Oh this is going to hurt... a lot.

I should be worried if the first thing I do after an episode isn't open Photoshop. Normally, I would now recall the best scenes of the series and decide on a set… But not today, even though I have the time. I once wrote that when a series can no longer catch me, you can tell by the fact that I stop making gifs… Okay, sometimes I just don't have the time. But today… I wouldn't even know which scene to choose, because there was nothing that got me, nothing that excited me and nothing that I felt emotional connected to. Instead, I have a lot of thoughts in my head that all want to get out somehow.

After the over-emotionalization of the last episode, I had actually already given up on Last Twilight. And that really hurts to admit. I loved the series from the very first second and I just thought it was so good! The problem for me was that they tried to just touch the audience's tear triggers, their emotions, all of them. And they forgot that too much of a good thing is simply not good. For me, episode 11 was right on the edge of what was bearable and I still don't think Day did the "right" thing. You're allowed to argue in a relationship and hold different opinions and then talk about why you hold a certain point of view, for example. If the other person can't deal with it, if you can't find a compromise, then you have to take the consequences, yes. But that wasn't even done here.

Day insinuated that Mhok pitied him, didn't listen to Mhok's side and today we learn that Mhok really only felt pity? Really? And that he is happy Day broke up with him so he could grow? Really? That is so fucking stupid. Day has problems with pity, that's understood and ok, but it's also ok for Mhok to make his own priorities in life and decide for himself not to want to leave, but to stay with the person he loves. But Day took that decision away from him. They could have talked about it. Different perspectives can also make a big difference. But no. Day pushes Mhok away and Mhok lies to Day… But back to tonight's episode. I was actually done with last week (yeah nope, I know). You can see that they tried to find a highly emotional ending that everyone seems to agree with and can cry into their handkerchiefs. The number of fuck yous I hurled at my laptop today shows me that the trick didn't work on me. It was all so over-emotionalized that it just felt fabricated and fake. And that's so sad, because the show felt so fucking real until episode 10. And now it was a weird cliché-ridden cringe-fest.

Honestly, if I had been dumped like Mhok and then ignored for three years, the time I spend thinking about that person would be really wasted. I'd be so fucking angry (probably not anymore after three years, I just wouldn't care). But Mhok immediately starts flirting. They pick up where they left off, but there's three years and thousands of kilometers between them. Unrealistic for me. And then Mhok just carries on, whispering to Day about what's happening and what's going on and just acting like his boyfriend again, holding his hand, helping him get dressed, showing him where everything is. I was a bit surprised that he didn't feed him. And Day is confused and just smiles. I think as a viewer I was the only person who was angry at the end. There were no bad emotions. Nothing. And that felt so fucking wrong!

And then comes the wedding and talk of second chances and of course Day says no because he's too scared someone will take pity on him. Yeah, fuck man, shit happens. and Mhok can't or won't give up. An emotional chase begins and the bride and groom leave their own wedding for the two of them and I lost faith in everything. And of course the plane is gone and of course they're all checked in because the passport was scanned and of course Mhok turned around and went back and of course he clued Night in and of course they end up doing the same dance they did back then and of course the family watches them get back together. And of course the series ends with a bunch of sugary sweet scenes from "call me mom" to sunset and let's repeat this most beautiful and heartbreaking moment from the past epsiode without any emotional impact. It was so predictable and so, I'm sorry, so bad. I'm so angry! And of course he gets his sight back. After all, what kind of a message would it be if Day remained blind? Is that possible? That a blind protagonist can find happiness and love and lead a successful life? No, it's not possible. He has to be able to see again. He has to become normal again in order to lead a normal life. What a shitty message! Damn!

Sometimes less really is more. Not everything has to be perfect and normal. At least that's the lesson I thought I should learn from this series.

that's just one of his questions by the way, he's also gonna ask what you saw in your ex and why you were gonna break up with him. I honestly think epel wouldn't be able to tell that it's a joke cause if he sees something bigger(break up with you part); which conceals the small loop hole. (i'd go back to my ex part)

so he doesn't really register it just like any of the boys listed here. epel is both mad but also curious since you never mentioned an ex so he wants to see if your ex did you justice. either you laugh because you don't have an ex, or just at epel's unconscious cute behavior.

if you don't tell him the joke, he's gonna end up spilling to either vil or rook, one way or another. and the two would decipher it quite easily since their minds aren't erratic like epel's was when you first spoke of it.

Tsubaki: I know that since Kamen Rider Blade is celebrating its 10th anniversary, the fans have been asking if we could do something for them. It reminded me that this show is still loved by so many people.

Amano: We talked about how it'd be nice if we could do something together. Kindof like how "Ninpu Sentai Hurricaneger" celebrated its 10th anniversary, and released a new project.

Tsubaki: Yeah. Then, we were offered to do a Drama CD. It made me really happy. This is the first of its kind in Kamen Rider history, and I think the only reason such an offer was given, was because the fans, Toei, the sponsors, the staff, and the cast all came together to make it happen.

Amano: For me, at first, I honestly wondered how a 10 year old production would be revived, and whether anyone would buy it.

Morimoto: Yeah. For me, my first impression was that this was a new beginning. Honestly, I was happy, but I was also worried about whether I'd be able to portray the role I played 10 years ago in a convincing way.

Hojo: I felt the same way. However, when I first heard about it, I was more happy than worried. Blade was the work I was most attached to, and had the most vivid memories of during my acting career. Now, in a brand new drama written 10 years later, I was really looking forward to it.

Amano: But, I also thought it was a story that I couldn't accept if all four of us weren't here.

Morimoto: That's the minimum requirement. After all, "Blade" is only possible if we're all together.

Amano: That's why I thought the most important thing was whether Joe (Hojo-san's nickname), who had retired from acting and returned to his hometown Nagoya, would be able to appear in this work. If they said, "He's retired, so just drop it," then there's nothing we can do about it. But, when Joe said he was sure and wanted to continue to be involved with the Kamen Rider series, it was then that I realized for the first time that this story would actually be happening.

