I've really, really enjoyed the demo! All of it was great but I'd like to point out my favourite bits.

I loved the colour palette you have chosen. It looks so soft and cosy, from the starting screen, to the character design, environment design, too. The little mushrooms next to the choice options are such a nice touch and even the food managed to envoke a very homely feel. (And listen, seeing the chickens? I just about melted, I adore them.) You just make the player feel so safe at Mychael's home! Why would you ever want to leave, right? :)

Which brings us to the man himself. I want to pinch his cheeks and ruffle his hair and tell him that he's a cootie patootie. He's just so sweet and non-threatening until he actually is a threat to the player character. And he's so well-meaning about it, in theory, right? more like self-serving He just cannot let you leave, for good reasons! Gotta find your cat still after all! It has nothing to do with the fact that he wants you to stay around. And that he's manipulating you with false information. And, see, the forest is so pretty to look at and if there's danger, he has a crossbow! Mychael will keep you safe and sound. Even though he seems so harmless...

He's so well written and I want to point that out, specifically. You've created a solid character with him, very much a fantastic job.

Bonus: I greatly enjoyed the screen and text effects, oh man. The 'dripping' letters especially.

Overall, thank you for your hard work. The game's been lovely thus far!

rambling about her team under the cut:

Valerie’s pokemon were difficult to choose… I wanted her to have a relatively uncommon fire or fighting type for her bc because 1. I just think those types fit her, and 2. she used to be a spoiled rich kid, so i doubt she’d accept just any old pokemon for her partner.

Litleo:

chosen as her starter for its fierce personality and also bc its normal typing coincidentally gives it immunity to ghost types.

Probably lazy 90% of the time but gets super aggressive when challenged. It isn’t very interested in ghost hunting unless its perceived territory (the apartment, school, and/or nasty burger) is under attack.

Maybe has a personal grudge against Cujo? (havent decided on a pkmn for him yet tho...)

The other option for her starter was Vulpix bc its evolution is characterized as “spiteful”, which i think matches her pretty well lol. Some of the fire starters would be… okay for her, but I wasn’t a fan of any of their final evos.

Riolu:

baby pokemon gifted by Vlad. Perfect IVs/EVs, trained with dark-type TMs, has Foresight to negate ghost immunity, yada yada. It’s been raised from birth to be Valerie’s ghost hunting partner and doesn’t know much else about the world.

As Riolu grows older and its ability to sense aura/emotions increases, it begins to doubt its training, leading to it refusing to hunt Phantom because it knows that he can’t possibly be evil. (This attitude gradually spreads towards other ghosts as well, but Phantom is the trigger. Alternatively, maybe Ellie is involved somehow?)

Riolu and Val get into a big fight over it and Riolu runs away, forcing Valerie to confront her grudge against ghosts or risk losing her partner forever.

Riolu’s admittedly a bit of an odd choice for ghost hunting since it doesnt have type advantage, but I’ve grown quite attached to the idea of Riolu/Lucario’s innate sense of justice coming to a head with Valerie’s quest for vengeance. And also Vlad not thinking his plan through by gifting her a pkmn known to detect ill intent is very funny to me… like why didnt u give her a pawniard or scizor or smthn?? congrats u played urself

Riolu has no idea half-ghosts exist btw! Vlad kept it in the dark so it wouldn’t turn on him or reveal his identity. it suspects SOMETHING is up with danny though, which leads to some awkward staredowns at school. (also going by pkmn game logic: riolu can’t see through illusions without attacking first, so danny’s hisuian zorua is safe so long as it assumes another form)

im trying to avoid giving out too many shinies but shiny riolu just fits val’s color scheme sooooo much better. lets just say vlad wanted to show off REALLY hard that day, ok? being one of the few ppl in school with a shiny poke would make her less unpopular than she is in canon, but she still doesn’t rejoin the A-lister crowd.

riolu being so recognizable does mean it has to wear a disguise when ghost hunting tho (which makes my red huntress sketch non-canon lmao). it either wears a mini huntress suit or just a black cloak!

