While I do find it funny that henchmen in Gotham probably warn each other about the Red Hood because he's a bat who will actually kill you. I think it would be better if Jason was actually seen as some sort of savior or idol to like 90% of the goons scattered around Gotham. Doesn't matter who they work for, they all know Jason, former crime-lord that took over majority of Gotham's underground in one night.

Goon: Oh my God, boss, is that you?

Jason, pulling out his guns, about to shoot:

Goon: Mr. Hood, sir???

Jason, halfway about to pull the trigger: Wait a min–Jeremy? Oh wow, it's been ages! How's the wife?

Goon (Jeremy): Oh my God it IS you, holy shit where have you BEEN? Me and the guys miss you, man!

Dick, with a knife at his throat: What is happening right now

Jason: Ahh, well, crime-lording just wasn't fitting in on the daily schedule. Tryna turn over a new leaf and all that

Goon (Jeremy): Aw, that's disappointing. We really liked working for you, right guys?

[Chorus of enthusiastic "YEAHS" from the rest of the henchmen (even the one holding Dick at knifepoint)]

Goon (Jeremy): Well, anyways, I can't beat you up knowing you're my old boss! You gave us the best health benefits! We'll just let you take the evidence and leave.

And that's why 95% percent of Jason's missions in Gotham end in success. Not because he's willing to kill people or because rogues are terrified of him, but because 90% of the rogues' henchmen once worked for Jason and fuckin love him lol.

It's a halloween gala happening in the mannor. Jason is going as a zombie, Tim also as a zombie (Jason pesters him abt it when they see each other with the exact same costume). Jason changes into his Wonder Woman costume. Dick is going as a trapezist (he hung so. many. things. on the ceilling to give a show through the night), Babs is going as a Siren, Cass is a Mummy, Steph is wearing the stupidest and most off brand costume of Spoiler you could find and being a total fangirl of herself, Bruce is going as Zorro, Duke is going as Batman. Everyone is fawning over the Waynes but they notice a lack of Damian.

Where is Damian, omg. They start looking around. Jason stumbles on a girl dressed as Wednesday Addams and spills red punch on her - she nailed the unblinking glare, and he apologizes. Another girl, dressed as Enid, comes and starts yelling at him about disrespecting her gf and he apologizes like "I'm sorry miss", which makes Wednesday cosplayer blush very hard. Enid looks at her with an absolute smitten and endeared look.

"Aaaww Dami, we talked about this before! You can't blush every time someone uses girl pronouns for you, that's gonna give us away!"

Jason freezes. He looks over the Wednesday cosplayer and notices the very much Talia features. Oh my God, this is Damian.

He gathers everyone and they change costumes.

Bruce comes out as Morticia, Jason changes into Lurch, Tim goes as Pugsley, Dick as Fester, Cass puts on a gigantic octopus costume, Steph also goes as Enid, Duke dresses as Gomez and walks hand in hand with Bruce EVERYWHERE. They all dance to Goo Goo Muck AND Gaga's Bloody Mary. Damian's dance ends with Enid kissing her Wednesday. It's on the news the next day that there were 2 mistery girls who stole the scene in the Waynes' party and the whole family threatens the newspaper if they dont write that Wednesday was Damian. There was only ONE mistery girl, thank you very much.

It was Flatline, and Bruce almost has a heart attack when he hears it. Everybody glares at him so he doesn't actually voice his concerns but still.

Cass uses she/her to talk about Damian sometimes after that. Damian always blushes and everyone coos at him.

oooo a 5k? Are you a student athlete?is that how you got a full ride?

Yes, but no, but yes, but no.

I've been an althete for my entire school career up until my senior year of highschool, so I guess? Student Athlete?

For a year or so I was a gymnast. (My sister and I did it together, she stayed her entire life, I did not, obviously)

Then for a few years I played T-Ball (recently found out via my mom that I made the front page of the city newspaper because I hit the ball and then felt really bad so I went to go pick it up instead of like....playing the game).

Then I played soccer for, so many years, I couldn't tell you how many, I lost count. (I was offense most of the time, rip my ankles)

I almost did volleyball but chickened out last minute (wouldve been a setter or libero).

Then, being the band kid I was, I joined marching band my freshman year. (ah seven years of playing an instrument leads to this)

Got bored of that so I switched to colorguard for two years which was soooo much more athletically demanding my GAWD. (two years of ✨trauma✨ but I might buy a sabre soon, idk, feeling kinda silly)

And Senior year I did nothing and got a job to fill the void of having way too much freetime for me to know what to do with. How do you guys not do sports? What do you do with all the free time???

