She walks into the basement to find him putting pins in a map of D.C., hunched over his desk in concentration.

"Mulder?" she asks with an amused look on her face, paused in the doorway with her eyebrow arched.

With a brief glance up at her, he asks, "Scully, do you think I'm attractive?" Her hand almost slips off the door handle.

Her mouth falls open to answer, but she has no clue what words might come out. What is it he's wanting her to say? He doesn't look like he's joking. In fact, he looks deadly serious.

"I–"

"I just mean, if you saw me on the street, would you—you know—whistle at me?"

She wants to roll her eyes again, but there's a knot of something she refuses to acknowledge as jealousy in her chest that prevents her from doing so.

"Only if you're that concerned," she says, hoping she sounds firm and not at all interested in why her partner is getting hit on by women left and right.

He fumbles his way to his feet, stabbing himself in the palm with a pin accidentally in the process. He curses under his breath and shakes his hand out while eagerly shoving his arm in his jacket sleeve. "Okay," he says. "I think we should start by my gym, that's where it happens the most."

"Fine," she agrees stiffly, trying not to picture him breathless after a workout and surrounded by his loving admirers.

She drives, because she needs something to do with her hands. He navigates. It's his steps they're retracing, after all. He knows best what direction they need to head in.

They park on the street, exiting the car and getting a feel of their surroundings.

"There's my gym," he points out. She's not exactly sure what they're looking for, but she keeps her eyes peeled all the same.

After a few minutes spent wandering near the entrance, she's about to call it quits, but then a muscular little brunette calls out from across the street, grinning from ear to ear as she shouts, "Woo! I'd pay your dry cleaning bill just to watch you work out in that suit, handsome!"

Before either of them has time to respond, or even come to terms with what just happened, the woman disappears into a storefront. A yoga studio, Scully deduces from the sign out front.

"See?" Mulder says, swinging his hand out toward the other side of the street. The suddenness of his speech startles her out of her tense posture, and she forces her shoulders to relax.

"I give her points for creativity," she says, marching primly back to the car and throwing the driver's side door open.

The next place they drive is the grocery store, just a stone's throw away from his apartment building. Once again, she parks, and they wander about, but this time, their fellow pedestrians are blissfully silent. She looks around. There's the grocery store. Beside it, a pawn shop. On the other side, a place selling herbal supplements... and possibly also other "herbal" remedies. RadioShack across the street. Not much going on at—she checks her watch—8:47 am.

"Notice anything unusual?" she asks, watching as an older couple hobbles into the grocery store arm-in-arm.

His shoulders lift in a shrug. "It's quieter than usual," he says. "I'm not usually here this early on a week day."

She nods. This stop might have been a bust, but at least she didn't have to hear another cheesy one-liner directed at Mulder.

They're not so lucky at the next, and—she decides—final stop.

About a block down from the coffee shop in Georgetown that he frequents when he has to wake her at an ungodly hour, two women loiter outside a shop advertising high-quality tattoos and piercings. One takes a drag from her cigarette, then calls out, "Let's see a smile on those pouty lips!" The other woman chuckles, puffing out a cloud of smoke.

Mulder gives an awkward smile and nod in their direction, and Scully promptly grabs him by the arm, ushering him hurriedly back to the car.

She stews in silence on the drive back to the Hoover building. She knows she has no right to do so, and yet...

"You see what I mean, Scully?" he asks. "You gotta agree that something's unusual."

Does she? He's an attractive man. YES, okay, she's attracted to him. Can she fault other women for noticing? Maybe they could do to keep their mouths shut and leave him alone, sure, but wouldn't most men kill to have that kind of attention given to them?

"I don't know," she answers, her hands gripping the wheel.

"I'm serious. I've lived here for years, and this has never happened before. Then all of a sudden..."

"You're reading too much into it," she snaps. Then, softening her tone, "I mean, if they won't leave you alone, tell them to back off. Tell them you're an FBI agent and can arrest them for harrassment."

"Scully..."

"It's not an X-File, Mulder," she says decisively. "We've missed enough work as it is. Just forget about it."

His jaw shifts like he's about to argue her point, but instead he says the words she's always longed to hear from him.

"You're probably right."

She tries to forget about it.

On Thursday, he cheekily informs her that he had been called a "handsome devil" that morning while stopping by the bank. Friday, the descriptive term is decidedly less work-friendly, but he saunters in looking quite pleased with himself.

Gee, she sure is glad she told him not to worry about all the attention he's getting. Now, he actually seems to be enjoying it.

The weekend can't come soon enough. At 5:00 on the dot, she bids goodbye to his boyish smile and wishes him a good weekend. At home, she finishes off half a bottle of wine and watches some trashy reality TV until it's bedtime, and she promptly passes out.

Saturday, she wakes up feeling stupid. After popping a few advil, she deep cleans her kitchen, tossing out the now empty bottle of wine and even dusting on top of her cabinets, a task that requires standing precariously on the countertop with a featherduster in hand.

As the clock ticks closer to noon, though, she begrudgingly pulls herself away from her work and readies herself for her afternoon commitment with her sister. On the way to Melissa's dumpy—temporary—apartment, she picks up lunch from her favorite Chinese place. It's been months since Melissa came to town. She's not the kind to stay put in one place for long. If Scully hadn't been abducted, or whatever it was that happened to her, Missy wouldn't have been there in the first place.

The apartment is one she'd found on short notice when she heard what had happened, and came to support their mother throughout the ordeal. It pays by the month, and has a serious ant problem in the kitchen, but otherwise isn't the absolute worst living situation Scully could fathom. She liked having her sister nearby, even if it was only for a while.

Now, the ceaseless call of adventure summons Melissa once more, and it is time to go. Scully had promised to help her pack her things this weekend, and now the day is here.

"You sure you don't want to stay?" she asks, loathing how the sentence makes her sound like her 15 year old self when Missy had first left home for her first (and only) year of college.

"You don't need me, Dana," her sister says. "Besides, you know I can only handle so much of Mom telling me what I should be doing with my life."

"She means well," Scully assures her.

"I know she does," Missy says with a smile. "And I know you're no stranger to doing the complete opposite of what she tells you, too."

Scully breathes out a laugh.

"Come on, help me take these boxes down to the moving truck." Melissa shucks her jacket off, tying it around her waist in preparation for the physical labor it would take to carry multiple loads of boxes down four flights of stairs. One of the worst features of this apartment building is it's permanently broken elevator. Moving in must have been a nightmare.

Bending to pick up her first box, Scully catches a glimpse of something on Missy's right wrist, visible now that her jacket has come off.

"What's that?" she asks, brows furrowing.

"Hmm?" her sister asks. Her eyes follow Dana's to the marking on her skin on the underside of her arm. "Oh, I got that while you were in the hospital. You're like 90% of my impulse control, Dana."

Her teasing tone does not negate the heaviness that comes from mentioning that horrific time for her family. That time when she was all but lost to all those who knew her.

"What is it?" she asks.

Missy sets her box back down, and Scully does the same. "Check it out," she says, drawing closer so Scully can see.

On her wrist is a small cross tattoo, remarkably similar in shape and size to the cross Scully wears around her neck.

Strange. She's fairly certain Melissa hasn't been to mass in years, much to their mother's chagrin.

"Why?" she asks, genuine confusion lacing her voice.

"Don't go all 'Mom' on me, Dane," Missy jokes, smacking her in the shoulder. "It's just a tattoo."

Scully shakes her head. "No, I mean, why that? Why a cross?"

"Oh." Melissa looks down at her wrist in thought, then back up at Dana. "It just... seemed to be the thing to do."

