Galacta and Orion's bio-mother, Cosmina! Yes, they're half Fecto! :D
She also has an older brother named Loki who basically works in the upper power of Fectos, his wife Lamia, and their daughter Selena. Lamia and Selena are "Flora Fectos" being more plant-based than mammalian.
Oh and small bonus.

A little continuation of the Mamma Mia! parody.
I want Sebastian and Ominis to share the joys of fatherhood together, and eventually they will share the joys of grandfatherhood together.
In my headcanon, MC dies prematurely, as does Donna, but there are paintings in the wizarding world that can communicate, so a story about Ominis and Sebastian talking to a painting that depicts her and remembering her would be wonderful.🥲

Jack and Bitty consider having twins just so Richard and Bob don't fight over holding the baby
I maintain that in the time between deciding to have a child to actually obtaining a child jack and bitty had numerous conversations about how their dads' competitive sides may come into play in grandfatherhood, but it turns out coach and bob adore being co-grandpas
meanwhile, alicia and suzanne enter a (mostly friendly) grandma feud from the moment they set eyes on that baby

∇ - old age/aging headcanon
Ooh, another one! Let's see... so I headcanon he and Peach ultimately have three children, and he's a very involved and loving father. But when he becomes a grandfather? He becomes the stereotype typically associated with grandmas: those kids get everything they want, no questions asked. He'll sit around and tell them embarrassing stories about their parents when they were younger or reminisce about The Good Ole' Days, with embellishment aplenty. Oh, are you hungry? No? Too bad! Grandpa Mario made fifteen different dishes, ten of which are sweet, and those clothes are looking a little loose on you, so you'd best start eating up! If fatherhood was fulfilling, grandfatherhood is ascension.

Everyone @ Gran: You have been assigned the role father. I imagine Nana comes home to that and sheepishly smiles at him until he asks and she's just like: "I have another child" and holds Toshi up to him. Gran you cannot escape fatherhood. (Or grandfatherhood for that matter, when a young boy with Nana's smile and Toshi's bounce with stars in his eyes or a boy with ruby eyes and Nana's hair and your cynical nature or another that looks so much like her you sometimes look twice)
Okay, let me expand on this for a second, in the context of a Nana Lives!AU listicle. This list is subject to future edits considering Nana Lives!AU isn’t even fully manifested, but suffice to say, it is very “ohhh you meant fix-it like MIRACLE fix-it” in vibes:
Kotarou is first in the family, no matter than he’s younger than Toshinori.
Toshinori is adopted as a Shimura before Sorahiko even marries in.
Kaina is less of a granddaughter than she is a niece, and she’s more Nana’s protege than Sorahiko’s. But she still counts as a member of the family because it looks like the Tsutsumis are more or less indifferent (or deceased) in canon.
Hana is the first actual grandchild. She is just as much of a red bean fiend as her grandpa, who indulges her antics terribly.
Tenko comes next, and he’s initially a shy kid that Sorahiko thought would take after his own temperament, but then he’s out of Hana’s shadow and chattering away at a mile a minute.
Keigo is plucked out of the illegal training program Nana only just sniffs out with Kaina’s assistance, and they’re so busy ensuring it doesn’t happen again, Nana entrusts Keigo to Sorahiko, who just retired from U.A. and is having empty-nesting feelings. Because Keigo’s origin still revolves around Endeavor, Sorahiko obligingly encourages yet another pro-hero dream.
Izuku is pretty much the last grandchild. He’s 100% Toshinori’s, even if not in blood, and that makes him a #nanahiko grandkid.

This (Abel's part specially) made me think of my grandpa 🥺 When I was a kid he'd scoop me up in a hug and not let me go, he'd make me "figure out" the way to escape, which always was by booping him on the nose 😭 Abel was MADE for grandfatherhood
Also my Abel route has a fem MC, and as a Latina I know that sometimes gender roles are dumbly enforced (at least in my family), but I headcanon ALL the It Lives MCs as horrible cooks 😭 So abuelo Abel and abuelita Rowan would be breaking all the gender norms by putting him in the kitchen while Rowan talks shit with the cousins and the grandkids 😭
ngl i thought of abel as a grandpa, and i immediately imagined one of my grandpas and that's what i based him off of 🥺 he would be the best grandpa. i want to adopt grandpa abel as a third grandpa for myself... it sounds like your rowan and abel will be the cutest, sweetest grandparents someday 🥰

