Building A GW2 Pride Flag Round 3!

Hello again! It's very early this year, I know, but I wanted to try and give myself and everyone that wants to take part more time!

This year I will doing the original 8 stripe pride flag! (Thank you to everyone that voted to help me decide!)

I'll explain how this works just as a reminder and for anyone new that wants to take part!

This flag will be made up of all your lovely characters! All you have to do is reblog the colour post that you think suits them best and add a screenshot of them, and I will take it from there!

The first year I did this I got 170 characters, last year was 214! I would love to get even more characters this year!

If you've submitted a character previously and would like me to use that screenshot again, please let me know!!

I will be running this for as long as I possibly can, and I will be sure to make multiple posts about when I will be closing submissions.

A little extra info under the cut about what kind of screens to send!

Screens like these work great! They show off your character and the contrast helps me see where to cut out!

Animations from emotes or skills can add a lot so I would love to see screens using them!

The second one is a glitch screenshot but screens where your character is far away or really small don't work very well! It can make it harder to get them clear on the flag without ruining their quality.

Using the adjust to character height option can help massively for getting screenshots of asura!

DON'T FEEL LIKE YOU CAN'T TAKE PART IF YOUR COMPUTER CAN'T HANDLE HIGHER GRAPHICS!

⌲ A for Active (Are they active in class?)

neteyam: Yeah, but he really does his best not to seem like too much of a teacher’s pet or a tryhard. He constantly raises his hand to answer and asks questions, and the teachers love him for this. One time he was the kid that reminded the teacher about the homework; needless to say he got a lot of tomatoes thrown at him that day.

kiri: Yes, but by active I mean actively debates with teachers. She will not be afraid to point out something politically or literally wrong that the teachers say, and if they fight back, she will not hesitate to put them in their place. Watch any teacher be openly homophobic while she’s present and they’re gonna get it.

lo'ak: Yes and no. He’s the type of kid to sit by the window and peer out into the sky while not listening to the teacher at all, cause he’s having his main character moment. But he’s ALSO the type of kid to doodle all over the table in permanent marker, and when the teacher says anything remotely related to a joke (peanuts, walnuts, nuts, your mom, getting milk) he’ll point it out and say jokes and turn the whole class laughing and alert in a matter of seconds cause he said something about it. Or he’ll ask stupid questions to stall time. Either way he’s not doing the teachers any favours.

ao'nung: You’d be having a conversation with him by whispering and then the teacher would call on him to answer, and you know what he does?? He answers it PERFECTLY. Nobody knows how he does it. NOBODY KNOWS. This has happened so many times that all the teachers don’t even bother cause they know he’s listening somehow. In short he will only answer questions if called on and in case he needs to ask a question he just sends an e-mail after school, he never speaks voluntarily in class.

rotxo: Bro asks a lot of questions, always raising his hand and asking stupid stuff like Lo’ak but not even on purpose, he’s just oblivious. “Should we use a pen or pencil?” “Can I drink some water?” “Is blue ink okay?” “Can I just type this out on my laptop?” “Ms, do you like dogs?” “Oh. How about ca-” the teachers are sick of him but they don’t do anything about it cause they know he’s just unaware. They do appreciate him when the class is way too silent though. But not all the time.

tsireya: This girl is the sweetest. She raises her hand if the teacher asks a question but nobody answers, because she feels bad for them. In case you want to ask a question but are too shy or uncomfortable you can just send her a little paper note and she’ll ask the question for you! The teachers love her, and they all know her name, even the ones that have never taught her before.

⌲ B for Born For This (Which subject are they best at and most interested in?)

neteyam: He is a master of physics, and he loves it. He will dominate any physics group, always taking the lead and more often than not, doing 90% of the work even if his teammates aren’t lazy. He knows every formula out of the top of his head and consistently gets A+’s every physics assignment. If you aren’t good at physics, find him and be his group partner.

kiri: Interestingly enough, rather than biology, I think she’d love philosophy. She’d be the type of person to ponder really hard about her existence and the existence of others, and if anything was even real. She also loves to mess with people (and the teachers).