"Something to remember me by?" Scully tries to joke, though she's aware of how morbid that sounds, to live to see the way her sister planned to memorialize her.

"Actually, no," Melissa corrects. "It was your partner."

Huh?

"Mulder?" Scully asks, wondering how on earth her necklace—the symbol of Christianity—relates to her unbelieving partner.

"Yeah, it was— Look, it's not really my place to tell, but I saw the way he relied on that necklace of yours for strength while you were gone. Not once did I see him take it off. It was like, if he didn't let go of it, then he wasn't letting go of you. I admire that."

Scully still doesn't understand. "So, the tattoo..."

"Is a reminder to have hope," Melissa finishes. "To have that same belief in others that Fox had for you, even when things looked hopeless and we almost gave up."

Scully's heart twists painfully.

This marking on her sister's body is tangible proof of what Scully has known all along:

That her partner is something special. That his uncommon belief in the unbelievable leaves an impact, not just on her, but on others whom he interacts with.

She still finds it hard to fathom that there had been weeks and months where Mulder was out there, spending time with her mother and sister while she was missing, or lying comatose on a hospital bed.

"When you came back, and when you got better, I knew it was him that saved you," Missy says softly, as if she can hear her thoughts and doesn't want to disrupt them. "I know it's him."

Her sister's piercing eyes meet hers seriously, and she turns away, lifting the box back into her arms to serve as a distraction.

"We don't want to keep the movers waiting," she says, forcing her thoughts away from Mulder. Away from the dangerous thoughts that had filled her head all week.

Missy's eyes brighten, and she grins.

"Don't keep him waiting," she warns.

Scully hands her sister the last of the boxes, and Missy stands up in the back of the truck, brushing the dust off her hands with a satisfied sigh.

"That's the last of it," she says proudly. "Oh, wait—"

She turns quickly, rummaging through a few boxes before triumphantly extracting a small piece of paper.

"Here, give that back to Fox, will you?" she says, handing it to Scully.

"What's this?" she asks, turning the glossy paper in hand to look at it properly.

In her hand, she holds a photo of Mulder from one of the times he'd been locked up on trespassing charges that ultimately wouldn't hold. He'd gotten a kick out of getting his mugshot taken, and so had requested a copy of it upon his release, and the small sheriff's department in Idaho had granted his wish.

But why did Melissa have it?

"I stole it from his apartment," she says, answering her unspoken question. "Made some copies, spread them around."

"You— you did what with them?"

"Just gave them to some friends," she says, smirking as she plops down on the edge of the truck bed. "You know I make friends wherever I go."

"Yeah, but why?"

The conspiratorial smile on her sister's face comes straight out of their childhood.

"Has Fox been getting an unusual amount of attention when walking around D.C. lately?" she asks nonchalantly, concealing a wider grin.

"Missy, you didn't!" Scully says, her jaw dropping.

"You didn't see him, Dane! He needed a pick-me-up!" Melissa raises her hands in defense, smiling at her sister's reaction.

Scully scoffs, but only to prevent a burst of astonished laughter from escaping. "A pick-me-up, not someone to pick him up," she says in as chastising a voice as she can manage.

Only Melissa would do something like this. She should have known.

"So it did work after all," Missy surmises. "Good. He needed a confidence boost. Has his ego inflated terribly?"

This time, Scully does laugh. "Sure, maybe after he got over the paranoia of suddenly being the most popular man in Washington, D.C."

"I guess it would come as a shock," Missy says, eyes bright with mirth.

Scully smacks her sister in the arm. "He was convinced it was some kind of conspiracy!"

"Oh, well," Missy says. "The real conspiracy is how you won't hit on that man yourself."

She's going to miss her sister, she reminds herself. Just be glad she's been in town this long.

Nope. She still wants to throttle her.

She shakes her head.

"Melissa..."

The compliments—because Scully refuses to call them catcalls—continue for the next few months, though with decreasing frequency.

After thinking it over for the weekend, she decides not to tell him. Maybe some day, years from now, when they can laugh about it.

For now, she lets other women say her thoughts aloud, and delights in the way his cheeks turn rosy when she's with him to hear their cheesy pick-up lines.

She wonders how she didn't notice before, the way these women look just like people Melissa would hang around with. Choker necklaces around their necks, Doc Martin shoes... Mulder was onto something with his map. The gym: across the street from a yoga studio that Missy had gone to a few times. The herbal supplement place, one that Missy had definitely stopped by on occasion. The tattoo parlor. Self-explanatory.

Now that she's in on the secret, whenever it happens, it's like Missy is there for a second. It makes her feel less far away. She thinks of these women being handed a photocopied flyer with Mulder's face on it, and wonders what on earth Missy had specifically told them to do.

Whatever it was, it had been effective.

Funny. She never really pictured introducing her sister to her partner, but now she wonders how she didn't see it before. She's glad Missy stepped in to look after him while she was gone, even if it involved a prank of questionable taste. She wouldn't have expected any less from her sister. And maybe that was just what Mulder needed.

She tells him at the funeral.

It's too early to find the humor in it, like she'd hoped they would someday. But his lips do curl into a small smile. Remembering.

It still happens on occasion after that. And when it does, Mulder takes Scully's hand and whispers, "See? She's never really gone."

Melissa Scully had left her mark on Washington, D.C., even in the short time she'd been there. She left her mark on Mulder in the same way.

Years down the line, when the number of Mulder's admirers has dwindled to one, Scully lies awake, picturing his face as he whispered sweet words to her. His constant. His touchstone.

"You were right, Missy," she breathes into the still air of her lonely apartment. Sometimes it feels haunted by her ghost. Tonight, that brings her comfort. "You were right."

She thinks she hears the echo of a sultry whistle.

i like to think will calls grace first. she gives the best advice when it comes to any of this and then he calls gabe and ryan to talk to them.

"what's up, will?" grace asked as soon as she answered the phone.

"i hooked up with someone," will said immediately which caught grace off guard.

"what?"

"there was this halloween party last night..i think i was a little drunk and i hooked up with this girl," the boy explained, chewing on the bottom of his lip.

"okay. did something happen?" the older girl grew concerned.

"only that i did it because i thought i'd be able to get over samy and i didn't. i only thought about her the entire time," the hockey player's head fell into his hands as he sat on the end of his bed.

"oh. i see," the older blonde was at a bit of a loss with what to say.

"i think i fucked up, grace. i think i really, really fucked up," will frowned deeply as all the feelings he's tried pushing away for months began resurfacing.

"will..you didn't..fuck up. did you make a bad choice on rash thoughts? yeah. you didn't completely fuck up though," grace tried reassuring her brother even though she couldn't quite back his decisions.

"i should've talked to her more. i don't..i don't know what i was thinking. i thought i was letting her go for the better, but anytime i see her anywhere i wish i could call her and everything was how it used to be," now will was crying.

"it's not too late to talk. reach out to her. tell her you wanna talk or something."

"i can't. she blocked me on everything so even if i wanted to talk to her, i physically can't," the younger boy frowned deeply.

"do you want me to mention something?" grace offered softly.

"no, that's gonna make me look stupid. she doesn't wanna talk to me and i don't blame her," a long sigh fell from will's lips.

"look, we all do stupid shit when we're 18. she definitely does wanna talk to you. you guys were best friends once upon a time. that kind of bond doesn't disappear that easily. is there any time soon you'll be out near michigan or something?"

"i don't know. days off are random sometimes and unpredictable," will shrugged even though grace couldn't see him.

"maybe talk to gabe and ryan. they could make something happen. i know they're rooting for you two as much as i am to get back together or at least talk," will knew his older sister had a point. he should talk to gabe and ryan, but then they'd just tell him i told you so and harp on him.

