Matilda’s x (teen) reader- beach day
Before the end of the camp after the Olympic qualifiers everyone promised you (and harper and Harley) that you guys would go to the beach. After a lot of talks with the older girls from staff they finally agreed so the next day the girls were due to head off.
The morning they were due for the beach trip Caitlin woke you up early so we would be able to find a good spot on the beach as that is what everyone agreed on minus mini and Tameka due to having kids with them.
After you groggily got up and complained to Caitlin it was too early and she just rubbed your back and helped you get ready.
"Do you think someone will teach me how to surf?" You asked Caitlin who nodded
"I'm sure if you ask nice enough they will say yes and teach you if you wanted" she replied as your smile grew.
On the car ride there you were stuck between Kyra and Charli and demanded they play I spy with you which they agreed to. After a few rounds you all started getting competitive and Caitlin, Alanna and macca (finally being the responsible ones) shut the game down so the three of you had to sit in silence the rest of the 5 minute journey.
Once you all got to the beach the older girls all set up their towels and umbrellas and just as you were about to make a quick break for the water mini grabbed your arm
"Sunscreen" she said putting it in the hand she had grabbed as you groaned
"Do I have to?" You asked and a few of the girls that were around heard and laughed
"We may love you but the sun doesn't really love you which means your gonna burn without this and I don't want to deal with that" mini said which caused more laughter from the girls and a sigh from you as you nodded and mini made quick work of rubbing some on your face, neck and ears.
"Can we go in now?" You asked as you were waiting on your towel for a 'responsible adult' to be ready and go in with you which ruled out macca and Kyra who were the only ones ready and actually wanting to go in the water.
"Just wait another minute y/n/n I'll come in a sec I gotta let my sunscreen set" Charli said from beside you as you kept chucking longing glances at the water which felt so close yet so far to you.
After Charli had deemed that her sunscreen had set you, her, Kyra, macca, Caitlin and Sam headed into the water.
"Is no one else coming in?" You asked shocked so much of them decided to skip to opportunity to go in the ocean.
"I think teagan and raz are coming in, in a bit" macca replied just as she got splashed with water by you as you laughed like it was the funniest thing in the world "your gonna regret that" macca said smiling deviously as she advanced towards you as you tried to cower away behind Caitlin.
"Nuh uh" Caitlin said tryna move from infront of you "stay away from me" Caitlin finally moved from infront of you
"Traitor" you yelled at her as she pushed you towards macca as you then screamed which made the group around you laugh. You then caught sight of teagan and raz coming into the ocean and quickly swam towards them and hid behind the two before putting on an innocent act.
After a while of swimming you decided you wanted to surf. You came back to the shore asking all of the Matildas if they knew how to surf before you settled on lyds. Lyds grabbed a board and headed into the water with you to teach you some basics and hopefully by the end get you on some waves.
After a few failed attempts which between all of the Matildas on the beach had been filmed, you were starting to get that hang of it. You called out to lani and told her to watch this so Alanna took it upon herself to film it as lyds said a nice wave was coming. All of the Matildas on the beach and the rest that were scattered in the water watched with anticipation. You caught the wave and stood up smiling and throwing your fists in the air
"NAILED ANOTHER SPORT!" You yelled having finally gotten the hang of it before being smashed by a wave and unbeknownst to you lani had gotten all of that (including your fall) on camera.
After finally wearing yourself out after spending atleast 4 hours in the water and some out to reapply sunscreen, which you were forced to do or would have to stay in the shade next to lani, you came out of the ocean and laid on your towel. Steph was next to you and started patting your hair and detangling it a bit due to it being messy from the water and she didn't want to have to deal with it all later. She adjusted the umbrella to shade most of your body from the sun which Steph found hard eventhough you were wearing long sleeved bathers with shorts but Steph eventually managed it.

Once everyone realised you were having a little nap they were all interested to see what you would say when she woke up as it was always hilarious. When you started to stir everyone pulled their phones out but mini due to holding a sleeping harper and Steph due to running her fingers through your hair gently as to not hurt you or wake you up too fast.
"There's sand in my bed" you grumbled rubbing your eyes as everyone laughed.
After you had fully woken up you were ready to go back in the water again.
"Who wants to go back in the water with me?!" You yelled so all the Matildas that are still there can hear you
"I'll come" teagan says as you both go to the water
When lani and Steph look back out they see Tegan piggybacking you into the ocean so you're barely making contact with the water. Alanna laughs filming it to post on her Instagram story

After splashing around in the water with Teagan and playing mermaids with Cait, macca, Sam and Kyra you had fully worn yourself out and retreated back to the shore, slightly red (which would most likely go more red soon) and really hungry. Shortly after everyone left and as soon as you got back to the hotel you were in the shower to rid yourself of the salt, sand and smell of the ocean from your body. After that you enjoyed a peaceful dinner with the team before gathering in Alanna and maccas room for team bonding where you promptly fell asleep on Caitlin and everyone now realised how sunburnt you truly were

It had been a few weeks since the boys have been on the road. They called often. But it was mostly Sam. Sometimes to ask for help in research or sometimes just to make sure she's okay. Sam informed Y/n that there might a way to stop the apocalypse, as Gabriel told them, they can throw Lucifer back into his cage. The key to the cage being the rings from the four horsemen. Luckily they already had two of them. They just had to get the other two.
Bobby went out to help them with a witch problem. More like to get help himself. Cas hung around while Bobby was gone.
"How're you doin', Y/n." He asked the girl.
"I'm good honestly." She smiled. "Maybe after Lucifer is back in the cage, we could have a somewhat normal life."
"You're right." Cas replied.
"Cas I'm sorry." Y/n started. "For the times I've been mean to you. I know you were doing what you thought was right."
"It's alright. I understand." Cas said with a smile.
Bobby came back the next morning and he looked solemn. Y/n noticed and she knew something was wrong.
"Alright spill." She said sitting in front of him. The older man just sighed and looked away. "What did they do now?"
"Those idjits are trying to kill me.." He exclaimed. "How did you put up with all that all these years?" He asked.
"You get used to it, Bobby, Cmon tell me what is it now?" Y/n smiled thinking it can't be that bad.
"Sam wants to say yes." Bobby stated.
"What?" Y/n exclaimed standing up from her seat. "Why? I thought we had a plan."
"Yeah but you don't expect Lucifer to jump in out of the goodness of his heart, do you?" Bobby asked rhetorically.
"Yeah so what he's gonna sacrifice himself? What did Dean say about this?" Bobby looked away giving her the answer. "You've got to be shitting me! Dean agreed??" She exclaimed.
"I think this might actually be good idea." Cas spoke for the first time.
"Cas, not a good time buddy, lord so help me i will rip your lungs out." Y/n snapped.
"Technically that's not possible since I'm an angel. Although it would be inconvenient since I'd have to find another vessel." Cas replied his in monotonous voice.
Sometimes she hated the Angel. She left the room without a word. She can't believe Sam would suggest something like but, no wait she can because he's dumb like that. What she can't believe that Dean and Bobby are actually considering it. She slammed her foot on the car infront of her, cursing in frustration.
The boys didn't come back for atleast another week. Y/n heard the Impala pulling up in driveway and she knew they're here. She stood at the bottom of the staircase and watched as the door opened and walked in Dean. She didn't know what she was hoping for but a nod of acknowledgment just wasn't it. Dean made his way to the main room without a word. Sam entered the house few moments later.
"Hey Y/n." He greeted her and her mind went haywire. Her anger flared and all she saw was red. She was angry and upset, Dean's behaviour added fuel to the fire. Before she knew she took a step forward and punched Sam in the face causing him to reel back. He held his nose and hissed.
Dean came rushing to Sam's side and Bobby wheeled to see what the commotion is about.
"What the hell is wrong with you?" Dean asked angrily.
"Me? What is wrong with you two. All of you?" Y/n screamed. "You're going to say yes to Lucifer? You're gonna let him take you?" She asked incredulously looking at Sam.
"Y/n i know it's a hard pill to swallow but we don't have another choice. You can't just expect to ask him nicely and he'll jump in." Sam understood she's upset. He understands she can't let her best friend go. He put his hand over her shoulder but she shrugged it off and went to the main room. The others followed her behind.
"There has to be another way. Why do you have to sacrifice yourself?" She asked throwing her hands up.
"One life for seven billion lives. I don't think it's a bad bargain." Sam replied softly.
"What about us, what about me and Dean, your family?" She felt her lip quiver. "Why do you think it's your responsibility to be the one saving the world.?"
"You know damn well I started the apocalypse. It is my responsibility." Sam replied feeling himself getting angry.
"And you don't have anything to say about this?" She turned to Dean hoping he'd say something. When he didn't say anything Sam spoke.
"Look, Y/n there is no other way, we have War and Famine's rings, we're gonna get Pestilence's and Death's rings. I say Yes to Lucifer, We open the cage and I jump in."
"And you think he'll let you do that? You think he's not gonna take over your body as soon you say Yes." Y/n countered.
"It's worth a try." Sam replied.
"No it's a stup-"
"ALRIGHT ENOUGH." Dean's loud voice boomed making her flinch a bit. "You need to stop, you hear me? This is our decision to make. We were chosen for this and last I checked the world doesn't revolve around you." Dean said directly looking at Y/n.
"Dean." Sam said trying to calm his brother but the older Winchester didn't waver.
"I suppose the decision has been made. We don't need your input. Either you help or you walk out. The door's that way." Dean said looking into her eyes, pointing towards the door.
"You watch what you're saying, boy."  Bobby spoke for the first time in a while. "Need I remind you this is my house." Dean looked away at Bobby's stern voice.
Y/n didn't speak nor did she breath, how could she. She felt as if her heart has been ripped out of her chest. She didn't cry, everything inside her wanted her to scream and yell. To breakdown and hope that its a terrible nightmare that would be over soon.
"Is this your final decision?" She asked the same question she asked him after everything with Alistair went down. A single teardrop slid down her cheek.
"Yes." Dean replied. Unnerving and firm in his decision. In that moment she knew it was over. Everything was over. At this point who was she even kidding, there was nothing to begin with. At his confirmation all she did was nod her head. And she made her way up to her to room. The main room fell silent as she left.
"Dean what the hell?" Sam exclaimed and Dean left the room without a word.
Y/n didn't come out of the room the whole day. Bobby couldn't go up to check on her and Sam didn't know if she wanted to see him. Dean however remained indifferent. Sam grabbed a beer from the fridge and went outside. He felt like he was going to suffocate inside. He sat on the hood of one of the many cars present at the yard. He heard footsteps and looked to see Y/n coming outside. She stopped in her tracks when she noticed Sam sitting there.
"Sorry I'll just go." She said softly before turning back.
"Y/n-" Sam called out to her. She turned to look at him. "Please stay." His voice was barely above a whisper.
"Sam-"
"Please." She nodded and made her way towards him and he helped her up. The two of them sat in silence. Dean saw Y/n and Sam talking, sitting on the hood of a car. He couldn't help but eavesdrop.
It was quiet for moment before Sam spoke, "I'm sorry." She didn't look at him nor did she say anything. "I'm sorry it came down to this. I wish things could've been different." She still didn't speak but looked at him. "I know it's hard for you to accept and i know if i were in your place I'd react the same way hell even worse. But you have to know this is my redemption, for what I did. I set him loose and I have to be the one to send him back."
"I understand Sam." Dean heard her say. "Truth is, I was being selfish, I didn't want to lose my best friend. I didn't want to lose my family, but the real truth is I realised that I never had one." She tucked her knees to her chest. "I found out the hard way but all in good time." She smiled even though she felt her heartstrings were seconds away from snapping.
Dean felt like his whole body was on fire as he heard her say that. He knew what he did, and he knew what he said. But he had to keep her away. He couldn't let her get hurt, so it doesn't matter if she walks away hating him. What matters is she walks away. Alive and Safe.
"That's not true Dean...he just... he didn't mean it. He's angry. He might not show it but the decision is affecting him too. He didn't mean any of it." Sam tried to explain.
"You and I both have been with him long enough to know he meant what he said." Y/n looked into Sam's eyes, her eyebrow raised and lips tugged upwards. Her face screamed are-you-really going-to-argue-you-know-i-am-right. Sam looked away because deep down, he knew Dean meant it. His posture, the way he spoke, it was familiar to him. "I assume this is goodbye?" Tears filled her eyes as she asked.
"I wish it wasn't." Sam replied pulling her into a bone crushing hug. Y/n was thankful that they were sitting so he didn't crush her stomach. However his hands were tightly wrapped around her shoulder and her's around his torso.
"I wish i knew what to say to make you stay." She sobbed in his chest. Sam couldn't help but let a few tears roll down down his cheeks and onto her hair. "Please don't go Sammy." She cried, her body shaking with intensity.
Dean wished he could join them, he wished he could comfort them both, he wished he could tell them that's all gonna be okay. But his feet were glued to ground. The only thing he wanted to do was protect his family. He failed to protect Sam but he knew he had to protect her so he made a decision and he's going to stick to it.
"I have to. But you have to promise me you'll take care of yourself yeah? You won't be reckless." He pulled away to look at her. "As much as I love you I have no desire to meet you on the other side anytime soon. You hear me?" He joked and it made her chuckle through her tears.
"Bold of you to assume I’m going to Hell.” She tried to joke but it only made her cry more. “I promise. I'll be safe." She sniffled as they pulled apart. "I'm leaving." She told him.
"What? Where?"
"I don't know." She shrugged.
Dean has never felt so broken before. The two people he loved the most in his life are leaving. And he can't do anything to stop either of them. Life has always been a losing game for him. But being ripped off of his family, all at once it was too much to bear. He didn't know how long he could hold on so he went inside. He couldn't hear it anymore.
A month has passed since Y/n left Bobby's house. Much to the older man's dismay. Last thing she knew before leaving that the boys were searching for Pestilence. She had been living in a motel room that she had booked for a month. She went to see a doctor as well, and found out she was three months along now. She was lost in thought staring at the ultrasound picture when her phone rang. Her heartbeat accelerated as she picked up the phone. It said Cas. She pondered whether to answer or not.
"Hello." Her voice shaky as she answered.
"We have the key." The angel spoke. "We're going to Detroit." He spoke.
"What do you want me to do Cas?" She asked, she hoped Dean had asked him to call her. She knew he was too stubborn to call herself but she hoped.
"I thought you'd want to know."
"Did they tell you to call me?"
"No. It was me." Her hopes were shattered.
"Alright Cas."
"Will you come?"
"No." With that she hung up. She couldn't go. What would she even do? Watch her best friend jump into the hell fire? She'd pass.
As Sam and Dean drove to Detroit, the tension in air was so thick they could cut it with a knife. Dean kept his focus on driving and Sam kept fidgeting with his fingers. He couldn't take it anymore.
"Dean." Sam turned to his brother.
"I'm not doing the goodbye crap." Dean replied without looking at Sam.
"You have to listen to me." Dean raised a brow and urged him to continue. "You have to promise me you won't try to bring me back." Sam said with urgency.
"What? I never agreed on anything like that."
"Dean. No, you have to promise me that you won't bring me back. You get out."
"Out?" Dean questioned.
"Out of Hunting, Dean, you go back Lisa. Live that life you always wanted to live. I just want you to be happy man, I hope by some miracle she takes you back."
"What about y/n?" Dean asked subtly.
"What about her? She left. I hope she's happy wherever she is. But I can't have you trying to find her." Sam said seriously.
"Why not?" Dean side eyed Sam.
"Because then you two will try to bring me back. I need you to get away from this life Dean. I need you to promise, you'll go back to Lisa and you'll live the apple pie life." Sam explained. "Don't try to find Y/n again, I just want you two to be happy. And if you two keep trying to bring me back, you won't get out of this life." Dean looked at his brother and his heart raced a thousand miles per hour. "Promise me Dean."
"I promise."
Y/n paced back and forth in her room. She can't seem to get it all out of her mind. Damn you Cas, she cursed grabbing her stuff and her car keys. She threw her things in the backseat and left for Detroit.
For Dean, it all happened in a blink of eye yet it felt like time had slowed down. They met up with Lucifer after Sam had chugged down all that demon blood. Sam said Yes which allowed Lucifer to get inside Sam's body. Dean threw the key at the wall and said the incantation to open the cage. He saw Sam fighting for power over his body but then Sam said the incantation to close the cage. He took the key off the wall and pocketed it. Lucifer had taken over and Sam was gone. They lost.
The war was going to happen and there’s nothing Dean could do. He had the power to keep it at bay but then the angels had brought in Adam and Micheal had taken over him. The war was now inevitable. Millions of people were going to die. Michael and Lucifer will fight in Sam and Adam's bodies.
Dean called Chuck to ask him if he saw what happened and Chuck said he did. The Winchester asked the latter if he saw the outcome of the war but he denied saying he couldn't see that far. But he told him he knew when and where it'll happen.
"Where Chuck?"
"Tomorrow high noon, at Stull Cemetery." Dean hung up and revved the engine to meet up with Cas and Bobby. He couldn't sit there and wait for a duel to happen between two angels. He had to do something.
Y/n drove as fast as she could to reach Detroit and she saw Cas calling. She answered the phone keeping her eyes on the road.
"Cas?"
"We lost."
"WHAT?" She stomped the brakes. A screeching sound was heard.
"Sam couldn't take over his body. Lucifer closed the cage and took the key. Michael and Lucifer will fight." Cas told her.
"Wait how? Dean said he'd never say yes to Michael.." Cas cut her off.
"They brought in Adam."
"You know your kind is a bunch of assholes?" Y/n growled.
"I know, I wish things..!" Cas stopped talking as he heard Dean calling his name.
"Cas.. Bobby." Dean said approaching the two. Cas didn't hang up just shoved his phone back inside his pocket.
"What's going on Dean?" Bobby asked.
"I'm going to stop this war." She heard Dean say.
"What? You don't even know where or when it will happen" Cas replied.
"I know. Tomorrow noon, stull cemetery."
"But it's not possible. It's Michael and Lucifer. You can't stop them." Cas said solemnly.
"I can't just sit here and wait for destruction. I know I can't stop them, but my brother's in there. I can try." Dean said getting into his car.
Stull cemetery, Noon.
Y/n repeated those words in her head and she stepped on the Gas. She had to be there. She arrived there at before anyone else did and hid behind the bushes. She saw Sam walk in the cemetery but it wasn't her Sam anymore it was Lucifer. She watched as Adam appeared out of nowhere. It wasn't Adam anymore it was Michael.. The two talked for a while their voices getting louder and then she saw The Impala driving in , music blaring from the speakers. Her heart squeezed at the sight of Dean.
"Hey. We need to talk." He said walking towards Sam/Lucifer.
"Dean, even for you, this is a whole mountain of stupid." Lucifer said.
"I'm not talking to you I'm talking to my brother." He replied.
"You're not a vessel anymore." Adam/Micheal said.
"I just need five minutes."
"You have no right to be here. You're no longer a part of this story." Michael walking towards Dean when Cas called out to him.
"Hey, ass-butt." And threw a molotov cocktail at Michael but it was made of holy fire, which made him disappear. This made Lucifer angry.
"Castiel, did you just Molotov my brother with holy fire?" Lucifer snarled at Castiel.
"No?" Cas answered, if it wasn't an apocalyptic situation Y/n would've laughed.
"No one dicks with Michael other than me." Lucifer said before disintegrating Cas to nothing.
Lucifer then moved towards Dean and grabbed him by the neck. Bobby shot at Lucifer to which he just flicked his hand and cracked Bobby's neck. Y/n couldn't just watch anymore. She jumped out from the bushes as Lucifer kept punching Dean. He threw him against the car and bashed his face with his bare hands.
"Dean." Y/n yelled as she ran towards him.
"Oh hello there darling." Lucifer said in a sickening voice. "I knew someone was missing when these two showed up. You were in Carthage weren't you?" He asked.
"Let him go." She said staring down at Lucifer. Dean was brutally beaten. His face was swollen and bloodied. His eyes were barely visible due to all the swelling on his face.
Lucifer threw Dean on the ground and he collided with the Impala. He groaned as he hit the car. He watched as Lucifer walked towards Y/n.
"Sammy don't do this please." She begged hoping he's in there listening.
"Sammy's not home darling." Lucifer snarled as he grabbed her by the neck. Pulling her off the ground. "You know I could've let you two live if you'd just stay away. I care about Sam and I know you two mean a lot to him. But you're so annoying, you two." Y/n gasped trying to get his hands off her.
"Sam please." She cried.
"Sammy." Dean groaned. "Let her go."
He looked at Dean and his gaze fell on the an action figure stuck in the Impala, something flashed in Lucifer's eyes and he let Y/n go. She gasped as she dropped to the ground. Coughing up as she tried to take as much air as she could. Lucifer looked at Dean and Y/n and the two looked back at him. It wasn't Lucifer. It was Sam. He immediately fished out the key from his pocket and threw it on the ground. He said the incantation to open the cage and it appeared on the floor. Sam turned to look back at Dean and Y/n. She was sobbing on the ground while Dean looked at Sam as if he was trying to remember his face. With one last look at his brother. Sam jumped. Michael reappeared trying to stop Sam from jumping in but he pulled him in too.
As soon as he jumped Cas came back to life. He pressed his two fingers to Bobby's head and brought him back to life. Castiel then walked to where Dean was and healed him completely.
"Cas, are you God?" Dean asked.
"That's a nice compliment but no." Cas replied. "But I believe he brought me back."
Dean nodded and looked around and saw Y/n still on the ground, sobbing. He turned back around and got into the Impala. He did what no one of them had expected. He drove off.