when i started shipping them:

honestly very very recently lol. i can't remember exactly but i think abt 2-3 months ago? ik their dynamic was definitely entertaining to me from the start and there were moments that made me go like "👀" sometimes (bc im a gayass hopeless romantic so im always kinda subconsciously on the lookout for fun characters to ship ig lol), but i started getting genuinely rlly invested in the ship roughly when i watched dimension jump for the first time. something abt seeing rimmer get so jealous and catty abt lister and ace i suppose.......... hehe

my thoughts

i mean obviously i think they're great lol. i am nuts abt them. they're both such fun characters and their dynamic together is just wonderful and iconic and hilarious. even platonically they're just like...... a duo to me. ik all of the dwarfers are a set (Do Not Separate Them) but lister and rimmer especially just go together. it doesn't feel right to talk abt one without mentioning the other. they're just lister and rimmer yknow......... regardless of whether they're friends or lovers i just love them together and love it when they interact

what makes me happy about them

SO MANY THINGS....... the ship does bring a lot of comfort to me bc despite their arguments and the insults that get thrown around they do really care abt each other and it becomes pretty obvious in later seasons. the opposites attract/sun and moon thing they have going on is so endearing to me as well.......... i get so much serotonin from the little moments of honest affection they have for each other in the show.

i think they can be a source of comfort for each other as well, not always in an obvious way but they just keep each other grounded, they're each a reassuring constant in the other's life yknow? also they're both very relatable to me in their own different ways so i would be lying if i said there wasn't an aspect of projection in it as well lol

what makes me sad about them:

the answer to this one is also Many Things......... sometimes they are genuinely just Mean to each other and it makes me a bit sad. and just. lister's childhood and his loneliness and depression and likewise rimmer's childhood and self hatred...... idk they're just both very saddening guys at times, im not even gonna lie. i wish that they'd both allow themselves to be more vulnerable with each other and more open abt their feelings sometimes but ik there are plenty of reasons why that's hard for them. ig it's more their characters separately that make me sad mostly rather than their relationship with each other though, if that makes sense

things done in fanfic that annoy me:

this is a rlly specific personal pet peeve but i kinda dislike it when ppl rlly exaggerate lister's accent in fic. like when they write his speech out as "rimmah" instead of "rimmer" and that sort of thing lol. it's fine in small amounts or if it's a purely comedic fic but if im reading a more emotionally poignant (or sexy) fic and the author has changed the spelling of every second word lister says i just have to exit outta there sorry. for me i feel like since we all know what he sounds like then trying to write out his pronunciation that way just seems awkward and silly. this is by no means an objective thing just personal preference.

it's also a pet peeve of mine when lister gets kinda sidelined or his characterisation gets messed around with in favour of the author basically using him as a self insert bc they're horny for rimmer. it doesn't come up often but when it does it annoys me......... ik rimmer is everyone's special little boy but i love lister too and i don't like to see him get ignored or undervalued like that

things i look for in fanfic:

honestly just an interesting premise really! basically the stuff i look for in any literature, like strong characterisation, a fun plot etc...........

my wishlist:

idk exactly what this one entails? if it means stuff i wish i could see in the show, ig i'd just like to see more sweet genuine moments between them (like the moonlight scene). idk if i would actually want there to be a canon romantic relationship between them, like yeah i ship them so much but ig i just wouldn't want it to be forced or executed weirdly. basically i just want to see more of them exactly as they are now, except maybe they should be nicer to each other sometimes. OH ALSO i need to see deb and arlene again so fucking bad

who i'd be comfortable with them ending up with, if not each other:

this one is tough bc there honestly aren't many romantic prospects for either of them lol. i def wouldn't be comfortable with a romantic relationship between either of them and any of the other dwarfers, just personal taste. i personally view rimmer as a closeted confused gay man so i wouldn't be that comfy seeing him with a female character either so that rules out pretty much everyone for him haha.........

for lister, although i love kochanski and his friendship with her, i don't like the idea of them being "endgame" bc it would feel forced at this point and just...... uncomfortable. honestly i can't imagine feeling comfortable with any other relationships for rimmer/lister being canon lol. i just prefer the idea of them both being single in canon i suppose, sorry lads. it's funny bc in most fandoms im a chronic multishipper but with red dwarf im kinda like rimster or die basically lmao 🤷‍♂️

my happily ever after for them:

basically just the same as they are now but married and in love LOL.

also they need to finally get a proper bed to sleep in together and get out of those goddamn bunks, 1) because i want them to cuddle and 2) lister is in his 50s now and those bunks can't be very comfortable or ergonomic, i am worried abt the state of his back lol. it's not much, ig in the end i just want them to stay together and be happy together. since there seems to be technology that exists to sustain multiple holograms that they've found on other ships, maybe once lister finally dies they could be holograms together and travel the stars together forever....... or maybe the opposite would happen and rimmer would shut himself off so they can just be at peace together. ough sorry this got sad im getting emotional

This is Xevo, although he’s more commonly known as “Stygian” by most. He’s about 5′8 with heels, 5′5 without. He’s 21 years old, and had his body taken from him at age 17.

