🍎 ｡:*• ─ WEREWOLF PLOTS.    ›   ( a compilation of plot ideas involving werewolves, suitable for both modern days and past eras/AUs. )

1. The cure — muse A is a scientist who, having had a bad experience with werewolves in the past ( maybe they barely escaped from an attack ?  maybe they’ve seen a loved one being attacked/kidnapped by werewolves ?  maybe they’re the descendant of a deceased wolf-hunter ? ), has dedicated their whole life to find a cure for lycanthropy. One day they find and kidnap muse B, a werewolf, to keep in their lab and learn more about their condition, maybe even do some testing and experimenting on them. How will their relationship develop ? Will A learn that there’s more to werewolves than meets the eye ?  Could they make peace with the past and accept B for what they are ?  Or will they forcefully cure them ?  Will B turn against their captor ? Try to escape or punish them by turning them into what they most despise ?

2. The hunt — muse A and muse B come from an old, renowned clan of werewolf hunters ( they could be siblings, cousins, a couple or just friends ) . They’re considered the best, but during a particularly difficult hunt, muse A makes a mistake and gets attacked by the werewolf, who escapes unharmed. Now they both know it’s only a matter of time before A also turns into one of the creatures they’ve hunt all of their lives. Will B put their old beliefs and traditions above all and abandon A ?  Maybe even try to kill them ?  Will both of them return to their clan and pretend nothing happened for as long as they can, while trying to look for a cure ? Will this give them and their clan a whole new perspective on werewolves, or will everything remain the same ?  And what if they end up face to face with the werewolf that bit A ?  Will they still want revenge, try to learn more about A’s condition, become friends with the wolf ?  ( As an alternative, muse B can be the werewolf, instead of muse’s A hunting partner. )

3. The prophecy — muse A and muse B are two werewolves born on the same night ( maybe they’re twins, or just belong to the same pack ?  maybe different packs ? ), fitting the exact description of an ancient prophecy that says that one of them is destined to bring peace, while the other is fated to start a pack war. As they grew up, have they always known about this prophecy ?  How has it affected them and/or their relationship with each other ?  Is it apparent which of them will bring peace and who will bring war ?  Do they even believe the prophecy or will do anything in their power to prove it wrong ? And what if, in their efforts to escape their fate, they end up fulfilling it ?  Could a pack war be necessary to ultimately achieve peace ?

4. The willing victim — muse A has never been popular  ( maybe they were considered the “weird kid” at school and suffered bullying growing up ?  maybe they’ve moved a lot and never made friends ? ), struggling with lack of confidence and never being taken seriously by their co-workers and/or love interests. With little to no social life, they had plenty of time to dedicate to something that has always fascinated them — werewolves !  Having watched all the movies and read all the books, muse A knows all the lore about werewolves, so when they meet muse B ( a new roommate/neighbor/co-worker ?  someone they met at a bar or just passing by ? ) it doesn’t take them long to notice some signs and recognize them for what they truly are. Will A confront B with this ?  Will B try to deny the truth ?  Will A see this as an opportunity to be more than what they’ve always been and beg B to turn them into a werewolf as well ?  Maybe even blackmail them into it ?  Will B give in ?  And if yes, would they try to take care of the new wolf, teaching them all they know ?  Would A try to impress the people in their life with their new powers, maybe even take revenge ?  How would the relationship between A and B develop ?

5. The new pup — muse A had a one night stand with a stranger and ends up pregnant, but something isn’t quite right, as they tend to sleepwalk and have a peculiar craving for raw meet, especially when there’s a full moon. Muse B is taking care of them ( they could be a friend, a family member, a house keeper, etc... ) and, secretly being a werewolf, knows exactly what is wrong with muse A. Will they tell A ?  Will they assist them in birthing and raising a baby werewolf ?   ( Alternatively, if muse A is male, they could have had a one night stand with a stranger and, nine months later, a baby is left at their door. Muse B is a friend / partner / family member / roommate living with them and, being a werewolf, knows exactly why this baby isn’t like any other they’ve seen before. )

6. Tale as old as time — muse A is a werewolf, muse B is a vampire. Ignoring the centuries-old war between the two species, they love each other. Will they be able to conceal this relationship from their clans ?  Pretend to hate and fight each other in the presence of others, while secretly meeting afterwards ?  What if they were discovered ?  Would they run away together, fueling the war even more ?  Would their familial bonds speak louder than love ?  Or could love be the answer and the beginning of a truce ?  What if an hybrid child had been conceived ?  And what if muse A is betrothed to the alpha of their wolf pack ?  Would they end up fulfilling their duty and abandon their vampire lover, in order to protect them ?  ( As an alternative, muse B can be the alpha to whom A is promised. How would they react to the news that their betrothed had been with a vampire ?  Could they look past it and still accept A ?  Could A learn to love B ? )

Below you’ll find five plots created inspired by the songs of the swedish group ABBA. These can be used in romantic plots, but also adapted for other types of narrative.

