New Voltron Idea Prompt.

This is a Musical Langst idea.

This prompt belongs to me. Any usage of it must be gained with permission and then proper credits to me.

Lance finds a space radio station. And becomes a part of it. Hes a minor dj that searches for new artists through a version of space youtube, space music apps, space entertainment channels, and even space news articles regarding all of that. Hes even made his own page on one of them for making songs, and sharing them. Without a face reveal. But he has a character thing with a special design. He even has some cery minor merch when he gets more popular. Which is fairly so. Because he Djs and makes music. But hes most well loved because he makes people wanna listen to music more and also make music more now than ever during the war. Hes somehow created more allies than much of team Voltron has. And has also captured the hearts of many who are already allies, who believe they recognize his voice. He had a private server thing. where he talks about his songs, artists he likes, interviews, a merch and podcast station, and stuff like this. -> the planet they visit is actually made up of very many people that Lance had helped through his contributions to the radio station.

My very specific version of this story has Lance as Bisexual/Demi-Sexual. Panromantic. Freckles with curly hair that he straightens and covers with makeup. He has Narcolepsy, ADHD, generalized Anxiety disorder (like hunk) might be autistic. And other things. He was captured by the Galra at one point: leaving him with an Altean tech prosthetic leg, above the knee, and a blind eye. But he has amnesia from the whole event. And not a single memory, even still. Lance is also Multilingual, an empath, sorta. Like it’s not specified as a super power. But it might as well be. He’s actually super intelligent. But likes that he can be a different version of himself that doesn’t take away from the talents that the others also have like tech, fighting, and cooking. Lance still has doubts. But he’s better. Him and Allura are best friends, he’s closer with Pidge and even Hunk than ever before. This contains Shiro X Allura. (I know that he’s gay, but we can make him Bi- shh) eventual Klance, Pining Keith, Happy-with-any-sort-of-relationship with-Keith Lance, and so much more I have to say.

I’m super excited for when I’ll be able to post this. I don’t know how long it will be yet. But it’s definitely gonna be a book. Title ideas would be much appreciated. And once again, let me know either here or private message me if you wanna use a version of this prompt. I’ll be sharing soon how it should look and be set up if you do use it.

Silver x Candle,

On a romantic setting? 10/10

I think that the II fandom will actually die at any scene of a wlm ship due to them forgetting that bisexuals and pansexuals exist. But, that's for another day. I'm actually rather surprised by the fact that they're HINTING a ship? This isn't Lightbrush or anything, this is straight up just implying that Silver has some feelings for Candle when it comes to what happened on episode 17.

The progression they had felt really natural. I still can't get how people hc'ed them as a gay man and as a lesbian when they're very implied through all the series? We know Candle is very subtle with letting out how she feels, but the care she had for Silver was fully genuine at all times. "Oh but Silver betrayed her-" SURPRISE Silver is/was a dick to everyone and MANAGED to work it out. They GREW thanks to eachother, mostly Silver though since he gained his inner spark.

Even if they're not like, in my mind completely or anything, they're really sweet. I like wlm ships that are complex and have troubles. I don't know why people dare to say they're far more toxic than a certain other ship when they aren't. Silver was just an asshole to everyone at some point untol he realized that he had feelings for Candle and felt guilty about what happened to her.

They're complicated, but not toxic. It feels really mutual to me. Although even if it ends up being just, Silver wanting to impress her/wanting to make up for the fact that it's him, they like eachother a lot. As well, Silver should DEFINITELY go to therapy before having any type of romantic relationship given his low self esteem issues.

ALSO HEY, CANDLE DIDN'T USE HIS BAD SELF ESTEEM, SHE WANTED HIM TO REALIZE THAT HE WAS MORE!!! THAT HE WAS HIMSELF!!! They're genuinely really healthy! Just kinda troubled. Really good ship.

Can I ask how do you deal with hurtful comments on your fanfics from someone you consider a friend? Like I know if some stranger send hurtful comments it felt bad but damn when someone you know said the same thing it felt worse. Early this year I was kicked out and blocked from an animanga lover group when they find out that I wrote mlm fanfics from major shounen series (naruto,bnha, aot, jjk). This what they said :

“I'm convinced you must have never had friends before because all of these relationships are perfect depictions of what PLATONIC friendship is. If you want a gay story support ACTUAL gay couples like in BL & GL manga. Do you know how frustrating it is to see people move mountains for a non canon ship that’ll never happen then ignore actual gay manga’s and anime’s in BL & GL anime/manga...."

