For me, dysphoria is dissatisfaction with narrow, restrictive gender roles and the homophobia that accompanies them. It gets exhausting to feel that every act, interest, and trait is judged for its gender conformity; that I might have to defend the parts of me that are seen as "feminine."

I'm not dysmorphic--I'm okay with my physical form--but I'm not exactly in love with being a dude. I want to learn to express myself better, and to express a broader, deeper (and overall more positive) range of emotions.

I dunno, it's hard to articulate my gender. The best I've come across so far was someone semi-jokingly saying "male wife." And before transitioning all the way, Eddie Izzard used to say "male lesbian." Certainly genderqueer, at any rate.

Yes! Social dysphoria is horrible, and strict definitions of gender are also horrible. Mod is abinary and has kind of an abstract idea of gender too.

Imagine how less dysphoric binary trans people would be if cis people didn't insist on categorizing hobbies into "feminine or masculine".... that would be nice for nonbinary people as well. Just let people have interests dang it.

For your gender mod has seen a lot of terms that kind of fit the vibe of "male but sometimes in a traditionally feminine role but not feminine but in a gender neutral way but in a guy way": like maiboy, male genderqueer, rosman/rosboy, malewife but in a serious way, femarsic, roseusboy, beauboy, lavender boy, etc. So it's a weird feeling but you're not the only person mod has seen dealing with it.

Gender is hard and good luck with getting better at expressing yourself anon!

i couldn't find anything with that definition, but i did find these:

Effemal (link): a gender in which you strongly express femininity but identify as male.

Piuttoboy (link): A feminine gender for people who still identify as boys. This gender can be used by anyone of any assigned birth. A piuttoboy is someone who identifies as feminine but still connects with the boy label.

Syndeboy (link): were you know you're a boyr, but you have a deep connection to femininity.

Artehelian (link): describes someone who is simultaneously fem(inine)-aligned and man(/guy/boy/male)-aligned. this includes those who are partially fingendered and partially male, those who are connected to feminine manhood (with or without actually being a feminine man), someone whose gender experiences are similar to fingender/feminine men, etc.