“Kiri, why didn’t you submit this assignment?”

“I did.”

“Well I’m not seeing it anywhere.”

“Maybe you’re not seeing anything at all.”

“What?”

“What is ‘anywhere’ to you?”

“...”

“You aren’t seeing it anywhere because ‘anywhere’ doesn’t exist.”

“That doesn’t make sense.”

“And the concept of ‘anywhere’ does?”

“...”

“Oh and you’re sitting on it.”

The teacher will look under themself and literally find it, and when they look up she’s nowhere to be seen.

lo'ak: We have 2 options. Either theatre or band, but I think he’d lean more into being the cool guitar guy in a band. He would shred really well and he knows all the chords, he can play any song with just 10 minutes of experimenting and he would write his own songs (some of them dedicated to….a special someone). And for theatre he’d be more into funny little school dramas rather than plays like Hamilton or Beetlejuice.

ao'nung: This guy is an insane math genius. He doesn’t even actually pay attention to the math lesson, he just listens for the first 5-10 minutes of explanation and boom he understands everything perfectly. Anyone would swear he has like a calculator built into his head with how freakishly speedy he is at calculating things.

“Does anyone know what 67 x 23 i-”

“1541.”

“How did you-” “It’s so easy??”

HE IS A MENACE. Don’t even bother doing your taxes just call Ao’nung (and give him 5 bucks) he’ll have it done in 30 minutes or less. The teachers keep trying to get him to join the math club but he keeps declining, insisting that he already knows what his passion is.

rotxo: He gives major literature vibes. Either that or he’d be really good at multiple languages (he learned 4 to impress 4 different girls that all rejected him). He’s really good with his words and never has any grammar mistakes, he knows the meaning of every word and every phrase. Dictionary who? Oh, and he likes poetry but he keeps it a secret from everyone (only Ao’nung, Tsireya, and Kiri know about it).

tsireya: Now THIS is a Hamilton girlie. Like Lo’ak, she’d be really into theatre or band as in the singer. Her voice is angelic and literally would enrapture everyone’s attention with the first note she sings. She is shy with it though, but Lo’ak is her designated hype man, constantly telling her how good she is at singing and encouraging her to be more confident (so sweet). One time they sang a little duet of an original song Lo’ak wrote and it blew up on YouTube getting like 1.7 million likes. If you ask them where the video is now they’ll say that Lo’ak’s little sister deleted it for her slime asmr youtube channel.

⌲ C for Coolness Scale (If you asked everyone in the school to rate how cool they were on a scale from 0-10, what would they get?)

neteyam: 0.1/10. Nobody considers him “cool”, he’s the golden boy of the school but not like Ao’nung. He’s perfect, but not cool. Kind, but never cool. You asked Lo’ak and he immediately gave his brother a 0 without second thought. Kiri gave him a 1 because she felt bad. Ao’nung also immediately said 0. Tsireya felt too bad to answer the question (cause she knows he’s not cool) and said “whatever Lo’ak said” because she expected him to rate him higher. He didn’t. Rotxo said “whatever Ao’nung said.” and he KNEW he gave him a 0.

kiri: A solid 6/10. Everyone thinks she’s funny, and a bunch of girls gave her a 10 because….👀 Anyways, she mostly keeps to herself and has the most neutral face ever by default, nobody really knows her except for her brothers and Tsireya + Rotxo (Ao’nung is an honourable mention since he knows stuff about her from Tsireya and Rotxo), so everyone thinks she’s the mysterious type when in reality she just keeps her personality to herself and her friends cause “nobody asked”.

