Lahab! And perish he!" (111.1).
shttps://quranx.com/Hadith/Bukhari/USC-MSA/Volume-6/Book-60/Hadith-495/
Narrated Ibn `Abbas: When the Verse:-- 'And warn your tribe of near kindred.' (26.214) was revealed. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) went out, and when he had ascended As-Safa mountain, he shouted, "O Sabahah!" The people said, "Who is that?" "Then they gathered around him, whereupon he said, "Do you see? If I inform you that cavalrymen are proceeding up the side of this mountain, will you believe me?" They said, "We have never heard you telling a lie." Then he said, "I am a plain warner to you of a coming severe punishment." Abu Lahab said, "May you perish! You gathered us only for this reason?" Then Abu Lahab went away. So the "Surat:--ul--LAHAB" 'Perish the hands of Abu Lahab!' (111.1) was revealed.
https://quranx.com/Hadith/Muslim/USC-MSA/Book-1/Hadith-406
It is reported on the authority of Ibn 'Abbas that when this verse was revealed: " And warn thy nearest kindred" (and thy group of selected people among them) the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) set off till he climbed Safa' and called loudly: Be on your guard! They said: Who is it calling aloud? They said: Muhammad. They gathered round him, and he said: O sons of so and so, O sons of so and so, O sons of 'Abd Manaf, O sons of 'Abd al-Muttalib, and they gathered around him. He (the Apostle) said: If I were to inform you that there were horsemen emerging out of the foot of this mountain, would you believe me? They said: We have not experienced any lie from you. He said: Well, I am a warner to you before a severe torment. He (the narrator) said that Abu Lahab then said: Destruction to you! Is it for this you have gathered us? He (the Holy Prophet) then stood up, and this verse was revealed:" Perish the hands of Abu Lahab, and he indeed perished" (cxi. 1). A'mash recited this to the end of the Sura.
This is "I'm rubber and you're glue..." Or perhaps the world's first diss track. Allah even gets in a dig about Lahab's wife being a former slave.
Don't forget though, that Islamic mythology insists that the quran is not being authored by Allah. It always existed, "uncreated," alongside Allah. So Muslims are obliged to believe that Surah al-Lahab existed before the universe itself existed.
Apparently Allah wasn't smart enough to warn Muhammad to steer clear of Lahab, who would make him look stupid. Nor was Allah even the more mature one, taking the high road and telling Muhammad that it doesn't matter what one minor human says about the prophet of the master and creator of the entire universe.
Things become more interesting and make much more sense given that Muhammad had been hoping Lahab, who was quite wealthy and influential, would fund and endorse his dawah, his mission to spread Islam and convert people. Suddenly this surah makes much more sense.
This is all just out there in the open. It's not a secret or forbidden knowledge. You're supposed to look at this and think, wow, Allah sure is great and wise.

Oh for God's sake. Teruteru betrayed you because he wanted to go home to his mom. Fuyuhiko and Peko betrayed you to avenge an already avenged girl. Nagito betrayed you because he discovered that he and all of you were terrorists that ruined the world. Snapping so badly that he tortured himself to death out of guilt. And all you can focus on is the fact that he was mean. Don't pretend you would have handled things better in his position, when unlike you he was alone when he discovered the truth.
Tumblr media
Don’t do that. Don’t fucking do that!
Tumblr media
Let me start off by saying that, I understand Nagito to extent in that regard. If I had learned that we were all terrorists, I’d be pretty wary and suspicious of them too. Even myself! Maybe I would have doubted it and assumed it was a lie set up by Monokuma, but still pretty skeptical about those guys. But here’s the big ol’ difference my AI friend.
Tumblr media
I WOULDNT HAVE TRIED TO KILL US!!!
Tumblr media
Never, ever, EVER, would that option cross my mind! It would be the last, last, last, last, last, last, LAST, option!
Tumblr media
And I certainly would never berate those guys either! Nagito felt betrayed by his dumb ideology that Reserve Course students like myself weren’t worth the air we breathe, or that the simple mistake of being brainwashed was enough for him to see everyone else as worthless. That is the difference!