Tsubaki: In Joe's case, locating him was quick, but contacting him to finalize the deal was the hard part.

Hojo: Just as we were talking about it, my cell phone died......(laughs)

Tsubaki: It was the first time I saw him in awhile, but he suddenly brought me a box with his new smartphone in it and said, "Baki (Tsubaki-kun's nickname), set it up for me."

Amano: You're better off with a flip phone! (laughs). I sent you an e-mail the other day, but when I asked, "Why didn't you reply?," you said your screen had broke.

Tsubaki: Those kinds of things usually makes me nervous, but it's different when we're working on Blade. The other day, I asked him, "What would you do if you were offered an acting role for something other than Kamen Rider?" He said, "I won't do it. But, if it's Kamen Rider, I'll definitely do it." I'm so happy that Joe still feels that way even after 10 years.

-10 years later, the four of us are just as you imagined-

Morimoto: I was happy to see that the Drama CD was a continuation of the story up to episode 49, which we had performed over the course of a year, all while creating a new story.

Amano: I was happy to see the presence of Kenzaki (Kazuma), how Hajime (Aikawa) had grown as a human, and how Mutsuki (Kamijo) had become an adult.

Morimoto: And also, Tachibana-san is more like a gentleman.

Tsubaki: I think Kenzaki was as I expected. I was told by Director Ishida (Hidenori) in the film "Missing Ace," which takes place 4 years after the show, that, "Kenzaki will not change even after 4 years." I thought that even 10 years later, Kenzaki would still be the same.

Morimoto: It was the exact image I had in mind, or rather, what I wanted him to be like.

Amano: On the flip side, the most unexpected thing was the conversations between Tachibana and Hajime. After 10 years, It seems that Tachibana was now able to talk with Hajime.

Morimoto: That's for sure. At the time, Garren (who Tachibana transforms into) and Chalice (who Hajime transforms into) were enemies.

Amano: Now, Ryo-chan (Morimoto-san) and I are having deep conversations.

Morimoto: Just like me and Amano-kun, I was happy to see that after 10 years, Hajime and Tachibana had developed a strong relationship. That's why I felt that the scene had to be a condensed version of their 10 years together.

Hojo: There's a line from Mutsuki in the TV show, where he says, "I want to protect the smiles and tears of people."……Going along with that, Mutsuki's choice of an event company as a place of employment in order to make people smile had me thinking, "That makes sense." It also makes him happy having junior colleagues. In his mind, Mutsuki's senior is Tachibana-san, but it's not enough to just imitate him. Therefore, I think I was able to play the role of a senior in my own way, although not as strict as Tachibana-san.

Amano: By the way, how are Mutsuki and Nozomi-chan getting along 10 years later? In the Drama CD, it's only brought up alittle bit.

Morimoto: What's more, "Mutsuki," you slurred your words! (laughs)

Amano: I'm very curious. How about in Joe's mind? Do you go for it? Or…..

Hojo: Nozomi……I wonder if we're done.

Amano & Morimoto: What!!? You guys broke up?!

Tsubaki: Nozomi-chan...maybe she married someone else? (laughs) No, no, I'm just joking. What I left out just now, was foreshadowing for the next part.

Morimoto: You left it in!

Tsubaki: I'm sure that in the next part, Nozomi-chan will be in trouble, so Mutsuki, trying to save her, will finally transform into his Jack Form.

Amano: I don't think they (the scriptwriters) put that much though into it!!

-Because we understand each other's roles-

Morimoto: Hajime isn't the type to show his emotions, but during the recording, I was so emotional, that I actually started to cry.

Amano: It was the final scene. When we finished, I said, "This isn't it," and re-recorded it.

Morimoto: Yeah. If Hajime honestly expresses his feelings and becomes 100% human, that's where the story will end. But, after seeing Kenzaki for the first time in such a long time, the thought of never seeing him again made me so emotional. I though, "Hajime should act like this too," but then I realized, "maybe I'm being alittle too feminine." When I asked everyone about it, both Amano-kun and Hojo gave the advice of, "Definitely don't cry." The reason we can share our opinions like that is because we all understand our roles.

Amano: That's right. It's the same for me, I remember other people's roles more than my own.

Morimoto: In a way, it's like looking at it from the Director's point of view. A scene where I tell Amano-kun, "These are the only friends I can trust!," seems strange.

Amano: Now that you mention it, you were very quiet about it at first. But, that scene was also in the TV show, so when I asked Ryo-chan, "What were you doing before?," Ryo-chan remembered it well.

Morimoto: You said I was quite loud at that time

Amano: That's why we re-recorded it. Everyone remembers what Hajime was like, what Mutsuki was like, and what Kenzaki was like.

Tsubaki: When it comes to "that kind of thing" Kenzaki can only speak the "Ondul Language" right? (laughs).

(Everyone laughs)

Morimoto: For better or for worse, the image I have of Kenzaki has never changed. It was the same in the Drama CD. I remembered almost immediately that, "Kenzaki is just like this."

Tsubaki: "Like this," in a good way? (laughs).

Morimoto: Ofcourse. On the other hand, it would be strange if Kenzaki could speak as fluently as (Kenichi) Suzumura-san (laughs).

Tsubaki: Come to think of it, during the dub recording for "Super Hero Taisen," the staff members said, "We have high expectations" So when I asked them, "Which are you expecting?," they said, "Whichever!" Well, from the very beginning, I started chewing as I spoke, and they all started clapping……

Morimoto: You also chewed in the Drama CD (laughs).

Tsubaki: Yeah, I chewed on the first take. Then, a nerve struck in Amano-kun, and he said, "I can't take this anymore…."

Morimoto: Then he left (the recording room).

