IS THE WEEK I GO TO MY MEDICAL TRIP (in one week)

And you see, me and my little sister medical trip, is in Arizona, (because my mom doesn’t like the health care here.)

And you see, in Arizona my cousins have a pool.

We Alaskans do not (other than indoor swimming)

And, I can’t really swim if I have my PERIOD.

I’m already not looking forward to this trip, because honestly my cousins are very tiring, and I think my uncle hates my guts and perfer my younger siblings, and Im gonna miss a school dance.

And, most likely I have to babysit 6 KIDS.

While my mom and my aunt + uncle go do something together.

Kinda random, but whenever I go on planes I SOMEHOW ALWAYS THROW UO AND GET A NOSE BLEED?!

You see, nose bleeds wouldn’t be that big of a deal IF I didn’t have a bleeding disorder.

I’m grateful I’m going, VERY grateful. Because that means my little sister can get her medical shit done, and so can I. But it’s just so mentally draining.

Also kinda random, I have a lot of SH scars on my legs, and my dear mother only knows about my arms. So it’s gonna be amazing for when I get a tan, my lovely scars are gonna show even more! To make my dear mom even more disappointed in me!!

My unpopular mk opinions

These are my unpopular opinions,venting,and genuinely how i feel about mk lore and characters.

This is just my personal opinions and feels ok? If you do not agree nor like. Then this post IS NOT FOR YOU! so keep scrolling down. (I can't believe i have to remind people of common sense and how to use their brain functions.)

Ok like i said a but long. But bear with me.

• Im sorry but liu kang x kitana can not realistically happen. At least for long term. They both have too much going on. Kitana has a whole realm let alone her own goals too separate from liu. And no offense guys but liu kang said he wants out in several stories endings. So a peaceful,quiet,normal lady and/or spouce is what he needs. Away from kombat,away from mortal kombat especially. So yeah....sorry guys. But your little fantasy of liu kang being with some badass warrior chick is just that. A fantasy and a boring one at that. Liu kang just needs a simple honey by his side. (This goes for liu kang being paired up with any of the known established lady characters)

• Speaking of which,liu kang should've retired. Not become a god. What was nrs thinking?!

• Kung lao should've been champion and the new chosen one. But y'all allergic to good storytelling.

• I could say so much about the lady characters. But I'll keep it short. Unfortunately guys,sexism exists. And it's affecting men too so if they actually eant people to enjoy fighting games. Dont make your lady fighters like shit and only eye candy. Let alone make them broken because your too lazy to program good movesets for them that actually work.

• Ah raiden raiden raiden. Where do i begin? First,they screw you over AGAIN. they take away you're whole ass personality. Nrs  only pretends now to actually gaf about you. And most of that is lip service. Shall i continue? You should've been retired by now. And not to mention they defang you for plot and treat you like shit as well as your mains. That pretty much covers it.

• Shang tsung my baby sweetheart,look at what they do? Do people care about your character? No. They dont. They never did until you looked lioe a pretty boy band hack. And no offense....they brought back the irl goat shang tsung himself,for what? Only to mock us fans and tease us with the false promises of something actually good? Yeah. Sadly i feel this. Tho i appreciate all of shang tsung's incarnations and iterations. Cary hiroyuki tagawa IS shang tsung to me. And honestly the only one worth mentioning. Because he's honest to god skilled in his craft. Im not saying this out of fandom,to butter his toast nor nostalgia sake. I genuinely feel he does shang tsung like nobody else does. Look guys alan lee is ok. But i feel he NEEDS SOMEONE TO WRITE HIM SOMETHING BETTER. Honey plz let me write for you! I know what shang neeeeeeds!

• That being said. Im sick of people saying shang tsung is eViL. When? Also is he tho? Anymore than anyone else in that world. Dude you're killing. And even if that wasn't a factor,there are worse guys. Shang tsung is actually compared to the likes of quan chi,shinnok,shao kahn,ONAGA,THE FUCKING ONE BEING ITSELF!?! shang's a fairly honorable and reasonable man. He is psuedo-immortal but he was once an earthrealmer warrior(idc what nrs says thats what he is end of story. Because thats what he was truly and it makes for a more compelling story) so unlike the other "baddies" he's the only really "human" one. So he's more realistic and relatable. Which honestly makes for a more interesting antag. Or even neutral character. Seriously guys,it's right there. Why do people refuse to see it is beyond me.

• Bi-han....you dont deserve what you're given. Im sorry.

• Same with mileena.

• Also mileena isn't some disease ridden floosy,isn't secretly shangs kid,she is a clone and an experiment and is a fucked up lil froot loop. She does get a heart of gold later and reconciles with kitana or should. But shang tsung hates mileena,sees her only a an object let alone just a pat on the back for a job well succeeded. Shes an experiment to him. Shao kahn sees her as a means to an end but an heir to be used. Sindel say milly as a daughter but the lesser one and only in high regards when kitana "disappoints" her. Sindel before and after the dark magic purge,was kind of selfish. She never hated her daughters,but she was arrogant. But that's just her personality. Anyways. Mileena is a clone/twin sister of kitana and deserves better and to be her own person and have her own agency. Sorry not sorry but i hate "fandom" mileena.

