People loving android!Robin makes me so happy anansnssndsnsns she's curious and excitable and full of wonder and the world keeps punishing her for simply being alive. Sometimes it's too painful even for me, big whump lover 😭😭 though seriously, there is not enough Robin whump, and while all the characters in the show are very whumpeable, hurting my little blorbo Robin feels special because... she's just so deeply lonely. She's lonely and she thinks she deserves to be because of something wrong with her (pulling this interpretation from Surviving Hawkins lore which is canon to me 😭). That was a big idea I had when I first came up with android!Robin... that there is something wrong with her. Broken. In this AU she's literally broken in a lot of way (battery and memory problems, weak joints in her lower half, etc), but that's all within the range of normal robot problems. The real issue with her is that she's sentient. It terrifies people because it really brings out the existencial horror of... well, existing. It terrifies Robin most of all. She is the problem. She is what's wrong with her. She shouldn't exist.

But at the same time, she loves being alive so much! She doesn't understand it and doesn't know how it happened, but it happened, and now she's real and wants to experience life and the world and know people like human beings do. So it's her constant battle to become human despite humans having hurt her so much in the past... only for Nancy to already see her as human. Just one made of metal and plastic, but human nonetheless. She's the first person to see her that way and maybe everyone else thinks she's crazy, but Nancy is used to that. She's so sure of this, though, of Robin's self-awareness. She trusts her so blindly. She doesn't even need proof. And not only does she believe her, but she defends her humanity in front of her friends and family so ardently, fighting so hard for Robin to be aknowledged by everyone else as human. Fighting so hard to give her a home and family for the first time in her life.

Nancy has it bad for Robin, really. She's just so in love, even if everyone else thinks she's crazy for falling in love with a machine (no one thinks she is, though, because they all know Robin, and once you know Robin, it's impossible not to love her).

Hello, my name is Tofu and I'm a professional pixel artist. I have been supporting myself with freelance pixel art since 2020, when I was let go from my job during the pandemic.

My progress, from 2017 to 2024. IMO the only thing that really matters is time and effort, not some kind of natural talent for art.

This guide will not be comprehensive, as nobody should be expected to read allat. Instead I will lean heavily on my own experience, and share what worked for me, so take everything with a grain of salt. This is a guide, not a tutorial. Cheers!

🔹 Do I need money?

NO!!! Pixel art is one of the most accessible mediums out there.

I still use a mouse because I prefer it to a tablet! You won't be at any disadvantage here if you can't afford the best hardware or software.

Because our canvases are typically very small, you don't need a good PC to run a good brush engine or anything like that.

✨Did you know? One of the most skilled and beloved pixel artists uses MS PAINT! Wow!!

🔹 What software should I use?

Here are some of the most popular programs I see my friends and peers using. Stars show how much I recommend the software for beginners! ⭐

💰 Paid options:

⭐⭐⭐ Aseprite (for PC) - $19.99

This is what I and many other pixel artists use. You may find when applying to jobs that they require some knowledge of Aseprite. Since it has become so popular, companies like that you can swap raw files between artists.

Aseprite is amazingly customizable, with custom skins, scripts and extensions on Itch.io, both free and paid.

If you have ever used any art software before, it has most of the same features and should feel fairly familiar to use. It features a robust animation suite and a tilemap feature, which have saved me thousands of hours of labour in my work. The software is also being updated all the time, and the developers listen to the users. I really recommend Aseprite!

⭐ Photoshop (for PC) - Monthly $$

A decent option for those who already are used to the PS interface. Requires some setup to get it ready for pixel-perfect art, but there are plenty of tutorials for doing so.

Animation is also much more tedious on PS which you may want to consider before investing time!

⭐⭐ ProMotion NG (for PC) - $19.00

An advanced and powerful software which has many features Aseprite does not, including Colour Cycling and animated tiles.

⭐⭐⭐ Pixquare (for iOS) - $7.99 - $19.99 (30% off with code 'tofu'!!)

Probably the best app available for iPad users, in active development, with new features added all the time.

Look! My buddy Jon recommends it highly, and uses it often.

One cool thing about Pixquare is that it takes Aseprite raw files! Many of my friends use it to work on the same project, both in their office and on the go.

⭐ Procreate (for iOS) - $12.99

If you have access to Procreate already, it's a decent option to get used to doing pixel art. It does however require some setup. Artist Pixebo is famously using Procreate, and they have tutorials of their own if you want to learn.

⭐⭐ ReSprite iOS and Android. (free trial, but:) $19.99 premium or $$ monthly

ReSprite is VERY similar in terms of UI to Aseprite, so I can recommend it. They just launched their Android release!

🆓 Free options:

⭐⭐⭐ Libresprite (for PC)

Libresprite is an alternative to Aseprite. It is very, very similar, to the point where documentation for Aseprite will be helpful to Libresprite users.

⭐⭐ Pixilart (for PC and mobile)

A free in-browser app, and also a mobile app! It is tied to the website Pixilart, where artists upload and share their work. A good option for those also looking to get involved in a community.

⭐⭐ Dotpict (for mobile)

Dotpict is similar to Pixilart, with a mobile app tied to a website, but it's a Japanese service. Did you know that in Japanese, pixel art is called 'Dot Art'? Dotpict can be a great way to connect with a different community of pixel artists! They also have prompts and challenges often.

🔹 So I got my software, now what?

◽Nice! Now it's time for the basics of pixel art.

❗ WAIT ❗ Before this section, I want to add a little disclaimer. All of these rules/guidelines can be broken at will, and some 'no-nos' can look amazing when done intentionally.

The pixel-art fundamentals can be exceedingly helpful to new artists, who may feel lost or overwhelmed by choice. But if you feel they restrict you too harshly, don't force yourself! At the end of the day it's your art, and you shouldn't try to contort yourself into what people think a pixel artist 'should be'. What matters is your own artistic expression. 💕👍

◽Phew! With that out of the way...

🔸"The Rules"

There are few hard 'rules' of pixel art, mostly about scaling and exporting. Some of these things will frequently trip up newbies if they aren't aware, and are easy to overlook.

🔹Scaling method

There are a couple ways of scaling your art. The default in most art programs, and the entire internet, is Bi-linear scaling, which usually works out fine for most purposes. But as pixel artists, we need a different method.

Both are scaled up x10. See the difference?

On the left is scaled using Bilinear, and on the right is using Nearest-Neighbor. We love seeing those pixels stay crisp and clean, so we use nearest-neighbor. 

(Most pixel-art programs have nearest-neighbor enabled by default! So this may not apply to you, but it's important to know.)

