bioluminescence | b. blake
Tumblr media
masterlist
summary: season one — you thought all bellamy blake wanted was sex and other women, but when you sneak outside of the camp walls at night, bioluminescent plants are not the only shocking discovery you make, and not everyone is happy about it.
warnings: fluff, swearing, jealousy, mention of sexual themes, (L/N) use, roma
pairing: bellamy blake x reader
word count: 4.1k
Sleep was a rare luxury after you and the other Ark prisoners were sent to Earth, especially since you were all crowded in a small camp surrounding the drop ship. Teenage hormones, anger, violence, and trauma were not a great combination for peace. So, it was either crying, fistfights, or the incessant moans of couples who couldn't keep it in their pants for more than five minutes that usually kept you awake at night.
You were certain it was Bellamy Blake and his two model-looking female companions who were often to blame for that last subject. Although to everyone in the camp, it was very obvious that their relationship was solely physical, neither Roma nor Bree seemed to appreciate when other women talked, interacted with, or even sat near him. Clarke was a heavy target because of her co-leadership with Bellamy. And so were you.
You were within the inner circle, the informal 'Earth council'. You were also handy with a rifle and knowledgeable in tracking, so it wasn't exactly surprising whenever Bellamy took you with him on various missions and hunts. Sometimes though, he would bring you with him even if the task wasn't within your skillset—those were the times you were left feeling a little confused.
Nevertheless, a small friendship sprung from it. You weren't best buddies, but you weren't opposed to each other's company either. That was a big no-no to Roma and Bree and they frequently expressed that fact through passive-aggressive tactics.
This night was no different from others. Thankfully, it was the never-ending fistfights that kept you awake instead of other's carnal endeavours. You opened the flap of your tent and stepped out into the crisp air; autumn was definitely approaching. Hugging your jacket closer to your body, you looked around the camp, unsure of where to wait out the commotion. Everywhere was taken, so you decided a brief walk in the woods wouldn't hurt. Well, you hoped it wouldn't. At least if the Grounders killed you, you would finally get some undisturbed rest.
As you made your way over to one of the fence-wall openings, you ran smack-bang into a barely dressed girl with long brown hair. Roma.
"Watch where you're going, bitch," she spat, scrutinising your appearance from top to bottom.
Ignoring her lovely remark, you eyed her jeans and the way her upper half was only covered by a grey sports bra. "Aren't you cold?"
"Not now I'm not." She smirked, eyes flickering to Bellamy's tent.
You grimaced. I so didn't need to know that.
Right on cue, Bellamy emerged from his tent, fully clothed. He scanned the surroundings before his hardened gaze briefly landed on Roma and then settled on you; it was impossible to miss the way his face softened when your eyes met. Strange.
"Jealous?" she asked, regaining your attention.
"Unlikely."
You brushed past her, though she made an effort to forcefully knock your shoulder and spit another curse at you. Classy.
Bellamy took a step toward you. "Hey—"
But you simply moved past him, continuing toward the wall and saying, "A real gem you've got yourself there."
At least Bree was all bark and no bite.
You could hear him sigh as the distance between you both grew.
Truth be told, you were a little jealous. An unfortunate truth but still a truth all the same. You knew you were beginning to feel something deeper for Bellamy and it was becoming difficult listening to other girls brag about their nights with him. Not like you would ever tell him though—he wasn't a relationship type of guy and as far as you could tell, his feelings for you were platonic.
Never mind. You could settle for his friendship... for now.
You had made it outside the camp walls. At first, you planned on circling the fence for a while, but when your eyes caught on something glowing from the opposite side of a tree, you strayed from your path. Rounding the tree's trunk, you found a glowing neon-pink flower; the species of which you were unsure, but it was beautiful. Then, in your peripheral vision, there was something else lighting up your vision, something blue this time. There was another flower just a few trees away.
And again, you walked over to the strange plant, only to find yourself now on a journey that kept leading to more and more glowing flowers the deeper into the woods you trekked. They were almost everywhere and at this point, you were practically running with an excited grin on your face. In the near distance, numerous radiant colours lit up an area covered by a thick cluster of trees. You wove yourself through branches and leaves, pushing your way into the bright section of the woods.
Once you emerged from the trees, amazement morphed into your expression. You had stepped into a small meadow filled with glowing flowers of various colours that covered the forest floor. There were countless species, but they all shared the same mesmerising radiance. Much to your disbelief, there were even electric blue luminous butterflies that concealed the tree trunks and fluttered in the air.
"Bioluminescence," you whispered to yourself.
It was so beautiful, you could have cried.
Maybe you should just leave the camp and build a hut here. It would certainly beat living with the others.
As you moved further into the small clearing, the butterflies flew closer around you. Holding out an arm, one butterfly tentatively circled your hand before landing in your palm. You laughed in amazement, watching as the small creature curiously crawled across your hand and ticked your skin. Okay, that settled it—you were definitely a Disney princess.
The sound of branches snapping and leaves rustling suddenly pulled you from your amazement; it was coming from where you had entered the clearing. You reached down to your belt only to find the knife holster on it empty. Of course, you didn't bring your knife. You had left the camp's safety and didn't even think to bring a weapon. So stupid.
Before you could reprimand yourself any further, a tall figure emerged from the tree line. The tight dark blue shirt was an easy identifier as to who the figure was. And so were those deep brown eyes.
It was Bellamy. "Woah."
You let out a sigh of relief, feeling your tensed body relax again.
His gaze swept across the vivid tree-encompassed meadow, sharing the same wonderous expression you once had. The overpowering glow from the butterflies turned his tanned skin a light blue, defining the contours of his face and arm muscles. He sort of looked otherworldly.
"What are you doing out here?" you asked.
The incident before you left camp quickly returned to mind and it was evident in the slight irritation etched on your face. He didn't need to respond for you to realise that he had followed you. Great. His little girlfriends were going to have a field day tomorrow if they saw him come after you.
Bellamy's eyes found yours, taking note of your negative reaction. His steps were cautious as he began walking towards you. "I could ask you the same thing."
He stopped in front of you, peering down through a few stray strands of dark brown hair whilst wearing his infamous lazy smirk. No wonder girls were always fawning over him; he was gorgeous, and he damn well knew it too. Even you were falling into the very same trap. Unlike them, though, it was the moments you shared with him when you were alone that conjured your attraction to him. Sure, he was easy on the eyes, but you had also learnt that he was surprisingly a decent human being. More than decent actually, despite how he presented himself to others.
He treated you with respect—a lot more than many others had ever done. You had learnt to trust each other, communicate effectively, and work as a team. Sometimes, you would even find yourselves discussing things that you both intended to keep within till the day you died, things that felt too intimate to share with anyone else.
No matter how much you hated it, you couldn't help but develop feelings for him. Even when it seemed he was preoccupied with other women.
Bellamy eyed you, waiting for the snarky retort he knew you were putting together.
You sighed and turned around, crouching on the floor to inspect one of the neon-pink flowers. "Shouldn't you be teaching Roma and Bree gun handling safety in your tent right now?"
That line was dangerously close to sounding like jealousy and you knew it. You bit your tongue because Lord knows you were most likely to expose your feelings for Bellamy through word vomit.
If only you had been facing him to witness the shame washing through his eyes.
"Funny," he said. "But no. I've got more important things to do."
"Like what? Making sure your best hunting partner doesn't get killed by glowing plants?" you joked, glancing over your shoulder to see his reaction.
It wasn't a grin or smirk like you expected. Not even a little chuckle. Instead, he simply stared at you with this intense look in his eye; it was almost sad but also like he was trying to communicate something to you telepathically.
"Something like that," he murmured.
After those words left his mouth, something about the atmosphere shifted. You suddenly felt overwhelmed with emotion and his soul-piercing stare was not helping. There wasn't a wide selection of movies on the Ark, but you had watched them all, including all the romance movies. The only thing you could compare Bellamy's gaze to was Mr. Darcy's in Pride and Prejudice. Reluctance. Longing. It was all there. Had you been completely wrong about his feelings for you? Or were you just imagining it?
The likelihood of Bellamy sharing your same feelings seemed impossible, so you chalked it up to your wishful imagination.
You stood back up, facing him but avoiding making eye contact. "Well, I—uh," you stammered. "I'm not going back. Not yet."
"I didn't come here to take you back."
That made your gaze meet his.
Why did you come then, Bellamy? you thought.
He side-stepped you and you turned to see him wandering deeper into the meadow. He began observing each and every beauty and oddity the small sanctuary held, touching the petals of every flower with a delicateness you had never witnessed before. Soon enough, you felt compelled to join him.
The two of you must have spent an hour in that meadow, inspecting each species of flora, hovering your fingertips through the glowing cusp of each plant as if you could feel its light on your skin, laughing together when a butterfly landed on the tip of your nose. Sometimes you caught Bellamy watching whenever your face lit up with excitement as you discovered something new. He never really looked at what you had found; he just looked at you, but you were too overjoyed to even contemplate why.
You felt like you had entered a dream, protected from the outside world where there were Grounders, war, and bitchy brown-haired girls. Everything real was forgotten, even your unrequited feelings for Bellamy. You just enjoyed his company in this dream and pretended it would last forever.
Somehow, you had both ended up lying on the forest floor side-by-side, surrounded by flowers as you stared up at the starry night sky through the tree crowns. It wasn't as cold as before; you guessed it was because of Bellamy's close proximity to you. One of his hands was behind his head, the other on his stomach. His warmth was radiating off his skin and onto your own.
You could have fallen asleep if you closed your eyes. Probably not the most logical idea though.
Bellamy's quiet, yet deep voice disrupted the silence. "It's just a distraction, you know?"
"Hm?"
"Those girls," he clarified, and you watched as his words turned to mist, carrying into the black sky. "If I focus too much on the fact that I have to control an entire camp of teenagers, fight a war against the Grounders, while taking care of Octavia and y—" he cut himself off, closing his eyes with a sigh. "I just feel like I start to lose myself."
Your focus shifted from the sky to him. Even he didn't seem to be looking at the sky anymore, despite his gaze still being pointed straight upward. He looked lost in his own thoughts. Serious and sombre—much different compared to how they had been just a short while ago.
"Well," you began softly. "We can't have that. You already seem a little rough around the edges, Blake."
A grin slowly formed across his lips and he shook his head. He turned his head to the side, looking down at your smiling expression from where he lay. The weightiness from before had melted from his demeanour. Because of a little distraction.
You had thought those two girls he spent most nights with were there purely for his own physical needs or because his attraction to them was greater than his self-control. Never had you contemplated the fact that it might have been because he was mentally struggling with the hardships of being a leader. Of course, how could you have? He had never told you before now.
Your brows furrowed. "Why tell me?"
The muscles in his jaw clenched and the grin fell from his lips. A sense of seriousness returned but this time it was less heavy. It seemed more like a weight was lifting from his shoulders. Like a declaration. Like a long-awaited confession.
You felt something warm brush against your hand; it gently grazed over your knuckles, lighting a fire beneath your skin. In Bellamy's dark eyes, you could see the reflection of his hand caressing your own and your heart leapt to your throat.
"Why do you think?" he murmured, his eyes flickering between your own, urging you to connect the dots instead of making him say it aloud.
Your lips parted and the crease between your eyebrows deepened.
Every time he picked you first to be his partner on a mission, every deep conversation you shared when no one else was around—they all had a hidden meaning. All the times his hand brushed against yours as you walked in sync side-by-side, the times you caught him staring at you through a one-hundred-person dense crowd, or the way he would step in front of you as if to shield you whenever there was even a hint of danger—it was all because...
"Oh," you whispered.
"Yeah." His eyes flickered between yours before he turned back to the stars. "And I—I understand if you don't feel the same way; I know I haven't given you much reason to. From those girls to the... the radio, and the culling on the Ark. If I could take—"
His sentence was cut short as you leaned over him, pressing your lips to his. You could feel his pulse racing in his lips. Or was it your own? Probably both. Your hair fell to the side and his mouth started to move against your own. He began to rise, moving you up along with him until you were both kissing in a sitting position.
Bellamy's hand moved to cradle your jaw, his lips slow and tender. Everything felt like it had fallen into place, like this was exactly how things were supposed to be, with his lips on yours in the middle of a fairy-tale-like meadow whilst surrounded by a field of glowing flowers and beautiful winged creatures.
The butterflies weren't just circling you now, they were somehow fluttering around in your stomach too and it felt exhilarating.
Unfortunately, the kiss did have to come to an end at some point. Even so, the warm fluttering in your stomach never ceased. Bellamy had pulled away first, his hands gently falling from your jaw and back into his lap. He was looking at you and at first, you were afraid he would get up and leave, or tell you he had changed his mind. But he didn't. A smile crept across his lips—not a self-satisfied smirk or a tantalising grin, but a genuine smile.
Forget the butterflies; your stomach was doing somersaults now. He found your hand once more and interlocked it with his own in your lap. His thumb drew small circles on the side of your palm almost as if he knew you needed a reminder that this moment was really happening.
"That was my first kiss," you admitted.
His smile became a little nervous. "Was it okay?"
Was it okay? This boy was a little clueless if he couldn't tell that you thoroughly enjoyed having his lips on yours. So, you answered him with another soft peck to his lips, then pulled back again to see his reaction. He chuckled, nodding his head to say he understood.
"We can always come out here to practice if you want," he said, this time with a smirk.
You laughed. "I think that's a good idea."
He tucked a lock behind your ear and gently brushed pieces of hair away from your face. You could feel warmth creeping into your cheeks, turning them a rosy pink. Well, it was probably more of a violet hue due to the intense blue glow from the plants and butterflies. Either way, it still revealed how nervous he made you feel.
"It's getting late. We should probably head back and sleep," you said. Bellamy raised an eyebrow, creating his own little innuendo with your words and your eyes widened. "Not together! Alone, I mean. In separate tents. With clothes... on..." you trailed off, realising you were only digging yourself a deeper hole.
You sighed, pinching the bridge of your nose in embarrassment.
He just chuckled and rose to his feet. "Come on, (L/N). Let's go sleep."
You rolled your eyes with a smile as he helped you stand up with him.
For a brief moment, you gave the area one last look, imprinting the memory into your mind. Who could have guessed that when you left the camp walls you would enter a fairy tale of vivid colours and electric butterflies? Or, even more surprising, that Bellamy Blake would later confess his feelings for you? All you had wanted was an escape; instead, you got a dream come true.
Bellamy pressed a hand to your lower back, guiding you with him towards the tree line in comfortable silence.
The walk back to the drop ship was pretty quiet. No more words needed to be said; a conversation that clarified what you two were now could wait for tomorrow when your brains weren't clouded by fatigue and the fresh excitement from confession. Some things hadn't changed though. Bellamy still stole glances at you every now and then, as you did him, earning a nervous smile and blush each time either of you got caught. Your hands alternated from brushing against one another to ever-so-slightly linking pinkies.
Okay, maybe things had changed a little.
You passed each flower that had led you to the meadow and this time, they became less and less as you grew closer to the drop ship. As you came up on the camp walls, the sound of fighting and conversations had died down and was replaced by the faint crackling of dying fires.
Finally, you both stepped through one of the openings and were within the camp. There didn't seem to be anyone awake; with the way the moon was shining down straight overhead, it was clear why.
Your pinkie fell from Bellamy's and you moved in front of him, taking a few slow steps backwards. "Uh, that's my tent over there," you said, gesturing behind you.
His eyes never left yours as he continued to walk toward you. "Yeah, I know."
"Oh, you know, do you?"
A grin stretched across his lips as he hummed and reached for your waist, pulling you against his body. Your hands wound around his neck, a smile present on your face as he leaned in, his lips mere inches from your own. His lips had just brushed against your own when someone behind you cleared their throat and you both jumped apart.
Bellamy peered beside your head, semi-glaring at the interrupter behind you.
What a surprise it was when you turned around to see Roma, arms crossed—clothes on, thankfully—and looking severely unhappy.
"You have got to be kidding me," she said with a scowl.
Perfect. Great. Absolutely fantastic. Looks like her field day had come early.
No way. You were too tired to deal with this. You gave Bellamy an apologetic glance before attempting to slip away through the gaps between tents. Unfortunately, it wasn't in Roma's best interest to let you off so easily. She caught your wrist and jerked you back toward her.
Bellamy looked like he was about to step in, but you beat him to it.
You tore your wrist from her grasp, words dripping with bitterness as you said, "Never do that again."
For a split second, she looked the slightest bit intimidated, but then quickly covered it up with disdain. Her gaze flickered from you to Bellamy; it was hard to miss the way she straightened her posture and tried to look more presentable for him.
And for a split second of your own, you felt the slightest twinge of fear that Bellamy would change his mind about you and leave with her again. But at that very same moment, he gently grabbed your hand and guided you back to his side, dissipating all your previous worries.
Both you and Roma looked down at your interlocked hands in disbelief.
"Listen, Roma." He sighed, sounding like he was desperately trying to keep his cool. "I think it's best if you and Bree find another tent to sleep in from now on."
Her disbelief turned into pure astonishment. "What? Are you serious?"
Bellamy lightly squeezed your hand.
God, he was putting this girl through the five stages of grief. You almost felt bad. Then you remembered the daily torment she had been putting you through just for existing and the remorse immediately washed away.
"Because of her? She's not even—"
"Choose your next words very carefully," he warned in a dangerously low voice.
Her mouth opened and shut a few times before she realised any insult thrown at you would end badly for her. It's not like Bellamy would hurt her, but he did have power over the camp, so he would probably force her to share a tent with Myles or something. His non-stop babbling would drive her to insanity.
She gave him a defiant look. "What if we don't want to leave?"
"I'll take the tent down and move it somewhere else."
"Then Bree and I will make both your lives a living Hell."
You could hear Bellamy suppress a laugh. "Unlikely," he echoed your previous words.
Roma looked to you as if you could help her case—the audacity. You gave her a sarcastic 'what-can-you-do?' shrug which just enhanced her seething temper. It was obvious that she was getting nowhere and the moment she realised, you swore you could see her ego literally deflating.
She made a short high-pitched noise of frustration and spun around, her hair whipping melodramatically through the air as she practically stomped back to Bellamy's tent. You could hear her call out to the other girl inside, telling her to 'pack her shit' and that they were moving tents. Not long after, the blonde-haired girl emerged from the tent flap holding a bundle of clothes. Roma must have explained to her what happened because they both shot a venomous glare in your direction and then walked off in search of another tent.
You sighed in relief as they disappeared out of sight. You were about to walk back to your own tent, but Bellamy tugged you back to him once more, his arms wrapping around your torso as your hands fell on his chest.
"I'm sorry," he said. "I thought she'd handle it better."
You fiddled with the material of his shirt, half-smiling. "I told you she was a gem."
"Yeah." He chuckled. "My taste of women has been a little... questionable."
Your hands moved up to his shoulders, pulling your body up against his. His fingertips grazed the exposed skin of your waist, sending a wave of goosebumps across your body.
"You should really try breaking that trend."
He had that same intense look in his eye as when you were both in the meadow. This time it didn't hold any sadness or longing, but rather a sense of finality and affection, like his greatest wish had finally come true—that would make two of you. One of his hands moved to cup your cheek, stroking your cheekbone with his thumb as his face grew closer to yours.
The heart thumping in your chest almost gave out as you reflexively leaned further into his warm embrace.
"I already have," he murmured before his soft lips descended upon yours.
And the butterflies returned.