"i don't know. i'll see. i should let you go," will mumbled.

"i'm always here to talk, will. it's gonna work out, i promise," the hockey player really wanted to believe his sister's words and he hoped to god it was true.

"wow, look who's calling first," ryan grinned through the screen when the call connected. will rolled his eyes a bit, but smiled when he saw his friends on his computer screen.

"you look like shit," gabe commented upon seeing will's red eyes and puffy cheeks.

"fuck off," the blonde mumbled.

"i'm kidding. it's good to see you. you had a hella game the other night," the dark-haired boy cheered.

"dude, you put those older guys to shame. like you were flying," ryan laughed making will laugh as well.

"thanks, it was pretty cool taking some of the veterans down. they're gonna be after me now."

"yeah, no shit. i think everyone now knows why you decided to sign on so early," gabe grinned.

their compliments had will flushing with pride. he's been working hard to prove himself these last few games and he was glad it was all finally paying off.

"by the way, halloween was so legendary this year. we went to like four different parties," ryan chuckled.

"i bet it's crazy in california," gabe wondered as the topic shifted.

"yeah, it is pretty crazy out here. so crazy i even hooked up with someone.." will began which had gabe and ryan's eyebrows raising.

"wait, you hooked up with someone? who?"

"uh..i don't really know her name, but i think..i think i regret it. i thought it would like..help me realize breaking up with samy was the right choice, but it didn't. i just thought about her the entire time.." will felt almost ashamed admitting this to his friends.

"oh."

"you're gonna tell me i told you so, but i know i fucked up now. i..i shouldn't have broken up with samy. i thought it would be better for both of us, but i just really miss her and i wish i could talk to her or something," the blonde frowned.

"you're saying this now? six months after the fact?" gabe raised his eyebrows.

"oh come on, give me a break. i was stupid, i know. i finally realize that now. i don't know what to do," upon seeing their friend's face, gabe and ryan saw how torn up will was about everything. they knew he really regretted everything that happened.

"i just don't get why you didn't talk to her more about this before you even decided to break up? you know she would've talked with you about whatever you were worried about," ryan said.

"it was a bad decision during very rash thoughts. i was overwhelmed and a mess back in may. i got scared and pushed her away like i do to everything. you guys don't need to tell me how much i fucked up. i know already," will huffed.

the three fell silent for a moment. will pulled a hand through his hair while gabe and ryan spoke with their eyes.

"a few of us are going to michigan over winter break to samy's lake house. if you can find some free time, you should come out. i think samy would like to see you. you two can finally talk maybe," gabe finally said.

"i'll think about it," will nodded. could he actually fly out to michigan and see samy after not speaking to her or seeing her for eight months though? the idea sent will's head spinning and not in a good way.

It's been two weeks since you sent the message that didn't deliver and you decided to give up on telling him. If it didn't go through, it must have been a sign, you kept thinking to yourself to feel better about the situation. Even though, deep down, you hated it was undelivered.

Part of you wanted to bring it up when you met up with him on Friday that same week, to play miniature golf where you laughed, joked and told each other about your day. It sat there on your mind, ready to be said but you and him talked about everything. You enjoy talking to him; the conversations you both have are so easy.

You can talk to him from something serious to completely random and time will by past so quickly you can't believe it's already over. Which is something you miss a lot with him. I don't have to think what I'm going to say next, it just comes out so easy. You thought as you were texting him at work.

You didn't want the messages to become everyday but it just happened, something your friends have been clowning on you since you've told them about meeting up with Chan again.

Especially today at work, when your friends in the group chat were placing bets on when you're going to end up with him.

You sat back in you chair, tilting you head up to stare at the celling, contemplating life and your friends. Maybe I shouldn't have said anything or maybe I should make new friends. It's a good thing I didn't tell them about how we almost kissed. I can imagine the messages now.

You felt your smart watch buzz on your wrist, indicting a new notifcation. When you flipped your wrist over, thinking it was a new text from the friend group, you saw that it was Chan.

A smile crept onto your face as you could feel yourself become giddy seeing his name. Fuck, calm down. he's just my friend now.

You hated that you felt butterflies in your stomach, couldn't wait to see what he had planned. I remember he use to surprise me all the time when we were together...kind of missed this. You shook your head out of the fog you were in about your ex and went back to work.

The rest of the week flew by and the closer it got to Sunday, the more nervous you became. And, the more your friends joked with you about it, making you laugh at their responses.

The second you woke up on Sunday, it felt as if you had to wait an eternity for Chan since he mentioned the surprise was at night.

The whole day you couldn't sit still, cleaning around your apartment like a mad woman, trying to distract yourself from waiting.

About two hours before Chan showed up, you showered and began to get ready for what Isabella kept calling a "date." You did your make up, curled you hair but you did keep your outfit casual like Chan said to.

You decided on denim pants, a marron long sleeve shirt that was laced at the bottom. I'll bring my jacket just in case...

As you were finishing up your make-up, you heard a knock on your front door, making you start to panic. Shit, I'm not ready!!

You ran up to the door and opened it to see Chan in your doorway, looking handsome. Your heart was beating so hard in your chest as you saw his outfift for the night; Denim pants, with a denim jacket and a white shirt underneath.

"Oh, you look great, even for being casual," you said as you let him in but closed your eyes cringing at what you said. This is going great, you sarcastically thought.

"Me, look at you? You're so gorgeous," he smiled as he turned around, while you tried to act normal but you could feel your cheeks blush from from his compliment.

"I thought you weren't going to flirt anymore..." you smirked as you let out a soft giggle.

"Flirting? I don't know what that is..." he stuck his tongue out a bit, making you want to explode in your spot.

"Anyways!" You said trying to pivot away from him flirting some more with you. "I'm almost ready. I got get my purse and we can head out," you quickly ran away to your room, leaving him in your living room checking it out.

It's been a while since he's been in your home and forgot how it smells like sweet pumpkin and cinnamon.

He was gazing over the pictures you hung up on the wall, not remembering one of them being there last time. It was with you and your friends, smiling, having a great time at the beach.

He couldn't help to smile, seeing you so happy but quickly turned away when he heard you walking back out. "Ready?" you asked.

Turning around, his heart was racing seeing you look so beautiful. But he tried to act calm, "Yup, are you? I see you take a hundred years to get ready still," He joked.

"Yeah, yeah," you waved it off as you both shared a laughed when you blew out your candle before leaving out the door with Chan.

You got into his car and drove off to a mystious place as you talked, sang and laughed along the way.

At one point when you were in the passanger seat, you turned to look at him, seeing the city and car lights cast on to his face. Wow, he's so stunning.

He could see you look at him from the corner of his eye, wanting to smile but held it back. He wanted to reach out for your hand like he use to but knew he shouldn't.

"Where are you taking me?" you cleared your throat, turning back to stare outside the windshield. You were curious where this man was taking you since you notice how far both of you were from the city.

"Just wait, I promise," his Australian accent filled your ears as you sat back wondering what this man has up his sleeve.

The drive lasted five more minutes until he pulled up to an empty area, parking behind a guardrail.

"Oh, is this where you come to kill me?" You jokingly asked turing to him. Although, a small part of you was worried why he brought you so far out.

"No, oh my gosh, you're still so silly," He smiled making one appear on you. "You'll see, c'mon."

You opened the door after he turned off the car, standing out and seeing the city lights on display in the far distance like a picture perfect moment.

But the lights were quickly towards your back as you turn around, titling your head up to see the beautiful stars that blanket about you. Seeing each one twinkle as you let out, "wow."