So yes, I was a "student athlete," kinda sorta, not really, but sure. If I kept playing I probably could've gotten a music scholarship but I haven't touched that instrument in almost 3 years. Same with maybe a marching band scholarship? Idk if my college does that tbh.

But how I actually got my scholarships? Tests and Parents pfft.

5.2 + 3.98 GPA (dont ask why its not a 4.0, I will literally start crying, went my ENTIRE LIFE with a 4.0 only for the lAsT sEmEsTer of SENIOR YEAR---full disrespect: fuck college Spanish), straight A's MINUS ONE CLASS (if I could fist fight college spanish I so would).

I was a dual enrollment kid so I was half a highschool student and half a college student, shot my GPA through the roof and got me to graduate with my AA the same year I graduated highschool. I was the Jason Todd, loved school, was great at school, never struggled, never studied, etc etc.

SAT scores and ACT scores got me a 75% scholarship to any college I wanted to go to in the area (I was only a few points away from 100% but I was too lazy to try again lmao). Then I got another scholarship for being a military brat. Then I got another one for having parents with post-military issues where I basically get paid to go to school. All of that just combines to a full ride, plus any extra money from the scholarships goes to me which is more than I need so it's in my savings acct.

First two years of college were completely free because I was in the dual enrollment program (free college woo), next three years are free because of multiple scholarships, I just say full ride cuz it's quicker to say and gets the point across.

As for the 5ks: My mom and I like to do them together and do at least one a month. This month we're doing an obstacle 5k where you physically cannot complete it without a buddy or a group. Army crawling under electricity, balancing on things by countering each others weight, ninja warrior wall where your team is at the top to catch you, etc etc.

My family (found moreso than blood) is going as Justice League members because there were too many of us to be the Power Rangers. We're doing another one of these in Dec. and then the 10k version of it next year and then hopefully the 15k version. I know my mom and I want to eventually do a marathon.

My main goal is to complete a triathalon. I've ALWAYS wanted to do one so we're gonna try to do it sometime late next year. Starting with the shorter triathalons and slowly working our way up to the more average/long ones.

Now don't get it twisted, I'm not like, a runner or workout junky. Quite literally the opposite. My mom is a runner and its her therapy. Mine? Meeting new people, getting some sun, getting the body moving, and maybe getting some nice scenary. I do run parts of the races, but for the most part I like a nice brisk walk since its healthier for my body than running (yay chronic pain and stupid ovaries!)

I hate the stereotype that you have to run the whole thing or be super fit to do marathons and races. No?? Anyone who wants to can. The point for me isn't to win or to place, its just to finish and have fun. Do I enjoy having a good time? Hell yea, I beat my time by 10 minutes last solo 5k I did. But I'm also the first person who will happily sacrifice a good time so I can enjoy meeting other racers and walking with them.

The last 5k I did was a forest one (it fucking sucked) where the terrain was sand and there were soooo many branches and hills. I watched a racer sprain their ankle right in front of me so we ended up walking the rest together and I carried them for some bits. So my time was terrible, but hey, I got to meet someone I never would've if I didn't stop---and that's more valuable to me.

It was summer break. School had finished around a week ago and you were glad. This meant you no longer had to fake being alright in front of your friend(s) and pretend to eat. They had started to notice that you had lost an unhealthy amount of weight. When they had asked, you shrugged it off or said you were working out a lot. They believed it and carried on since you were that great of a liar but still couldn’t shake the feeling that something was wrong.

It was another normal day for you, isolating yourself in your room, slipping into the dining room for meals, grabbing a water bottle instead, and slipping back out, heading to your room once again. (sO mAnY cOmMaS) You had begun to feel lightheaded but quickly dismissed it. ‘They go through so much more than you do, they’ve probably sustained worse injuries. They probably even have more scars than you do from the League! No wonder they didn’t let you join them on their nightly adventures. You’re a weak and pathetic girl.’ You thought.

You heard a knock on your door after three hours. You made your way to the door and opened it to see your twin brother standing there in a suit. “Y/N, what have you been doing?! The gala is in an hour, get ready you insufferable harlot!” He yelled, then trudged his way down the stairs. ‘You’ve got to be kidding me, GALA? Since when the frick was there a gala happening? I was never informed and he somehow expects me to know?’ You thought.