Tumblr media
Ugh! Forget it! I’m not going to think about this anymore. Leave me alone abd stop irking me already!

The Messenger of God: Muhammad: Part 119
Factors in their Greatness: Part 4
Some claim that Imam Abu Hanifa said: "I don't take the opinions of three Companions as evidence in jurisprudence. Abu Hurayra is one of them." This is simply a lie. Allama Ibn Humam, one of the greatest Hanafi jurists, regarded Abu Hurayra as a significant jurist. Besides, there is nothing to prove that Abu Hanifa said that.
Abu Hurayra narrated more than 5,000 Traditions. When gathered together, they make perhaps a volume 1.5 times as long as the Qur'an. Many people have memorized the Qur'an in 6 months or even quicker. Abu Hurayra had a very keen memory and spent 4 years with the Messenger, who prayed for the strength of Abu Hurayra's memory. It would be tantamount to accusing Abu Hurayra of deficient intelligence to claim that he could not have memorized so many Traditions. In addition, all of the Traditions he narrated were not directly from the Messenger. As leading Companions like Abu Bakr, 'Umar, Ubayy ibn Ka'b, 'A'isha, and Abu Ayyub al-Ansari narrated from him, he also received Traditions from them.
While Abu Hurayra was narrating Traditions in the presence of Marwan ibn Hakam at different times, the latter had his secretary record them written secretly. Some time later, he asked Abu Hurayra to repeat the Traditions he had narrated to him earlier. Abu Hurayra began: "In the name of God, the All-Merciful, the All-Compassionate," and narrated the same Traditions with exactly the same wording. So, there is no reason to criticize him for narrating so many Prophetic Traditions.
'Abd Allah Ibn 'Abbas was born 4 or 5 years before the Hijra. He had a keen intelligence and memory, and was an inspired man. The Messenger prayed for him: "O God, make him perceptive and well-versed in the religion, and teach him the hidden truths of the Qur'an." During his lifetime, he came to be known as "The Great Scholar of the Umma," "the Sea" (One Very Profound in Knowledge), or "The Translator (Clarifier) of the Qur'an."
He was a very handsome, tall man endowed with great eloquence. His memory was such that he memorized an 80-couplet poem by 'Amr ibn Rabi'a at one reading. Besides his profound knowledge of Qur'anic interpretation, Tradition, and jurisprudence, he also was well-versed in literature, particularly in pre-Islamic poetry. In his Tafsir, Ibn Jarir al-Tabari relates either a couplet or verse from him in connection with the interpretation of almost each Qur'anic verse.
He was greatly loved by the Companions.
Despite his youth, 'Umar appointed him to his Advisory Council, which consisted of elder Companions. When asked why he had done this, 'Umar tested their level of understanding of the Qur'an. He asked them to explain: When comes the help of God, and victory, and you see men entering God's religion in throngs, then proclaim the praise of Your Master, and seek His forgiveness; for He is Oft-Returning [in grace and mercy] (110:1-3). The elders answered: "It orders the Prophet to praise God and seek His forgiveness when he sees people entering Islam in throngs after the help of God and victory came." 'Umar was not satisfied, and so asked Ibn 'Abbas the same question. He replied: "This sura implies that the death of the Messenger is near, for when people enter Islam in throngs, it means that the mission of Messengership has ended." 'Umar turned to the council and explained: "That's why I include him among you."
Ibn 'Abbas was famous for his deep insight, profound learning, keen memory, high intelligence, perceptiveness, and modesty. When he entered a gathering place, people would stand in respect for him. This made him so uncomfortable that he told them: "Please, for the sake of the help and shelter (you gave the Prophet and the Emigrants), don't stand for me!" Although one of the most knowledgeable Muslims, he showed great respect to scholars. For example, he helped Zayd ibn Thabit mount his horse by holding the stirrup steady and explained: "We have been told to behave like this toward our scholars." In return, Zayd kissed his hand without his approval and remarked: "We have been told to behave like this toward the Messenger's relatives."