"To Be Poppy" by Natalie Wood
A Texas afternoon in the middle of June sees a seasoned grandfather escorting his last grandson to his first bath. The newborn’s cart favors dragging to the right, so for the whole thirty-second walk he gently guides it left, forbidding it to kiss the wall. The babe should not know a bumpy ride. At least, not yet.
When the family of four joins the house on Hurley, there is a metal folding chair in the garage, cold as can be. It lives nestled between drawers full of tools, my toddler brother’s Little Tikes basketball hoop, and a countertop that serves as a home for an ash tray, some vodka, and a few liters of tonic water. For Poppy, this isn’t as inviting as the scene inside: his recliner, the evening news, and a hot supper cooking… but my parents don’t care for smoke, so what’s a few puffs outside?
As the bitter Winters settle in, a container of birdseed is brought out with hopes of providing sustenance for the local birds. Only, upon inspection, is there evidence of a common house mouse. Instead of disgust, or annoyance, Poppy chooses to greet such findings with a laugh and a sense of whimsy. “The Christmas Mouse is here again this year!” He cheers to me, his frightful, elementary-school-aged grandchild. The Christmas Mouse, he explains, is akin to Rudolph, but far less famous. Nonetheless, he is still a great piece of the Christmas magic for the family.
Eventually, the season of rebirth greets us with Poppy, the king of yard work, waking from his hibernation. And with the reclamation of his wicker hat crown, the land is dressed in colorful flowers, fresh mulch, and crisp mower lines. The phrase “it has to look nice; it has to be done right” is etched into each inch of the property, and is, from now on, an echo that escapes my father’s mouth.
Years later, as Summer lays its head for an autumnal slumber, a baby girl is set to be due. A sunny New York morning in late September sees a well-seasoned grandfather admiring the Hudson River as he waits to welcome his last grandchild into the world. The excitement, the anticipation, and the pride within his heart beam all around the room; there is no doubt that she is one of his greatest blessings.
The years behind are riddled with evidence of Poppy: sponsoring my softball teams; bringing family into his office for a front-row seat of the Pleasant Valley Weekend parade; taking care of my family’s beloved dog, Jake, when an evil landlord held a no pet policy; being in the audience of sports games, graduations, science fairs, birthdays, holidays, and school concerts and plays; and, above all else, welcoming his grandchildren upon his lap during tractor rides, visits, and any time a snuggle was needed…
The nature of Poppy's grandfatherhood was not inherently grandiose; it is the summation of these small moments that have led me to declare that the time shared with him was nothing less than priceless. For to be Poppy is to love quietly.

i’m still just. baffled. by how many ppl are apparently reading Shadwell’s character so sideways from what’s there. maybe this is ppl who are coming to Gaiman’s work by way of the miniseries, but this archetype shows up in a solid half of his books! most notably in Neverwhere, but there’s one or two in American Gods as well. the crusty, crotchety eccentric old man, usually just short of destitute, saved from grandfatherhood only by virtue of never having married, probably served in the army at one point and let that become an entire third of his personality, has weird dietary quirks, and is solidly, comfortably bigoted against pretty much everyone. there’s a handful in Discworld too, it’s a very british stereotype that i guess doesn’t make it into a lot of american media, but come on guys, if you’ve read any other Gaiman or Pratchett books, this character is in there. he’s in there about a dozen times.

Batman Officially Turns into a "Grandfather"...
“Batman Battles Robotic ‘Grandson’ in New Batsuit in Absolute Power #2” Batman Embracing the Joys of Grandfatherhood? Not Quite. We all know that Batman is not exactly what you would call the “family-type” superhero, more of a lone wolf persona in the realm of comic book characters. But in a twist of events that could put any soap opera to shame, Batman is thrust reluctantly into the role of a…

Max Gail Live on Game Changers With Vicki Abelson
What a thrill it is when someone whose work I admire, adore, and respect exceeds all my expectations as a human. Max Gail, actor, director, advocate, songwriter, two-time Emmy Award Nominee, for Barney Miller, and two-time Emmy Winner for General Hospital did just that. Spending time in his most excellent company felt like a giant hug, like going home.
Max took us back to his childhood homes in Detroit and Florida, his six siblings, five of whom are twins, including his twin sister… crazy, the music his father instilled in him, his academic science “nerd” education, the songwriting, with rhyming lyrics of which he treated us to a delicious taste, backing into acting, a gift from his mother, co-starring in the original stage production of One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest as Chief Bromden in San Francisco, and reprising the role in his New York stage debut. He did his first film role in Dirty Harry, small parts on TV, and in commercials, till he got to Barney Miller, his Game Changer. You have to be smart to act dumb. Max with the masters mastered it. We talked about a lot of things along the way… acting, writing, auditioning, failing, scoring, native Americans, marriage, fatherhood, grandfatherhood, a later-in-life surprise, DC Cab, Belushi, Whiz Kids, 42, Alzheimer’s, General Hospital… Max, always fascinating, thoughtful, and delightful.
I loved every moment, and I’m so grateful to have gotten this opportunity to know Max a bit and to discover his heart is as huge as his talent. No wonder he’s so beloved, by his fans, of which I’m one, as well as just about every actor I know. Deserved!  As much as I adored Max Gail before this sit-down, multiply it a gazillionfold. What fun! And boy, does he know to close. I still have goosebumps.