ONE OF US. ( 1981, The Visitors )

Muse a and muse b had a relationship for a few years, but broke up for having very opposite visions of life. Muse a is an artist, sees the world in color and dreams of knowing more about everything, being an enthusiast of all things creative and artistic. Meanwhile, muse b is a businessperson who comes from a traditional family and has always dreamed of becoming the best in their field and living a peaceful life. A few years after breaking up, they meet again, having achieved some of their dreams. Muse a is a recognized artist, travels the world and can live life according to their own wishes, while muse b has achieved a high position in a global company, is recognized and lectures on business and how to achieve objectives. However, they both feel there is something missing in their lives and cannot feel truly fulfilled. The reunion therefore causes mixed feelings, mainly fights about the past, about how muse a cried for months or how muse b felt too small and useless. But something inside them still shines through and maybe there's still a chance. Or will someone get hurt in this story once again?

WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE ME? ( 1976, Arrival )

In a charming seaside village lives muse a, a talented young violinist whose passion for music sets them apart from the rest. Cheerful as ever, their contagious joy and love of life has always attracted curious eyes, especially those of muse b, an introspective painter who finds beauty in the little things. Their lives take an unexpected turn when a summer festival is announced in the town, promising a talent contest. Muse a and muse b end up getting involved in the planning of the contest, causing them to suddenly grow closer and start spending a lot of time together, whether naturally or not. Because muse a is very authentic and distracted, they get into a lot of trouble to make the contest happen, which forces muse b out of their comfort zone. Feelings begin to emerge naturally, making them think "Why did it have to be me?" and deciding, unaware of the other's decision, to perform in the show as a way of expressing their feelings.

MONEY, MONEY, MONEY. ( 1976, Arrival )

In the busy alleys of a bustling city, muse a is trapped in a routine of debt and financial difficulties. Working tirelessly at a job that barely pays the bills, they dream of a life of luxury and comfort. In a twist of fate, muse a meets muse b, a charismatic businessperson who has always lived in a world where money has never been a problem. When they notice muse a's situation, muse b decides to hide their lifestyle for fear of being attracted to them for that reason alone. Muse a begins to get closer to muse b, having someone to talk to who seems to understand everything. However, muse b's lies start to cause a lot of confusion for both of them and they have to choose whether they really want muse a to live in a lie forever or to tell the truth.

LAY ALL YOUR LOVE ON ME. ( 1980, Supertrouper )

In the picturesque setting of a coastal island lives muse a, a lonely sculptor whose heart was closed after a traumatic relationship. Everything changes when they meet muse b, a mysterious person who arrives on the island in search of a fresh start. As they grow closer, muse a discovers the painful secrets that muse b hides, making their time together a way to begin to heal past wounds. Discovering they've both been through toxic relationships and a series of betrayals, muse a and muse b contemplate the possibility of love no longer existing and have to deal with this situation. But when muse b's former partner turns up on the island looking for reconciliation, muse a realizes that their hearts are no longer closed to love. They're completely won over by muse b and will do whatever to have them.

Muse a is a determined and charismatic person who works as a tour guide in a historic town. Their lives change when they meet muse b, a charming and enigmatic historian. Their attraction is immediate, but they soon discover sharing a rivalry in the search for information about an ancient secret of the city. As muse a and muse b compete to unravel the centuries-old mystery in an almost real war of espionage and tactics, they discover how they'll need to combine the information they've collected individually if they really want to uncover the secret. As time goes by, they discover more in common than previously thought, find it much easier to work together and start to having a lot of fun with everything discovering more of the town and themselfs.

mother’s daughter: muse a has had a pretty rough childhood. when her mother was a teen, she got pregnant early with muse a and was tormented relentlessly. it made her snap and attempt to kill the girls who were making fun of her. in the end, she was apprehended and put in a mental health facility to live out the rest of her days. fast forward 20+ years and muse b is the child of the ‘final girl’. everyone thought that the baby had not been born, but muse a is out there, terrorizing muse b and their friends because of what happened to her mother. she could be hiding in plain sight, being friends with the group (and has been for years) or is a stranger.

bury a friend: after a freak accident, muse a and muse b accidentally kill their mutual friend. whether or not it’s an actual accident is up to you. muse a goes completely numb, and muse b is picking up the pieces, trying to figure out how to get away from the guilt. muse a ends up having a taste for killing, and muse b is left trying to clean up their messes so they don’t get caught. 