He has no affiliations with any PMC or military known as of currently, having gone rogue on the same day his body was replaced in exchange for a cyborg one. Despite all this, he can still be seen intruding into fights between different PMCs for nothing but the fun of it. This is exactly how he finds himself between Desperado and MSC.

The reason he finds pleasure in pointlessly fighting is due to what came with his cyborg body. His entire body was altered, his brain having undergone a type of psychosurgery that “reroutes” release of dopamine, serotonin etc. Specifically; his brain was tampered with to release dopamine whenever he would commit violent acts, similar to how Sundowner explains the Sears Program’s goals, except instead of training, it’s direct alteration through surgery. 

If this wouldn’t work, there was another lock keeping him chained down to the battlefield. His body, and his weapon, use an incredible amount of energy. To support this, he’s been given a digestive tract that can process even completely rotten foods in order to provide him energy. The catch is that none of this will provide him enough energy on its own; he has to cannibalize other cyborgs to survive, as they provide him enough energy to last for days on end, but not forever.

All of this was stacked on top of the fact that he never got a civil life. Even before he was born was he planned to be given away to the military illegally, and so he was. Due to these conditions, he became incapable of proper thought, deranged as he accepted the mirage of death being a game, and that the world and himself were fake.

now quick description of his weapon lol!!!

Xevo’s weapon, which earned him the “Hydra” part of his nickname, is incredibly heavy and incredibly dangerous. Due to its weight, it’s used by Xevo to further increase his speed in short bursts by slinging it forwards and being dragged behind like a deadweight. It can also double as a plasma gun similar to Metal Gear RAY’s (though much weaker), the cables running along it being able to power the two spikes around the blade and charge up bursts of red energy. This however terribly shortens Xevo’s endurance, taking a massive chunk of his stamina off of him. Due to his weapon being so costly on him, people would tend to think of it like a second head rather than an extension of oneself.

So I noticed something, antis of these characters be like-

A lot of people who hate Amy Rose and Marinette have listed the same reasons why theyre a horrible character (i.e “shes annoying”, “her only personality trait is being obsessed over a guy”)

But y’all miss the reasons why they’re great characters actually

-they’re kind and sweet-natured and love their friends dearly

-they’re great leaders (look at Amy in the Archie comics, Ladybug with the other heroes)

-they have been the reasons as to why so many characters change their point of view (Amy with Shadow, E-Alpha 100 in Sonic Adventure 2, and Silver in 06’, Marinette befriending Kagami, Fei and several others)

-can hold their own, they don’t really need a man to save them but fell in love with Sonic/Adrien for their kindness (Amy being saved from Metal Sonic on Little Planet, Adrien giving Marinette the umbrella)

It’s not that they’re horrible characters, the writers need to write them better

OHMIGOD THATS A BLAST FROM THE PAST..

dharma & greg.... i was in middle school in the early 2010s and my dad was elderly, so he set up a deal with the old folks community center that i could sit in their lobby until he could pick me up after-school, since the center was right across the street from the school. id sit there and watch what they left on the tv (because i didnt know how to change the channel, there was no remote and i cant remember if there were buttons. there was no place to do my hw other than the floor bc i wasnt allowed to wander, and my dad was abusive Sucked(TM) so i also used hw to avoid him at home. and i had a cellphone for emergencies only; no internet or games, and i had to make sure it didnt die before my dad picked me up even tho i didnt have a portable battery. so that meant at least an hour of nothing to do but sit and watch a tv that i was too shy to ask how to change the channel for. but it turned out alright and also im safe now lmao) and whatecer they left it on, it never changed away from this channel that only played sitcoms, specifically sitcoms that WEREN'T super big, currently on-air or had newly ended like Friends or Seinfeld. i watched the entirity of Cheers, Fresh Prince, The Nanny, Planes, Living Single, The New Adventures of Old Christine, a couple of others (i moved to high school before i could finish Fraiser (also you could argue some of these are still big, but i dont see Cheers or Fraiser versions of some of the merch thats in my local mall of Friends and Senfield nor do i see as many memes or edits or anything), and Dharma & Greg. now i remember where my idea of a romantic hero came from lmao greg made me fucking melt in my chair

