♦ - quirks/hobbies headcanon

Espio's got a lot of knowledge about tea, all the various purposes of the different herbs and spices one can use, and how to make a good cup with those. It's one of the things Vector and Charmy know he's dead serious about! On nights either he or Silver cannot sleep, he'll go to the kitchen and prepare a cup of tea for them both to help. Silver is also learning about various plants to cultivate, and has created a little corner with tea herbs in their backyard for Espio to make use of <3

☾ - sleep headcanon

Espio has a superpower that allows him to lay down in bed, close his eyes, and immediately fall asleep ninety-nine out of a hundred times. Only on days where he is stressed or has a lot on his mind does it take much longer. He also just kind of lays like he can readily be shoved in the grave, namely with his hands folded over his stomach and not a single bout of tossing and turning throughout the whole night.

Silver's sleep schedule is a MESS. In the ruined future, he had no reason to stick to any schedule, since the concept of time did not even exist. Thus, when he first came to the past he struggled massively with zonking out multiple times throughout the day and getting like one-and-a-half hours of sleep before waking up again.

Of course, when the two of them started a relationship together and thus also began sharing a bed, they needed some time to get used to things. But Espio's shaken off his rock-solid sleeping posture in favour of cuddling with Silver, and Silver's slowly adapting to sleeping a whole night in one go.

With Akane being in the game, I really wanna know whose perspective we're remembering him from too, since prior to that it seemed pretty certain it'd be either Jo or Ichiban. It's young Arakawa specifically, so it has to be between Jo and Akane as far as we know. I'm certain Jo has seen him go apeshit, but if Akane has and she fell for him anyway? Oh, by the Seven! Did he just see you, with that sad expression plastered on your face? He glanced sneakily at you, not wanting to be noticed. After all, he needs to maintain that strong reputation. He won't do anything when he sees you at first, since he isn't good at comforting people to begin with. But when he keeps on noticing that you aren't cheering up by the days and that the time you spend together slowly turns into him not seeing you at all, that is when he knocks at your door. He won't admit that he is worried as he sighs dramatically when he gives you a soft hug. You notice that this is his way of trying to comfort you, so you accept his hug. He ends up spending the rest of the day with you, where you can vent about whatever is making you feel down, or if you want, the two of you can just nap together.

That won't do. If he sees you looking down, he is right away coming to you. He will want to know what made you feel so down, and the Seven forbid it was anyone that made you feel like that because they won't be here to see another day. You want to talk about it? He will listen. You want him to comfort you? He will hug you and kiss your forehead until you feel better. You want space? He will question that one but will do as you say if that is what you need. Either way, Malleus really wants you to feel better, so he even asks Lilia if he knows how to help you cheer up. He will show up at Ramshackles with your favorite cake, flowers, and some movies for the two of you to watch together, and he won't stop until he sees your smile again.

Stop everything! He even dropped his book when he saw your text, telling him that you aren’t feeling well enough to meet him for your daily study session. He won’t allow this! Plans can’t be altered last second! He just wants to be with you. He wants to meet you so that you can explain what you mean by "Not feeling well enough," but Trey talks with him, stating that you are actually feeling down because of something that happened. Oh, he gets it now. He is kinda sad that you didn’t just come to him to talk about it. Do you not trust him enough? But he doesn’t think much of it as he sees you the next day. He approaches you carefully, telling you that you can talk with him about anything, as he won’t judge you. If you decide to tell him what is making you feel down, he will try to be understanding of you. If you don’t want to talk about it, he won’t pressure you. Either way, he will ask you to join him to drink some tea, and he brings some hedgehogs since he knows how much you love them.

So this morning I have realised some stuff about my Macaque home hc

So first of all you can see the human disguised Macaque with Bai He,

and so Bai He wasnt there or "planed into the house" three days ago, but I decided that, that just wont do, I want her with Macaque, so im going to have to go back and alter my original ideas so it would fit the concept of Bai He also living there with Macaque (I have quit a lot of ideas for that, but ill get to them when I have the time)

But its not the main reason I wanted to talk about this even with half finished ideas under constructuion in my head

The big thing you already saw the random old lady and the antic Store/shop, so its no suprise im going to talk about that a for a bit,,, not a lot tho cuz I dont really got the energy for this

Soo--- She does not have a name, but Ill work on that, shes not fully thougt out, but nothing really when it comes to my ideas and headcanons (its kinda like eating halfbaked dough)

so shes 73 years old divorced lady running a little antic shop in the outer cirkles of Megapolis. I was thinking maybe it was her who originally selled the whole building to Macaque and rented the free space under the dojo.

She has a daughter and a grandkid (didn't decide on gender yet)

Shes kinda inspired by @/ladygreenfrisbee's oc in the fanfiction sunbreak, a snarky but sweet old lady whos not taking any shit from the brooding, shadow the hedgehog wannabe.

When she was younger she worked in a Museum in Megapolis, working with antient historical artifacts and megical weapons, but she pretty much knew everything about anything in there, with history and old stories being one of her passions,

Thus after she retired she decided to open and antic store. Even tho its an antic store, she can be one of those people that you bring an old piece of furniture or object in and they can tell you if its legit or not. She is also willing to trade and buy stuff from you if its to her likings. She's fair and not a con artist, she has just enough money for herself and thats completely fine by her, shes a simple woman when it comes to living.

