lesbians who are terfs will never make any sense to me crying about the supposed exclusivity of the “female experience” like my brother in christ she experienced an othered, lonely, confusing childhood where she was made to feel inadequate in her gender, sexuality, or both just the same as you and instead of letting this unify you against patriarchy you just enforce it on other people to maintain the sliver of “power” you think you have. how do u not see how dumb this is oh my god

Did not need this double reminder of pain on those last episodes
Just finished season eight and I really don't understand why the thing that happened had to happen

I don’t think we give fire and blood enough credit for spending the entire middle third twisting itself into an absolute pretzel trying to portray the actions of lifelong problem Daemon Targaryen as morally grey because he is a complicated person and what is the nature and definition of good and evil and isn’t it all subjective doesn’t everyone have light and dark to them and circumstances and emotions deeply inform and twist the choices we make and that’s who we are. and then it ends by being like well. Aegon the Unworthy though he WAS just an EVIL BABY. you know how when babies are evil. A+ no notes

Ok so like I know we are all talking about god games, but here is my personal take on apollos verse.
1. There is an origin of sirens that has them be the former friends of Persephone (who were nyphms) and were tuned into sirens for failing to protect her.
2. Apollo was a suitor of Persephone, and there is a chance he may have known some of the nymphs that Odysseus killed.
Basically I think Apollo kinda felt bad that they were cursed, for something they could have never reasonably done (fight hades). It’s easy for Athena to convince him because he never really would have known them, and Athena’s argument is sound.
On top of that, the Trojan war is a whole can of worms and I think that sticking to what we know has happened in the musical makes it’s easier to digest, a lot of people are having epic be their first viewing of the odyssey, so I think it makes it’s a better viewing experience.
Anyways I love Apollo, playing his part on repeat.

I'm only halfway through it, will finish it...later. but my biggest gripe so far with Troy (2004) is how much they are butchering Menelaus. And not just by mispronouncing his name. He's portrayed as a cruel brute and I'm like bro. He does not deserve this treatment 😔
I understand some changes due to cultural shift and the nature of a different medium but. Why'd you gotta do Menelaus like that?