lo'ak: 3.5/10. He’s funny and chill but tries to be cool but he isn’t. Tsireya gave him a 9, Neteyam gave him a 2, Ao’nung a 0, Rotxo a 0, Kiri a 0.5. Everyone else gave him 3’s or 4’s cause they appreciate the effort but he’s not cool he’s more of a funny guy.

ao'nung: 9.8/10. Everyone likes him, literally everyone. He’s super popular and all the girls (and some guys) swoon over him whenever he walks past them in the halls, wherever he sits there's bound to be people asking him stuff and wishing him good luck for his games. He’s cool with all the guys, super cool with the girls. He doesn’t like to play with anyone’s feelings so he hasn’t dated anyone yet (his mom raised him right fr). He does have a cocky side to him which he only shows if he knows the other person won’t take it seriously (so literally basically everyone). Even Lo’ak and Neteyam gave him 9��s. The only reason it’s at a 9.8 is because Kiri gave him a 0.

rotxo: I swear if you ask anyone about him they’d be like ‘Who? Oh the guy that hangs around Ao’nung.’ you would have to give up cause too many people would say “who” or “idk”, poor guy. Ao’nung gave him a 10 but you would ask him last cause of what happened with Tsireya (rigged). He’d get a 7/10 but the only voters were Neteyam, Lo’ak, Kiri, Tsireya and Ao’nung.

tsireya: A 10. But how? Ao’nung is the school’s golden boy and she’s the golden girl, but she’s not cool. Realistically she’d get something like a 2. Like Neteyam, she’s super sweet and kind but she’s not cool. Lo’ak was biased and gave her a 10. But here’s the thing; Ao’nung gave her a 10. So naturally….everyone else gave her a 10.

⌲ D for Diligence (Do they submit their assignments early or late?)

neteyam: Super diligent, he’ll submit any assignment as soon as possible. He never clicks on different browsers when there’s an assignment due by the end of the class + he types really fast like it’s insane (his wpm is 369).

kiri: She is literally UNHINGED. If an assignment is due 6.00pm on a wednesday she’ll submit it at 5.59.59pm on a wednesday. Doesn’t matter when the assignment is due, she’ll always submit it like either a second before or directly on time of when it’s due. If school is closed on the due date (like it’s a saturday or sunday) she’ll submit it on Friday right before that teacher goes home. She knows when they go home. Not even on their desk, It’ll be waiting for them in their bag/car. Unhinged.

lo'ak: Assignment? what assignment? It’s all late. LATE. But not like days late, they’re always max 3 days late. He’s not that irresponsible, sometimes he just forgets. He does care about his grades, he’s trying his best. One time he submitted it like 2 minutes late and sent a whole 10 paragraph email to the teacher begging them to not take points off just this one time. They did, thankfully.

ao'nung: He submits them a day before. He procrastinates a lot but he always manages to get everything done in time. Has never submitted an assignment late before.

rotxo: He too hasn’t ever submitted an assignment late, but he always submits his assignments at the most UNGODLIEST of hours. He would submit it on the day of but at like 3.33am for no reason. His teachers are very concerned about his health.

tsireya: Diligent like Neteyam but very relaxed, she does her assignments on her own time. She’ll submit it like 2-3 days before.

⌲ E for Extracurricular (What clubs/team are they in?)

neteyam: Oddly enough, he’s on the swim team, and he’s a hella good swimmer. I just think it makes sense, like just think about neteyam in the swim team. Just think about it. If not swim then he’d be part of the Student Council, like the secretary or something. Maybe both, who knows.

kiri: 100% a member of debate more than anything. She just loves using her intellect to fight people, and you gotta respect that. She’s also vice president of the student council, being much more intimidating than the actual president.

lo'ak: TRACK TEAM. Boy he can RUN, he’s super nimble on his feet and the coaches consider him a blessing from heaven. He has a really good stamina and great endurance, he could run for hours if he really tried. If you ever anger him by talking crap about his family or Tsireya, find a really good hiding spot because you cannot outrun this man.

