Imagine getting bullied for dating both Vance hopper and Bruce Yamada but them defending you:

It was hard sometimes dating both Vance and Bruce at the same time. Especially because of how different they were.

But it didn’t matter you loved them both, and they loved you. The only real problem was bullying. (not from them they would never) most of the people at the school wasn’t really supportive about our relationship more so they weren’t supportive of a girl dating two guys at once, and yet they praised the guys for sharing a girlfriend.

“She’s such a slut dating two guys at once,” Matty one of Finney bully’s whispered quietly. But apparently not quite enough as it caused the two boys to freeze. 

Vance quickly whipped his head around as Bruce threw him a dirty glare, protectively taking you in his arms.

Ok, let's go: If Elijah and Hayley decided to try a polyamorous relationship (with one other person) what do you think it would be like? Would they be more dominant in the bedroom and outside of it or would it be evenly matched?

I don't think they would want a polyamorous relationship permanently, but eternity is a long time and could definitely see them trying it out.

I always see Elijah as the more dominant in the bedroom while Hayley is more dominant in everyday life. That being said, they definitely trade off and both have a lot of respect for each other in both situations.

If they invited someone into their relationship though, it could not be a dominant person. That would be too much. They both already have such strong personalities. I could see them inviting someone with more submissive tendencies to join them temporarily. I honestly think they would both enjoy watching each other. It would allow for both of them to be dominant at once instead of trading off.

If they ever got to a place where they were in a relationship for any period of time, they would be very secure in their relationship and neither of them would be overly territorial as they would trust each other and would make all of the decisions together.

I don't think it would be a full polyamorous relationship as the third person would very much be a third and not become equal partners to either of them. Jealousies may start to come out if the person was fully integrated into their relationship. Neither of them let people in easily so it would be difficult for them to both let the same person in.

They also both have serious trust issues which would severely limit who they would invite into their relationship. Additionally, they would both be concerned on how bringing someone else in would affect their family as a whole.

Basically, I could see them inviting someone into their bedroom before I could really see them inviting someone into their relationship/life.

He remembered the first explosion that had changed his life.

They had only been off Vester for a few days and despite being given their own dorm rooms on Kessa Station while the Eatons figured out what to do with all of them, Ghazi, Amaya, and Tetsu had crammed into one room.

They sat on the floor in a tight circle, knees to knees, taking up all the space the little room had. Between them, they had a pile of food packs and drinks they’d nicked from around the station. The Eatons offered them meals and said it was free, but they didn’t trust that yet. Nothing was ever free and Vester kids knew to get the tab before taking a bite.

Amaya was talking about overhearing some of the older refugees taking work with a shipping company. It sounded like all they had to do was watch over cargo en route across space. Tetsu had heard that age mattered outside Vester, so they decided that when the people asking the questions and dealing out identification cards got to them, they’d add a few cycles to their ages.

Ghazi felt his heart beating up in his throat when the other two talked about plans, wondering if he was a part of them or if they were just telling him what they were going to do—where they were going to go.

He had been so focused on escaping Vester that he hadn’t imagined what would happen when they did.

Maybe he had thought that Josephine would keep the whole crew together and lead them out into the stars just like she’d said when they were small and unable to sleep. But Jo was dead, and Atlas had lost his mind. Hugo was too focused on saving Atlas from himself now to worry about the rest of them.

Ghazi jumped when Amaya touched his arm, but he didn’t pull away. She turned it, palm up, and held it in the middle, examining the crisscross scars from his palm to his elbow. It had been so raw and infected when they carried him down the docks to the escape ships, but after a couple days on Kessa, they were healed—now just thin, bright scars. They slashed through the black bird tattoo on his wrist. Amaya thumbed the scar.

“They did good,” Tetsu said. He’d already traced every line after Ghazi got back from the medical floor the day before.

Ghazi closed his eyes. He couldn’t imagine not having Tetsu and Amaya with him. His heart physically hurt at the idea of being left by them. He thought he understood then the way that Atlas had screamed when Josephine died—and why he couldn’t get himself up again.

Amaya’s fingers squeezed his arm, tugging gently, asking him to open his eyes.

When he did, they were both staring at him in the dim room, looking worried.

Amaya let go of his arm and asked. “What’s wrong?”

Ghazi dragged a breath, trying to figure out how to explain something they had never made words for. He wanted to tell them how he felt—how they made him feel—but he fumbled through signs. Tetsu’s eyes narrowed, and that worried crease formed in his brow. They had no words for what happened inside him when he thought of them, for the way he missed them any moment they weren’t together, or how he thought he’d rather die than lose them. But he tried to make those words.

In their little circle on the floor, the three of them enclosed against the whole galaxy, Ghazi tried to make a word for that feeling. For their part, Tetsu and Amaya watched patiently. He had tears in his eyes when he tapped his head and his heart and then finally did the gesture Amaya used for blowing things up. Hands together in a ball and then both opening and pulling apart with fingers spread.

Tetsu and Amaya looked at one another and then at him again.

Ghazi dropped his hands into his lap, somehow hopeless and hopeful at the same time.

Tetsu studied him for another few seconds before reaching out and tapping Ghazi’s heart twice, blew something up between them, and then gestured between himself and Amaya. “Which one of us?” he was asking.

Ghazi almost laughed, scrubbing tears away from his face before they could fall far. He looked down at his folded legs. He could steal vehicles, make ruined engines purr, and fend off pirates with nothing but his fists and his will, but this? This was hard. He took a breath and made himself look up. Just once. Just be brave once. He tapped Tetsu’s heart, Amaya’s heart, and then his own. And then he blew it up again.

Amaya smiled like she couldn’t hold it back even if she’d tried. Tetsu smiled too, smaller and pressed into the corner of his mouth like he was trying not to gloat. It wasn’t mocking, but warm and amused, like Ghazi was late to realizing something the other two already had.

Amaya took his hand, lacing their fingers, and Tetsu reached out slowly, touching Ghazi’s jaw. He traced another scar before lifting his face and leaning in.

Ghazi had never been kissed before.

just found out there is a new polyam flag from my friend making an online advent calendar for me,, saying this is you (poly flag) and the picture is of a flag ive never seen in my life. and im like no tf it isnt??

like ive seen the polyam flag before and thats not right,,, but i question myself and if u look up polyamourous flag you just get the old one so im like bitch tf r u on abt.

and she says its the new one, yknow how everyone hated the old flag and thought it was ugly

and oike sure its an eyesore but just make a muted colour version not an entirely different design that no one will recognise if they dont known already.

A flag is meant to be recognisable and represent the community it is for.

the new flag is neither because ppl dont recognise it and ppl in the community dont even know it exists

like yall just want more aesthetic flags u can put next to ur blorbos and disregard the actual importance of the role flags play