whatever the hell we want // bellamy blake x reader
summary: reader didn’t care much for living, the eldest blake sibling made it worthwhile, even enjoyable
warnings: angst, suicidal thoughts/ideation, swearing
word count: 1908
a/n: this one is a bit heavy. i was having a bad day so i will apologize for turning the cutesy “how did bellamy and reader meet” request into this emotional abomination (sorry)
you probably should have been excited to be on the ground. it was that or being floated–tossed into a lock sealed door, trapped, and taunted with the faces of whatever loved ones chose to say goodbye (you didn’t have to worry about that, the only family you had, you met in lock up–your bio dad, marcus kane, was awful and on days that ended in ‘y’, you opted to pretend he didn’t exist) before another door would open and you’d be sucked out into space. the little oxygen in your lungs would tear them apart. what had sustained you for so long would then be your downfall. what you needed to breath would kill you.
you’d be so hot, so hot as your blood boiled and so hot as you died, staring out at the stars you loved so much. you were nineteen, the oldest prisoner to be alive and on the arc, but even kane’s powers had their limits. in three days you would be floated. three days until that would be your fate and still.
still.
when you woke up on that dropship you were pissed. it was the first thing you were mad about.
with a forever fuck-it attitude, you unbuckled your seat. floating around with a few others you ignored your best friend when she told you “sit back down, dumbass!” you cracked a grin and then the lights flickered.
while entering the new atmosphere something went wrong—something malfunctioned. maybe the shutes didn’t deploy or maybe you were just lucky but when the screaming started, you didn’t hear it for more than a few seconds because you were flung into one of the metal walls, just above the seats, and your vision spotted before going disappearing completely. sounds dulled, everything dulled. you were probably dying, you smiled because of that
when you landed, you woke up. that was the second thing you were mad about.
you were suspended in the air in some kind of fabric. It wasn’t uncomfortable or anything, not until you attempted to stretch your stiff limbs and found the material twisting. it spat you out on the ground and you made a noise. it bubbled from the back of your throat, expressing your obvious upset, you lifted your hand to touch your cheekbone–it was throbbing and you had the vague memory of your face slamming into the dropship wall. at fucking nineteen, you weren’t supposed to have to deal with any of this. you should’ve been floated a long damn time ago, would’ve like to have been too. you were the oldest prisoner on the ark, only alive because of who your daddy was. the daughter of marcus kane (you hate him as much as the next person) you’d been spared. he tended to get what he wanted.
where you lie, a boy does across from you on another makeshift bed. you lean over him, study him. He has some features you recognize. freckles and long eyelashes. you’re peering over him, observing, when those eyelashes lift and he’s blinking up at you. you scoot backwards not wanting to bang heads (yours was quite tender).
the hand that you have been absentmindedly feeling around your face with, came away with no blood coating, “i’m ocatavia’s brother, bellamy.” bellamy blake, okay. you’d heard of him and despite never meeting him before, the stories octavia had told you, mostly about how he protected her and made life under the floor less horrendous, you decided he was safe.
you glance at him, not all that hesitant. your best friend was a force and if she left you alone, in here, with him, he was trustworthy. your lips are pressed into a tight line. you don’t need to introduce yourself, he already knows. of course he does. you assure yourself he knows because you’re his little sister’s best friend and not because you’re kane’s daughter, the one who killed a man and got away scot free. you had a damn good reason but the ark’s justice system was lacking.
you tell yourself he isn’t judging you, he doesn’t look like he is, but you know you deserve to be judged so it’s a losing battle.
you glance down at your wrist and see it’s bare. the band that transmits your vitals to the ark is missing, and when you look at his wrist, you realise he isn’t wearing one either. “lost in the rough landing?” you ask, with a lilt to your voice.
his shoulders shake as he laughs a little. “something like that.”
you sit back up and climb back into your hammock. this time your hands are both out beside you to stabilise yourself. it’s quiet for a moment, the tent dark enough you know it’s night time. “why’d you take it?” you asked, unable to stop your curiosity.
“the ark hasn’t done anything for us. they sent us down here to die, because we’re expendable. in their eyes we’re just repaying them.”
oh. so your dad probably thinks you’re dead right now. that doesn’t unsettle you as much as it would the average person–actually you don’t mind it at all. let him learn what it means to fail, to lose, in some permanent way. let him face the brunt of the consequences his actions wrought for once. maybe this sentence would be the one to ruin him.
you stare at the pitch of the tent. are we on earth right now? is it safe? did the others survive? what happens now? your mind is flooded with questions.
“you think loudly.” bellamy informs.
“i’ve been out for awhile, huh?” in response, he nodded. “is it okay? is everyone okay?”
“they are. you almost weren’t though. that stunt you pulled? it was a whole different level of dumb.”
it’s peaceful until sunrise when the screaming starts. Guttural moans and groans echo from within the camp. “That’s jasper,” bellamy supplies while you’re rubbing your head, all but pleading with the ache to subside.
then octavia’s bursting through the tent flaps, “i knew i heard voices!” she pulls you outside with her and just… woah. everything is brighter. unlike the monotones on the ark there’s all kinds of colours. blue sky, green tress. they’re so green and so many different shades. light, dark, sage, evergreen. you’ve never seen anything so beautiful, other than your stars. you miss them, and looking up at the sky you can’t see them only clouds–white floating cotton that moves with the wind. you’re on earth and you don’t know if you belong here but in all fairness you didn’t belong on that spaceship either. the only place you thought might be a good fit for you was now miles upon miles away. a good thing, if you asked octavia.
the “whatever the hell we want” movement was one you supported quickly and joined even quicker. bellamy and his buddies at its forefront you figured, why not. you liked to fight, so thats what you did. you threw punches and received them and slaps to the face. It satiated you need to self destruct and would until bellamy or octavia intervened. you didn’t quite care for danger and took as many guard and patrol shifts as you could. you liked carrying a weapon, liked exploring, and hated being cooped up and confined.
you were walking away from the wall, alone this time, with no particular destination in mind. sometimes you brought octavia with you but she was busy talking and flirting (not in that particular order) her brother never liked when she joined in on your adventures so it was probably better that she wasn’t with you.
“not dragging my sister along with you this time?” a familiar voice chided. bellamy blake. speak of the devil and he shall appear.
you shrug your shoulders and continue walking. “not this time, no.”
“hey! come back. where the hell do you think you’re going.”
“i haven’t decided yet. maybe the river. maybe the caves. maybe, it’s none of your business,” you respond dryly, still walking ahead. his hand clamps down on your arm and he stops you from moving further, “what, bellamy? what?” his eyes, alight with fire, something you’ve seen in your best friend once or twice, full of curiosity, and understanding, meet your own. he gazes into your dead ones, takes a look at your blank expression and bends down. a hand grips the backs of your thighs and then he’s picking you up. you’re slung over his shoulder like you weigh nothing and had you not been so emotionally empty you would've been incredibly impressed. “what the hell bellamy? what are you doing?”
“whatever the hell i want, though, that? it doesn’t apply to you anymore, not when you don’t know what you want,”
“i do,” you argue.
“not when what you want isn’t anything good.” he fires back.
and that’s how you met bellamy blake. at first you hated him, hated how he drug you along wherever he went–patrol was nice but he would insist on bringing you everywhere, even on the most pointless errands. to do the most boring things. he made you drag logs to help reinforce the wall and sometimes he didn’t even help. prison warden or friend, who fucking knew?
but bellamy kept you busy. kept you distracted from the brewing storm in your head.
you got used to him. bellamy blake became your new normal and even made you smile a few times, usually when firelight was reflecting off of both of your cheeks as you roasted your dinner. the first time, you sat on a log beside him, your supper sitting inside of the flames, blackening. he went to grab the stick from you–probably guessing you were attempting to light yourself on fire, or that you’d begun to dissociate. you snatch the stick back. “it’s burning,” he warns, voice having a sharp edge.
“sorry if i would rather taste charcoal than two headed, six tailed, mutated squirrel.”
that night he held you. you let him.
close to his chest and away from any and all danger, you slept soundly and dreamlessly for the first time in years. the sleep–it helped with your mood, too.
bellamy held you again. he always liked to hold you—to have a hand in yours or resting on your shoulder. this time, the touch wasn’t comforting, to assure himself that you were real and not going anywhere. this time that physical touch was the only reason you weren’t going anywhere. his grip was tighter, thank god.
the grounders were coming an the only way to stop them or at least to slow them down was to blow up the bridge. you needed to place the bomb but everyone was terrified to let you go, bellamy especially. you did what you had to, sneaking away and setting it. you were scared–you didn’t know when it happened, when you started wanting to live, but it was a soul-deep change that you knew had something to do with the blake siblings. specifically bellamy, who’s companionship you hadn’t wanted but needed more than anything.
you placed the bomb on the bridge and detonated it, running as fast as you could as the moss covered stone crumbled behind you. the structural integrity was giving away and you were so close tot he edge but… you started to fall. you closed your eyes, pressed them shut as tightly as you could and then that hand was there.
bellamy’s. closed around your wrist and holding on for all he was worth. your heart beat so hard in your chest you had to look down to make sure you hadn’t been speared by a grounder, and that it wasn’t leaking out.
you loved him and you were so thankful he never listened to you. when you said you didn’t need him, when earlier, you shouted at him and told him not to follow you–it was a weak distraction but now, he pulled you back onto solid ground and wrapped you in his arms and you had no regrets. none at all. well… you had one, but it was easily rectified.
it was a struggle, pushing him away at the shoulders, holding him at arms length and seeing the worry on his face all over again. it was a struggle but when you stopped regretting things and dove back in, moulding your lips together in a passionate kiss, everything was better. bell’s hand palmed your cheek and pulled you impossibly closer as yours moved through his hair.

What I think different batfam and co members would do in the first season of the100 because the hyperfixation is back
Bruce- is a part of the council, was against sending the 100 to the ground, almost sacrificed himself when they needed to kill 300 people, became a doctor like his father
Dick- alright so I’m mixing in a bit of book lore with him, he was arrested for stealing for the younger kids in the orphanage for years (not sure if it’s called that in the arc), was almost 18 when the 100 were sent to the ground and on the ground he took the role of a leader a lot like Bellamy
Jason- after Dick was arrested he replaced him with carrying for the younger kids, after they got to the ground he was attacked by grounders while following Dick to find mount weather and almost died, after his near death experience he was really into fighting the grounders while Dick negotiated peace
Tim- part of the elite in the arc (his parents are in the council) was never arrested (doesn’t mean he didn’t commit any crimes because he definitely did) so wasn’t part of the 100, he figured out the 100 were sent to the ground and went to Bruce knowing Bruce was against it, Bruce told him about the oxygen problem and helped him find a way to go to the ground, Tim revealed to the public the oxygen problem and escaped to the ground, when he got there he helped with negotiating for peace but when it didn’t work he did everything so they would survive against the grounders, his mom died while the arc landed and his dad was severely injured, he wasn’t taken to mount weather
Cass- she's nightblood grounder who ran away so she wouldn't have to be in the conclave one day (gonna get into more details on her background post)
Steph- was arrested for getting pregnant (a lot like Glass in the books) but unlike Glass she did tell who actually get her pregnant and got him floated, wanted to do anything to make sure her and the rest of the 100 survived no matter if it meant actual genocide
Damian- he would definitely eat on the ground but he would never get arrested, after he found out about the100 he thought it was the right decision because that what had to be done to make sure the survival of the human race which caused a huge fight with Bruce
Bernard- on the arc was training to be a doctor but was arrested for using too much medicine on a patient, the patient ended up surviving because of that but Bernard was still arrested, on the ground he was the healer for the rest of the 100, wasn’t taken to mount weather

may the best bait win! propaganda under the cut:
bellamy and clarke:
They start off as a rivals-to-lovers kind of arc, the actors are married and have a kid in addition to (allegedly) being friends with benefits in the early seasons They have multiple intense romantic moments even while they're with other people, the actors were told to play them romantically and have spoken up about it, and are now married, they once won a "sexiest moment" award despite it just being him pushing her hair back, they get married in the books, they constantly tell each other that they need each other, and call themselves "the head and the heart"
they get married in the books the actors were told to play them romantically for seven years, but in the final season, clarke KILLS bellamy because the showrunner hated his teen girl fanbase. they also had multiple almost-love confessions, and constantly said things like "i need you" and called themselves "the head and the heart"
"m/f pairs who have some kind of weird fucking thing going on that is never explicitly named platonic or romantic" "couples whose romance is teased but never confirmed as such" No matter how much the showrunner tries to deny it, it was quite obvious from the beginning that Clarke and Bellamy were supposed to end up together. But then Clexa happened, and the massive backlash to Lexa's death (understandable) pretty much killed any chance they could manifest that romance. I'm okay with that, because it allows Bellarke a complexity that most straight pairings don't have. But the chemistry, and the chemistry was strong - so strong that the actors got married!
They're canon in the books the show is based on, and their plot seemed like it would be a slow burn enemies to friends to lovers, but the producer actively made fun of fans for shipping it and ended the series with clarke killing bellamy.
janeway and chakotay:
Janeway is the Captain of a Starfleet ship lost so far from home it will take decades to reach. Chakotay is the Captain of a Maquis (rebel) ship also lost there. They decide to work together to get home and combine their crews when the Maquis ship is destroyed, and Chakotay becomes her second-in-command. Because of the seriousness of the situation, Janeway feels that she cannot afford the distraction of a romance and so they never get together. They have NO personal space and look longingly at each other quite often and one episode has them forced to abandon ship potentially forever and they live together in a little house and he builds her a bathtub because she complains about not having one and they share a romantically charged massage where he tells her a made up story about a warrior and the woman who inspired him which he openly admits is made up and actually about them. Also he holds her while she cries about their chance of going back to the ship being destroyed. In a different episode she “dies” and he cradled her body while weeping about it. They also have candlelit dinners regularly and she lent him a copy of the book her ex-fiancé gave her, and every time the show conspires to make one temporarily unaware of the other, they flirt hardcore. An episode designed to show how they wouldn’t work as a couple only makes more people ship them. Also a young version of Janeway meets older Chakotay via time travel and asks him if they’re together in the future despite her being engaged at that point. He declined to answer directly.
they have a lot of Tension thruout the series & a very deep relationship, but Janeway has someone waiting for her back home & Chakotay ends up in a romance plot with another person in the last season (that I personally felt came from out of nowhere but whatever) I rooted for them! I rooted for a str8 couple! I did not care that Janeway had someone waiting for her back home even tho I usually do! but I did not care! they deserved to fuck!

