“Cael, baby go to Mama for a while. Papa will just be in the cool down room. I'll see you at the podium later, okay?” Carlos said, kissing his son. Cael gave him a nod and went to you. “I'll go now,” Carlos said, giving your arm a gentle squeeze. You watch Carlos as he leaves and goes to the cool down room.
--------------------------------------------------
Carlos and Charles are sitting on their respective chairs watching the race. Lando, on the other hand, is nowhere to be found. “Where's Lando?” Carlos asked Charles while wiping his sweat off. Charles simply shrugged his shoulders at him. Meanwhile at Ferrari’s garage…
“Lando what are you doing here aren't you supposed to be in the cooldown room?” You said as you saw him invading the garage. “Where's the baby? I just saw him a while ago,” Lando replied while his eyes were wandering off.
“What baby are you talking about? You mean Cael?” You replied with another question. Lando gave you an excited nod and a child-like grin. “He is at the back playing with Papa,” you said and without a split second Lando rushed to where Cael was at.
“Lando, why are you here?” Carlos Sr. asked Lando who was smiling wildly at the site of Cael. “Ooh Grandpapa, it's Uncle Lando,” Cael said as he noticed who his grandfather was talking to.
“Oh my god, you know me? Yes, I'm Uncle Lando,” Lando said and approached Cael. “Mhmm yes, Mama said your Papa’s friend,” Cael said innocently, still aloof with Lando. “For real? She said that. Aww,” Lando replied, smiling still.
“Is that a car you're playing with? Can I play with you?” Lando said wanting to initiate an interaction with the kid. Cael simply nodded at Lando and played with him. Lando is squealing at Cael's cuteness. After a few minutes, with the given extroverted trait of your son and Lando, they got along quickly. They kept giggling and teasing each other.
“Hey Lando, get up there. The awarding ceremony is about to start,” you called out to him. He got up and lifted Cael. “Hey, what are you doing? Give me Cael he is not the trophy, don't bring him to the podium,” You grabbed Lando and got Cael from his arms.
“I expect some explaining to do later, Doc.” Lando said, leaving you two to go to the podium. And yes you need some explaining to do to your best friend on the grid. He was the one you always go to when you and Carlos argue. The only person Carlos would trust to go partying with you when he's not around. The person who is there for you when you need someone to talk to. Yet someone you didn't think could be Cael's godfather for the reason that whatever you tell him he tells Carlos.
--------------------------------------------------
You and Cael watched Carlos at the podium. His eyes never left you two and can't help but smile at the sight of his family, his own family. When the boys got down from the podium they had their champagne bottles with them with still few drinks left. As soon as Lando saw you, he shaked his bottle and sprinkled some on you.
“Lando Norris! You cheeky ass!” You turned around from him not letting Cael get sprinkled with champagne. The boys are just giggling. Carlos in revenge shook the remaining drink in his bottle and poured it to Lando. Your top is soaking wet and you're just laughing at Lando. Cael in your arms, gladly not wet, is also laughing at the sight of you and his father's friends.
--------------------------------------------------
You are in the driver's room, letting Cael fall asleep on the couch. His battery finally ran out from all the playing at the garage. “Here, change.” Carlos said, giving you his white Ferrari shirt, he wore coming into the paddock. “Thanks,” you replied.
Carlos then removes his clothes and you immediately turn your head away. “Why look away when you have already seen it all?” Carlos replied while changing clothes for his interview. You just scoff and fix Cael's blanket.
What? Do you expect me to watch you strip off? In your dreams.
After changing, Carlos kisses sleeping Cael before leaving you two for his interview. “I'll be back,” Carlos replied. The moment the door closed, you changed your clothes. You also removed your pants, which were kinda wet from the sprinkle. Gladly, you have sickling shorts underneath.
Carlos’ shirt is kinda loose on you and it's hanging up to your mid thigh. “I guess this could work, it's not like I have any choice,” you said, sighing. Carlos' scent is wrapping you but it's better than reeking champagne all over your body.
--------------------------------------------------
After all the interviews, Carlos went back to his driver's room and found not only Cael sleeping but also you. You are sitting on the floor and your head is on the couch beside Cael. Carlos was taken aback and slowly approached you. He tucked some of your hair covering your face.
“Sorry, did I wake you up?” Carlos said. He was so close to you that you could feel his breath. “Nah, not really. Are you done?” You replied slightly moving away from him. “Yeah we can go now,” Carlos said, also increasing the gap away from you.
“Uhm btw, is there any chance you can come with me at home? Mama wants to see Cael,” Carlos said massaging his nape. “Oh yeah, Reyes, sure. But I think now is not the best time I guess. Our baby is definitely tired as hell,” you replied.
“Yeah he is,” Carlos said, grinning when he heard you say our baby. “Uhmm when are you two going back?” Carlos asked pertaining to you flying to your home country. “Actually, we only have two weeks here so yeah a few days from now we'll go back already,” you replied.
“Can you extend it?” Carlos asked, almost a whisper. You paused for a while before opening your lips. “I'll think about it.” You know it will be difficult to extend it because you have a job to go back to, an emergency room that badly needs someone like you. “Please do,” Carlos requested. “Yeah sure,” you replied.
You two fixed your stuff while Cael is still asleep. Carlos volunteered to carry Cael to the parking lot. He gently carries him, not wanting to interrupt his rem cycle. He places his head on his shoulder and rubs his back.
At the parking lot, when Carlos was about to give Cael back to you, you asked him something. “Where's your key? Give it to me. I'll drive instead,” you offered so Cael won't be interrupted anymore from his sleep. “Are you sure? It's in the front pocket of my bag,” Carlos replied. You grab it and start the car.
--------------------------------------------------
You park at the front of your place and notice that your boys are both sound asleep. You stared at them for a moment before gently slapping Carlos cheeks to wake him up. He was startled by the hands that landed on his face. “Wake up, Carlos.” He got up caressing the cheek you slapped.
Carlos gave Cael to you and walked you two at the doorstep. You stopped before entering. “Let's bring Cael to your house tomorrow,” you blurted. You just want to get through things so you won't extend your stay at Madrid. “Okay, I'll fetch you,” Carlos replied.
--------------------------------------------------
As soon as Reyes heard Carlos' car. she immediately greeted him. “Where's my grandson?” Carlos' mother asked. “Mama, won't you congratulate me first?” Carlos said, putting a sulky tone. “Sorry congratulations, Carlos. So where's little sainz?” she said. Carlos chuckles with his mom's excitement. “He is already asleep, Mama. I didn't bother to wake him up. Don't worry, they'll be here tomorrow. I'll bring them here.”
“You should be,” a stern voice replied. “Sis?” Carlos was stunned to see her older sister, sitting on the couch. “You're already here?” Carlos said.
“France is only two hours away from Madrid, Carlos,” Blanca replied, with a blunt tone, making Carlos gulp. His sister's aura is demanding explanation and he knows there is an upcoming interrogation. “Care to explain little sainz? Spill some juicy tea perhaps,” Blanca crossed her legs and glared at Carlos.
--------------------------------------------------

Part I (here), Part II
Trey Clover vs. Azul Ashengrotto vs. Jamil Viper x GN! Reader
In which the way to the Prefect’s heart is through their stomach! At least, according to three of NRC’s students…
I got the idea from @recreyomakesdoodles , from this post! Thank you so much, hope you liked it!!💕
Tagging people I think would be interested: @aruis4nosleep , @tinseltina
Warnings: food/eating
Notes: I decided to split this into multiple parts because I never have any restraint while writing and this ended up being long. Enjoy :D
———————————————————♣️🐙🐍
“Well, I didn’t expect to see you here.”
Azul pushed his glasses up, balancing a stack of takeout boxes emblazoned with the Mostro Lounge logo on them. Cold blue eyes met Trey’s golden irises. Trey cleared his throat, shifting a heavy picnic basket from one hand to the other. “What brings you here, Azul? I thought you’d be busy at Mostro Lounge…”
Azul snorted, “the Prefect knows to expect me today. Clearly, you are the one intruding.” Earlier that week, he overheard you wailing to your friends about your upcoming History of Magic exam. Apparently, this unit was on Atlantica’s magical history - a topic that was, unfortunately, giving you trouble.
Fortunately, Azul was a mer who grew up learning the history by heart. Naturally he offered you assistance in exchange for having you taste-test some dishes. And how could he not help a poor, unfortunate fellow student like yourself?
Besides, if he wanted to bring along some personally cooked meals to Ramshackle, under the claim that you both would be there ‘for hours, so you may as well try some foods (that I made!) for the upcoming Lounge menu (that I run)!’, that was nobody’s business. And certainly not Clover’s business.
Trey crossed his arms, easily holding the heavy picnic basket like it weighed nothing. Azul could smell the buttery pastries and powdered sugar through the closed basket lid where he stood. “Riddle sent me to give the Prefect an invitation to the next Unbirthday Party. I thought I’d give them some treats to… sweeten the deal.” Though Trey had a disarmingly pleasant smile with the pun, his eyes bored into Azul’s.
Azul frowned. “That couldn’t have been more than a simple text. Aren’t they friends with your first years, as well?” He asked, remembering your first year friends that he’d turned into anemones.
Trey adjusted his glasses and averted his gaze, a telltale deflection sign that Azul didn’t miss. “Well, it’s more official coming from the Vice Housewarden.” “And I suppose the baked goods are complimentary?” Azul sniffed disdainfully at the basket, “Surely, the prefect needs more than pastries. A proper meal,” he emphasized.
Trey’s eyes narrowed, “a basket of baked goods is better than whatever deal you’d have for them,” he nodded to the boxes Azul carried. “Everyone loves a good old fashioned pastry. Can’t say the same for seafood.” Azul opened his mouth to retort, when suddenly both of their ringtones went off.
IM SO SORRY AZUL!!!!! I got caught up with something, can I come over tomorrow?? I likely won’t be done until later, the headmage has me doing stuff 😭
TREY!!! Tysm for the invite, you didn’t have to go out of ur way to give it in person!! ill definitely be there at the party! 😄 sry I’m not there atm, Crowley wanted me to do something for him
Trey frowned, reading your text. Azul huffed, shouldering the stack of food boxes, muttering “looks like today was a loss.” Trey sighed, “well, it can’t be helped…” he made a mental note to put the pastries in the Heartslabyul fridge and just deliver it to you tomorrow, under the guise of ‘checking up on you’ after working for Crowley. The two of them trudged down the path to the Hall of Mirrors, heading back to their dorms.
The two of them walked in silence until Trey abruptly said, “I don’t know what you want with the Prefect, but I hope you have their best intentions at heart.” Azul turned to give Trey a withering look, “I assure you, when it comes to the Prefect, I have nothing but good intentions.” As he stepped into Octavinelle, Azul smirked and muttered, “especially regarding their heart.” Trey lingered for a bit, staring at the Octavinelle mirror with an unreadable expression. “We’ll see about that,” he said aloud in the empty Hall, then headed back to Heartslabyul.

Meanwhile, you sighed heavily, collapsing onto the chair. The cafeteria was pretty much empty, save for the random student or two. It was already darkening outside, and you were hungry. Crowley wanted you to do something for him just before lunch, and soon half your Saturday was gone running around NRC. You’d even lost track of time, and missed Azul’s study session and Trey dropping in! You groaned, hearing your stomach growl loudly.
“Prefect? What are you doing here?”
You glanced up, seeing Jamil with a large container of tupperware and other small containers. The delicious scent of curries, labneh yogurt cheese, and freshly made pita made your mouth water. Despite yourself, Jamil caught you looking at the boxed-up food more than once.
“…Crowley had me running errands, and I may have skipped lunch…” your voice grew quiet near the end. Jamil raised an eyebrow, then smiled. “I actually ended up making too much food for Kalim,” he said, moving around the table to sit next to you. “There’s enough for an extra person, and I’ve have already eaten.”
Your eyes widened, and Jamil started dishing out some curry and flatbread for you. Bright-colored curry sauce and chickpeas flooded the platter, wafting a delicious scent. As Jamil ripped a piece of pita, your stomach growl loudly. Your face felt warm. Jamil only chuckled, pushing the plate he’d conjured towards you. “What about Kalim?” You asked, feeling bad. Jamil smiled, “Please, go ahead. There’s enough for Kalim and you.” A warm smile grew on your face, and you gave Jamil a one-sided hug before digging in. “Thank you! You’re my savior!”
As he watched you eat, a tender look grew on Jamil’s face. He shifted the food containers so he could watch you while nibbling on some flatbread. It wasn’t difficult to determine that you were off on Crowley’s whims again - with you running around the school and being gone for several hours. With that in mind, it wouldn’t be anyone’s fault if he accidentally made too much food, so he thought he’d drop it off at Ramshackle later. It was sheer luck that you’d dropped by the cafeteria!
You hummed, soaking up some of the leftover curry sauce with your flatbread, “this was delicious, Jamil. Thank you so much.”
Jamil smiled genuinely, but a devious look came into his eyes when you looked back at your plate. “Please, Prefect, allow me. Wait here.” He took the plate, going to the kitchens to box up some food for you to take back. Walking back to you, he handed you the container, “It’s getting late, I can walk you back to Ramshackle.”
The two of you set off, with you holding some of Jamil’s boxes. “This was… really sweet of you, Jamil,” you smiled. You knew Jamil always had his hands full, whether it was taking care of Kalim or managing literally everything else. Maybe the food was making you gush, but you were definitely grateful for the impromptu meal. As you opened the door to Ramshackle, you gingerly handed the boxes back to him.
“Ah, wait,” he shuffled them and held a large one out to you. “This one is yours.” Your eyes widened, “Jamil, this is a lot-“ “Please.” Your eyes met his dark grey irises, and warm gratitude filled your chest. “Jamil, I… I really don’t know what to say. I have to repay you somehow-“ Now that was what he wanted to hear.
“You know, I’ve been meaning to try making some new dishes,” he glanced at you. “I’ve been needing someone to taste test them, and Kalim won’t be available…” You nodded eagerly, “Of course! I’d love to help you!” You said your goodbyes, and as the door shut behind you, Jamil had a calculating smirk on his face. Oh yeah, it’s all coming together.

Childhood
Tumblr media
Regina x Fem!Reader
I published this on wattpad ages ago and completely forgot about the request, IM SO SORRY.
I don’t know if i wrote this the exact way you wanted, so i tried my best, let me know if you want a part two.
Warnings: Mention of bullying, slight angst, nothing much more
You stare out your bedroom window, looking at the driveway of the house across the road. You begin to get bored as you have been waiting for the past hour for your best friend to come back. She had been gone for weeks, and you miss her so much. You spend every day together, talking, playing, and walking to school together (with your parents, of course).
That wasn't the point; the point was that you missed your best friend and were sick of waiting. "Mommy!" You whine, crawling downstairs to see your mom, cleaning up the kitchen. "Mommy, when is she coming back?" You ask, tugging at your mom's shirt. "I'm sorry, sweetheart; I don't know. But I'm sure she'll be back soon," your mom replies, giving you a reassuring smile. You sigh, feeling a mixture of impatience and excitement at the thought of finally reuniting with your best friend after what felt like an eternity.
You decide to go back to your room and continue waiting, hoping that she'll come back any minute now.
Regina's family had left for a road trip a few weeks ago, and when you called her on your mom's phone last night, she said she would be back for your birthday, but it was 11 a.m. and she wasn't there, and your party is at 1 p.m.
You start to feel a pang of worry creep up inside you. What if something had happened on their trip? What if Regina couldn't make it back in time for your birthday party? You try to push these negative thoughts out of your mind, reminding yourself that Regina is a reliable and responsible person.
As the minutes tick by, you can't help but keep checking the clock, hoping to see her familiar face walk through the front door any moment now.
Meanwhile, Regina and her family are in the car.
"Mom! Are we there yet?" Regina whined, asking the same question for the hundredth time. Regina reserved the same answer: "Not yet, baby." Her mom said it with a frown. Regina's heart sank as she glanced at the time on her phone, realising just how late they were running.
She couldn't shake the guilt of potentially missing her friend's birthday party. Her mom exchanged a worried glance with her dad, silently hoping they would make it in time. Regina tried to distract herself by imagining the smile on her friend's face when she finally arrived, but the sinking feeling in her stomach wouldn't go away.
Regina rolled her eyes. "Mom! It's Y/N's birthday! She was there for my 8th birthday." Regina pleaded with tears falling down her eyes; she then felt the car come to a stop and say, "We are here." Regina's mom said. Regina happily jumped out of the car, running up to your house and knocking on the door. She didn't stop knocking until the door was opened.
"Regina!" An equally happy you on the other side of the door said excitedly, bringing the blonde inside and giving her a hug. The two of you stayed in the hug for a while; you missed each other so much. Your mom walked in when she heard the two of you planning to talk with Regina's mom. When she walked past Regina, her eyes went wide.
"Regina? Have you gotten taller again?" The young girl's face went red, and her eyes looked at the floor. "Mom! Don't say that!" you exclaimed. "It's okay, Y/N. I mean, you are short, and you will always be short, so I will always protect you." Regina reminds me, with a smile on her face.
The two of you rush up to your room. You jump on the bed, and Regina does the same after you. "Happy birthday," Regina said, pulling out a gift bag. You gasp, grabbing the bag and opening it. Inside was a jelly cat bunny and a matching necklace to the one Regina was wearing. "Put it on me!" you say, and she smiles, putting it on you.
The people at the party started to come over. You had an amazing time, opened a lot of gifts, and ate a lot of cake. It was now 6 p.m., and everyone had left except for Regina and her mom. You and Regina were currently sitting on the couch, your heads in her lap, watching for Nemo.
"Regina! Y/n, Can you two come here?" You heard your mom's voice yell from the kitchen. You and Regina raced to the kitchen, smiling when they saw both your moms talking, but they didn't look happy.
"Can you please sit down?" Your mom asks, and you cluelessly both sit down next to each other, facing them. There was a small moment of silence before your mom spoke up, "Y/n, baby, I have some news." Your mom said quietly, and you listened closely, waiting for her to say something.
"We are moving tomorrow," she says.
You feel your heart break; you didn't want to be away from Regina; she was your best friend, and you couldn't survive without seeing her every day. "Houses? Schools? Or": You ask, tears starting to form. "Both, and states," your mom says. You look down and play with your figures, so annoyed with how she didn't tell you earlier.
The whole move happened so fast, and before you knew it, you were standing outside your house with your things backed away, holding the stuffed animal that Regina got you, and wearing the necklace.
She pulled you in for a hug. You stayed in her arms and cried. You didn't stop holding her until your mom said it was time to go. "We will see each other one day." Regina recalled, You nodded, walking into the car and saying goodbye, which could be for the last time.
~
Present Time
And you were moving back to your old state. The move to New York was good but your dad lost his job, he got a new one back where you used to live. You were slightly nervous that you would bump into people that you used to be friends with, mainly Regina.
You were nervous as you looked at your new school, moving into a new school in senior year was interesting but you couldn't really do anything about it. You walk inside the school and immediately feel out of place, like you don't belong.
You walk inside into a classroom that you think is your home room and the first thing you see is a girl dressed in all black, sitting on a table, with her feet up on an empty table beside her, you look at her for a second and you gasp when you realise who it is.
You walk up to her with a smile on your face, "Regina! Oh my god! It's been so long!" You exclaim, moving to sit next to her, she rolls her eyes at you, not moving her feet from the desk you were sitting at.
"Do I know you?" She asks, voice bitter, not sweet and caring like you remembered, "Yeah, we used to be friends-" you start but she cuts you off, "First off all, It was a rhetorical question, dumbass, second of all, I would never be friends with you." You frown at her words and get up and move from the desk, you were worried that you had mistaken her for someone else.
You later found out that it was Regina, you found out that she was a bitch, she was a bully and treated the whole school like shit.
But that was your old best friend and you were going to prove it to her, and you knew exactly how to do it.
It was lunch time and you walked into the cafeteria, you walked past everyone and they stared at you as you walked to the plastics table.
Regina started up at you as she felt your presence, she was about to tell you to fuck off but you beat her to it, you throw the necklace that she got you 9 years ago, for your birthday and she looked at it for a few seconds before she finally realised who you were. She stood up and grabbed your hand.
"Y/n." She whispered.