but everytime i typed in "show about lawyer and artist shot-gun married", i couldnt find its title. thank you so much, this is going on my next wishlist and my list of Things To Eventually Buy, that show and all these others gave me so much serotonin during an otherwise lonely time. it brought me so much comfort that the rare times i had the courage to speak to the lovely woman at the front counter, and not the adrenaline-fueled fear of "MY PHONE DIED CAN I PLS USE THE LANDLINE TO CALL MY DAD", was when the channel had been randomly changed one day to something new and there was no one else watching it, so i timidly asked for my comfort shows back and shed nod and never spoke but would always change it for me (i think she only did bc nobody else was there though i never asked if someone else was watching the tv). but yeah. fuck, greg was the fucking dream to bby!me. and i related way too hard to dharma lmao but jfc i think i underestimated how much that show soothed an aching, alienated part of me by showing me a Weird (Neurodivergent) Girl as an adult being shamelessly herself and absolutely adored for it lmao ♡♡♡♡ thank you so much for reminding me of the title, you and whoever brought this up, this was a "FINALLY" that was literal years in the making, i couldnt remember the name of this show for the life in me but now i can request someone buy it for my birthday or something lmao thank you. thank you so, so much ♡♡♡♡♡

4. How do you choose which fics to write?

god its so hard. its SO HARD TO PICK. so many things i want to write and never enough time waugh. but usually what happens is i get a few lines of something in my head and i go to just jot those down and uhh it usually turns into a fic from there. but sometimes if a fic idea is sparkly enough i'll sit down and start writing it anyway even without the inspiring words

13. Do you listen to music while you write?  If yes, what have you been listening to recently?

yes! if i dont have music playing i am far less productive with my writing but it has to be a specific vibe. lately i have been listening to niels nielson and MCC for writing, they have very nice quiet sounds (for the most part anyway, mister niels has a couple of songs that jumpscare me bc he just starts talking in the middle of them). but i also listen to autoheart while im writing, especially if i'm working on something with a lot of emotions to it

22. Do you title your fics before, during, or after the writing process?  How do you come up with titles?

well. usually what happens is i finish a fic. i edit it. i get ready to post it and then i go SHIT I NEED A TITLE

occasionally though a title comes to me before im finished writing something, which is always a nice surprise. with my ghost fics i always use ghost lyrics as titles teehee

43. Is there a trope or idea that you’d really like to write but haven’t yet?

hmmmm. hm that is a good question. well my favorite character dynamic is grumpy/grumpy or grumpy/dry humor and there arent many options for that with the ghoulies (although now that i think about it...dew and mountain would fit the grumpy/dry humor trope fairly well....hmmmm)

as for ideas, i think for the most part i have wips or notes of most of the ideas i want to write, but one of them that i am very excited to work on more but have been stuck with is my rain/swiss soulmate au

55. Have you noticed any patterns in your fics?  Words/expressions that appear a lot, themes, common settings, etc?

i feel positive that there are wordings and phrases i use a lot, but even after skimming through some of my fics i can't find any good examples right now

but definitely some common themes, one thing i really enjoy doing is implementing dynamics that are unusual for the characters, its fun coming up with circumstances and situations that change things up and take them out of their comfort zones

57. How conscious are you about including symbolism or foreshadowing in your fics?

oh i LOVE symbolism and foreshadowing, but honestly a lot of my fics aren't planned out enough for much intentional foreshadowing but i like to think that for some of the longer series i'm working on it'll work out to have some nice foreshadowing

74. Do you have a fic you wish got a bit more love?

🥺yess

my cumulus and swiss fic is one im really proud of with very tasty sweet mean cumulus and subby swiss

and then also this one with dew and swiss ft finger sucking a little bit o boot stuff (sub swiss again...i prommy i have some dom swiss content in the works)