Oooooo yes. Oki it's a bucky/reader
Reader was an asset at the same time as bucky and her orders were to keep him safe at all costs, so even if it ends with her taking a bullet. So they've had an intense relationship and hydra being hydra uses it against both of them.
Fast forward to the snap, she doesn't get dusted and manages to escape hydra. She meets nat who helps with her trigger words. They don't fix her since shuri is gone but ends up tweaking it so she's really only listening to her handler- nat or bucky as that's a default lol.
Come to the blip and her and bucky reunite and he has some lingering winter solider tendencies when it comes to her and being protective af. So Sam being sam notices it and gives bucky shit. He snaps and essentially says that she reminds him of hydra and can't stand her.
So typical angst troupe. She avoids him until they get put on a mission and she gets triggered. So bucky ends up taking care of her. Can be smutty lol. Like any part of this can be used. Doesn't have to be the whole thing lol
a/n: Hope you don't mind I simplified it cus I think I'd need more than one part to write all of this properly!!!
Hope you enjoy reading this I put all of the angst into it 😅😅
Sorry this is so long 😅😅😅
MY FIRST REQUEST EVER!!!!
To forgive
pairing: bucky x exhydrasoldier!reader
summary: tension between you and Bucky is unbearable and when a misson goes wrong apologies are in order
warnings: f word couple of times / angst a lot of it
masterlist
_______________________________________
Sam actually doesn't know how he managed to get stuck with not one but two super soldiers who have a staring problem but this is his reality right now.
Recently you and Bucky have been staying with Sam since you two could not live with each other alone anymore.
Bucky became your roommate after everyone came back after the snap.
At that point you were 5 years free of Hydra and mostly recovered, you had been found by Natasha and she had helped you a lot and so has Steve. Steve already had experience watching his friend struggle with what had Hydra done and his heart ached seeing his friend in you. The same lost and broken expression made him sad.
They did everything they could, Natasha and Steve even bought you to Wakanda but without Shuri the progress was slow but it was still progres.
Steve before leaving talked to both you and Bucky and suggested you two could help each other out since there was no one else who could understand more what you two had lived through.
It had been good in theory but in practice it was not.
Buckys' recovery was way past yours, and it frustrated you, you were angry especially because you still had this need to protect Bucky at all times.
Being Hydras punching bag was not fun, you didn't blame Bucky it wasn't easy for him either but he was so precious to them that they needed someone to protect the most important asset. It wasn't like you were the only one, you just survived the longest. There had been many before you, who had been removed or just killed in a mission to protect The Winter Soldier.
To Bucky, you were just a reminder of the torture he had survived. Some nights neither of you slept because the same nightmares haunted you, and yet you didn't talk to each other.
You both remember very little about each other from your time in Hydra, the pain is the only thing you both remember so clearly.
It had become impossible to stay together the night when Bucky had a nightmare and you had tried to help, it was awful. That night when Bucky woke up he had thought he was back at Hydra because he saw you. He yelled and screamed and even attacked you, telling you to let him go, and you didn't even defend yourself immediately going back to your training with Hydra.
"Protect the asset no matter what. your life is not important, the winter soldier must be saved. Do not hurt the asset or you will be punished."
That night had changed everything. The weak friendship that you've had with Bucky vanished and all you ever did was fight.
"The dishes aren't washed princess."
"Can the Winter Soldier throw out the trash sometimes?
"Does princess need to be reminded to not use all the hot water."
Oh but the missions are the worst for everyone.
Sam started to bring a spray with him whenever you and Bucky even try to speak to each other because sometimes it is so unbearable that it could ruin the mission.
Sometimes against your wish you jump in to protect Bucky, the Hydra training instincts rooted deep inside you.
"You don't have to protect me!"
"I don't have a choice here asshole! If it were up to me I wouldn't care less if something happened to you!"
But when Bucky had jumped from an airplane without a parachute your heart had dropped. And it was not because your instincts had kicked in, you had watched the man you've been protecting many decades jump from an airplane that was like 30000ft in the air!
You put a parachute on you and brought one with you and jumped after him.
"Dumbass you forgot something!" you had yelled over the wind catching up to Bucky.
He'd ignored the parachute you tried to give him and left you to just watch him descend.
You have no idea how he survived but you were pissed off and were ready to kill him yourself.
"ARE YOU FUCKING INSANE? WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU JUMP WITHOUT A PARACHUTE!"
"WHY DO YOU CARE IT'S MY PROBLEM IF I JUMP OR NOT!"
"NOT IF YOU ASK ME! I LOST MY LIFE TO PROTECTING YOU AND YOU DO THAT! YOU'RE SO SELFISH!"
You had pushed him hard enough so he stumbled a bit but that's only because he didn't expect it. Bucky had also received a slap to the face which Sam might have enjoyed way too much. It had caused an actual fight between two of you and it took Sam 30 minutes to separate you. By the time you had to fight people you had come to fight in the first place you and Bucky already had battle wounds.
Tonight you're in Madripoor and the plan was that Bucky pretends to be The Winter Soldier, it made you nervous.
Sharon had give you a dress and some flat boots in case you needed to run, Bucky and Sam had received some very nice suits.
When you saw Bucky in a suit your heart flipped at the sight of him. You've never seen him in a suit before and you weren't sure how to feel about it. He looked handsome, it's not the first time you had that thought but usually there was annoyance clouding any other thoughts about Bucky.
When Bucky looked at you as you exited the room you were changing in his brain and heart malfunctioned. He'd never seen you in a dress before, you preferred clothes that covered your body completely - the scars on your body made you feel very insecure - Bucky was the same the more his body is cover the less attention he has on himself.
But God, have you taken his breath away. It isn't like he thinks you're ugly, you're gorgeous, and if you had known each other back when he was himself and before you had been brainwashed to protect him he would've loved to have taken you to a dance. Unfortunately your situation was too complicated and it had made it impossible for you two to have any kind of relationship not only romantic.
Bucky and you have a very awkward moment where you made eye contact and then quickly looked away. The tension in the room grew to a 100 real fast.
"So ugh about the plan." Sam coughs to fix the awkward vibe that has enveloped the room.
While Sam is explaining the plan you and Bucky glance at each other when the other isn't looking and Sam pretends not to notice.
The club is crowded and the atmosphere changes when people start to notice The Winter Soldier.
You're on edge the entire time.
Suddenly a fight begins but all you hear are the trigger words which do not affect Bucky but you're entirely a different story.
As Bucky was about to get punched you had jumped in front of him stopping the hit with your hands. You break the the guys hand and turn around to hit another big guy.
"Get out of here I will take care of this."
"No you won't."
And when you don't Bucky pulls you by your hand and you have no choice but to run with him.
When you finally arrive at a safe destination away from everyone who's trying to kill you Bucky turns to you.
"ARE YOU SERIOUS? WHAT HAPPENED IN THERE YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO WAIT! ARE YOU SO STUPID YOU CAN'T FOLLOW SIMPLE INTRUCTIONS?"
You only stare back at him not even blinking.
"Bucky stop she's not okay can't you see?" Sam puts a hand on Buckys shoulder backing him away from you.
"She fucked up she wasn't supposed to engage."
"Bucky look at her."
That's when Bucky notices that you're not looking at him you're looking at the floor, your hands behind you as if waiting for punishment.
And suddenly it clicks, your trigger words. Some of them were the same as his.
"I'm so sorry. I- I didn't notice I'm so sorry."
You stay in your place not moving an inch.
Bucky tries to touch you and at first you flinch, he doesn't know what to do - he hugs you, surpsing himself.
He stands there his arms tightly around you.
When you finally come back you start sobbing and Buckys heart breaks. He was supposed to know better.
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry I should've known I should've said it was a bad idea I'm sorry."
You're shaking in his arms and his heart breaks a little more with every whine.
It takes you 45 minutes to stop crying and that's only because you've exhausted yourself with crying.
Bucky carries you to a dodgy motel that him and Sam found. Your limp body in his arms makes him feel incredibly guilty. He feels awful, he'd been awful to you for months and you're right he's been selfish. Bucky can only hope you can forgive him.
You wake up with a headache the light coming through the window indicates that it's for sure not early morning. The sun is gentle and you can tell that sun is about to be gone. To the right of you there's a night stand and to the left is Bucky sleeping on a chair, sitting up.
You notice that you're in Buckys shirt and your pyjama pants.
"Hey."
You turn at Buckys voice.
"Hi."
"I'm sorry about last night I was out of line. I've been out of line for a while. And I'm really sorry I've put you in danger-"
"Bucky..."
"No I need to say this, please."
you nodd.
"There's so much I regret but I regret putting you in danger and giving you shit the most. I've done nothing to make your life easier I've only made it worse. And you were right I was selfish. I was in my head too much and you're the only person who completely understands what I've been through. Last night shouldn't have happened but I was stupid. I hope you can forgive me and I'll do everything in power for the rest of my life to make it up to you."
"Bucky... I-... What happened to us is not fair and we both did stuff we regret, I also wasn't fair to you. I'm not okay. I haven't been a while and last night wasn't your fault. I'm sorry too. I'm sorry for calling you The Winter Soldier and for hurting you purposely. And you have nothing to make up for nothing that happend is your fault."
Bucky and you stand in silence for a while each trying to process words and the situation you're in right now.
"Fucking Hydra."
Bucky breaks the ice with that statement and you both laugh.
"Bucky, could I ask you for a favour?"
"Anything."
"I haven't been well for a while and last night only showed how much I need help. I'd like to go to Wakanda so they get me in cryo to fix my brain. Please be there for me when they put me under and when they wake me up."
"I promise."
True to his word Bucky is there when they're preparing you for cryo.
"It's going to be okay. These people are the best they know what they're doing. Besides they had their experiment animal way before you!"
"Oh shut up..... Thank you Bucky. I'll see you when I wake up?"
He smiles and gives you a tender hug full of emotions but mostly love.
"I promise."
The last thing you see are Buckys blue eyes looking at you softly he doesn't let himself cry.
The next time you see Bucky is when your new life begins.

