PSA: Linking Gear Sets and Glam Plates
Most of you probably know about this already, but I frequently find users that aren't aware of this feature: You can actually link glams to gear sets!
Tumblr media
This is pretty handy for those with different glams for classes of the same type. There are some caveats, though: if I remember correctly this feature only works in sanctuary spaces (like Cities). Still, it may save you some time digging around before hopping on a duty!

glamour magick you can practice every day ᥫ᭡
you can use glamour magick for everything, not just beauty and love and that's why it's my favorite kind of magick
daily showers:
washing your body, your face or your hair can be such a powerful practice. enchant your soap, body wash, face wash and shampoo and use them to remove all the negative energy, any bad thoughts, insecurities, bad memories, health problems and just anything you want to get rid of. i do that by holding the tool (e.g. a bar of soap) in both of my hands and i just focus on my intention for a while. something like "this soap will wash off any negative energy that clings to me" or "this shampoo will get rid of any negative thoughts i have"
face, body and hair care:
just like you can enchant your beauty products that wash your body to remove any bad energy, you can enchant any products you're going to leave on your body to bring positive things into your life. i use my conditioner to give me confidence, i use my magical toner for beauty, love and attraction, i use body lotion and moisturizer for protection and hair oils for abundance.
mirror magick:
something as simple as looking at yourself in the mirror, repeating positive affirmations, spells and visualizing yourself as the best version of yourself can absolutely change your life. i love how confident and beautiful it makes me feel.
enchanted jewelry and perfume:
just like any beauty and skincare products, you can enchant your jewelry or your perfume and wear it. love, good luck, protection, attraction, confidence, anything you need and want!
color magick:
color magick can be a part of glamour magick too! just pick the right color behind your intention and add it to your outfit or makeup or paint your nails with that color.
hair:
i already mentioned how washing and conditioning your hair but brushing it can also be a great ritual! brush it gently and repeat your spells and affirmations. your hair easily absorbs energy, it's like a sponge. so if you give it as much love and care and positivity as possible, there will be no space left for any negativity.
those are some of my favorite, very simple glamour rituals and they all have changed my life
take care my loves! ᥫ᭡