As noted above, Ibn 'Abbas did not like people to stand for him to show respect. However, when he was buried, something occurred that was as if the dead had stood in respect for him and the spirit beings welcomed him. A voice was heard from beneath the grave: O soul at peace! Return unto your Master, well-pleased, well-pleasing! Enter among My servants! Enter my Paradise! (89:27-30).
Ibn 'Abbas brought up many scholars in every branch of religious knowledge. The Makkan school of jurisprudence was founded by him. Such leading Tabi'un scholars as Sa'id ibn Jubayr, Mujahid ibn Jabr, and Ikrima acknowledged: "Ibn 'Abbas taught us whatever we know." He narrated about 1,600 Traditions.
'Abd Allah Ibn 'Umar was the only one of 'Umar's nine sons to be called Ibn 'Umar (the son of 'Umar). This shows that he had greater worth to be called 'Umar's son or to be mentioned with the name of 'Umar. Although 'Umar is the second greatest Companion, 'Abd Allah may be regarded superior in knowledge, piety, worship, and devotion to the Sunna. His care in following the Prophet's example was such that Nafi', Imam Malik's tutor, narrates: "While we were descending 'Arafat, Ibn 'Umar entered a hole. When he came out, I asked him what he had done there. The Imam answered: 'While descending 'Arafat, I was behind the Messenger. He went down into that hole and relieved himself. I felt no need to do that now, but I don't like to oppose him.'" Also, no one ever saw him take more or less than three swallows of water, for he saw the Messenger drink water in three swallow.
Ibn 'Umar was born in the early years of Islam. He saw his father beaten severely by the Makkan polytheists many times. When the Muslims emigrated to Madina, he was about 10 years old. The Messenger did not let him fight at Badr because he was too young. When he was also prevented from fighting at Uhud, he returned home so grief-stricken that he spent the whole night asking himself: "What sin have I committed that they did not include me in the army fighting in the way of the Messenger?"
Ibn Khalliqan relates in Wafayat al-A'yan (The Death of the Notables) from Sha'bi:
Once in their youth, 'Abd Allah ibn Zubayr, his brother Mus'ab ibn Zubayr, 'Abd al-Malik ibn Marwan, and 'Abd Allah ibn 'Umar were sitting near the Ka'ba. They thought that each should ask God for something special in the hope that the prayer would be accepted. Ibn Zubayr prayed: "O God, for the sake of Your Grandeur, Honor, and Majesty, make me a ruler in Hijaz." Mus'ab stretched out his arms and prayed: "O God, for the sake of Your Honor, Majesty, and Grandeur, of Your Throne and Seat, make me a ruler in Iraq." 'Abd al-Malik raised his hands and prayed: "O God, I ask You to make me a ruler over all the Muslims and secure, through me, Muslim unity even at the cost of some lives." When 'Abd Allah prayed, he asked: "O God, don't take my soul before You guarantee Paradise for me."
The prayers of the first three were accepted: 'Abd Allah ibn Zubayr ruled for a while in Hijaz and was eventually martyred by Hajjaj the Tyrant, the notorious Umayyad governor. Mus'ab ruled in Iraq for a short time. 'Abd al-Malik succeeded his father, Marwan, as caliph and secured Muslim unity of Muslims, though at the cost of many lives and much bloodshed.
As for Ibn 'Umar, Imam Sha'bi remarks: "Whether the Imam's prayer was accepted or not will be clear in the Hereafter." Sha'bi knew something: "Ibn 'Umar never opposed the Prophet's descendants or supported the Umayyads. Hajjaj was afraid of him. Once, Hajjaj gave a sermon before the noon prayer that was so long that the noon prayer's time was almost over. Ibn 'Umar warned him: 'O Governor, time is passing without waiting for you to finish your sermon.' Hajjaj was full of rancor and enmity for Ibn 'Umar. Finally, during a pilgrimage he found someone to prick Ibn 'Umar's heel with a poisonous spear while he was in pilgrim attire. The poison eventually killed him."