I have a idea for Amber and fem reader. They have been dating for two years and everything that happens in scream 5 but everyone suspects reader is the killer because she has not been attacked by ghostface. And before they found of ghostface they accuse reader saying that she’s ghostface because she hasn’t been attacked. And Amber goes I know after you said that and shoots Liv. Then I’m the kitchen scene Sam Gale and Sidney try to attack Amber but reader steps in front to protect her. They are all shocked but reader says oh no I’m not part of this I knew what they were doing but I don’t want you hurting my gf. Reader knows about Amber being ghostface and her plan with Richie but Amber wants her gf to stay out of it. And can you make reader Sam and Tara’s younger sister a few months younger then Tara? And go from there? You can change it up if you need! :) love your stories btw
Tumblr media
“WE CANT HAVE IT ALL NOT ANYMORE”
“Ok! So , y/n just expose yourself and say it’s you because we all know it’s you!” Mindy says
“Mindy cut the shit , it’s not her. Amber hadn’t been attacked or Liv so fuck off.” Tara replies
“So? Livs to dumb to kill anyone. And Amber well.. actually?” They all turn to Amber.
“Oh my god, are you kidding me? It’s obviously liv!! Why the fuck does she have blood on her hands!” Amber yells
“fuck you Amber! I’m not the fucking killer ! It’s your fucking girlfriend!!” Liv screams
“I know it’s not you. But I know it’s not her either.” Amber pulls a gun and shoots her right in the head.
You knew. You did but it still hurt.
Everyone ran.
“Y/n! Let’s go!” Tara said
You weren’t ghost face you didn’t hurt anyone but your weren’t leaving. You just gave her a sad look.
“Oh god” Tara cries and runs away.
Amber had practiced with you that when she revealed herself you were to go hide behind her. You did just that.
But then Sidney started beating your girlfriends ass and you didn’t like that.
You wanted her to stop , so you don’t know why you did it . You went in front of her.
“Stop! Please stop!” You yell at Gale. Amber pushes you out of the way to make sure your safe.
And you don’t know why you did it . It’s not like you were gonna actually do it. But you grabbed the gun Amber dropped and pointed it to Gale.
“It’s you? The other one?” Gale said confused
“N- n- no! I it’s not me! But just please stop !” You cried just then Sam must have came up behind you because you fell , you must have hit your head to. Because you woke up in the back of the car. Ambers car.
“We did it! We killed everyone! You distracted them! “ Amber said.
“Tara? Sam?” You whispered loud enough for her to hear it.
She went quiet.
“Sams dead. Tara’s not.” She moves and you see Tara in the back with you she’s not taped up or anything, she’s bawling her eyes out but she doesn’t seem like she’s really scared either.
“Figured you could keep this sister, but if she does something stupid I will have to kill her.” Amber says
You shook her head and went over to her.
“Why aren’t you doing anything?” You asked Tara. You weren’t mad you didn’t want her to do anything you wanted it to be you and Amber till the ends of the earth you were just confused.
“I already lost Sam, I get to keep you. I don’t want to lose myself . So I’m just gonna listen. “ she says blankly.
THIS HAS BEEN IN MY DRAFTS FOR DAYS I WILL PROBABLY RE DO IT LATER BECAUSE ITS TERRIBLE BUT I DONT REALLY CARE ITS NOT FINISHED EITHER I DIDN’T KNOW HOW TO WRAP IT UP BUT I FIGURED YALL CAN FEED OFF THIS FOR A MINUTE ITS ALSO POOR WRITING BUT I HAVE BEEN IN A WRITING SLUMP SO IDC

Dean Winchester x fem!reader
An: Thank you so much for requesting and following! I am so happy because you decided to give me a chance without me even posting yet! so thank you so much and i hope you enjoy :-) (For some effects, Dean is going to be 28 and the reader is gonna be 23, so pretty much Sam’s age)
Summary: You get jealous of Dean, he says some hurtful things but later on regrets it.
Warnings: A little angsty, some light fluff somewhere, annoyed reader
Word Count: Tbh? I lost count 😅 sorry!
Requests are Open!!
……………………………………………………………………………
One week earlier…
“Listen Dean, come on. I’m tired of having to fight in your shadow all the time.. Dear mother of Crowley! Bobby trained me, I have taken you AND Sam on and I’ve won. I got this. Its a simple salt and burn.” You say in hopes of softening this goddamn stubborn Winchester.
“Listen kid, I said no. That’s final.” He says firmly grabbing a slice of pie from the fridge. You scoff angrily strutting to your room. The bunker may be a little bit cold for a house but its home. You, Sam, Dean, all managed to actually make it cozy enough to be comfortable.
“SAAAAM, Deano is being an ass, per usual! and I’m not a kid! I’m only 5 years younger than you, Jerk!”. You scream at Dean slamming your door.
One week later..
That small but agitated fight was the start of a series. Everytime you bump into him its a goddamn fight and he won’t lose; you won’t either though so the fight continues.
“come on Dean, maybe she just feels a little left out, that’s all.” Sam says to Dean as he drives back to the bunker. Both of them in the Impala, just after a simple salt and burn in Wisconsin.
“She’s not ready yet, I’m not willing to let her or anyone else get hurt, much less for a hunt that we can do ourselves, Sammy. I can’t loser her too” Dean sighs as Sam looks at him knowing why he was being so hard on you. After a little bit they get to the bunker opening the door which was sealed and concealed with at least 20 sigils of protection.
They walk in as you greet them shyly. “Hey Dean.. so i found a case. It sounds like a ghost so I’d say its pretty easy and I was wondering if you wanted to go with me or of you’re not up for it I could go! You guys must be tired so i can get this one.” you say hopeful, wishing he would agree or even let you assist on the case.
The reason you won’t go alone is simply because you have no car, no fake id and minimal experience even though Bobby trained you, you were still pretty new to the game.
The next few events escalated pretty quickly.. Sam sits down groaning in annoyance. These type of fights were nothing short of new but he knew nor you or Dean would soon actually say or talk about the thing that its really important. You both might fight but he knows Dean would probably even hurt him if something happened to you. He was simply too protective but only because he’s in love with you, and you love him. Sammy has heard quite a few late night thoughts both from his brother and best friend but you and Dean are just too stubborn to admit anything to eachother.
“You are such an asshole Dean, seriously! I never get to do anything! you treat me like I’m some kind of kid all the goddamn time.” you scream pretty much exploding on him like never before.
“Acting this way won’t get you anywhere, KID.” He remarks his last words knowing it will only infuriate you more. You get all up on him even though he was much taller than you.
“First, I’m not a kid, Jerk. Second, I’m 23 goddam years old, i can do whatever i want.” You stomp your feet a little bit as he leans closer looking down at you a little bit intimidatingly. You look up at him as your mouth gapes a little in shock.
This was new for him. You blush a little bit but not backing down whatsoever.
“Go on.” He mutters at you as you shake your crazy thoughts. “I’m jealous Dean.. I want to do everything you and Sam do.. i mean you’re literal heroes. I want to be apart of this team and i know i will be a good asset.. please.” You say in a low tone looking at him, and vice versa.
“That’s nonsense Y/N, stop being stubborn and just do whatever you are meant to do which is stay here!”. he says quite harshly and loud as you gasp softly. “Dean!” Sam says shocked at his brothers words.
Your eyes water as you storm out of the room and going to yours and Sam follows you. A few minutes later you hear someone by the door. You sob quietly trying to be heard or scolded by Dean any more than he already does. Sam knocks on your door.
“Y/N? Can i come in?”. He says softly as you nod a little bit hugging your knees in bed.
He sits down besides you and sighs. “Listen, Dean means well, he just has a hard time expressing it.”
“I’m tired, Sammy.. all he does is put me down all the time..I love him Sammy and it hurts.. i just want to be like him and he won’t even give me a chance”. You mutter softly as he hugs you. “It’s gonna be okay.. I’m here”. He kisses your forehead as you nod gently hugging him back.
Dean was in the garage cleaning his guns, Sammy walks in as Dean looks up. “How is she?”
“Shaken up.” He says coldly as Dean scoffs. “You going to be mad too? what am I? the bad guy here? Come on, Sammy.”
“Come on what, Dean? You do this everytime she gets the courage to talk to you! I wouldn’t even be surprised if she left right now. She wants to be you Dean, she just wants your approval.” Sam sighs putting his hands in his front pant pockets.
“Not gonna happen.” Dean says cold as Sam scoffs and leaves.
Dean’s Pov:
Its been hours since the fight and its quiet. After Sammy came by I just went on about my day like usual but she hasn’t spoken to me all day..
Was I really that bad?
I stop by her bedroom’s door but regret it quite quickly and head to the kitchen to make some food.
Man, i must be the biggest Son of a Bitch of All. Why am I so scared of seeing her hurt? I’ve loved my share of woman but why is she so different? Why is it different? She’s annoying, a kid and.. she’s..perfect in every goddamn way. She bakes me pies everytime I get out of a bad hunt. She trains everyday but always waits for me to join. Hell, she even stays with me after a nightmare.
I love her and i treat her like hell everytime.. but its all to keep her safe, i would rather her hate me than something happens to her.
Dean heads to the room holding some flowers, he was kinda nervous since he knew he fucked up but he couldn’t take it anymore. It’s been 8 hours, 23 minutes and 27 seconds since you last spoke to him or even looked at him. It was killing him.
“Sweetheart? You in there? Can we talk?” He knocks softly on your door as you mumble a quiet come in. He walks in seeing you read on your bed. He walks to you and puts the flowers down.
“What do you want, Dean? I’m not really in the mood for your stupid remarks”. You spite out as he chuckles a bit at your reaction.
You frown. “You think this is a joke, don’t you? You always do this..” You scoff and stand up but he holds your wrist.
“Let me go Dean, i mean it”. You look at him as he stands up looking down at you.
“Can you just let me go I have to be somewhere around at-“. You were quickly cut off by his lips. He kisses you gently but passionately. You kiss back as the shock wears off and he holds your cheek gently. You both pull apart for a little bit as he smiles.
“I’m sorry for being a Dick.. I never meant to hurt your feelings. I don’t want to see you hurt even though I know you can probably kick my ass if you wanted to. The truth is.. I love you too much, i can’t.. I can’t lose you too Y/N”. He looks into your eyes as you gasp a little bit not expecting that at all. You quickly smile and kiss him again excitedly as he falls back into your bed.
“I love you too Jerk, I can’t believe it took you this long to figure it out. oh, and you’re forgiven but only if i get to drive Baby for the next three cases”. You say serious as he sighs and nods. “Its only fair, sweetheart”. He smiles and kisses you again.
……..……………………………………………………………………
That is the END, my Loves! Thank you so much for reading and I hope you enjoyed my first imagine and I hope I did justice to your request.

