I love your art so much and would absolutely love to get a paperback. Unfortunately, I haven't exactly come out to my parent's yet 😅 and it might look weird ordering this, so I'd have to explain. Thier very supportive and I'm sure they'll support me, I'm still just very scared. Do you have any advice if you've done this before?

I think with my parents it happened kind of in that way for me! I started wearing aro/ace pins since my late teenage years (shortly after the ace flag became a thing hehe) and my parents just sort of... Noticed over time, I think.

My mom was the only one who commented on it (my parents are separated so interactions are separate). She wasn't very understanding at first (she is super understanding and supportive now, which I also pin on her being in a much better place in her life), but back then whenever she would express the usual "but isn't that sad" concerns, my two ever-supportive brothers would laugh it off like "no it's not sad / why are you even surprised she's made it obvious for a while". It helped me a great deal.

I guess one thing to keep in mind is there may be an initial lack of understanding, there's always a risk (though it's much lesser if your parents are supportive already!), but you shouldn't let that get to you, as much as you're able. Unless your parents actively try to force relationships you don't want on you (which would suck for anybody in any orientation), they can't do anything to physically prevent you from living as who you are. In my younger years I tended to shrug off a lot of people who didn't understand my orientation. I knew who I was and that was all I needed. I know I make it sound easier than it is probably TwT But I hope this can help anyhow!

EDIT: I almost forgot to say! I've found that even though she didn't understand much at first, my mom was quick to ask questions and lend a listening ear to understand better, so in my own experience, you shouldn't be afraid of responding to questions from your parents openly! If they're supportive, they won't be like those people who just ask stuff to "negociate" you into actually being straight or indirectly make fun, it'll be out of a sincere will to know you better, and it can be really sweet.

Rottmnt AU where they’re all human and Big Mama and Draxum are studying law, and BM is also studying linguistics (she got that ‘is that even a word’ ‘it is now’ mentality) and Drax has a chemistry ‘hobby’ and then they are both interning at the Hamato Law Firm but they’ve basically just been assigned to tutor the charismatic Yoshi Hamato on law so he can inherit the company when he is Really Clearly a theater kid who could have a natural talent for this if he gave a shit about anything other than comics and stunt acting.

Yoshi tries writing BM poetry to get out of study sessions. This does not work.

He asks to see Draxum’s experiments(in his apartment) to get out of study sessions. This does work. However it’s a group study session so BM just follows them and is like ‘bro I need this internship. What are you doing gayboy. What the hell.’

Anyways. Turns out this chemistry stuff is…way more than little experiments for fun. BM and Yoshi are both suprised by the scale. Yoshi trips. Knocks something over. Into Drax’s turtle enclosure.

They are now two tired college students literally holding back an heir to a huge law company who doesn’t really know anything except comics and stunt lore from grabbing a random test tube to chug so he can escape his inheritance and be a single father of four green toddlers because he thinks that would be easier. Than law.

Big Mama is an eldest sister and hates that assumption, espescially as she helped raise half the kids in her neighborhood as a babysitter when saving up for college.

Drax is more worried because this guy definitely doesn’t know shit about turtles, and oh fuck his pet turtles what’s going on with them are they ok do they need a vet? Can they still go to the vet? Do they need a pediatrician, oh god he’s terrible with children oh no

Anyways. Overall chaos ensues. They need to hide the turtles to protect them. But they’re kids, they need to be around other kids, and socialize! Guys what if I moved down into the sewers with them turtles like water right. Shut up Yoshi you idiot, you’ll get salmonella and die.