Random ass question, but what do you think is the best way for a 4/10 girl to become at least a 7 out of 10? I’m aware that “beauty is subjective” but I’m literally below average, 4/10 is being lenient for me lol
How to have confidence in your physical appearance 🎀
Tumblr media
First of all sweetie,
let's not rate ourselves on a scale about how pretty we are! It's really degrading and I feel like you deserve so much better than that. Living in a generation where filters are oversaturated, people using AI to edit their photos, and incels with porn addictions and have never felt the touch of a woman, will call the most beautiful girl "mid". It's so understandable why one's self esteem can feel low at times. You need to change the way you talk about yourself (especially me). Beauty always start from within - as redundant as that sounds. You can't feel pretty if you're not focusing on the reason why you feel this way. A pretty soul (and self concept!) makes a prettier face. Moving on, let's get into the actual tips of a glow up 💖
Tumblr media
Let's address the elephant in the room 🐘: you're not ugly, just acting pitiful
Tumblr media
Have you ever wondered why you have seen those people who are considered "unattractive" or "unconventionallly pretty" by others be in successful relationships or popular with their peers? It's because they have confidence. Have you ever been attracted to someone that may not necessarily fit the beauty standards or be considered a jaw dropping model, but you thought they were cute anyways because of their personality or charm? That's exactly what I mean. You can be a pretty face or have a nice body, but have terrible self esteem. Living in California my whole life I come across this everyday. There is plenty of beautiful people here, but there is also a lot of people with no sense of humor and no offense, but have no personalities. In other words, you can be attractive, but superficial and boring.
To feel beautiful or more like a "10" even on your worst day is mainly having a good self concept. You need to think with the mindset of "I am the baddest bitch even on my worse days and nobody can make me feel different about that, not even me." Our concept can be changed, reshaped, rebuilt, morphed, etc, into any way we want it to be. Our self concept and dominant thoughts are created by our previous past experiences and what people have told us what we are. For example, if you were bullied in your youth and somebody picked on you for your features. Why would you give a fuck about what a bully thinks??? A person who humiliated and traumatized someone at a weak point in their life does not matter. Their opinion, their actions, their thoughts - doesn't matter. You can change yourself anytime you want, we are animals, we are literally mean to be apart of this cycle called life and our habits, attitudes, opinions, etc, can change at any moment. We are meant to grow and adapt. You get to decide who you are, what you feel, and how you wish people to perceive you. Nobody else. So when you repeatedly say things to people like "I'm not beautiful", they're gonna get tired of it honestly and be like "Yk what damn bitch I guess you are ugly!" because it gets tiring to hear someone complain about the same thing even when they just reassured them (again, I'm guilty of this too). So when you depend on someone to make you feel good about yourself, that's just codependency. You are also giving them the power to manipulate you. Don't do that. Be free and be independent, love yourself. It's your self esteem and you cannot be dependent on anybody else to fill that void you have within yourself.
As Katt Williams said, "It's the esteem of your motherfucking self!"
Why it's not your fault you don't 'feel" pretty
Tumblr media
Like I said above, you are most likely a product of your surroundings. Most people are not raised by their parents to have good self esteem or to teach them how to be confident or emotionally secure. There are many environmental factors to insecurity and that it is okay if you are never 100% feeling confident about yourself. People in the media construct this ego to seem "cool" and act conceited as a way to avoid being seen as weak to society. You can be confident and also have insecurities. Confidence is just about being secure with the essence of who you are and setting boundaries when necessary with other people when it comes to that. A confident person doesn't tolerate disrespect.
"Conceited" or confident?: how to avoid confusing the two
Tumblr media
I think the most irritating thing to me that is normalized these days is narcissism and conceited people. People will literally act boastful and cocky then say "I'm just confident". Behaving like a narcissist or saying that you are one is not cute and never will be because it's literally a personality disorder, a mental health condition. Everytime I hear this it makes me want to roll my eyes so far back into my head. Try to avoid being this person with a "God complex" because there's a difference between a person who is being loud and fake with "confidence". A real confident person makes moves in silence and is genuine with themselves. If you have to brag or put another person down to feel like hot shit, then you're not a confident person, period.
Tips to enhance your beauty
Tumblr media
As I said before anon you are already a 10 in my eyes, but I understand how it feels to not feel pretty at times and we all have our days when we are looking "rough". Here are some self care tips I do that helps me feel pretty and pampered physically ✨️
Get some beauty sleep! This is not just a saying. When your body has time to rest it gives you time to reset & have more energy for the next day. Getting plenty of sleep helps prevent dark circles & puffy eyes as well. If you struggle with falling asleep spray lavender pillow spray, drink tea, or play asmr/soothing sounds.
Skincare & hygiene, this is such a crucial step that everyone should practice in their daily lives. All of us have different skin textures and when we neglect our skin it causes a dry, oily, or bumpy surfaces. Now skin texture is totally normal but if you notice the days where you are not washing your face frequently enough, your skin either looks dull, dirty, or you experience more pimples / acne breakouts. Not to mention how dirty we feel when our body is projecting a certain odor. You don't need to have an extravagant routine, but at least try to have about 4 hygienic products (soap, deodorant, lotion, & body spray/prrfume) and 4 skincare products (facial cleanser (I recommend double cleansing!), serum, SPF/Sunscreen, & face lotion).
Mirror work, saying affirmations in the mirror has proven to be helpful for people's self esteem & feeling more confident with their physical appearance.
Change your wardrobe! Start dressing for your body type & how your ideal self would. It might feel uncomfortable at first but you will feel so much more beautiful! You could try finding videos on tiktok of people with your body type to help (for example, if you are plus sized, you could search your desired aesthetic & find people with the same shape as you).
Detox from social media 📱, learn when it is time to take a break from your phone & engage with the real world. Scrolling for hours on your phone can be really harmful especially if you're reading negative comments or watching videos that are self depreciating.
Follow people who uplift you, not tear you down. If you are following people who obviously are negative or affect your self esteem somehow, then you do not need to be supporting them.
Make appointments! Whether that is a doctor appointment or lash, nail, or hair appointments. Take care of your mind, health, and body. You could ask your doctor what vitamins you should take or also seek a counselor/therapist to find the root of your insecurities in a safe place. Also sometimes just getting my hair or nails done makes me feel more confident!
Learn to treat yourself. Buy yourself flowers or a gift you always wanted but never received. This could be anything, it doesn't necessarily mean to spend money. For example, cooking your favorite food, having a lazy day, etc. Remember that you deserve to be happy!
Lastly, beauty spells, glamour magick, and manifestation are popular methods for people who wish to enhance their physical appearance. I do all of these myself and I always feel so hot afterwards!
Tumblr media
I hope you found these tips helpful beautiful ♡!