ao'nung: Captain of the basketball team. Like come on. He loves basketball, it’s his life and he wants to become a professional athlete. He’s willing to do whatever it takes. Oh and he’s treasurer of the student council, just because the president thought he’d be perfect for the job.

rotxo: Newspaper team. He’s great with words and he’s everywhere like an NPC, making him the perfect guy to take photos of literally anything. He definitely has his own column in the school newspaper where you can ask for advice in his anonymous email and he’ll respond in the newspaper (his fake name is Tory).

tsireya: President of the student council. She knows exactly what the school needs and she provides it, the activities/festivals/events she plans are always the bomb and everyone supports her as the president. She’s super nice and is too afraid to get mad at anyone, so Kiri or Ao’nung will do it for her. She is not afraid to show her disappointment with a sharp glare, however, which would literally destroy the heart of any troublemaker trying to ruin any school festivities.

⌲ F for F#?@!!! (Do they swear at school?)

neteyam: No

kiri: Won’t swear at anyone (except for Ao’nung) but does whisper profanity under her breath if she’s stressed out or something. Constantly pulls the middle finger at her brothers (more often at Lo'ak) and Ao’nung though.

lo'ak: Yes, definitely not around teachers but yes, but he’s started to calm it down after Tsireya confronted him about it.

ao'nung: No

rotxo: Once. He was sitting a test in Economics one day and he yelled “F#?!” out of nowhere, got up from his seat and walked out the door. Ao’nung was confused as hell. Being the good friend he was, he snatched Rotxo’s abandoned paper when the teacher wasn’t looking and finished it for him, with a few different answers from his to avoid suspicion, letting him get a B- rather than an F.

tsireya: No

⌲ G for Girl/Guy Magnet (Do they attract more boys or more ladies?)

neteyam: Definitely the girls, they like him cause he’s the soft stoic type and a gentleman. The girls that aren’t into Ao’nung are definitely into Neteyam. He’s super nice and one time he helped a girl pick up her fallen books. That day she fell in love.

kiri: Both. She’s so chill with it and super sarcastic and funny which definitely earns her points in both departments. The guys enjoy her presence, they think she’s different cause her way of messaging is like a guy which confuses them at first but then they really enjoy texting her for no reason (annoys her to hell tbh), leave the woman alone. But if it was a GIRL texting Kiri, she’d have no problem rizzing them up subtly.

lo'ak: Not a magnet at all. And he wouldn’t have it any other way. He bagged a beautiful, gorgeous, kind, loyal, honest, funny girl and he’s not interested in anyone else.

ao'nung: Both. Be so fr. He’s nice but also likes to tease people, he’s funny and confident and hot. And he works out and he’s smart which is like damn how many blessings did Eywa give him? Both girls and boys adore him a lot and look up to him, but he always lets people down gently.

rotxo: Also not a magnet. It’s not like he’s unattractive or anything, but always sits next to Ao’nung or hangs next to Kiri which ultimately takes the attention completely away from him. But he’s alright with it, he already has someone in mind which he’s already close to.

tsireya: Both. Need I say more? She’s literally a mix of Neteyam and Ao’nung (NOT IN THAT WAY) and she always enjoys taking care of herself and she has an impeccable taste in fashion, earning her extra extra bonus points. She would have received like three dozen love letters by now if it weren’t for her older brother, always making sure she’s safe from stupid boys who might break her heart. He may have forgotten about Lo'ak though, but as long as he doesn't hurt her everything will be fine.

The beach isn't exactly like what you've seen in the films, but it's not too far off, either. The boys are messing about somewhere, throwing something around or doing handstands or whatever boys do when they want to amuse themselves and show off at the same time. You've perched yourself on a perfectly nice bench looking out at where the rocks turn to sand turn to ocean.