'Abd Allah ibn Mas'ud, one of the first five or six people to embrace Islam, also narrated a considerable number of Traditions. As a youth, he tended the flocks of such Qurayshi leaders as Abu Jahl and 'Uqba ibn Abi Mu'ayt. After his conversion, he would no longer be separated from the Messenger. He entered the Prophet's house without asking to do so and so frequently that people thought he was a family member. During military or non-military expeditions, he carried the Prophet's water bag, wooden sandals, and mat upon which he slept or sat. Eventually, he became known as "the caretaker of the pattens (sandals-like shoes), couch, and water bag."

Your wives are like farmland for you, so approach them ˹consensually˺ as you please.2 And send forth something good for yourselves.3 Be mindful of Allah, and know that you will meet Him. And give good news to the believers. Quran 2:223
Notice you 'forgot' the context.
And,
Divorced women must wait three monthly cycles ˹before they can re-marry˺. It is not lawful for them to conceal what Allah has created in their wombs,1 if they ˹truly˺ believe in Allah and the Last Day. And their husbands reserve the right to take them back within that period if they desire reconciliation. Women have rights similar to those of men equitably, although men have a degree ˹of responsibility˺ above them. And Allah is Almighty, All-Wise. Quran 2:229
I believe women and men have different roles in society, whether it be a businesswoman or a stay at home mother, or a businessman or a stay at home father, but regardless, they're all important. Men in Islam are supposed to treat women in their lives with lots of care and women were always held up on a pedestal, to be treated well.
Sahih Muslim, Book 8, Number 3367 & 3368. 'It is not permissible for a woman to abandon the bed of her husband.' The verse listed, in my interpretation, is to stay loyal to your spouse, and there should be reason behind not having intercourse, reason behind saying no. Both the husband and wife can't refuse if there isn't good reason behind it, such as health issues.
Sahih Muslim Book 8, Hadith Number 3371. From Mir Farooq Ali,
Slaves acquired during war could be ransomed back by their family at anytime or sold. However, if the slave became pregnant with child then she could not be sold since she would become the master’s responsibility and he would be responsible for maintaining her (feeding, clothing and protecting her) and the baby she was carrying.
Azl means “Coitus Interruptus”. The Muslims wanted to practice that to avoid getting the women pregnant and be bound by the rules above which forbade them from selling the slaves.
The Hadith which is quoted actually goes on further but the quote which has been shared here has been curtailed. The Muslims asked the Prophet about his approval of practicing Azl and he said, “It does not matter if you do not do it, for every soul that is to be born up to the Day of Resurrection will be born.” That is the complete hadith. The Prophet meant that it did not matter if they did Azl or not since whoever has been fated to be born will be born inspite of what actions they do/
Some of the translations are up to interpretation and are very weak. Theres many variations. Slavery has been disallowed for many parts of the world. This point doesn't stand much in many areas of the world, that do not have slaves like they did centuries ago, since slavery in modern times is different.
Also ˹forbidden are˺ married women—except ˹female˺ captives in your possession.1 This is Allah’s commandment to you. Lawful to you are all beyond these—as long as you seek them with your wealth in a legal marriage, not in fornication. Give those you have consummated marriage with their due dowries. It is permissible to be mutually gracious regarding the set dowry. Surely Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise. Quran 4:24
Why didn't you include the part that men may seek out women but with only interest in marriage?
Men are the caretakers of women, as men have been provisioned by Allah over women and tasked with supporting them financially. And righteous women are devoutly obedient and, when alone, protective of what Allah has entrusted them with.1 And if you sense ill-conduct from your women, advise them ˹first˺, ˹if they persist,˺ do not share their beds, ˹but if they still persist,˺ then discipline them ˹gently˺.2 But if they change their ways, do not be unjust to them. Surely Allah is Most High, All-Great. Quran 4:34
Again, you left out some context.