You love looking at stars, something you and Chan would do all the time but you'll never get over seeing them every single time.

"They look amazing, right?" Chan said, making you move your gaze over to him, seeing him set up a telescope. Where did he get that? And when did he put the blankt down??

"What's with the telescope?" Your curiosity asked.

"You'll see but in the mean time..." he went back to the trunk, closed it as he set down a picnic basket on the blanket. "We can eat, I brought your favorites."

You couldn't help but smile as you made your way over to the blanket, sitting down as Chan began to take out your favorite dish.

"Christopher, I can't believe you did all of this."

"I just thought it would be a fun time, something kind of different." He smiled, showing off his dimples as your heart melted.

You both ate and talked while he kept looking up at the sky, making you wonder what this surprise was. Are aliens going to come pick us up or something?

As you and him were arguing over who's soccer team is better, he moved his eyes up to see the surprise. "It's happening!" He stood up, turning around to help you up.

"What?" You wondered as you placed your hand into his strong grip, helping you up from the ground.

He turned you around towards the dark side, away from the city lights and pointed up. Following his movement to see something in the sky, you squinted trying and see what is was; seeing a few more specks flying.

"Are those meteors?" You questioned feeling a bit of excitement peak up.

"Yup, come look!" You and Chan walked over to the telescope he set up. He adjusted it so you could see them flying in the sky.

"Wow, it looks so cool. Here," he said moving out of the way so you could look.

"Holy shit, this is awesome. Look at that, wow!" you couldn't believe you're finally seeing a meteor shower; something you've had on your bucket list.

You and him both kept taking turns looking at the meteors until they disappeared.

"That was so cool, how did you remember?" You asked as you sat back down on the blanket.

"I remember everything you told me," He shyly admitted, making your face go warm.

You turned your attention back to the sky, hiding your face from Chan's confession. You didn't know what to say, leaving only the noise coming from the world as you both stared up at the stars.

"There's the big dipper," He pointed out breaking up the silence that sat between you two for few moments.

"And there's the little dipper," you noted.

As you were both calling out different constellations, you and him saw a star shoot across the sky.

"Did you see that??" You snap your head to him, wondering if that was a shooting star or another meteor.

"Hurry make a wish!" He said closing his eyes.

You quickly shut your eyes and made a wish. I wish Chan to be happy, healthy and to live a wonderful life...even if it's not with me.

"Did you make it?" He asked, making you open your eyes to see him smiling.

"Yup, hope it comes true." You smiled back, knowing he deserves the whole world.

"Y/n, can I be honest with you?" he said turning his whole body towards you, sitting criss-cross.

Your felt your body tense, afraid to even look at him, your eyes searching everywhere but his. Oh fuck, you thought as you turned to face him. "What's up?"

He played with his denim pants, pinching them, afraid to confess. Seeing how nervous he was, you placed your hand gently on his left leg, making him shoot his head up to lock eyes with you.

"Sorry!" You panicked, quickly retracting your hand back. "I just wanted to let you know...um...you can tell me anything."

"Your fine," he said with a smile but in the inside he didn't want your hand to leave. He missed your touch. "And well...may I hold your hands when I tell your this?"

"Um sure..." He held out his hands as you placed them into his, making goosebumps rise on your arms.

"Okay," he sighed before continuing, "I know we just became friends but I really want to be with you. When we hug, I don't want to pull away, I want to keep you in my arms forever. I know that you probably don't want to get back together but I had to be honest."

Holy shit, wasn't really expecting that. Aaaaahhh!! The yelling in your head was becoming louder but you know you had to say something to him. He patiently waited for your answer, growing afraid what words might come out. But he was trying to mentally prepare for whatever outcome may happen.

Just tell him, tell him the truth. He's being honest with you. "Well, since we're being honest...can I tell you something?"

"Fuck, you don't really like me?"

You couldn't help but giggle, "no," you shook your head smiling, making hair fall into your face.

You picked your head back up, about to move the hair away when Chan let go of your hands and pushed the strands of hair out of your sight.

"Gorgeous," your words were stuck in your throat as you and him locked eyes. Say it, tell him! "Y/n?"

You blinked your eyes to bring yourself back to reality, "Sorry, um...well...I uh...may or may not have sent you a message the night we first hung out," you gripped your hands tightly together as you were flinching from your words.

"Oh, what did it say?" he tilted his head to the left side, wondering what it could have said.

You reached in your back pocket and brought out your phone, handing it to him once you found the message.

You bit your bottom lip, nervously waiting to see what he was going to say. And secretly praying your friends don't text something stupid.

"Oh," He voiced as he handed you the phone back. You locked it and set it on the blanket, trying to figure out if that was a good oh or bad.

"Oh?"

"Sorry, I guess it didn't occur to me that you felt that way. I assumed this was truly going to be a friendship."

"Something over came me that night. Just hanging out with for that short period remind me why I was with you for so long. I was stuipd to end it."

"You're not stuipd, you had your reason and I respected it."

You couldn't look at him because of how embarrassed you felt but as soon as you held your head down, you felt his thumb sit softly on your chin while his index finger sat under, slowing moving your head up to look at him.

Your mouth fell a bit agape, wondering what to say next. You were taken back by his smoothness. "If you wanting to...I say we give this another shot," he removed his hands and placed them on top of yours. "Because I think you're my soul mate. The person I'm met to spend the rest of my life with."

Your mind was screaming and knew if you get back together with him, it will be for good. Do I want to do this? You thought as you could feel your body lightly shake with how nervous you were.

"Okay, let's do this if you want to," you couldn't help but smile as he brought you in for a tight hug, pulling you out of your seat. He was so excited he didn't mean to pull you so hard that both of you lost balance and you landed on top of him.

"Good job," you both laughed before opening your eyes and seeing him stare up at you with hearts in his eyes.

"God, I missed you," he moved is left hand up, tucking a strand of hair out of your face and left his hand tucked in your hair behind your head.

"I missed you too," you saw his eyes glance down real quick to your lips as you did the same.

"May I kiss you?" he asked.

"Say please," you giggled as you know he use to love saying that to you.

With his hand still tucked in your hair, he brought your head forward and smashed his lips on yours. You could feel the butterflies flying around as you your lips were stuck on his.

You felt him smile against your lips, making you pull back to look at him. "Everything okay?"

"Perfect, actually. I'm happy to be with you again my beautiful girlfriend."

You buried your head into his chest, becoming shy. You could feel how toned it was, wondering if he was back in the gym again.

The two of you laid there, looking at the sky for a little bit longer until it was becoming a chilly, making you guys get in the car and drive home.

He walked you up to your apartment door and wrapped his arms around you, brining you in for another kiss, leaving you blushed.

"Goodnight beautiful, I'll text you when I get home."

"Okay," he kissed you one last time before pulling away and leaving you as you walked through the door frame, feeling his lips linger on yours.

You shut the door and freaked out, covering you face with both your hands as you threw yourself on your couch. "I can't believe we're together!" you screamed into your hands, giddy from tonight.

You felt as if there was nothing that could knock you off the cloud nine you were feeling until you felt your phone buzzing in your back pocket. There's no way that's Chan already home.

You looked down and noticed who it was, Oh no...

You couldn't help but giggle as you saw the message coming in from your friends. Your cheeks were starting to hurt from smiling so hard because of how happy you felt.

You were about to put your phone on the charger in your room when you saw Chan message that he made it home. You decided to change his name while you were in the text.

You came back from the bathroom, brushing your teeth and taking your makeup off to see the message didn't send. This is not happening again.