Witch Tip No. 29
Don't like makeup but still want to enchant something for glamour like you would makeup? Use your skincare instead.
For example, instead of enchanting foundation, enchant your moisturizer/face cream, use lip balm instead of lipstick, or eye cream instead of eyeshadow. To increase the effects try looking for products that have ingredients or ingredient names that correspond to your particular glamour.
Note: Always make sure the product works well with your skin!

Charging & enchanting Jewelry
This is something I recently began doing when I decided to begin my journey to becoming my Highest Version. So get whatever jewelry you have and wear, I use rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets (can be those cute friendship ones) and I just smoke cleanse it. I'm not picky on the incense, I use traditional ones from my religion, I use eucalyptus. Anything really. Smoke cleanse it and find a dish or a plate or anything to keep it on. I have repurposed an ashtray that I cleaned and cleansed. then after that, I get each jewelry one by one, place it on the palm of my hand and cover it my other hand. I visualize and think on what I want to charge and enchant this jewelry with. In my case, I charged it with confidence and beauty, the feeling of confidence and the feeling you get when someone compliments you. I charged it and visualized that energy surrounding and coating the jewelry. Do this one by one you're done.
The dish I place on my altar and every evening after a day of using my jewelry, I place it back in there to recharge. And when I tell you this works! I've gotten such a confidence boost. I used to be terrified of telling restaurant waiters to cancel orders or that they got my order wrong (simple things but effective), I used to have horrible social anxiety. But once I began charging my jewelry, I was able to speak out, speak in public. I actually impulsively decided to enter a poetry contest without realizing that I had to read it out loud to the judges. I was terrified but I managed to do it! The giddiness that rushes in you after doing something you never you thought you could is amazing!

Tips to look old hollywood glamorous?
Establish a wardrobe curated with timeless, figure-flattering styles in luxurious fabrics like silk, satin, lace, (faux) fur, (vegan) leather, velvet, jacquard, sequins, fringe, etc.
Accessorize with glitzy, eye-catching accessories, including pearls, crystal, diamonds, and gold button accents on your jewelry, handbags, shoes, and sunglasses, or as details on your outerwear, dress, or other garments.
Incorporate embellished pieces & elements into your ensembles – elevated buttons (pearls, crystals, gold, engravements, etc.), opulent trims on the cuffs, hems, lapels, collars, and cold-weather accessories (faux fur, pearl, sequined, lamé, etc.)
Show some skin while leaving something to the imagination. Finding a balance between covering up and sex appeal is at the crux of the Old Hollywood glamour aesthetic. Try a backless halter dress with a longer hemline or a similar style top with wide-leg trousers or a silk maxi skirt. Select a bodycon mini dress with sleeves and a high neck. The options are endless when it comes to silhouette pairings and proportions.
Refine your hairstyle and nails. Opt for sleek, detail-orient haircuts with a blunt-cut, layered lob, elegant chest-length waves, or a similar haircut that offers either a sleek or well-kept tousled aesthetic. Opt for a classic nail shape (square, round, almond, squoval [square/round hybrid], or ballerina) with a timeless solid nail color (light pink, nude, beige, bright red, dark red, French tips, burgundy, dark purple, etc.).
Keep your makeup simple, shimmery, and vampy. Focus on achieving healthy, supple, and naturally glowy skin with some highlighter on the tops of your cheekbones, the inner corners of your eyes, under the arch of your brows, the tip of your nose, and Cupid's bow. Maintain well-groomed, defined, and filled-in brows. Embrace a natural or light brown eye with winged black eyeliner, definition on the waterline/tight line (inner eyeliner), and long, voluminous black lashes. Complete the look with a rosy blush, soft contour, and a satin finish or matte lipstick in a bold red, wine, plum, or dark neutral (pink beige, deep rose, etc.) shade.