When You’re Gone
Tumblr media
(Ex!Boyfriend!Eddie Munson x Fem!Reader)
Summary: You go to one of Eddie’s shows and see him for the first time since you broke up and he’s willing to do anything to win you back. WK: 5.8K
Warnings: Slight angst in the beginning, mention of heart break/break ups, Eddie was kind of dick before the break up but he’s sweet through this entire thing, pining, unprotected sex, fingering, sixty nine, just a lil bit of choking, fluff fluff fluff, lmk if I missed any! 18+MDNI!!
A/N: So I’ve been missing Eddie a lot, I’ve been thinking about writing for him again off and on but the fear that I have from being bullied in this fandom has stopped me. But I guess all it took for me to break was seeing that ASSS so, I offer you this. Idk when I’ll write ST again, maybe it’ll be consistent, maybe it won’t. I guess this is a bit of a trial run. I put my HEART into this, I really kind of poured everything I’ve been feeling the last few months into writing this so that makes me extra nervous. But I hope you guys like it, I love u🖤
Tumblr media
You couldn’t believe you let Robin talk you into this. You hadn’t seen or talked to Eddie In months. Not since you stormed off the set of the music video he practically begged you to star in. He was being a gigantic snob the entire shoot. Telling you that “you weren’t doing it right” or “looks like we are going to have to shoot that again, can you get your head in the game, babe?” But the thing was your head was in the game and you were doing every single thing he asked exactly how he asked and yet it still wasn’t enough.
That was just the final straw. He had been acting like the sun revolved around him. Around his music. Around partying and blowing money just so he could brag about the shit he has. He started calling your friends and family back home less and less. Missing date nights. Forgetting anniversaries. He stopped telling you how beautiful you looked any chance he got and treating you like you were his everything because he had so much more than you now. Which you would never be upset about, you were and are still proud of him for every single thing he’s accomplished. But that problem was that he stopped being your Eddie almost entirely.
You hoped that it would pass, that it was just because it was all so new, the money, the fame, the adoration. But after almost two years it just continued to get worse and no matter how much you tried to bring it up to him he just reassured you time and time again that you meant everything to him. With no change. You couldn’t continue to give him everything while it felt like he virtually forgot you existed everyday. So you walked away, even though he was yelling after you, not because he wanted you to stay, but because he needed to get back on set and finish filming. You went back to your shared home, packed your things, and left.
Robin was more than happy to let you stay with her and her girlfriend while you got back on your feet. You couldn’t stay in L.A. without Eddie, he was all you had there. So you went back home to Indiana. To your friends and your family. Where you felt seen and you felt like you mattered again. But that didn’t take away the ache in your heart for him. The entire piece of you that felt like it was missing without him. Eddie had been a constant in your life since you were little.
You grew up together. You were both too stupid to get your heads out of your asses and admit how crazy you were about each other until you graduated highschool but you thought after that it would be forever. It’s always been you and him. You went through every phase, every hardship, every big life event with Eddie by your side. When him and the guys got that record deal you were more than happy to continue to stand by him through it all. But apparently he didn’t feel the same. Which felt like a stab in your chest day after day. You really did miss him so much. But you weren’t even sure if he missed you too.
Tumblr media
Eddie was sweating fucking buckets. He hasn’t been this nervous for a show in over a year, going up in front of all those people was a walk in the park to him at this point. But knowing you were going to be here tonight changes everything. He wants it to be perfect. He’s been working on this song for you since you left, just hoping that he would have a chance to play it for you. He didn’t want you to hear it on the radio, no, he wants you to hear it directly from him. He wants to see your face after. He wants to tell you how sorry he is for losing sight of the only thing that made all of this worth it. He just wants you.
Not a day has gone by since you left that he didn’t feel empty. He couldn’t do anything without thinking of you. His favorite restaurants were your favorite restaurants. His favorite movies were your favorite movies too. Your side of the bed being empty made him feel so lonely that he started just passing out on the couch every night to avoid looking at it. He stopped going to parties. Hardly ever saw anyone unless he had to go to the studio or play a show. Tour was awful, you were by his side through their entire debut tour so doing it without you felt like doing it without one of his guitar strings, or his arm.
The fans could tell he was less engaged. His record label was on his ass and so were the guys. He just couldn’t seem to shake you. At this point none of it even feels like it matters if he can’t have you. You’re all he wants and if he has to do all of this without you, if this is what ruined the two of you, part of him doesn’t even want it. A big part. He’s thought about dropping everything and just flying home to beg at your doorstep. But each time he talked himself out of it, not even sure if you’d want to see him.
But tonight? You were going to be here at his show and this was his chance to win you back. He would give it all up for you in an instant, all you had to do was ask and he would do it, no matter what it was. So when Robin called him and asked him to set aside an extra ticket for you he felt like this was the universe giving him another shot. He just hoped you would too.
Tumblr media
Your whole body was vibrating as you watched Eddie on stage, your heart felt like it was practically beating to the sound of his music, calling out to him. He looked good, really good, and as emotional as you are you still can’t deny the way your core throbs, and your thighs clench together at the sight of him. His hair was a perfect mess, the tattered at the knee jeans he was wearing fit him like a dream, and were reminiscent of the ones he used to wear, when he was your Eddie. Not the designer ones you’ve seen him in recently. He was wearing the battle vest you guys made in your first apartment before everything got chaotic and went to shit. With nothing under it. His tattooed chest and torso were on display and you noticed a few new additions. But your eyes nearly pop out of your head when they land on the little stick-n-poke heart with your initials in the middle that you gave him when you were 18 was touched up.
You can’t tear your eyes away from it for a good thirty seconds, just as they start to well up with tears you snap yourself out of it, looking up at his face again. This time locking eyes with him for the first time in nearly six months. Eddie’s soft chocolate eyes go wide and his fingers falter on the strings for half a second before he fucking smirks at you right as he picks up on the chorus. He keeps his eyes on you for the rest of the song, before announcing that they only had a few left.
Eddie is trying to focus on the crowd, focus on his chords, focus on anything but you, but it’s damn near impossible. His eyes just keep traveling back to you because he missed you so much, because you looked so fucking beautiful standing in the very front row under the stage lights and you were looking at him in a way that gave him hope. He made eye contact with a few fans, reached down to touch their hands, but no matter what he did he couldn’t keep his eyes off of you. When it came time to announce the second to last song he felt like his heart was going to beat out of his chest. His eyes lingered on yours for a moment before turning to address the crowd.
“Hey guys.” Cheers erupt all around you and Eddie smiles, flipping his sweaty hair back, making you and probably every other girl in the room swoon. “Thanks for coming out tonight, you’ve been fucking awesome. This next song is… well, it’s a new song. I mean, it’s new to you guys, I’ve been working on it for a while. So there’s this girl…” His eyes lock with yours again and your heart beats somehow even faster. “She’s here tonight and I really fucked things up with her, obviously some shitty song isn’t gonna erase all of that. But I guess this is just kind of my way of trying to make up for it. Or at least starting to.”
As the band plays the opening notes of the song you immediately notice it’s a lot slower and more melodic than their usual songs. They have a few other songs like this, love songs that Eddie wrote about you, happy ones. But this is nothing like that, especially when Eddie starts to sing. He never takes his eyes off of you as the lyrics fall from his lips, lyrics about how sorry he is, how badly he fucked up, how he misses you so much he feels like his soul is missing. He pours his heart out to you as his deep voice filled with longing fills the venue.
You can’t stop the silent tears that stream down your face, unable to tear your eyes away from his for even a second. Eddie Munson, the love of your life, the beautiful boy who you got to watch turn into an even more beautiful man, is standing in front of thousands of people practically begging you for another chance. And it’s like every dream you’ve had since you left coming true. All you wanted was for him to come back to you and apologize, maybe beg a little. You might be an idiot for holding out hope that he would, but you always knew in your heart that you’d take him back if he did. It might take some time for you to fully trust him again, but if he’s willing to try so are you.
As the song comes to an end Eddie thanks everyone, making the crowd go crazy. Then he announces that the next song will be their last before looking down at you again. The flashing lights dance over the tears streaming down your cheeks but you’re smiling at him and it makes his heart soar. And when you blow him a kiss that he of course catches, putting it close to his heart like he has a million times, he feels like a dorky teenager in love with his best friend again. He watches you disappear into the crowd and his heart falls, almost forgetting that he was even on stage performing, all he could see was you. He could hardly focus through the last song, hastily thanking everyone for coming because he was absolutely terrified that you left without even giving him a chance to talk to you face to face.
You push through the sea of sweaty bodies until you get to the far end of the stage, stopping in front of the security guard, who of course recognized you and let you pass without even glancing at the bracelet on your wrist. You run over to Robin, practically knocking her over.
“Whoa! Slow down dude, are you okay? That was… a lot.” Robin grabs onto your shoulders to center you, her eyes laced with concern.
“Yeah, I’m good, I’m uh - I’m gonna go wait for Eddie in his dressing room.” You bite your lip nervously, avoiding eye contact with her, scared of her reply.
“Oh thank god! I can’t wait to tell Steve the plan worked!” Robin’s eyes go wide as her hand comes to cover her mouth. “I meaaan…”
“You know what? I’m going to bug you about this later, but right now I have to go.”
“Yesss!!! Go get your man!!!”
You snort as you turn away from her, rushing down the hall until you see the door with Eddie’s name on it. You pace the room a few times before sitting down on the black leather couch, bouncing your leg so hard it makes the legs shake. The air feels especially humid as your nerves course through your body, the material of the couch sticking to your bare thighs with each bounce of your knee. You can’t stop messing with your hair, adjusting your top, fiddling your fingers. It’s probably only been ten minutes but it feels like it’s been an eternity when the door finally pushes open.
“Princess” Eddie stands in the doorway, looking stunned. His eyes are wide, and filled with adoration as his large ringed hand comes to rest against his chest. “Hi.”
“Hi Eddie.” You smile at him softly as you let out an almost dreamy sigh. “I liked your song.”
“Yeah?” He takes a few steps forward until there’s only a few feet between you. “I missed you. I’m so sorry, I was such a fucking idiot. I can’t believe I let you walk away.”
His eyes are sad as he casts them down, looking at his fingers as he fiddles with his rings. A classic tell tale sign that Eddie was nervous.
“And I totally get it if you don’t want anything to do with me still, I fucked up. Bad.”
“Eddie…” you sigh, standing up to close the remaining distance between you. You grab onto his hands, stopping his movements as you look up into his eyes. “Look at me.”
When he looks you in the eyes again his own are brimmed with tears, and his lip is quivering. And even though you’re still upset with him, all you want to do is comfort him. It was like second nature to you.
“I love you.” You say it so plainly, so matter of fact that it makes the tears flow down his cheeks, a heavy sob escape his chest. You grab onto his cheeks, pulling his forehead down to rest against yours. “I love you Eddie.”
“I love you. I love you so much. I miss you everyday. None of this is worth it without you. Everything feels so dull. Everything I do reminds me of you.” His hands come to rest over top of yours as his tears continue to flow, tears of your own now streaming down your face. “Please just give me a chance to make it up to you, sweetheart. I’ll do anything. I’ll leave it all behind. Never touch my guitar again. Cut off my arm. Anything.”
“Well, you don’t have to go doing all of that…” you chuckle, tilting your chin so you can connect his lips with your own. You pour everything into that kiss, your love for him, your hurt, your anger, your longing. And he does the same. Kissing you like he would die if he didn’t. You only pull away when you absolutely need to take a breath of air. Foreheads still connected as you pant against each other's lips, just inches apart.
“God I missed your lips, princess.” Eddie runs his hands down your face, cupping your jaw. “Missed every part of you.”
“I missed you too Eddie, god.” You kiss him again, this time running your tongue across his plush bottom lip. He immediately grants you access, intertwining your tongues with a groan. Your fingers come up to lace through his curls, and tug causing him to moan into your mouth. His hands travel down your body, resting on your hips, his thumbs just grazing that bit of skin between your top and your skirt. You push yourself further against him, moaning when his hands move to grab your ass.
“Baby, wait, don’t you think we should talk more?” He pulls away breathlessly tilting his head back so he can look at you.
“Later. We can talk later.” You take a few steps back, stumbling a little on your heeled boots as the backs of your knees hit the couch, you plop down, pulling Eddie down with you. He puts his hands on the back of the cushions on either side of your head so he can lean down over you, his face inches from yours, his hair almost acting like a curtain around you, shielding you from the outside world. “Kiss me again, please.”
“You don’t gotta beg, princess, I told you I’d do anything, didn’t I?” He smirks at you as kisses you again, slipping his tongue into your mouth. You moan as your fingers desperately grasp onto the sides of his vest, pulling him closer.
“Touch me, Eddie.” You whimper, leaning back to look up at him through your lashes, your lips are kiss swollen and your lipstick is all but nothing at this point.
“Baby, are you sure you don’t want to talk before we-“
“Eddie, I appreciate your chivalry, I really do. But you said anything, right? I want, need, to feel your fingers again, please.” And how could he resist you, when you’re looking at him like that? And your skirt is pushed so far up your legs he can see your little lace panties, his favorite pair, if he isn’t mistaken. He would literally lick the bottom of your boots if you asked him to.
“I told you that you don’t have to beg, doll, I’m the one that should be begging for the privilege of being able to touch you.” He smirks, planting a sloppy kiss on your lips before kissing down your jaw, to your throat, leaving little nips along the way. “Missed this body so much.”
One of his hands grabs onto the top of your thigh, his thumb running over your slit through the thin lace of your panties pulling a soft moan from your lips.
“Missed this pussy so much.” He grazes over your clit before applying light pressure, rubbing circles on it with the pad of his thumb. “You’re so wet for me already, your body missed me too, huh sweetheart?”
“Yes, missed you so much, baby.” You pull him down further so that his free hand is resting on the cushion next to you and his neck and jaw were close enough to kiss and suck bruises into. “Mine, mine, mine.”
“All yours.” He chuckles as pushes your panties to the side, circling two fingers around your entrance and curling them upwards, stroking them against your sweet spot immediately. “Oh, you’re so fucking tight, practically sucking me in.”
“My fingers were never be as good as yours - ohmyfuckinggod.” A loud moan rips through you and your head falls back against the couch as he starts to thrust his fingers quickly in and out of your dripping hole. His thumb finds your clit, circling it in time with his fingers as his lips attach to your neck, giving you a mark of his own.
“Never have to live without them again if you don’t want to, I’ll worship this pussy everyday until I die if you’ll let me.” Eddie kisses down your chest, using his free hand to push your little tank top and bra down, freeing your tits. He kisses across the tops of them, leaving gentle open mouth kisses on both your peaked nipples before licking between the valley of them. He slides his tongue over so he can latch onto one of your nipples and it sends you over the edge.
“Ohhh fuck! Eddie! I’m cumming, I’m fucking cumming.” Your pussy clenches around his fingers as he continues to thrust them deep and fast into you.
“Yeah, that’s it, baby girl, cum for me. You look so fucking beautiful.” He kisses your cheek before leaning up and pulling his fingers from you. He holds eye contact with you as he sucks them into his mouth with a groan. “Just as sweet as I remember.”
“Eddie, please fuck me, I need you.” Your legs are still spread, your glistening pussy practically calling his name, framed perfectly by those little panties that he loves so much like a work of fucking art. The way your shirt and bra are pushed down under your tits is making them look irresistible. He leans down, resting both of his hands on your knees, and smiles at you in a way that makes your stomach flip.
“You have no idea how fucking badly I want you right now, but can I take you back to my hotel? I wanna take my take with you.” He nuzzles his nose against yours before sliding it along your cheek, placing a soft kiss there.
“Okay, yeah, that sounds good.” You’re breathless and so fucking horny but the idea of getting to fuck Eddie in a bed, where you would be totally alone, sounded a lot more appealing than fucking him in a dressing room where anyone could walk in.
Tumblr media
You grab onto Eddie’s vest and push it off his body the minute the door to his hotel room is shut behind you. You take his face in your hands, your eyes shining as you look up at him while you rub your thumbs across his temples.
“You’re so beautiful Eddie.” You coo at him, running your hands down his chest.
“I like your new tattoos… and this.” You run your pointer finger across the band of his pants before tracing the little heart on his hip. “When did you do this?”
“Uh - A few weeks ago.” He grabs the hand tracing along his hip and takes it in his own, bringing it up to his lips so he can place a gentle kiss on the back of it. “I was getting this other tattoo and my artist asked if I wanted to cover it up. I laughed at him and told him to touch it up instead.”
“Eddie… you feel heat rise in your cheeks as butterflies erupt in your stomach. “I want you so bad.”
“Yeah, pretty girl? I told you I’m all yours.” He grabs onto your hips, pulling you back toward the bed so he can sit on the edge of it with you between his spread legs. “Gonna worship this body, show you how much I missed you.”
He grips onto your shoulders rubbing them gently for a moment before hooking his fingers in the straps of your bra and tank top, pulling them down your shoulders. He leans forward, kissing along your bare collar bone as one of his hands snakes around under your skirt to grab a hand full of your ass.
“Missed these perfect tits.” He takes them in his hands, squeezing them, before he grabs onto the hem of your shirt and pulls it over your head. He reaches behind you to undo your bra, his fingertips gently gliding over your skin with each touch. He took his time taking your skirt off, kissing every inch of exposed skin he could until you were completely bare before him. “So fucking perfect, baby doll.” He grips onto your ass looking up at you with his bottom lip between his teeth. “Need to taste that sweet pussy.”
“Take your pants off first.” You reach forward and undo his belt before working on his button and zipper, popping them open to reveal his thick cock covered by the material of his boxers. He lifts his hips so you can pull them down to his ankles and you bend down to unlace his boots.
“Fuck, you look so sexy, makes me think about that time I made you hump my boot…” Eddie smirks down at you as he takes your face in his palm and runs his thumb along your bottom lip. It makes your pussy flutter around nothing.
“Yeah, that was one of the hottest things you’ve ever done, if I’m being honest.” You giggle before flicking your tongue out to run it along the pad of his digit.
“Jesus Christ, get up here before I bust from just looking at you.” Eddie grabs your hand, pulling you back up to your feet before kicking his pants off the rest of the way. He lays back on the bed, patting his chest. “Sit on my face, princess. Your throne missed you.”
You stand there for a moment, just looking at him. He keeps telling you how perfect you are but he doesn’t even realize how truly perfect he is. The way he was smiling at you like you hung the stars, his ink covered arms that are more toned now than when you were younger, along with his more broad chest that’s now nearly covered in tattoos. Your eyes travel down his torso to his happy trail, the v lines on his hips, and settle on the way that his cock is straining in his boxers. He was lying there, so perfect, calling his face your throne, and he is just so your Eddie.
“You good, sweetheart? Or are you hypnotized by my otherworldly handsomeness?” Eddie wiggles his eyebrows at you, leaning back on his elbows. You know he’s trying to be goofy but it only makes you even more desperate for him. You climb onto the bed to straddle him, your bare pussy resting on top of his cock, only separated by the thin material of his boxers.
“Yeah, I just really fucking need you.” You grind down on him, pulling a groan from him as you lean down to lick across his lips, sucking on the bottom one before pulling away with a pop.
“Fuck, get up here, now.”
He pats his chest and his tone has you clenching around nothing. He grips onto your ass, jiggling it in his hands before landing a smack on one of your cheeks. You moan as you scoot up so that your thighs are resting on either side of his head with your pussy hovering just over his mouth. Eddie wraps his arms around your legs, pulling you down so he can bury his face in between your legs. He licks a long stripe along your wet slit before circling your clit with his tongue.
“Oh - fuckingshit - feels so good.” You moan as he shoves his tongue as deep as he can inside you, flicking it against your inner walls.
“Yeah, that’s my good girl, missed this sweet fucking pussy so much.” He swirls his tongue inside you before he brings it up to your clit again, licking it with the flat of his tongue. He sucks your clit and your pussy lips into his mouth, causing your eyes to roll back.
“That’s so fucking good, yeah, eat my fucking pussy.” You lean back resting your hands on his thighs as you start to grind down on his face. You bring one of your hands to his cock, stroking him through his boxers, chasing him to moan even louder into your pussy. “Fuck, Eddie, I wanna taste you.”
You push yourself up off of his face and he looks up at you with a pout but before he can even protest you’re throwing one of your legs over his head so you can flip around and straddle his face reverse cowgirl.
“Oh jesusfuckingchrist, baby.” Eddie groans, grabbing onto both of your ass cheeks and jiggling the meat of them in his hands. You hook your fingers in the band of his boxers so you can pull his cock free, spitting on your palm and taking it in your hand. “Fuck.”
“Need to taste you too, baby.” You lean down, flicking your tongue out to leave little kitten licks on his tip before sucking it between your lips.
“God damn, princess, fucking missed your mouth so much.” Eddie moans as he uses his grip on your ass to pull your pussy down on his face again, burying his tongue deep inside.
You take him further down your throat, swirling your tongue around his shaft and using your hand to stroke what isn’t in your mouth. Eddie eats your pussy like a man starved, bringing his lips to your clit as he inserts two of his thick fingers inside you.
“Yes, yes, that’s so good, you’re gonna make me cum.” You pull off of him continuing to use your hand to stroke his spit soaked cock. He picks up the speed of his fingers as he sucks on your clit even harder. “Oh god - I’m - I’m fucking cumming!”
Your walls clench around his fingers and your thighs squeeze around his head as your high washes over you, loud moans and the sound of your wet pussy filling the room. Eddie doesn’t stop until you’re pulling off of him because it becomes too much. He grips onto your hips, flipping you over into your back before covering your body with his own. He connects your lips in a heated kiss, his lips and chin still slick with your wetness as you taste yourself in his tongue.
“Need to be inside of you, fuck.”
“Yes, please please fuck me, I need to feel you.” Eddie uses one hand to grip onto the base of his cock, running the tip through your folds before pushing it inside you. “Oh, god.”
“Shit baby, you’re so fucking tight, so fucking wet.” Eddie grunts as he bottoms out inside of you, pushing his hips flush against yours before pulling almost all the way out and slamming into you even harder. He starts to fuck you hard and fast, one of his hands on your hip while the other wraps around your neck just tightly enough.
“Yeah, fucking choke me, missed your hands around my throat, missed you, fuck.” Eddie picks up the pace, his hips smack loudly against yours as the hand on your hips moves down so he can rub circles in your clit.
“Fuck, baby girl, missed you too, missed this fucking pussy. Gonna fill you up, need you to cum for me.” The hand around your throat squeezes just a little tighter as his lips crash against yours. Your hands are gripping onto his shoulders so tight you wouldn’t be surprised if your nails break the skin. His circles on your clit never let up as he tilts his hips so he’s hitting your sweet spot just right.
“Oh - my fucking - fuck, I’m cumming I’m fucking cumming.” Your pussy squeezes him like a vise grip as you run your nails down his back.
“Gonna cum too, baby, gonna fill this pussy up so good. Never quitting you. Gonna marry you someday.” Eddie’s thrusts grow sloppy until he’s pushing his hips flush against yours and emptying inside of you. He buries his face in your neck, rocking his hips slowly as he rides out his high. He lets his body rest on top of yours, placing gentle kisses on your neck. You bring your hands to his head and lace your fingers through his hair so you can lightly scratch his scalp.
“I love you, Eddie.” You sigh, dreamily. “I know we have some stuff to work through, and talk about, but I’d really like to make it work. You really wanna marry me someday?”
“What!” Eddie pushes up on his hands, so he can look at you, a big goofy smile on his face. “Of course I wanna fucking marry you! It’s only been the plan since we were 8 and I gave you that ring I won with arcade tickets.”
“I just… I don’t know, I thought maybe you got sick of me and that’s why…”
“Baby…” Eddie’s voice suddenly sounds a little sad, maybe guilty. “That was never… I would never, fuck. Hold on.”
He gets up off the bed so he can find his vest, he picks it up off the ground and pulls something from the pocket before coming back to sit next to you on the bed.
“Can you sit up for me?” You sit up in front of him, looking at him with a raised eyebrow and a pout on your lips. “I got this… well, I got this a few months before you left and I was just waiting for the right time, ya know? And honestly it never came because I had my head so up my own ass that I wasn’t making the time. But uh - I want you to have it. Even if you don’t say yes, I got it for you, so it’s yours…”
He opens his hand to reveal a little black square box and when he opens it, sitting inside is the most beautiful ring you’ve ever seen. Set in the middle is a big shiny ruby, bracketed by two little bat wings on each side that lead into the band. It was perfect, you’ve been telling him practically your whole lives that if someone proposed to you with a boring ass dimond you would say no, no matter how big it was.
“Eddie…” Your eyes well up with tears as your bottom lip quivers. “Is that really for me?”
“Princess.” He chuckles, reaching a hand out to wipe away a stray tear that escaped. “Of course it’s for you. It’s always been you. And it always will be. Even if you don’t want me back.”
“Eddie, I - yes.” You smile widely at him, wrapping your hand around his wrist so you can turn your head to place a kiss there. “It’s always you, you’re the only one for me. You have a lot of making up to do… and it might take me some time to get fully over all of this but… I still wanna marry you. It’s you and me, till the day we die, stab a goblin in the eye.”
“Yeah baby.” He chuckles, a few tears of his own streaming down his face. You still wanted him. You were going to take his ring. You were sitting here in front of him more beautiful and grown than ever, repeating the words that you had said to each other as kids more times than he could count. “Till the day we die.”
He pulls the ring from the box and you offer him your left hand so he can slide it on your finger. You both smile widely and teary eyed at each other as he pulls you into a kiss. This one is different, this one is full of promise and hope and it’s like coming home. He rests his forehead against yours as he rubs the apples of your cheeks with his thumbs.
“Stab a goblin in the eye.” He chuckles, smiling widely as he places another gentle kiss on your lips.