You resent the message and it actually went thought as you climbed into bed.

You couldn't help but kick your feet, feeling as if you were back in high school again. You both said goodnight as you set your phone our phone on your nigh stand, turned off the lights and fell asleep with a huge smile on your face.

LZZY HALE On JON BON JOVI's Praise: 'How Sweet Of Him To Say All These Things'

Lzzy Hale says it was "sweet" of Jon Bon Jovi to say that she should join SKID ROW as the band's new singer.

The 40-year-old Hale, who has fronted her band HALESTORM for more than two and a half decades, handled the vocal duties for SKID ROW for four shows only after the group's fourth frontman since Sebastian Bach's departure — "Swedish Idol" contestant Erik Grönwall — quit the band to focus on his health. She later took to social media to thank SKID ROW for the opportunity and express her hope to rejoin them at some point, but ruled out a full-time position in SKID ROW for the time being.

In a June 2024 interview with Rock Sound where he answered interview questions from some of the magazine's cover stars, including Hale, Jon praised Lzzy, saying: "She should please join SKID ROW. Please, Lzzy Hale, join SKID ROW. Put the two bands [HALESTORM and SKID ROW] together, if you need to. But this is the best thing that happened to Snake [SKID ROW guitarist Dave Sabo] since he met me. [Laughs]"

Recounting how Jon ended up mentioning her name, Lzzy told Heavy Consequence in a new interview (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): "I got asked to send in a question, a random question, to Jon Bon Jovi, 'cause they were trying to gather questions from musicians to ask him for this interview. And so then the interview comes out, and so I'm getting all these like Google alerts for this interview. I'm, like, 'Oh, cool. I'll listen to what he said to answer my question,' 'cause it's not just me asking questions. And then they mentioned me to him and he's, like, 'Oh, please join SKID ROW. You are the best thing to happen to Snake since he met me.' And all of this stuff about what I can do. And my internal teenager's, like, 'Jon Bon Jovi knows who I am. Oh my God.' And then I'm, like, 'Oh my God. How sweet of him to say all these things.' And then from that, then I'm hearing from my dad, who's, like, 'I remember you blasting…' We [HALESTORM] used to cover [BON JOVI's] 'Living On A Prayer' back in PA [Pennsylvania] bars and stuff, and, and he's, like, you used to listen to [SKID ROW's] 'Slave To The Grind'. What are you thinking right now?' I'm, like, 'I don't know what to think. This is crazy.'"

She continued: "It's like this full-circle… In 1996, if you had told me that this was going to be this beautiful bookend to this story of my journey in rock, I would have said, 'You're a liar. That will never happen to me.' And so the fact that it has, it's so much more than just, like, 'Oh, look, I got mentioned by some rock stars.' It became this beautiful thing that now I can carry forever. That's great. I get to put that on my tombstone. [Laughs]"

A short time after Jon's interview with Rock Sound was first posted online, Lzzy shared the clip on her social media and she wrote in an accompanying message: "What a compliment, what an honor, and what a tremendous piece of advice! Thank you for your kind words and candor @jonbonjovi watch the full interview at @rocksound".

Back in December 2022, Sabo looked back on his childhood friendship with Jon Bon Jovi and how it inspired him and his bandmates to become better songwriters. He told Colombia's W Radio: "First of all, [Jon and I] have been best friends since we were children. He grew up three streets away from where I grew up, so we've known each other for an awfully long time — well over 40 years now. His work ethic and his commitment to music and his perseverance showed me and showed us that it was possible to be able to have success in the music business. He was very, very helpful at the very beginning with our band and he's always been a great mentor to me. And he's always been one hundred percent honest with me regarding all aspects of our relationship. We would always play him our music that we were writing and he would always give us his honest opinion. And he was the one who, at the very beginning, was really pushing us to be better songwriters, to be better musicians, to be a better band. And he was the guy that really instilled in us that being just good isn't good enough. You've gotta aspire to be great. And that was him teaching us that."

Despite the fact that the 1989 debut album from the Sebastian Bach-fronted SKID ROW went five times platinum and produced several hit singles — including "18 And Life", "I Remember You" and "Youth Gone Wild" — there was initially a lot of bitterness surrounding its success, largely due to the fact that in return for the helping hands of Jon Bon Jovi, SKID ROW reportedly had to enter a publishing deal with Jon's then-newly established Underground Music Company in which they waived their rights to publishing royalties. All money was paid to Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora. After a public dispute, Sambora gave his share of the money back to SKID ROW.

Around a decade ago, Bach reflected on the business arrangement he and his then-bandmates made with Bon Jovi, telling ArtScenics TV: "Bon Jovi took us on our first tour and we signed some papers with him that he got a cut of, if we made it big, that he would get compensated for helping us out. Nobody expected us to get as big as we got. Nobody thought that we would become a big band. That happens all the time in the music industry. Jon was, like, 'We'll take you on tour, but if you guys make it big,' then he gets a cut of it. So I was bitter about that for awhile, but then I realized that we probably wouldn't have made it as big, or maybe at all, if he didn't take us."

Back in 2015, Bach told Rodney Holder of Australia's Music Business Facts that he no longer harbored any resentment toward Bon Jovi over the publishing royalties generated by the "Skid Row" album.

"We signed a publishing deal with Bon Jovi's company, which gave him an extremely large cut of the first album," he recalled. "And when that happened, none of us realized it, really, and we were very bitter when we found that out. But our next record debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard chart, so quit your fucking whining. [Laughs] It's, like, I look back… He took us on tour… Nobody thought we'd make it. There was a million bands. We could have been BANG TANGO or TIGERTAILZ or… We could have been… There's a billion bands. We could have been BABYLON A.D. … Anyway, so, the fact that we were one of the bands that did make it was like a needle in the haystack. So for Bon Jovi to put us on the road in front of his crowd every night, that's how we made it. So he deserved to get paid for that. He could have taken any other band. So we re-did all those deals after the first album — for 'Slave To The Grind' and 'Subhuman Race' and the best-of album. We re-did all those."

I've looked up what both of the Physician's names means, the L name being "Light" and the C name "from the Heavens" or simply "Heavenly", so your choices compliment each other very well. It definitely came naturally to me, yes - very organically. I only had some hour to come up with the short story when I got the 'write a vampire story'-prompt, so it just popped up in my head. I didn't expect to actually make a big thing of it back then, though, but I'm very happy that I did. I'm having a lot of fun with it!

Your question hasn't been answered in the game, no - and even if it had... well, the game is 400 000 words long, I would never expect anyone to remember everything, so even if it had been answered, I wouldn't have minded answering it again - so no need to apologise, if you're curious about something, don't hesitate to ask, it's all good!

As far as I'm aware, it's quite random, what becomes of one's cravings, what one's body needs. I think there are things that nudges a person in a certain direction; namely, what happened as one got fed upon might increase the chance for a certain craving. If the main character is a cannibal, the Physician mentions their flesh as she talks about their disease with them, but if they are a vampire, she mentions their blood instead. This isn't fool-proof, though, since Roswhen, who's cause for almost-death was decidedly bloody, became a cannibal, and I would say that Elan's disorder affected his flesh more than his blood, even though he had been bleeding a rather vast amount.

As a little bonus, I once noticed that when it comes to the current love interests, more phlegmatic and melancholic people are vampires, and more sanguine and choleric people are cannibals. Nothing I thought about as I wrote them, there were other reasons for me to pick their cravings, but it was a fun little find, even though it means nothing in the long run since every main character is different.