Quinn’s newest man of the evening had arrived, so she went to her room. Sam was upset that she’d invited someone who was basically a stranger to our apartment.
Sam brought out a few blankets and pillows for our friends. I was in the kitchen with Chad, Tara, and Mindy. We were all working to cook dinner.
“Sam, we do not have to stay here,” Mindy told her.
“Welp, too bad. I insist. Safety in numbers” Sam replied.
“This’ll be so fun. A little slumber party with the Alive Five!” Chad exclaimed.
“‘Alive Five’?” Sam asked.
“Yeah.”
Tara stared at him, “Did you just give us a nickname?”
Chad smiled, “I sure did. I mean we’ve been through a lot together and it’s a pretty cool nickname.”
“So true, Chad” I nod.
“That’s debatable,” Sam says.
“Extremely debatable,” Tara adds.
“You can’t just give yourself a nickname, dingus,” Mindy tells her brother.
Chad gives her a shit eating grin, “Of course I can, dingus, because I just did. Alive Five up top!”
“No.”
“Down low!”
Tara shakes her head, “Get that away from me.”
Chad turns to me and Sam with his hand, “Please, for the love of God.”
“Don’t do it,” Mindy laughs.
I obviously give him a high five, laughing evilly as my friends groan. I interlock my fingers with Chad’s and squeeze before letting go.
“You know, I would actually like a little more respect and support from my fellow members of the Alive Five.”
Anika interrupts us, “Guys, what the hell?” She turns up the TV as we file into the living room.
The newscaster starts talking about Sam being the lead suspect in the current murders. He discusses the rumors online about me and Sam being responsible for the killings last year. He said we were trying to “revive our fathers’ legacy” or some bullshit. The video of Sam yelling at that girl on the street the other night played.
Sam turned off the TV aggressively. She walked over to the dining table and sat by herself. Tara and I followed. We sat in silence until Tara spoke.
“I know you’re not a fan of the way that I’ve been handling things, and that I’ve been giving you a really hard time. But I can say that none of us can relate to what you are experiencing. And I’m really, really sorry you have to do that alone.”
Sam stifles tears, “It’s not your fault. And I know I shouldn’t care what people think,” she pauses, “It just sucks being this hated.”
“Hey, hey,” Chad says as he walks into the room with Mindy, “Just a reminder, not a single person in this room hates you.”
“Yeah, Sammy” I agree.
“Okay? We have all been through some fucked-up stuff, and we are coping with it differently. But you know we moved here together for one very specific reason.” Chad reminds Sam, “We’re a team.”
Mindy chimes in, “We are the Alive Fucking Five.”
“Thank you very much!”
“Ah, I hate myself.”
Chad and Mindy high five.
“Say it” I tell Tara.
“No, I’m not gonna say it,” she refuses, “I mean, yes, we are a team but-”
We’re all trying to get Tara to say it and we’re laughing.
Sam interrupts, “I’ve been sleeping with Cute Boy from across the hall.”
It’s quiet.
“Boom!”
We all erupt.
“I knew it, I knew it!”
“You called it.”
“Knew it from the day you had that hickey.”
After we calm down from Sam’s lover, Chad looks at me.
I gave him a suspicious look, “What?”
“Do you have any love affairs to confess?” he asks, wiggling his eyebrows.
“No?”
“Nothing with our tall, dorky friend?”
“Who may or may not be Ghostface” Mindy mumbles.
I look at the confused, “Ethan?”
“Yes, Ethan!” Chad bangs the table.
“No, I am not sleeping with Ethan!” my voice ups in pitch.
Chad gives me a look, “Hm.”
I argued with him about it. He claimed we’re too cuddly, so I rebudled that I’m cuddly in general. Sam backs me up by mentioning me in her bed last night. Mindy says I was flirting with him at the frat party because we were dancing. I said that I just wanted my friend to have fun. They let it go.
“I feel like we should high five or something,” Tara says.
“The Alive Five high five, please?”
“Don’t call it that.”
We all high five in the middle and interlace our fingers. For a minute I feel safe, I feel okay. It feels like a real family where I belong. Sam’s phone rings and it’s Cute Boy. We make fun of her for a moment and she declines his call. Quinn is heard moaning in the other room.
“Oh, my God, Quinn and her gentleman caller are back at it again” Tara jokes.
We all laugh as the moans and thuds get louder. All of our phones go off. We’ve been airdropped a picture of Quinn being attacked by Ghostface.
“Help! Stop!”
We all jump up from the table and sprint towards Quinn’s room. Chad grabs Tara’s arm and pulls her away before she gets to the door. We all stop and stare. It’s silent.
“Run.”
The door swings open and the killer throws Quinn’s body. Everyone is screaming.
“You guys come on!” Tara screams, running out with Chad. I watched Lucifer run out with them.
The killer slices Mindy’s arm. Anika starts fighting him from the floor. He grabs her by the throat. I watch her as she struggles to breathe.
“Hey, fuckhead!” I scream, kicking him in the side.
I trip over myself and hit the floor. I kick and scurry backwards as the killer crawls towards me. He grips my ankle and pulls me towards him. I kick my legs and shove his face away. He stabs me in my right thigh. I scream in pain and kick him in the face. The force makes him pull the knife out of me and step backwards.
Anika tries to latch onto him again. He grabs her by the throat and pins her to the wall. The knife is plunged into her stomach, he drags and twists it upwards. She cries and shrieks. Sam comes running in with the wooden knife holder and smacks him over the head.
We run into Tara’s room and lock the door. I grab a belt from the floor and a pen. Mindy grips her gaping wound. We remember that the bathroom connects through the rooms. Mindy rushes to close the bathroom door.
“Oh, fuck! That guy’s dead!”
The killer comes running at the door. Sam and Mindy force it shut and deadbolt it. I take the belt and pen and tighten them above my bleeding wound. I’m bleeding a lot. There’s a major artery that I’m worried has been severed. All the while, Mindy and Sam are blockading the door. Anika is practically bleeding out in front of me. We’re all screaming and crying and bleeding.
Cute Boy from across the hall calls out to Sam from the window. She rushes over. He pushes a ladder in between the two windows.
“You three go first. Mindy!” Sam yells.
“What? No. Someone needs to hold the door. I’ll send Y/n and Anika next. Go!” Mindy replies.
The killer bangs on the door. I can tell he’s throwing his whole body weight against the door.
Sam crosses the makeshift bridge as Danny sends words of encouragement.
“We’re losing a lot of blood!” I shout at Sam as I limp to the window.
Anika groans, “Say something more positive!”
Sam makes it across and I pull myself with my upper body across the ladder as fast as I can. I wince and whine, crying harder as my wound drags. I finally made it across. Anika forces Mindy to go next. She gives her one last kiss before crawling across to us.
Anika gets onto the ladder, “Oh, God! I can’t do it!” She slowly crawls.
The killer comes up to the window.
“Anika, you have to move now!”
I scream, “Come on, we got you!”
The killer grabs onto the ladder and shakes it vigorously, Anika shrieks and cries. She keeps trying to crawl as Mindy screams.
“Baby, I don’t want to die!” Anika yelps out. She takes Sam’s hand.
The killer completely knocks Anika off the ladder. She falls. We watch as her head crashes into the dumpster below, then hits the hard concrete. Her skull bleeds onto the pavement. I passed out.
When I come to, I’m in an ambulance. My leg is being stitched up. The EMT sees that I’m awake. The sun is starting to rise.
“Hey, that tourniquet was a good idea” The medic tells me, “You might’ve saved your life.”
I gulped and nodded. I see my friends in the ambulance across from me. They see me too. The medics, police officers, and crime scene investigators litter the place. I overhear multiple indistinct conversations.
I see Ethan duck under the crime scene tape. Chad sees him too.
“Chad?”
Chad rushes over to him. He grabs him by his collar, “Where were you?!”
Ethan is confused, “What? When?”
“Last night!”
I yell, “Chad, stop!”
“I had Econ. You know this!”
“Bullshit, man! You disappear, and my sister almost gets killed!”
“Chad!” I yelp, leaving the ambulance. The medic yells after me. I half-run over to the boys, my stitches tearing. “Chad, it wasn’t him!”
Chad looks at me, “How do you know that, Y/n? ‘Cause he’s your little boy toy? He couldn’t hurt you?”
I grip my thigh and wince, “Oh, fuck. No! Because I kicked that fucker in the fucking face! Ethan doesn’t even have a bruise! And whoever it was definitely has a broken nose.”
Chad lets Ethan go, he walks away.
I moan, using both my hands to squeeze my thigh. I start to cry and crumble to the floor.
Ethan grabs me, “Oh, fuck. Th-that’s a lot of blood. Oh, my God. Y/n!”
He helps me back over to the ambulance where they have to re-stitch me. I sob and hiss in pain. Ethan sits next to me. I grab his hand and squeeze it with all of my strength.
“Fuck!” I scream. I clench my teeth, my breath ragged. I sound like a kicked puppy. The adrenaline has worn off and now I’m just in agony.
“You’re gonna be okay,” Ethan whispered.
I couldn’t speak in anything but jumbled sobs. The medic was done stitching me, but I was still weeping. Ethan softly shushes me, pulling himself closer. I gulp and breathe heavily.
I looked into his eyes, “Ethan, it was so scary.” I wrap my arms around myself and fall forward onto him. His arms place themselves around me and I cry into his chest. “Oh, my God, they’re dead!”
“You’re okay,” he says softly, “I’m here. I’ve got you.”
“I don’t want to die.”
Ethan pulls back slightly, “Hey, look at me.” His hand meets my cheek, his thumb wipes tears. “You’re not going to die.” His tone is suddenly serious.
I shake my head, “You don’t know that.” I look at the ground and let more tears fall.
“I said look at me,” Ethan adjusts my face to look at him.
I tremble in his fingers. His eyes meet mine. He looks at me with the harshest expression I’ve ever seen on him. He puts his other hand on my face and says:
“Anyone who tries to kill you is dying first.”

Imagine child Ace and Deuce were the first one you met and they were fighting about something, could be Ace teasing Deuce then Deuce punched him and then they fight, you have to hold Deuce back because Ace was definitely losing, and since you have extra pennies to buy candies you treat them to ones but you'll only give it to them if they made up!
after few days of being friends you three come across a fiercy gray stray kitty, he scratched up Ace and Deuce so you call him Grim and you three begs (or steal) food from your home to feed it everyday
Jack comes next to your group, you met him through your elementary school and started hanging with him, Including Ace and Deuce, he does say you three are annoying but he never shoos you three and sometimes comes with you to feed the cats or just go play on the playground
another days come by, recess and you came across a cute girl... uhh climbing an apple tree? the three of you watched as she fell down and running up to her crying, apparently "she" was a boy and his name was Epel, he was trying to get the apple from the three because he forgot his lunch from his grandma and he is really hungry, in the end, all of you you shared some of your food from your lunches to him to prevent him from climbing up again.
next one is a meanie, his name was Sebek, he kept bullying you and following you around calling you "human" because he thinks he is smarter than you, your friends defended you from him (including the cat) which made him cry from guilt and run away from you all, you felt bad from making the crocodile boy cry so you follow him and you comfort him, then lead him to your friends to apologize.
AND JUST IMAGINE THIS!! (think like the main gang from omori)
All 5 of you walking home together following the leader sorta stuff (of course the leader was you), sleepovers at everyone's house (Sebek's room is filled with posters of what he calls "Amazing Malleus-Sama!!" which you assume is a cartoon character) and then going on Halloweens in your little costumes together!! you five would tell scary stories about each other idk sam the boogey man or something to scare each other and it mostly ends up with Ace scaring Deuce and then ends up paying for it, Jack , Epel, and Sebek would act tough like they're not scared but seconds later Ace would pop out behind their back and scaring them. PICNICS!! when someone fights at your group (usually Ace and Deuce) you are the one to settle them down with trinkets like candies or toys. when you all need to study for a test or do homework, Jack would teach you all but it ends up with all of you rough housing in the end, books and papers forgotten.
on weekends or summertimes where all of you are free, you play with them from morning to afternoon and when you get hungry, no worries!! Epel has a basket of apples to go! he always carry it with him whenever you all play outside, on the playground, the stony low water river, or catching bugs at the nearby outskirt forest. don't worry about even getting lost, Sebek's loud voice would always find your ears and all you need is follow it because he doesn't want to catch bugs since it's unbeing of a "soldier of Malleus" as he says. as Ace scare him with a beetle while running and screaming. afternoons when al of you need to go home, you all share sodas and ideas what to do next day tomorrow, and before some of the weekend or summertime ends all of you had a tradition to sleepover at one of you's houses.
OHHH HOW CUTE THAT IS ISN'T IT???? BUT THIS ALL MY HEAD GOT I LEAVE THE REST TO YOU GUYS, I JUST LOVE CHILDHOOD TROPE SO MUCH!! IT HAS ALOTS OF DYNAMIC AND ACTUAL TIME WHERE THE MC AND THEIR FRIENDS USUALLY BUILDS UP THEIR FRIENDSHIO OMG THATS ALL BYE!!!