I set myself on fire to keep you warm.
Pairing: f. reader/Bakugo Katsuki.
tw: mention of break up, mention of violence but not described because bakugo isn't a bad boy, soft and persistent bakugo. SMUT +18 minors don't interact. (Soft sex)
a/c: the end of this trilogy, I hope you liked it 💕
Part 1
Part 2
Tumblr media
After the party, you didn't see him for a while. At least two weeks. A group of villains attacked his quadrant for a week straight unfolding in pairs each day. Even Shoto, your new partner, had to change teams and do a backup job.
The truth was that you were dying to know about him, and that felt wrong.
Friday came quickly, and so your day off. You were parking outside of your house, bringing the grocery bag with you and some little things you found that could work with your new home decoration. You even bought flowers for your new vessel.
Quickly, you turned the tv on, not expecting to see Bakugo in action, defeating a giant villain on the screen. The scenery was already controlled by the pros, Deku, Chargerbolt, and Cellophane were there, working as a team.
You changed the channel looking for a reality show, something that didn't remind you of your ex and everything that occupied your mind since the last time you saw him, like calling him, for example.
Silly girl knows better, right? But, what if he was hurt?
You shook your head and poured a glass of wine in a cup. That glass of wine turned in two, and when you noticed what was happening the bottle was already empty.
You scrolled through your socials, the guys were headline in almost every page, even the group chat of endeavor agency made a special shout out to them, filling your phone with photos of him in high definition.
You: I think I'm going to do something I might regret.
You waited for the response from Mina but nothing happened. You could blame her later for what was about to happen.
His contact was opened on your screen, the green button functioning as a magnet to your fingers. What was the harm in calling him? You could just ask about the fight, professionally purpose only, to gather techniques. After all, you were a little rusty in battle combat.
You were just making excuses not to feel like a shitty person. You needed to get your head clear but right now you were about to cry. Damn, you missed the bastard.
That was the hint you needed to press the button.
It ringed, one, two, three times.
"Hello?" He asked, agitated.
You felt nostalgic. After every big fight, he liked to steam some stamina off. To cool it down, like he used to say.
"If this a fucking prank you'll hear from me, I'll blast your shitty ass to-
"Hey," your voice sounded light.
You could hear how he dropped the weight he was lifting.
"Is that you?" He murmured, not believing. Maybe it was a prank from one of his friends. No, they would never do that to him. They feared him enough.
"Mmhm," you nodded even if he couldn't see you.
Silence flowed in the line. It was awkward, but not in the bad way. It was awkward for Bakugo, at least, because he never expected to be you when to phone rang. He knew that he had to be the one trying, but right now, after the party, after the fight, he was just taking his time to think about his next step.
"Are you drunk?" He asked straightforwardly.
"What? No!" You tried to defend yourself, but the uncommon pitch in your tone gave you away.
"You sound like it." You could feel his smug smile appearing on his face.
"I'm not gonna lie. I had this bottle of wine, and it just poofed itself out of existence, " you sighed. You were tipsy, but you knew exactly what you were doing.
He barked a laugh. A real one. The kind of laugh that made you feel it inside your bones. The kind of laugh that you missed for an entire year.
"It seems to me that you just chugged the bottle all by yourself." The tone in his voice was playful and his mind started to get those memories where you used to call him everytime you went out with your friends, finding a way to leave your friends alone and sneak to the bathroom or some place quiet just to hear his voice and tell him to pick you up earlier.
"How do you know that I'm by myself?"
The question made him shake his head.
"If you were with Mina or with somebody else, you wouldn't have called." He was probably right, you thought to yourself, Mina would've melted your phone down with acid before you even thought of calling your ex.
He liked the way that conversation flowed. With you, the talking about everything, the expressing, the feeling, everything was so easy for him. He felt nostalgic and eager to win you back. He needed this in his life, and he needed you.
"For the record, I warned Mina that I was going to do something stupid"
"Do you think this is stupid?" He pried for your answer. The moments you were taking to answer something so simple got him on the edge of the gym bench. "No bullshit, okay? Because I don't think this is stupid at all"
You closed your eyes for an instant, trying to think aside from the alcohol boost. You needed to get your mind clear because you had this idea in your mind, but once the idea left your mind, it was over for you and for him. In a good way.
"Why don't you pick up your stuff and come home already?"
...
To say that it took him ten minutes to arrive at your house is just an exaggeration. He made it in seven when most people took at least twenty. You were waiting for him in the front porch, the same porch that he paced over and over the first time he saw you in a year. You were standing there, with your arms crossed in front of your chest because the night was cold, but, you wanted to be there to see him, to wait for him, and to feel the excitement that was seeing him after a long day or in this case, week.
He saw your figure from his car. The tinted glass did him a favor. He was sweating. He couldn't stop rubbing his hands in his pants to ease the feeling of wetness and couldn't stop looking at you while doing it. Bakugo realized that he was taking much time regulating himself so he turned off the car and breathed three times to try to calm his heartbeat. It didn't work. He never had been that pented up about something, not an interview, not even a fight, but now his heart was about to explode.
You waved your hand at the sight of him. He didn't reciprocated but instead, he stomped to your front yard, opening the small gate that led to your garden. He climbed one step and the other so his face would be at the same level from your face.
"Hi," you said again, smiling fondly. God, you've missed him.
"Hey princess," he used the same petname that he has called you since he met you.
"Do you want to come in? Or should I go for myself so you can stay and find my spare key and use it? " You asked jokingly. He rolled his eyes but smiled a bit. "I swear that it's in a better spot, I hid it so well this time, you'll never going to find it"
"I bet you bought those fake ass rocks online and put it underneath it"
He knew you like the palm of his hand. You looked shocked, but he was just smug about it. Bakugo found it cute how you could be so naive with your antics and how he could easily read you even in the most idiotic things.
"Fuck, it's always so hard with you. Not my fault that you have such a big brain. " You flicked his forehead, and he was quickly to take your hand in his.
"Not my fault you don't even try"
That was sort of a deja vù. You used to fight on and on when you were in UA. Aizawa sensei loved putting you and him in spare combat that mostly ended up in the both of you yelling at each other. That line was one that you two used the most when he got you pinned down to the floor mat.
You laced your fingers with his fingers and led him inside your house. The TV was on, replaying one of your favorite episodes from your comfort series. He could recite the complete episode without missing a word because he was there every time you put it on his tv.
"You are watching this crap again?" He said mockingly.
"It's a classic, and I needed to do all the things I usually do when I have a bad idea in mind in order to keep it out, but right now, the bad idea is standing right in front of me" you stuck your tongue out and he pinched your nose a little giving you a peak of his soft side.
The vibe was thrilling. It felt like static vibrating his and your heart. You could feel his presence in your skin, aching for his touch, and he could feel your delicacy and love, always wearing your heart upon your sleeve.
"I'm going to make you some food so you can worn the booze off," he walked like he owned the place and moved around your kitchen gracefully, knowing exactly where you placed all the pots and ingredients.
The mere fact that he was there, like old times, made you feel butterflies in your stomach. The domestic treat of him taking care of you never got old in your senses. You had your moment, running away after the argument and the bad mental time that you were having because of lack of reasoning, then you completely ghosted him, trying to put in the past six years like he was nothing. And there he was, acting like nothing ever happened.
"These are very rare. Where did you get them?" He asked, lifting one of the ingredients and taking you out of your dissociation.
"Mhm, I don't remember," you told him, sparing a glance to the object. You walked towards him until you were by his side.
"What?" He said, contemplating your gaze.
You softened your face, and tears pricked at the corner of your eyes. Alcohol made you emotional.
"I'm so sorry," you told him.
His body was stiff, like a rock, but his emotions were blossoming in his face. He turned off the stove and passed his right arm behind your neck, pulling you to his broad chest. He took the chance that you weren't seeing him to give himaself out, exposing every feeling and every thought he had been running in his mind for the past year.
"I'm sorry too, baby," he murmured in your head. "I was supposed to be by your side, and I failed, I was a bad excuse of a boyfriend"
"I should've never abandoned you," you cried.
"I wasn't the one you deserved," he explained. "Right now, I know I am, fuck, I would even set myself on fire to keep you warm, to keep you by my side, to make you happy"
Your tears stained his shirt, leaving marks all over his pecs. He placed gentle kisses in your hair, soothing every regret and remorse out of your system.
You pulled yourself out of his embrace to look at him in the eyes.
"I never stopped loving you," you whispered.
He looked at you like you were his dreams come true. His eyes were glossy, wandering every inch of your face, looking for maybe a mistake, for you backing out of what you just said, but he didn't find a trace of guilt. You were genuine.
He couldn't keep it anymore.
His lips graced yours carefully, waiting for you to flinch or for a reaction so he could stop, but once again, you were eager too, you wanted him in every possible way.
Your lips smashed together, tearing apart all your armors. His lips graced yours, and his tongue made his way to your lips, tracing patterns until you opened for free access. He was desperate to taste you. You grabbed the collar of his shirt, pulled him closely, and then moved your hand to his neck, tugging the baby hairs of the nape of his neck.
"I like your new hairstyle" you mentioned in between sloppy kisses.
"Yeah?" He asked lost in you.
"It's different, shorter in the sides, you look pretty hot," you giggled when his smug smile crashed in your lips. "Don't let that compliment get over your head please"
"Oh, it's already there," he said, grabbing your thighs with one hand and tapping your lower back for you to jump.
You jumped, and he catched you without any effort, putting you on the kitchen table. Even with that boost of inches, you were just the same height as him, looking him straight in the eyes. His mouth was swollen and red, and your lipstick smuged in his lips. Before you could wipe it off, his lips found your neck, and he started kissing and nipping.
"Oh my, Katsuki," you moaned, he grunted at the sense that you were not able to control yourself anymore.
"Damn baby, I don't how I lived without you like this"
You locked your legs on his lower back, leaving him against your core, making you feel the heartbeat of your two members pulsing against each other.
His dick was already twitching in his pants and you were wet just for a few kisses. The time apart made its job. You weren't sure if you could take much time without feeling him completely inside of you.
"Baby" you panted. "I need you, like right now"
He always liked you when you mouthed your desires. It wasn't so common of you, so when it happened, it pented him up even more.
Beneath all the anger and sadness that he felt because of you leaving him, it was this Katsuki, the one who was like a kid with you, the one that could forgive you for everything you do knowing that you wouldn't do anything to hurt him. If you were right here with him, that was enough for him to put all his trust with you again.
You wouldn't leave him either.
Katsuki could feel you writhing against his body. After your plead, he detached his lips out of your neck and moved his hands to undone his pants first, taking all the breath of your lungs because the sight of his cock.
"Shit," you murmured to yourself, but his side smile made you notice that he heard that too.
Without any words, he grabbed your waist to pull you more to the edge of the kitchen table, positioning you to make you two more comfortable. After that, he decided that it was better for the two of you to take you on the kitchen stool, so he grabbed your ass and, without even thinking of it, nor even warning you, he took you and left you sitting in front of him.
"Are you sure?" His voice low ringed in your ears. You didn't want anyone but him. You nodded, allowing him to take off your pajamas shorts. "Open your legs," he demanded, and you obeyed.
In mere seconds, you were exposed to him. Glistening eyes wandered your body like it was sculptured by gods.
God damned him if he loses you again.
Putting his forehead against yours, he aligned himself in your entrance. He showered your nose with little pecks, trying to dissipate the growing but pleasant pain inside you.
"Fuck" you moaned against his lips and he swallowed all your pants like it was an elixir.
"You feel so good, baby," he muttered, buckling his hips into you.
He made it slow at first, but then, you could feel his balls slapping, putting the perfect amount of friction that you needed to be close to cloud nine. You were aching for him, following his pace to make it more delectable. He bit your shoulder to release some stamina and last a little longer, but he couldn't fool no one. His balls were tightened, trying to suppress the instinct to free his load inside you.
"I wont last long" he assured. "It's been a year"
His faint breath against your shoulder made you shiver.
"What? You didn't-"
"No. I tried, " He answered before you could even ask.
"Did you?"
You were curious. You couldn't blame yourself for wanting to know what did Katsuki in your year outside.
"I mean, I tried to date but never made it to the date part. Deku tried to set me up once, but I never showed"
That was kinda sad for the other person, waiting for him and getting nothing but an empty seat.
"I went out a few times, but I always ended up talking about you" you added in between pumps. "Even from a distance you cockblocked me"
He grunted low, almost devilish, like it was everything he ever wanted.
"That's what I needed to hear, that this little pussy is just f'me" he said in the shell of your ear giving you full of his length, filling you nicely and touching with the head of his dick your g-spot repeatedly.
"Shit, fuck, Katsuki-" you were out of breath. He was riding you nice and slowly. "Keep going, keep going, shit"
"Fucking, fuck god"
His seeds sprouted inside yourself, painting your walls with white stripes. Your core squeezing his cock in a way that got him almost gripping to the kitchen table.
You couldn't keep your thoughts in your mind while your orgasm crashed with his together in an instant. He grabbed you by the hair, pulling it back to leave you exposed to him. Panting against your neck, he closed the distance, giving you little kisses in your throat while caressing your thighs with his other hand, your legs trembling on each side of his body.
"A year is too much," you said, touching the locks oh his hair. He let go of your hair just to look at your eyes. You looked exactly how you looked when he fucked your brains out.
"From now on, you're not leaving my side if you want to go and find yourself, we'll find you together"
He was dead serious, but the look on his face made you extremely happy so you couldn't hide your smile.
"I don't need to find me anymore, I know exactly who I am and what I want," you said, trying to give him all sense of security back. He never doubted your words.
That night was his dream came true. You, half naked, against his chest in his big ass bed that he once thought it was too big for him alone, your legs intertwined with his, soft pants leaving your lips. You wouldn't go anywhere.
He knew that, eventually, you would be like this with him. He knew that he needed to be better for him and for you first. He knew that time would patch everything up and make you come back. He knew that this time, he would do everything in his hands to make you happy.
What he didn't know is that you were counting the days to make your way back to him.
He was absorbed in his thoughts while you sleep soundly in his arms. Thinking about the future, to be better, thinking about the past, to not making the same mistakes. He couldn't wait to spend the rest of his life with you, and also, he couldn't wait to rub the news to Deku and to make him feel like a loser for setting him up with a poor girl who never stood a single chance.