Yep my brain has done it again here are what I speculate the powers are

Saki - so idk how to explain it but it's like redirecting electricity. If something has electricity she can redirect with surprising precision. It's like the opposite of tsukasa who can summon electricity but isn't very good at controlling it

Mizuki - so she can control how people perceive/view her. It's kinda like Kano from kagerou but op. I thought of this bc love can change how you perceive someone and blah blah blah idk I think that's how my thought process went. I remember a while ago I had this au where Mizuki had the power to sew things together by touching them but that has nothing to do with love so

Ena - I feel like she has the power to heal but in order to do that she has to inflict a wound equal to the one you have. Like if you got stabbed she's going to also have to stab you in order to heal you. That's why she rarely uses it unless someone is in a life or death situation

I feel like she would also be absolute trash at archery. Like the one time she actually tried she gave up and chucked the arrow and the target. This is really random.

Akito - he can remove any downsides to abilities or boost it or smth. The only downside is that for some reason he's really cranky for the rest of the day so he avoids using it. I have 0 idea why I gave both Shinonome's abilities that they avoid using that was entirely on accident

Kohane - I'm still figuring out her's but maybe it's kinda like piper? Able to sweet talk her way through situations? I'm still figuring it out

(I should probably let you know that I haven't gotten a lot of ideas for camp Jupiter maybe I'll update this list later)

Tsukasa - I mentioned it at Saki's part but he can summon lighting but is absolutely trash at actually aiming at people. If they teamed up they would be way to op

Kanade - like hazel she can summon diamonds and other gems and with enough energy she can form them into different things (the only issue is that Kanade usually looks like she's about to pass out at any moment)

Shiho - I feel like she has the power to amplify her and inanimate objects volume (who needs speakers when you have Shiho!). Like during a battle you need your troop to hear you somehow. Thank God tsukasa doesn't have this

Mafuyu - able to cancel out abilities (INCLUDING the veil or mist or whatever they call it) by staring at them for more than 3 seconds. I think she's the only person who is semi aware of another camp bc of that (outside of Rui but more on that later). Honestly it's kinda like dazai from bsd but oh well

Toya - why is Apollo the god of so many things it's so hard to choose an aspect of him to focus on lol. I gave him the ability to see a few seconds into the future for about 10 minutes. The only issue is that after using the power he's going to be out of commission for a while

Shizuku - I don't have many ideas but I thought maybe the ability to teleport certain distances? Bc mercury is the god of travel of smth. Maybe she can fight like those Genshin characters where they teleport every 5 seconds behind their opponent

Ichika - I think she's actually Greek (specifically dionysus bc I need to spread my ichirui sibling propaganda) and is how both camps find out about each other

I feel like both Ena and Toya have perfect pitch to some extent and are naturally able to write lyrics. Ena helps Mafuyu with her lyrics sometimes

Now to rant about random ideas that have no specific theme (they sound more like headcannons lol)

For WXS the signs are so obvious but they're too dense to even notice. Like Nene would notice that during the summer when she, emu, and Rui are all at camp half-blood tsukasa is also out of town but then thinks "ig since we're all gone he's spending more time with outside auditions" and Tsukasa see's Rui holding a giant bronze sword and thinks "Wow Rui has improved so much over the years with his inventions! I'm so proud of him." They all go to Rui and compliment him on his "practical effects" for Tsukasa (electricity flying out of his hands) and Tsukasa compliments Rui sword skills and gives him pointers and he is somehow the only one who thinks "huh this is kinda weird" but he doesn't say anything bc he's scared that he might be wrong and have tsukasa think he's a weirdo or smth.

Akito also at some point also suspected something but when approaching Toya and asking he lies and says that his dad takes him to a lot of concerts to try to indoctrinate him into classical music again and Akito believes him bc 1. He's dumb and 2. He believes everything Toya says.

Capturing the flag with the Shinonome's would be wild. Usually when they're on separate teams their teammates will try to keep each other separate as much as possible or they'll drop everything they're doing and start arguing. Sometimes their teammates use this as a bait to distract everyone to run over to get the flag. And when they're on the same team they keep trying to out do each other which leads to some of the most ridiculous plans or fighting ever seen (I'm talking about using a machine gun for close combat and taking fallen arrows to use as daggers which usually work??? Somehow???) It's absolutely ridiculous.

There's also a smuggling system ran by Rui and Mizuki which the Shinonome's use a lot (they can't survive for more than a week without cheesecake). The Shinonomes are ridiculously in debt thanks to this. They also smuggle things other then food which is how Nene owns a whole gaming setup and PS4 (hidden in a panel made by yours truly, Rui)

Camp Jupiter also has a smuggling system ran by Tsukasa, Toya, Kanade, and occasionally Mafuyu. This system mostly uses the fauns to their advantage. They have to avoid An though bc for some reason she's trying to (and failing) to take the role of hall monitor in the camp.

Tsukasa and Saki sound incredibly silly, thank you I love that. The idea of them covering up each other's weaknesses has been in my head for some time already, I just need to figure out the specifics. When I was reading through that I subconsciously compared them to Aether and Lumine, because they have NA animations that mirror each other, which is amazing.

Mizuki was already in the plans and to be fair, your idea isn't that far off from what I had. I didn't post anything because I'm trying to figure out any other niigo member to pair them up with for the post.

Ena's simply reminds me of Yosano from BSD. I was wondering why the healing, but then I remembered "Oh right, Apollo's the god of healing too". The power would really fit her. And the archery thing is very Ena, she would do that. She still tries because she wants to make Apollo proud though (doesn't know Apollo doesn't give much shit as to what his kids use as a weapon).

In what way would using his powers make Akito cranky? Is it just a personality switch thing? If so, I don't find it much of an issue and why he would avoid it. It would be kinda OP for rap battles if he could do that to singing.

I'm a bit sceptical for Shiho's power - yeah, it's definitely useful and of course could be used for the battlefield, but it doesn't feel like a Mars kid power to have? It does feel like a Zeus/Jupiter (wavelengths in the air getting affected) or Apollo (Apollo moment) kid power to have, in which Tsukasa could have that anyway (Camp Jupiter's worst fear).

Mafuyu being more perceptive with the veil thing (thanks for telling me how that ability is called btw, I have read the books in my native language and it's translated to "fog" there), is a good idea, it would definitely help her out with a lot. I can imagine her as a kid having some misunderstandings over it, but she had to play around it. Imagine at one point some monster replacing her mom to attack her and she's like "wow that is already way better than usual", but still has to run away from home.

As for Toyer - a different Apollo kid is already getting tormented with prophetic visions, because I got too silly </3

TECHNICALLY for anyone that wants to remix this AU it would be fine as an additional power him or Ena have.

It's honestly pretty wild how many different attributes Apollo has, but we're still having troubles coming up with powers.

When you mentioned the teleportation thing with Genshin characters I immediately thought of Ayato's E skill. Surprisingly, I think it fits perfectly, because it's already pretty graceful by default and her having slashed a training dummy to bits in a bunch of consecutive sweeps with a sword (probably a gladius since it's shorter) just for her to go "oh my, I did that?" afterwards is a funny vision to have.

Finally - Ichika is up to anyone's interpretation when remixing this AU. I did very much audibly "aww" at the ichirui sibling thing. Could be fun, could be cute.

As for the misc. thoughts:

1. WxS is definitely too dense to not realize until it's put RIGHT in front of their noses. Rui could have the "yeah, I had a slight idea", but still be surprised. I can imagine they tried a fighting scene in one of their plays and all of them were like "wow, Tsukasa/the other's feel like they were born to battle with weapons like that".