As far as a day with you boyfriend and his friends go, it hasn't been bad. The sun has been out but it's not been too hot and James bought you a 99 and then another when someone bumped into you and you dropped it. You can still taste the sweetness of his kiss when he laughed at your shock.

You lean on the bench and tilt your head back to enjoy some more sunshine. Life, when it slows down like this, can really be quite lovely.

You hear James before you open your eyes.

"No, don't step on it you idiots! Go around it, it's not that hard."

His voice grows louder and you hear his soft chuckle once he gets close. "Are you sleeping, love?" he asks.

You open one eye. He's standing there with his hand on his hips, his shirt unbuttoned at least two buttons too many to be considered decent, his pants rolled up to his mid-calves. His shoes are nowhere to be seen and he looks windswept and beautiful, eyes bright behind his dirty glasses.

"What if I was?" you say. He scoffs and reaches for you, tugging you up and into his arms with a groan.

"Take off your shoes, please."

You frown at him. "I don't want to get sandy, James." It's no use -- he turns on the puppy eyes. He's a little shit and he knows you'll do as he asks like this.

So you toe off your shoes and socks and he gallantly grabs them from you and tugs you towards where his are lined up next to what you can only assume is the rest of the boys' shit.

"Now, close your eyes." You sigh and obey. He grabs both of your hands and leads you over the sand. You can hear the other boys jeering in the background.

"Are you about to propose to me, James?" you joke. That's a someday thing and you both know it, so he better say no.

"No," he says, sounding a bit offended. "You think I'm going to propose to you in front of these tossers?"

"Hey!" Sirius yells. James ignores him and turns you around a little bit, then stands behind you with his arms around you and his chin on your shoulder.

"Okay, look, please." You open your eyes and blink in the sunlight. On the sand in front of you James seems to have written your names in a heart with a whole bunch of shells and plants and rocks from the beach decorated around it.

You laugh, delighted. "You spent all the time I was over there alone doing this?" How did you not notice?

James can hear that you're pleased, even if you think it's a little silly. He kisses your cheek sloppily. "You know me, darling. I've got to have something to do or I'll go nuts. And staring at you looking so pretty over there was getting a bit too obvious."

"The tide is just going to wash it away," you say, sounding a bit sad. You wish you had a camera to take a photo of it.

James shrugs and you feel it more than see it. "S'okay," he says. "It was worth it for the way you laughed." You roll your eyes and turn in his arms.

"Flirt," you say. He grins, his dimple begging to be kissed, so you do.

"You love it!"

a guide how to not f*ck over your writers

hello, i am joining the bandwagon with my own two cents on how tumblr interactions have gone from shit to lower shit.

first of all, let me just stress how much i appreciate readers who interact with fanfics. you guys are the true mvp's and i applaud you for doing god's work. (also let's be real a significant portion of those readers are fic writers themselves).

second of all, i want to say that i'm not trying to be “ungrateful” or sound like a prick, i just see so many writers leave this site because they feel unappreciated, alone or they think that nobody enjoys the fics they work hard on.

honestly, there were/are times where i think if this is even worth it. i get so much enjoyment from this, it's a hobby that allows me to be creative, to escape reality and have a little fun. yet i feel like what i'm doing is just good for nothing since it seems like people are allergic to me on this site.

it truly means a lot to us when you guys interact. it doesn't even have to be much, just a short comment, but it can still make our day

now onto the ways you can support your fave writers:

1. interact with the fics -- comment, reblog, send asks. trust me, you can't go wrong with this one. don't be afraid to send an incoherent wordspill or type out that essay in caps lock where you go nuts about your favorite scenes, comment on the characters and their development or compliment the author's writing style. again, i guarantee you'll receive answers that are similarly incoherent as the author tries to not lose their shit bcs what the fuck? someone is finally interacting with my stories

2. recommendations -- you can rec fics to networks for various events, send your recs to your moots or maybe even to fic rec accounts who accept recommendations. even by reblogging - you're already basically doing this. it can make our day when we see that someone recommended something we worked on to someone else :)