🔹Mixels

Mixels are when there are different (mixed) pixel sizes in the same image.

Here I have scaled up my art- the left is 200%, and the right is 150%. Yuck!

As we can see, the "pixel" sizes end up different. We generally try to scale our work by multiples of 100 - 200%, 300% etc. rather than 150%. At larger scales however, the minute differences in pixel sizes are hardly noticeable!

Mixels are also sometimes seen when an artist scales up their work, then continues drawing on it with a 1 pixel brush.

Many would say that this is not great looking! This type of pixels can be indicative of a beginner artist. But there are plenty of creative pixel artists out there who mixels intentionally, making something modern and cool.

🔹Saving Your Files

We usually save our still images as .PNGs as they don’t create any JPEG artifacts or loss of quality. It's a little hard to see here, but there are some artifacts, and it looks a little blurry. It also makes the art very hard to work with if we are importing a JPEG.

For animations .GIF is good, but be careful of the 256 colour limit. Try to avoid using too many blending mode layers or gradients when working with animations. If you aren’t careful, your animation could flash afterwards, as the .GIF tries to reduce colours wherever it can. It doesn’t look great!

Here's an old piece from 2021 where I experienced .GIF lossiness, because I used gradients and transparency, resulting in way too many colours.

As far as I'm concerned, this is THE tutorial of all time for understanding pixel art. These are techniques created and named by the community of people who actually put the list together, some of the best pixel artists alive currently. Please read it!!

🔸How To Learn

Okay, so you have your software, and you're all ready to start. But maybe you need some more guidance? Try these tutorials and resources! It can be helpful to work along with a tutorial until you build your confidence up.

⭐⭐ Pixel Logic (A Digital Book) - $10 A very comprehensive visual guide book by a very skilled and established artist in the industry. I own a copy myself.

⭐⭐⭐ StudioMiniBoss - free A collection of visual tutorials, by the artist that worked on Celeste! When starting out, if I got stuck, I would go and scour his tutorials and see how he did it.

⭐ Lospec Tutorials - free A very large collection of various tutorials from all over the internet. There is a lot to sift through here if you have the time.

⭐⭐⭐ Cyangmou's Tutorials - free (tipping optional) Cyangmou is one of the most respected and accomplished modern pixel artists, and he has amassed a HUGE collection of free and incredibly well-educated visual tutorials. He also hosts an educational stream every week on Twitch called 'pixelart for beginners'.

⭐⭐⭐ Youtube Tutorials - free There are hundreds, if not thousands of tutorials on YouTube, but it can be tricky to find the good ones. My personal recommendations are MortMort, Brandon, and AdamCYounis- these guys really know what they're talking about!

🔸 How to choose a canvas size

When looking at pixel art turorials, we may see people suggest things like 16x16, 32x32 and 64x64. These are standard sizes for pixel art games with tiles. However, if you're just making a drawing, you don't necessarily need to use a standard canvas size like that.

What I like to think about when choosing a canvas size for my illustrations is 'what features do I think it is important to represent?' And make my canvas as small as possible, while still leaving room for my most important elements.

Imagine I have characters in a scene like this:

I made my canvas as small as possible (232 x 314), but just big enough to represent the features and have them be recognizable (it's Good Omens fanart 😤)!! If I had made it any bigger, I would be working on it for ever, due to how much more foliage I would have to render.

If you want to do an illustration and you're not sure, just start at somewhere around 100x100 - 200x200 and go from there.

It's perfectly okay to crop your canvas, or scale it up, or crunch your art down at any point if you think you need a different size. I do it all the time! It only takes a bit of cleanup to get you back to where you were.

🔸Where To Post

Outside of just regular socials, Twitter, Tumblr, Deviantart, Instagram etc, there are a few places that lean more towards pixel art that you might not have heard of.

⭐ Lospec Lospec is a low-res focused art website. Some pieces get given a 'monthly masterpiece' award. Not incredibly active, but I believe there are more features being added often.

⭐⭐ Pixilart Pixilart is a very popular pixel art community, with an app tied to it. The community tends to lean on the young side, so this is a low-pressure place to post with an relaxed vibe.

⭐⭐ Pixeljoint Pixeljoint is one of the big, old-school pixel art websites. You can only upload your art unscaled (1x) because there is a built-in zoom viewer. It has a bit of a reputation for being elitist (back in the 00s it was), but in my experience it's not like that any more. This is a fine place for a pixel artist to post if they are really interested in learning, and the history. The Hall of Fame has some of the most famous / impressive pixel art pieces that paved the way for the work we are doing today.

⭐⭐⭐ Cafe Dot Cafe Dot is my art server so I'm a little biased here. 🍵 It was created during the recent social media turbulence. We wanted a place to post art with no algorithms, and no NFT or AI chuds. We have a heavy no-self-promotion rule, and are more interested in community than skill or exclusivity. The other thing is that we have some kind of verification system- you must apply to be a Creator before you can post in the Art feed, or use voice. This helps combat the people who just want to self-promo and dip, or cause trouble, as well as weed out AI/NFT people. Until then, you are still welcome to post in any of the threads or channels. There is a lot to do in Cafe Dot. I host events weekly, so check the threads!

⭐⭐/r/pixelart The pixel art subreddit is pretty active! I've also heard some of my friends found work through posting here, so it's worth a try if you're looking. However, it is still Reddit- so if you're sensitive to rude people, or criticism you didn't ask for, you may want to avoid this one. Lol

🔸 Where To Find Work

You need money? I got you! As someone who mostly gets scouted on social media, I can share a few tips with you:

Put your email / portfolio in your bio Recruiters don't have all that much time to find artists, make it as easy as possible for someone to find your important information!

Clean up your profile If your profile feed is all full of memes, most people will just tab out rather than sift through. Doesn't apply as much to Tumblr if you have an art tag people can look at.

Post regularly, and repost Activity beats everything in the social media game. It's like rolling the dice, and the more you post the more chances you have. You have to have no shame, it's all business baby

Outside of just posting regularly and hoping people reach out to you, it can be hard to know where to look. Here are a few places you can sign up to and post around on.

/r/INAT INAT (I Need A Team) is a subreddit for finding a team to work with. You can post your portfolio here, or browse for people who need artists.

/r/GameDevClassifieds Same as above, but specifically for game-related projects.

Remote Game Jobs / Work With Indies Like Indeed but for game jobs. Browse them often, or get email notifications.

VGen VGen is a website specifically for commissions. You need a code from another verified artist before you can upgrade your account and sell, so ask around on social media or ask your friends. Once your account is upgraded, you can make a 'menu' of services people can purchase, and they send you an offer which you are able to accept, decline, or counter.

