A decade ago, Sunny sent out their Season 10 press, highlighting the milestone they were about to reach with 10 seasons, including a comparison graphic with the few other long-running comedies in existence:

This week, at the 2023 (in 2024) Emmys, Sunny presented alongside many celebrated TV shows, including Cheers, all of which ‘reunited’ or were honoured for their past runs. Sunny has now out-run every show on the above graphic, they didn’t have to reunite (as press may want you to believe) to celebrate their show, because they continue to air as the longest running network show on television today.

Nah, still no Emmys, still no nominations, but they're a part of television history that has grown impossible to ignore. They're taking their space on the stage now, and they're gonna continue to remind everyone they're still around for years to come. Extending their historical run every year, press acknowledgement and prestigious awards be damned.

Something's... Off about the Fentons and their son's friends.

They seem to have been the last people to see Vladimir Masters, owner of DalvCo, and know of his whereabouts, yet refuse to reveal him or his location. They also seem to be taking full advantage of his absence, taking over his company and profiting from it and living in his castle in Wisconsin.

They always seem to have some kind of excuse as to why he's not around.

"He's on vacation! Oh, where? Um, Antarctica."

"You just missed him, actually. He was here a few minutes ago. Yeah, in this random dirty alley as I was being mugged. We discussed... Alleys."

"Yeah, he lives here. I know his room is super dusty. He just likes it like that."

Although Tim Drake sees the absence of Vlad Masters as an absolute win (Tucker Foley is much less creepy), he still sees that this requires an investigation. After all, a missing CEO is big news, especially when the last people to have seen him seemed to have had major beef with him. Could they have... Murdered him?

Or: Vlad's taken a nice little trip to ghost prison. The Batfam think Vlad's disappearance was a result of the Fenton family murdering him.

i know not many people would want to read a 10,000 word article about the minecraft end poem and how the author, Julian Gough, was never fairly compensated for his work and has made it public domain.

But it's a very well-written and heartfelt read, and he makes it very clear that none of this is a cash-grab and despite the fact that he is essentially a starving artist in this capitalist society, he only mentions his financial struggles despite Minecraft's huge huge success at the bottom of this article and not in the tweets so as to not dilute his message.

Anyway, I just think it'd be cool if those who are able to could support him in some way whether it be subscribing to his substack or donating to his paypal (that's linked in the article, you can ctrl + F to find it easier), that's all.

I think i just need to express that the culture surrounding QPRs right now made me think that i couldn't have strong bonds with my friends. Society told me i cant have strong bonds with friends because that was only for romantic relationships. Then i went into aro spaces and this idea was reinforced using QPRs instead of romantic relationships. it was "You can still have strong bonds with people without romance! It can just be a QPR instead!" "QPRs are MORE than friendship so you can have STRONGER BONDS than you would with friends."

it made me think that the relationships i wanted with my friends HAD to be something other than friendship for it to be as strong as i wanted. If i wanted to be the first person in someones life i had to enter some sort of committed relationship. if I wanted someone to care about me as strongly as i did them then it would have to be a relationship that was "more" than friendship.

I thought I wanted a QPR because i was told the only way to get that care and security that I wanted was to enter into a relationship that was "more" than friendship. because friends didn't care that much. because friends didn't live together their entire lives. because friends were never the priority relationship wise. and it took me years to realize that i didn't want any partnership and i shouldn't have to be in one to want these things from a friend. these things CAN be something friends can do. but i found that out on my own. because the aro community kept saying "you want a QPR" when i just wanted a friend who finally saw me as a priority in their life.

They are Concepts and you can do whatever the fuck you want in the privacy of your own home/blog.