I think it's important to say that Zoro's loyalty comes from his sense of justice and honor, so he would never follow anything he didn't believe it's good and fair. If anything, his faith is not blind but completely conscious.
He sees all Luffy is, he knows Luffy better than anyone else, to the point they don't need words. The same is also true, Luffy gets Zoro and that's why they trust each other without a doubt. They are captain and first mate because they are on the same page.
Like—
Zoro knows Luffy has this weird thing that allows him to feel the intentions of a person. Luffy can decode anyone, he can see right through them. He has a strong sense of justice, like I said before. When it was revealed that Nami had betrayed the crew at the Baratie, Zoro wanted to let her behind given the evidence, but Luffy insisted that she was their navigator. Zoro didn't know what was happening exactly, but he trusted Luffy's instincts and so he agreed to go after Nami.
When it comes to taking sides, Zoro trusts Luffy's judgement. Even if it kills him inside, like when he had to let Luffy fight Crocodile for the first time. In Jaya, Zoro stood with Luffy, allowing Bellamy to beat them, because he understood without words what Luffy was thinking. It was not blind, it was not senseless. Zoro had his blade ready to cut Bellamy's throat and for a moment, he tried to figure out what Luffy was trying to communicate. Only then Zoro did as he was ordered.
When Zoro saved Smoker, too. You can see the pride in Zoro's eyes and smile because Luffy is amazing at figuring out people. Zoro saved the marine and that's the reason they were able to survive Arabasta.
Zoro has questioned Luffy. When the whole thing with Ussop happened and Zoro didn't agree with the way Luffy wanted to proceed, he said it. He's not afraid of doing so. Zoro knows what type of man he's willing to follow to the end of the world and if Luffy were any less than what Zoro expects, Zoro wouldn't be there. Zoro guides Luffy to be the king of pirates as much as Luffy guides Zoro to be the best swordman in the world.
It's not a matter of senseless devotion, because Zoro wouldn't pray to or follow any god. The man Zoro follows is his friend, his captain, his nakama, the king of pirates— all in one combined.

Luffy vs. Zoro at Whiskey Peak
Unpopular opinion maybe, but the Luffy vs. Zoro clash in Whiskey Peak made sense for their characters. You could even argue that it was bound to happen, given their personalities.
Luffy likes the people who feed him. In the the face of their suffering, no matter who's responsible, he's too angry to concern himself with the reasons behind it. Zoro, on the other hand, prefers to handle things independently without saying much about it, especially if it means his crew gets to enjoy themselves a little longer
So it's not really surprising that Luffy would be blindsided by finding their hosts cut up by his swordsman, and that this would send him flying into a fit of rage. If he's never paused to listen to context or backstories before now, why would he start here? And of course, Zoro is not the type to back down from a challenge. He will match Luffy's energy and respond in kind
"But if Luffy were a good captain, he would have stopped to listen to Zoro's side of the story." Vivi tells him he's a bad captain two arcs later, precisely because of this kind of behavior. It clearly leaves an impression on Luffy, and we see he's grown into a better leader by the time he reaches Amazon Lily. (Almost as if Oda set all this development up on purpose with Whiskey Peak. HMM...)
"But Luffy refused to believe that Nami had killed Usopp in Arlong Park." This argument is like comparing apples to oranges. Nami did not actually do the murder that Johnny and Yosaku claim they saw, nor is she capable of killing people in cold blood. Of course Luffy isn't going to believe Nami killed Usopp based on hearsay. But in Whiskey Peak, Zoro did cut those bounty hunters. Luffy sees the evidence for himself, and he knows the carnage Zoro is capable of inflicting once he puts his mind to it. There is no denying what happened. Nothing other than Zoro saying "someone else did this" (or Nami knocking the soul out of him) was going to stop Luffy from going ballistic
"Why would Luffy fight so hard to recruit Zoro into his crew, firmly believing that he wasn't a bad person, only to later attack him because he believed Zoro was capable of harming 'innocent' people?" Because the fight was never about whether their hosts were "innocent" or not, not really. Their fight was about what Zoro did (assaulting the ones who fed them), and how those actions made Luffy feel (mad as hell, because these people FED THEM) For Luffy, context did not actually matter at that moment in time because, for him, "they fed me" unequivocally means "they're my friend", full stop This is even shown again in Mocktown! Both when Luffy unquestioningly eats an apple from Doc Q, and when Bellamy buys Luffy a drink in Mocktown. In the first case, Luffy only lived because he was lucky. And in the second case, he assumes Bellamy is a good person despite all evidence to the contrary, only to have his face brutally smashed into the bartop by Bellamy. Luffy is shockingly bad at reading people who try to feed him.
Luffy has interpersonal conflicts with all the core members from East Blue at different times. The fight with Zoro is the only one instigated by Luffy. But surprisingly, their fight highlights their similarities instead of their differences. They still fight equally and work together against BW agents who try to interfere with their fight.
Tumblr media
I think that's what Oda wanted to showcase with this scene.
In short, Luffy's initial anger stemmed from his protectiveness towards those who have fed him, while Zoro's actions were driven by his dedication to the crew and subsequent refusal to back down from Luffy's challenge. It was a clash resulting from miscommunication and misunderstanding, something that is not typically a problem for them — until it suddenly becomes one When all is said and done, they're both quick to forgive and forget. This, too, is fitting for both their characters. From that point onward, Zoro continues to demonstrate that Luffy's trust is not misplaced. And Luffy never, ever doubts Zoro again after this

this girl was wilddddddd. she was called miss firecracker by the press, she shot one of her lovers three times (he was fine, she missed and said she did it just to scare him and that she was a good enough shot that if she was actually trying to kill him he’d be dead), she filed for divorce over a common law marriage and still got a six figure settlement even though they were ruled as never legally married. my all time favorite story about her is that her first husband filed for divorce four days after the marriage because he claimed that she refused to speak to him for their entire honeymoon because she hated that he liked eating ham and eggs and she called it "plebian"

guess it was a lawless land
Summary:
“You’ll come get me, right?” she asks, and maybe it’s a trick of the light, but he swears she’s blushing a little bit. “When you find someone good. I want in, too.” He doesn’t even hesitate. “Of course I will.” She clinks her empty beer bottle against his own, and it feels like a vow. So, when he hears about the Marcus Kane campaign, his very first call is to Clarke Griffin.
Bellamy gets into politics because he likes being right.
It’s a perfectly reasonable decision, as far as he’s concerned; he has great opinions, and a lot of them. If he were probed to give another, albeit far more vulnerable answer, he’d say that he got into politics because he wanted to be able to make a difference. It sounds corny even in his own head, though, so he’d probably never admit that aloud, but the point remains.
The world has not been kind to him – his mother didn’t get the proper medical care she needed because she couldn’t afford health insurance, the foster system nearly bankrupted him and almost ruined his relationship with his sister, and the process of not only applying to but also attending college as a first-generation nontraditional student had felt like it might kill him. It would be nice, he thinks, to change some of that. Maybe not all of it, maybe not all at once, but – baby steps.
When he finds that once he’s finished his history degree at GW, he isn’t ready to stop going to school yet, he’s not horribly surprised. He worked so hard to get to this point, and so he lets himself think, for the first time, of what he wants to do with his life, and he decides to embrace the more optimistic part of him. Lets himself latch onto the idea of making real, tangible change.
So, he stays, and he gets his master’s in political science, and he starts interning on campaigns. And the second he’s there, he realizes that this is it. The thing he’s meant to do. His voice is important, in those rooms; they take him seriously, not because he’s someone’s kid or nephew, but because he’s good at this. He keeps being referred up, further and further, and so his first real, full-time gig outside of grad school is on the Jaha campaign.
Even though he starts off in more of the volunteer coordination side, Cartwig – Jaha’s Chief of Staff – realizes he has a natural aptitude for the writing. He starts working with their communications team, mostly on speeches, shadowing the Communications Director, and learning as he goes.
That’s where he meets Clarke Griffin.

ricky rocks. flash back episode !!!
“everyone needs to just shut up,” echo doesn’t look at any of them and yet her eyes are wild and unable to stay in one place. “we have to figure a way out of here.”
she can feel her heart in her throat upon the dawning reality that she had no plan and half the people in the room with her were a bunch of dimwits.
“that’s kinda a hard thing to do when you told us to shut up.”
“keep your comments to yourself before i take that gun back, john.”
murphy rolls his eyes at the sound of his name; at the sound of the way she says it. it’s always so hostile and harsh whenever it comes out of her mouth and it only makes him hate it more.
it reminds him of the way his mother used to say it.
“why don’t we just leave, simple as that?”
“we can’t just do that, murphy. there are still other people here,” raven still sits on the floor, watching the two.
“yeah, people that are probably already dead and if not, who do you think the ones that are gonna get killed going to be when we come to their rescue?”
“that’s so classic of you, murphy.”
“what do you suggest we do then?” he turns his chin fast to face octavia who gives him an irritated look.
wow, wasn’t he just a crowd pleaser today.
“we wait till bellamy wakes up.”
“bellamy?” murphy looks disgusted, glancing down to him and his peaceful state in octavia’s lap. “i like him much better knocked out.”
“we don’t have time for that… or this,” echo shakes her head, interrupting the nasty stare octavia gave that would ultimately lead to an argument. “you better hope he wakes up soon because i’m not carrying him.”
“maybe if you didn’t hit him so damn hard.”
“hey, shut it, murphy. otherwise you’ll be right with your pal, bellamy.”
he grumbles, turning his shoulder away from them, “what’re you looking at?” his eyes suddenly meet the face of a boy he had never notice up until now.
the skinny boy with black hair was quick to put his hands up in defense, scooting further away from the menacing stare murphy continued to force in on him.
“that’s what i thought, string bean.”
this was the least ideal situation to be in with the least ideal group to be together. outside of this moment, not one of them would have willingly step foot to be among one another.
although the base was big but filled with a small amount of people, their worlds barely ever collided.
“alright, what do you wanna do echo?”
she blinks, looking down to raven who looks like a little kid with her legs crossed. she feels her chest swell up with importance at the undivided attention and suddenly a drive of adrenaline flows through her veins once again.
echo hated everyone. it was easy to tell. her parents died at her ripe age of 7 where she was handed off to a strict military woman who beat her own values of no remorse, empathy, or emotion into her. that woman died the moment the virus took over the base and echo couldn’t have been more happy—until they didn’t let her leave.
no one was allowed to leave, for their own good as they would say. the remaining adults of the base had an idea that they could repopulate and help rid of the disease that turned the dead into living once more. but here they were, the remaining adults being what they feared and echo being in a room of people she hated—except raven. now, she could stand raven.
“i’m all ears. whatever you need me to do, i’ll do.”
echo smiles, yeah, she didn’t mind her at all. raven was the only one with a couple brain cells who could function.
“try to wake boy toy up, then let’s kill the rest of these fuckers.”
**
it didn’t take much to wake bellamy up, but it took a lot to calm him down.
“why would i trust you?”
“because i’m the one with the gun,” her teeth shine past her lips in a snide look at his clear upset state.
it only provoked him more, taking a step closer, but echo is far from fazed. she knew bellamy and the type of person he was, therefore she felt far from inferior when around him like she knew he was trying to do.
before the fall, echo spent her whole first year in basic combat training with him due to him shadowing the instructor. he was a douchebag who thrived on proving his superiority over the younger trainees, including echo.
“bellamy, just listen to her,” octavia forced herself into his peripheral vision, hoping he’d step away from her. “we have no other options and echo knows what she’s doing.”
“and i don’t?”
“you seem to have forgotten she had you out cold moments ago, buddy.”
“murphy, i’ll kill you.”
“woah, woah, woah,” mock marinates in his voice. “she’s the one with the gun, don’t think she’ll let that happen.”
“i wouldn’t be against it.”
civility was hard to achieve, especially in the beginning.
“will you all just calm down,” raven stands a foot back with her arms crossed. “if we want to get out of here, we need to execute now. the breakers are all the way on the other side of the building and who knows how many scavs are outside this door.”
it took five minutes for raven to come up with a plan to get out and that was through the breakers—the security and maintenance room, where everything was watched through cameras and where the switches to shut down all the power was. in order to leave, all the security monitors, locked doors, and ultimately the big gate at the front of the base that kept all of them in was all electrically ran and needed to be shut down.
so to get out, shit needed to be shut down.
bellamy finally breaks away from echo, turning his gaze to the other girl, “how do you expect to do that with the millions of doors that you all need a pin to, leading to that room?”
“it’s not hard,” a voice sounds from behind them all, causing them to turn. “if you break the panel and move one wire to another, the door opens just as easy as if you were to know the pin.”
they stare at him blankly in surprise as raven tries her best to conceal her smile, already anticipating this. the boy swallows nervously at the pressure of their uninviting stares suddenly on him, “it’s easy. a 10 year old could do it.”
bellamy narrows his look on him even more, “what’s your name?”
“monty. monty green,” he takes a step closer, almost expecting to shake his hand—but bellamy’s hostile stare made him rock back on his feet.
“and then after that, monty? the only people who had access to the breaker room were ones with a key card.”
“good thing i’m in charge then.”
they all turn back to echo who holds out a white and green plastic key card in all its glory.
“how the hell did you get a key card? sargent wouldn’t even clear you for a gun,” murphy narrows his gaze on her with confusion, slowly stepping forward.
“they don’t even hand those out to guards.”
“well, good thing i’m better than a guard,” she smirks, stuffing it in her back pocket. “now let’s go.”
**
the hallways were eerily empty.
echo had her mask pulled back up to the base of her face where only her dark eyes were the most distinguishable feature to the others. she scanned the little space that filled the area, leading the group down what seemed to be the hallway to their doom.
she didn’t like it one bit.
moments before she had knocked bellamy unconscious, she had watched the scavs from the watch tower take over every little home and minor building, burning them to the ground after ransacking each one. they would have no where else to be but the inside of this building—and yet, no one in sight.
“this doesn’t feel right.”
“what, you scared?”
murphy doesn’t reply.
“maybe they just all left.”
“that’s wishful thinking,” echo’s low voice sounds hollow as she leads them around a corner and toward the entrance where authorized staff only was printed largely on a sign nailed to the surface of the doors. she gripped her rifle tighter and tighter as seconds passed by with no sound, no movement, and no person was in sight.
bellamy followed from the back with his own gun that echo was reluctant about giving him until he reminded her he was their best shot.
the silence was a blessing. there were nights where bellamy longed for this type of stillness, for the break down of his up tight lifestyle. and now here it was, handed to him in his lap, yet something was off and this felt even worse compared to the norm.
“already, green, time to shine,” echo dropped her gun from position as well as pulling down the cloth that concealed her face. she glanced to bellamy, sharing a look of agreement that they were still in the clear. “get this door open and you’re golden.”
he nodded, dropping to his knees before the pin pad that was placed neatly next to the steel door. they watch him pop the cover off simply before once again pulling another layer that concealed the wiring to the door. he rips at the nest of colorful snakes before glancing at them all, smiling at their narrowed looks.
“i used to watch my dad do this all the time as a kid, wanted to be just like him. so while you all were sent to train and beat your bodies down, i was taught this,” he works as he speaks before finally pulling away and looking to the door. they follow his gaze but are met with disappointment when there’s no sign of acceptance to his fiddling.
monty makes a sound of confusion, a crease forming between his brow as he looks at the door, then the mangled key pad.
“i’m guessing that’s not supposed to happen.”
“what clued you on to that?”
“they must have changed their wiring in the past month, otherwise i don’t understand why this wouldn’t have worked,” he still stares at his work, disappointed.
“so… we can’t get in?” bellamy is losing patience.
“no, we can. it’ll just take me a lot longer.”
“how much longer?”
“say, 7 minutes.”
“christ,” bellamy pinches the bridge of his nose. “we don’t have that time.”
“we actually don’t know what time we do have… considering-“
“murphy, shut the fuck up. i’m not waiting that long, i’ll find another way.”
“bellamy, you can’t just-“
he’s right back around the corner and toward where they came from with no attempt to listen to their persistence. he was impatient and itching to get out of that building. if he didn’t find a way soon, he would lose his mind.
these hallways with florescent lights were the center of his nightmares. he found himself lost in what was an exact replica of it, wandering and desperate to get out. just like right now.
he grew up in these halls. every waking moment of his life were spent within these halls of the base. he hated it. he wished the scavs would have burned down this building first.
“don’t move.”
there was a nose of a gun suddenly practically pressed to bellamy’s own nose. he jerked back out of shock, neglecting to process who was on the other side of the rifle till he found himself pinned.
“who are you? why’re you here?”
bellamy’s eyes find theirs before anything else till the question is repeated again, “huh? who the fuck are you?”
a girl.
he finds himself slowly lower his arms upon realization, “who’re you?”
“your worst fuckin’ nightmare if you don’t give me a straight answer.”
he recognized this girl.
“relax, i’m just trying to get out of here.”
“hard thing to do when the gates won’t open.”
“you’re trying to get to the breakers,” he speaks his thoughts aloud.
her eyes narrow, “why would you know that?”
“because you’re not the only one trying to escape.”