Between Us Pt 8
Summary: You and Spencer had a casual relationship. A misunderstanding ruins it all.
Pairing: Spencer Reid × F. BAU Reader
Warnings: Friends with benefits. Pregnancy.
Part 7
See my Masterlist Here
Three Months Later
A white frosted cake decorated with a hand drawn baby on it sat in front of you. Penelope was thrilled to be god mother to your baby, and she wanted to do a gender reveal party. You didn't mind and she was excited, so you and Spencer let her plan this little get together at Rossi's.
You held the knife alongside Spencer, bringing it down to slice the cake. When the piece was cut, you held a plate as he placed the cake on it, revealing pink bread. Penelope squealed "It's a girl!" Spencer hugged you, "I told you." He said, beaming. You had been convinced you were having a boy, but Spencer said he had a feeling the baby was a girl.
"About time we had a girl in the family! She will have all these boys wrapped around her finger in no time." JJ hugged you, nodding towards Jack and Henry running around the yard. Everyone congratulated you while the cake was being served. You were finally starting to show, your baby bump looked huge in your normal clothes. But in the maternity clothes you bought a few days ago, it looked small.
Spencer took you shopping over the weekend when he found you crying because your jeans wouldn't button anymore. He went all out, splurging on a new wardrobe. He even got you two pairs of shoes because your feet were starting to swell especially after work.
Tears welled in your eyes as you watched your coworkers interact with each other. You really loved them like family. Well, everyone except for Ashley who was noticeably absent tonight. You heard a rumor she wasn't happy at the BAU and was looking to transfer. You hoped it was true. She had been nicer to you after her talk with Hotch when she pushed you. You still didn't like her, only tolerating her because you had too.
It was getting late, and you were tired, so you went to take a small nap on Rossi's sofa. You found Penelope sitting there playing on her phone. She told you to lay your head in her lap while she shopped. She was already ordering the baby frilly dresses and matching headbands. You closed your eyes, drifting off pretty quickly.
When you woke up, Morgan was carrying you to the car. You and Spencer had been staying the night with each other for months. You fell back into your old situationship. The pregnancy hormones made you insatiable. Spencer was happy to help you, but you didn't want to get too close to him again. He had hurt you, and you were still offended that he only wanted to be with you because you were pregnant. He tried to argue, but you know that's what it was.
When you got back to Spencer's apartment, you took a quick shower. A new episode of your favorite show was coming on soon. You and Spencer cuddled on the couch watching it. When it was over, he took you to bed, making love to you twice before work the next morning.
A/N: If you have any ideas for a baby name, let me know!! ♥️

FIC INSPIRED PLAYLIST <3
“Did I fuck it up again? Are we destined to be friends? I wanna give you more than that” —Be Around Me, Will Joseph Cook
Kai and the boys have been in Japan for two days now, but with the amount of times that he has you on the phone, it feels like he never even left. Even if he refuses to talk about what happened at the album party, things are going pretty well between you and him.
You’re about to head out the door when your phone rings. You don’t even need to check the caller ID.
“Y/N, you didn’t call! The show’s about to start and you didn’t call!” Kai’s voice rings out of your phone’s speaker. While you can tell he’s mostly joking, he’s also a little worked up.
“Kai, we just talked, like, two hours ago. You know I have that date tonight.” Oh, he knows.
“Yeah, but I like when you call right before I’m about to go on stage. You’re my good luck charm.”
“You’re just being superstitious.”
“I wish you could see me pouting right now.” His sad puppy dog visuals pop into your head.
“Ugh, fine,” you relent. “You’re going to do amazing, Hyuka. Fighting!”
“That’s my girl!” he laughs, immediately ready to give his all on the stage. “I miss you so much.”
His affection catches you off guard and you go quiet.
“Hello?” he asks. “Y/N, are you there?”
“Yeah, sorry, I’m still here. Call me back so I can know how it went, okay?”
“You know I will,” he assures you. There’s obvious disappointment in his voice.
“Hueningie, it’s time to go!” you hear Taehyun call in the background.
“I have to go. Bye. Have fun on your date!”
“Bye,” you say. He ends the call and you feel an ache in your stomach. You miss him too, so why couldn’t you have just said it back?
When you finally get out the front doors of your building, Seongjin’s already waiting for you, flowers in hand. You note his outfit, something similar to what you have pinned on your “boyfriend manifestation” moodboard.
“Hey,” he says, holding the bouquet out to you. “These are for you.”
“They’re lovely,” you smile, bringing them to your nose to sniff them. You love the smell of roses. “I don’t think anybody’s ever gotten me flowers before.”
“Well, there’s more where that came from.” Seongjin’s hand finds its way into yours. He’s bold and romantic, even dressing exactly how you’d like him to. He’s checking off all of your boxes, and yet something feels off.
As the two of you walk towards the city’s center, you actually have no clue what he’s planned for tonight until he stops outside of a restaurant that you’ve had on your bucket list for years now.
“You’re joking!” you say in disbelief. “You have to get a reservation months in advance to eat here, and even then it’s impossible.”
“I called in a few favors,” he grins, holding the door open for you. You blush, wondering what you’ve done to deserve even a fraction of the effort he’s gone through.
The dinner’s going okay. There’s just something about the way that Seongjin’s meticulously planned everything, even his responses to your small talk, that makes you suspicious. He feels too perfect, almost unreal.
You find yourself focusing more on the delicious food than on any of what he’s been saying.
“You know,” he starts, “I only went to that album party because I knew you’d be there.”
The hint of Seongjin speaking in a less rehearsed way grabs your attention. You look up to see him grinning.
“No, you didn’t,” you laugh, dismissing him. “You probably didn’t even know who I was before Yeonjun introduced us.”
“Of course I did. I’ve thought you were cute for a while now. The way you’re always running around with your arms full of clothes. I can’t wait to debut so you can dress me up.”
You can’t believe that anybody had even noticed you around the building, let alone taken a romantic interest. If only somebody else felt that way.
“Well, does that mean you’re not a big fan of TXT?” you ask, sipping your wine. You’re mostly joking, but also curious what his honest opinion of the group is.
“I mean, obviously, I think my uncle makes great songs for them. But besides Yeonjun, I don’t think they’re the kind of guys I’d really hang out with, you know?”
Your face heats up at his answer and your energy shifts. “No, I don’t know. Care to explain?”
“The other guys just seem so dorky. Not to mention half of them were wasted at a work event. Like that Huening kid whose outburst interrupted our conversation. What was that about anyway?”
“It’s none of your business,” you scoff, setting your silverware down. “And he’s not a kid. He’s almost twenty-two.”
“Look, Y/N, I know you’re close with them. I didn’t mean to make you upset. We don’t have to talk about this anymore.”
“You’re right, we don’t,” you say, standing up and gathering your things. “Thank you for dinner. I’ll see you around, I guess.”
On your way home, you start to wonder if you’ve made a mistake blowing off someone so well connected, but the way he talked about your friends makes your blood boil.
Then again, things had been going just fine before then. Maybe you should’ve just smiled and nodded like you usually do. You’re not sure when you’ll ever get asked on another date again, let alone one that was planned so well.
Suddenly, your phone rings and for some reason, you answer. “What do you want now, Kai?!” you snap into the speaker.
“Whoa,” an unexpected voice replies, dragging out the word. “Actually, it’s Yeonjun.”
“Ugh, I’m sorry,” you groan, embarrassed at your attitude. “Hi, Jun.”
“So, I’m guessing your date didn’t go very well?”
“I think I’m going to get fired,” you huff, finally reaching your building again.
“That bad, huh? Tell me what happened.”
“I don’t know. He’s handsome and thoughtful and everything I could ask for really, but there wasn’t any sort of spark. Plus he called everyone in the group except you dorky, and that’s when I just got up, thanked him, and left.”
“Everyone else is dorky, Y/N. You really couldn’t wait until the end of dinner because of that?”
“Fine, it’s stupid when I say it out loud. But the damage is already done,” you sigh, digging through your purse for your keys.
“I’m sure he’d reconsider if you apologize,” he reasons with you. You’re not sure that you actually have anything to be sorry about.
“I shouldn’t have to! He was making fun of Kai!” That’s it, you realize. That’s the reason you’re so upset. Of course this is somehow about him.
“Ah, I see now,” Yeonjun says, dropping the issue. “Well, hopefully you won’t run into him at work much.”
“Hopefully,” you agree. “How was the show?”
“It was amazing,” he muses. “I really played off the crowd’s energy, and they loved my solo stage.”
“That’s awesome, Jun,” you smile back. Ever since you and Kai have grown closer, it’s felt like Yeonjun has taken a backseat. “Anything interesting happen?”
“Soobin tried to do the Water challenge,” he laughs. “We all ran to cover him up, though. Beomgyu played the guitar, and MOA kept mentioning how Taehyun looked like Ash Ketchum.”
“Maybe you guys need to do a Pokémon concept,” you think out loud. You don’t fail to notice that Yeonjun has conveniently left out Kai from his recap, as if he’s testing to see whether you’ll bring him up first.
“Would I get to be a fire type trainer?” Yeonjun asks. So, he really isn’t going to mention how Kai did tonight. You bite your lip, resisting the urge to ask about him.
“Yes, of course. I think Soobin would be water, Beomgyu grass, and Taehyun psychic. Actually, wait. Maybe Beomgyu would have fairy types.”
“And Kai?” Yeonjun finally relents. You breathe out in relief at the mention of him.
“He’d be electric,” you decide. “Or normal. Whichever ones are the cutest, really.”
“You wanna know how the concert went for him, don’t you?” he asks.
“No, it’s okay, Jun,” you brush him off. “We can talk about whatever you want.”
“Y/N. It’s cool. I’ve just been messing with you.” You can practically hear him smirking through the phone.
“Oh,” you twiddle your thumbs. “Well, yes, then tell me how he did.”
Yeonjun sucks in a breath. “First off, I don’t want you to get worried.”
“Okay? Why would I be worried?”
Yeonjun hesitates before answering you. “He’s at the hospital right now.” Your stomach drops.
“What?! Is that what you were hiding from me?”
“I knew it would make you upset, Y/N. It’s not a big deal. It’s probably just a sprain, alright?”
“But he’s hurt,” you sigh. “Is that the reason you called me and not him?”
“Can’t I just want to hear my dear friend’s voice and ask how her date went?”
“Mhmm, sure.” You side eye him through the phone, plopping down onto your bed. You’re too tired to change out of your date clothes.
“Okay, fine,” he continues. “Kai did ask me to call you while the doctor checks him out. He knew it would probably be all over social media and didn’t want you to worry.”
“It’s probably my fault he injured himself,” you mutter, kicking off your shoes. “I hope it’s not too bad.”
“Y/N, he’s fine,” Yeonjun assures you. “And how could it possibly be your fault? We aren’t even in the same country right now. The stage was probably just wet because of the rain from earlier.”
“I think I made him upset right before you guys went on stage. He said he missed me and I didn’t say it back, but I think he wanted me to.”
“Hmm, I guess he did seem a little down now that you mention it.”
“Well, tell him I said sorry.” Knowing that he was noticeably off tonight because of you makes you feel horrible. If you had just said it back, he probably could’ve focused on the show better.
“I mean, if you want to wait and tell him yourself, he’ll probably be back any second now.”
“I don’t really feel like talking anymore. Night, Jun. I’ll see you later.” Before Yeonjun can say bye, you’ve already hung up. You’ve never been more confused over your emotions than tonight.
Throwing a pillow over your head, you scream into it. Your love life is in shambles and all you can think about is Huening Kai’s stupid, possibly-sprained ankle.
—————-
When Kai’s plane lands, you’re the first person he wants to see. Before he even left, he made sure that you had a key to the apartment, something Yeonjun was always too lazy to do.
You haven’t brought up the disaster of a date you went on while he was away, and to your relief, he hasn’t asked about it either. It’s almost as if he doesn’t care that it happened.
Getting him to agree to watch the new Mean Girls remake for your weekly movie night was much easier than you expected. You had even prepared a whole speech for why he should relent even though it was supposed to be his choice tonight.
“It’s a musical,” you reasoned. “You’ll like it!”
You were very, very wrong. The movie was horrible, but at least that meant that the two of you could hate-watch it together.
“Those lyrics…” he starts, rubbing his temples as the closing credits played.
“And the costumes!” They were not going to age well.
“That was really bad,” he laughs. “That’s the last time I’m letting you pick when it’s my turn.”
“I have a feeling I’ll still be able to charm you in the future,” you say, batting your eyelashes.
“That is so not fair.” He crosses his arms. “Why are you so cute?”
“It’s my superpower,” you say, grinning. A few months ago, you would’ve never said something like that, but Kai makes you feel so much better about yourself.
The way you’re looking at him makes him blush, and he glances away hoping you haven’t noticed. His gaze focuses on the clock on the wall.
“Oh, Y/N, it’s past two.” Kai says. Time always seems to disappear when you’re together. “Do you want me to walk you home?”
Thunder booms outside the window and you can hear raindrops hitting the roof.
“That might be a bad idea. I can just call a car,” you say, grabbing your phone. He stops you.
“Just stay here,” he offers. “I’ll sleep on the couch.”
“You can’t sleep on the couch,” you disagree. “Yeonjun will think we’re mad at each other.”
“Well, if we sleep in here together, he’ll probably start planning our wedding.”
“I guess we’re losers in this game, huh?” you say, immediately cringing at the pun. The two of you exchange glances before cracking up.
Kai always takes longer to stop laughing than you. “Okay, how about this. You take the bed and I’ll sleep on the floor,” he says, still giddy.
“But it’s your bed! I can sleep on the floor.”
“I am not letting you sleep on the floor. You’re my guest.”
“This is stupid, Kai. Yeonjun doesn’t know the difference whether one of us sleeps on the floor or in the bed. We might as well just share.”
“But you snore, remember?”
“There’s actually no real evidence to that claim,” you refute.
“Well, it’s a twin sized bed. I might crush you.”
“I don’t need that much space. We can even sleep head to toe, if you want.”
“My feet stink. Your feet stink.” The effort he was going through to not share a bed with you was eating away at you. You’re sure he’s slept with his group mates plenty of times before, so what difference did it make?
“Oh my god! Fine, sleep on the floor.” You throw a pillow and one of his many plushies his way, turning on your side to face the wall.
“Are you mad at me?” he asks from behind, his voice now quiet and careful. To be honest, you’re not quite sure whether you’re being serious or not.
You turn over to look at him, sitting on the edge of the bed, petting the plushie’s head.
“Kai,” you sit up. “Kai, look, I’m sorry. I’m not mad.”
“I feel like I’m always putting my foot in my mouth when I’m around you.”
“You’re not. I wouldn’t spend so much time with you if I didn’t want to.” You cup his cheek, running your thumb over one of his moles. “I promise.”
Yeonjun isn’t afraid to check you when you’re in the wrong, but Kai is too sweet to deal with any sort of confrontation. It’s something you’ve been having to adjust to lately.
“We can share the bed. I didn’t mean to make it seem like it was a bad thing,” he says. Sometimes you think he can read your mind.
“Okay,” you say, making room for him. He turns off the lamp and climbs in next to you, making sure to leave a big enough gap so he doesn’t touch you. Even in the dark, it’s obvious that he’s lying halfway off the mattress.
“You can come closer,” you say. God forbid he falls onto the floor in the middle of the night and it’s your fault for hogging all of the bed.
He moves inward, your faces so close that your noses are nearly touching. You could probably count his freckles from here.
Sure, every once in a while, you’ll lay your head on his shoulder or he’ll lay his in your lap, but this is much more intimate. Suddenly, your heartbeat feels too fast to fall asleep anymore.
“Y/N,” Kai whispers, although he already has your full attention. You like the way he says your name. His fingers grip your waist under the sheets, bringing you even closer.
You tremble under his touch, his eyes locked on yours. This is a dangerous game.
In seconds, his mouth is pressed against yours, desperate and hungry. You’ve been kissed by boys before, but never like this. You can’t get enough of him.
You run your fingers through his hair, still soft even after several sessions of bleach. Like that night in the cab, you feel him hard against you, except now it’s intentional. It feels good.
Kai climbs on top of you, finding his way between your legs without breaking the kiss. You wonder how often he’s done this.
“We shouldn’t,” you breathe as he presses kisses along your collarbone, although it’s lost between your heavy sighs.
His hand grazes the waistband of your shorts. Visions of him doing the same with other girls—specifically the one from that morning—pop into your head. Panicking, you pull away from his kiss, using all of your strength to push him off of you.
“Y/N?” he asks, his lips puffy and his brows knitted in confusion. “What’s wrong?”
“I have to go,” you say, tugging down the hemline of your t-shirt, which had ridden up during the exchange. You hop off the bed and attempt to find your sneakers in the dark.
“Please don’t go,” he pleads with you, grabbing onto your wrist. “I’m sorry. I’m so sorry. It was stupid.”
You turn back to him, tears welling up in your eyes. “It was stupid?”
“No! That’s not what I meant. I just—I don’t want to do anything that could ruin our friendship. You mean too much to me, Y/N. I shouldn’t have kissed you, no matter how much I wanted to and no matter how good it felt.”
“It felt good?” you say, stepping towards him. It’s a relief to know he at least enjoyed it as much as you did.
“Really good,” Kai admits. “But it shouldn’t have happened. I can’t risk losing you.”
“Right.” It’s a really good point. “I don’t want to lose you either.”
“So… no kissing.”
“No kissing,” you agree.
“Anything else off the table?” He asks this in a way that you can’t tell if he’s flirting with you or not. You decide to take the risk and step closer to him.
“I think cuddling is fair game. It would be too great a loss to our friendship.” You hold his hand.
“Mhmm, definitely.” He helps you climb back onto the bed before following suit, pressing his chest to your back, enveloping you in his warmth.
“You know, if I had you around in the wintertime, I’d save a lot on my heating bill,” you point out.
“Go to sleep, silly,” Kai laughs, nuzzling his head into the nook above your shoulder.
“Fine. Goodnight,” you yawn, your eyelids feeling heavier by the second.
“Sweet dreams, Y/N,” he whispers, although you’re already sound asleep, your soft snores filling the room.
—————-
When you wake up, Kai is gone. He’s left a note on the bedside table that reads: Went to get breakfast. Be back soon :-)
You stumble into the living room, rubbing your eyes as sunlight streams through the balcony doors. Yeonjun sits at the kitchen table, eating a bowl of cereal and watching footage from the group’s latest dance rehearsal.
“Be honest, did you and Huening fuck last night?”
“Good morning to you, too.”
“Come on, Y/N. I heard some suspicious shit when I went to the kitchen to grab water and unless he’s doing some magical switcharoo, you’ve been the only girl around for the last few months.”
“Is this some weird cross examination? Are you going to compare my story to his?” You try not to smile at the notion that Kai has stopped seeing other girls, but it makes you giddy.
“I wish. He wouldn’t tell me anything,” Yeonjun huffs.
“Well, if you must know, we made out for a few minutes. I panicked. He panicked. We both agreed to never do it again. End of story.”
“That’s no fun.”
“It’s not, but it prevents us from doing something we might regret and breaking up the entire friend group.”
“Do you like him like that?”
“I don’t know. It doesn’t matter.”
“It kind of does, Y/N. I’m pretty sure that boy is head over heels in love with you.”
The thought of Huening Kai being in love with you stops you dead in your tracks. Your Kai, secretly pining for your affection? You decide that it’s nothing more than a fantasy.
“That’s impossible,” you shrug. “It was just a moment of weakness between two friends. Nothing more, okay?”
Before you can discuss this any further, Kai is walking through the front door, coffee and pastries in hand.
“Y/N, you’re awake! I was scared I’d have to get you out of bed myself. Yeonjun was warning me how grumpy you are in the mornings.”
“She’s a monster,” Yeonjun says. You flick him on the side of the head. “Ouchie.”
“I don’t doubt it,” he giggles, unpacking enough doughnuts to feed an army. “I didn’t know which one you wanted, Y/N, so I just tried to pick ones I thought you’d like.”
“I love honeydew, so you picked well,” you say, taking a bite of one with bright green filling. “Mmm! Where’d you get these?”
“Old Ferry Donut. It’s across town, but totally worth the trip. I go with my sisters all the time. You should come with us next time.”
“Ooh, introducing Y/N to the family. It’s getting serious,” Yeonjun teases. Kai shoots him a dirty look. He takes the hint, grabbing a couple of doughnuts on the way back to his bedroom.
“He can be such a dick sometimes,” Kai sighs.
“Yes, but he’s our dick,” you insist, trying not to let him ruin the moment.
“I suppose that’s true,” he laughs. It always makes you feel good about yourself whenever you manage to cheer him up. Usually, that’s his job with you. “I’d really like for Lea and Hiyyih to meet you, though. I think you’d all get along super well.”
“Then let’s set something up. I’m free all day,” you say, your mouth full of food.
“Really, Y/N?” Kai asks. You nod in agreement and his eyes light up at your enthusiasm. “This is awesome! I’ll text them right now!”
Maybe, just maybe, he really is in love with you.