What do you think? Even until now, I'm still feeling a bit guilty for liking non canon mlm and wlw ships from shounen series. But when I found your blog and read your posts, I felt way better. Especially that answer of yours to anon who asked is it weird to love mlm& wlw more than wlm. Thanks for sharing your hard work (analysis, fanfics, arts, reviews).

Sorry for my rants and for my weird feelings.....

Ohhhh this is so precious please don't apologize for sending me this ask, I love feelings and hearing about other peoples' experiences with them and how my art/accounts have somehow been relatable because of that.

The peer pressure in fandoms is absolutely insane and convinces me that the social aspect works the same as any high school full of bullies. There WILL be mean girls, there WILL be cliques, and if you're a creator like me, you're going to be a MAGNET for like ten different types of them.

As for how I deal with hurtful comments, I was raised in an environment that constantly shamed me. I was controlled from all sides on what I could draw, write, and consume, so I'm used to being shunned by those who "love" me because of what I'm interested in! Because of this, the hate comments were what I EXPECTED going in and the positive comments were actually the things that threw me for loops. Hurtful comments only had the power to nag at me when I didn't have an audience (or friends) to bounce them off of so they wouldn't keep popping up as a "do I actually do this, though?" "am I actually bad for this?". But now they don't bother me; they give me the chance to either make a troll reply or spice up my friends' group chat for the day.

As far as a FRIEND leaving a hurtful comment??? I have so much sympathy for you. I am SO sorry they treated you that way.

When I make friends, I tell them openly what I do and to what extent. This way, I gather the type of people I want and push away those who don't. If they think it's not okay, they're silly.

Those friends who kicked you out of their little club? SILLY. They think they're so pure and moral for gatekeeping what can and can't be done with creativity and passion. They won't ever know what it feels like to live as freely as you do. In the end, their opinion is an opinion that is largely not shared by the logical, rational public. Any professional in the art/film/writing industry can tell you that much. How else are we supposed to make stories? Have a little IMAGINATION!! DAMN!

I'm saying a lot of this because it's the best thing to tell yourself when you read things that are clearly meant to make you feel shame when you haven't done a single thing wrong. Since this is Tumblr and I can ramble to my heart's content, maybe it'll help you if I also point out the specific tools that have been used in that message they sent you. Sometimes a good breakdown of tactics is all it takes to remind yourself you're not in the wrong.

"I'm convinced you must have never had friends before" AKA "you're so ignorant" - invalidating your experiences to crumble any foundation you might've had to stand on if you wanted to argue back. Starting off with this helps them cut you down so your self-esteem is lowered.

"these relationships are perfect depictions of what PLATONIC friendship is" - their opinion is being stated here as a fact, as if the entire world agrees with them and there's no other way to see it. First of all, this means NOTHING to the shipping world, since it exists largely to turn friendships into romances. Idk what they wanted to do with that one.

"If you want a gay story support ACTUAL gay couples like in BL & GL manga" - I'm not sure what kind of burn that is. SUPPORT ACTUAL GAY COUPLES LIKE THE REST OF US!! Okay snuffledumpkins. Guess nobody taught them how to MULTITASK!!! GUESS WHAT? I CAN SUPPORT ACTUAL GAY COUPLES *AND* NON-CANON GAY COUPLES, FREAK! WHAT NOW, HUH??? Being serious though, this is an attempt to define for YOU what ''''''true gay couples'''''' are (ACCORDING TO THEM), when this is an entirely fluid meaning and can be applied to whomever you'd like in fiction. This is THE PURPOSE OF FANFICTION.

Finished DBD, here are my thoughts:

•I quite enjoyed this show. It is not my favorite Neil Gaiman show (that's still good omens), but I do like it a lot

•I do with the characters were in their college years or instead of teenagers, but this isn't that much of an issue I suppose

•The best episode by far is episode 7. Like, holy crap, from the world building to the character development to the emotional moments, that episode is phenomenal

•I expected Edwin to be my favorite because I normally vibe with that type of character, but actually Charles ended up being my favorite. I can really relate with the idea of feeling so angry and questioning if that makes you a bad person. Charles was surprisingly a deep character

•I liked Charles a lot too, though he isn't my favorite version of this character archetype. Sometimes I did feel like they made him a bit too nice, I kinda wish he would have been a bit more antagonistic towards people, but all and all he was good.