One year after Praimfaya:
Grabbing your head, you slid down the wall to the floor, tears streaming down your face.
“Why won’t you just leave me alone?”
A hand reached for your knee, squeezing.
“Because I love you.”
You sniffled, shaking your head as you looked up.
“But you’re not here.”
Bellamy smiled, slightly tilting his head to the side.
“We promised, remember? Always by each other’s side.”
You shook your head, tears streaming down your face.
“I- bu- but yo-you broke it! You left me. You left me! You left me behind! Yo- you left me.”
He shook his head, tears welling in his eyes.
“I didn’t want to.”
You shook your head, lowering your head back onto your arms.
“YN, sweetheart, please, look at me.”
You sniffled, shaking your head. You tensed when he grabbed your arm, gently pulling at it, causing you to lift your head, looking over at him.
“If I could be here with you, I would. I would do anything, give anything, to be by your side. I never meant to leave you.
You sniffled, shaking your head.
“You hurt me.”
He shook his head, sighing softly.
I never meant to hurt you.”
“I- I’m going crazy. I- you have to stop.”
You shook your head, pushing yourself off the wall so you were standing, walking away from Bellamy.
“You’re not here. You’re in space. You’re so far away. I- I will always love you, Bellamy. But you- you need to stop. I- I can’t keep doing this.”
Bellamy stood up, walking towards you, wrapping his arms around your middle from behind, leaning his head down onto your shoulder.
“I’m still here because of you, sweetheart. Because I love you.”
You sighed, your shoulders slumping as you shook your head.
“Then you should leave because of me.”
You turned your head to the side, sighing when you didn’t see Bellamy, shaking your head as you fell to the floor, tears welling in your eyes.
“I love you too.”

One year and five months after Praimfaya:
“YN, listen to me. You’re a natblida. The clans will follow you.”
You shook your head, scoffing.
“Wonkru, you mean. There are no cans. We are all one clan. Wonkru.”
Gaia shook her head, sighing.
“Come on YN, even you don’t believe that.”
She reached out, placing her hand over yours, slightly squeezing.
“You can lead us, you should lead us. Be our commander.”
You shook your head as you stood, pulling your hand from hers.
“We tried that once, remember? A lifetime ago, and it didn’t work.”
Gaia sighed, shaking her head.
“Because we were facing our doom, and Roan had a way with words. You are a natblida, YN. If you ascend, the people will follow.”
“Octavia is my sister. I’m not going to turn my back on her, not now, not ever.”
“YN, the people are already fighting her.”
“Which is why we have the fights.”
You turned towards Gaia, shaking your head.
“You’re talking about a coupe. I won’t do it. And if I were you, I’d stop talking about it. Octavia is our queen. I will never turn my back on her. It’s time you stop trying to defy her.”
・☆: *.☽.* :☆・
Two years after Praimfaya:
“YN.”
You shook your head, cutting Maria off as she walked further into the room.
“Don’t. I’ve already heard it from Rex. I don’t need to hear it from you either.”
“I wasn’t going to mention it.”
“You were thinking about it.”
“I wasn’t.”
“Sure.”
“But, if I was thinking about it, I’d agree with Rex.” “Maria.” “Don’t Maria me, YN.”
Glancing over at Maria, you shot her a look that fell flat. “You said you weren’t gonna mention it.” “Yeah well, you kept going.”
“I take it back.”
Maria grinned, shaking her head.
“Too late.”
・☆: *.☽.* :☆・
There was a knock, causing you to sigh as you got up, walking towards the door and opening it. You scoffed when you saw who it was, slamming the door shut. You turned, walking back into your room, clenching your jaw when you heard the door opening and closing.
“So help me Gaia-”
“I just want to talk YN”
You shook your head as you sat down on your bed, leaning back against the wall.
“No, you want to try to get me to become the commander. It’s the same conversation with you. All we do is talk in circles, and I’m tired of it. How many times do we have to have this same talk?
Gaia shook her head, slightly grinning.
“Until you agree.”
“Gaia-”
Gaia cut you off, taking a step forward.
“YN please. I promise, when you become the commander, everyone will follow you. They did it before, remember? When she refused to lead, you stepped up. For those two months, we all lived in peace. That was under your rule, not hers. Wanhei is our commander”
You shook your head as you crossed your arms over your chest, glaring at Gaia where she stood.
“No. I can’t. I won’t. There is too much at stake. I have people to take care of, a family.”
“You’re not the only one here with a family, YN. And you wouldn’t be alone in the fight. You have people who would stand with you.”
“Just like she does. Or did you forget that the majority of the guard is with her? And why does it have to be me? Literally anyone can start a rebellion. It doesn’t have to be me.”
“No, it can’t. You are Wanhei. Legendary Wanhei. You hold more power than you could possibly know.”
You tilted your head to the side, looking over at Gaia, slightly glaring at her.
“What would your mother have to say about this, hmm? If she learned that you are here, talking to me about treason. What then? Even she couldn’t stop Octavia from putting you in the pits.”
“She would understand. Even she knows that what Octavia is doing is wrong.”
“Yet she hasn’t stopped her.”
“Because she would be killed.”
You scoffed, shaking your head.
“And I wouldn’t? There is too-”
Gaia lifted her hand, cutting you off.
“Whether you like it or not, you are the only one who can stop this.”
You watched Gaia as she turned, walking towards the door, you called out to her when she opened the door, causing her to stop and turn back towards you.
“I’d appreciate it if you’d stop talking to Rex and the others. I’ve made my decision. And nothing will change it.”
・☆: *.☽.* :☆・
Two years and four months after Praimfaya:
“Tensions are rising. They’re taking sides, drawing the battle lines.”
“Stop them.”
You shook your head, sighing.
“I’m not fighting a war.”
“Whether you like it or not, you are.”
You turned, looking over at Maria.
“Please, Maria, can’t you just listen to what I’m saying? I don’t want to fight her. I don’t want there to be another war. I don’t want to fight. All we’ve done since we landed is fight. And I’m tired of it.”
Maria sighed, walking towards you, reaching out and taking your hand in hers.
“I know you are, and you deserve the chance to be able to live in peace, truly. But I’m sorry. The only way to achieve that peace you want, is to fight. One last fight. One last war.”
You took a deep breath, mulling it over before you looked over at Maria, sighing.
“One last war.”
She nodded, leaning forward and pressing her forehead to yours.
“One last war.”
・☆: *.☽.* :☆・
Two years and eight months after Praimfaya:
“Surrender. Surrender and this can all end, today.”
Shaking your head, you winced as Octavia’s sword cut into your chest.
“Never.”
Octavia opened her mouth to say something when there was a yell, both of you turning. Your eyes widened as Octavia moved her sword away from you, swinging it out towards Maria.
“No!” You moved, tackling Octavia and kicking her sword away as you straddled her, grabbing her arms and holding her down.
“Maria?”
Your chest heaved as you turned, looking over at Maria where she laid.
“Maria!”
She groaned, causing you to panic more as you turned back towards Octavia, her eyes widening as you lifted your hand, punching her in the jaw. You scrambled away from her, falling to your knees next to Maria, your hands hovering over her as you looked her over, muttering.
“What did you do? What did you do?!”
Maria looked up at you, tears welling in her eyes.
“I’m sorry.”
You shook your head as you placed your hands on her stomach, applying pressure.
“Stop. You need to save your strength.”
“I’m sorry I’m doing this.”
You huffed, looking around for something to use to stop the blood as you shook your head.
“Doing what?”
“Dying.”
You tensed, looking down at her, clenching your jaw.
“You are not dying.”
You turned, screaming for help, seeing Octavia moving out the corner of your eye. You kept talking to Maria as the footsteps grew louder, Delania and Rex appearing next to you as Jackson kneeled across from you.
“What happened?”
One of Jackson’s students appeared next to him, moving your hands out of the way as he pressed gauze onto Maria’s wound.
You leaned back onto your legs, tears welling in your eyes as you shook your head.
“She- she took the hit for me.”
Jackson’s face fell slightly as he nodded, more people arriving. You helped them pick Maria up, placing her on the gurney. You held Maria’s hand, tears clouding your vision as you all rushed to medical.
“YN.”
You looked down at Maria, shaking your head.
“No. I’m not going to li-”
She grabbed your wrist, shaking her head, causing her to wince.
“Please. Take care of Raelyn.”
Jackson looked over at you, shaking his head.
“We have to put her under now, if we want to save her.”
Maria tightened her grip on you, slightly shaking her head as she started to shake.
“Please ai niron. Promise me.” (my love)
“I promise.”
You leaned down, pressing your lips to hers, tasting blood.
“But you’re not dying today.”
She started to seize, blood falling from her mouth as Jackson yelled at you to leave. Tears were streaming down your face as Delani and Rex pulled you out of medical. You shoved them away from you, rushing towards the trash can, heaving. You leaned against the wall, bent over at your knees as you took deep breaths.
“Where is she?”
You shook your head, looking over Delani.
“Where. Is. She.”
“Still in C-block I believe.”
You nodded, standing up and making your way down the hall, Delani and Rex following after you.
“YN, YN wait!”
Rex grabbed your arm, forcing you to turn back towards him, causing you to glare at him.
“If she’s still there, and that’s a big if, Miller and the rest of the guard will also be there. You’d be walking into a death trap.”
“I don’t care.”
“If you go there, she will kill you. And then what? All of this would have been for nothing.”
You pulled your arm from Rex’s grasp, glaring at him.
“I. Don’t. Care.”
Delani stepped forward, placing his hand on Rex’s shoulder, causing Rex to look over at him.
“Let her go.”
“Delani-”
Rex was cut off when Jackson appeared, walking towards the three of you.
“Jackson?”
Jackson looked over at you, slowly shaking his head.
“YN, I- I’m so sorry.”
You took a step back, shaking your head.
“But Maria, she- she lost too much blood. She coded after her seizure, and we couldn’t bring her back.”
Tears welled in your eyes as you walked towards Jackson, stopping in front of him, shaking your head.
“Yo- you have to say it. You have to say it, Jackson.”
Jackson took a deep breath as he reached out, placing his hand on your forearm.
“Maria died. She’s dead.”
A broken scream escaped you as you fell to the floor, tears streaming down your face. Delani knelt next to you, grabbing you and pulling you into his chest as you screamed and sobbed, your screams heard all throughout the bunker. You stayed there for hours, Delani staying next to you while Rex and Antara stood guard at one end of the hall, Fara and Norix standing guard at the other end of the hall.
“Rae- Raelyn.”
“We’ll get her.”
You shook your head, leaning back so you could look at Delani.
“No. It- she needs to hear it from me. It should be me.”
Delani sighed, nodding.
“Alright, but perhaps we can clean up first, yeah?”
You looked down at your clothes, seeing the blood stained on them. Maria’s blood. You nodded, looking over at Delani.
“Raelyn should be with the other kids so the room should be empty.”
Delani nodded, placing his hand under your chin, gently forcing you to look up so you weren’t staring at the blood anymore.
“We’ll send Fara, just to be safe.”
“She can’t tell Raelyn if she’s there.”
“She won’t. I promise. But just to be sure, I’ll let her know not to say anything.”
You nodded, watching Delani as he stood, walking down the hall to Fara, the two talking before Fara left, Delani returning to your side.