She has a ton of degrees, Dr. And Phd tytels and what nots, extreamly smart and knows a lot about history and mytology and different eras of the past, making it easier for her and Macaque to connect over old stuff.

Also I was thinking, even tho she couldnt tell that Macaque was the Six Eared Macaque himself, she knew that they were wearing glamours, She studied artifects and worked with demons who were experts on the field of magics and glamours, she knows her shit

And even tho She had a decent relationshipp with Macaque I dont think Macaque would willingly let her see his true form, maybe after he was very exhausted, and injured after a fight they couldnt hold it up and were like-- fuck it who cares (maybe it was after the final fight with LBD) and she obviously knew who they were imidietly seeing his Six ears (that even tho he let her see one time hé continued to glamour like he would usually, only letting go of their human disguise)

So after that she would start asking him a whole lot of questions about the past and what was it like, carefully avoiding the questions involving the great sage equal to heaven, cuz she knew what happend from jttw

But yeah Macaque found it funny how a child and an old lady are looking at him with similar shimmer to their eyes as they interrogate him on the past

She loves a good tea and has her own little blends that calm the nerves and ease muscle pain and stuff like that. After She and Macaque became more friendly with eachother she gifted them some tea that helps him fall asleep better and relax. Macaque checked them for poison twice and couldnt find anything, but still wasnt willing to drink from them until he had a very fucked up breakdown yippeee ✌️

After Macaque lived there for some years they somewhat warmed up to eachother, they would hold little tea paties and talk about stuff (annoying husbands and divorce) after Bai He started living with Macaque these tea parties increased in numbers, sometimes the ladys grandchild joining in when Grandma was watching over them, maybe they get along well with Bai He, maybe they had a rocky begining to their friendshipp, but they warmed up to eachother and now are pretty good friends (maybe, ill think about it more)

BUT!!! this was it for now its already 2:40 am and im waking up at 6:40 so even tho I have more to say ill be going now

Would Espio and Silver drink from the same drink with two straws? And what do they both like to drink, be it together or alone?

That would be a very cute date idea with the two of them! I can imagine Amy is gushing about it to Silver, who immediately comes up with a ploy to go out into the city with Espio and romantically share a big drink with two curly heart-shaped pink straws. Espio thinks it is a little bit corny, but I do think he quite likes how much in close proximity to Silver it puts him. Though, they are absolutely drinking that drink in private, lest Espio gets self-conscious about people watching them!

As for their favourite drinks, Espio is all about teas! He can make a mean cup of tea himself, perfectly balanced in flavour and temperature, but he does like to splurge a bit at times and get a fancier type at a shop. Silver likes teas as well because thosr make up 90% of what Espio is hydrating him with, haha. But I can see him be intrigued by 'fast food' drinks like milkshakes; it's technically a drink, but so sweet and thick! And maybe boba tea with the bubbles is something he finds very funny as well. Though, I think fresh, clean water might secretly be his favourite most of all, for obvious reasons. But when they share that drink with two straws together, it's a very fancy drink, because Amy insisted that Silver didn't just pop in some carbonated water or a soda. Maybe something with apple flavour, since both Espio and Silver seem to be fond of apples!

There are 810 rules at Heartslabyul, all invented by the Queen of Hearts herself.

(In Japanese 8 can be pronounced “hah” while 10 can be pronounced “toh”, and in katakana hah + toh = ハート, which means “heart”).

The rules we have seen in-game are:

Rule 6- No fighting on campus

Rule 23- One must never bring a cat to a formal affair

Rule 53- When something is stolen from you, you must take it back!

Rule 89- Never eat a tart without the Queen’s permission

Rule 124- When you get soaking wet, you must dry off with a run in the ocean

Rule 153- No black tea at night? (a little vague)

Rule 186- Never eat a hamburger on Tuesday

Rule 228- Flowers in gardens must never be picked on Wednesdays

Rule 339- "The post-meal beverage is to be lemon tea with two sugar cubes"

Rule 412- When you see a pair of moving glasses in the forest, never go back the way you came

Rule 249- Flamingo caretakers are to don pink attire

Rule 256- No drinking honey-sweetened lemonade after 8pm

Rule 271- One must leave the table within fifteen minutes of completing their lunch

Rule 346- Croquet must not be played after 5:00pm

Rule 469- When throwing a party for new friends, one must decorate with both red and white roses

Rule 529- If you eat a steak on the night of a full moon, a cat must play the violin afterwards

Rule 562- One must never bring a chestnut tart to an unbirthday tea party

Rule 648- One must brush one’s teeth twice over after eating turkey

Rule 703- Anyone who comes in second in a croquet tournament must serve the queen tea the next day

Unbirthday parties seem to come packaged with "a big croquet tournament" and special rules of their own:

・Roses must be red (and must be white for a spring concert put on by the garden's flowers)

・Croquet must be played with seven-colored flamingoes and a hedgehog for a ball

・Tablecloths must be white

・There must be a dormouse asleep in the teapot (with jam on-hand to spread on its nose, as necessary)

・Party days mandate formal dress

As for the more common rules, a few of them get referenced repeatedly, such as Rule 53 ("When something is stolen from you, you must take it back!"), Rule 153 (No black tea at night?