Life's journey resembles a roller-coaster ride, filled with unexpected twists and turns, but we shall never lose ourselves along the way, if you do, you remain alone with your toxic thoughts, that slowly eat the remaining life out of you.
When the most important person in your life becomes the strangest person on Earth. My best friend couldn't stop the venom from spreading through his brain, poisoning it and making him believe he was nothing but a breeze of the dark autumn night. Soonyoung was a maximalist, football was his life it made him believe he was perfect, and that nothing could come his way.
But on a rainy game day, that promised a good future for him, he slipped on the wet green field and fell on the ground. Soonyoung's knee buckled beneath him as he slipped on the rain-soaked field, a sharp pain shooting through his leg, rendering him immobile amidst the downpour. Rain fell on his face in slow motion as he was screaming from the pain. That day was the end of the beginning of his career.
Since then, Soonyoung pushed everyone away from him who tried to approach him. Well, the ones he knew his whole life. His parents and me, I was his best friend. In past tense, because since the day of his injury, he did not want to talk to me. And the times when I tried to talk to him, he treated me like he didn't even know me. He looked down on me in front of his new troublemaker friends, making me feel like I was a clown trying to entertain them, whenever I tried to approach him at lunch breaks.
He has been my best friend since we were little. My parents introduced us when we were little to each other as Soonyoung's family lived opposite our house. Since that day we have been inseparable, we did everything together, even though we had different interests, him finding football as his lifesaver and me finding photography that helped me through difficult times of my life. We always adored each other's passion; he supported me whenever I wasn't sure if my photos were good enough. And I always attended his games to support and cheer for him, just be the first to congratulate him whenever they won.
Now that football wasn't there for him, he buried his cheerful past self deep down into his soul and a new careless Soonyoung came to the surface. He got into a new friend group, they were bad guys, and they always partied and got drunk whenever they had time. I couldn't recognize this Soonyoung, as neither did anyone who knew him before. He turned from a harmless hamster to a merciless tiger.

Our university’s football team had the last game of the year, everyone was excited and everyone attended to support their team. Except for one person and it was Soonyoung. The accident happened half a year ago and since Soonyoung isn't part of the team, they are bad, like really bad. They couldn't win a game; the team was falling apart without him. He was their fully trusted captain, who held the team together with his eagerness and his confident aura. Deep down I knew he was glad the team couldn't win without him, if he couldn't play then they deserved not to win.
The game was again a disaster as I watched it with my good friend, she was in the same major as me and we quickly became friends, photography connecting us. Watching the game everyone started to get bored, as winning the match was hopeless, they couldn't win, no matter how hard they tried.
They lost but that did not mean they couldn't throw a party for the sake of keeping the traditions. Everyone was invited, and it was held in a rich guy's house called Hongjoong, who was the new captain of the team, trying desperately to put the broken team's pieces together again. I kind of pitied him, because it was a very hard task breathing life to people who already lost hope. But he was known as a determined leader who would never disappoint his team, and it really seemed he was trying with his whole heart.
When we arrived at the party, my friend already got lost in the crowd as she was a real social butterfly, while I on the other side, liked the quieter places and fewer people. The living room was already full of students, most of them drunk, as they were dancing along to the loud music. Some random lights lighted the living room from time to time, for the sake of this seeming like a club. Through the sweating dancing bodies, I navigated myself to the kitchen to pour myself a drink. The furniture was all white and luxurious, I looked around as I searched for something to drink. I needed to relax a little, as recently I felt overwhelmed with everything I needed to do for the classes, project after project. I stayed up for nights, and on the days coffee was my only savior.
It was unhealthy, but Soonyoung wasn't the only one who got injured that day. Well, just theoretically, because my heart broke every time, I saw Soonyoung fall deeper into the dark and not let me in. It hurt because he was the only person in my life that understood me wholly. I tried to live without him, but it was hard. And seeing him laughing with his new friends made my heart fade into the dark.
"Woah, woah what did that whiskey do to you?" A strange voice brought me back to reality as I didn’t even realize I was pouring out the drink into a glass while I wandered off. I looked up just to meet with Hongjoong's sharp glaze, holding my wrist to stop me from pouring the drink that had already flown down to the kitchen counter.
"Oh—sorry, I got lost in my thoughts." I blushed in embarrassment, trying to find something I could clean the mess.
"It's okay, let me help you." He smiled at me and opened a cabinet to pull out a dry cloth to wipe the whiskey off.
I looked at him frowning. "How did you—", I hit my forehead as I realized this was his house.
He chuckled. "Yes, this is my house, I should know where my things are." He looked so adorable with his blonde hair falling into his eyes as he tilted his head down to clean up the mess I made. He looked so decent, as he was wearing a casual beige pullover paired with blue jeans with cuts on its knees, a lot of accessories in his ears, and on his fingers. When he was on the football field on match days, he always yelled at his team like a lion, trying to keep together his team, but now he looked nothing like that he was just a sweet guy.
"I'm so sorry again for making a mess." I ran my fingers through my hair.
"It's okay it happens." He finished the cleaning and took my glass to pour half of it into an empty glass.
He reached my glass towards me and took the other to his hands. "Let's drink then."
I chuckled at the fact of how casual he was, after all, I was just a stranger to him. "Cheers!" we clinked our glasses together and downed the whole drink in one go. The both of us were making a face when we finished the drink, from the bitter taste and the burning feeling it left behind. We both started to giggle looking at each other's faces.
Suddenly people streamed into the kitchen as we were laughing, one familiar guy in front looking straight into my eyes. I saw nothing from my past best friend. He looked completely different. His blonde hair which almost seemed like ash was hidden beneath a black cap that was turned backward. His ears were pierced, just as his eyebrows. He was wearing a black sweater, that was oversized, hiding his well-defined body, white crosses on its sleeves, that matched with his blue jeans, with black and white crosses on it. He was the total opposite of the old Soonyoung. He was glaring at me with sharp eyes, I saw a hint of disappointment evident. But I felt more of it, I just hated him with my whole heart.
"Well, well, what do we have here?" Soonyoung clapped as he came closer to us in the kitchen.
"What are you doing here? You were not invited." Hongjoong stepped in front of me, hiding me from Soonyoung, preventing me from hunting me down.
Soonyoung laughed out loudly that sounded fake. "I thought everyone was invited to this party, Captain." He leaned down to Hongjoong, to be on the same height level as him. Their height difference was barely visible from the outside, but Soonyoung looked so intimidating it made the Captain look small. But he did not let it happen. He straightened up and stepped closer to Soonyoung grabbing his collar.
"Everyone is invited. Except you." Hongjoong hissed through his teeth. "Get the fuck out of here!" He raised his voice.
Soonyoung laughed again, sounding the same as before, there was no life in it. His eyes met with mine as he looked behind Hongjoong. His eyes on me made me freeze as if almost to death, it was so intimidating I just couldn't move. I wanted to scream at him, to hit him, to beg for his old self to come back. But all I could do was look back at him with no emotions on my face. Slowly, I turned away, mirroring his detachment. I buried my emotions deep alongside his old self.
"What if I don't want to?" Soonyoung stepped even closer to Hongjoong and pushed him on the chest, Hongjoong's back hitting the fridge.
"Enough! Get the fuck out of here Soonyoung, you are not welcome here." I yelled at him suddenly, surprising him with my sudden impact.
His eyes rounded for a slight second in surprise, probably because I never called him Soonyoung, since we were kids, I always called him Hoshi, he asked me to call him like that when he found out what it meant, since he was obsessed with stars, he always adored them. For a second, I thought that's it, that is my Hoshi, he is still there. But his sharp glare was back in the blink of an eye.
"Are you in search of a new emotional support to replace me?" His question sounded full with disgust. I just couldn't believe this person was my best friend.
After half a year, he couldn't tell me anything else other than to humiliate me and I felt sick, I just never wanted to see him again.
I stepped closer to him, our faces inches apart, I tilted my head up to glare at him with zero emotions.
"There's nothing to replace." I said to him as I pushed him on the chest and fought my way through the crowd that assembled in the kitchen, people were always in for the drama.

Every year our neighborhood gathers together as we are close to the end of the year. We just celebrate the year at the end of autumn so we can say goodbye together to the year. This is the reason I am sitting in the house of our neighbor next to us, watching as the adults talk with each other, not like I am not an adult, but I just hate the shallow conversations where they ask about my life and what I want to do in the future. They had nothing to do with my life then why did they ask the same questions every year?
In the past, it was fun. At least Hoshi made it fun, as we always hid in the corners to judge the people and gossip about them. Now, I was sitting here all day on the couch with a glass of fine wine in my hand, and judging the people around me alone. I didn't see Hoshi all day, but I knew he was here somewhere hiding in the corners or who knows where. His parents were here and I knew they made him come along not accepting no as an answer, they were very strict if I may say.
The sun was already down and I felt so bored all day, I couldn't wait for the moment when they were distracted enough so I could slip out to be free. And that moment came quickly as I saw my parents were talking with a man and I quickly slipped outside through the backdoor.
When I closed the door and turned around, I froze. Hoshi was sitting on the top of the stairs leaning forward on his knees a glass of wine in his hands. He was staring up at the sky looking for the stars that were hidden between the dark clouds. I hesitated, I just wanted to get out of there, but seeing Hoshi like this…He seemed so—vulnerable in this moment and I kind of wanted to take advantage of it.
So, I slowly approached him and sat next to him on the cold stairs. As he felt my presence, he didn't even look at me, he just looked down at the glass in his hands, his features seemed full of regret and shame. I didn't want to be the first to say something. I tried to imply that I was there if he wanted to tell me something because I really deserved that. I took him in, while he was deep in his thoughts, he was wearing the same black cap turned backward, his ashy hair that grew down to his nape lolling out from the cap. He was dressed up in full black clothes, a sweater with black writings on its chest, and its sleeves decorated with white flowers, paired with black oversized pants and black sneakers. A cross was hanging from his neck that swung between him and the glass he was holding.
"Why are you here?" He breaks the silence, his voice unstable.
"Just wanted to escape from inside, it's boring." I hated him, but seeing him like this I couldn't be mean to him.
Hoshi just nodded still analyzing the glass in his hands.
"And you?" I asked looking at his sharp side profile, his cheekbones puffy like a hamster.
He shrugged. "My parents won't let me go home and it's boring without—" He stopped when he realized what he was about to say. He seemed angry at himself at that as I was observing him. He was drunk and, in this state, it felt like the old Hoshi was screaming at this person next to me to let him out of the prison he made. I knew my Hoshi was still there I just needed to somehow fight with this poisoned Hoshi.
"You know this shit is very boring without you. There's no one I could gossip with about Uncle Chanyeol's third wife." I said what he didn't finish and tried to lessen the sour mood a bit.
At that, he snapped his head up to look at me with surprised eyes. There he was, the Hoshi I loved so much. Many emotions went through his face as he took me in, finally looking into my eyes, finally seeing me after half a year.
"Well, the second was much uglier not gonna lie." He said looking back at the glass as he downed it until the last drops.
I hummed. "Not to be a bad person but he looks like a witch, who would curse you the second you stay alone with her."
And Hoshi laughed out wholeheartedly, that made my heart whole again. The sound of his laughter puzzled the pieces of my heart together. It made me realize how important he was in my life, and how much of an influence he was in my life. Everything he did affected me, even if it was good or bad, I felt the same way as him. I felt like he was my soulmate and if he was hurt I was hurt as well. It made me realize that I loved him so much not just as my best friend but as my soulmate. But after he pushed me, it faded. And I hoped it'd be gone in seconds, but as I heard him laugh again, made me realize it was never going to fade.
I smiled, hearing him laugh sincerely again, knowing it wasn't fake. Then as he realized what he was doing, his laughter faded into a smile and his smile faded into a thin line.
"You shouldn't speak to me." The sour Hoshi from moments ago had returned.
"Yeah…I shouldn't." I looked down at my hands fiddling with my rings taking in the sour emotions Hoshi was feeling.
"You know…" He broke the silence that fell on us, looking up at the sky. "…I always wanted to be perfect, and I truly believed I was, just until…" He looked down at his hands again as he tried to hold his tears back. I just listened to him, letting him speak whatever he wanted out of his heart.
"I'm so tired, I'm so tired of pretending everything is fine, Y/N." He buried his face into his hands, sobbing.
Tears started to appear immediately in my eyes seeing him like this. I scooted closer to him and hugged him, pulling him to my chest as he was still sobbing. "It fucked up everything— a-and I don't know what to do with my life anymore." He mumbled into the crock of my neck, wetting it with sour tears that made my heart break again.
"I know, I know it's hard Hoshi." I caressed his back up and down as I leaned my head on top of his, staring into the dark and chilly night. "There's life outside of football too. You can't just push away everyone you love, because some shit happened to your life. It's not fair and you know that."
He was quiet for a few moments, to take my words in and slowly lifted his head to look into my eyes. His eyes were red and puffy, his eyes barely visible, as the tears were still flowing down his puffy cheekbone, his lips trembling a little from the flow of emotions. "I-I know I fucked up and you have no idea how much I regret it. Pushing away my real friends and my parents. But mostly you, Y/N." One tear flew down his face again.
I slowly reached my hand towards his cheeks and cupped it just to wipe the sour tears away from his face. "I'm sorry for pushing you away…I really miss you, you being by my side all the time…" His eyes still stared deeply into mine.
I sighed, detaching my hands from his face, and letting it fall onto my lap. "I miss you too, Hoshi. But…you really treated me like shit, it hurt you know." I tried to blink away the tears that tried to escape.
"I know, I know, I was such an asshole, please forgive me.” He turned towards me.  “You really deserve better than that…" He said reaching for my hands, but along the way, he knocked over the glass that was between us. It made me realize he was just drunk and who knows tomorrow he is going to be the asshole Hoshi again.
I smiled at him sadly. "Go home Hoshi and sleep." I stood up and left him there without waiting for an answer.

Days later, it was already late at night when my phone rang just as I arrived home and parked my car, after a tiring day, as I was at classes all day and learning for the exams at the library. I sighed as I turned the engine off to pick up my phone, where the name of Hoshi's mother showed. I frowned as I picked it up.
"Y/N, darling, I'm glad you picked it up." Her voice seemed hurried and full of concern.
"Hi, what happened?" I asked her, leaving the formalities behind ages ago, as she treated me like I was her other daughter.
"I just wanted to ask, if you saw Hoshi today. We've been looking for him all day, but his phone is off and we don't know where he is." I heard as her voice got a little weaker.
"I saw him last night, but that's all, I'm sorry," I said looking down at my hands, running through the maze of my thoughts.
"Oh, okay, maybe it's better if I call the police, I am very concerned." Her voice deepened as she was thinking. "Anyways, thank you Y/N, I hope you are okay, we miss you." She wanted to hang up but I stopped her.
"Wait—, I might— I might know where he is, give me an hour and I'll find him," I said a little hurriedly as a place appeared in my head.
"Okay, thank you so much, Y/N." She seemed a little relieved at that.
I hung up the phone and quickly started the engine of my car, just to drive through the town to a place no one would search for Hoshi. And it was the football field. It sounds ridiculous but, why would anyone search for him there? When he didn’t step on that field since his injury happened?
When I arrived there, I still had doubts about him being at the field. But all my doubts disappeared when I saw him on the barely lit field, the moon above him shining at his presence. I approached the fence that separated us and just observed him as he was facing me, but he couldn't see me as the darkness hugged me around.
He was standing in the middle of the field the ball in his hands; he was wearing black shorts and a beige sweater on top the black cap never leaving his head. He squeezed it like he wanted to drown it like it could've helped make his misery better. Then he lifted his right hand in the air and threw the ball into the chilly air, his first intuition was to run after the ball, and he tried, but his knees buckled and he fell on the ground. My heart broke at the image of him breaking on the field of his dreams, I couldn't watch him suffer anymore. I stepped on the field slowly; he was still lying down with his face down and his shoulders were shaking. I walked towards the ball and took it in my hands. Then I walked towards him soundlessly.
"Hey!" I yelled at him while I was walking towards him. He snapped his head up at the sound. "Catch the ball!" I said not leaving him to think as I threw the ball towards him.
He quickly stood up, wincing from the pain, that his still unhealed, injury caused, and caught the ball.
"What are you doing here?" He tried to turn away from me, so I wouldn't see his face that screamed he was crying.
"The question is mine." I folded my arms together frowning at him.
He shrugged. "Needed to clear my head." He looked down at the ball and picked at some strings on it, not daring to look into my eyes.
"Your family is searching for you."
"I know." He spoke. "But I just wanted to get away from home."
"Why?"
"Because they want to control my life, and I can't stand it anymore." He turned away from me, looking up at the sky.
"Well, at least they are doing it, instead of you." I said stepping closer to him.
He suddenly threw the ball to the green grass with a wave of anger the ball almost bounced back to his hands.
"Hoshi, what is going on with you? It's not you." I said trying to stay calm.
"Well, you have to live with this, because this is me." He yelled at me turning towards me and pointing at himself.
My heart started to race, he kind of scared me. "No, it isn’t you, you changed." My voice got quieter as I stared down at the ground. Now I was the one not daring to look into his eyes.
"People change, and then what?" He lifted his arms in the air frowning.
"You act ridiculous, you know? You lost football and now you think you are a nobody?" I scoffed at him in disbelief.
"Football was the only thing that made me feel alive." He lifted his hands and turned around showing the field. "You can't fucking understand what am I going through." He pointed at me raising his voice.
I scoffed. "No, I really can't understand Hoshi." I looked deep into his eyes. "But I really tried to be by your side after your injury but you just threw me away just like that fucking ball.
“I pointed at the ball in his hands. "I get it, I get that football was your life, but life sometimes sucks and you have to live with it, it can't be perfect…" My voice cracked as the emotions flew through me. "…nothing can be perfect Hoshi, neither can you…"
Tears started to appear in my eyes and I turned around. "You are on your own now." As soon as I turned tears flew down my face, and my heart broke into a million pieces again, but it was worse than everything beforehand because hope left my soul as well leaving nothing behind but dust.
I was near the fence where the exit was when I heard him.
"Y/N, wait!" He yelled after me, but I just closed him out.
All of a sudden all I could feel was that I was being pushed against the fence, which made a loud noise, as it echoed around us like bird chirping. His face was close to mine, his hands on both sides of my waist as he pushed me against the fence.
"Please listen to me." His voice was barely a whisper, that I felt on my lips.
I didn't say anything as I was too stunned being this close to him, his dark peachy scent hugged me around, making me feel woozy.
"I'm confused, okay?" His hands left my waist and he supported himself on the fence on both sides of my head. "It's…" He sighed and took off his cap with his right hand to run his fingers through his silver hair. This hair color fitted him so well, he changed but it was still him. He threw his cap on the ground now his hair falling into his eyes as he looked at me. "It's not just about football. It's about you Y/N."
My heart started to race quickly as I just looked at him with wide eyes.
He leaned closer. "The reason I pushed you away was because I wanted to be more than friends. And I knew you didn't want that." He leaned his forehead against mine. “I couldn't be friends with you anymore so I pushed you away before I fell in love with you more." His voice was low as he closed his eyes. "I was not ready for love, not when I knew you weren't as well." He whispered it and I barely could hear what he said.
"But," he continued not letting me say a word. "I realized I can’t live without you, because you are my escape from this fucked-up world and you are my purpose on this earth. I know that my life won't suck if you are by my side and that with your help, I can put my life together again." His voice crackled as tears formed in his eyes when he opened them again.
I was stunned to speak; I never could've imagined that Hoshi was thinking of me like that. But at the same, I was waiting for this moment my whole life.
"You are so stupid, Hoshi," I said the first thing that came to my mind after I gathered my thoughts. I reached my hands towards his swollen face and cupped it.
"I was in love with you my whole life," I said to him honestly.
His barely visible eyes rounded his mouth fell open, he looked so adorable. "Are you joking?"
"No, I'm not. Well, I'm sure it wasn't that deep when we were kids, but…since we grew up and started university together I fell in love with you deeper as the days passed Hoshi, and I couldn't help it." I looked down on the ground feeling shy as I just put my heart out in front of him. "My heart broke when you pushed me away…"
He slowly reached his hands towards my waist, squeezing it reassuringly, and leaned his forehead against mine. "I am so sorry, Y/n, for being so stupid, I won't ever forgive myself for treating you like that." He whispered onto my lips, his cold breath against mine, our cold breaths mixed just to melt into each other.
"You deserve the whole world, Y/N. And please let me give you the world, forgive me." He whispered the last few words, coming out like forgotten promises.
I smiled at him as if my eyes were sparkling from the happiness I felt. "Are you ready for love?"
He smiled fondly and looked at me like I was his whole world. "I'm ready for love. Can we stay together forever? I will give—"
"Just kiss me already you idiot." I interrupted him impatiently.
He chuckled and cupped my face, just to push me more into the fence that hurt my back, but not until one of his hands reached behind my back to pull me off the fence, body flesh against his. My lips curved into a sincere smile. I couldn't believe my soulmate had just confessed to me and promised me the world.
"You give me purpose." He whispered onto my lips like sweet promises and closed the distance between our parted lips. When his lisp met mine, the world stopped spinning, everything slowed down, the clocks stopped ticking, and the rivers stopped flowing. Everything stopped. It was just the two of us in this world, as he promised me the world, and with this kiss, he gave it to me. His lips moved against mine slowly, passionately, like he wanted to carve this moment into the history books, where two best friends went through ups and downs just like a roller-coaster, so in the end, they were finally ready to love each other wholeheartedly, staying together forever.