Chapter 5: Strange Music
"So, what happened when was dead?" Dean turns the wheel, leaving the Montgomery house behind.
Sam sighs, "A lot... I wasn't handling things well, trying to bring you back, trying to get revenge, even if it killed me."
"Sammy,"
"I know, I know... I got too close and I couldn't win, couldn't get out and Ruby—"
"Ruby! ?"
"Yes, Dean, Ruby. She rescued me and convinced me to do some f-ed up stuff. You need power to go after something like Lilith. She had ways to get that power..."
"Sammy..."
"I don't want to tell you what I did. I will, if you really want me too..."
"I don't... how bad, Sam? Like bad bad? Like killing babies bad?"
"Like, rationalizable bad. Sort of bad that seems okay when you're not thinking super clearly. Not like killing babies bad."
"Alright... that's... I mean it's not good, but..."
"Yeah, and well, I was there, doing that for a few months, then... I got in over my head again. I don't know where Ruby was, she didn't show up. I got out, but it was close, and I was hurt, bad.
"Hospital bad, and that's where I met Jazz."
"You met your girlfriend in the hospital."
"We haven't labeled anything, Dean, she's not my girlfriend."
"Suuure she's not."
"Anyway the demon wasn't done with me, and showed up there and Jazz exercised it from her coworker and,"
"And a new woman saves you from yourself again."
Sam scoffs but doesn't deny it. "It wasn't just her. One day she insisted I take someone with me."
"Danny?"
"Sam."
Dean turned to look at his brother.
"First it was Samantha Manson, don't call her Samantha, then Tucker Foley, Valerie Gray. Then Danny. They all work differently, but all really differently than Dad. It was... something new, something interesting enough to distract from my suicide mission... and then they found out what I was doing…”
Dean can imagine it, even without specifics, he'd be furious.
"The first question was if I was okay.” Sam continued. Oh. “If I needed it to survive... Like I was Jack Montgomery, another monster trying my best to stay human... and they were only half wrong."
"Sammy… you're not a―"
"You said Mom made a deal, that actually makes a lot more sense than anything I could come up with..."
"What are you saying?"
"I'm not human in the same way I used to be..." Dean isn't sure how to respond to that. He wishes he wasn't driving so he didn't have to watch the road.
"What does that mean..."
"The" Sam sighs, "The ESP stuff, it was stronger then, because I was pushing it to be stronger. But when I stopped... it was like a combination of withdrawal and starvation… They wouldn't let me go cold turkey, the first attempt nearly killed me."
"So, what? You're dependent on some witchcraft now, Sammy?"
"Not witchcraft, no. And we're figuring it out."
"Figuring it out how?"
"Tracking and experimentation. They've got this whole lab thing,"
"You're you, Sam! You're not Jack, you're human!"
"I'm not, Dean. They did a DNA test and everything.” Sam snaps. “And maybe, maybe, if I'd been smarter back then it never would've manifested, maybe it started with the visions, I don't know! I just know that I have to live with it, okay?!"
Dean sighed. "You're not a monster."
"I'm a person." Sam asserted. And of course he is, but Dean doesn't like the way he said it, like one doesn't undo the other… But at the same time, he remembers holding the knife in his hand, he remembers using it. He remembers the screams, the begging. He remembers justifying the action because his victim was in hell too, and they must've done something to deserve it. Rationalizable bad, not like killing babies bad, but that didn't make it right.
"You are a person." Dean agrees.
---
The apartment building Sam has Dean park in front of is normal, sickeningly normal, the kind of normal that Sam's last girlfriend dripped in. Dean doesn't make a face. He knows how his brother gets about normal.
Somehow it didn't occur to him that he should worry about what it would be like if Jazz hung onto the same fantasy? Did she forbid talk of hunting at the dinner table and try to pretend, just like Sam had, that her past was a fiction?
He stepped towards the building.
"Dean." Sam asked, "Where are you going?"
He turns... he realizes they're just parking here because the world's most butchered RV is taking up the entire driveway. The building proudly labeled 'FENTONWORKS', the building with a friggin spaceship-satelight-bunker thing on the top of it, was obviously where they were going.
Dean looks up at the thing, wondering how in the world their neighbors haven't thrown a fit.
"Sammy, what. is. that?"
"That's the Op's center. It can be deployed into a blimp in emergencies."
" Really ?" What emergencies would require a blimp? How do you protect a blimp against the supernatural?
Sam sighs, "That's what they tell me, I am not entirely certain they aren't just messing with me."
"Uh-huh," Dean says, because if anything could deploy into an airship, it would be that. But a blimp ?
Sam pulls him along, insisting that they'll be more than happy to show him if he's interested. Dean wants to look at the RV, which up close looks more like it's been armor plated. And that can't be street legal, but it does look useful!
Sam doesn't bother knocking, and Dean's about to make a joke about how he and his girlfriend ‘haven't labeled anything,’ but then he realizes they're walking into some kind of weird lobby, not Jazz's house.
Okay, so they take the FentonWorks stuff seriously. Good to know...
"Welcome to FentonWork's how can I— oh, hey Sam. Glad you're not dead." He doesn't think the dark skinned woman at the counter is Danny's older sister. Like yes, adoption is a thing. But also her hair is short enough and the tank top and the durable looking jacket with a burn mark... the whole look screams 'I don't date men.' Which maybe could explain the not labeling… Yes, Dean knows this as a form of self defense. Yes, he did deserve it.
His first theory is confirmed when Sam greets her. "Hey, Val."
"Who's your friend?" She asks as they make their way to the counter.
"My brother."
"Dean? Or do you have more than one."
"Yeah, I'm Dean." He leans against the counter, testing his second theory. She spritzes him with water, from a squirt bottle, like he's a cat. He hasn't even said anything yet!
"We already did that." Sam tells her. Ah, holy water. This again. That made more sense.
She spritzes Sam for good measure. Was this just going to be their life now?
"Danny gave his stamp of approval." Dean tells her.
"Where is he then?"
Dean looked at Sam, Sam looked at him. Probably shouldn't mention the Coconut Vampires, right? Or did she already know about them?
The silence ticked past acceptable and into awkward. Dean wasn't answering this, Sam opened his mouth and closed it.
"Correct, answer." Val tells them, "It's not a great test, telling me isn't telling somebody else, but still, right answer."
"Right... is Jazz here?
"Upstairs,"
"Thanks Val,"
"Yeah, thanks Val," Dean smirks at her, she rolls her eyes. Turns back to... assembling a really big gun behind the counter. Huh.
Photos line the walls of the stairs. Childhood's of people Dean has never met... Sam points out some pictures, little Jazz plays with little Ellie, Danny with friends. It's sweet, and Dean wishes he could turn off the hunter in his mind, but he can't.
There is not a single family portrait. Sure there's a dozen group sibling photos, a lot more as they get older, there's a lot with friends, but there are no photos with their parents. There are several that look like the parents may have been physically cut out of the pictures. Again, Dean can't help but think of Sam, and his rocky relationship with Dad. They don't have a pretty wall of memories, but if they did... which would Sam remove?
The other thing is more subtle, and he only catches it because he's looking for things to make fun of the kid for. There are very few pictures with Danny and Ellie together. When he looks again its more obvious that something's off because Jazz ages consistently across the stairs but when he looks back it's like the middle child barely existed and when he does appear Ellie's pictures fade out. Until their early teens when all three show up.
There's a thousand possible explanations. So he doesn't ask, but he does wonder if changelings ever take the forms of entirely new kids. If Danny had fed from his parent's synovial fluid until finding some substitute and releasing the kid he'd replaced... Dean hadn't been around adult changelings enough to know if they could change the vibes of a room, but the younger ones could certainly be unsettling...
If he asked, would Danny tell him?
But Dean is sidetracked by the handful of pictures as they approach the top of the stairs. Sam is in the next few, grinning wide and happy, looking disgruntled over a card game, pointing a shotgun at a Thanksgiving turkey— Wait. What?
He looks to Sam who shakes his head with a laugh.
"They're going to get you with that prank too."
"What prank? It's a turkey!"
Sam laughs harder and tries to leave Dean in the stairway. "That doesn't make any sense. Sam! Get back here."
In the struggle, because he. did. Not. want. to fall for whatever the turkey prank was, he sorta forgot why they had come up the stairs... like he didn't forget forget. He just forgot enough to try to wrestle his brother to the ground in a strangers house and not see anything wrong with it until Sam says "Hi Jazz,"
She's tall, while her brother was a half-head shorter than Bobbie, Jazz is just slightly looking down on Sam. Even after he stands. Dean's brain sticks on it for a long moment. Enough time for her to hug Sam, kiss him on the cheek and turn to Dean.
"You must be Dean, I've heard a lot about you,"
"And you're Jazz," he greats, "I have not heard nearly enough!"
Jazz laughs, invites them over to the couch and puts away her book. And they talk, and they don't talk about hunting but they don't have to dance around it either. He can tell embarrassing stories about Sammy without having to explain why they were making their own silver bullets, and she can match them with stories of her own. The time for dinner rolls around and Sam-who's-not-Samantha appears to force Jazz and Sammy out of the kitchen, only to get completely sidetracked by the appearance of Tucker (who apparently is allowed to cook for visitors, but not at the same time as Sam #2). Val (who's name is Valerie it's unclear which he should call her) makes dinner while the pair argues. Danny shows up just in time to silence the food argument by threatening something about ectoplasm. Which everyone is in agreement. It is disgusting, why is he bringing it up in a conversation about food? They leap at the chance to explain old jokes, while leaving enough as mysteries to laugh at him not knowing, and two can play at that game because he and Sam have more than enough inside jokes.
At some point, Ellie calls Danny ‘template’ and throws a wrench in his changeling theory. Wasn't she the original? Her pictures are older. And he does ask her, and she laughs and laughs and does a bit about it that Danny gracefully plays into. It leaves Dean even less clear on what they are (and it is both of them, he couldn't tell you how he knows).
But he does know, just like he knew they'd return to Ellen and Jo and Ash at the Roadhouse, that even if Sam and Jazz never label things that they'll return to FentonWorks. He just hopes it doesn't end the same way.
---
In the morning, Dean's about to test if he can cook without getting shooed out of the kitchen… and there's this envelope.
It sits innocently on Jazz's table. Its bright pristine white stands in stark contrast to the yellowing books that surround it. It draws his attention from the other end of the room.
It's addressed to Daniel J. Fenton. The line below is not written in English, not written in any script Dean recognizes. (Which says something. No, he can't read most of those languages, or tell you what they are. But he'd recognize the symbols if he'd seen them before.) Jazz snatches it from the table and disappears down the hall without a word.
He doesn't think much of it, except to note that the paper must've been really white, because Jazz's books are not yellowing. Then, a minute later Danny is scrambling down the stairs, letter scrunched in his hand, still putting on his jacket. "Hi, Dean! Bye, Dean!"
Then he's out the door. Dean looks at Valerie who hasn't kicked him out of the kitchen, but is watching him like he's taking some sort of exam. He is unclear on if she lives here or not.
"Don't ask."
Dean doesn't ask either question.
---
"So, four people have gone missing in the last week, all from this neighborhood, all last seen around the same abandoned house." Sam tells him from the Impala's passenger seat.
They stayed for a few days, but Jazz had her residency, Danny had vanished and Valerie had either gone home or out on a hunt. Tucker and Sam-who-was-not-Samantha were still there, and he was unclear on where they lived too, but as comfortable as his brother is sharing space with them… they were strangers still.
Sam had noticed his discomfort, and they'd taken to the road again.
Dean looks over at this house, it was almost a small mansion, even if it had seen better days. "Sure looks old enough to have some ghosts."
---
They don their FBI disguises and make their way to the homes of the missing. The same story for the first three.
They "heard strange music." and decided to find it. The older man was furious at the local teens, he went to tell them off and disappeared. The next two, a mother and her 7 year old son.  The son had gone off first, entranced by the songs. His mother vanished shortly after going to look for him, following the music.  The forth was actually a musician, who tried for days to recreate what he heard, and after failure after failure he went looking for the source. The thing that confirms it's their business, the families, the roommates, they'd stand right next to the missing people and would hear nothing while the now-missing heard an impossible melody.
They're theorizing, the spirit of a conductor, Pied Piper, possibilities of land sirens, when they see the house with a cop car parked outside. The officer is already returning to it. They'll have to come back later to check but— Sam steps in the direction of the officer. He speaks before Dean can ask him what he's doing.
"Are you sectioned?" Sam asks the man.
"Who the—"
"Section 31, have you signed it?"
The man's eyes go wide. "No. Who are—"
"If there's someone in your department who has, put them on this."
"I... you think this is a weird one?"
"We do."
"I've only done interviews, I haven't seen—"
"We're not concerned with who has what paperwork. We just want this handled."
"You're not..."
"White jackets make good targets these days." Sam tells him. "You won't see that in the field anymore."
"Right..."
Then Sam asks him about the "strange music case." The information's nothing new, same tale as the others but with a new name and new reason but the officer doesn't question it when they start asking the weird things.
Dean looks at his brother, who doesn't need to be asked. "So, we found out about some stuff while you were in Hell."
"I gathered that!” Dean tries not to sound gleeful. That was so easy compared to normal.
"Turns out, the government isn't as in the dark as they seem to be."
"Sammy, if you're about to tell me that we could've avoided the whole fugitives thing..."
"Probably not, it's not exactly set up well... what happens, is if they encounter something that's our thing, they're basically made to sign this whole thing saying they won't ever talk about it. But it's just if they encounter something. Not if they beat it or know what it is, just if they witness it. But everyone knows that the things that make you sign it are dangerous. So, nobody wants to be involved with anything touching those cases. You walk into a scene asking if anyone is sectioned, and ask if they saw anything Weird ." Sam puts a careful emphasis on the word. "They tend to give you free reign."
"Do they all forget to check your ID?"
"No, but they don't get huffy about jurisdiction, and don't ask if you're crazy."
"That is useful ."
"Very. Though if they have a sectioned officer already it can be kinda hit or miss."
"Like they don't know what they're doing or..."
"Sometimes, or they think they do, or you have to wait for the body to be officially exhumed before you can salt and burn. Which is fine when you can put police tape around the haunting."
"Huh,"
"It's been different."
"You said something about white jackets?"
"Yeah, they tried to pull together this taskforce, a bunch of sectioned from all over. They wore white jackets, got nicknamed the Guys in White. It fell apart. There's not much to go off of. Everything concrete is in a highly classified document. Surviving members got sorted back into whatever agency made the most sense, but the rumors still float around. Mentioning it helps sell the story."
---
The house is old but well kept. It's empty and dusty, but there's no broken glass or other hazards that some abandoned places have. Not that it will necessarily stay that way if the spirit gets angry, but not having to worry about rolling onto a needle or broken bottle when you're dodging a falling light fixture: always preferable. On the downside, the house is big. There are lots of rooms with big closets and adjoining bathrooms, and hallways that snake around the building.
Sam yells, some point after another empty room comes up clean. "Dean!"
"You find something?!"
"Here! The garage."
Dean follows the direction of Sam's voice and finds the open door. The garage would be nice, clean concrete floors, a pegboard to hang everything up. But it was hard to look past the horror display in the middle of the room. It was hard to tear your eyes off it, so out of place in this space.
The horror is an ugly neon green and construction orange van with a splattered 'FENTONWORKS' on the side. It's a horrible van. Danny's horrible van.
"How did he find us?"
"I think he was here first..." Sam tried the handle, locked.
"So... where is he?"
Sam knocked loudly on the side. "Don't look at me like that. He might be asleep in there!"
"In the middle of a haunting?!"
"I don't know, he might be!"
Sam thought the kid might take a nap around a ghost. Dean... he really wishes he could refute that, but who knows, maybe the ghost already had its hug, cried things out and got sent through its mystery door?! Pounding on the van doesn't work, so they resort to breaking into it.
The van is weird on the inside too. Work equipment on one side, the kid's house on the other side, everything somehow both carefully organized and a chaotic mess. Dean can't tell the hunting stuff from the electrician stuff which is probably the point, but there's a cubby where the Kid sleeps and Dean understands a lot better why he didn't get his own room at the motel. The freezer is still running somehow, despite the vehicle being silent as the dead.
The longer he was in here the more he felt like he was intruding.
"What's this? Sam held up an envelope. The bright paper almost glowed in the dim light.
"I've seen that," Dean takes it, sure enough, it's the same envelope. "This was at Jazz's, she gave it to Danny and the kid ran out. She said not to ask."
"We should call her. Or Bobby?"
"Yeah."
They shuffle out of the van and freeze.
"Dean, do you hear that?"
"Yeah."
It was strange music.
And it was close, coming from the room they had left.
They turn to see light from what had been that had been dim at best, mumbled cacophony of voices overlapping from what had been silent.
They should run. They should break through the garage door and call Bobby. Dean doesn't dare suggest it, they've been invited after all, it would be rude to decline such an invitation.
The insanity of that thought hits him the second he's through the door, but the dealing with insanity in front of him is first. Its move or be crushed by the crowd. He almost trips over someone's tail. Tail? Someone has a tail. The twirling girl? to his right has skin the color of the sky and he's pushed against a tall being with four arms and fur. It huffs a sound Dean won't try to describe and keeps him from falling.
He moves, scooting through the dance's  movement trying to find Sam.
He cranes his head around but sees fabrics, scales, feathers, gemstones that follow inhuman dancers. Some of these people are flying on crystal wings! Some are just dancing as if the air was the floor. He can barely find the door they came from, let alone his brother in his distinctive not-eyeseeringly-colored Carhartt. But he can't focus on that and not getting crushed at the same time.
It would be easier if he could predict the beat of the music. It's rhythm shifts and changes and the monsters around him add their own notes. Light whistling from the little flying glowstick things, deep growls from the tall scaled people, several times one or another of the dancers will pull him along with them when he missteps. Theyl keep him from crushing the little things too. He didn't even realize they were there. It takes a minute to realize that they are steering him out of the dance. He'd be offended if he wasn't relieved.
Once free, he stands there and catches his breath and debates if it's worth making a salt circle. It might stop the transparent things, but he has no idea about the other monsters... and well, nothing has been directly threatening yet... and Dean thinks a circle of salt on the floor might offend some of them...
"Dean?" He turns, Sam is behind him. Thank all that is Holy and good. Actually Castiel probably fell into that and he hadn't helped at all so nevermind.
"Sammy, we found the Monster Mash."
" Dean ."
"Do you think that's the Graveyard Smash?"
"Other way around, the Mash is the dance."
"Really? Huh... what are you wearing?" When did he have time to change?! Where did he get the suit? It was nicer than their FBI disguises, and dark blue, and with flowers stitched around the buttons in a way that almost managed to not be girly. A matching leather strap hung Sammy's iron crowbar behind his back in a way that looked nice. Like crowbars were normal accessories to wear with suits, and not tools for breaking into buildings.
"What are you wearing?" Sammy shot back, and oh, hell no. He looked down, dreading a matching outfit. And, huh, he actually looked pretty cool, his jacket is longer, more of a coat... He looks kinda like a pirate in one of those movies, only less dirty and more like he planned on going to a party like this. His guns and knives hang from their own decorative belts, but he can reach them easily.
"We need to get out of here." Dean decides, the pattern on one of the belts changes. Just as he'd thought it looked too flowery, the flowers vanished and the leaves rewove themselves, pattern still pressed into leather.
"I don't know..."
"You don't know? What do you want to dance with a mermaid first?" The mermaid, swimming in midair, tipped her head at them. She waited, when they didn't respond she swam on.
"No, Dean, we just don't know if we can get back here. We need to find our people."
"How do we do that?"
---
They quickly learn not to lose sight of each other. The dance floor is not a set location. Dean doesn't know how these things know where they're supposed to stand if they want to talk, but they do. Dean shoves through the crowd. Sam's grip on his forearm is tight enough to bruise, but Dean's glad for it. He'll know if his brother lets go.
They have to force their way into the dining room. (They need to know the civilian's haven't become dinner. If these things are eating people, then they might just have to start a fire?)
There's no obvious signs. No bones sticking out or skulls for decoration. The food isn't right though, the radioactive looking dishes that make the normal stuff feel dangerous, and they still don't know where they are.
Sam lingers. Reaching for a plate.
"Dude, come on!
Sam shakes himself out of it. They leave that room immediately. Though they left through the same door, they exit into an entirely new wing of the house.
From there progress stagnated. Wondrous sites stop being wonderful quick when you're aware of exactly how trapped you are.
"We need a plan."
"The walls move, usual maze tactics aren't going to work..." Sam mutters... "Maybe we try asking?"
"Ask the monsters?"
"I mean, they haven't done anything yet..."
They argued, but it wasn't like Dean had a better idea.
They approach a woman made of flowing silvery material, lurking on the side of the main room.
"You're humans." She points out with more than a little suspicion. "I don't think I caught your names,"
Sam elbows him before he can elbow Sam. Yeah, that's a trap!
"You can call us humans, that works." The woman frowns. "We were actually wondering where the exit is...?"
"The party has only just begun," she says sweetly, her smile revealing the wrong number of teeth. Or maybethe right number of teeth for metalic people. "It would be rude to leave so soon, don't you think?"
Dean grips the handle of his knife, the iron knife, but he doesn't act, if it would be rude to leave, attacking her is definitely worse.
"Those are humans." Another creature joins their group. Its large animal features and white fur... it's a yeti, a yeti walks up and stares down at the silver lady. Dean grips the knife tighter.
"Yes, they do seem to be,"
"Were you returning them to their keeper?"
"Uh, I don't think we—" Sam started.
“Great One!” The Yeti bellows.
"I told you not to call me that!" Someone shouts back from a room away.
"Then what shall I call you instead? Peacebringer, Pariah's Bane, Keeper of Amity's Gate..." the list continued. The silver woman, apparently recognizing these names, flees onto the dance floor.
"Cracklepaw." The new figure slides down the stairs. And the yeti, Cracklepaw? shuts its mouth.
Danny also got the supernatural party upgrade too, only his are more medieval themed. Tunic and leather armor, long dark cloak that somebody dipped in glitter. Party also decided to bleach his hair for some reason, and Dean reaches up to check that nothing weird happened to his. (There's not, at least that he can tell.)
More importantly, he's got the missing kid on his back (he's wearing a very nice dinosaur costume) and the missing mother is trailing closely behind in sharp business casual.
"I only claim like, 10% of those names." He tells them, before realizing who they are. "Sam! Dean! How'd you guys get here?"
"Working a case." Dean says, like that wasn't obvious?
"This is not a case, this is a thinking building getting too ambitious." He pats the wall, "No offense."
The staircase he'd arrived on retreats. Danny catches the arm of the woman, keeping her from falling. No, Dean has no idea where it went.
"A thinking building." Sam repeats. That sounds a lot like something that should be a case to Dean. He doesn't say so, because he's not stupid and they've been trapped in here long enough without offending it, but if people are getting lost in here... yeah, it's a case.
"Yeah, it happens sometimes.”
“And the rest of this?!” Dean demands.
“Not the Autumn Court.” Danny says.
“Nor the Winter.” Cracklepaw says sadly.
“Only a few more months though,”
“Indeed! It will be the talk of the infinite! We have been planning for—”
The woman who wasn't missing anymore― Sarah, if Dean remembers right― clears her throat.
The Yeti turns its whole body, aghast at the interruption.
“Sorry, my bad, I was helping these two find the door.” Danny adds.
“Perhaps another time then,”
“Of course, and Cracklepaw,”
“Yes, Great One?”
Danny glares, “If they hold their party on the fringes of worlds, I will spend half the thing ducking out just like this one.”
“As is your nature,” the yeti allows. Danny bows, sending the kid on his back into giggles. Cracklepaw bows lower, and the Danny's face twists into exasperation.
“Right! Anyway, this way.” Danny gestures to the corridor Dean and his brother just left . “Are you guys staying? You know the rules?”
“Rules?” Sam asks
“We're not staying.”
“We're not staying.” Sam echos, they follow him through into another space pretending to be a normal hallway.
“I want to stay!” the little boy announces. And where the hallway was, there's now a wall. Dean half swears, but neatly turns it into the word fudge. Sarah? glares at him.
“You can't stay, you're going to your grandma's on Sunday.” Danny reminds the kid.
“Oh… can't they come here?”
“No… it would hurt grandma's hearing aids.” She lies. But the boy must believe it, because he pouts and the wall disappears.
They continue in silence through the next passages, though it isn't quiet. High notes are only slightly muffled as they sing of leaves turning and falling and rotting. The things that will devour the rot hum a deep harmony that twists and becomes the new song. The things that prepare for slumber will depart soon, and Dean is tired enough that he almost counts himself among them. He won't be able to sleep a full season, but he thinks he might try, and when he makes that choice the rhythm becomes easier to follow.
“So, there are rules to this place?” Sam asks, and Dean misses a step. He scowls, trying to figure out why Sam thought it was appropriate to interrupt… but… why he did he think it was inappropriate?
“Don't eat the food, don't drink the wine, but water should be fine.” Danny almost sings. “Give nothing your name, take nothing you can't give, and don't” he speaks fast to force the words into the rhythm. “make metaphysical bargains unless you're good at wordplay.”
He turns to look at them, and says normally. “They aren't demons, catch ‘em with a pun and they'll think it's so novel they won't bother with revenge, usually. Be nice about it.”
“So this place… it's fae― Fair folk!” Sam caught himself.
“That is a very broad term, Sam.” Danny might be warning.
“How do you know where we're going?”
“You can't tell?”
“How would I know?!”
“It's that way, isn't it?” Dean asks.
“Uh-huh.”
“How? Why didn't you say something?!”
“I couldn't earlier, just since the ‘get ready for hibernation’ verse started.”
“Big. Mood.” Danny interrupts whatever Sam was about to say. “I would love a nap right now.”
“Me too.” Sighs Sarah.
“No!” Screams the child, and again the house decides it's not having a guest forced to leave.
He hates it here.
――
The hibernation song ends and another begins. Dean can't place the words in the drumbeat, he catches enough to realize it's something about successfully avoiding hunters, and he no longer wonders why he can't grasp it.
The next is in the language of the trees and it makes so little sense that Dean loses his sense of direction again, but it's fine, because Danny apparently understands it.
The child redirects them twice and by the time the air fills with songs of dirt they've found the front door.
It opens easily, and the world goes silent as the dead. Dean turns, expecting to find everyone staring at them, furious and horrified that they'd leave so blatantly, but behind them is only an empty dark house.
“You can find your way home from here?”
“Yes.” The mother takes her child from Danny's back. “Should we do introductions now, or…”
“Probably not, it's influence lingers… go home, eat normal food, sleep, it will feel like a dream.”
“Right…” She doesn't linger, taking her son's hand and nearly dragging him away.
“They aren't the only ones.” Sam tells him.
“Oh, I know. I'm gonna spend the next week bargaining for some guy's name and the musician guy keeps trying to steal an instrument. It's a whole thing.” He complained. “ I’ve got it though, if you guys want to stay in the real?”
Dean was sure he wanted to leave, right up until he'd crossed back into the cold night air. His ears still rang with the emptiness that strange music should fill. Sam didn't answer tight away either.
“You're both Once-Dead it's your right.”
“No…  I’m good… Dean?” Sam looked at him, and Dean knew there'd be no judgment if he said yes.
“No.” He can't. He's human, he doesn't belong there.
"Once-Dead… is that… what you are?" Dean finally asks.
Danny laughs, “Oh, I’m much more dead than that. If you figure it out, let me know."
"Oh come on—"
"I'm serious. All I know is I died and I came back wrong. Died again, back again.”
"I've seen you handle salt, silver, iron."
"Cutting off my head and staking me into my coffin didn't do much either." Danny tells him, and Dean flinches. He knows that's what you do, but the idea of doing it to Danny... "Or cutting out my heart or other organs. The scars didn't even stick."
"Who?"
"My parents."
"Your parents." Dean repeats, thinking of his Dad's demon deal, of the time Sammy begged him to kill him because he was losing control to the demon possessing him. And Dean almost asks what Danny could've possibly done to deserve that. Almost, because Dean's never met the Fenton Parents and he knows what Danny does now. If there was an atrocity before, does that make a difference?
"Jazz dealt with them." Danny tells him, assuming Dean's silence is something else entirely.
"Good." Dean says, and he's not completely sure if he's telling the truth.