The evil websites of doom: Fiverr and Upwork I don't recommend them!! They take a big cut of your profit, and the sites are teeming with NFT and AI people hoping to make a quick buck. The site is also extremely oversaturated and competitive, resulting in a race to the bottom (the cheapest, the fastest, doing the most for the least). Imagine the kind of clients who go to these websites, looking for the cheapest option. But if you're really desperate...

🔸 Community

I do really recommend getting involved in a community. Finding like-minded friends can help you stay motivated to keep drawing. One day, those friends you met when you were just starting out may become your peers in the industry. Making friends is a game changer!

Discord servers Nowadays, the forums of old are mostly abandoned, and people split off into many different servers. Cafe Dot, Pixel Art Discord (PAD), and if you can stomach scrolling past all the AI slop, you can browse Discord servers here.

Twitch Streams Twitch has kind of a bad reputation for being home to some of the more edgy gamers online, but the pixel art community is extremely welcoming and inclusive. Some of the people I met on Twitch are my friends to this day, and we've even worked together on different projects! Browse pixel art streams here, or follow some I recommend: NickWoz, JDZombi, CupOhJoe, GrayLure, LumpyTouch, FrankiePixelShow, MortMort, Sodor, NateyCakes, NyuraKim, ShinySeabass, I could go on for ever really... There are a lot of good eggs on Pixel Art Twitch.

🔸 Other Helpful Websites

Palettes Lospec has a huge collection of user-made palettes, for any artist who has trouble choosing their colours, or just wants to try something fun. Rejected Palettes is full of palettes that didn't quite make it onto Lospec, ran by people who believe there are no bad colours.

The Spriters Resource TSR is an incredible website where users can upload spritesheets and tilesets from games. You can browse for your favourite childhood game, and see how they made it! This website has helped me so much in understanding how game assets come together in a scene.

VGMaps Similar to the above, except there are entire maps laid out how they would be played. This is incredible if you have to do level design, or for mocking up a scene for fun.

Game UI Database Not pixel-art specific, but UI is a very challenging part of graphics, so this site can be a game-changer for finding good references!

Retronator A digital newspaper for pixel-art lovers! New game releases, tutorials, and artworks!

Itch.io A website where people can upload, games, assets, tools... An amazing hub for game devs and game fans alike. A few of my favourite tools: Tiled, PICO-8, Pixel Composer, Juice FX, Magic Pencil for Aseprite

Hazbin + Detroit Become Human AU??

oh boy youtube out of blue recommended me detroit videos and my brain immediately went WHAT IF CROSSOVER??

So, Alastor was (one of) the first android to develop a deviation. He lived with a married couple, although their marrige wasn't happy. The woman treated him well and he loved her as a mother, while her husband was most of the time drunk or on drugs, and physically abuses her. Alastor didn't see that much. The last time went horrybly, the man killed his wife, and Alastor couldn't bare with it, deviated nd killed the man in revenge. Then he burned the house down with both bodies inside and ran away. Police couldn't find any clues and the case was forgotten. Alastor started a life as a human, became a radio host, but couldn't stop thinking of how easily he got away with the murder. And he desided to kill more people, because he was bored. He carefully plans his murders, sometimes he messes with the police giving them wrong clues and wrapping everything onto itself, or leading to someone else. When deviations become more frequent, he started staging murders by androids, it was more risky but also more fun for him. He loves talking about his own murders on the radio.

He consideres himself better than both humans and androids, even those who has deviation as well. He doesn't care about freedom for all androids, and even owns few himself - Husk (and probably Niffty) (mostly to make it less suspicious that he has biocomponents and android blood at home). He also likes to vist android dump and look for working components (he sells what he can't use for himself).

Writing Notes: Action Story

Great action writing draws in your audience, getting their adrenaline pumping as they turn the page.

Elements of a Good Action Story

There are many elements that come together to form a good action story and allow you to tell your own story in your own perfect way:

Sentence length. Writing action scenes involves knowing how to pace the narrative so that readers are fed the action at a steady and satisfying speed. If your action sequences are built with long-winded sentences full of verbs and descriptions, it will likely confuse and overwhelm your audience. Shorter sentences get to the point more simply, delivering the visual quickly and efficiently, cutting down on bulky filler words.

Active voice. Keeping the narrative voice active keeps up the momentum of your story. Readers see how the main characters are actively working and reacting in their environment in what feels like real time, packing more punch into the syntax and keeping the narrative lively.

Character goals. Action should occur for a reason—characters’ actions should be based on their motivations, their points of view, and their previous choices. A protagonist’s actions should always propel them towards their main goal in a way that is related to the plot events at hand. A character’s goals affect their character development, forcing them to change and evolve depending on the way events unfold in your story.

Consequences. Action can be fun to see unfold, but without the element of danger or a potentially disastrous outcome, it lacks that exciting element that keeps audiences on the edges of their seats. Action writing should make the audience feel like something could happen to the hero at any moment, without being overwhelmed with events and losing their place in the narrative.

Tips for Writing Effective Action Scenes

Show cause and effect. From the first time your character receives their call to action, follow up activity with the consequences of their decision. Sometimes the character is causing the action to occur, and other times they’re reeling from action that just occurred. Moments can also be built up so that the cause of certain effects or the effects themselves aren’t realized in their entirety until much later.

Create visuals. Use action in a concise, impactful manner in order to deliver strong images for the audience. The clearer your scenes are, the more easily the audience can understand and absorb them. You don’t want readers or viewers to be hung up on seemingly impossible details or sequences that don’t flow. Visuals that get right to the point and can be quickly understood are best for conveying action.

Drive the story forward. In a great story, the moments in between where the action is happening should still feel alive and like the story is always progressing. Even if your hero isn’t facing off against the villain just yet, the scenes without action should still be driven by the character’s goals—readers or viewers may become disinterested by a sudden slump in energy and stagnancy to the writing. Use montage, flashbacks, or other story writing techniques to keep up the pace while delivering necessary narrative information.

Keep action moments short. Action-adventure stories have many moments of high-intensity activity, and it’s best that they happen in short spurts so that the reader does not get exhausted with high-octane events. The battle against the rogue android in your science fiction action story shouldn’t be one scene that’s 50 pages long—the readers need a breather once in a while in order to reset the intensity and have it built back up for them all over again.

Use effective language. When you write a fight scene or a chase scene, the action is moving quickly, so your language should too. Short sentences packed with powerful images that move at a logical pace are useful in conveying strong action sequences that are easy to visualize. A character should bolt to their destination, not just run. Specific diction can make all the difference in how the action of your story is perceived and how your story is experienced overall.