rafe can’t handle it when you cry. he’s a problem solver at heart, and if something is bothering you, in his eyes it’s his responsibility to fix it. he was on a business call when you burst through the front doors of tannyhill, cheeks already stained with tears as your kitten heels click through the house. “rafe?” you call, sniffling and desperate to find him.
he hears you, attention shifting from his meeting to you. rafe is used to your dramatics, but something about your tone sets off alarm bells in his head. he gets up from his desk, cutting off the investor on the other line. “hey — hey man, i hate to do this to you, but could you just give me one second? somethin’ just came up.” he puts the call on hold and shoves his phone in his pocket before they can protest, and just in time for you to walk through his office doors. you’re a mess, shivering with mascara running wildly down your flushed cheeks. rafe’s forehead creases in concern, rushing around his desk to meet you where you’re standing so you can throw yourself into his arms.
“woah — woah, baby. breathe for me, alright?” rafe’s voice is soft but demanding, and he pulls away when you don’t respond, placing his warm hands on your upper arms to steady you. “hey — tell me what’s goin’ on.”
you suck in a few shaky breaths, whining and pawing at your eyes. you’re already so upset, and trying to condense your frustration into any sort of coherent answer has you even more overwhelmed. you just shake your head, more tears welling up in your eyes. “i don’t know! everything is going wrong.”
“okay, listen to me. you have to breathe.” he leans down to your level, commanding more of your attention as he brings one hand to wipe your tears. rafe knows you’re a sensitive girl, sweet and delicate — it’s one of the things he likes the most about you. as much as he hates seeing you upset, he does love being your knight in shining armor. “what do you mean going wrong? what’s going wrong, princess?”
you finally take a deep breath, wet eyelashes fluttering. it really is everything. you offered to plan a surprise birthday party for one of your friends at the country club, but now that you also have to start organizing your plans for midsummers, you don’t know when you’re going to organize it — and soon enough, tourist season is going to make work at the golf club impossible. the icing on top is that rafe has been busy all day, barely even texting you between meetings, and you really missed him.
all of it comes out in a jumbled string of sobs until you finish with a deep sigh, lip still wobbling as your watery puppy-dog eyes bore into his. “alright.” rafe starts, letting go of you now that you’ve settled a little. “tell you what, i’ll help you out with the shit for midsummers. we can head out to the mainland tomorrow and get you a nice dress, yeah?” he pauses to make sure you’re following, and you nod with a sniffle — already feeling a little better with a promised shopping trip. “and, baby — i know you can handle a little party planning. n’if you need me to, i got no problem pulling a few strings to get you a nice reservation, okay, but for now — you’ve gotta relax. go take a nice bath and wait for me, alright? i have to take this.” rafe pulls his phone from his pocket again, the screen lighting up with the call still on hold. he brings his free hand up to wipe your remaining tears, followed by a gentle kiss pressed to your forehead. “you’re alright, princess — i’ll be right there.”
the whole ordeal has your head spinning, one second you’re flying off the handle with anxiety and now you feel light as a feather. but that’s why you came to tannyhill in the first place, knowing rafe would know just what to do to fix your terrible mood.

hellooo!!! okay i needed to recover mentally from ur response because it was SO good TOO good i loved it sm omg<33333 losing my mind, bully!sungchan lives in my head rent free 24/7
i rly need sungchan to whore reader out to eunseok and anton at some point too id feel like they’d be so bad good to her<333 i imagine eunseok would be a bit of a meanie too but anton would be like.. awestruck, hed wanna suck on your tits and feel ur body because he’s never seen someone so beautiful before, would get soooo pussydrunk getting to taste you UGH
also not sure if i misread it and reader did squirt but like.. imagine if reader squirted for the first time with sungchan in eunseok’s bed🤭 and sungchan would never let you live it downnn
i imagine getting railed by sungchan and he’s teasing you about cumming in eunseok’s bed or blushing when anton called you over to him at the party or whatever and you clench around him at his words and he teases you so viciously about wanting attention from the other boys “you’re such a slut, you don’t need anybody but me baby” and would mark you so bad, leaving hickeys all over your tits and tummy<33333
sungchan would love to play dress up with you and keep putting you in slutty outfits and once ur crying and cumming, body shaking and completely wrecked by him, he’d give you soft kisses all over your face and whisper to you in ur broken state that he loves you so much, “you’re the most beautiful girl in the world, and you’re all mine” “i’ll never let anybody take you away from me” “you’re my princess, i promise to always take care of you”
It was a squirt, maybe I should've put a tw so others don't get confused either haha 😂. Oh, and also, just like you said, Sungchan will never let you forget what you did in Eunseok's bed.
I love that this is almost pure porn. He's so mean, I love him 😭🩷
I'm pretty much sure that he'll oblige you to cum like that again a few times, cooing in your ear how good you did for him that day, his little whore following his orders. "But don't act like you didn't enjoy it, you liked it, if not you wouldn't have let me fuck you there and cum again, so fucking dirty".
He's so mean he has you denying his words and then crying when he jackhammers into you, all deep and leaving you dizzy with how good his cock inside you feels.
He has that effect on you, and you love it as much as you hate it, you hate it because he doesn't let you think at all, and you love it because it feels good to not have to think for a moment.
But then you feel guilty, how could you do that to his friend you had just met? What are you, an animal? You can't leave things like that, and behind Sungchan's back, you organize a little meal to share with Eunseok to apologize, and you tell him to bring Anton if that would make him more comfortable.
When Sungchan arrives from the gym he sees you floating around the kitchen, doing a meal that he dies to taste because he loves your food, and when you receive him all pretty with that apron on, he feels like being less mean to you.
However, what would be of him if you didn't drive him insane?
When you tell him you're waiting for Eunseok and Anton, he doesn't feel angry at you, but he feels something he doesn't like, and he's asking "How did you even talk to them if not through me?"
"Oh, I just went to Eunseok's place, I was nervous, but I had to apologize, they're your friends after all" you answer.
His mind starts running before his mouth, why did you go without his permission? Even more, why did you go without him?
He doesn't say anything, leaving you alone to finish while he thinks what to do to you to teach you that you're not supposed to make decisions on your own, you have him for something, you're his girlfriend, his, his, his.
It seems you haven't learned your place even after all he's done for you.
When you happily smile at his friends, he pretends everything is okay, sitting beside you and even joking a little bit. "Did you like our gift?" He says to Eunseok.
"A lot, luckily it was before laundry day" the other immediately says with a smirk.
You blush in your place and Anton has to cough before telling you that the food looks great to change the atmosphere.
Sungchan changes the subject to some shit you can't understand, they talk about some memories and you lean to his shoulder when you sip from your glass. Everything feels normal, and you start to wonder, maybe that was the step you had to take for Sungchan to see that you could be a good girlfriend, and that you didn't deserve to be teased all the time.
When you take the dishes to the kitchen before dessert, Anton is such a gentleman that he helps you carry the dishes inside, and you can't help but smile when he praises you just like you wished Sungchan did more.
When Anton goes back to the living room Sungchan goes to the kitchen to help you, but when you feel him get closer to you from behind, you know he won't just help you serve the food.
"You like that? You like that you finally have some attention from someone that would've never looked your way if it wasn't that you weren't with me?" He murmurs.
"What?" You ask confused.
"Don't act all innocent" he says, one hand moving to find your panties under your dress to caress the skin under it, "I know you're wearing this dress, a dress I've bought, only because you want all our attention, but I'm sorry to say this baby, no one else wants to fuck your fat pussy other than me"
"Channie?" You can't even finish saying what you were thinking when you feel his cock pressing to your ass and then playing between your folds.
"You're such a slut, you don't need anyone but me" he groans when he plugs into you, and your mouth falls open, hands gripping the counter and teeth biting your lip so you don't moan loudly.
"Channie... Please don't, they're outside" you cry as silently as you can, shivering with the way the firmness of his body feels with the softness of yours, and, even if you ask him to stop, you lean more to the front, giving him a better access to your entrance.
Your pussy is wet, it echoes with the way he's fucking you, and your legs shake to the sensation of the cold air meeting your nipples when he, once again, just like that day at a party, pulls down the front of your chest to reveal your chest.
"They don't care, they're here, in my place, with my girl, they can fuck off if they don't want to hear us."
You don't nod, you don't try to run, you just let him, because a part of you knows they're listening to the wet sound of your pussy being fucked and your skin clapping, which as sick as it sounds, turns you on even more.
You imagine, as much as you don't want to, at them looking at you, staring with desire, and you even imagine them touching you a bit too.
Anton would be so nice, different to Sungchan, and Eunseok looks a bit meaner, which scares you, but not enough to not feel yourself getting wet at the image.
"Stop containing your moans" he orders, and for the first time, you don't comply with it immediately, maintaining your lips pressed to not feel more embarrassed.
Suddenly a fire starts inside him, because one thing is you act out, but now you're being such a brat, not following his orders the second he says them, and he can't let you do that. He gets closer, and pulling you to him, he grips your waist with one hand while the other finds your mouth and obliges you to receive his fingers inside, making you gag with the sudden push inside your throat and then stealing the moans you've been trying to keep silent so hard.
"That's better" he sighs when he hears you crying and gasping for air, clenching around his cock with the intensity of the moment, and soon finding your release with a couple thrusts more, deep and hard, filling you until you're sure you will leak down your seat.
He moves your panties to its place and grabs two dishes before he walks out, leaving you alone to fix yourself.
The front of your dress looks obviously different, he stretched it until it lost its form, and you doubt you could wear it again, such a shame, it was a pretty dress.
Anton can't meet your eyes anymore, and the two of them eat in silence before they leave. When you open the door for them, Anton looks down at your chest, a drunk look in his face similar to the one you imagined, and Eunseok is a bit bolder, touching your arm and telling you that he had a great time.
"Go to hell" Sungchan says, pushing his hand away from you. Still, you can't help but notice he hasn't done it immediately, and that they smile at each other before Anton pulls Eunseok out to leave, who maintains his eyes on yours every second of it.
When you're washing the dishes Sungchan does the same thing, he appears from behind, just that this time he hugs you with one hand while he pushes two fingers to check your insides, and making sure his cum is still there, he talks. "I'll never let anybody take you away from me."