3. interaction -- usually, most authors on here wouldn't mind more asks that don't even have to be about fics. you can ask how their day was, talk to them about a favorite book/movie/song literally whatever. i feel like i don't really have much to say on this topic cause i don't really get these types of asks :} but yeah, i think most of us would feel really touched if people wanted to talk to us outside of our writings. note: if you're shy, you can go on anon :> it's there for a reason :P

4. criticism -- now be careful - this one is tricky. you should first make sure if the person is okay with you giving some constructive criticism. if it isn't mentioned anywhere on their page/at the bottom of their fic, just ask. i for one wouldn't mind hearing things like “just a suggestion but i think you could work on your descriptions more” or “be careful - you often use the same words in one paragraph” etc.

as for request guidelines, i haven't got anything set out yet really. my fav characters are gale, halsin, rolan and dammon, and they're the characters i feel most comfortable writing for, but im happy to try writing for anyone! nsfw/sfw prompts are all fine. there's some stuff i probably wouldn't be comfy writing but in all honesty if i get a request like that i just won't write it, im not in the business of judging what people are into ive literally written like 3 breeding kink fics in the last week lol.

basically, if you have a request you can be as specific or vague as you like. if it's vague i'll fill in the gaps myself, but if you're specific ill do my best to stick to it as well as i can. i'll get round to writing out some proper request guidelines soon, i honestly wasn't expecting so many people to want to request stuff so i didn't prepare anything!!

ACCEPTING PROMPTS

Hey all, long time no see. It’s been a while since I updated anything and I feel bad leaving for so long. The reasons for this are:

1) I ran out of time to work on it and when I had time I was doing other things. I just lost my job but was previously working 40+ hours a week and running errands on weekends. I was physically and mentally exhausted.

2) What is motivation anymore? Seriously, I’d sit down to work on my WIPs and end up reading on my phone instead until I had to go to sleep.

3) I’m kinda stuck on how to proceed with The New World Orders. Some people have pointed out that I’ve fallen into the “woah is me,” “problematic main character,” trope and I agree. But I also don’t know how to fix it 😂. I have no idea how to finish writing it. Like I know where I’m going with the story and I have everything planned out (like really planned out. Talking my Tism and Hyper-focused obsessiveness made me create a whole ass family tree with personalities and houses and a bunch of other shit for this gen and the next two gens and going back like 4. I seriously have a tree website with 3,000 people on it all for this story. It’s nuts. I have no intention of going into past generations in this and I won’t be expanding past their kids but the fact that my brain could pull that shit and can’t write the next chapter is scary and fucking annoying at the same time). Where I was going with that tangent is I have the big picture, but it’s the individual chapters that are messing me up.

So, having said that, I am obviously in a bit of a slump. I haven’t written anything in what feels like ages and I need to do something a little smaller scaled to get back into things. I will eventually finish my WIP - I have no idea when but I will do it or be damned 😠 ✊🏻👊🏻. I am taking requests right now for one shots. Here’s the specs if you’re interested;

First and foremost, this blog is for fun! Any and all ideas about the card sets and their lore, backgrounds, or worlds are accepted, as long as they abide by some simple rules!

No sexual content. Even in sets/aus where the characters may be adults. Neither mod is comfortable with this. This includes anything hinting at incest or pedophilia, even if in a backstory context. Again, neither of us are comfortable with this.

Nothing that amounts to "Mizuki is a guy/isn't trans". These will be rejected immediately. Other characters you can send in card-related gender headcanons, but we're not going to erase Mizuki's identity.

No submissions that attack other submissions to try to disprove them or insist yours is better. We want this to remain a fun and creative space.

No submissions that attack certain ships or pairings. As long as the ships aren't incestuous or have an age gap, they are all welcome.