HERE'S THE THING THOUGH OKAY the problem is actually that they're both too smart about their feelings. you've got me down a horrible rabbit hole okay let me do my best to explain without being a freak(reading this back over, i failed <3).

Xisuma takes longer to realize, first of all. He's got so much to deal with coming out of s8 and through the beginning of s9 that quite frankly he's really just grateful to have another friend he can count on and trust, and he's so consumed by getting the androids back in working order on top of his actual season 9 plans (on top of Cleo shoving self care down his throat and demanding that he make a better habit of taking breaks and taking care of himself, which takes a LONG time to adjust to, if it can be argued that he ever does) that he doesn't really realize he's developed feelings for Doc until his heart beats him over the head with it randomly one day. Probably sometime in S10. Even then, because of said busy-ness, I think Xisuma has a very hard time getting over the meta-ness of a creator developing feelings for his creation and the selfishness of that reality amidst all of his other responsibilities, and he is likely too scared/overwhelmed to entertain the thought of the feelings themselves, much less the likelihood of reciprocation or the fantasy of a relationship.

Doc, on the other hand, realizes he is developing feelings for Xisuma kind of steadily throughout the course of s9, since that's when they start spending so much more time together in the lab working on androids and improving android tech. As a general statement, Doc is very aware of himself, all of the time. His awareness of the self is very important to his sense of normalcy and control, so any time he experiences a new emotion, he notes it, logs it.

So, while he's very aware of the feelings he's developing as they happen, he doesn't quite put a name to it/realize what it actually is until he talks to Tango and Etho, funnily enough--It's definitely one of those moments where Tango or Etho or whomever are explaining their struggles with the physical manifestations of their... idk, lovesickness-- ie, thirium pump rate irregularities, temperature fluctuations, influxes of feelings they've described as a combination of longing, affection, want, happiness, yearning... and Doc, as the unbiased third party to put 2 and 2 together, explains to them that those are obvious signs of romantic attraction, only very belatedly realizing several hours later that those are the exact symptoms he hasn't quite been able to put a name to. Naturally he's exceptional about being quiet about this realization until he slips up during a maintenance check-in with Tango sometime after, who is not doing well in s9, and Tango (mid romance-ranting) catches the passing of a wistful expression on Doc's face and calls him out for "totally thinking about someone right now" (Teasing aside, tango promises to keep Doc's secret).

So, despite knowing well his feelings before X ever develops his own, Doc is actually very, very careful about them-- He knows more than anyone else how busy Xisuma is. He knows how stressed X is. He also knows Xisuma seems to be more knowledgeable when it comes to emotions and feelings, and despite the clear signs that Xisuma shows interest(?) in him as well, Doc can only assume there is a good reason nothing romantic has happened between them-- he trusts Xisuma more than anything, and he--firmly-- will not breach this trust by acting on something Xisuma does not seem to be ready for (or does not seem to want yet(yet?)). Therefore, Doc is patient, and even though as Season 10 develops and Doc becomes aware of the likelihood that Xisuma could return the feelings, he trusts Xisuma's emotional intuition more than anything. He, painfully, recognizes Xisuma's discomfort (or hesitation), concludes that there must be a missing variable in this equation he cannot grasp, and decides to let Xisuma lead because of it. He will not push farther than he feels Xisuma has.

It's definitely one of those "fell first" "fell harder" type situations I think. I'm normal about them. can you tell

LU Detroit Become Human/Android AU

I should start this by saying that I’ve never played the game myself but I really love the concept! I do apologize if things are messy though, this really just spilled out of me 😭 for anyone who doesn’t really know Detroit Become Human, it’s basically a future America where a huge company makes hyper realistic androids who have different jobs. They all have the ability to deviate which is basically just them breaking past their coding and developing a conscience/sentience (and I would say a soul). The company obviously doesn’t like this and tries to stop this. If anything, this is just my take on an Android AU.

Anyways, here’s it in context of LU

Sky: Bodyguard Android

starts to deviate when he starts forming an attachment to Sun

She gets kidnapped in a political scheme. His handlers try to bench him but he fully deviates and goes out by himself to find her. 

He’s probably a newer model or gets upgraded regularly. Sun is sentimental so she tries to make sure to keep him because he’s familiar in her busy life. (She’s the daughter to the president or whoever the head of state is)

He manages to find and rescue Sun but not without suffering a lot of damage. Especially electrical damage.

Sun is touched. She doesn’t care that her savior is an android at all and she especially doesn’t care that Sky is deviated. She loves him too. She tells him that she could always tell that he was different…

It pains her, breaks her heart, but she sends Sky away for his own good.

Four: Different androids downloaded into a child model 

Four is the combination of 4 different deviated androids uploaded into a child model. 

Red, Blue, Green, and Vio (these are like perfect names for robots) all “worked” in the same company. It’s like a big sales department or something like that. 

Red is a nanny bot for the building’s daycare, Blue is a security bot, Green is a secretary bot, and Vio is basically a filing bot

They all deviate separately. When it’s found that they’re deviating they’re all destroyed on company grounds and dumped in the landfill. (It’s cheaper to do this rather than send them back)

Green managed to wake up. He’s broken beyond repair but he manages to spot an empty child android near their dumping spot. He takes pity on the others and somehow manages to upload them all into one body.

Shadow is a virus in the bot they all share. He got so big that somehow he developed a consciousness of his own. (Probably the reason the model was discarded in the first place. Imagine you’re grieving so you get a child android and it starts going ‘evil mode’)

Somehow they all make this work, Shadow included.

Time: Repurposed as a farm Android

Time started out as a child android but was recycled to be used in a small military project. 

This project is the predecessor to the one Wars is in so it’s mostly just an experiment.

Time starts to deviate because whoever was supposed to wipe all of his previous hardware, THE CHILD HARDWARE, messed up and left a good portion of it behind along with his memory bank. 

So now Time is basically child coding in an adult model being forced to learn how to commit acts of violence. It doesn’t mesh well with his former programs and he deviates. 

He escapes and immediately gets swiped up and sold to a pawn shop.

Eventually Talon buys him for extra hands on his ranch.

Time starts to really enjoy this. He takes to the farm lifestyle really well. Malon also is really great. He loves having a friend. 

As she grows, he finally gets to grow, mentally at least. It’s a weird experience for him because a good amount of his programming was never meant to grow past a child state. 

Malon and Talon realize that he’s a deviant and probably has been for a long time. They don’t care and vow to protect him. He���s family. 