Hojo: When he came back, he kept laughing like this (he holds his hands over his mouth) (laughs).

Morimoto: It was insanity. I also laughed at the beginning exchange with Kenzaki. In the flashback scene of the main story, he says, "Hajime, you can continue to live among other humans!"

Tsubaki: It came out more, "You can continue to live among other humans….."* (laughs). It's because that scene once traumatized me. *(said slightly slurred towards the end)

Morimoto: Were you actually hurt or something?

Tsubaki: I don't know if it's because people think that my lines with Ondul elements are the correct ones. I was wondering which expectation I should meet, but in the end, I ended up going with Ondul.....

Amano: I was entertained by it though.

Hojo: Another new saying will be born (laughs).

Morimoto: That part of him is what Kenzaki's all about.

Tsubaki: Just so you know, I usually speak very normally. But Kenzaki, he's just different! (laughs)

-We're now eagerly awaiting to visualize it!-

Tsubaki: Thankfully, I heard that the number of pre-orders for the Drama CD exceeded expectations, and Blade, which was broadcast on "Nico Nico Douga" late last year, was also quite popular. So, if we can get a little more support from the fans, I think a video version may be possible.

Amano: I'm glad that we were able to do a Drama CD, and that we were able to appear in Super Hero Taisen with all four of us, but, we mainly did dubbing. Next time I want everyone to appear in a film. By the way, I've confirmed that all four suits of Blade, Chalice, Garren, and Leangle still exist (laughs).

Tsubaki: Leangle's Jack Form figure is also available!

Hojo: Come to think of it, at the time of Missing Ace, Baki and Amano-kun lied to me by saying, "I heard Leangle gets his Jack Form……" (laughs)

Even if they have a fucked up relationship this was only after they broke up in comparison to whatever the hell Stolitz has going on! At least Blitz actually chose to be with Verosika and they clearly had consent! You know it's bad when toxic exes somehow have a better relationship than your so called main forbidden gay love story. Yet the fandom thinks an yaoi sex slave ship is somehow healthy gay representation but exes who happen to have had a messy "straight passing" relationship and now resent eachother over something the other did and are now toxic towards eachother and yet it's clearly shown they do still care about eachother on a surface face level which is something that is actually happens in real life is a homophobic straight ship?

I don't even ship it but I'd take it any day over what ever the hell Stolitz is and them getting back together would actually be much more believable than Blitz having feelings for Stolas will ever be. I honestly think it would be funny if someone pointed out that Blitz has been shown to love Verosika more than he has Stolas as while I do agree BlitzStrike is probably the best ship. Verosika is the only character that Blitz has so far been show to have actually had mutual feelings for unless Fizzarolli counts? But then again they have that weird sort of foster siblings implication going on so who cares? And even then there was still more evidence before Season 2 that Blitz had more feelings for Verosika than anyone else especially Stolas and I am not counting attraction since Blitz is almost always horny so whatever. Still Blitz feeling remorse and even showing that he at one point enjoyed spending time with Verosika is more convincing than whatever love confession they make Blitz give to Stolas.

look here shadow's had it rough in the writing department for a while but i very much appreciated this plot point of him going out of his way to get concert tickets for amy and even (reluctantly) agreeing to go with her to said concert even if it isn't his cup of tea. i know it's more presented as him trying to y'know be polite and considerate and he's going about it in an edgy way but i'd like to think it's just his way of presenting things if you will? like he know what amy's favorite band is and sees how hard the tickets are to get so he goes out of his way to get them because he cares about his friend and knows how much attending a concert like that would mean to amy. and in terms of this screenshot in particular i also appreciate amy appreciating her friends' presence at her party even if they hadn't gotten her anything! sure it does kinda come across as her being bummed about not getting gifts from them and maybe she is but i think that's okay? like she's 12 (or 13 now i guess?) getting excited about presents is pretty normal, and it's not like she's super upset about it anyway. i think she genuinely appreciates her friends attending her party more than anything

Suddenly she was pulled into a tight bear hug by her boyfriend. A tight one. Honestly, the human thinks she heard her back crack from the embrace.

"B-Beel..."

The man quickly released his hold on her, revealing tears in his own eyes.

"I never meant to push this on you." He told his girlfriend. "I didn't think about how hard it would be on your body. I'm sorry."

The demon held her once more, but this time was much more gentle.

"I'd never leave you. I want to be a dad but...if you don't want to be a mom then it's not worth it."

MC shook her head.

"Beel, I want kids just as much as you. I just... can't handle the process of making them."

The man leaned down and kissed his Muffin.

"Maybe we can find another way." He hoped aloud. "But...I won't force you into anything."

The human gave her boyfriend a sad smile.

"I know, big guy."

Like with most problems the man has, Beel talked this over with his twin, who was actually surprised; not because of the issue, but because he actually knew something about it.

Apparently, he noticed Satan reading a book on magical pregnancies just yesterday so the sloth demon recommended talking to him about what he knows.

And he did. At first, the blonde wasn't sure how to help the gluttony demon though.

Yes, Satan did finished that exact book yesterday that Belphie mentioned, but it was mostly filled with theoretical magick concepts for pregnancies or ones that were incredibly circumstantial, like how Lucifer gave birth to him.

Yet he did have another book on a similar topic he had yet to open so he told the other demon that he would read it and let him know if there was anything useful in it for him and MC.

The blonde approached him later that day with a method he believed could be useful to them, but Beel still worried about the process.

It was a ritual spell that required an initial carrier who, at minimum, needed to be 8 weeks along before transferring the pregnancy to their partner

Meaning that MC would still have to start the pregnancy, carry their child for the first two months at least before her boyfriend could take over and carry their child to term.

The redhead didn't like this and felt guilty just for thinking about this.

I mean, his Muffin explicitly told him that she never wants to be pregnant so to turn around and essentially ask 'Well, can you do it for just a little while?' felt so selfish, so dismissive of her fear.