Rushing towards your closet, you searched it until you found your F/C dress/suit (cause I love women in suits it screams power as it should) and matching flats/heels and quickly put them on. You rushed over to your vanity and did your hair and/or makeup. Satisfied with your look, you attempted to stand up only to fall back down onto the chair you were seated at. You became dizzy all of a sudden and the room seemed as if it was spinning.

It became harder for you to remain awake and you felt your eyelids become heavy. They soon fluttered shut, your body falling limp. Your body fell off the chair you had been sitting on to the floor with a thud. Back downstairs, your family was impatiently waiting for your arrival. They had thirty minutes until the gala began. “Where’s Y/N?” Bruce questioned. “She was unaware of the gala, Father. I suggest we carry on without her. She’s nothing but a nuisance and dishonor to the Wayne name.”

“Don’t call her that demon spawn, she’s more of a Wayne than you’ll ever be.” Jason retorted, defending you. He didn’t like how Damian referred to you. He never called you by your name, only insults. Damian hated Tim, but he still called him by his name. Jason could never comprehend how or why Damian resented you. You were such an amazing person. You were sarcastic, witty, funny, and had a big heart.

“That’s enough Jason. Dick, go check on your sister.” Jason was shocked when Bruce hadn’t reprimanded Damian on how he disrespected his sister yet did so to Jason who was trying to defend her. It was clear to everyone that Damian had always been the favorite blood child. Jason hated this a lot. He knew how much of an amazing person you were and that you didn’t deserve such mistreatment. Heck, even Alfred sometimes forgot you existed. Not that he meant to, he just didn’t know you well and you didn’t speak often.

As Dick disappeared up the stairs, Jason turned to Bruce. “Why aren’t you defending your daughter? Is it because you agree with him? That she’s just another mishap of yours? That Damian’s the better one?” Jason said, raising his voice slightly. He couldn’t help it, his anger was rising. He was done with Bruce pretending like you never existed. Before Bruce could respond, they heard Dick call out to them.

“Guys! Y/N fainted! Her pulse is present but weak. She has no physical injuries, but she’s extremely thin, pale, and light.”

They rushed over to her and examined her. Dick was right, you were extremely thin and pale. “Call an ambulance!” Bruce commanded Tim. Tim spoke over the phone and soon, an ambulance arrived and carried you away. Everyone loaded into the limo and followed the ambulance to the hospital.

Someone who can be codependent on him. He probably prefers a childish S/O due to never having a real childhood and they can help him bring it back or because it makes them more dependent.

Hes a dom at heart but he does like the chase so they'd be a little feisty. Someone who'll let him use their body. Not like in a sexual way but he'd carry his S/O around like a comfort item or stuffed animal so they better get used to it.

Someone who can silence the voices in his head and make his problems with Loomis disappear for awhile.

BUBBA SAWYER

Be nice to him. That's it. Hes such a lonely sweetheart he just wants love. Give him love dammnit! Anyone who wont hit him no matter how badly he fucks up.

His entire life hes been told hes useless so tell him he isnt. Let him know how useful he is and how much his family needs him.

Someone who'll stick up for him. Yea he loves his family but his S/O stealing Draytons beating stick and burning it? Best thing to happen to him.

Someone who will love him for him and not mind how he looks. A kind soul. This means been beaten stabbed call all sorts of nasty names. His S/O will need to have a lot of love to give to help his self esteem.

He learned about love from his mom so getting into her hood graces is a plus. Also being the odd one out or the freak. He knows what it's like being the bullied kid and wants to make you feel better because he never had the chance when he was younger.

You need to have a shit ton of patience to deal with this man. Hes emotionally constipated and he doesn't plan on changing that any time soon.

Someone who wants kids. He need to have his little nuclear family he needs someone who'll let him know when hes gone too far but still will forgive him and tell him he wont leave him.

If you give any attention to his siblings be prepared to give him 100x more or he'll be whining all night. Hes worried that you'll think Vincent is better than him.

Just kiss his scars. He needs it and you know you wanna. He needs them kissed and loved and to be told that hes more than what his parents told him he was

VINCENT SINCLAIR

Dont be too bold or brash you might make this man faint. Someone who loves his art and tells him hes handsome. He needs it.

An S/O who dotes on him. I know how an artists schedule is. It's not the best and he probably has carpol tunnel. Let him know when he needs a break and assure him that it's okay to rest.