THEN.
The evening air was humid and unforgiving and your dress was beginning to accumulate sweat but you were grateful you chose the dress versus the dress pants your friend suggested over your anxious FaceTime call. You found yourself stuck outside the restaurant door, your hand on the knob but not daring to turn it. Kaia, your new colleague, texted you that the doorman would give you directions to get upstairs but you felt overwhelmed by the idea of walking through this elegant establishment and into an even more elegant engagement party, alone. You dropped your hand from the door knob and took two wobbly stiletto steps backwards and began considering acting as if you had an incident and couldn’t make it. Your mind was a revolving door of excuses but not a single one would ease the guilt of lying to your coworker who was going out of her way to be your friend. It was comical how guarded you became when you stepped into this country when the entire reason for uprooting your life was to blossom. Some things take time, you said internally, and took in a large breath before deciding that you had no choice but to go through the door regardless of your feelings. It would be horrible to bail on the one woman at your job who made sure you were okay and went out her way to help you - seeing her for every day the rest of the year after standing her up would be unforgivable in your eyes and no doubt, in hers too.
You hated to be that person but you genuinely didn’t want to walk through the restaurant alone. You stepped aside from the door to allow other guests to make their way in and out while you shot a quick text to Kaia to ask if she could send someone to help you find your way. You gnawed at the inside of your glossed lip and awaited her reply, hoping and praying that there would be other English speakers at this party. You held onto the gift bag of champagne with Kaia’s and her fiancée, Corey’s name engraved on it, italicized gold writing. It was a sweet but simple gift and the card inside said to wait to open the bottle until “what felt like the perfect time, to remember how far you have come.” and your well wishes were scribbled underneath. Your phone buzzed with a text from Kaia saying she sent someone down with no clear description of who to expect but at least it was someone.
You saw his hand before you saw the rest of him - tan, large, and covered in rings - each one silver but varying in size and shape. The color of his skin was golden underneath the full moon and the breeze created by the door opening drifted by bringing along the scent of a cologne you could not name, nor could probably even afford. The expensive smell of him matched his delicately balanced all-black outfit. Delicate brown eyes found yours as he stepped out of the door and closed it behind him. His previously straight face turned into a small smile as he looked at you and you suddenly felt as if you were staring way too hard at him. You dropped your gaze to your high heeled feet and brought your gift bag up in front of your face.
“Is this enough?” You asked awkwardly. The man replied in a smooth sentence of Spanish and you immediately were back to being nervous. Of course he spoke Spanish.
“Sorry, uh, english?”
“It’s perfect. Is there any space on the card?” He laughed, and took a peek inside of the gift bag. You were unable to place his accent but you were more focused on his gentle voice as he complimented the gift you customized for the couple.
“Space?”
“I forgot a gift.” He admitted with a boyish grin that immediately disarmed your nerves. He grabbed it out of your hands and turned to open the door and lead you through the dimly lit restaurant. “Could I put my name on yours?”
“Absolutely not!” You hissed with a laugh as you trailed him through the first floor of the restaurant.
It took all of three large steps across the room before you noticed that nearly all eyes were on the two of you - but especially on him. The air conditioning couldn’t ease the spikes of heat that traveled around your body and up your neck - you hated being the center of attention. It was the one thing you wanted to avoid and somehow Kaia sent you a person who was saying polite things to each person who stood to speak to him. You noticed the consistency between the Spanish and you were able to recognize a bit of the words: big fan, Barca, cannot believe it, el clasico, next match.
It was a familiar thing to stand patiently to the side as the man greeted each person attentively - you were transported back in time. Back to a time that you desperately clawed your way out of. So, although familiar, it was unnerving.
“Uh, ‘scuse me,” you interrupted and his eyes met yours, “what way is the party? I don’t want to interrupt.”
His gaze was intentionally focused on you, listening carefully as you asked him to point you to the festivities. If you stood here any longer, the way you did with your ex-boyfriend, you would begin to panic and that was the last thing you needed to happen.
“Oh, don’t let us take time away from your girlfriend. Go! Enjoy your night.” An older man demanded with a shooing motion and a parental smile. You didn’t have the chance to correct his mistake because the younger man simply thanked him and grabbed your own hand. You stumbled as he guided you through the room and you prayed that no one else was watching but when you turned to glance back at them, they were all staring.
“What's that all about?” You asked him inside the elevator. He leaned against the wall with his arms crossed and shrugged his shoulders, skirting around your question.
“Nuh uh, if you want to sign my card,” you saw a light flicker in his eyes and you knew you’d got him, “you have to explain all of that.”
“I’m Jules.” He said quietly and you noticed the way he held his breath as he extended a hand to for you to shake - the shake turned into a gentle but firm hold. You introduced yourself and he smiled again, making you feel like a schoolgirl on the playground being “tagged-you’re-it” by the boy you had a crush on.
“That doesn’t answer my question, though.” You let go of his arm and crossed yours. His eyebrows knitted together and he simply replied to your comment.
“I’m Jules Kounde.” He reiterated. You mimicked him, telling him your first and last name, still unsure of what he was getting at.
“I’m a footballer.” He said in a guarded tone. He was gaging your reaction and searching for your lightbulb moment, searching for an air of desperation to ooze off of you. Except it never did because you didn’t really know what it meant besides it made people swarm to him. The elevator dinged and he leaned off the wall, his body towered over yours and he blocked the door with his arm letting you walk out first. The ‘intimate’ party Kaia mentioned was anything but - on first glance, there had to be at least 100 people on the rooftop patio equipped with a full bar.
“Oh…” you said with a nod as he stood beside you, the both of you staring at the lively party underneath the stars and delicately placed string lights. You leaned into him and he bent his head down, “I don’t really know what that means.”
He laughed loudly and you couldn’t hold back the giggle.
“If I tell you, can I sign the card?” He asked.
You motioned with a “meh” motion of your hands.
“Maybe.”
“How can I turn it into a yes?” He whispered in your ear and suddenly the night air was cool compared to his breath on your skin. The smell of his cologne and the sheer heat of his breath was enough to make you want to cling to him all night and thankfully, you knew how you could.
“A glass of champagne and a full breakdown of who’s who during this party.”
——
NOW.
“What are you smiling at?” Kaia leaned over the coffee table attempting, and failing, to peek at your phone. Kaia knew you were smiling because of Jules. It was early and the morning sun was shining on your skin. She learned that you processed everything internally and only expressed what you felt was certain. Kaia learned that you and Jules were alike in that manner and suddenly, in many other ways too. Kaia wished she saw it sooner and Corey wished she hadn’t seen it at all: now he was hearing about Jules from Kaia, and hearing about you from Jules. It was never ending.
“It’s nothing.” You locked your phone and placed it face down. Jules texted you multiple times this morning in an attempt to escape the bet - He didn’t score a goal which meant he didn’t celebrate. So, he sent you five dollars (which bought your coffee ) and had to make you dinner. He was begging to be freed from the latter half - he couldn’t cook to save his life. Even though the notification of Jules bargaining with himself in your messages made you laugh, that wasn’t the only one that was making you smile. The first was the surprise that you and Jules planned for Kaia and Corey’s upcoming combined Bach and Bachelorette this weekend. Second, was Jules and his terrible negotiation skills. Finally, surprisingly, was Davi.
You weren’t going to divulge too much information, scared you might kill whatever was budding between you and Davi but the image of Davi’s smile flashed through your mind and you couldn’t help but let one form on your own face. You placed your elbows on the coffee table and cupped your chin, eyeing every bit of the teacher’s lounge to avoid Kaia’s amused expression. If you looked at her you knew you would spill all the tea, way too easily and way too soon. You didn’t have much to tell but Kaia wanted to know what the dating scene was like. Kaia and Corey had been together for years, so you indulged her with the good, but mostly bad, details of dating.
Kaia took a long sip of her coffee and you finally met her eyes that peered over the edge of the espresso she habitually drank. She was a polished, youthful woman. Her honey blonde hair framed her face which complemented her tanned skin and her eyes held a sparkle that was nothing short of mischievous. Her face was flush today and her cheeks were more red than usual. She looked tired but that came with planning an entire wedding while also wrangling kids as a full time job.
You laughed nervously and pulled the sleeves of your cardigan around your hands. You only had a few minutes to bring up the date but you needed validation, desperately. It wasn’t a bad idea to get to know Davi, right?
You assumed that when you became a teacher there would be an air of importance and sophistication when you sat down in the break room - talking about the kids, their work, the helicopter parents and so on. Yet the only thing that changed was your age because there you were, gripping coffee like a young high schooler about to admit that you like someone to your best friend.
“Okay, what is it?” Kaia gestured a “c’mon” motion with her hand. She sniffled a bit before taking another sip of her coffee.
“I think I’m going to a match.” You confessed and she wiggled her shoulders in excitement.
“Again?! How did Jules convince you to do that.” Kaia exclaimed loudly. The other teachers in the lounge eyed the two of you with distaste, as they usually did. The two of you were the youngest educators and were attached at the hip from the moment you met. Where there was one, there was the other. Especially with her class being across the hallway.
“He didn’t, Davi did. It’s nothing serious.” You assured her and a small part of yourself, too.
“No way. ” Kaia placed her palms on the table and slid in closely as if you had just told her the most outrageous thing. Her eyebrow curled at you and you suddenly realized you needed to clarify.
“You’re telling me that it isn’t serious but you are freely walking into a football match and planning to drink, again?” She leans forward before continuing, “Are you going to fuck him?”
“No!” You laughed. “That was not on my mind at all. I just wanna get to know him.”
“That's the lamest answer ever. Nothing serious, sure. Will it be serious enough that you tell Jules?”
“Why would I tell Jules, what do you mean?” You scrunch your eyebrows together in confusion.
“Jules plays with his cousin, see if you can find out more about him.”
“I don’t know….” You admitted, “I don’t want people in my business.”
Kaia eyed you and waited for you to be direct about who you didn’t want in your business but she wasn’t going to hold her breath for that. She knew you didn’t want Jules to know.
“Why?” She questioned
“That’s weird to ask Jules to ask his teammate about his cousin.” You said and began gathering your things to head to your class room. “Like I said, nothing serious and that’s what social media is for. You could find out everything you need to know.”
Kaia rolled her eyes but followed suit and grabbed her own bag but as she rose, she had to grab the table to steady herself. Her hand immediately went to her stomach and her entire neck turned red. She winced for a moment before standing up.
“Are you okay?” You said as you walked towards her and placed the back of your hand on her forehead.
“I’ve had this weird cold for a while. It’s probably the flu.” Kaia swatted your hand away and you poked at her side for that.
“Have you been to the doctor?”
“It’s a cold. Not a death sentence.”
“You are not allowed to be sick this weekend. If you don’t find a way to the damn doctor I’m going to drag you there.”
“And if you don’t find a way to get more information about Davi, I’ll do it myself.” She matched your snark and finished gathering her stuff. “There’s no way I’d miss my own bachelorette party.”
She looped her arm through yours and once again, you were sent backwards in time to when you were just a girl in highschool, walking with your best girlfriends and thinking of the future. The slightest thought of Kaia in her wedding dress sent a bubble of emotions through your chest and up into your throat, it was a daily occurrence but it never became easier. You loved her and Corey, dearly. You found family with them. Even though you weren’t in the wedding, which you were happy to support from the crowd, you had the liberty of working with Jules to throw their joint Bachelor and Bachelorette parties.
The process of planning, organizing, and meticulously preparing for all of the friends flying in was left to you. Despite yours, Kaia, and Corey’s protest, Jules was footing the bill. You had to lie more than once about charging his credit card. He admitted he didn’t check his accounts, because, “that’s what my adviser is for” so it was easy to get away without exposing yourself. He would scold you and actually throw a fit - a harsh criticism of the audacity of you to even begin to think of paying for anything when you were with him. After the criticism, you would be met with a dramatic sulk from Jules but it never lasted long. He never stayed mad at you, not for too long.
“I wouldn’t let you, either. Even if it’s to hold your hair back for a good ole puke and rally.”
“Ugh, god. Just the thought of alcohol makes me want to vomit.” She admitted with a little grimace. “If I get through the day, I’ll be good. Nothing a home remedy can’t fix.”
“It would be quicker if you went to the doctor, Kaia.” She unhooked her arm and stepped across the hall to her closed door. She bent down to unlock and waved you away once more. The shrill of the school bell sent a jolt of exhaustion through you - a weekend without rest was not the best experience but you couldn’t deny the fun you had. Internally, you agreed with Kaia. If you could make it through the day, it would smooth over.
“Yeah yeah.”
Candace slept naked and unbothered, her long limbs spilling out from underneath the covers. Candace barely stirred as he moved around the bedroom and got ready for the day. He never missed a run before going to training. It was an early morning for Jules but that was normal,
Jules thought that the sex would take his mind off of it all: the loss, the frustration, you. You and Davi, especially. That hadn't happened at all. Instead every kiss, every slight of Candace’s fingertips on his skin felt so wrong. Every whispered “I love you.” that fell from her lips while they had sex felt empty and slightly jarring. There was a visceral feeling of betrayal that he couldn’t shake. Was it a betrayal to you or a betrayal to Candace? In the midst of all the huffs and moans, Jules realized that he didn’t consider Candace’s feeling first - which was the most fucked up thing because there he was, deep inside her and not having an ounce of consideration for her feelings. Instead he was only thinking of you.
It shouldn’t have bothered Jules and he knew it enough to repeat it as a mantra but it still did. He could not pinpoint the issue with what he saw when he looked up at you, standing there in a Barca shirt and smiling at a man. Truthfully it was the same smile you gave everyone, but Jules felt it should’ve been reserved from him. Not Davi. As foolish as it was, he didn’t want to see you be happy with someone else. He didn’t want to watch from afar while your eyes crinkled as you laughed wholeheartedly or see you grab another man’s arm the way you did with his out of excitement, or to see the warm gaze you gave him with your undivided attention - your soft eyes were a window into your soul and he wanted to be the one who discovered all of you. He didn’t want to share that. When it came to you, there was no sharing. Jules realized half way through his run, that he couldn’t fight the fact he truly and madly wanted you. As he approached the steps back to his place and skimmed over a text from Candace saying she made it back home, he opened the thread and texted you - opting to tell you that you were being taken to dinner instead of having a home cooked meal.
Jules: I leave for fashion week tomorrow but I’ll be back Thursday evening. Want to do dinner tonight?
You: That works. What time?
Jules: I’ll pick you up
You: why? then you’d have to bring me home, too.
Jules: Trust me
You: when you say trust me I immediately can’t, what are we doing instead of dinner?
Jules: Going to dinner at your favorite spot
You: Jules!! You didn’t have to do that 🥺
The thought of you smiling made his heart skip a beat as he began to respond but saw those three dots appear on the screen, so he waited.
You: you still have to cook for me eventually
You had all of an hour to change and sit on the couch before Jules impatiently rang your doorbell and placed you in a long overdue hug. Jules inhaled a deep before stepping away with a sigh, his eyes scanning your outfit with a tut. It wasn’t a new dress but it was new to him. You felt a wave of insecurity run through you as you crossed one foot over the other and placed your hands on your hips. Jules was a fashion snob but you cared enough about looking presentable and feeling good. It was hard to tell if that fit into Jules expertise half the time and right now you didn’t want to be told that this cute dress wasn’t the right outfit.
“What?”
“Why aren’t you dressed?”
“I am! All I need is my shoes.”
“You’re going to make us late, oh mon dieu.” Jules' accent was thick when he spoke French and it was a pleasure to hear. There were so many things about him that you admired and simply adored - but one of those things you could appreciate the most was his incredible ability to switch between multiple languages.
“Just give me a second, seriously. Don’t be so dramatic.” You turned on your heels and did a small jog across your apartment and turned the corner. Jules’ eyes trailed the length of your legs all the way up to your ass and back down again with a feverish frustration. He groaned and forced himself to think of anything other than your dress or how the bottom of it reached his favorite part of your body: the sculpted by God himself shape of your muscular, brown thighs and how it supported your natural, large, and ever so tempting to touch, ass. His mind wondered what your ass would feel like, knowing that with the size of his hands he could palm both cheeks easily. The same ease he would have lifting you up and carrying you across any distance if you locked your legs around him, all while palming and squeezing every part of your ass. If he was given the opportunity, he would savor it. Jules would leave you satisfied, but he would leave you wanting more. Words failed him more than a few times in his life but his actions never did - no woman could say he was a selfish lover in bed. He took pride in everything and every girl he did. There were no words to describe how much pride he took in you without even having a taste of you yet.
Jules was forcefully thrown back into the reality of standing on your foyer, waiting on you. There was an echo of thuds, which he knew to be shoes, and a yell from you promising to be ready soon. He rolled his eyes but the brightening screen of your cell phone caught his attention. Your YSL bag was sitting atop the small table with all of the contents strewn around it, the phone was among the mess. He collected each item carefully, placing it in your bag. It was the least Jules could do to speed up the process, he thought. It wasn’t at all because he wanted an excuse to look at your phone - he wasn’t that kind of guy, he thought to himself as he picked up the phone and read the Instagram message.
thatsdavif: Thanks for Friday, I had fun! 😘
“Ready.” You announced with a satisfying spin on the balls of your heels. Jules' head whipped up and nodded. His demeanor changed drastically in the last five minutes you saw him and he said nothing as he handed you the now packed purse. You thanked him for getting your things and thanked him for opening your door but he remained silent.
Each attempt to strike up a conversation failed and you weren’t sure how dinner was going to go considering you had to hash out a few more details for the trip this weekend. You sighed aloud, not caring that he would be aware of your annoyance. As wise as he was, Jules still was a man who could act like a little boy. You weren’t the type to force a man to open his mouth and you weren’t starting now. Instead of talking, you resorted to scrolling through your social media feed and then checked your messages. You awed at the photos that Davi sent you and liked the message of his gratitude. You recommended a few spots that were tourist friendly and a few hidden gems of the city. The photos of his adventures made you crave the upcoming trip even more.
youruser: I can’t wait for the next match. I think I finally know all the chants lol
Dinner was awkward but you didn’t allow you to not indulge in the delectable food. If he wasn’t going to address whatever bothered him, Jules could stay mad. When you pushed him, he immediately pulled away. So you stopped doing so. You listened carefully as the waitress told you about the soup of the day and about the wine that would be paired with your meal. It all sounded amazing and smelled it, too. Jules thanked the waitress with a small smile and then focused his attention on nothing at all while fidgeting with his hair.
“Jules.” You said, gently but with a stern undertone. “Did I do something? Was it because I was late?”
“No, no.” A lie, a lie, he thought. “Stress, that’s all.”
“Is there anything I can do to help?”
“No, I’m sorry. I’m being so rude.”
“It’s okay, we all have those days. At least you have some time off.”
“Can I be honest? I’ve never been so ready to get away from work before. I’m just so exhausted.”
He laughed sheepishly then smiled at you and you smiled back, knowing he would have the time of his life at the resort.
“Just think about it: endless drinks, the pool, the yacht and a surprise from moi.”
“A surprise? What did you do?”
“That defeats the point of the surprise.” You reminded him with a straight face.
He began to argue but was cut off by a sudden shrill of his phone ringing - it was Candace. All of the energy you brought into him seemed deflated in an instant. He looked at you for a moment and you nodded to let him know you understood. There was a distinct pain in your chest seeing her name, being reminded of her. You couldn’t hate the girl even if you tried. But, it was hard to like someone who held onto the same man as you and with more access than you will ever have. Jules’ previous relationships were not on your mind as much as this particular one was. It was hard to place the emotion but it was still there, nonetheless.
“I’ll be back,” he said to you and he stood up and began speaking in hurried Spanish.
You fiddled with the menu aimlessly and checked the time. You examined your nails and reread each possible combination of the dish you were considering as your next course. There was an unmistakable chill in the air, making you rub at your bare arms as you checked over your shoulder to find your friend. He was pacing slowly but his hands were animated as he spoke. A sigh escaped your mouth as your gazed returned to the table when a waving hand caught you midway.
Who was that? You thought as you politely waved back. She stood, placing her napkin on the table and sauntered long strides over to you. The table of girls eyed you curiously - it was the WAGs. The wives and girlfriends of Jules' teammates, the ones from the suite during El Clasico. For a moment your heart stopped. You scanned the group of them, hoping and praying that you didn’t see Candace’s face. You didn’t, thankfully. But you were met with judgemental glares, dismissive looks, and a literal head shake. Oh my fucking god, you panicked.
“I swear you get prettier and prettier every single time I see you mija.” Inĩgos’s wife complimented. You accepted her hug and tucked your hair behind your ears before clasping your hands behind your back.
“Thank you, same to you. You look stunning.”
It was true. When you saw her last she mentioned that she had a baby only a few weeks prior. You couldn’t tell then and surely couldn’t tell now.
“I thought you were Candace for a split second, but I’d recognize you from a mile away. What are you up to?” Her smile was genuine and she was as sweet as can be but in your mind, her loyalty lies with Candace and this whole thing looked terrible. You were 75% sure Candace knew you were at dinner with Jules but no one else knew that. No one knew how innocent it was - they didn’t know your relationship with Jules.
“Just eating with our friends.”
“Oh? What friends?”
“No one that you know but he’s close with Jules and I work with his wife.”
“The blonde girl, right? Kaia?”
“Uh…yeah, her.” You bit your lip, unsure of where to take the conversation. It was painfully silent before she spoke again.
“I hope they make it in time. This kind of place is a real pain in the ass when it comes to timing. They charge an arm and a leg for cancellations.” She whispered as if you and Jules weren’t seated at a small table for two. There was no way anyone else was at your dinner party, she was allowing you to save face.
“I bet, I should probably go check and see where they are now. It was good to see you again.” You hugged her once more and nearly tripped over your own heels to get to the ladies room.
“Candace, please calm down.”
“Do not tell me to calm down. Are you fucking her?” She yelled once more, her voice shrill and almost deafening in Jules’ ear.
“No, Candace.”
“I don’t believe you. You’re such a liar.” She spat. Jules tilted his head back and ran a palm down his face with an exasperated sigh.
“Are you going to believe what you saw or are you going to believe what I’m telling you?” He countered. Jules knew how it looked and how it sounded but he was being honest. Jules had never slept with you.
“Do you know how embarrassing this is?”
“What are you going on about, Candace? I told you I was going to dinner with a friend.”
“You didn’t say you were going to dinner with her!”
“What’s that supposed to mean? It’s the same thing.”
“No it’s not. Not when you are so obvious about wanting to fuck her.” His heart stopped for a moment but she continued, “not only are you a liar you aren’t even a good one.”
“I have never slept with her.” He reiterated through a clenched jaw.
“Right and my names Lionel Messi and I won a World Cup. Fuck you.” She spat before hanging up. Jules went back into the restaurant with as straight of a face as he could manage - he wasn’t sure if he was relieved or embarrassed or upset. He rubbed at his jaw and was surprised to see the table empty as he pulled out his chair. He scanned the restaurant to see where you could have gone but then he saw exactly what sparked Candace’s meltdown. The group of girls at the table against the wall, tucked into a more secluded corner of the dining room who were watching him like a hawk.
You tried to fight the tears but they still came. You dotted away at your tear ducts, trying to cry silently and not mess up your makeup in the process. Luckily, there was a powder room and then the actual stalls. You settled yourself into the one furthest stalls away from the door that was not the handicapped accessible stall. You would never be able to show your face again if they saw you bawling like this. Even though it was innocent, it still looked guilty. You still felt guilty. You didn’t care what they had to say but you did care if the word got around about you. As soon as you found an ounce of comfort in the team’s graces, you were losing it. Any hope of getting to know more about Davi vanished. Had you ruined your chance before you even got one?
Your phone rang incessantly from your purse and you wiped your tears without even checking to see who was calling you.
“Hello?” You sniffled into the receiver.
“Oh my god are you crying?” Kaia yelled and you wished you hid it better. “You can’t cry right now because I’m crying right now.” She insisted.
“Why are you crying?”
“Please tell me why you’re crying or else I’m going to freak out.
“Kaia!”
“What?!”
“What the hell is going on? Are you okay, is Corey?”
“Where are you, I don’t know what to do!”
“Kaia, please take a deep breath and tell me what’s going on. I’m just having dinner, it’s nothing.”
“I took a pregnancy test.” She whispered. Your mouth flew open and you could hear her shushing you.
“Oh my god. Is it positive?”
“I can’t look at it. I’m too scared. You need to come over here right now.” You pulled the phone away from your head and looked at the time - it was late but you could still get some decent rest if you convinced Jules to leave at this instant.
“Okay, okay. I’ll be there soon.” You wiped at your face, cleaned up your mascara, and washed your hands before approaching the door. You forced yourself to not think about how it could look with you storming out the bathroom the way you were but Kaia was more important than anyone’s opinion. She sounded so unsure and that was unnerving to you - your head strong and assuring friend was falling to pieces over a piece of plastic that she was too scared to flip over. Facing your reality was nothing compared to hers.
You told Jules that you needed to go to Kaia’s apartment, immediately. Majority of the time she was at Corey’s but the fact that you asked to be taken to her place was enough for Jules to know something serious was going on. He handed you the keys and told you he’d meet you after he paid for the portion of the meal you guys actually got to enjoy together.
You were halfway to Kaia’s when Jules’ hot and heavy hand landed on your bouncing leg, restricting you from the habitual bouncing you were doing. His other hand was doing all the work as he turned the wheel, the veins in his forearm flexing with each movement of his wrist. You sighed out an apology
“Everything will be okay, yeah?” He said as he slowed to stop at an intersection. Jules leaned over to get a better look at you. You made yourself nod but your heart was thumping so hard you were scared he could hear it. Jules' nails were cut low and manicured and where you used to tease him about it, you were now thankful because his grip was so strong. His grip tightened and he asked, “Say it with me.” Jules’ eyes were locked on yours and for a brief moment, you thought his eyes dropped to your lips.
“Yeah, it’s all going to be okay.”
“Good.” He patted your thigh and he took his hand away and placed it on the wheel as if it wasn’t ever on you at all. As if his hand hadn’t lit the match to an absolutely insane of validation to daydreams you suppressed. It was like taking another piece of your sanity along with it.
“I’m sorry about dinner.” You said reaching for the door handle but Jules was already out of the car and moving to open your door.
“It’s fine.” He replied.
“I’m sorry, I know this isn’t how you planned for your night to go.”
“It’s okay.”
“I’ll pay you back for driving me across town.” You mumbled and leaned over the seat to grab your purse and step out of the car. Jules closed the door once you were firmly planted on both feet in front of him, grabbing your fidgeting hands into his own.
“I just said, it’s okay.” He said with a deep resonance that made you hot all over. You couldn’t even maintain eye contact with him but he continued on, unphased by it. “Don’t make me repeat myself. It’s always fine. Especially when it comes to you.”
You squeaked out an “okay” and Jules pulled you in for a hug before shrugging off his coat and putting on your shoulders. He placed a gentle but quick kiss on your forehead before reminding you to text him to keep him updated. You were barely up the drive way before Kaia opened the door and practically fell over trying to get you inside quickly.