After some coaxing from his twin, the big guy eventually does bring it up to his girlfriend

And though still scared...MC really wanted to make Beel a daddy.

So to hear that she just had to start off the pregnancy and not be forced to be the one to give birth? It felt like the best offer she could ever get.

When the two started trying for their baby, Beel was incredibly gentle and slow with her. He could still see the anxiety in her eyes and always reminded her that they can stop anytime.

But she kept things going; she loved this man so much that she needed this to work.

So when they discovered MC was pregnant, the human was just as happy as she was scared. Beel spoiled and comforted her the entire two months, especially when she dealt with morning sickness.

When the woman finally hit the 8 week mark, she was more than ready to get this child out of her.

With the help of Satan, the two were prepped for the ritual.

It took place in Beel's room. The blonde drew various runes on their bodies, from their chests to their arms and, most importantly, on their lower stomach area.

At this point, MC only had the slightest pouch, the only physical sign on her body that suggested a child could be inside her at this early stage. Still, Satan was extra gentle as he drew the rune in this spot.

Next step was to be pressed together, torso to torso. This part was subjective and gave the couple the freedom of choice on how they wanted to do this.

The two settled on Beel sitting on his bed with MC on his lap with her legs wrapped around his waist. He hugged her close, keeping them stomach to stomach, and lightly scratched her back in order to comfort the anxious human.

Satan performed the spell on them, causing each rune to glow green with a strangely warm sensation.

MC's breathing became difficult to manage; it wasn't pain she was feeling, but something so foreign and so uncomfortable that it overwhelmed her body.

Beel hugged her tighter to his body, whispering into her ear how good she was doing and that it would just take a minute or two longer.

Eventually, that strange sensation left MC's body and suddenly, Beel himself could feel it in the pit of his stomach.

His breath hitched and he buried his face in his Muffin's hair, letting the scent of her comfort him through this feeling.

Finally, Satan's chanting ended and subsequently, so did the rune glowing and that strange feeling in his stomach.

Beel kissed his girlfriend's hair before the two pulled back from one another. MC's small pouch on her belly was gone, but no one could tell too much had changed on Beel's stomach.

His lower abs seems a bit softer, less defined as they were before, but otherwise nothing seemed different on the man at first.

It wasn't until later that evening when Beel undressed to take a shower that he noticed something else had changed with his body.

The part that should be dangling between his legs was no longer there. Instead, it was replaced with a part much like MC's.

Most men would be upset at losing the part of them they associated their masculinity with, but Beel was nothing but amazed and intrigued with this development.

I guess the spell also prepared an exit for his baby? As he thought about it, the demon could only be grateful that the ritual also took this into account and ultimately accepted his new body part.

He just couldn't help being curious about what other ways his body will change.

As the pregnancy progressed and his belly grew, his baby grew, Beel practically fell in love with his new form.

He started being very, very gentle with himself now that his child was sharing his body. The demon no longer went to the gym since he was worried about putting any strain on his body while his baby was depending on him.

His appetite also increased a lot during this time.

Some days it seemed like Lucifer was ready to pull his hair out over trying to keep the kitchen stocked.

Often it would be filled to the brim and the night would come and Beel would make a kitchen raid.

In the morning, whoever was on breakfast duty would realize that there was no food to cook with.

Beel genuinely felt guilty about this, but his brothers always forgave him. After all, he's the Avatar of Gluttony and he's pregnant. Of course this was going to happen.

Whenever he got too upset about this, the pregnant man would cuddle in bed with his girlfriend and MC would make it all okay.

"Lucifer looked so stress..."

"I know, I know. It's okay though." MC laid her hand on his cheek. "He's not mad at you; it's not your fault."

"Belphie almost didn't get to eat breakfast..."

"But he did." The woman gave him a soft smile. "Because of you, Luce ordered food from Belphie's favorite restaurant and he got to eat his favorite meal"

"But he had to wait..."

Oh Beely. This man knew how hard it was to wait for food so he was really being sensitive about it.

MC leaned in and gave her boyfriend a sweet kiss before laying her forehead on his.

"It's okay." She repeated softly. "We all still love you and just want you and the baby to be happy and healthy."

She lowered her hand to his belly and the pregnant man did the same.

"You're really amazing, you know that?" She whispered, gently stroking his belly. "You're an amazing man, amazing boyfriend...an amazing Daddy."

Beel smiled back at her, feeling a bit better about things now.

This time, he was the one to lean in and kiss his girlfriend. It was a slow, but sweet; one the couple really took their time with as their hands gently caressed each other's bodies

No matter how insecure he got, MC was always able to comfort him and remind him of how wonderful he was. He was a loving man who always put those around him first after all.

Between no longer exercising and eating more food than he ever has, the man's belly grew quickly, but his family knew there had to be more to the growth than that.

That's when they decided to have Satan use the rune I've talked about in many other stories. It was drawn around his belly button and Satan laid his hands over it to collect the info.

That's when they discovered that Beel was carrying twins.

Oh how the couple cried tears of joy!

"Muffin... twins!" The man hugged his girlfriend in a tight embrace.

A bit too tight, but the woman still smiled and hugged the big guy back.

Once he pulled back, both of them realized just how hard they were both crying.

The couple had the same idea of kissing the other's tears away.

Unfortunately, this resulted in the two butting their noses together, which caused them to laugh before more carefully leaning into each other for a kiss.

They spent a lot time after that just talking to Beel's belly, to their twins, and telling them just how insanely loved they are and how they just can't wait to meet them.

Beel couldn't bear to take his hands off his belly the entire day; he couldn't help it. He wanted to be as close to his daughters as possible, as if them literally being inside of his him wasn't enough.

(I just found out my keyboard can make things like this??? So I guess I'm keeping it here lol)

When the pregnancy reached its end and Beel started feeling contractions, the man just... didn't recognize them?