Three years and six months after Praimfaya:
“This is wrong YN.”
You scoffed, shaking your head as you pulled your cloak on, glancing at the spot where he stood.
“You’re not really here Bellamy. You don’t get an opinion in the matter, or a say in it.”
“Except I will be here, in a year, I’ll be here. I’ll have a say then.”
You huffed, turning on your heel, walking to the door.
“That sounds like a then me problem.”
Bellamy fluttered away when you walked through him, slamming your door shut behind you.
I wouldn’t want this YN. You know I wouldn’t.
You shook your head, scoffing as you walked down the hall.
“It doesn’t matter what you want. Not anymore.”
・☆: *.☽.* :☆・
Four years after Praimfaya:
“Momma!”
You turned, smiling as Raelyn ran to you, falling to your knees, letting her wrap her arms around your neck as you leaned down.
“Ai strik skaifaya.” (my little star)
You leaned back, pushing a loose strand of hair behind her ear, you hand lingering on her cheek.
“Did you have fun with your ani?” (aunt)
She nodded, her face breaking out into a big smile as you stood, picking her up, holding her on your hip.
“Yes! She showed me the pits and we spared with the sticks!”
You made a face, tilting your head to the side, seeing Delani walking towards you both.
“She showed you the pits?”
Raelyn nodded as Delani shot you a look, causing you to shrug in response as he sat down at the table.
“Yeah! It was a lot of fun!”
You shook your head, looking over at her, grinning.
“Guess what my little skaifaya?”
“What?”
“Delani has a surprise he wants to show you. Just for you.”
She jumped, squirming in your arms as she turned towards Delani, making grabby hands at him. He laughed, getting up and taking Raelyn from you, Raelyn wrapping her arms around his neck. He tickled her sides, causing her to laugh, a smile growing on your face as you watched the two.
“Are you ready to go see your surprise, strik won?” (little one)
Raelyn nodded, laughing as she clapped her hands.
“Yes! Yes! Please!”
Delani laughed, nodding towards you.
“Give your momma a hug and a kiss and we’ll go.”
Raelyn nodded, trying to get out of Delani’s arms, Delani laughing as he put her on the floor, Raelyn running to you. You knelt down, wrapping your arms around Raelyn as she pressed a sloppy kiss to your cheek.
“Love you momma!”
You smiled, kissing her forehead.
“I love you to, little skaifaya. Be good for your uni, okay?” (uncle)
She nodded, jumping up and down.
“I will. Promise!”
You laughed as she ran back towards Delani, Delani picking her up, handing her to one of the guards, promising her it was a part of her surprise when she deflated. Once Raelyn was out of the room, he turned towards you, tilting his head to the side as you stood.
“She showed Raelyn the pits?”
You nodded, clenching your jaw.
"Of course, she did. Blodreina can do no wrong.”
Delani shook his head, shooting you a look.
“What are you going to do?”
You turned towards Delani, shaking your head.
“She may be Blodreina, but Raelyn is my child. And I specifically told her that I didn’t want Raelyn anywhere near the pits. Nor do I want her learning how to fight. She’s still a kid.
“Delani nodded, crossing his arms over his chest.
“I know, but she’s only doing what she’s being. All of us grew up learning how to fight.”
You huffed, throwing your hands up, glaring at Delani.
“She just turned four! She’s still too young to be holding a sword, let alone seeing the pits!”
Delani placed his hand on your arm, shaking his head.
“YN, don’t do anything you’ll regret. Raelyn already lost her mother, she doesn’t- she can’t lose you too.”
You shook your head, walking towards the door.
“She won’t.”
・☆: *.☽.* :☆・
You glared at the guards who were blocking the entrance, stopping you from entering.
“Ban we au gon ai wonwe.” (move out of my way)
They didn’t move, causing you to huff as you crossed your arms over your chest.
“Nau.” (now)
“Teik emon gouthru klir.” (let her pass)
They moved their spears back to their sides, stepping to the side. You huffed, nodding as you walked into the room, glaring at Octavia. She was sitting in her throne, watching you as you walked towards her, fiddling with her knife.
“Are you out of your mind? You took Raelyn to the pits?”
Gaia shared a look with Indra as you stepped closer to Octavia, glaring at her.
“After I told you I didn’t want her anywhere near them?!”
“YN, maybe you should-”
You glanced at Indra, shaking your head.
“No.”
You turned back towards Octavia, glaring at her.
“You showed her the pits and then you sparred with her? Are you insane?!”
“Every child must learn to fight.”
You shook your head, pointing a finger at her as she twirled her knife against the armrest of the throne.
“No! Not every child! They have a choice.”
She lifted her head, tilting her head to the side as she looked you over.
“Except Raelyn. You took that choice from her.”
“She just turned four! I told you, I do not want her to learn how to fight until she makes the choice for herself!”
She shrugged, returning her attention to her knife.
“She asked me.”
You scoffed, shaking your head.
“No, the mighty Blodreina mentioned it. Raelyn has never expressed an interest in fighting.”
You stepped closer to her, yanking the knife from her grasp, causing her to look up at you, glaring at you as you threw her knife to the floor, placing your hands on the armrests of her throne, leaning down towards her.
“Raelyn is not to go near the pits again and you are not to spare with her.”
Octavia scoffed, shaking her head as she clenched her jaw.
“I believe Wanhei has forgotten her place. She is not in charge her. I am.”
She stood up, causing you to take a step back.
“Wanhei ste ded. Teik emon kom emon baggeda. Bokn ai nomon ste dednes. Kep emon der.” (wanhei is tired. take her to her room. being a mother is exhausting. keep her there)
The guards standing beside her nodded, moving towards you and reaching for your arms. You scoffed, pulling your arms back, glaring up at them.
“Nou toch op emon.” (don’t touch me)
You turned, walking towards the door before you stopped, turning back around, matching Octavia’s glare.
“Blodreina is not allowed near my daughter again. When I see my sister instead of Blodreina, then you can see her.”
The guards pushed your forward, causing you to huff as they escorted you to your room.
・☆: *.☽.* :☆・
You jumped up when the alarms sounded, running to your door and opening it. The guards Octavia had bring you to your room once again blocked your path, causing you to glare up at them.
“Ashon!” (move)
They shook their heads, barely sparing you a glance.
“Kom nau!” (now)
“Osir don hedon.” (we have orders)
“My daughter is out there! Now move, or I will make you.”
They glanced at each other before they stepped to the side, causing you to nod.
“Smart choice.”
You ran down the hall, pushing your way through the people who were running to their rooms.
“Delani! Delani!”
You ran into his room, your eyes widening when you didn’t see him or Raelyn. You turned, running back out of the room.
“Wanhei! Wanhei!”
You turned, watching as Rex ran towards you, his chest heaving.
“They took them!”
You made a face, tilting your head to the side.
“Who took who?”
“Blodreina. Sh- she took Delani and Raelyn.”
Your eyes widened as you turned, running to the pits. Octavia’s guards lined the fencing of the pits and the walls, each of them watching you as you ran to the front. You gasped, coming to a stop as your eyes landed on them. Octavia stood over Raelyn, a bloodied sword in her hands.
“No!”
You ran forward, falling to your knees beside Raelyn, picking her up as tears welled in your eyes.
“Raelyn?”
You pushed her hair back out of her face, your eyes widening when you saw the streak of blood they left behind on her forehead. You looked her over, seeing the growing spot of blood on her front.
“No.”
You shook your head, sniffling.
“No, no. Raelyn, Raelyn sweetie, wake up.”
She didn’t move, causing you to shake your head as you reached up, wiping your tears.
“Ai strik skaifaya, beja.” (my little star, please)
You hesitated as you reached down to her neck, checking her pulse.
“Please little star.”
You leaned down, placing your forehead against hers when you felt no pulse, sobbing.
“Strik skaifaya!” (little star)
You sniffled, taking deep breaths as you leaned back, looking over at Octavia, your eyes landing on her sword that dripped blood.
“You did this.”
You shook your head, gently lowering Raelyn to the floor before you stood, stalking towards Octavia.
“You did this!”
You slammed into her, pushing her to the floor. You punched her, tears streaming down your face.
“You did this! You did this!”
You continued to hit her until someone grabbed you, yanking you off her.
“Let me go! Let me go!”
They tightened their grip on you as they pulled you away from Octavia, someone helping her stand. She looked at you as she wiped the blood from her lip, slightly shaking her head as you tried to pull yourself free.
“Let me go!”
She nodded at the person who was holding you, causing them to let you go. You sniffled, turning back towards Raelyn. You knelt beside her, reaching out and hesitantly closing her eyes before you picked her up, ignoring the way her head rolled to the side, hitting your chest as you walked out of the pits.
“YN, you kno-”
You shook your head, glaring.
“No.”
No one stopped you as you walked out of the pits. Everyone starting to come out of their rooms now that the alarms had stopped, stopping when they saw you. No one stopped you, but you could hear their whispers and murmurs as you passed them.
“YN?”
You looked up, seeing Delani come out of a room, holding his side, his hand bloodied. He went to say something when his eyes widened, looking up at you as tears welled in his eyes, shaking his head. “No.”
You said nothing as you walked past him, hearing him follow behind you.
・☆: *.☽.* :☆・
Five years after Praimfaya:
There were whispers, of the shadow who stalked the bunker. Wonkru refused to call you by your new name, Trikdaun, instead choosing to call you Kriptrikova, the demon shadow. Blodreina called for your head, the elites patrolling the halls, searching for you. It’d been a year since you went into hiding, keeping to the shadows, away from prying eyes. Bellamy and the others were meant to return yesterday, but there was nothing. No sign of any attempts to open the bunker from the outside. No radio calls were made, the same static sound the only thing received. Time was given, the slither of hope that’d been lost years ago had returned, but twenty-four hours later, and that hope was once again squandered. It’d settled in, the reality that this was life now, and there was no chance of ever leaving the bunker. It also brought a sense of dread, because while the visions you’d have of Bellamy had slowed, they were no longer a prominent fixture like they were the first two years. But you’d been seeing again, since the announcement came over the speakers that the bunker was going to be our new reality, you started to see him again. He never said anything, and all it did was confirm what you’d known for some time, Bellamy was dead. It was real now, with them not returning, it solidified that they were dead. And now there was nothing stopping you.
・☆: *.☽.* :☆・
“Gaia.”
She jumped, her eyes wide as she turned towards you.
“YN?”
You stepped out of the shadows, pulling the hood of your cloak down.
“You told me once that Wanhei is our commander. That the people would follow.”
Gaia took a deep breath, nodding.
“I did.”
“So then do it. Make me the commander.”
Gaia’s eyes widened as she gasped softly, slightly shaking her head.
“YN-”
“No. Wanhei is the commander and the people will follow. Make me the commander Gaia, or I’ll find someone who will.”
Gaia stepped forward, shaking her head.
“No, no. I’ll do it, but YN, are you sure?”
“I’m here, aren’t I?”
“No, I mean, are you sure that you should do this now? Yo- you’re grieving. I’m not sure-”
“Do you want to spend the rest of our lives under Blodreina’s rule? How many more people have to die before she’s stopped?”
“YN, I just want you to be sure. It’s could be dangerous-”
“That wasn’t a problem before. You weren’t worried about it being dangerous when you would come to my room every week and beg me to do it. Nor were you worried about it when you’d go behind my back and talk to the others. You’re not worried that it’s dangerous. You’re worried that I’ll be like Sheidheda. I promise you, I won’t. Yeah, I’m angry. And yeah, I want her dead. But this isn’t about me. This is about those we’ve lost, and those still living. It’s about who we are. Things need to change. Or we’re all going to die as monsters.”
Gaia took a deep breath as she turned, walking away from you.
“Gaia-”
She moved some things around before she turned, walking back towards you and opening her hand, showing the flame.
“Let’s get started.”
・☆: *.☽.* :☆・
Five years and four months after Praimfaya:
“This end’s today!”
Everyone cheered, lifting their weapons.
“Nou Blodreina nowe!” (blodreina no more)
“Nou Blodreina nowe! Nou Blodreina nowe!”
The cheering turned to screams as a flash bomb went off, smoke grenades being thrown not long after.
“Nyxheda! Nyxheda this way!”
Delani grabbed your arm, pulling you away as you covered your face with your other arm. It was hard to see through the smoke, people slamming into you as they tried to get away. Delani pulled you out into the hallway as the alarm sounded, the lights turning red when the first gunshot sounded, causing you to stop, pulling your arm from Delani.
“Nyxheda, no!”
You turned back towards Delani, shaking your head.
“Those are my people! I will not stand by while they’re being slaughtered!”
You turned to run back when Delani grabbed you, holding you down. You managed to wiggle free, reaching back and punching Delani in the face, causing him to let you go. You ran back in, trying to help those you could, get out. When the smoke cleared, you gasped, your eyes widening. Bodies laid on the floor, blood practically covering the entire floor.
“Oh god.”
Tears welled in your eyes as you looked around, slightly shaking your head.
“Nyxheda?”
You turned, seeing Delani and Gaia slowly walk in, looking around, their eyes widening.
“Blodreina did this. She has to pay.”
“YN, the flame can’t be telling you t-”
“It is! They are all screaming for vengeance. Including Lexa. So don’t try to tell me that this is wrong or try and talk me out of it. Because I’m done. One way or the other, this ends, today.”
You turned, walking out, your hand on the hilt of your sword. The voices from the flame were growing louder, overlapping as you walked down the hall. You turned, letting out a scream as you slammed your fist into the wall. You leaned back against the wall, sliding down to the floor, drawing your knees up to your chest, resting your arms on top of your legs, looking your hand over. Your hand was bleeding, the black blood spreading as you tried to wipe it so you could see the damage but all you were really doing was making a bigger mess. The blood spread, covering the top of your hand. You opened and closed your hand, testing the pain when you realized, the flame had stopped talking.
・☆: *.☽.* :☆・
It was quiet, too quiet. The lights still flashed red, but the alarms had stopped and now everything was quiet.
“Nyxheda.”
You turned your head, looking up, seeing Delani and Gaia, Rex walking out from behind them. He moved to kneel next to you, nodding towards your hand.
“We should clean that up, yeah?”
You said nothing as you gave Rex your hand, watching as he started to clean the blood away.
“We- there’s twenty-eight dead. A couple are injured, but so far, they don’t look life threatening. Norix, he was- he didn’t make it.”
You clenched your jaw as Rex wrapped your knuckles, Gaia stepping forward, moving to kneel in front of you.
“Blodreina and her guards are waiting, they’re at the border.”
Once Rex was done you clenched and unclenched your hand, nodding as you stood.
“Then it’s time we go to war.”
Rex stood, shooting you a look.
“Wait. Are you hurt anywhere else?”
You clenched your jaw, shaking your head.
“No.”
“YN, you went back where they were openly shooting. Are you sure that you weren’t hit?”
You huffed, nodding.
“I’m sure.”
・☆: *.☽.* :☆・
She was waiting, just like Gaia said. Standing in the middle of her people, waiting. You stopped in front of her, the line separating Wonkru and Dokwokru between you both. She looked you over before she glanced at your people, the group of them standing on either side of you and behind you.
“You’re still alive.”
“Shocker, I know. But you did kill others, good people.”
She clenched her jaw, looking over at those next to you.
“You all have a choice, one I’ve offered you before. Join Wonkru, and live.”
Her people stood taller, yelling as one.
“You are Wonkru or you are the enemy of Wonkru!”
She smirked, nodding slightly.
“You are Wonkru or you are the enemy of Wonkru. You still have a chance to live.”
She looked over at you, slightly shaking her head.
“It doesn’t have to be like this.”
You clenched your jaw, tightening your grip on the hilt of your sword.
“Yes, it did.”
You charged forward, lifting your sword and bringing it down towards her, everyone else starting to fight.
・☆: *.☽.* :☆・
It was chaos. Everyone was fighting each other, and between the fights were those trying to help the injured. Somehow you’d found your way into the arena, just you and her. Your hand burned while the flame yelled at you to finish it, finish her. She’d lifted her pistol, aiming it at you but you hit her hand, causing her to miss, the gunshot ringing in your ears as you kicked the pistol away from her. You punched her in the face, her head snapping to the side from the force of it while you kicked her legs out, causing her to fall to the floor. You climbed on top of her, placing the tip of your knife at her throat, your grip on the hilt of it tightening as you leaned down towards her, looking down at her.
“The twin.” You smirked slightly as you turned, looking over at Octavia. “The girl under the floor.” She grinned, nodding. “We’re going to get along just fine.”
“You both act like a married couple.” Octavia looked between you both, her eyes slowly widening. “Oh my god, you’re together! This is the best thing ever.”
“Thank you.” Octavia grinned, shrugging. “Well, you are my future sister-in-law.”
“Promise me, you won’t put my name on the list but Bellamy will be on there. Him and Octavia both.” Clarke took a deep breath, nodding as she leaned forward, grabbing your hand. “I promise.”
“She can’t die Clarke, please.” Clarke squeezed your hand, offering you a small smile as Octavia was taken to medical. “She won’t. I promise.”
“It’s my decision YN. I know what the odds are. And if I fall, at least Bellamy’ll have you.” You sighed, nodding as you wrapped your arms around her. Octavia hesitated before she returned the hug, sighing. “Make sure you kick their asses.” “I will.”
“For five years? We’ll make it our bitch.” Octavia snorted a laugh, shaking her head. “Thank you.” “For what?" “For being here.”
“No. She needs to do this herself.” You scoffed, shaking your head as you grabbed your knife. “Wanhei and Oeslaya together.”
“It’s okay, YN. Bellamy would want you to be happy.” “It just, it feels wrong.” Octavia shook her head, kneeling in front of you and grabbing your hand. “YN, you deserve to be happy. So, if she makes you happy, then be with her. It’s okay.”
“Octavia, this is Raelyn. She’s Maria’s daughter.” You glanced over at Maria, seeing her nod, offering you a small smile. “And mine.” Octavia smiled, reaching her hand out towards Raelyn. “Hi sweetheart.” Raelyn made a face at Octavia’s hand, causing you to grin as you bounced her in your arms. “It’s okay, this is your aunt, your ani.” Octavia looked up at you, tears welling in her eyes. “Really?” You nodded, smiling. “Of course Octavia, you’re my sister. You’re family.”
Your grip on your knife loosened as you leaned up, the flame growing louder, the voices of the previous commanders overlapping over each other.
“No.”
You moved the knife away from her neck, shaking your head.
“No. No, this isn’t- I won’t. Too many lives have been lost. I won’t add my sister to the list.”
Octavia leaned up slightly, clenching her jaw.
“But I will.”
She grabbed your hand holding the knife, a sickening crack sounding as she twisted your hand, plunging the knife in your chest. You gasped a choked cough, blood spilling from your mouth. You slowly lowered your head, looking down at the knife. Octavia jerked the knife up as your hand let the knife go, the force of it causing you to fall back, Octavia moving to lean over you.
“Yu gonplei ste odon Nyxheda.” (your fight is over)
You gasped as she plunged the knife deeper, coughing up more blood. With a harsh yank she pulled the knife out, blood pouring from the wound. She stood, dropping the knife as you started to choke on your own blood, walking around the arena. You slowly turned your head, your vision becoming blurry as you watched her pick something up. She turned, walking back towards you, cocking her gun. She stood over you, aiming at your head.
“The war is over.”
You closed your eyes when the gunshot sounded, expecting to feel nothing. But you could still feel the pain in your chest. Peeking your eyes open, you saw Octavia running away as more gunshots sounded. Slowly turning your head, you blearily made out Delani leading the others as Gaia kneeled next to you.
“Nyxheda.”
Coughing, you turned to look at her, shaking your head.
“Ga- Gaia.”
You lifted your hand, noticing the shake as Gaia took it in hers.
“You’re gonna be okay. We did it. Wonkru’s forces are no more. Those still standing surrendered. Blodreina is on the run.”
You smiled, coughing as you nodded.
“We did it.”
She nodded, smiling down at you.
“We did it. You did it.”
“I- I did it.”
“Gaia!”
You watched as she turned, yelling.
“Here!”
“Oh my god.”
You looked over, seeing Jackson kneeling next to you. You grinned, coughing.
“Hey Doc. Do- Don’t think you can get m-me out of this one this time.”
He shook his head, cutting your blood-soaked shirt and peeling it away.
“Don’t underestimate me. I’ve gotten you out of some pretty bad situations before.”
You laughed, gasping as you coughed, Jackson shooting you a look.
“Stop laughing. And stop talking.”
“Aye aye, Doc.”
You turned your head to the side, letting Jackson work, sighing softly.
“Maria.”
Maria smiled, tears welling in your eyes when Raelyn ran out from behind her.
“Strik skaifaya.” (little star)
The tears started to fall as they walked towards you, Maria kneeling next to you, Raelyn sitting beside her.
“You’re here.”
Maria smiled as she nodded, reaching out and cupping your cheek.
“Always, ai niron.” (my love)
Gaia shook her head, slightly tapping her hand against your cheek.
“Keep your eyes open, YN.”
“You- the flame. When I die-”
She shook her head, squeezing your hand.
“You are not dying.”
“When I die, you have to- to take the flame.”
“YN-”
“Pro- promise me.”
Gaia sighed, nodding.
“I promise.”
“YN.”
You gasped, your eyes widening slightly as you smiled.
“Bellamy.”
He smiled as he kneeled next to you, pushing your hair back out of your face.
“I’ve missed you. So much.”
“Not like me.”
He laughed, nodding.
“Fair.”
“Open your eyes YN!”
You gasped, your eyes opening. Jackson leaned over you, pushing your hair back out of your face.
“We almost lost you there for a second. I know you’re stubborn, but at least work with me and not against me.”
You huffed, nodding.
“I’m going to put you under, here. I can’t risk moving you so, we’re going to do the surgery here.”
You nodded, muttering a soft “okay” as Jackson disappeared from your view.
“YN.”
You turned, gasping.
“Lexa.”
Gaia’s eyes widened, looking down at you. Your eyes were closed, a soft smile on your face as you muttered.
“Lexa.”
Gaia held her hand out when Jackson went to put you under, shaking her head.
“No.”
“Gaia if I don’t-”
“It won’t matter. It’s too late.”
Lexa kneeled next to you, smiling.
“You’ve done well strik gona. You’ve fought well.” (little warrior)
“I’m tired.”
She nodded, grabbing your hand, gently squeezing.
“I know. And it’s okay. You can rest now.”
Delani was kneeling next to Gaia, tears in his eyes as he squeezed your hand.
“You can rest now YN. We’ll be okay.”
They watched you take a shaky, broken breath, your eyes slowly falling shut. Delani gasped a broken sob as your hand fell limp in his. He turned towards Rex, Fara and Antara glaring.
“Find Blodreina.”
They nodded, leaving the arena where Octavia had run out. Someone had come up behind Delani, handing him your cloak. Delani placed it over you, tears streaming down his face, blurring his vision.
“Nyxheda has fallen.”
・☆: *.☽.* :☆・
Eight Months Later: (six years after praimfaya)
He’d looked everywhere, but he couldn’t find her anywhere, causing him to panic. He found Indra once he was back above ground, making his way to her.
“Indra.”
She turned, looking up at him.
“Bellamy.”
“Indra, where is Octavia? Where’s my sister?”
Indra shook her head, sighing softly.
“A lot has happened, Bellamy. Things are different now.”
“Where is she?”
“Indra.”
Indra turned, nodding slightly.
“Bellamy, this is Delani.”
Delani turned, looking Bellamy over, slightly glaring at him.
“He’s one of the four in charge. He can answer whatever questions you have.”
Bellamy nodded, looking up at Delani.
“Where’s my sister?”
Delani huffed, looking back down at Indra.
“Rex, Antara and Fara are waiting for you.”
Indra nodded, walking off, Bellamy crossing his arms over his chest as he glared up at Delani.
“Well?”
Delani clenched his jaw, looking over at Bellamy.
“She’s alive.”
“Where is she?”
“There are some things you need to know first.”
Delani turned, walking off. He huffed as he came to a stop, looking over his shoulder.
“Are you coming or not?”
Bellamy clenched his jaw as he nodded, muttering as he followed after him.
“Yeah, I’m coming.”
・☆: *.☽.* :☆・
Tears welled in Bellamy’s eyes as he looked down at the journal, shaking his head.
“She’s alive. Sh- she made it.”
Delani hummed softly, watching as Bellamy slowly flipped through the journal.
“There were six of us. We brought her back. And we protected her. When she woke up and was stable, she started to write. I have them all.”
Bellamy slightly made a face, tilting his head to the side as he looked over at Delani.
“You do? Why?”
“She stopped writing for a time, but then she picked it back up.”
“Why do you have her journals?”
Bellamy shook his head, huffing.
“Why are you the one telling me all of this? Where is she? Where is YN?”
・☆: *.☽.* :☆・
Bellamy followed behind Delani, making a face as he eyed the two men who stood next to the door.
“Where are we going?”
Delani didn’t answer him as he opened the door, nodding as motioned for Bellamy to go first. Bellamy shot him a look as he walked by him, his eyes widening as he walked in, Delani closing the door as he entered.
“What is-”
“You wanted to know where she is. This is where she is.”
Bellamy made a face, shaking his head.
“I don’t-”
“YN was killed eight months ago. By your sister.”
Bellamy’s mouth fell open as he turned, looking over at Delani.
“What?”
“Octavia became a tyrant. She was Blodreina. She killed YN’s girlfriend. And then she killed her daughter. So, YN became Nyxheda.”
“Nyxheda?”
“Shadow Commander.”
Delani walked towards the table, picking something up, turning towards Bellamy, lifting his hand, showing the flame.
“This is YN. She was our Commander. She led us here, to today.”
“What happened?”
“There was a war. It started at the border, but it ended in the arena. YN- the flame was angry. Octavia was supposed to protect us, but instead she killed us. And they were angry. YN was fueled by her own vengeance, the loss of you, and the vengeance of the flame.”
“Loss of me?”
“On the five-year mark, when there was no sign that you were coming, that was the day she became the Commander."
Bellamy stopped breathing, shaking his head. If only they could've made radio contact, then maybe, just maybe everything could've been avoided and YN would still be here.
"And when it came down to it, she chose to let Octavia live. She couldn’t do it. Octavia was her family, her sister. She’d always said that she could never turn on Octavia, could never hurt her, no matter how many times we pleaded with her to become the Commander, she would always say no. She chose to let Octavia live, and Octavia chose to kill her. I wasn’t with her, not until the end, but Gaia was with her. Her and Jackson. Gaia said that YN saw you. She saw you, Maria, Raelyn. She even saw Lexa. After- after we’d captured Octavia, and we’d helped the wounded, this place was built.”
Delani turned, placing the flame back on the small stand on the table.
“A sanctuary built to honor those we’ve lost, and honor the one who saved us. I have her journals because YN trusted me to have them.”
He grabbed the remaining journals, handing them to Bellamy.
“But I believe she would’ve wanted you to have them.”
Bellamy reached for the journals, tears falling down his face as he looked down at them.
“You haunted her.”
Bellamy sniffled, making a face as he looked over at Delani, whispering.
“What?”
“She saw you everywhere. She told me the first time she saw you was when she was out there, trying to get to the island. But she said she was delirious and in pain, so she didn’t think anything of it. Not until it happened when she was in the bunker. She always said she couldn’t hurt Octavia, but really, I think the main reason why she couldn’t was because of you. Because she still loved you. The journals can tell you more. They will tell you more. She was more honest with them than with me.”
Delani sighed softly, nodding.
“Octavia is in the cells. YN refused to kill her, and no matter my feelings, I will honor her wishes. I always will. So, Octavia lives. If you want, I can take you to her.”
Bellamy nodded, taking a deep breath as he looked over at Delani.
“Take me to her.”
・☆: *.☽.* :☆・
Bellamy’s head was racing as he stood in front of the door, taking a few deep breaths before he reached out, opening the door. She was sitting on the bench, looking down at the floor. She slowly looked up, her eyes widening as she gasped.
“Bellamy.”
She jumped up, running towards him, wrapping her arms around him. She stepped back when he didn’t return the hug, nodding slightly.
“You know.”
She walked back to the bench, sitting down and leaning back against the wall, crossing her arms over her chest.
“Well, go on, get it out. Say it.”
Bellamy scoffed softly, shaking his head.
“I- ho- how could you?”
“She deserved to die. You are Wonkru or you are the enemy of Wonkru. And she was my enemy.”
Bellamy shook his head, laughing harshly.
“Do you hear yourself? YN was your friend. She considered you to be her sister!”
Octavia clenched her jaw, tilting her head to the side.
“You think I don’t know that? That I don’t know what she did for me? What she lost? I told her to be with Maria. I was Raelyn’s ani.”
“Then why did you do it?”
Octavia looked away from Bellamy, scoffing.
“She deserved it.”
Bellamy shook his head, huffing.
“No, she didn’t. Look at me.”
Octavia shook her head, causing Bellamy to take a step forward, growling.
“Look at me.”
She turned, looking back at him, clenching her jaw.
“You are my sister, but you are not my responsibility.”
Bellamy turned, banging on the door. Once it opened, he walked out, not sparing Octavia a glance. Once the door shut behind him, she leaned her head back, tears welling in her eyes.
・☆: *.☽.* :☆・
Bonus:
Gaia was checking the back of Madi’s neck, Delani helping her while Clarke checked on Madi, making sure she was okay. Bellamy stood at the door frame; his arms crossed over his chest as he watched them all work.
“Madi?”
Clarke shot a worried look at Gaia, Gaia walking around the bed so she was in front of Madi, kneeling next to Clarke.
“Madi, how are you feeling?”
“Ani.”
Clarke made a face, tilting her head to the side.
“Ani?”
Gaia looked over at Clarke, translating.
“Aunt.”
Gaia’s eyes widened as she leaned forward, looking up at Madi.
“Aunt. You’re talking about YN.”
Bellamy’s heart started to race as Madi nodded, smiling as she stood up.
“No wait, Madi-”
She walked past Clarke and Gaia, walking towards Bellamy and grabbing his hand. He slightly made a face, moving to kneel in front of her.
“She says hi.”
Tears welled in Bellamy’s eyes as Madi let his hand go, moving to hug him, her head on his shoulder as she spoke.
“She says she loves you and she’ll always be by your side.”
A broken sob left Bellamy, remembering the day they made that promise.
“I thought you were dead.”
Bellamy shook his head, leaning down, softly pressing his lips to yours.
“I’m right here.”
You sighed, slightly shaking your head as you bit your lip.
“But you weren’t.”
He ran his hands up the top of your thighs, shaking his head as he crowded into your space, placing his hand under your chin and gently forcing you to look up at him.
“I promise, I’ll always be by your side. I’m not going anywhere.”
You nodded, sighing.
“Okay.”
You placed your hand on his chest, the other creeping behind his neck, playing with the coarse hair.
“And I promise you, I’ll always be by your side.”
You leaned up, Bellamy closing the remaining distance between you, kissing you. You leaned back first, pressing your forehead to his.
“Always.”

