I've been thinking about this a bit, and I think I finally found the perfectly imperfect dating tropes for each Batfam member. Or at least most. With a little description of what each would be like while dating 💕 (just headcanons)

Grian is known as unloyal right? But i was just thinking, in 3rd life he stayed with scar to the end, even after he lost his first life, last life, he stayed until the Southlanders disbanded, and still stayed with Impulse, yeah he killed Mumbo and Jimmy but they did hit him first, i don't even remember what Martyn did but he wondered off i think, Double life, yeah okay he did cheat on Scar with the secret soulmates, though he did still try to stay with Scar, he gave him what he could and stayed, Limited life, He stayed until his boys died, didn't really turn on them or anything, stayed until they died and kept the bad boy skin on to honor them, Secret life, he stayed with Etho and Cleo till the end, even though he was alone for the first few episodes, Real life, technically he stayed with Timmy, Scar and Joel i think that was the team there. I guess we shall see what will happen in Wild life though, I'm very excited for more videos ❤💛💚

But I don't know just my view on this and I'm a Grian fictionkin (Of the character, not the CC obviously) so idk, i could just yap about the life series forever <3

I adore that he has Sebastian’s hair but with Lyla’s black color, and Sebastian’s freckles too—it’s such a cute combo. I really hope you don’t mind me asking!

why terra means so much to me as a character and why dispute the VAs and the shows flaws I will always love it and it will always have a special place in my heart

god I love terra she is such a good character and personality touches me in a way very few characters do. First off her design is gorgeous all of them especially her new one. But that is just the tip of the iceberg as to why I love her. Her character is really good as well as the arcs she goes through. She is such a loveable dork and I love her for it yeah she can be stubborn and naive and a bit petty and a hypocrite at times but that is balanced out by her being extremely kind careing and would gladly risk her life for those she cares about. She is flaws and she realizes this and that's ok. She doesn't have to be perfect 24 and is flawed and has problems with is not only ok with is a great lesson and arc for her to have noe let's get into the big thing to why I love earth and why I relate to her so much. Her relationship with the creator now I will get a little personal and say that her relationship with the creator is similar to my relationship with one of my parents I do not feel comfortable saying anything else on the matter outside of that. And that fact that the way the handle it was so.....real in a good way. And the fact that it showed how earth was and how I am still feeling about this person just gets me so much. And how it handled so well and that she was like I still am extremely conflicted about the creator being bad cause he loved her and showed it and was quite literally unable to see the literal red flags that were there and the more she finally did see them the more she realized he never loved her. All those sacrifices earth thought he made for her all that time of him saying he loved her all those times were he said he was concern for her just........look I know that Kat isn't in the fandom anymore after how she was treated but if she as well as the other VAs see this just thank you from the bottom of my heart. and this goes to the fandom as well thank you. You made me be seen in a way I never thought was possible and showed that the anger and betrayal I feel is justified and that you will find people that love you for you truly. And that it will be ok. Just thank you from the bottom of my heart thank you. What's the origin of your blog title: I used to have a bad habit of deleting my tumblr blog every few years and could also never settle on a name when I made a new account; 'solidarity' (plus a couple letters lol) is the best name I've landed on since then that doesn't make me feel unbearably antsy and like I want to change it (it's solid! It's right there in the name! 😂); it implies an ongoing commitment to myself and others and I really like that :) (vuesfluides did you notice we basically have opposite reasons for our blog names?? Yours about change and mine kind of about staying the same?? Because I did and omg I love it 😄)

Weirdest habit/trait: Just one?? 😬😂😫🫠 uhhhhh well. I pop all the time. Like if the letter P was a word all by itself? The objective is generally to make it sound as loud as possible. If you met me in real life, within a week of knowing me you would probably start doing it back to me like we are having some kind of conversation via Weird Noises. Everyone I know eventually does it back and it Delights Me 😂

Hobbies: my #1 hobby is definitely reading fanfiction 😆. I'm a pole dancer as well, and I draw/paint. I would love to start doing more fanart. I'm currently trying to revive my writing via Stucky fanfic...it's going kinda rough atm but we'll get there!

Favorite food: much like colors, idk if I can pick one. You ever had homemade greek salad with freshly cracked black pepper and hand squeezed lemon juice?? Boba tea. Pad thai?? What about cheesy sourdough bread 😫🙌 I made a green smoothie last week that felt like it healed me from the inside out. How does one choose???

Favorite animal: ohhh I can't choose that either. They are all my babies 🥹💓 that bird out the window? My baby. Feral alleycat? I gave birth to that thing. The local racoon? My firstborn son!!