2. I already had an idea for the "Toya tries to tell Akito about his demigod self", but that ALSO includes my OC, so yeah, if you act like he doesn't exists (which he doesn't and I'm only delusional), your idea is completely valid for your own remix

4. I think if Akito and Ena get put on the same team however, they also keep arguing, but they argue in a way they don't see anyone or anything else. They will be as loud as possible, but they won't even notice someone's attacking them, they will just slash through without looking and move on after defeating an ambush. They won't even know what hit them (literally).

Same thing will happen if you put Akito with another OC of mine. They both hate it.

5. Didn't Camp Halfblood have something going like they could request any meal they wanted or was it Camp Jupiter??

I'm trying to remember, because I feel like if Camp HB had it, Akito and Ena wouldn't have to smuggle cheesecake. Getting Nene her gaming consoles must be a massive feat to achieve though, since monsters get drawn to electric devices when used by demigods.

As for Camp Jupiter - Mafuyu doesn't seem like the type of person that would think of smuggling stuff for others, because why would she do so? Personally none of the Camp Jupiter people really feel like the type of people to want to smuggle something in, most of them have morals. Using fauns is a good idea though. Maybe very occassionally they ask them for some things.

Hayato would be the guy to smuggle stuff in, but he is one of my prsk OCs, so for any remixes I can imagine people skipping him

And yeah, An is trying to police everything, but actually ends up in a lot of trouble anytime she trains with Haruka... Their rivalry gets out of hand 9/10 times. An is trying to make up for it by being a snitch lmao

Haruka is already spared because it's Haruka - she'll smile and suddenly "Yeah true, she couldn't have done that on purpose"

And like I said before - this AU is free to get remixed.

I like keeping it open, because it will spark some creativity in others. People are free to add their own additional powers, people are free to write stories or make art, there's a lot of room to work on it!

I feel like I'm only laying down some sort of base, a foundation on what others could do with it. You are free to brainstorm ideas and pitch in to help me. Working on an idea like this, especially YEARS after having last read PJO, is pretty dang difficult and it's easy to hit an artist/writer block.

I really enjoy getting asks like that, because it's amazing to engage in a community like that

PS How do you feel about including the sekai aspect of project sekai into this..? I've been wondering whether or not to include it. Would their powers work in Sekai? How would the Virtual Singers react? I suppose whether Sekai exists or not in this AU is also up to all sorts of interpretations while remixing.

he would be quiet and professional

also a little intimidating

like on your first mission he did almost all the work

at first you thought this was how missions worked

but then you talked to your colleagues about your missions with him and they told you it was meant to be 2 partners, not leader and assistant

so you confronted techno about this

which left him a little surprised

cause he was the one supposed to confront people, not the other way around

this made him intrigued about you

so techno spent more time with you to learn more about you

which caused the both of you to get closer

when people saw this, they were really confused

cause he was so soft, caring, and nice around but around them he was cold and intimidating

but then techno started to act very flustered and nervous around you

Hello anon 💜 thank you for being patient with me. I also saw this ask that was sent to @kanmom51 a few days ago. People really grasp at anything and everything to decide KM aren't close anymore or have supposedly broken up. Now I didn't want to just say anything about this, I wanted to make sure that we could bring numbers into this before we discussed it. So I went and found all the music video reactions they have done over the years. Now please do not crucify me if I have missed one or two. There is a lot of years of content to go through here yall, and I'm only human. I think I got them all though, correct me if I'm wrong. Not all my links will be able to be embedded because tumblr only allows that 10 times, so some will have to be links you click on and follow if you want to see the original reaction. Sorry. Some are directly from Bangtan TV. Some are from Bangtan subs because BH didn't put subtitles in theirs. And some are pulled from various other subbed sources because the reaction is from other random music shows or live streams or comeback shows.... which if I missed a reaction somewhere, it's from one of those that I momentarily have forgotten about. Their first reaction video they filmed over one of their own videos was actually to a dance practice, this was in 2014, the SBS Gayo Daejeon Performance. Jungkook didn't say anything at all during this reaction, just nodded along to what the others said. The only thing said about Jimins part was by RM in this one about how it was regretful that JM missed his landing during their trick but he nailed it when they recorded it again at a later date.

The next reaction video they did was a commentary over the Danger MV on Mnet which was posted 140903. This is a much longer video, almost 20 minutes long because every single one of them stopped the video anytime their own faces showed up on the screen. 😂 I'll only talk about moments where KM talked about each other, but if you haven't seen the whole video, you should. It's cute. KM mentioned each other briefly 3 times through the whole clip. JM compliments JK on his good acting at playing the piano even though he doesn't actually play after JK stopped the video to talk about how he couldn't really play the piano. A few minutes later JM, along with everyone else, compliments JK on his acting again. During Jimins highnote while everyone dances around him, JK says "oh. Jimin-hyung."

The next video they react to is at the end of 2014 on a radio show. 141023 and it's to their War Of Hormone MV. Jikook didn't saying anything about each other in this one.

Next is 150505 for a reaction to I Need U featuring a reaction to JinKiMin predebut photos/videos too. Lol JK and JM do not really comment on each other here other than during JKs crying scene where JM says he is not good at crying on demand. I don't really know how much this one counts. Lol They had a second reaction to the I Need U MV as well on 150507. JM said lots in this video, but nothing specific to JK or his scenes. JK said practically nothing for the entire 8 minutes. He said "it looks like a drama" in reference to the MV towards the end and participated in the group "fighting" to say goodbye. But otherwise he spent the whole video chewing on his lips and enjoying watching everyone else laugh and talk.

The next video reaction that they did is their Dope MV reaction, which was filmed only with Jimin and J-hope doing the reaction on 150623. So obviously JK is not making any comments in this one either since he isn't even in it. Lol JM though, his comment over JK was "What I felt most while watching this is that Jungkookie is really handsome. I think the red head (referring to himself) matches his hair color. I also felt that many times too." He called JK really handsome 3 times in this 5 minute reaction. Lol (as a side note, they filmed this RUN episode the same day and this must have been what all the other members were getting ready for and why they weren't reacting too):

The next video reaction I found was from Dec 2015 for the RUN music video reaction. During the YoonKook fight scene, JM commented that JK looks different in this MV. During the scene where the rest of the hyungs all run up to JK and Yoonmin hug him tightly, both JK and JM smile very fondly, but neither says anything.

The only music video reaction I could find that they did from 2016 was to the Blood Sweat and Tears MV. At the beginning of the MV, JK says "Woah, Jimin hyung is sexy!" Rest of hyungs compliment JK, to which JK says "oh, Jimin hyung though" with a smile and head tilt. Jimin and the rest of BTS give an woahhhh of appreciation at JKs sexy smirk to the camera. JK screams along with the rest of the hyungs at Jimins shoulder move. JK says "Jiminie. Jiminie" (no honorifics Jk, okay) during JMs blind fold scene. Everyone called TaeJin the 2 most handsome members during their scene too. Honestly this was basically just 6+ minutes of Bangtan calling each other sexy and OT6 being Jimin's biggest fan boys.

The next MV of theirs that they reacted to was DNA MV reaction on 170918. JM at the starts says that JK has lost too much weight and should really gain some. Basically scolding him for being too skinny. JM smacks JKs arm and shouts with everyone during JKs DNA point to the arm part. JK really doesn't make any comment during this video and doesn't say anything about Jimin here, but he does give a small smile during Jimins hand camera shake part, but that's about it.