What are some hcs you have for the core four? Can be happy or whatever. Put them in the blender.
they're my babies i would NEVER blend them <333
i talk a lot about codependent carpenter sisters but the possibility of the entirety of the core four having some degree of codependency. they're bonded by blood dude, sam, tara, chad and mindy are each other's ride or die.
chad and mindy are the only ones who understand and aren't surprised by sam and tara's sibling antics, or how they telepathically get each other, because they're also like that.
sam and tara stay at the meeks-martin household for a while after scream 5, martha taking care of the four of them and acting as sort of a mother figure to the girls as well. it's the closest thing sam and tara ever got to a real mom, actually.
and whenever martha calls chad and mindy to ask how they're doing in NYC, she always checks in on sam and tara. how's little tar holding up? is she doing the leg exercises dr. thatcher told her to? and sammy? is she eating well? following her prescription?
core four (+ kirby) movie nights. they always let mindy or kirby pick when they settle for horror. tara is the queen of indie films. they never touch even ONE stab dvd.
anniversaries are hard for them. in the one year mark of the legacy killings, they avoid the news and decide to stay in for the day, knowing going out would be a nightmare. sam has to run to the pharmacy to buy their prescriptions, and gale makes sure to hire security to escort her to the store.
liv's birthdays are silent days; mindy and tara stuck to chad like a glue as he mourns his late girlfriend. he likes the company during these days - sam makes his favourite meal and they watch liv's favourite movies, always by each other's side.
amber's birthday? tara doesn't say a word for the entire day, locked inside her room. sam knocks on her door once or twice to check in and give her some water, knowing her sister won't want food. mindy texts her constantly and doesn't mind if she's left on read, or if tara's only responses are "i'm ok" or "bit a cookie". chad sneaks in to watch a rom-com with her at night, hugging her tight as tara all but sobs into his chest.
sam is used to going home to find the twins and tara on a cuddle pile on the couch, a blanket over their bodies, as they talk in hushed voices as a movie's playing on screen. they always have a spot saved for her, and tara, in particular, is always expectant of her older sister's body being pressed onto hers.
they rarely text in their groupchat, save for a few memes mindy finds and when they have nightmares. it's usually a quick "couldn't sleep" or "bad dream", followed by a huge description of what they dreamt. sometimes they call each other so they can talk before going back to bed. tara usually ends up in sam's bed during nightmare nights, and chad and mindy are the same way.
chad and tara's date nights sometime turn into a group hangout, and they never seem to mind - honestly, some of these nights are more fun when they're all together.