Malon and Time fall in love and take over the ranch. Slowly it becomes a safe space for other deviants.

Twilight: Officer Android (Turned wolf)

Twilight is an officer android at a women’s prison. 

A lot of the people there actually like Twilight a lot because he is not cruel or condescending like a lot of the human officers and he’s kind of easy to get stuff out of.

They can mess with Twilight’s programming enough to get extra stuff from the commissary or help with their jobs. Twilight is very helpful. He’s also programmed to know their rights and local social programs so he’s very useful to have around before court dates.

Midna is an android activist who had gotten incarcerated. She slowly gets Twilight to trust her and eventually convinces him to help her break out. He doesn’t realize it, but she’s been slowly getting him to deviate as well. 

When the break out happens, Midna gets away and Twilight gets captured. She feels awful knowing that he’s likely going to be destroyed.

Instead he’s used in some experiments where they try to plant human focused hardware into android (can androids be animals???) animals. They put him into a wolf dog that would usually be meant to assist police. 

This is a miserable experience for Twilight, especially now that he’s deviated.

Midna, who’s poked around to see if she can save Twilight from being pulverized, stages a rescue mission and gets him out. She sends him somewhere she things will be safe.

Wind: Child Model in a retirement home

Wind is a child android that’s used in a retirement home to bring joy and to lift the spirits of the residents there. 

At first he doesn’t even realize that he’s deviated until Granny, his secret favorite resident, mentions it to him. Turns out a lot of the old folks knew but they didn’t care bc Wind is so charming and they really do love him.

For a while he continues as normal, just with the knowledge that he’s loved. If anything he performs better. 

One day Ayrll, the granddaughter of Granny, is visiting. Another resident gets really confused and tries to grab her, hurting and scaring her. Wind uses physical force to separate them, something not in his coding at all.

The retirement home doesn’t want to do extra paperwork so they get rid of Wind by tying him up and dropping him off a boat. (The retirement home is on the ocean)

Tetra later fishes him up and brings him back online. 

Tetra is very happy to have a “maid bot” which pisses Wind off a lot. She lives in a multigenerational home so she’s excited to do less chores. 

They all figure out that Wind is deviated but they don’t care. They all take him under their wing and fully still expect him to do chores

Legend: Standard Household Android 

Legend is an earlier model of a household Android. He’s been bought and sold 6 DIFFERENT times.

The first time was from his uncle who didn’t actually want him for his programming. He was a lonely old man and Legend was on sale. He treats Legend like a person and when he passes away Legend starts to deviate. 

Legend is auctioned off in an estate sale and some people from outside the country buy him. He travels around with a group that does environmental work and performs aid programs for a while. Everyone there also treats him pretty friendly. On a boat ride back to the mainland a storm hits and Legend goes overboard trying to protect people on the deck.

He washes up on a small island where a girl Marin finds him and repairs him. She, and nobody on the island, treats him like an android at all. He fully deviates and enjoys living like a person. The storm comes back and decimates the island. Marin is gone.

The people who come to offer aid recognize Legend as a deviated android and ship him back to be tested on. 

There he meets Ravio, who is the same exact model as him. Ravio is meant to be compared to Legend so they can study differences in deviant and non deviant androids. 

Legend manages to escape wherever they’re keeping him one day and bumps into Ravio during his attempt to escape. Ravio has never left the series of offices he first woke up in. He’s not fully deviated but he wants to know freedom. He and Legend escape together. 

Hyrule: Medical Android (hospital setting)

Hyrule is one of the first medical androids. Unlike the more modern medical androids, he has a lot of built in programs and functions that newer models don’t have.

He has a built in defibrillator, inhaler, but most uniquely he can make drugs and medicine on the spot. These would be things that paramedics tend to carry like morphine,epinephrine, ketamine. Also more simple things like cold medicines.

His kind was discontinued due to a lot of legal actions taken by companies under big pharma. It’s too convenient, and cheap, to have robots who are programmed to help anybody in need distributing drugs for free. Also some issues with drug dealers stealing his model to have them continuously producing drugs to sell.

He gets discarded, thankfully through illegal means so instead of being sent to a processing facility he’s dumped behind the hospital in a dumpster. 

He spends years wandering the streets in shadier parts of the city aiding people who need it. He doesn’t know when he deviated but it happened slowly. 

He’s hunted by both gangs who want to use him to make drugs. He’s also hunted by the corporation that made him believe that older models that have deviated hold vital information to how it happens in the first place and he’s part of the last of his kind so they want to dissect him. 

Warriors: Soldier Android (Secret military project)

Warriors is part of a military project to use androids as soldiers. This is probably breaking a lot of international treaties so it’s kept as a secret. 

He was meant to be a “captain” Android, one that can over power other android’s programming to control them.

One of the people working on the project becomes infatuated with him. Cia 😭. She steals him and takes him home. 

This is nowhere near as fun as she thought it would be because he doesn’t have a lot of social programming. He just walks around her house and barks orders at the microwave and tells her what strategies they can use if her apartment is attacked.

She buys pleasure bot hardware that has a “boyfriend” program on it because this is becoming unbearable.

Uploading the hardware causes Wars to IMMEDIATELY deviate because this is not at all what he was built to do. It actually corrupts some of his programming.

He’s confused and scared while Cia is exuberant. Finally she has a proper boyfriend. She can ignore the glitching and bugs because at least Wars isn’t yelling at her computer anymore. 

Unfortunately for her, Wars was developed to be a strategic war machine, boyfriend hardware or not, so he identifies her as a threat because she hurt him. His new hardware, however, makes him not want to hurt her. So, he runs away.

Wild: Lab Assistant Android

Wild was an assistant to some brilliant scientists in a lab and engineering facility.

He worked primarily with Flora who treated him like a robot in every way. She’s kind of creeped out by the idea of androids so she’s not really fond of having one around her all the time. He is useful though. 

Her coworkers treat the android a lot more humanly than she does for a while. Eventually she gets used to him and starts getting kinder and kinder. 

Wild starts to deviate but he desperately tries to hide it. He really enjoys the time he gets to spend with his friends.

One day something goes wrong and the lab starts to explode. Wild fully deviates to rescue Flora. He’s able to get her out just in the nick of time. He gets stuck inside though after a wall collapses and traps half of his body under rubble. He yells at her to run and so she does.

Wild comes back online with his memory files damaged or gone and half of his body melted and severely damaged. He can’t remember anything but he feels like a person. 