twisted teeth: muse a is part of a coven of prominent vampires, who don’t often associate with other beings… especially humans. however, muse a is a bit of a rebel and likes to blend in with humans as a bit of a game. but when they meet muse b, everything changes. there is a primal desire to bond in a way that muse a has never felt before. now muse a is trying to figure out how to come clean to muse b, all the while trying not to feed from them. 

maneater: two cannibals who fall in love, but neither of them know that they eat people and their taste seems to be for each other. think of mr. and mrs. smith, but instead of having a hit on each other… they’re just cannibals. 

writer in the dark: muse a is a wanderer, going from place to place and just living life with nothing holding them back. muse b is a beautiful recluse, potentially some sort of demon/witch, who lives in a cabin in the middle of the woods. muse a ends up stumbling upon this cabin, and ends up getting locked in there with muse b. there is no way out, so muse a begins to learn how to live with muse b and being their muse.

rhiannon: muse a is a historian studying the hauntings of an old ghost in a small town, and has moved into a cheap mansion on the hill. newcomers will be bewitched by the ghost’s song. muse b is the ghost in question, burned by a scorned lover so she wouldn’t say his secrets. the ghost was murdered in the mansion that muse a is living in, and only comes to life when a resident is there. muse a finds themselves bewitched by the song and voice of muse b, who has been materializing in front of them. except it seems that the two are falling in love in an unconventional way. 

bring me to life: muse a and muse b were newly weds when muse a died suddenly. muse b did everything they could to save them, and was greeted by a demon after a last ditch effort to bring their love back to life. they do a ritual, and end up beginning muse a back to life… except something is wrong. muse a has some sort of bloodlust, and muse b has to figure out how to satiate it as they navigate living new life.

THE LION KING ― [ muse a ] and [ muse b ] are childhood best friends. they used to spend almost every day together until [ muse a ] had to leave town and has never come back since. one day, [ muse b ] comes looking for [ muse a ] because of some trouble at home. although it took some time, [ muse b ] finally finds [ muse a ], but [ muse a ] doesn't want to come back. [ muse a ] explains to [ muse b ] what happened all those years ago that made them leave their home; and that this is the reason why they can never come back. [ muse b ] is surprised by that, but still determined to get [ muse a ] to come with them because now that they finally have them back in their life, they don't want them to be gone again.

THE LITTLE MERMAID ― [ muse a ] and [ muse b ] metaphorically are from different worlds. [ muse a ] has been fascinated by [ muse b ]'s world and their differences for a long time, while [ muse b ] has no idea [ muse a ] even exists. this changes when [ muse b ] gets into a life-threatening situation and [ muse a ] who happens to be there at the time saves them. however, [ muse a ] leaves before [ muse b ] can see them, and although [ muse b ] has no recollection of that moment, they wish to find who has saved their life. meanwhile, [ muse a ] is unable to forget about [ muse b ] which leads to them going back to [ muse b ]'s world, hoping to overcome their many differences and get [ muse b ] to like them in the short amount of time [ muse a ] has before they have to go back to their world.

ALADDIN ― [ muse a ] is a rich person from a wealthy and influential family, while [ muse b ] is a poor person who has had to take care of themself since they were a child. randomly, [ muse a ] and [ muse b ] paths cross and they find an immediate connection between them. but since they are from such different backgrounds, they can't be together. this results in [ muse b ] pretending to be somebody else, someone worthy of being around [ muse a ]. surprisingly, they are able to fool everyone with this scheme ... everyone except [ muse a ].

CINDERELLA ― [ muse a ] hasn't always had it easy living with their last remaining relatives who treated them like dirt. but everything changes one evening when they sneak out to a masquerade party hosted by [ muse b ]. they start talking and have a generally good time, but when [ muse a ] notices their time is over, they have to leave [ muse b ] without another word, and without ever telling them who they are. in their haste, [ muse a ] leaves behind one item that will eventually help [ muse b ] to find them. so [ muse b ], determined to figure out who [ muse a ] is, goes off in search of them until finally the item [ muse a ] has lost brings the two of them back together.

lowkey need a criminal x agent plot. muse a is an obsessive killer who does it because all she wants is the agent, muse b, to herself. from harming the women he dates, to sending nudes of herself covered in blood or with the bloody item from trap phones, calling him right after she does it and letting him know that she wouldn’t do this if he was hers. but what happens if she’s been right up under his nose the whole time? what if she’s the cute, innocent neighbor that lives close by that he sees after a long day? the one muse b finds attractive, but never pursues because he’s so busy on this case? i don’t know i feel like this plot would be everything.

1.  Summer road trip — just our muses traveling together with no fixed destination, going on adventures, exploring, watching sunsets and sunrises together, finding themselves and maybe even finding love ?  Or falling out of it ?  Maybe getting into some trouble ? ㅤ

2.  Summer vacation — our muses were scammed and rented the same house at the same time. Unable to reach the landlord, and with none of them willing to give up the house, they now have to live together and put up with each other. Will they get along and find out they have much more in common than the same taste for houses, or will they get on each other’s nerves ? 