20 Q's for Fic Writers
I got tagged by @dp-marvel94! Thank you!
1. How many works do you have on Ao3?
I've just posted my 22nd work a few days ago!
2. What's your total Ao3 word count?
37,763
3. What fandoms do you write for?
So far, all my published fics are for Danny Phantom. It's a fandom that's near and dear to my heart and my favorite to write for. I've written fanfiction for myself in a lot of different fandoms over the years. Miraculous Ladybug, Mega Man (Star Force, Battle Network) and Fire Emblem are a few. (Will these ever see the light of day? Probs not, lol)
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?  5. Frayed Ends - 37 kudos - Jazz and Maddie are fighting more often. Jack wants to reach out and help his family. 4. The Same Blood - 45 kudos - Maddie and Jack try to help a sick girl that collapsed in front of their house. They don't know what to make of her condition. Danny wants to help.
3. Returned Home - 49 kudos - Maddie finds Danny at home after he disappeared ten months ago.
2. The Broken Pieces Left Behind - 66 kudos (tie) - Maddie knew what the portal did to Danny. If she could create something that essentially turned him into a ghost, she could figure out a way to fix all of it. Even if she hasn't made any progress in the past two months, she'll keep trying. She didn't account for what Danny wanted. 1 . What's Out of Out Control - 66 kudos (tie) - Danny thought he had it under control. He thought he could finally hang out like they used to always do. Tucker could feel the rift between them widening. It wasn't getting smaller anytime soon.
5. Do you respond to comments?
I try to! There were a few comments from my two earlier fics that I never responded to and it's already been so long and I feel like I ended up putting it off too long to say anything now 😓But I'm so so thankful for all the comments I receive! I never thought anyone would read my work, let alone comment on it. I'm always between two modes of 'author commentary' and 'screaming thank you and running away'.
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Lol, I love my angsty stuff and there are so many different flavors of angst, so it's hard to pick just one. I'd say the piece I aimed to write for Angst Fest, The Broken Pieces Left Behind, might be it. It ends on a rather hopeless note for the Fenton family that even I don't know how to make everything better for them
7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Probably Home for a Cat. It was for a Ectoberhaunt prompt that I was absolutely stumped on. So I decided someone was going to adopt a cat by the end of the fic.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
Ahh, so I actually posted a fic on FFN wayyy back when I was in high school. I remember it being received pretty well but I got a really rude comment on a simple spelling mistake. Back then, I was just told I had dyslexia a few years prior and I had some really bad self-esteem issues tied in with that. So, yeah, that comment basically made me terrified to ever show my work to anyone ever.
It's been over ten years since then and I wanted to actually get over that fear. I impulsively decided to do Angst Fest with the mindset that no one would even look at what I posted. Not only did people look, everyone has been so kind!!!
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
lkdajldkf, nope. I get flustered trying to write basic romance and having two characters hold hands, lmao. Major props to those that can, it's definitely a skill that takes time to master just like any other genre.
10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?
I haven't.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Also haven't had this either.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Nope, but it seems like a lot of fun.
14. What's your all-time favourite ship?
Back when the show was airing, Amethyst Ocean (Danny/Sam) was my go to. I'm a sucker for friends to lovers tropes and it's really nostalgic for me. But, I don't really read a lot of shippy things for Danny Phantom, so ships don't make or break a fic for me.
If I'm looking to read romance, the whole Love Square (MariChat my beloved) with Miraculous Ladybug will always be great. Even if I jumped ship on the show around season 2 or 3 and I have no clue what they're doing now, lol.
15. What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
I honestly have so many WIPs that are unfinished on my computer from over the years. Maybe a super old one that I titled 'Phantoms in the Daylight'. Angst once more with Character Death as the main pain point. I like the beginning but oh boy, does it get sloppy and confusing real quick. I'd need serious outlining energy put into it if I'd ever want to salvage it and I just don't have it in me.
16. What are your writing strengths?
Dialogue! Give me two blorbos and I'll make them talk forever.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Scenery and description. I love the dialogue portion so much that I end up running into the floating heads in an empty room problem in the first drafts of my fics. My first round of edits are dedicated to making sure I have a scene and grounding characters into it. And then I have to go back later to make it not feel so robotic sounding.
(Also a weakness but more as in fic than writing. Summaries and Titles. I stare at my drafts on AO3's editor for at least half an hour trying to pull something together, lol)
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
I can probably talk about this for hours, lol. I absolutely love foreign languages, especially when it comes to linguistics. So, I'll try to be brief, lmao. Short answer: depends on the fic but normally no. I already spend so much time fussing over the word choice/slang/formality/dialect characters use in my native language. I don't have a good enough grasp on another language for it to sound natural to the reader. ("They would not fucking say that" is my internal monologue during dialogue edits, lol)
19. First fandom you wrote for?
It's a toss up between Pokemon and Danny Phantom. I first learned about fanfiction from a friend who showed me FFN for the Pokemon fics. I looked around the site and found all of the Danny Phantom fics soon after and got hooked on those. I started writing around then and it would have been for one of those two.
20. Favorite fic you've written?
Hard to chose one! Writing technicality wise, I'm proud of how What Remains on the Table turned out. I consider description my weak point, so the original draft was 0 dialogue with very stiff descriptions. I was able to edit it to really practice my environmental storytelling. (Although, please mind the tags if you click the link as it does deal with the dissection topic)
I'm not sure who's been tagged and I'm not sure who writes fanfic, so @lavendarlily, @fangirlwriting-stories, @grub-xd, @nanaarchy and anyone else that wants to join!

How do you start out your stories? Or find a plot?
Hmm. Well, a few things usually need to happen. An absolute must is the character not only getting me to love them, but sparking something special in me. Let's take Scream for example, I love Sam, but there wasn't that spark, so, while she was available for request I never felt the desire to write a long story for her. Then there usually has to exist a plot reason like: this character deserved better in some way.
There are exceptions to this. Vada and Lorraine didn't really have that spark for me, and I'm fully aware that Jenna is a huge reason why I'll do stories for the two of them. I still like them as characters but I can't deny the effect she has on my feelings toward the characters. Guess that's the effect of familiarity, I've gotten emotionally attached to Tara especially, and Wednesday to an extent, and well, they are all played by Jenna. You get the point.
Anyway, I'm rambling. I need the spark and plot reason, and then I need the actual story plot, and it usually starts from one big point from which I start building things up. Take Lost as an example. It started as: I want Reader to protect Tara. And then that led to MMA, and that led to: R must be female, can't be gender neutral, can't be male, that would break the story. Then it led to R must be a bit older to have a career. That career must be a part of the reason for why they aren't together, so R must have a bigger reason than just the career to keep fighting even though Tara is against it. Zack gets created to provide that reason. Zack existing means R can't be from Woodsboro, since Tara would know about him. And so on. Then I start thinking about the plot, usually about what needs to happen and what the Reader character can do and how much do I want to break away from the main plot. So it's a bunch of 'yes to this, no to that' kind of deal. Lost as an example again. R can't be with Tara in the opening scene, the result of that is a story that completely deviates from Scream. Amber would get her ass kicked, Tara would know who tried to attack her, Amber probably lies to get Tara to go to Sam, a whole bunch of things happen and yeah, movie plot is completely broken. (This might be a Lost AU, or maybe a whole new Tara x Reader story, would any of you perhaps be interested?)
And that's how I have the basic plot in my head. Then I just figure out the details. What kind of person is Reader, how do the characters interact, so on. And then, with plot pretty much outlined from start to finish, or at least a good portion of the story, I sit down and write. Probably why I write as fast as I do when I have the time.
The issue with some characters is that I just struggle to get to an actual plot for them. Hence why, while I planned on doing Vada and Lorraine stories a long time ago, I just couldn't think of a plot worthy of being written, it just felt generic. Even now I don't think their stories will be longer than 5-6 chapters. And both plots are kind of a product of talking with ortegalvr, Vada from a request, Lorraine from me saying I can't figure out a plot and then saying what am I supposed to do (insert plot here) and it somehow actually made sense. So, yeah, sometimes plot just catches me by surprise. 😅😅
Thanks for the question, I enjoyed writing this, and I hope the answer was good enough. If anyone would like me to elaborate further on anything from this, don't be shy 😁😁

Origin Characters as Streamers
Shadowheart
Stardew Valley ✨QUEEN✨ (1000% romances either Haley, Abigail, or Sam)
Plays Minecraft on creative mode, she’s just here to make a cute house, have every animal, and frolic in a cherry blossom forest
Also enjoys cozy games like Spirit Farer, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Cozy Grove, etc.
Her and Karlach sometimes play co-op horror games like Panicore, Phasmophobia, Escape the Backrooms because everything makes her scream and Karlach laughs at her (affectionately)
Gale
Absolutely DESTROYS old men in online chess
Plays Minecraft on hard mode and also BODIES Mario Maker (he has created the most sinister, infuriating, maddening levels)
Was definitely a Sonic kid, he knows the games are terrible but they’re so nostalgic and he loves making fun of them
Always tries to have a nice time playing Mario Party with Wyll, Karlach, & Astarion and they always end up screaming at each other
On the other hand he also does relaxing Pokémon card opening streams and cooking streams with Tara (he’s totally unaware of the tiktok thirst edits of him in his apron)
Karlach
Queen of first person shooters like Fortnite and Apex Legends, her and Wyll are unbeatable in DOOM (2016)
She more so likes cute cozy games that she can sip hot cocoa and snuggle up with a teddy bear while playing
Plays old shitty ps2 games based on media that chat requests like Bratz: Forever Diamondz, Barbie Horse Adventures, and Monsters, Inc.
Loves racing games (she’s terrible at them)
Loves fucking around in GTA 5 (she’s so good at it)
Every now and then does ghost hunting streams with whoever’s available (Shadowheart’s clinging to her the whole time, Gale is giving a thorough breakdown of the history of the location, Astarion is covering up his fear by saying everything’s the wind while also clinging to her, Lae’zel is actually looking for a living person in the building to fight, Wyll is cracking jokes and isn’t scared at all until he sees a door move and him and Astarion are in the car in 0.02 seconds)
Astarion
Loves visual novel romance games like Dream Daddy, Monster Prom, Raptor Boyfriend, etc.
Like Karlach he loves cozy games that let him get in his white girl autumn mode (lights off, candles lit, snuggled under a blanket, pumpkin spice latte and apple cider donuts nearby)
Definitely DOESNT CRY when he plays emotionally charged games especially where a beloved character dies, especially if it’s an animal, no he’s not pausing the stream to cry he just has to go pee-!
His most popular stream was playing A Way Out with Gale (he’d go from threatening Gale’s life for not being in sync to making jokes about the characters being them and also gay)
Does cosplay making streams, sews all of his costumes himself
Lae’zel
Queen of survival games like Subnautica, Rust, DayZ, Raft
Loves hand to hand and melee combat games like Bloodborne, Dark Souls, Elden Ring, Dragon’s Dogma; specifically medieval setting games cuz she gets fully immersed and dives deep into character as a knight
She’s bad at racing games; Mario Kart with Wyll, Astarion, & Karlach usually ends with her threatening to dox Astarion
⚔️BLACKSMITHING STREAMS⚔️ most of her viewers for these streams are old men who deeply fear and respect her
Wyll
KING of first person shooters and racing games; Fortnite, Overwatch, PUBG, and Call of Duty ✨champion✨
Slays at Nascar Rumble for the ps2 he’s always got the chicken truck
Is a speed runner for sure and loves doing funky challenges like beating Zelda: BOTW without clothes or breaking the game to take Sidon to Gerudo Town (think PointCrow type challenge videos)
Also likes games with emotional plots like SOMA, Alan Wake, The First Tree, What Remains of Edith Finch, etc. and he will cry on camera
Loves playing two player games with Astarion like Shovel Knight, Snipperclips, Portal 2, and Overcooked