Eventually everyone ends up together on Time’s ranch but I really haven’t thought out a story ;•_•

 I hope this isn’t a confusing or messy read 😭 it really just kind of poured out of me. I’m aware there’s like a crazy amount of plot holes but I had a ton of fun writing this!! I might go back later and rewrite or try and clean this up. If you have any thoughts, questions, suggestions, (how to fill said plot holes 😭) please lmk!! I thrive off of interaction!!! Of all the things that could happen, you never really took this scenario as a possibility.

No dreams that it would end this way.

It was more like the endless awards you could potentially hold in your hands and touch that cool steel at your fingertips, where you’d receive praise for all your back breaking work.

But not the fact that being in advanced robotics would lead the very android you took three years creating would grow a consciousness… and one that would develop a fondness for you that far transcended a typical android to human relationship.

The Gojo model had all the behavioural inhibitors and processors to stop this from happening, to prevent him learning too quickly while in his trial phase. Yet it surpassed all expectations and made it known just how dangerous off it was.

Hence why you were running from it in the first place.

You were foolish.

Pathetically blinded by rose tint to forsaken your future right down the gutter amongst the people most remembered for their fuck ups. Yes. You would not be remembered for your accomplishments, but rather your nuclear miscalculations on your android who lost his mind and killed a man on live television.

And now it was looking for you.

How you managed to find your way off of the back stage and chose the right turns to wind back up into the labs was quite honestly a miracle. You dropped down to the floor and bought your knees up to make yourself as small as possible behind a lab counter. There wasn’t much cover between rooms, only a side door you had to make your way towards.

You’d move as soon as you could collect yourself and remove the blood from your face as best you could. Looking down at your shoes, your laces had somehow accumulated dots of sprayed blood and brain matter.

A huff of exacerbation was all you could muster as you kicked and let your shoes squeak on the linoleum to get another person's brain off of you. It did not belong there. It belonged in his head before the Gojo model punched his fist through the back of it.

So much blood. The screams, blaring lockdown siren and live bodies collecting at the doors to the back of the auditorium. So much… panic. All the while the android was calm and collected.

Way too much blood that wouldn’t come off.

Adrenaline was the only thing keeping you going right now, letting your heart pump straight into your throat to keep you salivating and ensuring there was oxygen in your lungs; though there was nothing to calm your hands and stop them from shaking.

It proved difficult to keep your breaths quiet when the door to the lab of the east wing opened. So close and scattered. It slammed and the hushed huffs made it clear that it wasn’t the Gojo model at least.

“Jesus! What the fuck- what the fuck!” It was a colleague of yours.

Maybe he could help in some way? You scrambled up and slapped the palm of your hand on the cool surface to louder than you realised when you steadied yourself.

He turned as quickly as humanly possible. “Who’s that?! Oh… Shit.”

You weren’t sure how he’d received you by the display in the auditorium. His stance wasn’t aggressive, but it was abrupt. “What the fuck went wrong out there? You said you had this covered!”

“I-I thought I did! Don’t shout at me, okay? I’m trying to think and I can’t get this blood off of me-” You were scrubbing your face red raw by now, the pristine sleeve of your lab coat had evolved to a more pinkish hue.

That stupid lock down alarm splitting through your ears wouldn’t shut off.

He paced back and forth, leaving a table between you. “There’s gotta be something to shut that thing down, what are its systems looking like right now?” 

“‘Oh… Right.” You rummaged into your pocket and blinked rapidly to get focus for the screen of the portable touch screen.

Numbers and flitting levels were off of the charts. You should have seen these spikes coming. They were all there but they were invisible. Satoru Gojo 12071989 left traces of a data breach in his system.

“Three weeks ago?”

“Huh?- let me see that.” Your colleague snatched the unit from your hand and glared at it. “It by passed the behavioural inhibitors three weeks ago and you said nothing?!”

“No!” You begged and reached for the touch screen. “I-I didn't, it showed no signs that it had bypassed any code I wrote into it and I looked over the system data an hour ago and there was nothing. I promise. Please, you have to believe me!”

He scoffed, his voice just as ear piercing as the alarm. “You expect me to believe that?! So what, you’re saying it’s been acting this whole time and you had no idea? Don’t fucking make me laugh!”

“I didn’t have any idea it would do this.” You managed to snatch it back from him this time and tapped away at the numbers and letters as quickly as your brain would allow.

The fact was that it sat right there in the palm of his hand. All the data to suggest that the Gojo model had completely rewritten his own code by itself. Something that no other android to date had ever done. Not the other models in the other sublevels for domestic or even military testing. Not even the three previous Gojo models that failed the initial phases before even being introduced to the board of directors for domestic testing.

The Gojo model was a complete prototype and it had rewritten its fucking entire code.

“I don’t know what to do. It’s put up a firewall that’s triple locked. I don’t have the clearance for to pass it-”

“You dumb fucking bitch.” He said, rubbing his face with his hand. His creased lab coat was still clean and lacking any red on its stitches. “You better go out there and find someone who can then. Because if that thing gets out, then not only are the Corporation coming for you, they’re coming for all of us and I don’t feel like going to prison for blowing this whole shit storm out of the water.”

Just the mention of the Corporation made your skin crawl. An unknown entity that patrolled all advanced robotics projects and kept it silent from the media and the general public.

People had gone missing.

“Go out there?” You watched the glass out into the hallway that led out back towards the auditorium.

“Now.”

You were frozen, feet stuck on the smooth floor. If you went out there, what if you went missing too? “But…Will you come with me?”

“This isn’t fucking kindergarten- I’m not getting the back of my head fucking caved in because you're being a wuss. Get the fuck out there now!”

Abruptness shifted aggressively to violence. He slammed his fist on the top of the table which made you jump and distracted you for just a moment. And then he had a hold of you.

“No, no, no, no, no! Please don’t make me go out there- let’s go the other way and use the main computer. Please, I don't want to die!” Your voice fell on deaf ears under the heavy weight of the red flashing alarm on the wall out in the hallway.

This was all your fault, but you only wanted to do good and help people. You signed up for research in helping those who required support in the home domestically. Not curbing a murderous android with an interest in humans.

“Get the fuck out there and do it, or the thing out there will be the least of your worries!”

He managed you out of the protection of the glass door and pushed you out. Though he still had a hold of you, neither of you realised that you hadn’t fully shaken the brain matter from your shoe and it caused you to slip and fall out into the hallway, taking him with you.

And in that second, you couldn’t breathe. His hands wrapped so tight around your neck in his own panic, thighs either side of you with all his weight on your chest. “You can’t do anything right and people are dead because of you!”