As in, he definitely felt them, acknowledged them, thought 'dang those sucks' and just moved on with his freaking day 😂

Because it just didn't compute in his brain that they were contractions instead of just weird ass cramps

And this big guy had a pretty good pain tolerance so he suffered through these all day before he even expressed the slightest hint that he was in pain.

Belphie was the first one to notice something was up with his twin and brought it up at dinner.

"I'm fine." He told the table since all eyes were on him.

"You sure?"

Beel nodded before bringing more food to his mouth and chewing.

"Yeah, just been having some cramps today."

The whole table went silent.

That's when they noticed the big guy's breath hitch before rubbing his lower belly.

"Beely..." MC said carefully. "I think we should get you to a bed, just in case."

"Can I finish my plate first?"

....

"Sure, big guy..." 😮‍💨😅

Beel made quick work of his plate, but boy was his family tense.

Afterwards, MC took Beel into his room and kept him comfortable.

Eventually, his water broke and the contractions became too strong, even for him.

MC would periodically check his progress, but mostly laid in the bed and held her pained boyfriend.

She'd stroke his hair kiss his face anytime even the slightest wince was expressed.

Beel handle this pain as quietly as possible; not because he felt pressured to, but because it was more or less how he was conditioned to handle pain while growing up.

MC held him close and praised him sweetly, telling him it will all be okay and their twins couldn't wait to meet to meet their Daddy.

When the first daughter started crowning, the man's tears became thicker and he actually aloud himself to scream in pain at the burn.

MC checked below and had to help her boyfriend get the the baby's horns through in order for him to progress.

After that, it became a bit easier for the man.

His girlfriend comforted him through his time pushing out the shoulders and once he pushed the baby out far enough, the human was able to help tug the first baby out of him

And just like that, Arsenia was born.

Since her old sister stretched the way for her, Anais was birthed quicker and easier as well.

MC had the girls cleaned and wrapped up before handing one off to her anxious boyfriend.

With Arsenia in his arms and Anais in MC's, both parents wept happily.

"You did it, Beely." MC sniffled before leaning down and kissing the tired man's forehead.

Beel nodded, smiling before suddenly staring at her with these big sad eyes.

"I'm sorry."

"Oh Beely Boy." She wiped some fresh tears from his face. "About what?"

"I just..." The shook his head be brushing a finger over Arsi's thin patch of hair. "I expected you to go through this for me before..."

"It's okay." The human assured him. "It's okay; you didn't know, not fully. It's not your fault."

"I love you, Muffin."

MC let out a small laugh.

"I love you too, Beely."

The two leaned in for one last kiss before showing their daughters in endless love.

First off I was literally obsessed with your demo. It was actually the very first thing I ever read on dashington and I was basically inlove with all of the ROs.

That being said. As for the changes I've read through all the comments, asks and replies. And it's... different. Not necessarily bad just new I guess? Because it changes alot of the wonder I had experienced playing the demo. So it just feels weird I suppose?

No saying I won't read it, come on I love your writing. I practically word vomited my praises on tumblr as soon as I finished reading it the first time. And I get you said the old demo would still stay on but there's like.. no point if it's not gonna continue..? If that makes sense it's just then kind of incomplete?

I also for the most illogical reasons feel the same way as others when it comes to ROs being in relationships outside of MC. Like if they were already in a pre-existing relationship sure I get it! There are many stories like that if you don't choose to romance a character in the beginning they get back with an ex they broke up with or they are with someone else where you choose a route in like the very beginning. But again hear me out I'm completely stupid for this!!! But whenever I play a game where an RO then gets like with one of MCs friends on a different route it just fucks with my head for that LI. Like I then just see them with that other person. And have a fuck you attitude to that character aswell EVEN on a different route lmao it makes no sense! It's not logical! And it's dumb! But that's why I play fictional stories okay! So I don't hve to deal with shit like that. Don't judge me 😅🤣

Kay long tangent aside.. I guess what I'm saying is the new changes kinda scare me. But I'm keeping an open mind. I'd honestly read whatever you post because of how talented you are and yeah.. some of the ROs are probably gonna get a fuck you out of me for being in a different relationship and I'll probably not do that route because of how stupid my head is. So jesus I hope it isn't my fav LI 😭 but I'll still support you and I do wish you the best in the writing. I do love the story and I do like the addition of I guess more characters. Dear heck, I think this is the longest ask I've ever received. I didn't even know asks could be this long...

The changes will take a while for everyone to get used to, I think. But at least we'll all be in the same boat?

I do get the unsettling nature of seeing LIs romancing other characters while you're on alternate routes. The first one that springs to mind for me is Josephine in Dragon Age Inquisition. Seeing her fawn over Blackwall was weird. But, it made me realise how attached I was to her romance and hers alone, so it worked out in the long run.

Myrk Mire still isn't back on my working schedule yet, I'll let you all know when it is, and I'll try to keep you updated with WIP screenshots or planning doodles. Perhaps then I'll also give a bit more information on the dynamics of the LIs and the variables driving who makes eyes and who.

This is probably important to know about.

A summary: y'all know how SAG-AFTRA was on strike recently about a lot of things, up to and including the whole thing with voice actors being replaced by AI? Well, the strike ended, but some things didn't quite get ironed out. A lot of people were still not overly keen on the lack of protections voice actors had with regards to their voices being used by AI. So something had to be done.

Something apparently was, or is starting to be. SAG-AFTRA signed a deal with Replica, an AI tech company that deals with voiced AI, about when they can and cannot use a voice actor's voice that way. There are reportedly a lot of protections for the VAs there, though without having seen the actual text of the deal, I couldn't speak to how many loopholes are in it, but I would guess there were a lot.