• Kung lao....my baby.....you deserve better. But you deserve to obliterate nrs for the mistreatment

• Sonya blade deserves to kill more. Let alone never be written by men ever again. NEVER AGAIN.

• We as fans deserve a good game. No gimmicks,not unnecessary dlc,full functional and FULLY MADE gameplay,no guest characters,no characters that was in the main storymode not on the roster let alone some pre order fucking only. No a fully good game. That has minigames to keep you busy. That has a fully open world krypt. A game WORTHY OF THE TITLE OF MORTAL KOMBAT!

People don't understand how long 10,000 yrs is. (That is roughly the dawn of civilization and city building. When humans mostly became stationary. Like ffs it doesn't make sense especially if you see the events of the mortal kombat we all know,aka when liu kang became champion aka when a majority of stories start,start in the 80s,90s,or even early 2000s)

Shang at most is probably a 1,000 yrs.

Outworld also works differently in time than earthrealm. So 10,000 yrs is around 1,000 in earthrealm yrs potentially. So that being,shang if we were to say about 1,000yrs. That would put him roughly in the han dynasty? He was legitimately born when the great wall was being built and before the Mongolian invasions? Again this is just speculation. But thats a long time ago as is. But he doesn't need to be balls old to be balls old? Like people forget that shang tsung only pretends to be "otherworldly" when he's just some dude who's really really really skilled in magic and martial arts. He is psuedo immortal. Cursed to take the life force of other beings to sustain his own less he become dust. Like a energy vampire with extra steps.

Like he's one of the easiest characters to understand as an antag and is complex and multifaceted. Maybe it's just my fixation with him,maybe the tisim goes too hard. But i just can't wrap my head around how hard this is to understand for some people?

Like China,is a huge huge ass country with a rich history,culture,has had many advancements that even are used to this day. There is a lot what we have as "modern" technology and medicine that is still used. Maybe in better practice,but the method is still the same. There is so much to this beautiful culture. But people gotta be weird about chinese and asian cultures for some damn reason.

Sure shang tsung is old. But he's not stupid. He's adaptable,that's one of his core traits! If anything he's more informed than other outworlders.

Again i just feel he's 500-1,000yrs at most.

It just makes the most sense. I mean the man looks like this. He has clothes that feel more towards that particular period or a combo of the periods around that time.

The han dynasty or earlier periods if they want to go earlier but either way he's chinese,not western so plz keep this in mind. That makes the most sense to me. It's ok to have him old(i prefer that honestly) but be reasonable. Mk isn't rooted in reality for sure but it's kinda nicer when people respectfully show asian cultures a bit more respect and representation. And not treat it as some "exotic fantasy land people"

In short: People with ASPD aren’t “bad”

Okay so this is just a rant but I hate when people assume just because someone has aspd means that they are evil or are only out to hurt others. I have aspd and I am not going to sugar coat it, I do not care about others or even myself. The ONLY exception to this is my husband and I genuinely do everything I can to treat him well. But everything else is expendable. But just because I don’t care about or hold value to these things does not mean I am actively seeking out people to hurt. I go to therapy, and have found effective ways to live a life I will be happy with. Me and my therapist have quite literally set my end goal as “learn to have fun in life with as little consequence as possible”. I sometimes even reference the “golden rule” ngl 💀. I’m just trying to have fun and not have to deal with consequences. Does that mean that everything im currently doing is “right”? Not at all, I am actively making decisions that will earn me great consequences. But, because I want it bad enough, I am willing to risk the consequences. But as long as I’m not hurting anything, why does it matter? I make friends with people I am fond of and I don’t really interact with people I don’t like unless the situation calls for it.

My point is, people with aspd can be just as kind or cruel as anyone else. We are all still biologically human 🫡. -Noelle

Tommy shakes his head from the other side of the island in the kitchen, sympathy clear in his expression. "I'm sorry, honey. I don't really know-...what?"

Evan turns suddenly at the name, eyes narrowed and the slightest upturn of his mouth, widening by the second.

"What did you just say?"

Tommy turns his head, eyes wide. "I mean I was just saying-.."

"No," Evan counters, shaking his head. He settles his water bottle on the island and walks around it, toward Tommy. "Before that. What did you call me?"

Tommy nods, pressing his lips together briefly. "Okay."

Evan smirks at him, tilting his head to the side as he slides his arms between Tommy's on his hips, looping them around his back. "I"m sorry, what?"

Tommy's eyes trail up his chest to his lips, smirking back at him as his eyes meet Evan's. "Honey."

Evan grins, clearly smitten at the name and Tommy lifts a hand to his jaw, brushes his thumb against his cheek.

"You like that," Tommy murmurs to him, only the slightest hint of teasing in his voice. Evan nods, still smiling at him instead of responding with words. Tommy leans in and kisses him, soft and chaste. Evan leans into him, sighing softly.

"You can say that again, any time," he murmurs when he pulls away. Tommy smirks at him and just leans and kisses him once more.
