Illya is younger than Napoleon (I usualy headcanon him at around 25 and Napoleon 35ish), so I think their use of social media would be quite different : hence Illya on Tiktok and Napoleon on Instagram. Also it's not the 60s so Illya can be like 10% less reppressed :)) but as a debuff Napoleon now has the technology to call him a nerd

Illya's page started as a cover for some affair, but he ended up kinda enjoying doing it in his free time. It's like a hobby for him, a way to experiment with fashion ! It's what made him want to pursue fashion design as a career after his curent spy job. And also I think he gets more and more nervous the more followers he gets, because as a spy having a chance to get recognise in the street is really bad dkdldlos Napoleon teases him endlessly that he became a tiktoker (as he should)-

Did I, at one point in the project, had to scrap the thirst trap idea to keep the fashion nerd vibes ? Yes I did, but just know he uses the "twink" tag :)

• The first post is a ref to the discotheque affair, not the best episode and a great miss for not including a disco Illya outfit, so I made him one to match the other :D

• The second is to the Hot number, but he gets to wear the thrush pattern !

• The third one is what made me do all of this ! Because, if you're not french, you might not know about one of my favorite yearly twitter threads : Met Gala outfits as INSEE graphs by Clara Dealberto ! Don't care about the met gala, but this is very funny :) and such a Illya Kuryakin thing to do kdkdkd

• fourth one isn't fashion related, it's a ref to popart and the "he has Dostoïevski eyes" line that made us laught a lot

• A little Fiddlesticks for the dog post, because it's a banger episode. Plus a nod to he dog expert from it, with whom Illya had palpable sexual tension fkfkfkl I like to think they kept contact ;) (shoutout to this fic (Intensity by AconitumNapellus) who absolutely get the vision, 10/10 guy to "cheat" on your boyfriend with)

As for Napoleon, being older and less invested in this, an instagram made sense. But crutialy, I get such strong modern oss117 vibes from Napoleon (the way he shoots his gun, the goofy faces, the awkward stance everytime he enters a place, the inexplicable in universe rizz...) dkfkldls modern oss117 was a parody of both 60s james bond and older oss117 movies, but I'm now convinced they also whatched some uncle while doing these, it's just so obvious- anyway all this to say, in the second movie oss117 has to pose as a photographer and gets way too invested in his cover (it's his thing don't question it), and at the end of the movie we get to see all the photography he took during his mission..... Let me tell you how hard it was to resist him having an instagram full of blurry women on the street (canon 60s napoleon would have done it I'm sorry)- but what I kept was the pretty "badly" shot pics of random things, tho you sometimes get the odd decent pic taken by Illya. And he gets to be in a duck floatie as a treat and nod to oss <3

PS : if you've never seen the recent oss117 movies, you should they funny ! But oh god some jokes are terrible- the first one is the best, minus one gay joke frankly not great. They nail the gay joke in the second one but oh god... They do not always win the 'is our character a piece of shit or is the movie problematic' gamble so be aware of that. And the 3rd one is shit don't bother

More Wei Qingwei blabbering and I'll never stop (I will not apologise for the cliffhanger yesterday)

When something emerged from amongst the bushes and darted in front of them, Wei Yi reacted before he could think. It was that familiar instinct that came with fear, that instinct to run and hide as fast as possible but- but now he could fight. Now he could protect himself, and A-Zhang. He lunged. It was the only way to describe how he launched himself at the threat and knocked it down, falling with it for only a moment before they thudded against the floor and he found himself face to face with a mildly shocked looking disciple, fists clenched in the familiar white and dark blue, almost black, robes of Bai Zhan. It took him a second to register that he had just accidentally pinned down a Bai Zhan disciple, of all peaks. It took him another second to register that A-Zhang was absolutely cackling behind him, and that the Bai Zhan disciple looked positively exhilarated despite the fact that they had been knocked over so easily. Wei Yi's heart had been racing even as he let go of the Bai Zhan disciple and stood up, A-Zhang gave him a warm congratulations, patting him on the back as he introduced him to Liu Yanfei, the head disciple of Bai Zhan Peak. Before Wei Yi could even think about apologising, he received a demand to fight again. Liu Yanfei hadn't seemed mad; rather, he had seemed almost...excited, and Wei Yi almost felt as though he could understand it. Being the head disciple of the war peak meant that Liu Yanfei likely struggled to find opponents that were worth fighting; it surely wasn't often that he was actually tackled by someone, someone from another peak, no less! So, he offered to spar with Liu Yanfei if he had any free time (he saw A-Zhang's expression of worry, but he really didn't mind. His hobbies were his normal duties anyway, so it was truly no big deal), and the way his shidi lit up was worth the injuries he would receive from sparring with such a boy. Anyway, he had been learning the other peaks' fighting styles (a responsibility for the head disciple alone) and it would be good to have someone to practice with! Bai Zhan was honestly incredibly fun. There was something wild about the place, with the disciples having even more relaxed manners than Wan Jian and a Shizun that would charge anyone she saw fit if they were slacking according to her rules of what is slacking. Wei Yi was once was tackled when he was showing Liu Yanfei a spearhead he had made for him, and almost stabbed himself in the chest as he tumbled to the floor (luckily, he only stabbed himself in the foot due to how the spearhead dropped). It had been mildly interesting to realise that Yanfei's Shizun was colourblind as they both stared at the piece of pretty looking metal protruding from his foot. Shifu hadn't let him go to Bai Zhan for a while after that, but he had found it pretty funny in hindsight. Plus, it meant that he was sent to An Ding more often to ask for forms and paperwork to complete, and even hung around to help some of the other distressed looking disciples with their tasks. One of these was someone who everyone classed as the unofficial head disciple (apparently their shizun was too busy to make it official). They had started talking when he noticed that this mousey disciple had similar hair to his, and that it was terribly unkempt. As someone who had struggled with his hair a lot before Shifu took it into his own hands and showed him how it worked, Wei Yi sympathised and offered to do it for him. He had never seen a disciple cry so much from a simple offer.