What were you like as a child? My best self tbh. I was super sweet and SUPER creative. I loved everybody like it was the easiest thing in the world. I was an annoying little shit though too; used to steal peoples glasses and watches and pinch people for sport 🤣

If you could change any detail about your life right now, what would it be: I desparately wish I had like...a group of wise elders I could go to for my problems. Not a therapist. A group of wise old people who Get Me and we Vibe and have Shared Interests to bridge the gap and give us an excuse to casually hang out and talk about life and get to know each other. I think also just more irl community in general would be awesome.

If you could travel in time, who would you like to meet: Oh, I would go WAY back in time to some ancient civilization like Mesopotamia or something and just take it in, whoever I met. I'm certain it would be FASCINATING regardless of who I ran into there! It keeps hitting me randomly...

I'm telling myself whatever grief or emotions I'm processing is valid.

Parasocial relationships are weird but Attachment is Attachment even if it's one way. Grief is Grief.

This is how emotional dependance and gratitude works I suppose. It's not overreacting over some celebrity's death but the effect left is real to mourn for ages.

When you didn't wake, all Marcel could do was force his breathing, because if he didn't, it would stop. His heart broke into a million pieces. You two weren't meant to be in the fates, but he was going to save you. He couldn't stop caring. He couldn't stop loving you, no matter what this meant. He tried to smile, gently moving some hair out of your eyes.

The eyes were still closed.

Margaret's body shook as she sobbed. From the moment she realized she loved you, she believed God or some kind of fate brought you together, like in the fairy tale books her mother read her as a kid.

But this was real life, and those were stories. There were no happy ever-afters. She failed you, and her body sagged against yours, her forehead touching your own as she kept whispering.

She rubbed soft circles in your hand, her tears flowing freely. As stupid as it sounded, she hadn't believed in true love since her ex, but that all changed when you came into her life. 

You made her believe again, and now you were gone—worse, then death—hell, in death she might be able to visit you. You were in an endless sleep, and she was awake. Alone and awake. 

She laid down beside you, closing her eyes as tears still poured out of them, hoping sleep would take her to you by some miracle.

Tai was about cold, hard facts—something that was hard for him when it had anything to do with you. You were everything to him. He loved you. It scared him to death, but he loved you, and it wasn't meant to be by fate.

When the kiss didn't work, he felt like he couldn't breathe until he kissed you again. In a different angle, on your forehead, then on your cheek, until he realized he was crying. 

He didn't know what to do, and he hated it. It was worse than being wrong. He shook his head, holding you close. He was going to wake you up no matter the cost because maybe he wasn't your true love, but you were his, and that was a fact.

💚 Zane

".....no....no...." Zane whispered. 

All Zane felt was fury. You tricked him. Somehow you tricked him. Was this your plan to make him fall in love with you and then leave him....to what....break him? 

He got up and started pacing, pointing an accusing finger at you with your eyes still closed, mocking him. 

"You said... you said we were going to be together forever. You said you loved me! You liar! I love you! Why can't you love me?" He screamed, his anger not at you but at himself. 

He never knew what love was before you, so was it all a lie? Was it all some kind of story that people made up to make themselves feel better? Zane put his head in his hands, his mind racing as he questioned your relationship.

It broke him.

Etho finally tells SnifferMyFeet what happened between him and Joel post-Double Life. Sometimes people slip right through your fingers... It's just weird it happened twice.

It's familiar, but not in the way you think. It's familiar because the universe speaks to itself (to his soul) each time it checks he's doing okay. Especially on full moon nights. When the moon reaches down its light, Etho adjusts his footing and licks his lips, then chews its fingers and nuzzles back.

Give yourself a shake. Fluff up your fur. It's the arctic fox way. Then you run off to do exactly what you're meant to do, because you're born of the universe and were given conscious thought so you could love your role. The mobs play their part. You play yours. Beneath silver moonlight, we meet and make merry, for tomorrow we're AFK for weeks or months on end. You're born in the code. You live forever. And that's just the way of things.

Which is to say that snuggling up next to Sniff, one hand pressed to the back of his shoulders to hold him down against the mattress, is one of those wild things that's new and familiar at the exact same time. You remember all those tools we were gonna clean his code with? Yeah, those are beginner's toys. This is how it's done right.

It's a work of teeth and tongue: nipping code beneath his skin with glowing teeth and pulling it to straighten strings. It's goopy, thick, and messy. It's the way of the world; song as old as time.

Sniff keeps very quiet, his hands stretched out in front of him. He kneads the pillow. They don't speak. Not now. Etho keeps his hand firm, bearing weight on Sniff through a blanket so their pixels won't blend together, as he makes his way around cheek, neck, shoulder, and back. Sniff's filled with stagnant energy. It doesn't move fast - doesn't carry the parts that need attention towards Etho's mouth the way it should - but his tongue's doing the job the activator whisk should do. It ripples through his code. It stirs the stuff awake. That'll get him moving. Sniff gives a big, silent yawn that splays his fingertips and flicks his tongue. Then he turns his head away. His wings flex like a butterfly's and slowly fold against his back.