Why do I guess this? Well, mostly because the minute the news broke on this, every major voice actor out there started flagging up that, despite SAG-AFTRA's claims of having spoken to "leaders in the VA industry" about this, no one had heard about it. I mean, Steve Blum hadn't heard about it, and he is a foundational pillar of the VA industry. So ... SAG-AFTRA is lying when they say that they spoke to "industry leaders", frankly. The question becomes, why?

SAG-AFTRA says, "Oh, you can opt out of letting them use your voice in future!" but ... well, first of all, an AI cannot as yet mimic a human's performance, so their reputation's going to take a hit as their voices end up doing a fairly flat and unconvincing acting job because their voices' stresses and inflections are going to be decided on by a computer that doesn't entirely get nuance. Voice acting is a freelance gig, and if your voice acting gets a bad rep in the industry, you can probably kiss further work good-bye. So what option do you have but let your AI-generated voice do more work? At least there's some money coming in at that point. Which is ugly across the board.

SAG-AFTRA says, "It's entirely opt-in!" but ... what happens when video game companies start demanding that VAs go through AI tech companies instead of casting agents and literally won't hire you unless your voice is AI-generated?

SAG-AFTRA says, "It's only the one AI tech company we have this deal with!" but ... they're talking about being in discussion with several more.

SAG-AFTRA most of all says, and here I paraphrase a bit but not that much: "AI is an innovation and we can't stop it so we're just going to stop trying and make the best of it". Which is not any kind of 'best' at all, for the reasons above.

And on top of all this, and in a similar spirit to that last comment by SAG-AFTRA, Steam has decided to actually let games with AI-generated assets be sold on their platform ... provided, Valve says, that they actually state publicly, on their Steam store page, that the game was made with AI assets and exactly what those AI assets are, so that consumers can make an informed decision. Given what garbage games Steam lets through the screening process anyway, I worry about what they won't catch.

Because I am not going to knowingly touch anything generated by AI. I'm not going to do it. I've seen online friends (mainly Facebook, honestly) who do AI generated images and go, "I know, I know, buuuuut..." And I'm like ... no. Just ... no. Do I commission art as much as I'd like to? No. Could I get all the art I wanted if I would just use an AI image generator? Yeah, with the caveat that bits of it would be weird as fuck. Am I going to do so? NO. The whole point of automation was that it was supposed to do the grunt work while humans created art, not the other way around. I refuse to support it in any fucking way. I don't care if it's "innovation". I don't care that "we can't stuff it back into Pandora's box". I hate it.

I mean, at its heart, AI is just one more way to delay the inevitable bursting of the bubble economy that late-stage capitalism and "fiduciary duty to shareholders" has created. AI means they can cut more labour costs, and make profit margins expand a little more, to keep up the fiction of perpetual growth just a little longer. Companies are going to push this to its limit, and people are going to suffer as a result. I will not support anything to do with that ... well, at least if I have any choice in the matter. The worst part of all of this is that because it is companies who pretty much run everything that are pushing this bullshit, I actually don't really have any choice in the matter most of the time.

It's one more depressing thing, finding out that AI is being parcelled into damn near everything at this point, even things we're more or less forced to use. I hate that Microsoft is just bundling AI wholesale into its next Windows updates, and why I'm holding off on Win11 for as long as possible.

I need to take this off my chest so I can move on.

Only Friends was a TopMew show disguised as an attempt to release a disruptive and innovative queer media.

Now that the show has ended and the world could see the product in its entirety we're able to judge it. I have no idea what actually went on behind the curtains or what was the real intention of the creators or how they view polygamy. But, as part of the audience and the target consumer, I feel like I'm able to talk about it and criticize it.

What they did to not only BostonNick but to NeoMark as well was horrible. How do you introduce them as part of the main 6, then forget about them along the way? The amount of screentime was diminishing as the episodes were released, and it was clear that scenes were cut off. The amount of disrespect.

Now, talking specifically about Boston. Up until episode 11 there were a lot of discussions going on about how Boston would pursue his relationship with Nick. First I'd like to side with the people who criticized his action when he spent a lot of time leading Nick on. He indeed did that and the scene I can give as an example was that one at the pool. Boston clearly said that he wanted to stop sleeping around so much because he'd rather fuck with someone who he could talk to. Now, he never said anything about being exclusive, but he knew how Nick felt and was manipulating the guy with his words so Nick could be more pliant. But I also agree with people saying that at that time he was already falling for Nick, just didn't know how to act upon it. He never felt like this before, it was all new to him.

When everything broke down (because of Sand) he felt so betrayed and more than that: heartbroken. He was already falling in love with Nick, he felt like he could be himself with Nick, so the punch hit hard. Now this is the moment when everything went wrong, including the narrative and the writer's view of the character. How come, in the middle of all these nasty young adults, the only one who gets kicked like he's nothing over and over again is the one who has a very active and out of the norm sex life? How dare them keep giving the majority part of the episodes to TopMew so they could develop that shitty plot line and cut it all all BostonNick/NeoMark scenes, the couple who actually needed the time?

A lot of things rubbed me the wrong way at the finale. The main one was the BostonBoeing situation. Not gonna lie, the kiss was insanely good, but there was no reason for it to happen. How come Boston was all lovey dovey towards Nick for at least two episodes, and like a sudden shift, he went all hoe mode (nothing against it honestly) and even talked about his boyfriend????? This doesn't make any sense. In the balcony scene, Boston TOLD Nick he would be the only one, and that's why people started to talk about how he could be monogamic. Then suddenly, someone who always defended himself by saying he never lied, just lies? Why didn't the writers put Boston and Nick to have a conversation about how things would work out? Open relationships are already very common, they could discuss some rules and limits. Nick could say that as Boston were about to leave in a few months he would feel better if it was exclusive and maybe Boston could accept it because it would be only for a few months and he loved Nick and he was leaving. Or Nick could try to understand and say what he wouldn't accept and they could try. It would be just for a moment, it's not like neither of them would have to become another person entirely. They. Could. Work. It. All.

