Being "cringe" is good actually
(All of this is /srs and /pos)
I fucking love being cringe. I love being otherkin, I love identifying as xenogenders (and queer in general!), I fucking love sparkly colors and rainbows. I love being neurodivergent. I love enjoying media that's considered "cringy".
And I love it when others are "cringe" and "quirky" too. I love furries and other alterhumans. I love other neurodivergent people! I love folks who use typing quirks. I love systems of all origins! I love age regressors and pet regressors. I love people with "cringy" interests! I love OCs and characters that are Mary Sues! I love self-shippers! I love OC x Canon shippers!
I love people who are cringe!

Quirky pride flags
[Plain text: Quirky pride flags]
These flags are for people who reclaim the idea of "only being (gay/lesbian and/or trans) to be quirky". These people will be happy calling themself 'quirky' and take pride in such. These flags are exclusive to those in the LGBTQ+ community who reclaim the term, if someone does not identify with this, please don't call them "quirky because they're gay", that's disrespectful. ❤️
I didn't know if this existed yet or not, if it already does, these can serve as an alternative flag.

Hey, if you're an adult who identifies with xenogenders, please know that you're not being immature or childish. It's not childish to feel like your gender is better represented by a constellation, feels more like an abandoned house, and sounds like that one specific song you've been listening to. It's not immature to see your gender as a dinosaur, or a neon radioactive cat.
The 'hey that person who's catgender is 15 years old and neurodivergent!' argument, while made with the intention of legitimizing xenogenders, doesn't do justice to ALL xenic experiences. I know multiple xenic adults. Hell, I knew someone who was, like, 26 at the time I was in contact with them. You're never too old to identify with one, two, or THOUSANDS of xenogenders. Please remember that.
-a xenic adult
[Banner ID: DNI system/queer exclusionists, TERFs/SWERFs, truscum/transmeds, anti recovery for harmful paraphilia, anti otherkin, anti self dx, pro cringe culture, pro-lifers, anti xenogender. A more detailed DNI is in my pinned post. End ID]

Reading all the complaints about microlabels it seems like people have an idea that ‘you just want to feel opressed’.
Which is. No!
That’s not what microlabels are for. And honestly it feels pretty offensive to assume that you are the way you are just to be opressed. This is the core part of your identity and if you are not opressed or not as oppressed as others, you are not valid.
Labels are words. And you know what words are for? That’s right, to desribe something in the most accurate way.
Labels give people a sense of belonging and community. A sense of understanding and being understood.
When you don’t have to build this massive explanation, when you can say one word and this is you.
They are acting like we will rip away their spot light of poor opressed victim. Or we will take their piece of a pie by also being here jfc.
We are people and we are all living our lifes and you don’t get to order how we do it. We aren’t touching you and you leave us alone.