Basically 2 college kids are now supervising a ‘single father of four’ and making sure he doesn’t fuck up or kill the kids, while also arguing about what these particular children need. Glorious

godd wampus im fucking THRIVING right now. this campaign sucks so bad it's genuinely unwatchable at times and I think that's the appeal to me <3 they spent like 10 minutes just describing and figuring out how the money system works and literally none of them sound like they've ever played dnd before and i don't think it will ever pass the bechdel test once the entire campaign even with velrissa trying her hardest but it goes crazy anyway

br'aad is my favorite character by a lot right now,, he's my FREAKK i love him and his idiot swagger so much. he's supposed to be charismatic but he sucks so bad at it everyone hates him but sticks around with him anyway. he's a warlock and his patron stops time and gives him insight on things/danger to come and kicked off the main plot in the sickest sequence I've ever seen. also his gayboy ass really did walk so every other gayboy slimecicle character could run !! they were so right !! and the party spent the first and second session hating everything he said and did . Took them sooooo long to be normal about him but they got it eventually when mountain (MY MAANNNNNN) defended him. Also he says everything with ^_^ . Just outloud you can hear it in his voice

for the rest I think the only other character that's talking enough to form an opinion on is taxi. and that opinion is STRONGLY a good one o(-( ! his banter with br'aad is so fun they're the only characters that feel Real and In The World so far and I love it so much. the names bit where br'aad kept getting his name wrong and calling him "saxi" and whenever he corrected him br'aad would just go "I know saxi. Nice to meet you im br'aad!" actually had me in tears at a certain point they're the only ones that have gotten me to laugh fr fr so far

sadly velrissa mountain and sylnan just Don't Fucking Talk so i don't have any real concrete opinions on them yet other than "hmm. Interesting ^_^" velrissa and her necromancy stuff is so neat so far I hope we get to see it in action soon instead of just small mentions here and there. same with the dynamic between sylnan and br'aad I NEEED to see more snockers scenes like their sibling scamming bullshit seems so cool I can't wait for them to emotionally rip my heart out through my throat. I can feel it coming

honestly the main appeal of it all is the characters and the characters alone. them slowly becoming friends and trusting each other will fuck with my brain permanently. I already cheered out loud when they so much as INSINUATED that they could stand br'aad and his charisma and they don't actually hate being around each other like that made me so happy. their meeting makes no sense but that's okay the Shenanigans with the solid snake box and br'aad trying and failing to stealth was so fun and "nice forearms, and a nicer staff!" and the little weirdo gremlin goblin following them around they're all very scared of and creeped out by (except for br'aad. he is strongly sexually attracted to goblins. this is canon and brought up over and over again) all make up for it. the story really doesn't matter to me here at all ^_^ all i care about are the characters being happy and traveling together and that's what makes the campaign enjoyable for me

I think Password's character writing would work a lot better if every character were constructed like Tyson (And to clarify, I mean Tyson on every route except his own, because Tyson route Tyson is a fucking dangerous man that needs a circle around him where no one can go). Let me explain.

I think the reason Tyson ends up as a character to watch (for me) because he is incredibly simple in construction. He has one trait (Penchant for poorly forethought violence) and one motivation (protect dave) and that's just his whole character the entire time! that's it!

As I write this I find that only a few characters are missing motivations (from my perspective not having finished the game in its entirety yet). Knowing this, it might be that these characters flop from undercommitment. When I realized Oswin was meant to be a second father figure to dave, I was primarily horrified but secondarily I was also confused because I couldn't tell where the story was taking this as it gave mixed messages as to which side of the fathering spectrum he fell on (my gut instinct says Bad given the D and E route conversations from him after having lost benson and returning to the mansion). Sal is in my opinion a graver victim of the way password is written. I can clearly tell what his main trait and main motivation are supposed to be (emotional intelligence and protecting EVERYONE at the mansion), but he executes these in the most boring possible way because this is an idiot plot. He fails to complete his objective because of the Hand of God, basically. They need to stay on the mountain for the story to happen, but the most surefire way to keep everyone safe is to climb over the damned rocks. these are mutually exclusive so obviously the story continues and the excuse given is that orlando is too fat to climb the rocks (seriously?). Thus does Sal utterly fail at his one job. It's a shame cause the pieces were all set up, too.

tl;dr: Password should have more absolutes and should also commit more. Make sure those gayboys canNOT in ANY way get off that mountain by themselves and make sure they act in accordance with their supposed motivations in a way that is clear and logical even when they aren't the center of attemtion in the story because otherwise why are they even there.