The writers decided not to.

But bow down to Neo in his final scene. The emotion on his eyes. Wow. Boston was so sad, so miserable at this moment. He didn't deserve any of that.

They destroyed BostonNick to give the righteous couple, TopMew, the space and dedication so the audience would not be upset. F*ck me. If they wanted to please these people, why did they approve of Only Friends? Why didn't they turn TopMew's plot into a solo show or something? The whole narrative loved to make Mew stand out like the moral standard he thinks he is. But congratulations to Book! His acting made me dislike Mew entirely.

And I'd like to talk a little about Force. I felt like he did much better when he was acting opposed to anyone but Book. I didn't feel ForceBook's chemistry at all. But maybe it was just this time, I still have to watch their other works.

But that's it. I'm tired of being angry, I'll search fanfics to cure my broken heart.

Him not getting any of the brotherhoods anything, seperating the box (creating said brotherhoods that we know is a problem), an evil mastermind or at least seems to be, Flame hates him and tells us never trust him (mind you we are led to believe Flame is more of 'the good guy' between the both of them), being careless to the other eevees, manipulating(?) daisy, you mentioning one time that dusk will be hated by everymon and gets left behind (except by Vay and Dawn i'm pretty sure) in the future

This isn't dissing you in any way, i was just genuinely surprised to learn that you liked Dusk with how much you set him up to be someone we should hate

Dusk doing all of that and being evil was actually *drumroll plz* ... ... ... A COMPLETE ACCIDENT! One that I wasn't aware of until someone who read the comic told me! :D I as a kid just made him a Mary Sue who controlled everything and I didn't realize it! He was my favorite character actually. So then when I found out "shoot, all the things he does is actually kind of bad", I did start to dislike him, BUT YOU SEE, HE'S JUST TOO CUTE!!! And I feel sorry for him QwQ. He genuinely just wats everyone safe and only does what he does out of fear of losing control and bad things happening to everyone due to him not having said control again. Ofc, his actions are still unacceptable, but his motives are pure (most of the time). But yeah his actions are still REALLY REALLY BAD and theres no defending him at all. BUT I STILL VERY MUCH LOVE HIM DESPITE THESE ACTIONS. But he deserves everyone hating him.

But like. again, that again is another issue I personally have with SSEC, isn't it?

Dusk deserves to get punished for his actions. He lies, manipulates, and hurts everyone around him. And like, as things are right now. He def will. EVERYONE will leave him, and he'll be in the position he fears the most- being alone. TRULY alone. And no one is going to reach out their hand to help him because- why should any of them? He ruined their lives, lied to them, broke their trust, hurt the ones they love, etc etc.

But like.

I don't really want to write that anymore tbh. It would be really great to see, don't get me wrong, but like. hmm.

A story. There was a point of time where the active people in the Discord server hated on the main cast and only spoke of the In game eevees. i was hyped about them liking the eevees at first, but as time went on, people showed more and more animosity towards the main characters. It wasn't that these people hated the mains passionately, cause I'd love that. They just didn't care about them, they were apathetic. And these were the core fans that were active in the community daily. Now. I spent years and years crafting these characters and their personalities, so honestly this really hurt me. ^^; I over compensated and said things like "Oh yeah the mains are supposed to be assholes" and did things like focused more on the eevees rather than the mains. I was told things like "The main characters are just not likeable" or "I don't care about the mains, I care about (eevee who has no personality)" by these people who were big fans of my work, and just felt really really bad. Because- The main characters kind of deserve it. I made all of them have BIG flaws, i made all of them do awful things, so why not latch onto one note characters who have done no wrong? Characters who you can shape into anything because they are essentially a blank canvas. Either way, the whole experience made me not like the eevees much, something that I only came out of last year.

With the current trajectory of the series, ALL of the main characters will get exposed for all the shitty things they did and get punished for it. They are the leaders after all, the Politicians, you can say. They are the ones directly in the way of the happiness of the eevees. Their actions or Inactions directly cause mostly all of the issues in the box. They are kind of all the bad guys! Blizz gave the Icedrop leadership to Vay and beats up eevees, Vay is abusive to eevees in his own brotherhood, Bolt cant do anything without Dean and lets Dusk get away with the things he's doing, Flame just does nothing for his brotherhood, Dusk is a tyrant, Daisy is a loyal follower of said tyrant, Eve is a liar, Dawn beats up others and is NEVER THERE. LIKE! I don't blame anyone for not liking them, they are kind of all horrible if you look at it. But I still like them despite these negative traits, and like, I don't really want to write a story where they are the big bad evil guys. I don't want to write a story where the main characters loose all of their friends and hope and can't get any of them back due to their own shitty actions and just remains alone, the thing they fear the most. and I don't want everyone suffering due to the actions of these characters. I want more of well- things like this scrapped script:

Dusk: *Dusk is in the rain, his fur drenched and his spirit broken. As he walks back to the small tree he called home, he idly kicks at a pebble on the ground. Nearing the tree, he looses sight of the pebble, and he looks up, trying to use his arm to lift up the fur in his eyes.* ……? *There, he sees Blizz under his tree, holding an umbrella alone, He seemed to have been waiting for him a long time, as the glaceon was fidgeting with a leaf and there were a small pile of them on the ground next to him.* Blizz: *looks up excitedly, leaf forgotten, and waves at him* Hi Dusk!!! Blizz: … Dusk: CAN'T YOU USE YOUR TWO BRAINCELLS FOR ONCE AND SEE THAT I- Blizz: *He is suddenly holding the umbrella over Dusk, staring at him with intense teal eyes. He blinks* I don't care. Dusk: ... Blizz: I’m here because….. *he looks away, a lopsided frown on his face. He sighs* I know how it feels to be alone, and to have everyone seem like it’s against you. *he looks at Dusk* When it happened to me, when I was alone, when my brothers and when my friends left me and I had no one… you were always the one who held out their paw to me, and we would hang out, and you’d make me feel better. So… I wanna help you feel better too. *He smiles* and I want you to know… that you are not alone. Even if you think you are. I won’t abandon you. We're still best friends! ^^ Dusk: ... *after staring at Blizz like he's crazy, Dusk starts laughing, as tears still fell down his face* You are- an idiot, he says inbetween fits of sobs and laughs* Blizz: But I'm YOUR idiot! :D *Blizz smiles, as Dusk starts sobbing again*

