“WORK OF CLEARING SNOW PROCEEDING RAPIDLY,” Montreal Star. February 19, 1931. Page 3. --- 300 Miles of Road Ready By Tonight ---- More than 300 miles of road about Montreal will be open to traffic this evening, it was learned at local offices of the Provincial Roads Department.

The department adopted an elaborate program before the winter and recent snowfalls have delayed traffic for a few hours only. Additional men have been engaged to clear the snow as soon as possible and this evening, all routes will be completely open.

The principal roads are Montreal-Riviere Beaudette, section of the Montreal-Toronto Highway, Tour of the Island of Montreal, Tour of Jesus Island, Montreal-Ste. Eustache, Montreal-St. Jerome, Montreal-Terrebonne, Montreal-L'Assomption-L'Epiphanie, Montreal-Rouse's Point, Montreal-Longueuil-St. Hubert, Montreal- Boucherville and Montreal-Valleyfield- Ormstown-Trout River.

In addition, the highway between Montreal and the Vermont boundary is being cleared by the Provincial Transport Company.

Love the idea that Red Robin (the restaurant) doesn't exist in the DC universe, but *does* exist in the Pham's home universe.

Just a constant ongoing thing of someone saying Tim's hero name and whatever member(s) of the Pham are there say "Yum" without hesitation.

Everyone in the DC verse thinking that Tim - as Red Robin specifically - is some kind of Adonis to folks on the Ghost/Liminal Spectrum.

It's causing problems. Members of his family that are romantically interested in Pham members are salty. Bruce keeps trying to give him The Talk (the "how to let a group of people all interested in fucking you down gently and professionally" talk, and the "how to form a healthy polycule" talk, Bruce is nothing but thorough). The Younge Justice crew will *not* let him live it down. Dick is going all protective big brother on him, saying that if it makes him uncomfortable just let Dick know and he'll Take Care of It.

He's also deeply confused as to why they all sorta *sing* his hero name before they say Yum?? Is it some kind of call and response ghostly courting thing??

The Pham, notably, are entirely unaware of the chaos they are causing with this. For a long time they don't even know Red Robin (the restaurant) doesn't exist in this universe. They aren't even fully aware that they're doing the Yum thing. It's just too ingrained in them to fully realize it.

You guys ever think about an AU where Jason goes to hound Tim through Titans Tower, and, mid pursuit—while Tim is screaming at him about the second Robin being his hero, tryin to crawl away in a trail of blood—realizes he’s become an even worse version of his own mother, who sold him out to the Joker?

HotD S2 E3 Spoilers Ahead!!!

After all the interviews I’ve read between the actors or show runners, I genuinely think people are missing out on a lot of HotD by not interpreting Alicent and Rhaenyra, at least partially, as WLW. Sara Hess and the other producers have explicitly said that there’s a deeper love between them. Even if they “don’t have the words or ability to recognize it as romantic or sexual attraction.”

All of the actors who play Rhaenyra and Alicent (younger and grown) have said they intentionally inject homoerotic tension into their scenes. Idk idk I just don’t think we need to see them kiss on screen to know the intention behind the way they act with each other

I truly believe if you don’t clock the longing glances and lingering embraces as romantic then you’ll miss out on the ongoing characterizations of Rhaenyra/ Alicent in the show.

I see a lot of people say “Rhaenyra should have never snuck back into kings landing,” or “Alicent should have killed her in the sept” and yeah, sure, that would make sense if they didn’t have years of subtly placed romantic interactions between them. Because of their history and the love they have for one another it’s no surprise to me that Of COURSE Rhaenyra trusts that she won’t die during the mission, OF COURSE Alicent lets her go after.

Their relationship is so much more than being girls who were close friends when they were younger………….

Something about 15 having more elements of Gallifreyan culture (the writing on the sonic and on the freaking nails) in his image than any Doctor before.

Something about him flippantly stating he was abandoned instead of TOTALLY KIDNAPPED MY PARENTS WERE TOTALLY SOMEWHERE THERE IN THAT COMPLETELY EMPTY SPOT.

Something about knowing it's more important to save Ruby now than to learn of her past.

Something about parent with their own issues frame rather than an eternal child.

Something about Carla using the same words as the Doctor to reflect on how we are defined by our memories and people we know rather than by vague essence of might have beens.

Something about identifying with the past you had with its good and bad sides rather than the very bad sides you can't even remember.

And yes, something about Gatwa being the first first generation immigrant to play the Doctor.

Picture this for me, will you?

You've been dating this person for a few months now. You had a rocky start, they wanted you to be ready for something you only just discovered days before your first date, but overall you think the relationship is going well. You're comfortable enough to have him over to your place for a quiet dinner. You've had a horrible few days, your entire world seems to be falling apart around you, so you lean on your significant other.

The closest thing you've ever had to a father (your own was emotionally absent and you weren't close to your grandparents) has just had a near death experience. He's okay, but you're still shaken about it. You just want someone to talk to. So you bring it up.

And instead of your significant other being a shoulder to lean on and be open with, they choose to joke about the event. You try to hide that it upset you, they probably didn't mean anything by it. They just wanted to make you feel better, right?

You get the conversation back on track- or try to. They proceed to tell you they're jealous, practically telling you you're lucky you have someone to be so worried about. They didn't have a relationship with their father, or the person who could've been their father figure. Now you feel bad for making it about you. So you try to connect on some common ground based on what they said. You both have deep seated issues with your father.

Your significant other proceeds to deny it, despite just stating otherwise. They're not letting you in. Then, for reasons you still don't understand, they make a point to not only agree that you have those issues, but that it's kinda kinky.

You realize they've talked like this before. Not made it about sex but… they dismissed you. Brushed your feelings or your wants- no matter how small- under the carpet, and made you feel like the things you thought were important didn't matter. Maybe you're overreacting. It's been an awful week, emotions are still running high with no chance of peace, so maybe it's just you.

But then again... maybe it isn't.

"Gang Clearing Snow From Roads,” Montreal Star. November 3, 1932. Page 11. ---- 2000 Men at Work on Highways in Quebec Area ---- QUEBEC, Nov. 3— (Star Special) -Two thousand men were at work yesterday as wall as numerous tractors, and as a result of their efforts the Murray Bay road was reopened last night, as well as several other highways which were affected by Tuesday's snowstorm. 

The Murray Bay road, providing an opening to Chicoutimi, was reported open last night while the 40 mile stretch on the Perron Boulevard, between Ste. Agathe and Val Brillant in the Matapedia Valley, will probably be opened during the course of today.

Twelve inches of snow in the Laurentides National Park, falling on top of snow that occurred during the last three weeks, has closed this road to traffic of all kinds and fears were expressed by J. L. Boulanger, deputy Minister of Highways, last night that the road would remain closed. 

The north shore of the St Lawrence seems to have been hardest hit by the storm, for it was reported last night that all South Shore roads were open.

To the anon who shared her experience after turning 32. I'm in my early 30s and still not married, haven't been able to graduate from university and working but not even sure if I'll be able to work in that job for a very long time. I still live with my parents and my mother urges me to marry someone. I think we all move forward in different ways and different time lines. There's no specific time to experience the events of life. Even though I feel pressured in every aspect of my life, I'm glad to know what I want in life, and I don't see myself as a failure. I hope you take time for yourself and don't feel pressured.