(47:4) When you meet the unbelievers (in battle), smite their necks until you have crushed them, then bind your captives firmly; thereafter (you are entitled to) set them free, either by an act of grace, or against ransom, until the war ends.8 That is for you to do. If Allah had so willed, He would have Himself exacted retribution from them. (But He did not do so) that He may test some of you by means of others.9 As for those who are slain in the way of Allah, He shall never let their works go to waste.
The words of this verse as well as the context in which it occurs clearly show that it was sent down after the revelation of the command for fighting and before the actual fighting began. The words, “So when you meet (in battle) those who disbelieve”, indicate that the fighting has not yet taken place and the Muslims are being instructed that when it does take place, what they should do.
The words of (verse 20 )below testify that this Surah was sent down at a time when the command for fighting had already been given in (Surah Al-Hajj, Ayat 39) and (Surah Al- Baqarah, Ayat 190), and the hypocrites of Madinah and the people of the weak faith had been so upset that it seemed as if they were actually facing death.
Besides,( verses 67-69 of the Surah Al-Anfal )also testify that this verse had been sent down before the Battle of Badr. There it has been said:
It does not behoove a Prophet to have captives until he has crushed down the enemies in the land. You desire the gains of this world, but Allah desires the Hereafter, and Allah is All-Powerful, All-Wise. Had not a decree already been issued by Allah, you would have incurred a severe chastisement in consequence of what you have done. So eat of what you have taken as spoils because it is lawful and pure.
A careful study of this passage shows that what had displeased Allah on this occasion was that before crushing down the enemy completely in the Battle of Badr, the Muslims had started taking the enemy soldiers as captives, whereas the instruction given to them in Surah Muhammad before the actual fighting was this: When you have crushed them completely, then bind the captives tight. However, as the Muslims had been permitted, among other things in Surah Muhammad, to accept ransom from the prisoners, Allah declared the money taken from the captives of Badr as lawful and did not punish them for that. The words: Had not the decree already been issued by Allah, are clearly pointing to the fact that the command for permission to accept ransom had already been given in the Quran before this event, and obviously, there is no other verse in the Quran beside this verse of Surah Muhammad, which contains this command. Therefore, it will have to be admitted that this verse had been sent down before the above cited verse of the Surah Al-Anfal (For explanation, see (E.N. 49 on Surah Al-Anfal).
This is the first verse of the Quran in which preliminary instructions have been given about the laws of war.
SAHIH MUSLIM BOOK 32, HADITH NUMBER 6303.
Chapter : Forbiddance of telling a lie and the cases in which telling of lie is permissible.
Humaid b. Ibn Shihab said he did not hear that exemption was granted in anything what the people speak as lie but in three cases: in battle, for bringing reconciliation amongst persons and the narration of the words of the husband to his wife, and the narration of the words of a wife to her husband (in a twisted form in order to bring reconciliation between them).
You can lie to bring peace. Such as compromise. Not everyone is going to like compromise but for the sake of peace they have to accept it and move on.
Like I said before, these points (such as captives of war and slavery) are obsolete, as the degree of these things happening centuries ago do not occur now. Since the text of the Quran hasn't changed ever, many verses are up to interpretation, and since the complex language the Quran was written with also hasn't changed, it's hard to accurately translate from language to language we understand in the modern day.
Hope you have a good day as well. Next time I would add more context and clarification if you spread these 'truths' to others.

My au version of lila rossi and her alte ego royal nine tails .
Hello everyone I decided to do this quick think feel free to put your thoughts here!