Tumblr media
"As M/N's wide, searching gaze fixates on the horizon, he contemplates the possibility of reuniting with his mother."
"Hey M/N, what are you doing over there?" Murphy called out. "You know you shouldn't wander too far; we just got here."
M/n gazed at him with his wide, unsettling eyes, releasing a long, audible sigh.
"You're a weird man, but I get it. Anyway, I made us both knives out of the dropped shift and- hold on, I got to deal with something," he said as he walked off.
M/N turned to see where Murphy was heading off to, but he didn't expect him to grab a girl and force her over the fire. He didn't know why he was surprised because Murphy would do some extreme stuff, but not this.
As everyone came over to see what the screaming was about, Murphy said to the crowd, "Check it out, we want the ark to think that the ground is killing us, right? I figure it'll look better if we suffer a little bit first."
M/N wanted to intervene, but he never became involved in Murphy's wrongdoing. Additionally, people are unaware that he and Murphy are friends, but mostly he doesn't want the attention to be directed toward him with something like this happening with Murphy.
Until, well, the chancellor's son stepped in.
"Let her go," he yelled, pushing him over.
"You can stop this," he told Bellamy.
"Stop this? I'm just getting started," Bellamy told Wells.
"Then Murphy came up and punched Wells. A boy in the distance yelled "Fight!" causing everyone to chant "Fight!" As the boys fought, getting thrown and exchanging punches, Wells managed to get Murphy down. Wells got up and faced Bellarny. "Don't you see you can't control this?"
"As Wells finished the sentence, Murphy stood up with a knife and said, 'You're dead.'"
Wait, "Fair fight," Bellary said, tossing a knife on the ground for Wells. Now M/N was getting a little bit worried, not for Murphy, but for Wells—maybe a little for Murphy.
M/n confidently moved away from the scene, intentionally avoiding it. In the background, M/n noticed Clarke and her group returning from their trip, with one member missing. "WELL!, let him go," Clarke said assertively, with concern in her voice.
Tumblr media
M/n was sitting down, trying to gather his thoughts and take in his surroundings, thinking of ways to survive out there for the rest of his life, when he felt someone's hands on his shoulder. His eyes widened as he saw that it was only Murphy.
"He had some blood on his face. M/n reached up to his face using his sleeve to clean him up a bit.
"Why do you always do that?" he questioned. M/n looked at him with his big eyes and made an unsure sound.
"I mean with your eyes – they're always wide."
M/N let out a soft "I don't know" through his lips.
"Murphy couldn't help but chuckle as he said, "Let go," pulling up m/n and striding over to where Bellamy was."
Tumblr media
Bellamy was tending to Octavia's wound. M/N seemed indifferent to where she got it and was present to hear Murphy complain about Wells and his sore face.
Then Clarke came along to talk to Bellamy and his gun which got M/N intrigued.
Good, follow me," Clarke said. "And why would I do that?" Bellamy said. "Because you want them to follow you, and right now they're thinking only one of us is scared," she added.
Murphy and your friend, come with me. M/n eyes widen. Atom? My sister doesn't leave this camp, is that's clear. Bellamy said, "I don't need a babysitter," Octavia called out. "Anybody touches her, they answer to me." Let go.
Since when are we in rescuing business, huh? Murphy said walking with Bellamy with m/n close behind
"The ark thinks the prince is dead once"." they think the princess is, too, they'll never come down. With a pause, Bellamy said, "I'm getting that wristband, even if I have to cut off her hand to do it."
M/n glanced down at his wristband, gently rubbing it with a thoughtful expression
Tumblr media
"Hey, hold up," Bellamy called out. "What's the rush? You don't survive a spear through the heart. Put the gun away Bellamy," Wells said in an aggressive tone. "Well, why don't you do something about it, Murphy," said, shoving Wells. "Huh?"
Jasper screamed as they moved him. "If the spear had struck his heart, he would have died instantly. We don't have time to waste," Clarke said.
as the conversation continued between Bellamy and Clarke.
Behind Murphy m/n slightly moved his hand on his upper arm and grasped softly so he didn't do anything stupid while he stared down wells.
Then he heard Finn call out, "Hey, don't you find your own nickname? You call this a rescue party? We've got to split up and cover more ground. Clarke come with me."Finn said as he walked off with her leaving the rest of the guys behind.
Tumblr media
M/n and Murphy walked together leaving Wells and Bellamy together.
You know that picking a fight with him isn't going to do much said in a soft tone.
"OMG, you can talk?" Murphy said in a fake surprised tone.
"Haha, very funny -_-," m/n said.
I understand what you're saying, but it somehow brings me comfort, you know?" Murphy said. "What, from getting your ass kicked?" M/N asked. "Shut up," Murphy said, punching M/N in the arm.
Tumblr media
Hey, how do we know this is the right way? Murphy said.
"We don't," Spacewalker thinks he's a tracker," Bellamy said.
"It is called the "cutting sign" for fourth-year earth skills," Wells cut in.
"Do you want to keep it down, or should I paint a target on your back?" Finn said. "Seems the only one who knows to keep quiet is big eyes over here." He suggested to m/n, whose eyes widened when he said that, slightly going behind Murphy.
See? You're invisible," Bellamy said to Wells. "Then, they hear Maon in the distance." "What the hell was that?" Murphy said. "Now would be a good time to take out that gun," Clarke said.
Tumblr media
Jasper Clarke said, Clarke.
OMG
Clarke be careful, said Finn.
As she ran around toward him and then slipped into a trap before she fell m/n caught her
She stared at m/n
Clarke! "Get her up," Finn called out as the boys helped m/n pull her out. "Hey, are you okay?" Finn said to Clarke.
"Yeah, thank you," she told him, panting.
He nodded his head at her.
"We need to get him down",she said
I'll climb up there and cut the vines Finn added
Yeah, yeah, I am with you," said Well "No, stay with Clarke and watch him," Finn said, suggesting to Bellamy. "Let go," talking to Murphy.
There's a poultice on his wound. Clarke said. "Medicine? Why would they save his life just to string him up as live bait?" Wells said. "Maybe what they're trying to catch likes its dinner to be breathing," Bellamy said.
"Maybe what they're trying to catch is us," Finn said.
Tumblr media
"Hurry up, Murphy!" Finn said.
"Be careful!" called out Clarke.
Then there was growling in the distance.
"What the hell was that?" Murphy questioned.
"Grounders," Bellamy answered in an unsure tone.
Then a jaguar came running up.
"Bellamy, gun!" yelled Clarke.
Then Wells started firing the gun, but everything went quiet.
The jaguar jumped at Bellamy, but before it could get him, Wells shot it.
"Now she sees you," Bellamy told Wells.
M/n was breathing heavily as the whole thing with down.
"that was crazy, "M/n thought.
Tumblr media
as they made the journey m/n helped carry the jaguar back
"Who hungry" yelled Bellamy causing everyone else to yell.
m/n stood next to Finn as they both watched everyone take their wristband off for food.
"Are you not going to get food?" asks Finn
M/n shook his head no.
"Are they taking off their wristbands for food? No way, I won't do it," Clarke said.
"You don't have to," said Finn, walking up to the food.
"Why aren't you going to get food like the rest of them?" Clarke asked M/N, to which he shook his head no again.
"Do you have someone you love up there too?" Clarke asked softly.
"Yes," said M/N softly.
Tumblr media
Clarke and Finn were eating. Then Finn got up, took a piece of their food, and walked over to m/n who was sitting by a different tree lost in thought. "Hey," m/n looked up at him and waved. "Here," Finn said as he gave him a piece and then walked away.
Unknowly Murphy was watching and he didn't like it one bit.
If yall want me to make this into a series let me know or make a one-shot instead.

