What if the GIW controls what’s accessible on the internet? Okay so imagine that for whatever reason Tim Drake has a laptop from Danny or maybe Tucks PDA:

“Hey, Tim, you called while I was in class so now you’re on speaker and everyone can hear you.” Danny tells him quickly before he can say anything.

“Alright,” Tim doesn’t seem to care if the class is able to hear, “so the laptop is fine now, but it wasn’t letting me into some things, citing an error code that shouldn’t exist so I did some digging and Danny is there only one network provider in Amity?”

“Yeah, everyone uses it, why?”

“I think they’re controlling what is visible to you all on the internet. Because there’s no result online for Superman or, or, the Justice League, none of that.”

You could hear a pin drop in the classroom, even Lancer, who had been intending to tell Danny to hang up or take the call into the hallway was staring at Danny and the phone, spinning a pencil in his hands.

“Who… who are those people? Superman and…” Danny trails off.

“Superman is an alien from the planet Krypton. Our sun gives him powers like flight, heat vision, ice breath, and a whole lot more.” Tim explains, “and The Justice League is an organization of superhero’s dedicated to protecting Earth and its inhabitants. If they knew about Phantom or Amity, or had received any sort of distress call they would’ve sent someone over with a similar power set and helped train Phantom, since he’s a newer hero.”

It’s silent in the classroom. Nobody has anything to say.

“Can you fix it?” Danny asks, voice scratchy from the burning in the back of his eyes and throat.

So yeah— I know nothing about technology n stuff so feel free to like play around with the idea. Also did anybody else’s teachers make us answer our phones on speaker if they rang in class? Or was that just my terrible high school?

Fuck it, Vlad in the modern day Headcanons

- Calls every technological appliance with a screen a "pad" because Seras showed him an IPad first.

- He was shocked to know he has so much stuff written about him, and absolutely delighted about it.

- Enraptured by the idea of a grocery store. Doesn't understand why there's hungry people when there's so much food available. (No he doesn't know what a "Marx" is)

- Got a bit scared about headphones at first, denied it entirely. Prefers to listen to music on full speaker, much to Integra's frustration.

- Cries watching movies. Tries to play it off.

- Broke a phone because he wanted to understand how it worked. Got in trouble.

- Doesn't understand how a car works for the life of him. Likes the idea though, even if he misses his horse.

- Has to be physically dragged out of libraries, (all kinds of) stores and jewelry shops.

- Whenever they visit a city he insists on visiting the local church. Opinions vary, and Seras and Integra find him a bit snobbish.

- Finds modern clothes a bit boring, really wants a cape again.

- Once saw someone being unruly in the street and confronted them, leading to a physical fight. (He won, but also got in trouble again for breaking 8 bones in their body)

- Looks forward to movie night each week. Really into historical dramas/war movies and, surprisingly, animated films.

Hello, I saw your all for you AU and I was wondering how smart tails is gonna be in the AU? Does sonic have nuclear bomb blueprints made of crayon on the fridge?

Something like that, but more like planes that can shoot missiles(he's obbessed with air crafts). As for his level of smarts - Tails is very gifted with growing intelligence. He may not know everything now but he's got a curious mind that is ready to learn anything and everything. He's still very young so he doesn't have the exact smarts as modern Tails does, but still more than any 4 year old should. He's also smart enough that when he is tagging a long with Sonic to a tutoring session, the young fox will grasp the topic faster than Sonic

Oh and he can talk in complete sentences, with the occasional pronunciation struggle, but he could read like 4-5th grade level(he still prefers to be read to though).

He is still a toddler and believes in Santa and the tooth fairy, so kinda maybe imagine boss baby but replace the seriousness businessmen with a more toddler like inventor genius.

I hope that answers ur question and even gives ya more info on him!

Hey dude, in regards to the person that anon messaged you about “endogenic” systems… don’t worry you’re fine.

The way DID is formed is this: repeated traumatic events before age 9, because that is when your personality is forming. Your personality then does not fully form into one. This is where a lot of people get it wrong, and why the name was changed to DID from Multiple Personality Disorder—because it’s not multiple personalities, it’s a fractured personality. This, in fact, can only be caused by trauma.

When anon was talking about being denied a diagnosis, they’re being denied because they lack a core component (diagnostic criteria) of the disorder.

This is not to be mean or belittle anon, because they’re likely a victim of something else. It’s called Mass Psychogenic Illness, and if you want I encourage you to look this up in regards to “online illness epidemic” (it’s really interesting actually). There are tons of medical professionals who talk about this.

There was tons of teen girls who started suddenly ticcing after being exposed to Tourette’s online. But when they were removed from the online content, the tics stopped. Because they didn’t have Tourette’s. What they were experiencing was real, but it wasn’t Tourette’s (You can search this up too, I read it in an article).

This is happening very commonly in regard to DID. There is a lot of online misinformation going on around it which affects people actually diagnosed with DID a lot. This misinformation is very harmful, and causes people like anon to think they have DID.

Of course, that doesn’t mean I’m not saying anon doesn’t have DID. They specifically may not remember the trauma, but another alter might—and that could be the case. Though, I do doubt it, as DID is extremely rare and caused be extreme trauma. But I’m saying this to give anon grace in that there is a chance.

So, yeah. You don’t have to worry about online lecturers like anon. In fact, please don’t. The science directly contradicts them.

Also sorry this was very long. As someone who has illnesses that have been trivialized and had misinformation spread about because of this phenomenon, I can get very passionate about it. Thanks for listening and understanding. I may get flamed in the comments because this is Tumblr but if you don’t believe me please look up reputable sources (google scholar not google some guy) and they will back me up in this. Lexi turned to face Tim as she noticed him working on a new project in the Batcave. Catwoman called her over for a girls night, and she was her to pick up Cass and Stephanie when she saw the error message. "Okay, even my laptop shows Superman and it's from another dimension. Tim, who's laptop is this?" Tim looked over to Lexi before looking to the computer. "It's my friend Danny's computer. He wanted me to see why he wasn't getting information, and when the JL hasn't known about the ghost issue in Amity Park until now."

Lexi looked over the error screen and noticed something a little odd. "Hey Tim, open up the source code for this website. I think I spot something in the corner, and I want to see if the code for it is there." Tim nodded as he quickly opened the source code strolling down until Lexi told him to stop. "Property of the Ghost investigation Ward. Not those losers. We are going to need an emergency meeting, and patch in Danny and his friends. I will over through this corrupt institution before the week is out." Lexi said as she quickly cancelled plans with Selina and the girls explaining the situation.

Tim frowned as he tried to look up the GIW. "Lex, I don't get it. Who are the Ghost Investigation Ward, and why would they be messing with Amity Park, more importantly Danny?" He asked as he started to hack his way through their systems to gain more information. He frowned seeing one of the backers. "Oh great, Amanda Waller is supporting them. I can already tell this isn't gonna be good." he sighed as he opened a new folder making sure they get all the information they can on this group.