For the sake of not starting discourse and arguments, please no submissions about the sets from Revival my dream or Island Panic. We, again, want this to remain a fun space, and discourse about these sets is not something we want to have to handle.

We can deny any submissions we otherwise do not feel comfortable with. If they're sent in off anon, we may answer it privately with an explanation as to why we won't accept it, and we will try to be transparent about why your submission wasn't accepted.

These guidelines can be, and likely will be amended in the future.

hello on this day of nice asks i would like to ask about the love of my life aishwarya. how did you come up with her, misc trivia (what’s her favorite ice cream flavor, what dish is her absolute weakness, what kinds of books does she love) things you’re going to include in the series and things you’re not i want to know everything pls

oh my god i could go on for ages about her, i love aishu to pieces. i have an entire "aishu begins" style fic in the works, but i am happy to feed you until i finish that one (which wont be for a while lmao)

okay aishwarya rajesh is a heavy combination of people i know in my life, and some of my own personality traits thrown in there. there's a lot to be said about the lack of queer poc/brown women in hollywood, and that was definitely a driving factor of in the creation of her character. she was originally someone i would just write these little scenarios about in the margins of my notebook, going as far back as my freshman year of high school with a couple of other OCs.

ironically, i've always had the same face claim and profession for aish - anupama parameswaran (who is absolutely stunning btw) and paramedic. She evolved as I did, fleshing out into a fully fleshed character over the years.

when i restarted lone star and started engaging in the fandom, i realized that this was a safe space for this character i had shaped into someone i loved so dearly.

anyway enough about how i created her <3

favorite ice cream flavor: has to be haagen-dazs coffee-chip or talenti's chocolate peanut butter cup gelato. she's literally obsessed with chocolate and peanut butter, it's a sureshot way of getting you to forgive her.

favorite dish: aloo paratha, oh my god it's pani puri. whenever tk and carlos did something really stupid, they'd go begging Aparna to help them make aloo paratha so she'd forgive them. once carlos started picking up cooking, carlos started making it himself, picking up so many other recipes. it's a bonding thing for the trio now, where they all go to one of the three houses and make one of aparna's recipes. they absolutely carry this into their adult life, and it's one of aishwarya's favorite traditions that was carried from their childhood.

books she loves: crime thrillers. she's obsessed with them, she thinks there's so goddamn interesting, and she will make carlos read them with her and send him her insane theories (she's right almost 95% percent of the time and it drives carlos nuts) (he doesn't know she reads ahead and actually knows how it ends, and she just likes his reaction) (tk does know this and watches the chaos unfold with his cider every. single. time.)

okay so i've alluded to an aish/iris relationship before, but never really discussed anything, buuuut aish's got an ex-boyfriend, rahul. thye broke up on good terms because rahul realized aish was in love with iris but wasn't ready to confront it yet. they stayed friends and i have not decided yet, but i think they hooked up on and off throughout college, after which iris and aish reconnect again romantically (they do repair their friendship, but they both wanted more)

i'm cutting myself off, because i could tak about her for hours and still have more to share. she's so special to me.

oof this is a hard thing to answer. i want to say i already know myself pretty well, which is weird because i'm young (only turning 20 in may) and i've never been a risk-taker in my life and prefer to avoid danger and/or any risk of failure at all. so i think writing makes me create possible scenarios that can go wrong in everyone's journey - abuse, trauma, hurt/comfort, that kind of thing. i love being prepared for everything, and writing helps me navigate through the trainwreck in general

🎉how often do you celebrate completing & posting a work? how often do you give yourself the credit/validation that you seek from others when you post? (if you don't, you should!)