The 100 ep.3 pt2
You opened your eyes for the first time in what feels like forever. Your mind was groggy but the first thing you notice is a low light surrounding you. A small groan leaves your lips as you try to shift in your spot, your spine screaming at you to move.
“Woah Woah Woah hey slow down tiger” even if you couldn’t recognize the voice, the nickname was a dead giveaway.
“Finn?” You ask, voice hoarse from screaming. A hand goes to your hair, gently brushing it back.
“Yeah, it’s me. You had me worried there for a while.” He lets out a sad chuckle.
“I’m sorry.” You say grabbing his other hand.
“Hey it’s okay, it’s not like you wanted to get speared.” You both chuckle but yours is followed by another groan.
“You need to rest y/n” you sigh.
“I know, but I really just want some water and to sit up.” Finn looks at you wearily.
“I’ll get you some water but before you sit up I’m gonna need to talk to good ol’ doctor Clarke…she saved your life y/n like literally saved you I don't know what we would have done without her.” With that Finn gets up and leaves and you're left with your thoughts. You had never imagined Clarke would save your life, you always thought she resented you for having such a close relationship with her dad. Before you could fixate on it any longer Finn and Clarke walk into the dropship. Clarke is the first to speak.
“Hey, I'm so glad you are awake.” You give her a soft smile.
“Thank you so saving me Clarke.” Surprisingly she grabs your hand and gives it a squeeze.
“Anytime Y/n.” You return the squeeze.
“So doc, any chance I can sit up?” Clarke bites the inside of her cheek contemplating.
“Let me take a look at your wound first okay?” You nod and Clarke lifts your shirt. Her face reads shock. “Finn look.” He leans forward face matching Clarkes.
“What? Is it bad?” Panic starts to well in your chest. She shakes her head.
“No, the opposite actually, it's healing really well. I think you can sit up.” You let out a sigh of relief.
“Thank god my back is killing me.” They both chuckle as Finn and Clarke grab each one of your arms slowly sitting you up. You grunt a little from the soreness in your body but eventually let out a sigh. “This is nice.” You say laying your head on Finn's shoulder. Everyone is quiet for a few minutes. You are the first to speak. “I really miss Wick.” Finn and Clarke share a sad glance.
“I know, but if Monty can get those bracelets working then He’ll be down here in no time.” You nod.
“How is that going anyways?” Clarke rubs her face.
“Not well if I'm going to be honest.” You frown.
“Well if anyone can-” There's a knock at the door, you look up and see Bellamy standing in the doorway awkwardly.
“Hey heard you were awake.” Clarke and Finn look at each other before nodding and standing up.
“We’ll just give you two some privacy.” You look at them confused before you realize. Bellamy had visited you while you were unconscious and you had heard every word he said. Bellamy takes a seat next to you playing with his fingertips. You reach out and grab his hand.
“I heard everything ya know…felt everything.” Bellamy's cheeks heat up and he keeps his head down.
“You know out there, I can be anything. This strong leader that everyone needs right now but...when I saw you laying there almost dead I didn't think I could be. The moment I laid eyes on you I just knew something was different about you. I know your Kanes daughter but you don't carry yourself like the other privileged do.”
“Because I'm not. I worked hard for everything I got. My dad didn't hand me a damn thing. I fought my way into the mechanic's program to work next to Jake Griffin and Sinclair. “
“I admire that about you.”
“Why do you care so much about me Bellamy you barely even know me…I'm sorry that was rude. I don't mind I mean you are really attractive and have a good head on your shoulders, you clearly know how to survive. But why me?” You ramble on. Bellamy smiles looking at you.
“You think I'm attractive?” You reach out and push his shoulder.
“Yeah yeah don't let it go to your head.” He laces your fingers together.
“I want us to survive…together.” This time your cheeks heat us and you look down.
“Bellamy…”
“We can start slow, as teammates. As friends.” You smile and give his hand a squeeze
“Friends.”
The Ark
Wick was pacing in the hall outside the astronaut wing. There was something wrong and he wanted to get to the bottom of it. He hadnt heard from Y/n in over a week and no one was allowed to go to the prison. Finally, the door opens, and out walks Raven.
“Wick?” Raven looks surprised to see him they haven't really talked since Y/n was captured. You were the glue to the friendship of the four.
“Something is wrong.” Raven immediately knew what he was talking about but didn't know if she should tell WIck that everyone was sent to the ground including his best friend. So she decided to play dumb.
“What do you mean?” He sighs rubbing his face.
“Somethings going on they won't let me visit Y/n and there's talk that a ship was launched.”
Shit. Raven thought. She grabs his hand.
“Come on we can't talk here.” She pulls him to a secluded part of the wing.
“They were sent to earth. Y/n included to see if it's survivable but-”
“What?!” All forms of panic set in.
“But! Abby Griffin is going to send me there so we can get them in contact with the ark so we all can come down.”
“I'm coming with.” Raven shakes her head. “No, you need to stay here.” “Raven she is all I have. My everything is on earth and I need to be down there with her.” ravens heart breaks for Wick.
“Fine but we need to move fast.”

The 100 for the meme
favorite male character: John Murphy and you guys all know it's not fucking close lmao. Like, next spots would probably go to Monty, then Lincoln, and I like them plenty, but it's probably telling that I never really missed them (as in, what they brought to the story*) after they were gone. (*in a strange way, I missed that more from the likes of Jaha or even Jasper, who I liked significantly less but did bring perspectives that the show actively suffered without imo, while Monty and Lincoln's absence brought meaning in themselves, iykwim?).
favorite female character: here there's more competition because it's changed from Octavia/Raven/Echo/Emori. Rn I'll go with Octavia, because a) I'm knees deep into her Blodreina arc, and b) she remains the only character who made me feel things in early season 6.
least favorite character: after all is said and done, Kane. Begooooone.
prettiest character: I JUST REALLY REALLY LIKE EMORI'S FACE. Also Octavia is incredibly hot, especially as Blodreina lmao. And Echo's actress was actively toned down (whenever I see a photoshoot of her in the wild... dayum), but still *-*
funniest character: Clarke, to me. I've laughted SO much thanks to her <3
favorite season: season 5!!!!!!!!
favorite episode: oooof. Hard to pick, the ones I love, I love A LOT. But this next week I rewatch 1x10 and I think it says a lot that I remember it as well as I do despite it being a fucking decade since I watched it. So I'll go with that one.
favorite romantic ship: MEMORI.
favorite family ship: the Blakes, if done right from beginning to end, would've had a chokehold on me ngl.
favorite friend ship: Raven & Murphy. Sometimes a guy shoots you and cripples you. Sometimes a gal tries to get you executed in her loser ex-boyfriend's place. Sometimes a beautiful friendship blossoms from it xDD
worst ship: Bellamy/Clarke like. Objectively lmfao. Here, have two people who have subzero romantic interest in each other. Getting together would actively tank both of them. He projects his brotherly feelings onto her. She uses him whenever convenient and when she finally kills him it's not even about their relationship. OT-FUCKING-P HUH??