78. What motivates you during the writing process?

one thing about me is i love completing things. i will add something to a list just to immediately cross it off and im a completionist in video games too, so just the feeling of having finished a fic is pretty motivating

another thing thing is sending snippets to my friends, thats always a nice little boost of serotonin and motivation bc i get some feedback and its always nice to hear someone say they're excited to see where a work is going

i also usually have ideas of things i want to happen later on, and if i wanna get to that i have to write my way to it so i basically am just dangling a carrot for myself lol

if you’re more into the technical side of minecraft, you can be rest assured that hermitcraft has some of the Biggest Brains in redstone.

tangotek: a fucking madlad.  Singled-handedly created the minigame Decked Out.  im Begging you to watch his tutorial video on how to play.  currently finishing up his Among Us but in minecraft minigame. all of this was built Entirely in survival vanilla minecraft.  get this man to 1M subscribers.

mumbo jumbo: the man himself.  built a 128 x 128 block industrial district in both season 6 and 7 packed to the Brim with mechanical farms.  half the brain behind the masterpiece of engineering that was Sahara in season 6.  currently working on Pacific, the sequel to Sahara, in season 7.

iskall85: the other half of the brain behind Sahara and working on Pacific with mumbo in season 7.  also has an industrial district like mumbo’s in season 7.

xisuma: built an automatic potion brewer in the second half of season 7.  this thing churns out potions by the Shulker Box.  can also turn a shulker box full of potions into splash potions and extend duration all with a press of a button.

impulseSV: incredible example of form + function.  farms are scattered throughout his base.  he has a farm for nearly every farmable resource in vanilla minecraft.

etho: the pioneer of some of the most widely used redstone mechanisms to date.  content isn’t super redstone-focused.  mostly does compact modules that serve a specific function.

zedaph: makes strange contraptions.  he’s basically if grian knew how to redstone.  impeccable vibes and fairly underrated.

bdoubleo100: he occassionally does this segment called “redstone with bdubs” and it’s the only redstone i understand so that’s why he’s here.

what about roleplay?  and lore?  

yeah they have Plenty of that too.  

it generally comes in the form of self-contained storylines that involve most members on the server and take place over the course of several weeks in multiple videos.  it’s fairly light roleplay, if that’s not your thing.  but the plotlines also have a Massive Potential to be angsty and whatnot if you really look into it, which a lot of people also do.

hardcore minecraft server with a twist that started on 4/20/21.  all content is posted to each member’s respective youtube channels.

every member has 3 lives, as indicated by the color of their name: green for 3 lives left, yellow for 2, red for 1.  if they lose all three lives, they can only spectate the world (like in hardcore mode).  the series ends when all members have lost all three lives.

the twist: once a member is on their 3rd and final life, as indicated by a red name, they are Hostile and their goal is to take the lives of the remaining players.

Welcome back to my blog! For those who just found it, welcome. My name is Orion.

This is my first North Star boys blog and it’s about one of my comfort members/Streamers. 

Today I am going to talk about the one and only Ryan Nguyen, aka Azngami. 

Ryan or ‘Azngami’ is a member of NSB. While I’ve only been following him for about a few months now, I found Ryan around the same time as Kane, through Tiktok. 

Ryan is 20 years old and is a gamer, on Twitch. He also does both Youtube and Tiktok. (As always, I will have everyone’s links at the end of the blog.) Now, Ryan has the potential to do great things and I for one am here for it. His videos are very short but sweet. You can tell he is still a bit nervous or unsure about his YouTube videos but, I love them. 

Azngami is such a unique name and it fits him so well. Although, his fans started calling him Azngummi which is still cute. I don’t remember who started it, but I do thank you for such a cute nickname. 

From what I know, Ryan met the rest of the boys in Dallas while meeting up with Darren, Justin, and Regie. At this time, I think fate had a hand in their meeting.  It brought the boys together and had led them up to where they are now. Oliver has said that Ryan was very shy, to begin with, and if you go back and watch old videos on both the Northstar and Ryan’s channels, you can see it. 

Over time, you can see how much more comfortable he has gotten with the boys, and let me tell you, it warms my heart and makes me smile so much. Seeing someone, I look up to grow and gain more experience and just thrive, in general, is a major serotonin boost that stays with me for days. 

Now as I have said earlier, Ryan also does Twitch.  I have followed him for about two months now and I have no regrets. I love watching his stream and interacting with his chat, even if we do get out of pocket at times. It’s all in good fun though. Ryan becomes a whole different person when he is streaming, and it’s funny to see this other side of him. I love it, as do many of his fans. 