dirty little secret (pt.2) - kwak jiseok
Tumblr media
☆彡 Part to is now here!! Sorry it took so long- I had to finish a year of college! Haha!
word count: 1,723 | pronouns used: none | genre: slight angst, then suggestive, then fluffy, college!au | cws: toxic relationship kinda, swearing, drinking, drugs (mentioned), make out session, lmk if I missed something!!
part one here!!
Since dumping Jiseok, you’ve come to the unfortunate conclusion that you live on a college campus- thus meaning that you see him everywhere. He was in your organic chemistry class, he was on sports teams, and that stupid band he and his buddies made just had to be good. It made you furious- of course he had to be a campus celebrity. Everybody knew him, and of course, they all thought he was the sweetest guy ever. It was infuriating.
“Come on, (Y/N)!” Your friend urged, “You’ve been hung up on this all week!”
“So?” You rolled your eyes, “Am I not allowed to hate the campus golden boy?” You were strewn across your friend's dorm room bed, staring at the ceiling and trying to forget the events of the week.
“You can be mad all you want,” your friend continued, “but you cannot let it ruin our evening.”
You pulled your head up. “What do you mean?”
Your friend looked back at you, giving you a cheeky smile. “I got invited to a party and I was told I could bring a friend if I wanted.”
“No way,” you shake your head, letting it fall back down again. “You know that isn’t my scene.”
“Come on, (Y/N)...” your friend whined. “So a guy was an asshole to you one time? So what!? There will always be more boys, so why don’t we go out tonight and try to find you someone better?”
Despite your reluctance to spend your evening in a room full of drunken strangers, finding a new man to occupy your thoughts for a while didn’t sound like a bad idea.
You let out a groan of compliance, “Fine… I’ll come along.”
Your friend let out a cheer and pulled you up off the mattress, tearing you from your state of sulking. “Come on! Let’s find you an outfit!”
The party was in full swing by the time you had arrived. “Fashionably late,” as your friend said. Once inside, your friend gave you a smile.
“Do you want a drink?” They asked with a giggle.
You gave it some thought. Did you normally drink? No. Has this week been a normal week? Also no. “Sure,” you reply with a small smile. Your friend beams at you, offering up a quick “I’ll be right back!” before disappearing into the crowd.
You weren’t always the most social, and you can count the number of parties you’ve been to on one hand. So now that you were left to your own devices, you did what many would argue you do best: awkwardly wait around and really say much. You kept to yourself, finding an interest in the wood grain of the floor, trying to decide what sort of alcohol had been spilled a few feet away from you based on its color. However, your trance of trying to decipher the alcohol content of the floor was rudely interrupted by a familiar voice.
“Well I never assumed you’d be a partier.”
Fuck. You turned around to see Jiseok behind you with a smug look on his face and a drink in his hand.
“And I thought I’d never have to talk to you again,” you say sarcastically. “Looks like tonight is full of surprises.” You rolled your eyes and turned around, planning on making your way to the kitchen to find your friend.
Once inside the kitchen, your friend thrusts a drink into your hand and looks at you wide eyed. “Were you just talking with Jiseok?”
“Yeah,” you rolled your eyes. “He cracked some stupid joke about me being here.” You took a sip of your drink. It tasted like lemonade.
“Well what did you say?” Your friend asked.
“Something to get him to shut up, hopefully,” a voice chimed in from a few feet away before you could answer. The two of you turned to see Jungsu leaning on a counter in the kitchen, with Gunil sitting on the counter next to him hoarding a bowl of chips from the rest of the party-goers.
“What do you mean?” You asked them.
“He won’t stop talking about you,” Gunil spoke, his mouth full of chips. Jungsu grimaced at his poor manners.
“Ever since you dumped him he’s done nothing but nope around at rehearsals,” Jungsu added.
“You knew we were dating?”
“Yeah,” he continued. “But not until it was too late. He showed up really upset the one day, so when we asked what was wrong he told us the story. We all told him that it was his fault.” Gunil nodded next to him. You had only spoken to Jungsu once- maybe twice- so you were shocked by his honesty.
“Besides,” Gunil chimed in. “You’re pretty hot, so that’s his loss.” Gunil laughed loudly before eating some more chips. Jungsu rolled his eyes.
“You’ll have to excuse him,” he sighed. “I’m his babysitter for the evening and I accidentally let him have one too many.”
You couldn’t help but chuckle. Between Gunil’s drunken banter, and knowing that Jiseok also wanted you back, you had to admit that you were starting to feel a little better. “You really blamed him?” You asked.
“Oh yeah,” the two boys said in unison.
“I don’t really know why he thought we would care who he dates. It’s not really our business,” Jungsu said simply. “We shouldn’t determine who he dates.”
“Well Jooyeon didn’t seem too fond of me,” you say as you take another sip of your drink. Jungsu laughed dryly.
“Honestly, Jooyeon is high most of the time. He claims it’s to “mellow him out,” but I think it just makes him more of a bitch,” he snorted. “Whatever he said or did to you wasn’t intentional. Promise.”
You turn to your friend (who you now notice has been eyeing Jungsu up the whole time) and shrug, silently asking what your next move should be.
“Don’t look at me,” they add quickly. “This is all up to you- but definitely give it some thought. Would you really want to date a guy who was too embarrassed to tell people you were together?”
You sigh. While, yes, that is a good point, you really can’t help but feel drawn to Jiseok again. Like a moth to a flame, you felt a little too willing to risk getting burnt again. So, despite your better judgment, you left the kitchen to go find Jiseok again.
When you found him, Jiseok was reffing a game of beer pong. Next to him, was Jooyeon who, low and behold, was high as a kite.
“Jiseok,” you called from the doorway. He instinctively looked in your direction, and you waved him over with a stern look on your face. “We need to talk.” Jooyeon gave him an annoyed look, but after some whispered words between them, Jiseok made his way over to you.
“What’s up?” He asked, voice soft compared to the noise of the room.
“I want an apology,” you stated simply. “A real one.”
He paused, looking in your eyes and clearly trying to collect himself. Maybe you were imagining it, but for a split second he looked genuinely upset. “Can we go somewhere more private?”
You shook your head, “Fine.” Jiseok led you through the house and into a bathroom, closing the door behind you and locking it. He took a deep breath before looking you in the eye again.
“(Y/N),” he began, “Listen… I… I’m so sorry,” he said with a twinge of sadness in his voice. “Really, I am. What I did was wrong and unfair to you. I shouldn’t have made you feel that way.”
“Then why did you do it?” You ask. “Why make me feel bad for being myself?”
Your words seem to strike a chord in him, and he’s at a loss for words for a second. “I… I don’t know,” he admits softly. “I’m sorry.” A sigh escapes his lips after you don’t respond. He looks to the floor. “Can I make it up to you? Please?”
“Make it up to me?” You ask. “How?”
The small twinge of sadness that you saw mere moments ago in Jiseok’s eyes was replaced with something else now. Something darker that you weren’t quite sure you’ve ever seen before. He took a step closer to you, placing a hand on your hip.
“Please,” he mumbled as he leaned closer to you, the scent of alcohol lingering in his breath, “Let me fix this.” Against both of your better judgements, Jiseok’s lips land on yours, with one hot kiss slowly transforming into many. His breath mixed with yours as your lips chased each other’s. The lemonade taste that lingered on your tongue soon mixed with whatever was on his. “I wanna take you out again,” he sighed between kisses. “Wanna let everyone know that you’re mine.”
You sighed into his mouth, now grasping at his shoulders. “You mean it this time?”
He pulls away from your mouth, looking you in the eye. He takes a deep breath before speaking, and you choose to ignore the wandering thought in the back of your head that wants to know if he’s just catching his breath or buying time before he answers. He begins to nod slowly. “Yeah,” he says breathlessly, blinking at you. “I’m serious.”
You smile, about to lean in again when the doorknob to the bathroom jiggles.
“We’re busy!” Jiseok calls, leaning in and capturing your lips again.
“C’mon man! I gotta take a piss!”
Jiseok pulled away for you with a sigh at the sound of Gunil’s drunken voice. You, on the other hand, couldn’t help but laugh. Jiseok took his hands off of you, making his way to the door and unlocking it. “Great timing,” he said sarcastically.
“Thanks,” Gunil sneered back. “Now move.” He shoved past him, making his way into the bathroom, which you quickly took as an indication to get out. Once outside, you and Jiseok turned to each other, and laughter bubbles out of your chest once again. Jiseok shook his head, wrapping an arm around your waist and heading back out to the main rooms of the party.
“I’m really surprised you just let me kiss you like that,” Jiseok marveled.
“What did I tell you?” You smiled over at him, “tonight is full of surprises.”

「Summary: It took one mistake of going to a party and another with you being in an alley watching utter chaos unfold with a guy that's called, Red Hood.」
「Warnings: Cursing, some mentions of alcohol and drugs with slight mentions of an abuser. Nothing too in depth just minor mentions is all.」

「Chapter: Two Mistakes」
───────────────
God, the music was loud. Too loud. Being able to feel the bass in your chest and body isn’t entirely fun and the fact that you had only come to the party was because your best friend had guilt tripped you into it. For now, one mistake has been made and that’s coming to the party.
Second mistake was about to happen in approximately 35 minutes.
Voices, men and women. Laughter and the stench of sweaty bodies close together, alcohol, and- Christ, that guy doesn’t know how to keep his hands off that girl’s ass. You bring your cup up to your mouth at the sight, mind now pulled from the depths of thought before you glanced down at your drink, half tempted to go chunk it at the guy then leave. I’m going home… You thought. Quietly, you made your way past people. Sometimes needing to push by them and given the occasional annoyed glare or scoff from someone.
It didn’t take long for you to make it into the kitchen, dumping your drink into the sink then tossing the red plastic cup into the trash before rushing out of the kitchen as a woman walks in, her friend behind her and she passes her a lighter. Really? You could hear the thought bouncing around in your head like a ball in a pinball machine, the little “ting ting” over and over.
The music started up again. Rock. Loud and causing more people to be hyped up.
Stupid Girl
The irony of the song lyrics that were loud enough to make out. How that alone made you roll your eyes, moving past more people and unable to find your friend. Your ride for the night is now gone.
Annoyance had started to build along with a headache as you finally made it to the door of the room, grabbing the knob and twisting it open then letting the door slam shut behind you. The loud music muffled along with all the people in that damn party. You spared a glance at the door once more before letting out an exasperated sigh then taking the stairs out of the building.
Best place to hold a party where cops or nosy people couldn’t be found, go find a relatively quiet and isolated abandoned building in the worst part of Gotham City. No. Scratch that. Any city but especially not Gotham.
This place wasn’t that good. Too many wacked out loons running around. Some dressed as clowns, a literal scarecrow, and that weird guy- Mad Hatter? Was that the name he went by? Who cares, just stay away.
You shook your head as your feet hit the first floor. Somehow you could still hear the bass from the new song playing, maybe some people in there needed a doctor to poke around their ears. Make sure that no one’s eardrums get busted. You crossed the main area, footsteps echoing throughout the empty room before making it to the backdoor of the building, the same one you and an asshole of a friend came through.
There was practically no noise outside that could be truly annoying. The downtown streets busy with the nightlife of Gotham while here in this more isolated area was the breeze and-
Your head turned to the left, eyes widening as a man was thrown, hard, against a wall. A loud cry leaving him as his back came in contact with said wall. He slid down the brick wall, letting out grunts and breathing deeply, trying to regain balance.
“No, no, shitbag. You’re not passing out on me yet.” The voice carried throughout the alley before a guy took long strides to the other man. Dim lightening aside, you could at least make out his height and this guy could easily punt you across the damn city.
Your stomach dropped and you swallowed back saliva, sweat gathering on the back of your neck. Yet your feet stayed planted on the ground. Keeping you there and forced to watch the whole scene play out.
He leaned down, grabbing the man’s shirt collar and pulling him up then slamming him against the wall. Compared to last time this wasn’t as bad but it did knock what air the man managed to catch out of him. “Keep those eyes peeled. Ears open too. I’m giving your worthless ass a change to live,” He leans forward. The light from the street lamps made the red on his helmet noticeable. “If I ever see or hear that you can’t learn to keep your hands to yourself then you’re going to have to learn the hard way.” He reaches a hand to his side, out of your view, pulling out a pistol and pressing it against the side of the man’s head. “Ever hit your kid again and I won’t be as merciful.”
The man struggles before going still as the gun is pressed to the side of his head. Any retort he had was gone as sweat started to roll down the side of his face before he nodded. “Okay! I-I swear! I won’t-” “Not a won’t. Make it never.” The guy interjected. “NEVER! I’ll never do it again!” The man blurts out without hesitating, voice shaky and filled with dread. “Good. Now,”
He doesn’t waste another second, dragging the man off the wall then shoving him towards the alley exit. “Get your worthless ass out of my sight.” The man stumbled, nearly falling on his face but scrambling to his feet and rushing off.
You still stood there. Next to the backdoor. Eyes wide and mouth gaped open. Not only did you just watch a man get the shit scared out of him but the same guy who tossed said man now turned. He was standing straight, head facing you.
You had made jokes before. Six foot tall man is something you’d swoon over but this? Maybe under different circumstances and not in an alley while he’s still got his gun out. Well, it’s at his side but the point still stands.
There is a silence that fills and for a brief moment you could swear he’s just hesitant now. Unsure of how to address the fact that you were just standing there, staring at him while he did the same. With a shake of his head, a clear sigh - what sounds like one with how scrambled his voice sounds in the helmet - as he puts the pistol back into the holster before turning his body completely to look at you. “How much…” He trails off, thinking before taking a single step forward. “Did you hear?” He took another step.
You watch. Forced to since your whole body is frozen and your feet feel like someone trapped you in cement. Your mouth moves, nothing coming out. In an instant your body betrayed and abandoned you.
His body was tense, shoulders and upper body hunched slightly. It’s like he was getting ready to pounce at you. Whatever god was watching, if any, you were already praying to. Every fiber of your being torn between screaming at your body for being stupid and just standing there like a deer in headlights while the other was already making a last will.
“I’ll ask again,” His voice lowered, he wasn’t aiming to hurt but to simply figure out but that still wasn’t comforting by any means as he took more steps to you. “I-I saw the guy fly against the wall!” You finally managed to get out, mind racing as the world was almost spinning. He stops. About less than half of the way to you and making the alley feel like it’s shrunk around you and is forcing him to be closer.
It’s like he’s thinking on what to say next or do. Maybe he’s not that scary because he just stands there then straightens himself, standing up and arms at his sides, looking at you. “What’s your name.” It wasn’t a question. He wasn’t asking.
Your brain short circuited as you stare at him, bewildered.
It takes you a solid three minutes before you finally blurt out your name next. He simply stares at you before turning around, pulling out a smaller gun from the belt that hangs tightly around his waist, the ends of his jacket moving with his movements. “Go home. Last thing you need is getting into trouble.”
That’s all he said before aiming the gun at a rooftop, a hook and line shooting from it while another line wrapped around his wrist, dragging him up from the ground floor and into the shadows of the buildings.
Second mistake of your night. Staying in the alley then telling the guy, Red Hood, your name.

Can You Trust Me Blind?
Summary: Dottore brings a woman home for the night.
Warnings: Smut, blood, Dottore
Word count: 2,100+
Tumblr media
Hair twirled around his finger, spinning round and round in circles the same way Dottore would take his own bangs as they slipped out of the multitude of clips and pins he tried to use to wrangle them up and out of the way, only for those two strands to inevitably fall in his face again. It was annoying. A hassle dealing with it as he tried to scrawl out notes between the blue stands blocking his vision, but the locks in his hand seemed far easier to tame as he played with them.
Soft, well taken care of, and a complete mess as it sprawled out across the pillowcase. It wouldn't be a surprise if there was a knot or two jumbled up in there.
His fault, of course.
Dottore was the one who slid his hands into her hair, tangled his fingers in it like he was grasping at a knitted scarf being slowly wrapped around someone in the dead of winter as he tugged her head back. The length of her neck exposed without a hint of shame. A perfect canvas. Just like snow after it fell, painting the world anew.
Every footstep tainting the pure landscape that went on for miles.
To taint. To mar. To ruin.
The scent of perfume had overwhelmed his senses at the time, even had Dottore halting for a moment to burry his nose into her collarbone where she had no doubt dabbed it before heading out for the night. Flowery, feminine, with a faint hint of vanilla to it that was quickly masked over by iron.
Red on his teeth, on her neck, on the sheets below as he rocked into her.
A scream filled his ears.
This wasn't like him, taking a woman back home, let alone to his bed. It had to have been over seventy- maybe even eighty- years since Dottore had gone off and done something as stupid as this. Breaking all rules of common sense (something he had once considered to be a good friend of his) and welcoming her in with little to no trepidation even as the door slammed behind her.
She had looked around curiously, eyes going over the place like she was trying to suck in every last detail of the liminal space. He never was one who bothered with decorations, so there wasn't much to recall. Maybe a photo here, a trinket there, or a jar full of something no one truly wanted to question Dottore about. Nothing out of the usual for him. However, it was nice to see someone showing such a good trait, a healthy one in this wretched world, rather than glancing back at the door like they were already having second thoughts.
She wouldn't have even been the first if that were the case.
This woman had spent a good hour by his side before his sudden...impulse. Yes, that was a good way to put it, he thought as the strands of hair fell from Dottore's fingers.
One of Pantalone's parties Dottore had only agreed to go to because the banker had stuck his foot down and demanded that he come and talk to possible sponsors for the lab himself rather than having the Ninth do all the lip service. A shame, truly, seeing as that's what the man was best at. Might as well do what you're good for in this world. That's how Dottore saw it, anyway.
He had stumbled across this one along the way.
Dottore had been grumbling to himself about having to deal with it all, especially after having to explain the current project he was working on in a way that could only be explained at a kindergarten level of intelligence for the third time as this oaf of a man kept asking the same question in different ways (like changing the font would give it meaning anew), when she had made a snide remark as he passed by.
“I'm sure your little friend there is the type to attempt putting a square peg in a round hole.”
And oh, he couldn't have agreed more.
She wasn't a sponsor herself, or hadn't seemed to be one. Actually, she waved off most of Dottore's questions about her with what could only be described as practiced ease, instead choosing to fixate on his earring. Eyes locked on the thing as she tried to figure out what was in it. Making a guessing game of it. Primordial water? Sap from the leylines? Ligma? Gatorade? …Whatever that is.
However, she proved to be preferential company over the people who were better off waving their wallets in the air than even attempting to listen to his grandiose ideas. Not even the jingling of mora in hefty sacks had been able to keep him from sharing a glass of whiskey with her. The sound of ice clinking against glass and her voice proved to be far more entertaining.
Digs at Pantalone's ‘friends’ as the banker liked to call them, making fun of their outfits (mainly on her end), and insulting their intelligence proved her to be a great way to spend the otherwise dull evening.
Decent company.
That's all it was.
That's all it was supposed to be, even as she toyed with his earring like she had any right to. Blue light reflecting off her skin.
Somehow, he couldn't bring himself to stop her.
Somehow, that hour passed by like it was nothing but a handful of seconds.
Somehow, he leaned in and kissed her as she was making another remark. Something about a Lord this or that ‘needing to let go of the fact he's bald, because we can all tell he's wearing a toupee’ when he could taste the drink on her painted lips.
Just like he could still taste her blood.
She had said right after “I don't think that shade is your color” with a laugh as her thumb brushed over his bottom lip. No doubt trying to smudge the lipstick off.
Dottore couldn't even recall his retort, no doubt he gave one, but right now his mind was running the same scene that just happened on his bed on loop rather than bothering to remember his own words. If it was truly important, he'd no doubt recall them later. After this film in his head stopped reeling, or the tape itself broke from overuse.
Thighs wrapped around his waist, squeezing him tight between soft flesh he couldn't help but worry about bruising under his touch that was urging him closer and closer as Dottore filled her to the brim. Her nails dragging along his back. Hisses of both pain and pleasure bubbling in Dottore's throat as he slowly stilled.
Her moans bordered on pornagraphic as this woman apparently had no issue being loud. Much less in his space of all things.
Their kisses as she tugged him closer. Rushed, frenzied, even when he wanted to take a step back, a big breath, and truly savor this moment as her dress slid off and onto the floor.
It all reeled back to when Dottore stood before her with the cravat he usually wore in hand.
Blue fabric hanging in between them as he pinched it softly.
The reason he didn't even get the chance to see her eyes roll back into her head from pleasure alone.
Dottore was the one who slid it off his neck. Untying it the same way he did every night after being enraptured by his research for days on end before coming home and crashing into bed. A practice so well memorized he could do so with his eyes closed. Ironic, being he was the one to ask to blindfold her.
Half of a sentence was spoken before she just stopped to stare at the cloth. Eyes darted from him and back down to it in a repeated cycle until Dottore had asked the question again.
Louder that time.
Clearer.
Leaving no room for doubt.
“Is this something you're willing to do?”
She had stumbled over herself as she got out an “okay” and “yes.”
That had to be the least sure of herself he had seen her all night.
She hadn't moved much as Dottore slid the cloth over her eyes, only reaching her hand up to rest on his arm, fingers playing with one of the leather bands on his arm as he tied it in place. Like it made it easier to take her mind off the fact she was, quite literally, going into this blind as he made sure to double, even triple, check it wouldn't budge. Not easily, at least.
But still, she let him do it.
A neat bow sealing the deal.
The idea to joke she was like a gift quickly passed as her hand fell back down as the sound of Dottore's mask being placed on the nightstand filled the otherwise quiet space. A soft, subtle click. Only their breathing and that. Echoing as if it were pans clanging against each other.
“Is that why you wanted me blin-”
“Yes.”
What she was going to ask was obvious. After all, if he was in her shoes, Dottore very well would have done the same. Asked questions. Pried into matters that don't concern him.
Red eyes had bore down on her, blue cloth covering away the chance of seeing her looking up at him with the possibility of fear crossing her face.
No panicked looks. Not this time.
It was better this way, he learned. Less chance of someone seeing the scars that plague his skin and….this was why he typically preferred doing this with someone he already knew.
Someone who already knew what to expect from him, who wouldn't suck in a sharp breath as Dottore's hand slid along the curve of her waist to reach behind and tug the zipper of that dress down for her. The little tag between bare fingers as she spoke up again.
Good, she wasn't trusting him blindly.
Maybe she was smarter than he thought, but that doesn't say much when she's in his bed.
“You know, people usually go for biting and scratching instead of something like this when hooking up with what's essentially a total stranger.”
“Yet you agreed. Why?”
“I'm already here, am I not? Would be a real shame to blueball the both of us.”
How crude, but he couldn't help but to agree as Dottore pressed a kiss to her lips even while chuckling against her skin.
And another as he slid his tongue over her lips and pushed her down onto the bed. A small grunt came from her as her back hit the mattress. The zipper already tugged down as she tried to shimy the dress off even as the mattress creaked under her with every move. Old springs that needed to be dealt with.
At the time, he had wanted to promise not to hurt her, not in a way she wouldn't enjoy, anyhow, but now she lay beside him clearly passed out. She has been for the past two hours, thirty-four minutes, and forty-three seconds now. Her back to him. Moonlight peeking in through the window, leaving dust participles visible in the otherwise dark space as the beams shone down on her skin. Lighting up the tiniest bits of blood as bright as an apple seeped through the bandage he placed on her neck after she fell asleep.
All the more visible like this.
He couldn't help but trace his fingers over the cotton.
She really just let some stranger, a harbinger, him of all people no less, do that to her. To feel her pulse under his lips and still dare to break skin. To leave her in the dark as his hands wondered.
Either this girl was incredibly stupid or had no self-preservation instincts.
Maybe both.
Dottore couldn't say he would be surprised either way. She sure did seem like the type that could go either way. Laying there like nothing was wrong even as he reached over her and picked up his mask again. Cold in his hands with material a familiar weight before it slid out of his fingers again as he set it back down on the table.
For now, this woman was asleep. For now, he wouldn't have to worry about her reaction to what lay under that mask. The scarred man she chose to tumble into bed with. So, for now, he wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her close.
The scent of flowers, vanilla, and blood filling his nose.
He didn't understand this woman in many ways. A bit of a flirt, one who thought it more entertaining to crack jokes, and who seemed all the willing to listen as he rambled on.
She stopped and listened to him.
And all Dottore could ask himself with this information was: what sort of woman was she that she would choose to lay with a monster?
