L'ikigai è un concetto giapponese che può essere tradotto come "ragione di vivere" o "scopo nella vita". Si riferisce alla passione o alla motivazione che ci spinge ad alzarci ogni giorno dal letto e a dedicarci a qualcosa che ci dà un senso di soddisfazione e benessere.

Per trovare il proprio ikigai, è importante riflettere su ciò che ci piace fare, ciò di cui siamo bravi, ciò di cui c'è bisogno nel mondo e ciò per cui siamo disposti a ricevere un compenso. Una volta individuate le risposte a queste domande, possiamo cercare di trovare una combinazione di questi elementi che ci dia un senso di soddisfazione e benessere.

È anche importante ricordare che l'ikigai può cambiare nel corso della vita, quindi è una cosa che va ricercata e rinnovata continuamente. Potrebbe essere utile parlarne con amici e familiari, o cercare consigli da persone che hanno già trovato il loro ikigai.

Per capire in cosa sei bravo, potrebbe essere utile fare un'autovalutazione. Ciò significa prendere in considerazione le tue attitudini, le tue competenze, i tuoi interessi e le tue passioni, e cercare di individuare i tuoi punti di forza.

Potresti anche chiedere aiuto a persone che ti conoscono bene, come amici, familiari o colleghi, e chiedere loro cosa pensano tu sia bravo a fare. Potrebbero avere una prospettiva diversa dalla tua e potrebbero aiutarti a individuare delle abilità che non avevi considerato.

Un altro modo per capire in cosa sei bravo è quello di fare esperienze diverse e provare a fare cose nuove. Ciò ti darà la possibilità di scoprire nuove abilità e passioni, e potrebbe aiutarti a individuare ciò in cui sei veramente bravo.

Infine, ricorda che nessuno è bravo in tutto, quindi non preoccuparti se non riesci a trovare subito ciò in cui sei bravo. L'importante è continuare a cercare e a sperimentare, e non scoraggiarsi se non si trovano subito dei risultati.

Are you staring at the shadows flickering on the wall? or are you engaged in real life? 😎⁠ ⁠ Plato’s "Allegory of the Cave" is a concept devised by the philosopher to ruminate on the nature of belief versus knowledge. The allegory states that there exists prisoners chained together in a cave. Behind the prisoners is a fire, and between the fire and the prisoners are people carrying puppets or other objects. This casts a shadow on the other side of the wall. The prisoners watch these shadows, believing them to be real.⁠ ⁠ Plato posits that one prisoner could become free. He finally sees the fire and realizes the shadows are fake. This prisoner could escape from the cave and discover there is a whole new world outside that they were previously unaware of.⁠ ⁠ This prisoner would believe the outside world is so much more real than that in the cave. He would try to return to free the other prisoners. Upon his return, he is blinded because his eyes are not accustomed to actual sunlight.