Glamour 101: Prisms, Dresser, Armoire, and Plates
Tumblr media
Welcome to the dazzling world of glamour, also known as the True End Game! There's a vast array of glamorous outfits, accessories, and weapons at your disposal, but the system could benefit from slightly better explanations - so let's explore the available resources and learn some tips about it!
Prerequisites
Before we can get started, make sure you finish the quest 'Absolutely Glamourous' and its following quest 'If I Had a Glamour', both from Swyrgeim (Western Thanalan, X: 12.6 Y: 14.3).
Tumblr media
Tip: Make sure you finish 'Color Your World' and 'Simply to Dye For' as well since it'll unlock the capability to dye items!
Glamour Catalysts
Glamour Prisms are items used to apply the appearance of one piece of gear to another without affecting its stats, while Glamour Dispellers can be used to remove the glamour applied to a piece of gear; this is useful when you want to revert to an item's original appearance.
Tumblr media
Tip: You can find Prisms and Dispellers in the Market Board, but Dispellers are usually cheaper if buy directly from NPCs while Prisms can be crafted, traded for tokens, or given as quest rewards.
Basic Glamour Usage
The process is pretty straightforward: Right-click the item in your inventory, the Character Panel, or armoire (amongst other places) to open its context menu:
Tumblr media
For each operation, a Glamour Prism will be consumed; to remove the glamour, follow the same sequence but select 'Remove' (a Glamour Dispeller will be consumed instead.)
Done like that, the process can be messy and expensive, since every item needs to be glamoured individually and each action will consume a Prism.
So now it's time to talk about...
The Glamour Dresser
The Glamour Dresser can be found in inn rooms across Eorzea and serves as storage for gear that you want to use for glamour purposes. The process to store an item is fairly simple:
Tumblr media
Now, there are three great advantages to using the Dresser instead of directly applying glamours:
It saves inventory space since the item is stored elsewhere
Only one Prism is consumed (when you store the item) - you can then use the appearance of stored items at no extra cost, and
It preserves applied dyes, so you can save a lot of Gil simply by applying expensive dyes to the stored item once.
But there's an even better usage of the Dresser, and that's the...
Glamour Plates
NOW we're talking! Glamour plates are limited in number, but can represent a full gear set (together with accessories); you can also apply dyes directly to the plate items, or use the color the stored item was dyed with.
Clicking on an item slot switches the Dresser view to that item's category:
Tumblr media
Clicking on Save preserves the full set, and Apply copies the whole set appearance to your current set (if applicable) - again, without using any Glamour Prisms!
You can also bring up the Plates Window directly from the Character Panel, by clicking the Glamour Plate button:
Tumblr media
Oh, and another thing: You can directly link armor sets to glam plates!
But what about the Armoire?
The Armoire is... complicated. Only certain items can be stored there, and stored items lose any dyes applied to them. Sometimes that's not a deal breaker, but you probably don't want to store something dyed Jet Black there.
I hope this little walkthrough helps clear out some of the confusion around this (somewhat convoluted but greatly useful) system. Let me know if you have any questions, and - again - welcome to the end game!

⛤Glamour Magic Daily Routine⛤
Here are some tips on how to include glamour magic in your daily life!
Visualise the water washing away all the negativity when you shower
Say affirmation when doing your skincare
Use moon water to cleanse
Spray bedding with perfume
Enchanting your mirrors to improve the self image of anyone who looks in them
Enchant your jewellery for protection/confidence
Use correspondences in your skincare routine: do you use coconut oil? Maybe a rose face mist? All those products can be given a deeper meaning in your daily life!
Match the colours of your makeup to your intentions for the day
Enchant your nail polish (bonus: match the colour to the intention, black for protection, red for love, green for prosperity, etc)
Choose a perfume that inspires you for the day
Charge your perfume with the energy you wish to attract
Put sigils in your shoes
Some witches veil to keep their energy from draining and to protect them from others’ emotions, but a beanie works too
If you wear glasses, use them as a tool so that they help you “see clearly”
Put your moisturiser or concealer on in the shape of a sigil before massaging it in
Write sigils on your makeup products, even putting lip balm on could help you mentally throughout the day!
When shaving, visualise any energy buildup being shaved off as well
Remember to love yourself
Witchfully Yours,
⛤Isidora⛤

How I enchant Jewelry ✨
Like the title says, this is a little step-by-step on how I like to approach enchanting jewelry!
1. Decide on the piece you're using and cleanse if necessary (probably recommended). I like to bury it in salt for a while or use holy/moon water.
2. If you're asking for a specific entity's help, I like to light a candle in their honor and possibly leave an additional offering (especially if asking for a big effect). If not, just light a candle for some additional assistance from the fire's energy!
3. Create a designated space to place the jewelry on. I think of it as offering the jewelry for a small amount of time (like leaving it overnight) in order to ask for help enchanting it.
4. Adorn the jewelry with corresponding dressings or pieces of the offering (ex.: herb/flower petals, oils, put crystals on it). If not offering to a specific entity, use corresponding materials with the effect you'd like to achieve (ex.: lavender for tranquility, rose for glamor, etc)
5. You can also leave written intentions with the jewelry along with your offerings! This will help focus your mind on the goal as you wear it, as well as strengthen the intention of the working.
6. Leave it! Let it sit as you reflect and allow time for your offering to be accepted. I like to do overnight so I can feel ready to tackle the day with the newly enchanted jewelry.
7. Wear it! ✨
This is just how I like to do it- add or remove whatever works for you!