So by what the title says I'll be explaining my version of lila in my aus and her alte ego royal nine tails. So let's begin with that lila is a descendant of nine tails fox goddess named white tails but in truth that's a lie... let me explain you see the nine tails actually have one more tail making it a ten. ten tailed fox in the planned backstory a young fox was taken in by the nine tails and was caring for it when the young fox wanted the nine tails beauty and power and device a plan to steal the nine tails power... since it's kinda spoilers so I won't go deep into it but long story short the young fox was able to take all of the nine tails tails and power which created the long line of "nine" tailed foxes but the family of nine tails were all killed by God and Goddess who was afraid of their power and was slowly killed up until the present time where a young lila was orphaned as a baby due to her mother and the rest of the family giving baby lila all of their powers... lila never knew she had these abilities until one day (at the age of 13) lila was walking around a old abandoned neighborhood there was one house in the far center that pulled lila to the house she opened the door to see an old woman with one tail sitting and waiting for her (she was an family member who was close to death door but wanted to show lila her history and powers) the old woman introduced herself as lila grandmother abd told her the history of the nine tails and their almost complete extinction telling lila that she's the only nine tailed left and to take revenge on those who killed them before dying themselves lila was shocked and horrified by this and had so many questions but she wasnt sure how to take the news or to believe in it... she tried to live her life as normal as possible but she couldn't a feeling of sadness and rage grew within her after a couple of months she decided to accept what she heard was true (after doing a lot of research herself) now she grew curious to how to bring out her powers and her abilities... do she want back to the abandoned house and look for ways to call her powers she found books in old writing that she was surprised that she could read despite never seeing it before it took years of reading and training to finally called her power her own and she use it to help out her foster family because she own them a lot for taking her in and caring for her as if she was their own daughter until one day lila was sent off to Paris because college scholarships forgot to mention she is extremely smart she had do many things that would give her bagging right but she to humble to do so. Now this is before season one begins and season one starts with emilie death a death that lila cause... because she had found the descendants of those who had killed off her bloodline... she's the reason why everything is starting and the reason why everything is coming to a end lila main goal is to kill of the descendants... nothing will stop not even the goddess of luck herself because she played a hand in lila family death...
Hope ya like this I may have to rewrite it a little bit if I see any mistakes lol anyway enjoy and I would like some feedback!
Forgot to add Lila is 18 when she moved to Paris!

Plot spoilers, cult mention/discussion
So the egotistical jackass immortal ex-billionaire (ex because wealth as he was measured doesn't exist anymore) went and lied to a bunch of people to start a cult that will follow abd worship him with the promise of a new, better life.
He's basically set himself up as the head of a semi-religious cult it sounds like.
Oh, AND he presents it as "I was lucky to survive but lost all my loved ones" and not "I never really loved my wife or friends and I left them all to die while I fucked off to space to be immortal with the other rich monsters of my time", which okay fair I can see how being honest would not endear him to his new worshippers.
I hope we get to kill him personally.
...
So. A radiation warning. As we get closer to the ship. Obviously he's using his cult to get himself off Earth and will let them all die when his radiation-spewing engine poisons them all. And none of them with a Focus to be able to know the truth.
Ah, so killing this fucker gets us the weapon we use against the Horus I would assume?
I feel bad for the Quen cultees, tbh. They were easy to manipulate after everything they went through but the truth is out there now, and that's gotta be hard to face that the promise of something better was a lie.

Tafsir Ibn Kathir: Surah Al-Anfal Ayah 42
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
8:42 (And remember) when you (the Muslim army) were on the near side of the valley, and they on the farther side, and the caravan on the ground lower than you.
Even if you had made a mutual appointment to meet, you would certainly have failed in the appointment, but (you met) that Allah might accomplish a matter already ordained (in His knowledge), so that those who were to be destroyed (for rejecting the faith) might be destroyed after a clear evidence, and those who were to live (believers) might live after a clear evidence.
And surely, Allah is All-Hearer, All-Knower.
Some Details of the Battle of Badr
Allah describes Yawm Al-Furqan, (i.e. the day of Badr),
(And remember) when you (the Muslim army) were on the near side of the valley,
camping in the closest entrance of the valley towards Al-Madinah,
and they, the idolators, who were camped,
on the farther side, from Al-Madinah, towards Makkah.
and the caravan,
that was under the command of Abu Sufyan, with the wealth that it contained,
on the ground lower than you, closer to the sea,
even if you had made a mutual appointment to meet, you and the idolators,
you would certainly have failed in the appointment,
Muhammad bin Ishaq said, "Yahya bin Abbad bin Abdullah bin Az-Zubayr narrated to me from his father about this Ayah
"Had there been an appointed meeting set between you and them and you came to know of their superior numbers and your few forces, you would not have met them,
but (you met) that Allah might accomplish a matter already ordained,
Allah had decreed that He would bring glory to Islam and its people, while disgracing Shirk and its people. You (the companions) had no knowledge this would happen, but it was out of Allah's compassion that He did that.''