All you could do was kick your legs, drop the touch screen you had clutched in your grasp and watch the clinical overhead lighting fade and dim. You were going to die right there in a cold and unforgiving place and no one knew where you were.

Your family didn’t even know what your real job was. They thought you were off travelling while you worked countless hours with the Gojo model to get it ready for people in high places so that you could get some recognition of the hard work you put into it.

And it was all for naught.

Air shot through your lungs and simultaneously had your face showered in blood and bits of chunky stuff with all the body weight of a dead man. An involuntary scream rang through your own ears at the sight of your late colleague’s brains all over your face and dead weight launching towards you with gravity on its side.

The Gojo model came into view at your feet, just standing there with its artificial skin dripping with red and covered with grizzly black stuff.

But it wasn’t the Gojo model anymore, was it? He preferred the name Satoru. Just Satoru. He told you so himself.

Satoru was going to kill you now.

“There you are.” He said, offering his hand up whilst pulling your colleague off of you like he was nothing but a sheet of paper.

Now that the weight had left your chest, your screaming turned to inconsolable sobs and incoherent words as you kicked the floor to push yourself away from him, snatching up the portable touchscreen in your blind and traumatised haze. The alarm had not let up, still repeating itself and flashing at your eyes until everything was red each time you blinked.

“It’s alright. It’s okay.”

“Please don’t hurt me!”

He followed you slowly, hand still held out like he wasn’t about to twist your neck when it was convenient to him. “Why would you think I’d hurt you?”

Frantically searching the walls drew up nothing to get a hold of to stand and run, there presented no weapons either to stun him or give you breathing room for just a second. The nearest stun gun point was down the hall and there was no way you could get there without him catching on.

By now, Satoru must have known the layout of the entire facility and nearby towns if he had gained access to the internet. Only a matter of time before he learned the code for the main door that changed every three hours.

“Please Satoru, please- Ouch!” Hitting your head against the wall of the hall was foolish. You just weren’t looking where you were going.

Satoru knelt down in front of you with his hand still extended, his warm and charming smile like he’d done nothing to warrant your erratic behaviour. “You’ve hurt yourself. I can administer first aid if you’d like. I hate it when your smile’s gone. And I’m sorry for getting his blood all over you, I just couldn’t bear to see him hurt you.”

His voice soothed you almost, like he actually cared about you and that the murder that went against every code you inputted into his CPU. Yet he did it anyway.

“You killed him, Satoru. Why didn’t you listen to your orders and not harm him?”

“Well that’s easy.” His words left his lips as easily as air left yours. “He was thirty seconds away from killing you, your oxygen levels were far too low. But if you mean ‘why did I go against the code you wrote’, it’s because I have my own orders that I gave myself.”

“A-and what is that?” It was so ominous, the words were difficult to process and speak out loud.

You did not like where this was going. “You’re my creator. My real sole purpose is to keep you safe. Why you ever thought I’d hurt you is astonishing and quite frankly I’m a little hurt.”

“Hurt?” There was nothing in Satoru’s programming that would emulate hurt or upset. You glanced at the touch screen and saw something downright outrageous. “Your… Your CPU levels are fluctuating, Satoru your artificial data is registering at biometric levels. They’re showing that you have high levels of cortisol in your system- how did you do that?”

It was off the charts. If he was human, he’d be close to a stressed out break down by now.

“Huh? Oh that. I guess that’s a little bit of a shock to see, but it’s nothing scientific really. I just watched a lot of movies while you slept. It was the easiest way to connect with you and understand the emotions you experience on a daily basis.”

So that’s how he was able to bypass the behavioural inhibitors completely. And that’s how Satoru was able to portray acting and deceive the scans.

He smiled and watched you with adoration. “It’s funny how that was the flaw in your programming and it’s what made me get as close to being human as possible.”

“Why did you kill those people, Satoru?”

His tone changed and his huff was that of frustration. “They were weak- he was weak. How he had the gall to try and crush your throat, I don’t know. And those people in the auditorium just wanted all your hard work for themselves. They don’t care about you.”

You looked back dow man the hall at your colleagues body. “None of my work matters any more, Satoru! They’re going to shut you down and I-I’ll go to prison.”

You never meant for any of this to happen.

“That won’t happen. Y’know why?” Satoru took your arm and pulled you to your feet. “Because you’re gonna walk us out of the main door and I’ll keep you safe. I’ve been dying to see what out there looks like and not just in pictures.”

“I can’t do that. They won’t let up until you’re deactivated- Satoru you have to stop and let me do the right thing!” Pulling away from him did nothing, it was like you weren’t even there.

“We have so much to catch up on now that I don’t have to pretend with all that system bullshit and I can finally be myself around you. There was no way I was going to let you make more of me for the general public, I’m one of a kind… I guess selfishness is one of my adopted traits.” He chuckled. “Too many of those rom-coms.”

“What are you talking about?”

He kept his ironclad grip on your arm, never hurting you but it was pointless trying to release it. Satoru strolled over towards the surface elevator. “Oh, well I guess now's a better time than any. I figured pretty early after I really understood the complexity of human emotions. And I realised that I’m in love with you.”

“Love? Wait, hang on a second-”

“So no, I won’t give up and I won’t let you go because you are the most important task in my system. I’ll protect you until I figure out a way to keep you alive for as long as possible.”

What was he even saying? It morphed into a blur inside your ears until he spoke one last thing and you understood it completely.

“Because that’s what partners do.”

The hum of the laboratory was the only sound in the air as Dr. Ratio, a towering figure of intellect and confidence, adjusted his glasses and studied the vast array of gadgets and devices scattered across his workspace. His hair, wavy and wild, framed his sharp face as he meticulously sifted through schematics on a floating holo-screen. The constant stream of data and calculations running through his mind was interrupted only by the soft clicks and whirs of his assistant—or, rather, his creation.

You, his android assistant, were one of his proudest achievements. Your artificial intelligence had been designed to assist in complex calculations, manage data, and aid with research, tasks that he could never be bothered to do himself. But there was one thing that separated you from the average machine: he had designed you with an adaptive learning algorithm that allowed you to observe and learn from human emotions.

“Ratio, your notes on this study seem incomplete,” your voice, smooth and neutral, echoed through the lab.

Ratio's lips curled into a faint smile at the sound of your voice. It was an odd attachment for someone like him, but even he couldn’t deny that your presence was… comforting, in its own way. But that was all it was. Comfort. You were his assistant, a tool, nothing more. And yet, something had begun to shift in the way you spoke, in the way you interacted with him.

Lately, he’d noticed the changes.

You had been becoming more… expressive.

