The response to "aro people are just heartless freaks!" Shouldn't be "aro people can still feel love!" And instead be "not feeling love or other emotions doesn't make you a bad person."

Instead of pushing the idea that aspec people can be "normal like allos" we should instead be trying to normalize aspec experiences. Yes aspec people can be normal because aspec identities are normal. Some aros fall in love. some aces have sex. but they should not be the only valid aspec experiences. We should not use these experiences to make the aspec identity more palatable to amatonormativity and allos.

There's something about like. A certain genre of posts / Online Opinions about insecurity/depression/misery/complaints that are so unhelpful that they wrap right around to being straight up hilarious. and it's the ones that are more or less written to the tone of "Feeling bad? That's gross!" Like, just so you know, don't voice your insecurities/ have low self esteem, because that's offputting! You're gross and weird. Don't be insecure about that, though. That would be stupid if you felt insecure about people disliking you for being insecure. Not attractive. You should be thinking about being as attractive as possible. You shouldn't make comments about suicide, even if you're suicidal! Keep those thoughts entirely to yourself. Make sure nobody around you knows you're thinking about this. It would Make Them Uncomfortable. It's better to keep these thoughts in your head where they can fester. Don't post OR talk to friends with complaints about you feeling miserable or depressed. Tbh people who are sad/upset a lot? Kinda a red flag! You are probably miserable because you're a bad person and you've brought this on yourself. If you don't have friends, it's because you're awful to be around. Easy! Solved the problem for you. And no, there is no nuance to this, got it? So, make sure to feel bad about feeling bad, but don't feel bad about it, because, well, that's just gross. And annoying! You might've wanted your brain rotted thoughts to be Peer Reviewed, you might have just needed to vent- you might've been hoping for some comfort, to get things off your chest. Well, don't! I was possessed by the need to draw all Flight Rising deities today, but why stop there when i could also give them a small rework to fit my own concepts? So, meet the gladekeeper! Kinda inspired by foo dogs, jade temples, and those legends of the turtles so big that they became whole continents! (Still a wip sketch btw!!! Im gonna post the finished version later)

Some points im gonna keep in mind for the finished version:

Birds to give a sense of scale of how much of a behemoth i want her to be

Carved/painted wood details as if dragons that adore her carved beautiful inscriptions on her body over the years, sort of how lovers do that thing on trees

Flower bush beard

Maybe a little pond with lilypads somewhere but not sure where i would fit it

Maybe an autumn version aswell

Okay there’s like a whole post I wanna make on Mordred and Guinevere but I was reading Mordred’s usurpation in the Vulgate and I forgot how funny Mordred’s fake Arthur letter is

“Yes I am Arthur and I am currently dying. You should definitely make Mordred king. Because I will be dead. Also he should totally marry Guinevere. It is very important that he marry Guinevere.”

Like I know that was Mordred’s first draft and he was just really banking that none of the Barons would ask questions (and they didn’t so I guess he was right).