lmao i'm usually just happy it's over tbh. if anything i feel like i'm often too rewarding to myself with how much i post, because so many writers post every other week and it takes me half a year to write a complete piece, no matter if i enjoy it or not. my writing simply isn't good enough to celebrate, i'm (relatively) new to writing big projects and drabbles don't have that same value for me as the long works do. besides, i'm not a native speaker, my grammar is messed up, it's nothing to gloat about, not now anyway. so i guess i just don't ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

you don't have to worry about step by step. it's just not your show. as a person who can't appreciate any sensational TV series be it bb, kp, liita, atots etc I just want to say that you should listen to yourself and your emotions and not look at high marks and if you don't like it, don't force yourself to watch the series through forced. I have a theory that if the series doesn't catch you by 4 ep, you feel the heaviness when watching, then you should stop watching it. btw do you have any popular TV shows that you've dropped? what do you like from the old and already recognized classics of shows (series from the time of sotus or hormones)?

i do strongly believe that if a piece of media doesn’t bring you joy then you shouldn’t suffer through it or feel bad for dropping it, because in the end we’re all different and we all resonate with different stories and characters and pairings, so we should just spend our time focusing on what we do like and not feel pressured to get into something only for its popularity, which a lot of times it doesn’t even necessarily equal quality, at least in my experience. i guess sometimes it’s just hard to remember that this actually applies to myself as well, and while im very happy in my own little corner i also still end up stressing on silly things like if im being too boring, or too annoying, or if i should be more active in other fandoms, etc. so yeah, thank you for sending me this!!!!!

i actually haven’t dropped many shows, in general, because other than forgetting that i can just do that, im also both really curious and incredibly stubborn, which is not a good combo, so i can’t think of any popular show i haven’t finished. there are, however, a lot of popular shows i personally feel very meh about (for example until we meet again and to my star 2 [please don’t kill me]) or even actively dislike (for example love by chance and history 3: make our days count [please don’t kill me pt.2]), and some that im just not interested in watching for different reasons (for example tharntype)

then there are some, mostly old ones actually, that i am interested in watching but haven’t found the time yet, like love sick, make it right, dark blue kiss and if we go outside of the strictly BL territory, then also friend zone and project S. out of all the old ones i did watch, im gonna be honest and admit that i am still stupidly fond of SOTUS. i am fully aware of all the problematic stuff in it, and i was there for the krist mess when it happened, however it was my first BL, it’s the kind of slow burn i like, and i still think it treats its female characters way better than a lot of recent ones do, so despite everything im afraid i will always have a soft spot for it. the same goes for puppy honey (only the first season), which i find very lighthearted and cute, and gray rainbow, which scarred me for life and it’s the reason i refuse to watch sad endings ever again, but unfortunately for me i love karn and nut in this show

Aww, I remember that one! I was super excited to write it because I've always wanted to write a request for March and the idea of a maze date came up in Finnie and I's discord server, and I was so happy to get to bring the idea to full fruition and it made March super happy so that was also definitely a plus! 💚

3. The best character you've written for

Asffhkjlkjlhlg you have no idea how much that means to me 🥺🥲 How validating it feels! I have no doubt it happens with all writers, but there are times I'm constantly worried if I get characters wrong, especially ones I love, like the Dork Squad, and I know they're pretty well loved in general in the fandom so there was some pressure for sure. It feels really good to know that I do them and their different variations justice when I can!

5. A fic I haven't read yet from you, but I want to.

Aww Love and Suds, honestly, has been and probably will remain my favorite story I've written for a while. I'm honestly kinda worried that I may never top that off lmao. It's one of those original passion projects where I had an idea and was stewing it in my mind for quite a while, but was super nervous that once I got it down it wasn't...going to be executed as well as I had it in my mind? But the overall feedback and...genuine appreciation I've seen for it from Jervis fans? Has absolutely floored me (the fact you said you heard good things about it makes me kinda giddy like people are talking about it? That's nuts!🥴) I'm so glad I was able to expand on Jervis in ways that DC writers don't want to? At least not since Joker's Asylum anyhow. But I do understand that the length of both Love and Suds and Good Advice is...is a lot, so please take your time but I'd love to hear your thoughts when you get around to it!
