職場の人に言われました。

👀！？

私に趣味ってあったかな❔っておもいましたが、雨以外の平日はウォーキングは日課🚶‍♀️だって海外旅行で歩く体力は必須です。カメラできれいな風景、食べ物の写真を撮るのも大好き。美味しいご飯とスイーツも通い詰めてます(店員さんが優しい店と言う条件付きですが笑)。

Dua Lipaのファンと名乗るにはおこがましいけれど、好きと憧れみたいな感じ。

っておもいましたが、端から見たら楽しそうで羨ましいらしい。

最近は…スペイン語の勉強を再開してます。フランス語圏に訪問した人は分かると思いますが、英語で質問したら、フランス語で返事されるというお決まりがありまして。

これが効きました🤣　今後の渡航先での万一に備えてスペイン語で��破できるようにしています。

コロナの最中に訪問したチュニジアでも警察官３人組にやられました👮‍♂️🇫🇷

ヤケになって英語か日本語で話すのはしゃくなので、スペイン語で言い返しました笑

私の趣味はいろんな要素に繋がっています。

Had this in my drafts for half a year. It took seeing a particularly odious take on Twitter to finally break it out.

Day #655 of being deeply upset with how the English translators took such liberties with Volo's dialogue that it affected how his character would be perceived.

He does not refer to the protagonist as a "puny human" in Japanese! He refers to the protagonist with the "-san" honorific as he always has! Despite being completely out of his gourd, he shows more respect to the protagonist than Giratina (omae)!

And most of all, Volo's response to being told the protagonist has a dream is to imply he wants to be part of that dream but feels he no longer can after what he's done!

Not that his dream is incompatible with the protagonist's, but that he himself isn't compatible! He is lamenting!

I just want to know why? What was the purpose of altering Volo's dialogue and putting words in his mouth in the English translation?
