aromantic/arospec aspd culture is getting very rare "crushes" on people (only ever one at a time, usually strikes fast when it happens but never when you're already in a relationship with someone who you've had a "crush" on, etc), until eventually you realize that those "crushes" aren't crushes, but are actually you developing an exception, and it just presents like "romantic" attraction because you very easily get territorial, protective, jealous, etc over your exceptions because they're the only people you feel like you can actually care about.
oops

Hey! My name is Arsenic and this is my confessional blog!
This blog is for mentally ill people who want to get dark fantasies, thoughts, feelings, secrets, etc etc off their chest. If its dark, please feel free to ask it!
This includes but is not limited to: attention seeking, violent thoughts, sexual thoughts, shitty things youve done, trauma, etc. This blog welcomes and encourages people with 'scary' or 'unpalatable' mental illnesses/issues to send in asks (eg. Aspd, schizophrenia, pyromania, bipolar, szpd, and more! Any mental illness is welcome.)
I have hpd, npd, conduct disorder, adhd, autism, a few paraphilias (anti contact for the big three) and probably a dissociative disorder. I am endo neutral, i am punk and scene. Do not interact if you believe in cluster b abuse, believe that all paraphiles are offending and disgusting, believe that you can be alternative and right wing, or are bigoted. Anyone else can interact as long as youre not planning to harass or be a dick.
I welcome people of all ages! When sending in an ask you are welcome to start it with '__ culture is'. You can also ask questions or give advice if someone asks. I allow physically disabled asks too. My dms are also open for questions or small talk. Put a trigger warning at the start of the ask if you think it could be triggering please! Thank you and good day!

Why isn't adultery one of the factors leading to BPD diagnoses since almost everyone i've ever known that suffered from it also were serial cheaters?
We had an amazing time interviewing our brilliant speaker Josef @theantisocialborderline ! He is a survivor of pervasive childhood adversity that took the shape of three personality disorders alongside several other “psychological anomalies”. Having recovered from BPD, actively treating ASPD and OCPD, and overcoming the effects of four untreated cluster b relationships, he is here to share insight of his journey regarding treatment, dispelling stigma surrounding Cluster B and debunking abhorrent phenomena such as narcissistic abuse. Ultimately, he seeks to reach out to others, creating a network of restoration that negate the harmful effects of misinformation being spewed by the very institution that should be helping people afflicted with personality disorders, the American Psychological Association.

Understanding Impulsivity Control in Psychopathy: Unveiling the Complexities
Tumblr media
Psychopathy, albeit a widely misunderstood concept, has been the focus of much research and debate over the years. This is my first attempt at a blog…PERIOD. DO NOT CRITICIZE ME FOR ANY GRAMMATICAL ERRORS PRESENT IN MY POSTS. I am someone who lives on a roller coaster. The GIFs above are about as accurate as I can imagine in my current state of mind.
For anyone who understands #BorderlinePersonalityDisorder (#BPD) , this mental health disorder is right up there in ranking with Antisocial Personality Disorder (e.g., #AntisocialPersonalityDisorder; #Anti-Social-Personality-Disorder). BPD is an absolute nightmare on the body, both physically and mentally.
Close your eyes and let your brain take you to your childhood. Note: I sincerely hope your childhood includes thoughts and/or memories of the imaginary I am about to describe. Imagine the excitement that you experienced when you thought about, or went, to a park with rides. The atmosphere was exciting and scary! What was the one ride that you relate to you the most? Was it the haunted house? Was it the roller coaster? Now, what are the commonalities between the two? Was it excitement? Was it scary? Was it the feeling of unknown danger or emotions?
Ponder on the questions that I asked. I will elaborate further in my next post. I hope you will placate me with answers or questions based on the information I shared. This disorder is not easy to understand to those who do not have the diagnosis, or those that have not known a person with the disorder.
Until then, think hard and deep about your thoughts and emotions on a visit to a place with rides designed for those willing to accept a challenge.

you'll never convince me that empathy's a real thing, what happens is you see a person in a bad situation and imagine being in their place so you put yourself in a bad mood too, you're not "absorbing or sharing their emotions" you're just making their bad situation about you and assuming they feel the same way as your imaginary self in your imaginary scenario, and you may get it right sometimes but without any guarantee exactly because there's no actual connection between the two emotional states
edit: check the comments before replying thx