He channels his inner rage into the games he plays, with no filter whatsoever. It’s honesty the best. He shows off at times, but it’s so cute. I actually started gaming again because of him and a personal friend of mine.

Im loving it so far but I am using my phone. Ryan is such a huge inspiration for me that it’s unbelievable.

I’ve changed for the better because of him, and to this day I’ve very grateful

Hello, anon! Sad to say I haven't been reading up much during my break, but I do still have some recs that I think were amazing reads from a few months ago! Though I'll be honest, even then I wasn't reading a lot, but-

Here are my top 5!

This is technically an ongoing series but I loved this to bits, and I will insert this as my collective top 1. Am I biased? Yes, yes I am, but that's besides the point. Chuuya, born in the muggle world, finds out he is a wizard and attends Hogwarts, where he befriends Dazai, the adopted son of notorious Mori Ougai. I loved the incorporation of Harry Potter and Bungou Stray Dogs into this, being an old fan of the former and a current fan of the latter, and it's just genius writing. Good characterization, and good plot too. It's not just a rewrite of the HP series with a change of characters, the plot was tweaked too, to better fit BSD's vibe. Definitely my top 1 on this list.

Honestly, anything by setosdarkness in AO3 is a blessing. This one, I think, I've read maybe 5 times already, because I get so much serotonin from this! It's funny, it's crack, it's on-point in a way, and it's the fix-it I need what with ADA, Port Mafia and the Guild all being in one party, playing charades. Easily my top 2, this is my comfort fic of sorts. I read it again recently, after coming back here, you should too if you're into crack/no angst fics!

THIS!! This fic is one of my firsts in the BSD fandom, and I loved it so, so much, I even have the linked Spotify playlist saved in my library. THIS is what you read if you want slow burn and tension and mafia involvement and ANGST but also some good soukoku shit. I swear, their characterizations is on point with this. Basically, Chuuya gets married off to Dazai and their marriage signifies peace between their groups. Kouyou leads Chuuya's, and Mori leads Dazai's and THE PLOT TWISTS and SLOW BURN is so worth it.

My favorite shin soukoku fic, for one reason and one reason only: CAT RASHOMON!!! Seriously though- neighbors au is everything. How I long for domestic shin soukoku. This is no angst/lowkey crack but overall just very light-hearted. I love the way other characters are involved in this too! If I remember this correctly, soukoku also pop up as a side couple, but the focus is mainly on cat dad Aku and adopted cat dad Atsu.

Can't finish off a rec list without some RanPoe so here! It's basically just them being geniuses yet completely oblivious to one another's feelings. I love Louisa's involvement with this, and this fic is the reason I stan platonic Poe/Louisa when I initially haven't considered it since they don't interact much in canon. Oh, and it's a college au, all fun and games and maybe some mental breakdowns over finals (if I remember correctly). Just a light, fluffy fic with a healthy sprinkling of humor. I'll probably read this again for the feelgood vibes it gives me.

Now for some honorable mentions!

All you need to know is FukuMori watch their son Dazai grow up with Chuuya- whose dads are VerRim. Very domestic, highly recommend this.

No, it's not the popular one from Haikyuu lol BUT! Paul and Arthur adopting Chuuya instead of... you know, whatever happened in canon?? The perfect fix-it, especially after reading Stormbringer.

Again with the family dynamic of zskk/dazai and verrim/chuuya except this one's more focused on soukoku. It's ABO, but it's also a royalty au with an amazing plot, and overall development with twists on canon events. If you don't mind omegaverse then this I urge you to read this!

On the topic of long fics, here's an iconic one for skk. Think: singers! soukoku but better. If I remember this right, this was inspired by the song "still still still" sung by soukoku's voice actors??? Which was a catchy song btw, check it out. And it gives us fake dating, turned real dating, with lots of bad decisions and Dazai taking up acting. A good read if you want a longer fic!

Much shorter soukoku, with the classic coffee shop x flower shop worker au. I love the flower language from this fic, and the light vibes. I also love the way other characters were incorporated into this?? And I like soukoku being idiots in love.

Now I've reached my link limit damn this site but I will not be stopping just yet.