•Loved Niko. I loved her contrast compared to everyone else. She is just a very normal girl surrounded by very abnormal circumstances and I love how that didn't make her any lesser in the team. She was the emotional intelligence there and I loved that for her. If there is a season 2, I wonder what they will do with her

•I liked Crystal and I really enjoyed how it paralleled actual toxic relationships irl but I am unsure if I like the direction the show took with making her a rich kid of sorts. I loved the fact she got her powers from her ancestors though. I think that was really cool

•Actually, I don't vibe with episode 8 for the most part. Episode 7 was so good that I think that the season could have ended there. The pacing and story of episode 8 felt a bit off in my opinion

•Other than those two, the other episodes were pretty good. I won't give them a proper individual rating because I think they were all consistently good abd achieve the emotional arcs they were going for fairly well

•I was one of the people who thought that Crystal was in love with Niko the first time they met lmao.

•Actually, something I wish that the show had addressed was how Crystal would act like humans were beneath her for not having powers. It would be interesting to see some conflict between the two in that aspect.

•Speaking of conflict, let's talk relationships shall we? Starting with the strictly platonic, I loved the friendship between Niko and Edwin. It was a bit out of left field, but man, do I wish we got to see more friendships like this in media so I will not complain

•That being said, I wish Niko and Charles had more screentime. I think they would vibe pretty well

•I also wish we had seen Edwin and Crystal together more often without Charles around. Love my boy, but those two need to have a heart to heart seeing as they are essentially crushing on the same man.

•Crystal and Charles is one of the wlm relationships I actually don't mind too much. I'm glad they didn't get together, and I would prefer if they didn't get together, but I wouldn't be upset if they did. Their friendship is great though

•Edwin and Charles are the core of the show. The fact that Charles just accepts Edwin's feelings even if he doesn't reciprocate is everything to me. And they did leave it open for it possibly developing into more in the future. I'm personally a very big fan of this ship, but if they don't get together I won't be upset

•I ship Jenny X me. Haha jk unless? I wish we had a bigger focus on her since she was the only positive adult in the kid's life (besides the walrus) but alas. I hope that, if there is a season 2, she gets a girlfriend

•I liked Cat King, though I must say, he gave me the creeps considering that Edwin does appear to be a teenage boy. Still, hopefully, he can find his own twink someday, preferably one of proper age

•Esther was that bitch and I loved her for it. If there is a season 2, I hope we get to see another witch, but this time one that uses her magic to protect people, maybe with Lilith's blessing

•Actually, can we have more of Lillith in general? Thanks

•No strong feelings about Monty. I didn't really like him at the start of the show and felt bad when his ghost died. He was cooler as a crow and if he does come back, give him the power to change between forms please

•No strong feelings on the Night Nurse either. Kinda ship her with fish guy though. They just vibe well.

•Oh, one more thing about Niko, this time a headcanon: I actually headcanon she is aroace but obsessed with romance so she wants her friends to be in love, but she doesn't want that for herself

•If there is a season two, I'd like to see more creatures like vampires or werewolves. Maybe even a mermaid.

•I also hope for more Death and Despair. Let the girls serve please

Overall, I would say this show was a solid 8/10 for me. Not as high as Sandman which was a 9/10 but I think it was pretty good still. I recommend. I might make a post writing about what would happen in my version of a season 2 of this show later

Btw, Im perfectly fine with people who see any chatacters as siblings and ngl, I have some chatacters I see so too, but to me the whole problem of if in toh fandom is that people see Luz and Hunter so only bc they have a strong bond without having romantic things (well, we don't count fake kiss scene). So for them there is basicly no way of boy having non romantic bond with girl unless they are siblings. I mean, the variant of them being friends or besties doesn't exist for them. And unfortunetly people just forget that friends between boys and girls (especially when both of them are wlm) exists and to me it's kinda sad.

Like I said, there is nothing wrong to see them as siblings, just like see them as couple, but the problem is that these people realy think that they were siblings "coded" in canon and trying to convince other in this, basicly just bc there weren't any romantic moments between them. They litteraly excluding the possibility of them having any other kind of platonic relationship. I'm not gonna say that Luz meant "married couple" when she called Hunter her family or that Zeno meant Hunter and Luz get married so he take her last name, but even in found family (who Luz and Hunter for now are) there don't have to be these main family members like causins, parents, children or siblings and I think it's like the whole point of found family, that there is no labels or roles. They are just close people with the strong bond.

Thanks for your kind reply, you're right. I lived in a country where LGBTQ+ is considered taboo and in a family where those things are taught to be sinful. I saw my friend (female) have to quit school because she was preganant, amd had to get married to "take care of the family". And my dear sister looked stressful (almost every day) since she married and had her kids. Maybe because of that, for these last few years, I only want to consume MLM and WLW (including BL & GL) media for romance? Also now I kinda fed up with WLM romance with their m/f relationships.

Do you have any recs with female mc & female lead dynamics or male mc & male lead dynamics (not any m/f dynamic, if there are m/f only in platonic sense)?