this is my first time posting a fanfic, its a quick thing written in one night to get it out of my system

Loto wriggled out of Moana's embrace and slipped back into the hollow. Moana followed quietly, though her fins remained erect.

“A cave,” she commented dryly. “I bet they think they're funny.” Loto nestled into the corner.

“They really can't see in here,” she remarked. Moana hummed.

“What a consolation.”

A splash.

Moana whipped around and hissed at the fish carcasses. Pink rippled across Loto's skin. Moana's fins folded.“What's up with that?” she asked hastily. Loto rested her head on her arms.

“It's food,” she said. Kinda obviously, she kept to herself. “If you don't eat it, they'll take it back up eventually.”

“Of course you know that,” Moana said knowingly. Loto's skin shifted to match the walls.

Moana turned her eyes to the heavens fondly, and promptly remembered the ceiling. She shook her head and darted out of the fake cave to grab the fish.

“Eat,” she told Loto, dropping a fish in front of her. The octopus mer unfurled herself, delicately stretching each tentacle until Moana shoved a fish in her face.

“Quit stalling.”

Loto pulled a face, but took the fish between her teeth. Moana gently bunted her forehead and churred.

Loto's eating habits were… unusual. She'd eat any type of food that wasn't toxic (and a few that were), but between the delicate balance of the sub ecosystem and the long route to the human village, she had a complicated schedule of where and when and how much she ate, which involved many short fasts and lean times alternated with what was, most honestly, gorging, at least when she could get a hold of a full net. Moana had tried to help even things out by bringing her open-water fish as often as she could, but she was pretty sure that when she couldn't stick around, the fish usually wound up in a corner somewhere.

The upside of the captivity situation, Moana suppose, was that she could be sure that Loto was eating at least a bite a day, even if that bite was a tiny, prolonged, definitely-trying-to-fake-eat-because-it's-not-an-eating-day nibble. Loto.

Loto flattened herself and looked away. Moana softened herself and swam to curl against her, nuzzling her jaw gently. Loto sighed and took a bite, glancing pointedly at Moana. The ray-fin merely trilled in reply and sunk her teeth into the other fish.

The Batkids play a game called “Guess Who Bruce Is Disappointed In Today” and it is a bloodsport.

It started as a joke. It is no longer a joke.

Every morning, without fail, one of them walks into the kitchen and says:

“Guess who Bruce is disappointed in today?”

And they all take turns guessing based on crime alerts, nightly patrol rotations, and vibes.

It’s become a system.

It went like:

Jason: “I knocked out a senator by accident. My odds are high.”

Tim: “I drank seventeen Red Bulls and fell asleep on top of the Batcomputer.”

Damian: “I released three bats into Gotham General Hospital as enrichment. They were bored.”

Steph: “I called him ‘Brucie’ in front of a senator.”

Cass: Just raises a finger and shrugs.

Then Bruce walks in, dead silent, pours his coffee, looks at no one, and walks away.

Tim: “It’s Jason.”

Jason: “DAMN IT.

Rules:

If you guess wrong, you have to do patrol with Damian and listen to him rant about the superiority of traditional swordsmanship for two hours.

If you guess right, you get to choose the movie on family movie night.

If Bruce is disappointed in himself, everyone gets ice cream. That’s the law.