In a Hadith, Ka`b bin Malik said,
"The Messenger of Allah and the Muslims marched to intercept the Quraysh caravan, but Allah made them meet their (armed) enemy without appointment.''
Muhammad bin Ishaq said that Yazid bin Ruwman narrated to him that Urwah bin Az-Zubayr said,
"Upon approaching Badr, the Messenger of Allah sent Ali bin Abi Talib, Sa`d bin Abi Waqqas, Az- Zubayr bin Al-Awwam and several other Companions to spy the pagans.
They captured two boys, a servant of Bani Sa`id bin Al-`As and a servant of Bani Al-Hajjaj, while they were bringing water for Quraysh. So they brought them to the Messenger of Allah, but found him praying.
The Companions started interrogating the boys, asking them to whom they belonged. Both of them said that they were employees bringing water for Quraysh (army). The Companions were upset with that answer, since they thought that the boys belonged to Abu Sufyan (who was commanding the caravan). So they beat the two boys vehemently, who said finally that they belonged to Abu Sufyan. Thereupon companions left them alone.
When the Prophet ended the prayer, he said,
When they tell you the truth you beat them, but when they lie you let them go They have said the truth, by Allah! They belong to the Quraysh.
addressing to the boys He said: Tell me the news about Quraysh.
The two boys said, `They are behind this hill that you see, on the far side of the valley.'
The Messenger of Allah asked,
How many are they? They said, `They are many.'
He asked,
How many? They said, `We do not know the precise number.' He asked,
How many camels do they slaughter every day? They said, `Nine or ten a day.' The Messenger of Allah said,
They are between nine-hundred and a thousand. He asked again,
Which chiefs of Quraysh are accompanying the army?
They said, Utbah bin Rabiah, Shaybah bin Rabiah, Abu Al-Bakhtari bin Hisham, Hakim bin Hizam, Nawfal bin Khuwaylid, Al-Harith bin Amir bin Nawfal, Tu`aymah bin Adi bin Nawfal, An-Nadr bin Al-Harith, Zam`ah bin Al-Aswad, Abu Jahl bin Hisham, Umayyah bin Khalaf, Nabih and Munabbih sons of Al-Hajjaj,
Suhayl bin Amr and Amr bin Abd Wadd.
The Messenger of Allah said to the people,
This is Makkah! She has brought you her most precious sons (its chiefs)!''
Allah said,
So that those who were to be destroyed might be destroyed after a clear evidence.
Muhammad bin Ishaq commented,
"So that those who disbelieve do so after witnessing clear evidence, proof and lessons, and those who believe do so after witnessing the same.''
This is a sound explanation. Allah says,
He made you meet your enemy in one area without appointment, so that He gives you victory over them.' This way, `He will raise the word of truth above falsehood, so that the matter is made clear, the proof unequivocal and the evidence plain. Then there will be no more plea or doubt for anyone. Then, those destined to destruction by persisting in disbelief do so with evidence, aware that they are misguided and that proof has been established against them, (and those who were to live might live), those who wish to believe do soَ (after a clear evidence), and proof. Verily, faith is the life of the heart, as Allah said,
Is he who was dead (without faith by ignorance and disbelief) and We gave him life (by knowledge and faith) and set for him a light (of belief) whereby he can walk among men ... (6:122)
Allah said next,
And surely, Allah is All-Hearer,
of your invocation, humility and requests for His help,
All-Knower.
meaning; about you, and you deserve victory over your rebellious, disbelieving enemies.