My assumption always was new 52 roy is not the same character and didnt have the same experiences post crisis roy did to explain away him hanging out with jason.

i agree, roy and kori are not the same characters as they were pre-flashpoint. they have both lost their individuality, their complexity, and their kindness.

but i think its especially apparent with roy, he went from quite a well rounded, jack of all trades kinda guy, to just being Weapons. like the fact that he was a musician, and someone involved in the peace movement was just lost. bc the jason book didnt actually have time to establish much of a history or a personality for him

if he did have any kind of relation to pre-flashpoint roy, it wouldnt make sense why he was so ok with murder and guns. and why he didnt care for the titans, or why he was ok hanging out w his best friends little brother. that alone doesnt make any sense. dc didnt have a plan for him or kori, and when they were putting together a team for jason, they just pulled the husks of their characters out, and put them to work humanising jason. its thinly veiled and disrespectful to their legacies in my opinion.

i think it also was the final nail in the coffin for the titans, they used to be a really great team that garnered a lot of respect from other characters, as well as fans. but now theyre so surface level, they arent well established, and theyre played off as gimmicks. 

i dont like that all of roys progress was lost. as a recovering addict and a father, it was so moving to see him completely change his life and build a relationship with his daughter. i dont think thats possible in rebirth, considering how shallow these books are, and im worried his character is lost for good. the only time ive seen a glimpse of his brilliance, his tactical and combat ability, was when he was using it against wally and dick in that titans book. and that was a bad fucking book lmao. anyway he is entirely a different character with almost no relationship or ties to his old team mates and family.

Tonight (starting from 02.19.19 @ somewhere around 11:00 pm), a close family friend of mine had revealed to me the critiques he had for me. They were in regards to my behaviour and poor attitude. Apparently, he wasn’t the only one who thought this. The conversation that followed was what had sent me into a spiral. I lost it. But instead of attacking him, I ran to my mom in seek of guidance and reassurance. She gave me the hard truth and I offered my perspective. I’ve come to the conclusion that I do need a change but I also need to be away from certain people. Jason showed me his true colours tonight and so will I. He’s no longer a friend of mine. Although I appreciate his honesty, I don’t like the way he delivered it. This all began because I simply asked him for a favour. Guess I was foolish to believe that he’d actually be reliable. Lesson learned. Now it’s time to do great things and cry a little more along the way because that’s the only thing I know at this point. Maybe my future coping mechanisms will involve less crying, and hopefully less negative people like Jason and his family. I guess my main concern is about how my mistakes are more memorable than other people’s mistakes even though they’re the same. Why must I walk away with the label of a disrespectful daughter with a poor temper? Those things may be valid in certain situations but that should not follow me everywhere I go. Why do I have to act like I’m part of some happy family with a perfect dynamic? Why am I expected to hold my tongue just because it bothers others? Anyways, I’m exhausted and extremely upset. I’ll be taking a break from social media and finding new ways to get in touch with my spirit. Hopefully I will find peace through this experience.

Actually, people have been really supportive. Yes, my mate Pete and cousin Holly feign surprise that any woman would want to shag me, but they are cheerleaders for Lucy plugging the hole in my wellbeing.

But the whole nature of domestic cohabitation, joint decision-making, constructive compromises, even sharing a bed every night and waking every morning with her, feels vague and almost absent.

When I say this to anyone, even my brilliant counsellor, Heidi, they go wide-eyed in shock. Jeannies eyes opened wide also in what I assumed was the same reaction but wasnt. Adam, thats exactly how I feel! Dave and I were together for years, but now when I imagine living with him, theres no sense of ever having done so.

Prodded by Heidi, Ive unpacked my grief amnesia: Its like suddenly my memory banks have been partially erased and I need to rebuild in a way that will have me cope with the present and future. Jeannies film analogy is not as mad as I sound saying all this. It is Bourne-like! As if Id suddenly woken up with the kids, family, friends, a home, a job and am looking for clues about what I feel about them, who I am now and how to do the best I can alone in making the right calls to bring up Millie and Matt, manage relationships, work, love, sex, the future. Everything a lens on loss.

Like Bourne sitting in the cafe not knowing why he noticed registrations on cars in the parking lot or why he can speak many languages, I find myself instinctively judging everything that crosses my path as of value to my new life or not and then acting on this new input. This extends to people, work, possessions, and even, it seems, my own memories, in which Ive left wiped stuff that doesnt help me deal with the present. Looking back, its part of the reason why I changed so much in the months since Helen died, needing as I did new content to replace that lost.

The comfort is that that my love of Helen is sharper than ever. We are conjoined closer by the remaining uncluttered memories of the past even as we are separated by the future. The Love Supremacy perhaps