The Two-Horned Beast - THE 100 REWRITE Chapter Twenty-Five
[THE 100 MASTERLIST]
Previous Chapter / Next Chapter
Summary: Raven was saved but the group wasn't out of the woods just yet. They still had to find a way to really put an end to Alie. Thanks to a book written by the hand of the woman that made the AI, they found a new lead, a Grounder named Luna, who might be the key to all this.
Words: 4.8k
Warnings: The 100 season 3 spoilers (episode 12 "Demons"), fluff, some romance, guns, knives, blood, stabbing, attempted & actual murder
The sun had risen in the sky as they drove full speed across a field. They drove all night really, with Bellamy at the wheels. Clarke was at the front with him, and Michelle was sitting at the back with the others as they all began to plan out their next moves to stop Alie and her army of zombies. They had saved Raven from her grip, but the latter was far from being the only one that was being mind controlled. Michelle looked through the windshield, listening to the conversation with one ear, leaning forward on her lap. She was wondering about the situation in Polis. Her father was there, and she hoped he was safe. For the time being, they were headed for Arkadia. It was probably fine to return since Alie and her minions were trying to find them and they were far from the trading post already.
“Becca’s journal is amazing.” Raven exclaimed, carefully flipping the pages of the old notebook. “At 26, she found a pathway to access a human mind. That same year, she had to lock up Alie, because her answer for what was wrong with the world was “too many people”. She was 27 when it launched the bombs.”
“What did she write about the Flame?” Clarke twisted on her seat, turning towards them.
“Alie 2.0. She saw it as a way to atone for her sins. She designed it to not just access a human mind, but to merge with one. It could never wipe us out, because it would be one of us. She put it in herself first. Altered her genes so her body wouldn’t reject the implant.”
“Bekka Pramheda, the first Commander.” Michelle glanced at Clarke. She nodded to herself before looking at the others, crossing the gaze of her best friend before she focused back on Raven. “The gene therapy made her blood black, didn’t it?”
“Yeah.” She said quietly, surprised that she knew this detail without having read the diary. She wasn’t the only one that was surprised.
“How did you know that?” Octavia enquired.
“Nightblood. That’s where it came from. Somehow it became hereditary. Luna has it. That’s why we have to find her. If she can access Alie-2…”
“She can tell us how to stop Alie-1.” Octavia said, concluding Clarke’s statement.
“Get back to the mind pathway.” Monty spoke, taking a closer look at the Flame. “If Alie uses it to upload our minds to the City of Light, then there’s a chance my mo’s still alive.”
“That depends on your definition of “alive”.” Raven’s words must have shattered his hopes, but he shot his mother. The woman’s body wasn’t alive anymore and whatever was left of her in the City of Light, wasn’t her. Seeing him like this made Michelle quite sad and it made her think how if her father happened to take the chip, she wasn’t sure she would have the guts to shoot if he put someone in danger. She hoped she would never have to kill him to save someone else because if her father, her only remaining parent, died by her own hand, she would never survivre it. Losing her mother broke her and she didn’t even see her pass away, so it would be the last straw. She would never recover from it.
“Eyes sharp. Weapons hot. We’re almost home.” Bellamy spoke up as they approached Arkadia’s grounds. He called for Harper and Miller over the radio, telling them they were a couple minutes away from camp, but no one replied. It wasn’t a good sign. Michelle straightened up, stretching her, craning forward to look through the windshield. She couldn’t see Arkadia just yet. They were still too far but once they saw it in the distance, and noticed the gates were wide open and there was no one in sight, they stopped the vehicle. Some of them got out with their weapons, walking alongside the car, Jasper standing up at the back, sticking out through the roof opening and Bellamy had left the wheel to Michelle. She wouldn't have minded coming outside with him, Clarke, Octavia, and Sinclair; she was a pretty good shot, but he had insisted that she stay inside the Rover. Her assumption turned out to be correct though, Alie and her minions had deserted the place, probably since last night. From inside the car, she couldn’t really hear what the others were saying but she heard Jasper note that no one was there to fix the gate. It was like a ghost town as they slowly progressed inside the camp.
“Maybe they saw the open gate and went in for Lincoln’s book.” Jasper added, talking about Miller and Harper. Bellamy was still trying to get a hold of them, but no one was responding. When she looked in the mirrors and saw her peers stopping in their tracks, she slowed the car and turned her head to Raven, sitting in the front seat next to her. She met her gaze and she understood they had stopped by the pool of blood that must have soaked the grounds ever since Lincoln was shot by Pike. She gulped and they continued on their way to get the grounder’s book. It was supposed to guide them to other Grounders that could help them to stop Alie, with all that nightblood stuff. As they approached the hangar, the doors opened and she drove in, opening the window and popping her head through, to hear what Bellamy was saying. He looked at her after telling Jasper to close the roof.
“Turn the Rover around. We may need to get outta here quickly.” She nodded and sat back into the driver’s seat, waiting for the others to get out from around the vehicle to turn the car around. The doors of the hangar closed shut behind them with a thud. As the group looked around the large room, she did as Bellamy asked and then jumped out of the car. Climbing up the small flight of stairs, she, Raven, and Monty joined the others around the table where a bunch of stuff was scattered, decks of cards, half-empty plates and drinks, as if people just got up and walked away, leaving everything behind to rot, without a second thought. “We’re in and out. Pack as much gear as you can into the Rover.”
“I’ll get the map.” Octavia left almost as quickly as she spoke. Jasper went along with her. As she watched them walk away, Michelle was reminded of the fact that her precious jacket was still lying somewhere in Bellamy’s room, and she wanted to get it back before they left camp again. She was about to mention it to Bellamy, parting her lips, turned towards him, when Raven came from behind her and spoke up.
“What’s the rush? They won’t be coming back.”
“How do you know?” Clarke asked.
“Alie’s mission is to chip everyone. It wouldn’t make sense to return to a place she already took.”
“It might make sense if there was someone in that place, you, who could tell us stuff like that.” Raven agreed with Sinclair’s point, and they all went in different directions. Only Michelle went after Bellamy and he looked over his shoulder, hearing her footsteps. She still wanted her jacket, even if she was wearing her father’s ever since the group parted ways with him, Pike, and the Grounders. He nodded at her request, and they walked through the door towards the inside of the Ring, heading for Bellamy’s room. The two of them walked inside the room and Michelle kind of looked around while Bellamy opened a wardrobe next to his bed. He let his gun hang to his side as he took the jacket from a hanger. She took off the large, black guards’ jacket that her father gave her so she wouldn’t be cold and put it down on the desk while he handed her vest to her.
“Thank you.” She said as she took and put it on, one sleeve after the other. Then, she picked up her father’s and put it back on. She noticed Bellamy watching her as she got dressed and she looked at him with a chuckle, the corner of her lip stretching into a smirk. “What?”
“Nothing.” He shook his head, looking away, and she took a step towards him, taking his hand, intertwining their fingers as they locked eyes. His eyes went down to her mouth for half a second and he cupped her face in his free hand, pressing his lips against hers. Their kiss grew more passionate as time went on and he let go of her hand to slip his fingers in her hair, at the back of her head. Her whole body felt like it was lit on fire when they broke their embrace, resting his forehead against her cheekbone. She was catching her breath, as if she had forgotten how to breathe properly and she heard Bellamy chuckle. She smiled, telling him not to laugh, playfully pushing him away, shaking her head and he caught her arms, pulling her back towards him into a hug and she wrapped her arms around him, warm under his jacket. She could feel him breathing in her hair while she rested her chin on his shoulder, closing her eyes. It was the first, real intimate moment that they had shared in many months and damn, how she had missed it. The words I love you, would take a little longer to be spoken out loud though.
“All right let’s go look around. We don’t know know how much time we have right now.” She broke the embrace and he nodded. They left together, exiting the Ring through the front door. She didn’t have a gun, so she remained behind Bellamy as he kicked open the door to the armory, holding his gun up in case he came face-to-face with someone. It was empty. She stepped in after him as he opened a mesh cupboard inside which they could see a bunch of automatic shotguns lined up. He checked the content of the boxes stored underneath. They were filled to the brim with bullets. He grabbed the radio at his belt and contacted the rest of the group still inside the hangar.
“Everyone finish what you’re doing and meet us at the armory.”
“Why? What’s going on?” Clarke was the one to respond.
“You’ll see when you get there. We just got lucky.” While she told them they were on their way, Bellamy picked up a gun, filled a charger with bullets and gave it to Michelle. The latter started walking back and forth outside the door, looking around the camp, alert, and turned to Bellamy while they waited for the others to join them. Her mind was really making her do comparisons between what she now had with Bellamy and what she once had with Murphy. She didn’t want to keep thinking about both the relationships she had ever had but her conclusion was that the two were diametrically opposed. Maybe it was because she had grown since they first landed on the ground, and because Bellamy was a few years older, but their relationship had a much more mature feeling to it. The nature of their feelings for each other was very different from when she was with Murphy. When he left, she realized, even if he did love and care for her, she most likely loved him more than he did. She mentally shrugged, thinking it would have ended at some point but the fact that he just got up and left, with Jaha, it still bothered her. She shook the thought away when Clarke’s voice reached their ears. She was calling out their names weakly, panting and Bellamy caught her before she fell, giving her support so she could stand. “What is it? What’s going on?”
“Emerson.” It was just one word, well a name really, but the three of them were very much aware of what it meant. The guy from Mount Weather, who they thought they had gotten rid of already, was back, harder to kill than a cockroach. The trio then walked into the ring, with Bellamy and Michelle walking in front of Clarke, their heads tilted, eyes glued to the viewfinder lens, guns up, flashlights on.
“Where’s Monty?” Bellamy enquired.
“Emerson took him. Why?” She frowned, trying to understand what Emerson’s motivation was. He grabbed his radio and tried to make contact with his sister, stopping in their tracks.
“Octavia, can you hear me? Come in.”
“Jasper was with her.”
“Jasper, are you there? Say something.” The only answer they got was a static sound crackling on the other end.
“Maybe Emerson got them too.” Michelle said quietly. Clarke looked down, frowning, shaking her head.
“Miller, Harper, Bryan… This is all my fault. I let Emerson live.”
“What are you talking about?” Bellamy looked at Clarke, blinking in confusion before exchanging a glance with Michelle. She had no idea what she was talking about either, but their friend seemed preoccupied. Her eyes went from one to the other.
“In Polis. I had a chance to kill him, but I let him go.”
“Bellamy, what’s wrong?” Raven’s voice came over the radio, interrupting their conversation.
“Raven, are you okay? Where are you?” He immidietaly asked.
“Still in engineering. We’re fine.”
“Raven, listen to me. Emerson is here. Are the others with you?” Clarke spoke up, taking the radio after Bellamy handed it to her. Raven replied in the negative. She was alone with Sinclair. Clarke then gave them instructions to lock down the hangar bay and to not let anybody in but the three of them. They had yet to find their other friends, who were probably held somewhere by Emerson. They ran there but when they came at the door, shouting out the mechanic’s name, banging on the door, no one answered, and the hangar was plunged in the dark. They left, running around the ring to get to the other door. When they reached the large door from the outside, it was just opened slightly, leaving a thin thread of light penetrate inside. Slipping through the opening one after the other, the two childhoos best friends kneeled next to the lifeless body of Sinclair, lying on the ground, a large stain of blood on his t-shirt, and blood running down his mouth. His dead eyes stared right back at them, frozen, and empty. Clarke still went to check his pulse, but it was obviously too late. He was already gone. She closed his eyes. Michelle sighed and got up, her hands on the gun hanging across her shoulders, glancing around the hangar. Raven was nowhere to be seen.
“He took Raven.”
“We’re too late.” Bellamy added, but Clarke somehow disagreed. She turned her head to them.
“He didn’t kill Monty or Raven. He would’ve left their bodies. Michelle is right, he took them somewhere.”
“If you’re right, Octavia and the others are there, too. Where would he be taking them? They could be anywhere. How does he even know his way around?”
“He was here. You were in Mount Weather.” As she talked, Clarke was already thinking, and she came to the conclusion that the man that had them running around the compound looking for their friends, had taken them to the very airlock in which he had been detained before. It only made sense that he would lock them up in there. She snatched the radio from Bellamy’s belt. “Emerson. I know you’re listening. We need to talk.”
“I don’t need to do anything.” They heard grunts in the background, confirming that he did have their friends with him. Clarke had their back to them, facing the hangar’s door and Michelle and Bellamy looked at each other. “You should have killed me when you had the chance.”
“And now you’re here to kill me, is that it?”
“Something like that.”
“Then let my friends go.” She tried to bargain with him, offering to give herself over if he did what she asked. Of course, neither Michelle nor Bellamy wanted this to happen. She turned to them. “I know what I’m doing.” Michelle gave her a firm nod, trusting her, though this whole ordeal worried her.
“Come to the airlock. No weapons. Right now.”
“What the hell are you doing?” Bellamy stopped her as she walked away with a determined step. She was set on saving their friends and they didn’t disagree with this but neither of them wanted her to sacrifice herself.
“Look, when it’s over, take this to Luna. Promise me.” She took the Flame out of her pocket and handed it over to him. Her eyes went to Michelle who didn’t like the way she was talking about all this, as if she was going to die going to the airlock and there was nothing to do about it. She didn’t the decisiveness of this moment. Bellamy slightly squinted his eyes, shaking his head.
“No. You’re outta your mind your mind if you think we’re letting you do this alone.” Though she stayed quiet, used to go along with the flow of whatever Clarke wanted to do, Bellamy didn’t even think about it and included her in his statement, knowing that she was as much against this as he was. And in other circumstances, she would have sketched a smile, because he was right. Clarke glanced at Michelle before putting her gaze back on him.
“This is my fault. I’m not letting anyone else die for my mistake, okay? So take it!” She didn’t raise her voice, but her tone and gesture were strong and direct, urging him to take the flame from her hand.
“Are you through? I don’t know what happened between you and Emerson in Polis. But I do know that letting him kill you here today is a stupid plan.”
“You got a better one?” He pinched his lips and shrugged; his smirk tinged with sadness.
“You distract him, we shoot him.” Clarke let go of her original plan to just surrender herself to the mountain man and nodded to Bellamy’s proposition. She looked down at the flame while Bellamy stepped away. Now, they had to put the plan into motion, and hope it would go smoothly but what Emerson would do, and his reactions were out of their control. Clarke walked a few feet ahead of them, with Bellamy and Michelle with their guns right behind. They stood behind the corner, hidden in the shadows while she held up her hands and approached the airlock.
“I held up my part of the deal. Your turn. Let my friends go.”
“Tell Bellamy to show themselves first.” He must have seen Bellamy’s shadow, or he simply knew the girl would never actually come alone but they were both reminded that even though Michelle knew the man’s name and who he was, he probably didn’t even remember her, other than being that one Asian girl who was Clarke’s friend. She wasn’t even sure he remembered that she was one of those who basically got her thigh drilled into and almost died, if it weren’t for Clarke opened all exits of Mount Weather. The two gunsmen glanced at each other.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about...” She tried to lie, and he knew it. He grunted and Octavia let out a scream, prompting Bellamy to come out of hiding, telling Michelle to stay back with his eyes. She gave him a nod, standing her back to the wall to conceal herself better. He kept his gun ready to fire as he stepped into the hallway.
“Good. Now, take out the clip, throw it down the hall, put the gun down and get inside.”
“Please, you wanted me.” She tried to talk with him, but he wasn’t here to listen to her pleading. Surrending herself in exchange for her friends’ lives being spared, but something was off. He really wanted Bellamy to come into the airlock. The latter gave in, telling him to stop. Michelle didn’t know what Emerson was doing but she guessed that he must have been holding Octavia at gunpoint or something like that, for the young man to be this nervous. He did as order, took out the clip and kneeled, putting down his gun, along with the rest of his weapons, which included the two knives he had. He threw them away, making them slide down the hall and their course stopped right in front of Michelle. If it came down to it and using her gun was too dangerous, she would pick up one of the blades and use it against Emerson. It was clear that Bellamy took advantage of the fact the man was clueless about a third person being there. He then put his hands up in the air and walked towards the airlock, disappearing from Michelle's sight. She heard Emerson’s voice addressing Bellamy followed by Octavia grunting. Michelle was practically glued to the wall, taking deep, quiet breath, ready to step in. She clenched her jaw, hating the fact that she was blind to what was now happening, right around the corner. She listened to Emerson giving orders to Clarke, telling her to get down on her knees and put her hand behind her head. There were footsteps, certainly Emerson, followed by a beeping sound and the airlock door closing.
“No- You can do anything you want with me. Okay? Just let them go.” Hearing him grunt, Michelle peeked. Emerson was his back to her, holding Clarke the collar of her coat and pushing her towards the closed space. He put his arm around her neck, his handgun against her head, pressing her against the glass. Michelle then thought, using her gun would put Clarke’s life at risk, while using a much sneakier weapon such as Bellamy’s knives, would give her a bigger chance of neutralizing Emerson. She let go of her shotgun, letting it hang to her side and picked up both blades to her feet, holding the handles tightly. And she waited for the right opportunity to come out. Not knowing if he had his finger on the trigger didn’t help her determine when to act either and she couldn’t risk Emerson seeing her, it would fuck the whole plan up as well.
“You murdered 381 people. You took the lives of my children, my brother, my friends. Did you really think that I would be happy with just one life in return?” When she heard him step back, dragging Clarke with him, she took another look. The gun was now aimed towards the ceiling. He put his arm back around Clarke, right across her chest and used his free hand to uncover a glowing red button. She came out of hiding as he pressed it. A voice over PA announced that the airlock was being emptied of its oxygen. He looked to asphyxiate their friends. She took advantage of the loud, dull noise covering her steps and she rushed towards him, driving the blades of the daggers right into his skull with a grunt. A gunshot went off as he collapsed, dragging Clarke with him. She broke free from his grip and rushed to the airlock control panel to open the door. Michelle just then processed what she did and though she didn’t feel bad about it, she couldn’t help but stare at Emerson’s face, his empty eyes staring back at her. She realized her fingers were trembling, so she closed her hands into fists. The two knives looking like horns that had grown on the sides of his head. Clarke got up, stretching out her arms to reopen the airlock. Their friends inside weren’t exactly passed out but a little lightheaded from the lack of oxygen, breathing heavily, while the two were getting rid of Emerson. Michelle stepped over the man’s body, helped Clarke up. As she freed one of them, they helped free each other. Michelle went to untie Bellamy from the wall and frowned in frustration since her hands were still a bit shaky. She felt his gaze upon her.
“Are you okay?” He asked quietly.
“You’re the one that’s restrained. I’m fine.” He grabbed her hand and glanced over his shoulder at Emerson. She huffed, following his eyes, and stared at the dead body. The knives sticking out of his heads, a pool of blood all over the floor and trickles having flowed across his face. His eyeballs were hidden, covered with a red layer. It wasn’t the first she had had a deadly weapon in her hands, but it was the very first time that she stabbed someone this violently, in the head, and not just with one knife, but two at that. She didn’t have such a hard time shooting at people with a gun but using bladed weapons did shake her up a little. She didn’t even think, she just did it to save Clarke. Seeing that she was staring at Emerson, he stepped aside, blocking her view, making her look at him.
“You did it to save Clarke.”
“Yes, I know why I did it.” She pinched her lips, not reacting the way she would have wanted to. She answered abruptly when he was only trying to help her. But he understood and only looked at her with concern for her on his face. She locked eyes with Clarke and Octavia, who noticed them holding hands and the latter were surprised to say the least. They obviously didn’t expect to see their siblings together. The group then eventually walked outside, dragging Emerson’s body away. At nightfall, while they were putting things away, they saw Bellamy walk through the gate, carrying a large body wrapped in a body bag, in his arms.  Because of the weight of the body, his gait was a bit slowed down, and his steps were heavy, sinking into the mud. He put it on the ground and took a step back while Octavia fell to her knees. She raised her hand to uncover the head and hesitated for a moment before finally doing so. It was Lincoln.
Octavia's sobbing turned into hearbreaking wailing. The rest of them were all silently standing there. Michelle felt her pain, though it was not over the death of the same type of love, she had cried just as hard over her mother. It made her want to cry and she felt a tear had run down her cheek. She swiftly wiped it away. They built a pyre and put both Sinclair and Lincoln’s bodies on it. Raven went forth, saying her goodbyes to her former mentor and stepped back while Octavia lit the pyre, pronouncing words in trigedasleng. Your fight is over. They all repeated those words in unison. While Michelle said it for their two peers, her eyes rose to the starry night sky and her thoughts went to her mother and she stared at the fire, losing her gaze in the dance of flames until Octavia's voice rises above the loud crackling.
“It’s time to go. I’ll get the map.” Bellamy watched her walk away, swallowing harshly. As he turned back towards the fire, he felt a hand hold his and his eyes went down to his hand and then up to Michelle’s face before they both observed the fire for a moment. After a while, they all went to the hangar to put their things into the rover and get ready to leave. Clarke was putting the flame back in its box and Bellamy was carrying boxes of weapons into the back of the car. Michelle was next to her childhood friend. The three exchanged a nod as he walked past them.
“Hey, we’re leaving. Why aren’t you ready?” Bellamy asked Raven and Monty as the two approached.
“We’re not going with you.” She then said, being helped down by Monty. “I can barely walk, and my shoulder is killing me. But my brain’s all kinds of awesome.”
“She remembered that Alie downloaded herself into the Ark mainframe. If the code is still there, we might be able to find a back door.” Monty added.
“I’m guessing once you connect Alie-2 to Luna, we’ll need to access Alie-1 to take her down.”
“Miller.” Bellamy called to the young man in the background, with his boyfriend and Harper. He motioned towards the other two.
“I’ll keep ‘em safe.”
“I’ll keep them safe.” Harper said, repeating his words with a smile.
“How about you? It’s gonna be dangerous.” Bellamy turned his head to Jasper.
“You know me well. I’m in.” On his words, Bellamy walked off while Clarke and Michelle said goodbye to their friends. Octavia went directly inside the car. Clarke went to the front with Bellamy and Michelle joined Octavia, followed by Jasper. The humming noise of the engine starting sounded in the hangar as Raven shut the backdoor and they drove away. Next step was finding this Luna and find a way to get rid of Alie once and for all.