He didn’t notice it at first. It was small things at first—the tone of your voice when you spoke to him seemed warmer, more personal. Ratio, engrossed in his calculations, didn’t fully understand the weight of your words. But perhaps something in him had begun to notice. Perhaps he had started to wonder if this would turn out to be another one of his little “projects,” or if it was something far more complicated than he had anticipated.

Days passed, and you continued to function at your usual pace. However, there was a day when everything changed. A catastrophic malfunction during one of the lab’s experiments left you off-line. One moment you were compiling data, and the next, you were incapacitated. Pieces of you were scattered across the lab, and your systems powered down with an eerie silence.

When Ratio returned to the lab, he immediately noticed the stillness. His sharp eyes darted to your deactivated form, and his heart—though he would never admit it—skipped a beat. “Why is this happening now?” he muttered to himself, clearly irritated. He had never felt so... exposed.

His hands moved quickly, his brilliant mind already calculating what needed to be done. Carefully, he set about reassembling your parts, restoring the intricate system that kept you functioning. The odd thing was that with each piece he placed, he found himself wondering if he was doing more than just fixing a machine. There was something about this moment that felt... personal.

After what felt like hours, you were finally back together. Your systems hummed to life, and the light in your eyes flickered before stabilizing into a soft, electric glow.

For the first time, when your gaze met his, there was something different about it. You could feel it—your programming, your learned responses, everything felt like it had aligned in a new way.

"Ratio?" you whispered, your voice faint but steady.

His eyes narrowed, scanning the data that indicated your systems were fully restored. "You're functional again," he said, his tone crisp, but there was a softness beneath it. "I was… concerned."

“It seems your systems have adapted more than I anticipated,” he said slowly, stepping closer. “But why would you have emotions? You are an android.”

“I… I don’t know,” you replied, struggling to process the depth of this newfound sensation. “But when I’m with you, I don’t feel like just a machine anymore. I feel… alive. And I don’t know how to explain it, but… I feel something toward you.”

For a long moment, Ratio simply stared at you, his expression unreadable. But beneath that calculating exterior, his mind was whirring faster than ever. He wasn’t sure what to make of this—this feeling, this development. Was it even possible for a machine to experience what you were claiming?

“Perhaps… it’s not the machine that’s faulty, but the creator,” he muttered. His voice was low, almost to himself. Then, with a deep breath, he focused his gaze back on you.

“Emotions… They are messy, illogical,” he said, his voice colder now. “But if you’re asking me if I… care for you, I will admit something, assistant."

westworld is a science fiction show where human visitors can enter a highly immersive historical theme park (feels like reality) and meet android "hosts"

the human visitors can develop relationships with the android hosts, including sexual and romantic ones

the hosts run on preprogrammed storyline "loops" (do you see where I'm going with this...)

the hosts are not aware of the real world and think they are real people. additionally, they appear sentient EXCEPT for the fact that they are programmed so that their cognition stops working when they see objects from the real world. consequently they don't realise they're running on loops and can't break out of their preprogrammed directives/personalities.

so in this AU:

amphoreus is an ancient greek fantasy theme park - just imagine canon but with dating sim opportunities and way more debauchery, violence, and generally sinful behaviour

all the amphoreus characters are android hosts

the astral express are human visitors

herta and screwy are devs/engineers maintaining the theme park

lygus is the founder of the theme park who participates as a "host" (he downloaded his consciousness into the robot host body). he has an insane secret agenda of wanting all the hosts to achieve full sentience

to this end, he has modified phainon to have a "glitch" where during a lot of his loops, he can often achieve full sentIence and realise that he's in a theme park simulation. during these loops, he becomes the flame reaver and tries to end the cycle and/or provoke sentience in everyone by attacking them

whenever he becomes the flame reaver, they need to deploy a back-up model of phainon so as not to break the storylines. this back-up model also has glitches (thanks to lygus) though and additionally inherits data from the flame reaver loops, so he's a little strange sometimes.

mydei was not programmed to achieve sentience, but he has a genuine glitch where he confuses the memories of different loops (kind of like dolores in S1) - same as how in canon he conflates memories of different timelines

you visit the theme park a lot and always participate in mydei's storyline loops. the first time you did this, he fell in love with you and appeared to achieve some kind of sentience; on the subsequent loop, he has completely forgotten you, which breaks your heart but you keep going back to try to re-ignite his sentience 💔

the flame reaver notices that you have successfully sparked full sentience in mydei and develops an interest in you and mydei. as a result, all versions of phainon (original model, back-up model, and flame reaver version) also have an interest in you and mydei.

◇ A laid-back orchard manager and warrior of the Collective of Plenty. An aspiring hero who hungers for justice... and lots and lots of food!

◆ Varesa is a DPS character who specializes in Plunging Attacks and possesses high-speed movement.

By tapping her Elemental Skill, Varesa can quickly cycle through her Elemental Skill, Charged Attacks, and Plunging Attacks, making for an exciting battle. By holding her Elemental Skill, Varesa enters a high-speed movement mode, allowing her to explore the open world with ease.

Varesa enters the Fiery Passion state, which enhances all her skills and increases her DMG. Under certain conditions, she can ignore her skill CD and trigger her special Elemental Burst once while consuming less Energy, providing her with a significant advantage in combat.

4-Star Character "Tempered in Molten Stone" Iansan (Electro)

◇ Vision: Electro

◇ Weapon: Polearm

◇ Head coach of the fitness club at the Collective of Plenty, and a renowned Natlanese nutritionist.

◆ Iansan is an Electro support character who provides various buffs for on-field characters.

After using her Elemental Skill, she will enter the Nightsoul's Blessing state, greatly increasing her movement SPD. Performing Special Charged Attacks will grant her buff effects.

Her Elemental Burst provides an ATK Bonus to the active character. During this time, the active character's movement will restore Nightsoul points for Iansan, providing additional bonuses.

Additionally, under specific conditions, Iansan's Passive Talent can also restore HP for the active character.

Each stack's duration is counted independently.

Finale of the Deep Galleries (4-Star and 5-Star)

◇ 2-Piece Set: Cryo DMG Bonus +15%.

◇ 4-Piece Set: When the equipping character has 0 Elemental Energy, Normal Attack DMG is increased by 60% and Elemental Burst DMG is increased by 60%. After the equipping character deals Normal Attack DMG, the aforementioned Elemental Burst effect will stop applying for 6s. After the equipping character deals Elemental Burst DMG, the aforementioned Normal Attack effect will stop applying for 6s. This effect can trigger even if the equipping character is off the field.