The next video is again during 2017 and is the Mic Drop MV reaction on 171126. During the flying scene, JK says "oh. You will see us fly soon. Jimin hyung! With Jimin hyung!" And they both laughed when they did. Which is cute knowing how hard they giggled together filming that bit. JM comments that JK was going hard and chants "Jeon Jungkook" during his little solo part in the first pre-chorus and then starts changing "Kim Taehyung" when it transitioned to V's part. They went to go rewatch the explosion scene and with the buildup on Jimin's part, JK says "oh, jimin hyung. His hip movements." JKs part during the bridge, JM says "as expected, Jungkook is..." but never finished his sentence. During Jimins part at the end, JK sings his like cola line too and JM asks "How was I there?" Jk and Jin reply that he looked good. Maknae Line + Hobi stay at watch it all the way through AGAIN. JM takes a photo of the still frame of JK flying backwards because he looked funny. Lol JK once again Comments on Jimins hip movements. JM once again comments on JK dancing extra hard. During the bridge, JM smacks JK on the chest and says "You're quite handsome." Jimin then stays alone to watch it for a 4th time, but the reaction cuts there.

The next one was done for the Idol MV reaction on 180904. JK commented on Jimin once, during the shot where he looks into the camera and raises his eyebrows. JK says "oh, Jimin." Jimin smacks him and asks "What are you talking about?" Just for JK to repeat "Jimin." No honorifics. JM didn't mention anything about JK during his parts this video. And then Jikook do ending mentions and say goodbye together.

The next video they do is in 2020 I believe. 200119 for the Black Swan Art Film reaction. It's a really sweet reaction. But not to much to say since it isn't really their own video, KM don't "react" to each other since they aren't in it. The only comment that gets made about Jimin is the boys says he should do a video like this too, Jimin and the 6 Black swans.

The next music video they reacted to was 2 months later, released 200306 of their ON Music Video Reaction. JM shouts "woahhh JK!!" with everyone else. JK goes "Jimin!" when he appears on screen (no honorifics again). JM asks JK if he was cold going in the water. JM at the end tells JK he did a good job and they fist bump. JK and Jhope rewatched the video together again, with no further comments on Jimin's parts.

The next video filmed was their Black Swan MV reaction video on 200317. This one is iconic for JKs reactions to Jimin, which literally start 3 seconds into the video since Jimin opens the MV up. Again, no honorifics through practically the whole video. JM made no comments over JK this video.

The next video takes us to August 2020 for a Dynamite Music Video Reaction. JM says that JK looks great as the opening. They watch it a second time this time with pauses to talk about it. JM pauses and asks a million times if JK missed him and the hyungs when filming the solo scene while JK avoids his question. JK comments on Jin doing his solo shoot but his comment about how him and Jimin were done and heading home and that Jimin stopped to help Jin create his pose. Lol JM stops on his bridge part of say his eyes looked funny and JK commented back to tease him asking why he was looking at him that way and that while the subs says "creepy" the better translation was pervy. Lol meaning JK knew he was giving him the EYES there 🤣 so there was response to Jimin over Jimins part and a comment about Jikook going home together to Jins part from JK, but no real reaction on his own to Jimin's MV parts here. But we should mention JKs serious heart eyes and eyelash fluttering while staring at Jimin during many parts of this reaction too.

They then follow this up a little bit later with a reaction to Dynamite B side MV. The only comment involving the both them here was from JM that they had to run like crazy to get to their spot on set on time. But otherwise there really wasn't any comment or reaction from either of them to each other on this one, and no comment about it at all from JK.

Life Goes On MV reaction at the end of 2020 during their vlive is the last MV reaction they did for the year of 2020. The only comment from JK to or about Jimin was after Jimin specifically asked him why he filmed him brushing his teeth/getting ready for the day. Which JK answered with a bad breath joke and saying he wanted to keep the MV like their reality. JM doesn't comment about any of JKs scenes at all here either.

Next up, we have their Butter MV reaction from 2021. They did this during their live stream commentary as well. This one was fairly short too. They went through it very very quickly in only 3 minutes. The only big comments JK gave in these 3 minutes was that he went on a water fast for 5 days for the MV, which only JM seemed to know about, which JM then pouted when his Comment about the water fast went unheard. And that he very much so wanted to tease his Hobi hyung about having to eat a big pad of butter. Lol JM didn't comment on JK here either except for his attempt at the water fast comment and a small comment about JKs long hair at the start.

And their latest as of now MV reaction was for the Permission to Dance MV, which was filmed right before the MV was released. JM comments on JK with him opening the scene with an "Oh, JK." JM teases him about his laundromat spin scene asking if it was the power of editing. JK was quiet through this really. His only comments being a how cute to the little kids dancing and his remark about how if you look at each other while dancing it will make you laugh. Which had him and Jimin looking at each other and doing the dance in tiny with big smiles.

So that's all of them I think. I only included music videos. Not reactions to stage performances, behind the scenes stuff, photoshoots etc. I also encourage you all to go and watch all these videos and see everything in the whole context. The vibes from both JK and JM during filming. Things they said to everyone else, reactions to the things that were said, things everyone else said about them. These little glimpses I talk about are just barely the tip of the iceberg of everything else going on in the videos.

Personally, I love how loudly supportive they are of each other or how amazed they get by each other, or the soft smiles often given when they see the other on screen. But often does NOT mean every single time ever. In 2014 there were 3 reactions filmed, JK said one thing about JM during his long held note during danger. That Video was also 17 minutes long. Other than that, neither of them commented on each other. In 2015 there were 2 videos for I Need U, JK didn't comment on Jimins parts in either of those videos. Nor did he comment on JM in the Run MV either. 2016 he was all over calling Jimin sexy in BST, can't blame him. In 2017, there were 2 videos, in one JK didn't comment on Jimin at all, in the other he was very appreciative of Jimins hips. In 2018, he made a flirty remark to Jimin during a scene where Jimin is flirting with the camera. No reactions (i think) in 2019. In 2020, there were 5 reactions videos posted, since the art film wasn't them technically i won't count it. The iconic black swan Jimin fanboying from JK, the Dynamite one where it was a comment prompted by Jimin and was teasing, so idk if I would count that as him hyping up Jimin's part like he did in other reactions. The ON reaction where he shouted his name when he first came on, but that's it. And the b side reaction where he didn't mention him at all. And Life Goes On, where again, it was a teasing remark, prompted by Jimin. And in 2021, we had 2 videos, where they interacted with each other fine and seemed happy, but they didn't really comment on each other's parts of the video. To sum up... lol

So out of a total of 19 videos, 8 of them have JK not remarking on Jimin's parts of the video at all. 6 of those videos take place before 2021. That is essentially 40% of their total reaction videos since 2014. 35% of those no comment videos from JK being from before 2021. So when the anon you are referencing here from @kanmom51 blog said that this was proof of a consistent pattern being broken, it's just not true. One video had no comment from JK in 2017, which we know was a good year for them. 2020 had multiple videos, one had NO comment at all, and 2 of them had only a teasing remark about Jimin after it was prompted by Jimin. Which in no way stops how cute those were, but can we really count them as JK hyping up his man's solo MV parts? He obviously cares, he obviously enjoys. But the comment of especially in 2020, well its not true. 1 out of 5 had nothing, and only 2 out of 5 could really be called "hype" behavior or "cheerleader" behavior. Black Swan was iconic with JK's reaction, but it is not the standard of every reaction video.

I rounded down slightly with my percentages. I am not a math person though, if anyone catches my math not mathing. Let me know.

So technically, yes. It is correct that JK didn't really comment on Jimin's parts in the 2021 MV video reactions. But it is NOT correct that this is indicative of a pattern broken or that it hints of changed behavior between Jimin and Jungkook. Started and ending this post with iconic KM lifts, 2013 to 2020, beautiful from start to finish.