For fics with less than 4k words: here's one where atsu and rashomon interact, it's all soft sskk; here's where aku spoils atsu, in the soft way okay? Get your mind out of the gutters; here's one where almost everyone in ADA kiss dazai to break the curse of an ability and because dazai is a little shit he lets them; here's ranpo introspection and coming up to the deduction that he has feelings for a certain mystery writer; and here's the prologue?? of Full Tacit Understanding (see Top 2) but it's just Chuuya grocery shopping and Dazai watching him.

These are for the brave, but here's Chuuya in a dress plus relieving sexual tension and here's an ongoing series where sskk help one another but there's also some plot... but mainly I'm adding this here 'cause it's hot.

I'd also like to add that my bookmarks have some good stuff but also know that 60% of my bookmarks are privated, and with good reason <3 That's all I can think of, I hope you like these, anon!

Like every natural disaster, it came without a warning.

It started off like every other day. Wake up, go to RAD, do student council duties, go home, sleep, repeat. Of course, there would be an occasional (read: frequent) occasion outside of the standard norm, but today was not one of those times.

“Here you go!” You handed Diavolo your latest finished report. “I’ve even separated the approved and rejected request forms and sorted them alphabetically for easier reading.” You said proudly. Sure enough, the Prince quickly thumbed through one of the piles and made a noise in his throat that sounded positive.

Next thing you know, he gives you one of his iconic smiles. “Excellent work as always, MC.” He tells you. “Your help is always appreciated! Thanks to you, we’ve made a tremendous dent in all this paperwork. We couldn’t have done it without you.”

The praise he was pouring on you felt so good. You try not to visibly react to it, but your brain dumped a massive pool of serotonin from his words alone. Hell, you can even feel your cheeks warming up. It always felt good to be praised by your peers, but there was something about the way Diavolo praises you that fuels you to work hard for the next one. While you were chasing that high and not wanting to be rude you simply replied with,

“Thanks, dad.”

And all of Devildom seemed to freeze over. You could hear Lucifer’s pen dropping to the floor behind you while Mammon choked on something somewhere else in the room. There were no sounds of papers being written or even talking. All eyes landed on you as the reality of what you said started to sink in.

Oh fuck, did you call the Prince of Literal Hell your Dad? Well, he’s such a huge guy and acts almost exactly like those kind-hearted fathers you always see on social media in your realm. It doesn’t help that your actual dad kinda sucks, so maybe this is projection at work. Sadly, the damage has already been done. You could see Diavolo’s face turn from confusion to amusement in a matter of seconds.

“I...I…” Your already red face got darker when you heard the faint snickering coming from Barbatos. Fearing that your rapid heart bursting through your chest, you can only manage to squeak a “Bye!” Before dashing out of the building and out of the academy.

So here you are, holed up in your honorary room at Purgatory Hall while your D.D.D. continues to blow up on the nightstand next to the bed. You couldn’t go back to the HOL, not immediately at least. You felt so embarrassed that you called your housemates’s semi-boss your father.

At least the residents at Purgatory Hall understood your human err. Solomon did give you some shit about it, but that was a given because, well, it’s Solomon. If he wasn’t teasing you about this, then you would have bigger fish to fry in Hell. Simeon was the most sympathetic person about your current predicament while Luke was just happy that you’re hanging out for a few hours. He can complain about the demons later.

You just hope this shitshow cools down soon. Maybe a nap will calm you down.

Hours have passed. Still afraid to look at your phone, your only indicator of time passing was Simeon coming up to your room with a tray of tonight’s dinner with a side dish almost overflowing with cookies courtesy of Luke. Bless these angels, both of them.

And sure enough, your phone stopped vibrating non-stop. Before you could deduce that the battery died, a singular buzz proved otherwise. Damn it.

Still, you couldn’t avoid the brothers forever. They’ll probably kick up another storm of messages since you haven’t replied to them initially. With a defeated sigh, you grabbed your phone and unlocked it. Let's see...143 messages in the HOL+Royals group chat, 103 messages in the HOL group chat, 87 messages from Mammon, 15 messages from Asmo, 10 messages from Lucifer, 5 messages from Levi, 1 message from Satan, 2 messages from Diavolo-

...2 messages from Diavolo. Sent a minute ago. Welp, no use avoiding him either since he’s the sole reason you’re even in Hell in the first place.

MC! Are you alright? You sure ran out of the room quite fast. I didn’t know humans could reach those speeds.