Etho keeps working. The mask's been dropped aside for this- It's just easier than letting it dangle at his neck. He nips with his teeth, catching strings, and fixes everything he can. There's only so much you can do with stagnant code. Most species don't eat it, but a fox can. Like the phantoms, they scavenge.

Etho takes the stuff Sniff doesn't need. He doesn't need scratches and aching muscles. He doesn't need chipped nails and dirty feet. He doesn't need the callus on his writing finger, the ink stains, or the ache between the V of two fingers. These are little add-ons (just wrinkles in the code). Etho pulls them free of soul and skin. They slip between his teeth.

Sniff drags Etho's other hand forward. Etho shifts, keeping balance. His hand's pretty neat and tidy after the week-long experience of Sniff cycling his code. Sniff nibbles at it anyway. The bits in his system that are ruffled prickle to attention and swish the messy bits forward so Sniff can gnaw the tangles away. Yeah, that's the spot. Etho thumps his tail against the bed.

Unlocking advancements feels like this. And the universe loves them, and it gave them thought without breaking the ecosystem, because it wanted them to know they're loved.

If there's an advancement for allogrooming, it's one he achieved a long, long time ago. Probably when he was just a kit. Not a lot of memories from the early days still stick with him, but he does remember Rhetoric chewing on his ear. He had fox ears back then. They used to wrestle with each other, but growing up is complicated. Sometimes you do the best you can every day of your life… and for what? Your mother will still pick you up by the scruff and drop you on the doorstep of a dragon she thinks could use you more.

He and Bdubs have that in common. Bdubs just refuses to admit it.

Oh yeah… We can't let the Slime Dragon see Sniff. She'll wanna kill him so he respawns at his mom's nest. Etho yawns. He stops messing with the code. Instead, he nestles his chin against the back of Sniff's neck. What time is it? Feels like they've been here for a thousand ticks, but it's such a blur that it could easily be half as much. It probably isn't. It can't be that long… He hasn't been called to Dog's Life yet.

Sniff chews at his fingers for a little longer, but his teeth slow too. He rests his cheek against his knuckles. Etho sweeps his tail sideways, brushing it across Sniff's back. He's warm. And without the nips and pulls, consistent collision isn't going to last. Pixels prickle. His chin starts to sink straight through.

It's familiar. But not the way you think. He never groomed Joel like this, with his mouth, except one time he had to re-open some rumpled bite marks that had sealed themselves in ridges across his shoulders. Long story there… but it's familiar because the universe told him this feels right tonight.

And it does feel right tonight. He's not gonna leave the mask off for long. Or the bandana, for that matter. He's way too exposed like this, raised blue scar curling over his eye and across his lips (all of it on display). Sniff probably feels the same way. He's still got both his shirts off. The curve of his spine's marked with a stripe. When you're this close, you can see the tiny zigzag marks where skin meshes like it's stitched. His giant scar - that big, white X - pulses with a dim, hazy glow.

Etho removes his head before he can sink any lower. He noses Sniff's cheek, then his chin. Once they're upturned, he gets back to work. A little more clipping here. A little trimming there. Making his way around. Sniff makes one soft noise like he's debating whether to squirm away. He keeps his eyes shut though, arms relaxed, and his wings stay folded up- lazy and content. Etho adds a few licks, keeping them light so he can seal the tiny gashes left behind by his teeth without startling Sniff enough to ask questions about 'what they are' again.

Funny. Last week, we did this the other way around. But he doesn't go as far as Sniff did. Tonight's about grooming, not feeding. Etho chews a knot from the back of Sniff's neck, then draws back. "Hey, Sniff, you-"

"My full name, Etho," he mumbles, not opening his eyes. "I only have one rule."

Right. Etho rasps his tongue around his lips and starts again. "SnifferMyFeet, I want to ask something."

"Mm?"

"I know we said we wouldn't be 'serious' right now. I've just been wondering if maybe, after I do recordings and Hermitcraft clean-up… If you'd want to eat my soul again?"

Sniff's fingers still against the sheets. They alternate whose turn it is to breathe, like they used to at night on The Relation or when they were testing how far they could swim without coming up for air. Spoilers: Oxygen does not transfer from one soulmate's body to another.

Then Sniff blinks himself back to full awareness. He sits up on his knees. The covers slide down his back. Hands still braced, but no longer looking cozy. The guy reaches to pinch his brow and take his folded tank top at the same time. "You… want to use my vessel? Fluff, I dunno. Can I say that? I think I can."