But like- why would Blizz even forgive him? And even if he did, to get to this we have to slosh through a bunch of things, a civil war, a couple betrayals, more characters getting hurt, someone (not Dusk) getting disowned, more mains being frankly awful. And personally, I don't want to write that. That was never what SSEC was meant to be, but what it turned into due to poor planning. But that's what the hundreds of comics and thousands of writings have built up to, so I keep pushing on.

But I'm kind of tired of that.🙃

And if you are wondering why I keep talking about this stuff and not doing anything about it, the only reason why I'm talking about this stuff publicly is because I am in fact, doing something about it.

Trust is a weapon. It is the most expensive thing to exist in this world. It could take years to build but through one simple mistake, it only takes a few seconds to lose it.

James was a loyal man. Despite what he did for a living, he was a loyal man to those he loved. Once you were in his life, you were either with him or against him. Those against him never survived. If you were with him, you became invincible against the darkness. It's part of the reason why Natalia loved him as much as she did. But it's also what scared the hell out of her. If anyone crossed him, he'd bury them. And, she'd really fucking crossed him. Betraying him with his assistant, in the same bed they shared. On his favourite sheets.

She knew he was going to kill her the second he caught her. The minute she looked into his eyes, she just knew she was seconds away from dying. She quickly pulled away from the girl and covered herself up with the sheets. She closed her eyes, knowing what was coming. She didn't bother apologizing or begging for forgiveness, not because she was afraid to say anything but because she knew it was no use.

She flinched when she heard the door slam. She opened her eyes and noticed that he left. He left without saying a word. She looked outside her window, and saw James getting into his car. He drove away and didn't return until late at night.

She'd kicked out the girl by then and was waiting for him in the living room. She knew he was either drinking with Steve or trying to get back at her by sleeping with someone else. She knew she deserved it, especially after what she'd done.

She quickly got up from the couch when she heard the door open. She expected James to walk in but instead it was Steve. She sighed, walking back over to the couch.

"I know I fucked up, Steve. I don't wanna hear it from you."

"I'm here with a message from James. He said..." Steve looked down, already feeling bad about what he was going to say, "...he said leave, and if he ever sees you again he won't hesitate to shoot you this time."

Natalia looked outside her window one last time before starting to make her way upstairs. She wasn't oblivious, she knew it wasn't the storm that was making all that noise. She knew he was going to confront her after the stunt she'd pulled.

"You know you really should keep your back door locked. It's dangerous to leave it unlocked like that, especially with this weather." It was like deja vu. She was waiting for James but Steve was here instead. He really hated her.

"Well I knew James would come here, so I thought I'd leave that door open for him. Didn't want him breaking down any doors, my new neighbours are already kinda nosey." She grabbed the kettle off the counter, and started filling it up with water, "Why are you here? Where is he?"

"He's on his way. He uh, he doesn't know I'm here..." She looked up at him, confused by his confession. Surely, he wasn't here to warn her, was he?

"Did you come here to warn me or something?" She put the kettle down on the stove, turning it on high. He quietly nodded, taking a seat at the table.

"Look, I don't want him to hurt you. I know you still love him, but you broke his heart. And he was doing better with–"

"With that naive girl? Is she actually as innocent as she looks or are the doe eyes just an act?"

Steve ignored her question, "She makes him happy...and she really loves him."

"Does he love her? I don't care about her, does he love her?" She sighed, grabbing two mugs out of the cupboard. She placed tea bags in both of them, and filled them up with hot water.

"I think so..." He mumbled, looking away from her.

"I...I didn't come back to be with him. I don't love him anymore." She handed him one of the mugs and sat down at the table with hers "I'm just sick of not being able to move on with my life because he can't even face me. I just want him to sign the papers and I'll leave."

"You'll actually leave if he signs them?" He raised his eyebrows at her in disbelief, while slowly drinking the tea, "No mind games or any bullshit like that, you'll leave?"

"You have my word." She smiled, sipping on her own mug.

"Okay. I'll talk to him." Steve put down the empty mug, and took out his phone out to call James. He unlocked his phone and searched for James's contact as his vision started to blur a bit. He rubbed his eyes but continued to phone James. The first call didn't go through so he tried again. Soon, he couldn't even sit up straight at the table and looked up at Natalia. "What did you do?" He mumbled as he slowly closed his eyes and slumped back down in his chair.

"Hello? Steve?" She smiled, listening to James's voice as he finally picked up. She took the phone out of Steve's hand.

"Hi Sweetheart, don't bother coming over right now. I'm not sure you want to see Steve like this.

"Natalia...What did you do?"

"Nothing yet, he's alive don't worry. Come over tomorrow morning with your girl. I know you won't hurt me with her around. You wouldn't want her to see you for who you really are. This way I can be sure you won't try to kill me, plus i have Steve here as double assurance. Tomorrow morning, 8am. Do not be late."

Trust really is the ultimate weapon. Steve trusted Natalia. Unbeknownst to him, he trusted a version of her that was no longer there. After all, she knew James wasn't the only one responsible for killing the woman she'd been in love with. Natalia was the one who cheated, not her. She didn't deserve to die. Someone had to pay for her death. Lucky for her, it seemed that James had finally found someone that could pay the price.