3.  Summer vacation — our muses’ significant others are siblings/best friends, so the four of them are going on vacation and staying together. What they don’t know is that our muses always had a huge crush on each other and/or dated in the past. Will our muses finally admit their feelings for each other and give in to them, or will they keep them hidden for the sake of their relationships ?

4. Summer cruise — our muses are on a luxurious cruise together and they’ve just met, or perhaps they’ve run into each other before and didn’t get along well. Suddenly, there’s a terrible accident and the ship is sinking, and all they have is each other to count on. Will they give in to panic, help the other calm down, worry about their well being or leave them behind ?  And as they both reach the shore, they’re stuck on a desert island together. Will they cooperate to survive, find ways to ask for help, try to build a home, fall in love, completely get on each other’s nerves ? Basically, it’s a little “Titanic meets The Blue Lagoon”.

5. Summer camp — our muses are the new counselors at a summer camp where all sorts of strange things happen. From romance to disappearances and creepy horror, everything is allowed. ( This plot was inspired by AHS 1984. )

muse a hates the holiday because of the judgment from their family for always being single. muse a recently broke up with their significant other and their mother is trying to set them up with someone new. muse b is stuck spending the holidays with someone they have no interest in and things don't go well when the person they're with realized they haven't bought them a gift. muse a and b met after the holidays as they're both returning gifs they got. after talking, muse b suggest they date but only for the holidays so they're not being forced to be set-up. they spend new years together and pretends to be together in front of exes. after a year of dating only for different holidays, they realized at christmas that they have deep feelings for each others.

𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲

version 1: muse a is still not over her former boyfriend who does everything to keep them close despite getting engaged to someone else. devastated, they decide to get away for the holidays and enter a house exchange with someone wealthy from los angeles. there they met muse b, someone from the same neighborhood and they begin a friendship. muse a ex eventually shows up in los angeles, trying to woe muse a back but they stick up for themselves and turns them down. muse b eventually asks muse a on a date for new year's eve and when being told that muse a is returning to their country, muse b asks if they can join.

version 2: muse a breaks with their significant other after they admit to cheating and wanting a change of scenery, she decided to rent a small cottage in england from a house swap website. after a few hours there, muse a decides it was a mistake and plans to return home until muse b, the charming sibling of the house owner comes knocking, drunk and since muse a thinks they're leaving the next day, they sleep with muse b. the next morning muse bis gone but that night, they met again by chance in a small pub. thinking they could surprise muse b, muse a shows up unannounced at muse b's place only to discover they are a widow with two small girls. while falling for muse b, it's a life muse a never saw for themselves and despite muse b confessing their feelings, they turn them down. only when they're on the verge of leaving the country do they realize what they're about to lose and rushes to muse b.

tired of always being alone at his family chistmas dinner, muse a is happy to finally have someone to bring home until he discovers through muse b, his best friend, that his boyfriend has a wife. since muse a already told his family that he was bringing someone, he ask muse b to come with him and pretend to be his boyfriend. but before muse a has the chance to tell his family about muse b, his mother tells him she set him up with someone, convinced that muse a so-called boyfriend was not real. muse a father and sister confessed to muse b that they always thought they would be perfect for muse a and that muse a has always been happiest when muse b is around. muse a is going on many dates with the person they have been set up with but always brings muse b in conversations. muse b eventually confesses his feelings for muse a but muse a is too scared of loosing them and reject them. only when muse a thinks he's truly lost muse b is he ready to accept his own feelings and in turns he confesses them to muse b.

HARRINGROVE; First kiss

Okay so I seen a photo over on pintrest of Harringrove and my brain came up with this plot. I can not find said photo, but it was of Billy and Steve cover in cuts and bruises and just leaning against one another. Both of their knuckles were covered in blood. Obviously just finished fighting, either each other or someone or something else. Plot; So Billy Hargorve and Steve Harrington are in a fight, like fist fighting. Because it’s Billy and Steve…. Duh! Billy has Steve pinned to the ground. Billy is leaning down, probably saying some rude ass shit, like he does. I mean come on, it’s Billy Hargrove. And Steve gets distracted by Billy’s eyes, just now he notices how perfect Billy’s eyes are and stopped listening to whatever Billy was actually saying, getting lost in those beautiful eyes of his before leaning in the rest of the way and kisses Billy. Billy pulls away and Steve thinks the fight is about to get worse or Billy is about to kill him; But Billy leans back in and kisses Steve back, and then they fight over dominance, the previous fight all but forgotten.