So I’ve only watched up to Scream 5 but I couldn’t resist writing a fic of Tara getting wrecked so sorry if this is inaccurate to Scream 6!
Tumblr media
Get Off The Couch
Lees: Tara, Sam (brief)
Lers: Sam, Tara (brief)
Warnings: Not Proofread, mentions of stabbing, Tickle Fic, foot tickles.
Summary: Tara’s a little shit and Sam tickles her for it
(Not a ship! DNI if you ship these two!)
——
After being stabbed over seven times, being reunited with your sister, learning horrifying information about your past and surviving the Ghostface killings, it was nice to just…relax. It was hard, Tara still got a lot of nightmares as did her sister, Sam’s scars were still visible and hadn’t fully healed but they were managing. It was a lot easier now that they were together.
Sam couldn’t move back in with her mom unfortunately but, against her better judgement, stayed in Woodsboro for her sister. She was staying in a small house that Tara visited so frequently it was hard to tell if she actually lived with her mom anymore. And deep down, she knew she wasn’t. The girl even had her own room in Sam’s house, upstairs which is where she currently was, fiddling around on her phone aimlessly. Eventually she sighed, too bored to stay on her own as she turned off her phone and made her way downstairs to bother see her sister.
She saw Sam in the living room, watching TV while she was splayed across the couch, like she owned the place (even though she did). The woman’s head was resting on one end of the couch, with her feet hanging over the other. She turned to face Tara as soon as she heard her coming down the stairs, still a little concerned over the girl whenever she saw her, silently relieved to see that she was okay. Tara wordlessly made her way to end of the couch, glancing at Sam expectantly until she finally asked, ‘What?’
‘Can’t you move over?’ Tara asked, though it was more like a smug demand. Sam’s head flopped down to the side, not staring at her sister anymore, finding the TV more important.
‘Nope, physically incapable of moving,’ she smirked to herself, even stretching her body out just a little more just to annoy Tara. Her sister just sighed, glancing at Sam from up to down as a small idea came into her mind. Being the youngest, she was always a victim of Sam’s tickle attacks when she was around and Sam was brutal. She was the most skilled, mean tickler that Tara had ever met, but Tara had never had the chance to get Sam back. Until now, given that her feet were conveniently stretched close to her hands. It was Sam’s own fault really, she thought, for being such an ass about this.
With another, almost frightful glance up to make sure her sister’s eyes were still glued to the TV, she raised her hands and quickly walked her fingers up Sam’s socked feet. The reaction was immediate, Sam bit down on her lip and only let a couple giggles out and yanked her legs back away from Tara’s mischievous fingers. She sat up, staring at her sister with a look that Tara recognised from when she was little.
‘You better start running.’
Was all Sam needed to say for Tara to take off in the opposite direction, speeding up as she heard her sister fly up off the coach. Her heart was already pounding out of her chest at the thought of getting t-worded (no, she’s not too flustered to say it) by her sister again. Despite her head start, Sam gained on her quickly, partly for revenge and partly because she missed tickling her little sister.
Suddenly, Sam’s hands snatched around Tara’s torso as she roughly started wiggling her fingers against Tara’s tummy.
‘Tickle, tickle, tickle!’ Sam teased in a high pitched tone, making Tara’s face go even redder. Why did she have to be a good tease as well?!
‘S-sahahahaham! W-Waihahahah-!!’ Tara tried to plead with her but it fell on deaf ears as Sam’s dexterous fingers only worked on her stomach more and more, playing the girl like a piano.
‘You really haven’t changed a bit from when you were a kid, you have all the same tickle spots, don’t you?’ Sam observed, smirking as she sinked her nail into Tara’s belly button which made the girl absolutely shriek. Tara was bouncing, wriggling and shaking about from side to side but her sister kept a tight grip on her from behind; with all her squirming, Tara’s knees began to get weaker and became too unstable to support her.
Luckily (or unluckily), Sam was still holding onto Tara and slowly, carefully lowered her down onto the ground, face down as she sat on her thighs. Tara began catching her breath, trying to hide her increasingly red face.
‘Tell a lie, I think you’ve gotten even more ticklish,’ Sam cooed, pinching the sides of Tara’s long sleeved shirt and pulling it up gently, leaving about half of her sides bare.
‘N-no, I haveheEHEHEHEN’T!!’ Tara’s desperate cry was cut off by a couple rapid squeezes to that delicate area on her sides, just above her hips. She immediately got squirmy again, smacking her hands against the floor as she tried to buck her sister off of her, to no avail.
‘What was that? Tara, honey, you’re laughing too much for me to understand you, you gotta use your words!’ Sam teased her, which only made Tara lose her voice even more, unable to form a response without stuttering.
‘P-PLEAHAHAHAHAAHASE!!’ She eventually forced out as Sam’s warm fingers began making their way up and down her sides, slipping under her shirt to scratch at the protected, sensitive areas just below her ribs.
Sam just smiled fondly at Tara screeched and thrashed like a maniac, unable to sit still. Her legs bucked and kicked out whenever Sam hit a particularly sensitive spot, which just encouraged her to target that spot even more.
‘This takes me back, you know, back when you were a kid and still afraid of the tickle monster. I think you’re still a liiittle scared of her, given how quickly you went running!’ Sam called her out but was genuinely enjoying herself, and she had a feeling Tara was as well. Sam began squeezing and clawing her fingers up and down Tara’s sides, vibrating against that oh so sensitive skin. Tara’s sides felt like a button that could make her squirm at will.
‘IHAHAAHAHT T-TIHAHAHAAHAHCKLES!!’ Tara screamed, getting a little caught up on the tword, which Sam noticed but decided to take pity on her and not being up. Tara was smiling from ear to ear at this point, her face feeling so, so warm from all of her blushing; her body shook with each bout of laughter Sam’s fingers would send her spiralling into.
‘Now, are you sorry for trying to tickle me?’ Her older sister asked while she scurried her nails up to Tara’s lowest set of ribs, wriggling around right underneath them.
‘Y-YEHEEHEHEHEHEHES!!’ Tara nodded desperately, pushing her arms and legs against the floor as she tried desperately to cope with her sister’s ravenous tickle attack.
The tickling slowed down for the most part as Sam dragged a single finger down Tara’s side, making her twitch and giggle softly. ‘Hmm…you know, I’m not sure if I believe you!’ She said, and suddenly pressed her fingertips against Tara’s hips before drilling into them, scraping her nails against the ticklish spot.
Tara exploded at that, the mostly calm girl immediately began thrashing around desperately to get away from her sister, arching her back while burying her blushing face in her arms.
‘IHAHAHAHAHAAHAH’M SAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHRRY!!!’ Tara pleaded again as tears of laughter pricked in her eyes through all the torment Sam made her endure for just a bit of tickling, looking just about at her breaking point.
Only then did Sam finally get off the girl’s thighs, pulling her shirt back down before standing up off the floor. Tara rolled onto her back and flopped back down to the floor, like a starfish. Tara took in long deep breaths, blinking away her tears as her face finally returned to a normal colour, not a bright burning red.
‘Good, now never try that again!’ Sam smiles happily, turning to leave and right as she was in the kitchen doorway, she heard Tara mumble, ‘..so mean..’
And with that, the tickle monster turned right back around.
‘Oh, I’m mean now, am I?’ Sam said, in a tone Tara also recognised from when she was a kid, meaning that she had fucked up. Sam approached her worn out sister, who tried to scramble back, not getting far before Sam grabbed her right ankle. She pulled Tara’s foot closer, sitting down cross legged on the floor, keeping a tight grip on her ankle as she faced Tara. The girl squeaked and felt her heart nearly stop, curling her toes in a futile attempt to save herself from the tickle monster.
‘Then, why don’t I show you how mean I can be?’ Sam whispered slowly, pinching the tip of Tara’s sock and pulling it off, letting it drop to the floor.
‘nononononono, youdonthavetodothAHAHAHAHAAHAHAT!!’ Tara’s fast, nervous rambling was cut off by Sam scribbling her nails on her arch, letting them scrape and wriggle against the skin.
‘You didn’t think I forgot where you were most ticklish, did I? I mean, you are just one walking tickle spot but your feet always had you screaming!’ Sam grinned widely while Tara thrashed around, a bit more freely this time. She tried to fight back one last time, kicking at Sam with her left foot but that backfired as Sam just grabbed her ankle again. Her big sister quickly got her into an ankle lock, while Tara sat up, a big smile still on her face.
‘Plehehase, you know that’s a b-bad spot!’ Tara begged her, reaching out her hand to Sam.
‘Aw, Tara, sweetie, if your gonna pretend you don’t like this, then you shouldn’t be all smiley and giggly!’ Sam reminded her, instantly making her blush get worse by tenfold. Barely giving her anytime to process, she ripped off Tara’s other sock and scribbled her free hand all over her feet, walking her nails all over then randomly just so Tara had no way of knowing where she’d be going next.
‘I-I DAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAN’T!!’ Tara tried to lie pitifully but it was hard to be taken seriously when you were a laughing mess.
‘Oh, sure you don’t, little miss giggles! Sure, you always get real squirmy but you never try to get away, you only ran because I told you to.’
Sam called her out as Tara buried her face in her arms, still kicking her legs but her feet wouldn’t budge, save for a few twitched that didn’t get her away from Sam’s fingers. Tears welled up in her eyes again as Sam scribbled at the centre of her soles, not moving to another spot at all. It felt like all the tickles were just building up in one spot, getting worse and worse and worse by the second.
‘FIHAHAHAHAHANE, I LIHHAHAHAAHAHKE IT!! JUHAAHAHAHAST STAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHPP!!’ The younger flailed her arms all about as tears spilled down her red cheeks, Sam just kept smirking, walking her fingers around Tara’s feet a bit more.
‘I already knew that, but thank you for admitting it! Now, am I mean?’
Sam said with the most shit-eating grin that almost made Tara explode right there, but she still seemed like she could take a little more.
‘NAHAHAHAAH, YOHAHAHAHAUR SAHAHAHAHA NIHAAHAHAHAHAHCE!!’
‘Really? Am I the bestest sister ever in the whole wide world?’
‘YEHEHEHEEHEHEHE, YOHAHAHAHAHAU ARE!!’
San hummed in delight at that, finally removing her fingers from Tara’s death spot and letting her ankles go. Tara caught her breath faster this time, putting her socks back on before Sam changed her mind. The girl began wiping the tears off her cheeks before she felt herself being picked up by Sam. She shuddered a little, but her fears were quickly put to rest as Sam cradled her in one arm, wiping Tara’s tears and brushing her messed up hair into place.
‘Don’t worry, Tara, I’m not gonna tickle you right now, you just seemed pretty tired after that.’ Sam admitted, making Tara smile softly as she clung into Sam.
‘Thank you..’ she mumbled as Sam brought them back to the couch, setting Tara down before sitting right next to her.
‘Just remember, if you try and tickle me again, I will not be that kind.’
Tara blushed and nodded, crossing her ankles. ‘Y-yeah, I weren’t planning on it!’ She smiled a little as she said it, and Sam could see a little bit of mischief in her eyes. Still, she decided not to comment on it.
‘Good, cause we don’t need another little tickle monster running around, I’m more then enough.’ Sam leaned back, as Tara turned to her.
‘Yeah, your a lot more then enough.’

Matter of Time
Tumblr media
Summary: Being the niece of Casey Becker makes you one of the biggest targets of the recent ghostface attacks. (Takes place during Scream 5 (2022))
Mindy Meeks-Martin x Becker!reader
Tumblr media
"It has to be part of an ongoing story line, even if the story shouldn't have been ongoing in the first place. New main characters, yes, but supported by and related to legacy characters. Not quite a reboot, not quite a sequel. Like the new Halloween, Saw, Terminator, Jurassic Park, Ghostbusters... fuck, even Star Wars! It always, always goes back to the original!" Mindy says as she gestures wildly with her arms.
"Are you telling me that I'm caught in the middle of fan-fucking-fiction?" Sam asks angerly.
"Not just in the middle, Sam. You're the star"
"So, not to put too fine a point on it, but, according to requel rules... who's next?" Chad's new girlfriend, Liv, questions.
"Going by the pattern, whoever it is has to be connected to someone that came before."
"I'm starting to regret coming here." Dewey admits.
"Jesus, my mom was a character in one of them"
"No one cares about the shitty inferior sequels, Wes. You're safe. With Randy as our uncle, though, you and I are probably screwed." Mindy admits gesturing between herself and Chad.
"Wait What?"
"What about me? Am I in danger?" You whisper. Your voice shaking at the mere thought of ghostface coming after you.
Mindy looks at you sadly before sighing; "With you being related to Casey Becker I'd say the chances of it happening to you are pretty high. I'm sorry babe, but we are all going to keep you safe. I'm not letting some coward in a mask come after you." Your girlfriend reassures you with a soft smile and gentle voice.
"Or you're the killer, and this whole elaborate monologue is just to cover your tracks." Richie says while glaring at Mindy.
"I think it's pretty clear who the killer is at this point." Your girlfriend admits confidently.
"Who?" Asks Sam.
"You... It makes perfect requel sense."
"That actually does make a lot of sense."
"Yeah."
"Fuck this." Sam says as she gets up off the couch and storms out the house.
Mindy shrugs her shoulders and sits down next to you as she wraps her arm around your shoulder and grabs your other hand.
"I mean it when I said that I'm not gonna let anything happen to you." You are not leaving me or Chad's sight got it?"
"I got it. Thanks again Mindy. This whole thing is just putting me and my parents on edge. We all knew it was just a matter of time before our family was targeted again. It just came sooner than we all thought."
"Hey. Everything is going to be all right. We're all going to get through this together and then run as far away from Woodsboro as we can get. Sound like a plan babe?
"Sounds like the perfect plan."

-The monster's gone, he's on the run
I have to let this scream 7 concept out because it's consuming my brain.
I think all of us have seen the theories about christina carpenter being the next ghostface, and i actually really like this idea.
Tw: My bad writing
-
The opening scene happens, a man that lives in the apartment next to sam and tara's gets killed by someone wearing a ghostface costume.
Sounds familiar, right?
But sam and tara didn't know this man. He was one of the people who believed those conspiracy theories about sam, and he tried to avoid her and tara as much as possible.
There were a bunch of other people getting killed by a new ghostface, but still, Tara and Sam didn't know any of them.
Maybe this time it doesn't have anything to do with them, it could be possible.
Sam comes home from work, and tara immediately notices something is wrong with her.
"How was work?" Tara asked, but she got no answer, sam was just staring blankly at her phone.
"Sam?" Tara tried again.
But when she got the same response as before, tara decided to approach her in a less gentle way.
Tara shoved her a little bit "SAM!", that seemed to finally distract the older girl from whatever she was looking on her phone.
"Tara jesus! When did you become so violent?"
Tara scoffed and walked away
"I've been trying to get your attention for the past 10 minutes. Were you looking at some stupid conspiracy theory about you again? You know it's not true, WE know the thru-"
"No it's not- not that. I- uh- i got a message from Mam- from christina, she says she's staying here in New york and she would like to talk to us"
Tara let out a laugh but noticed sam's serious expression. "You're not really considering it, right?"
Sam doesn't really want to have anything to do with that woman, but tara deserves to have a mother figure, and the only reason she doesn't have that anymore is because of her. It's always her fault. She knows that.
"Look- i know how it sounds but, we could try- she's our mother and-"
"Are you even listening to yourself right now? that woman brought both of us into this mess. How can you forgive her just like that? I don't understand you sam." Tara rushed into her room and slammed the door.
Is Tara being selfish? Yes maybe. But there's no way she's going to let christina hurt her or sam ever again.
She had already separated them once. This won't happen again.
Sam knocks on tara's door "tara? Please i just want to talk, i don't want to fight with you because of her"
A few minutes pass, and a defeated sam is about to go back into her own room.
"I don't want to fight with you either... not for her, and that's exactly why i don't want her in our life again" Tara says softly.
Sam holds Tara tightly, and that's all Tara needs to know that this time, it will be different.
-
Tara and Sam agreed to meet their mother at the park near blackmore University. It's a safe place, full of people, and maybe this will stop any possible fight between them and christina.
Tara is still very unsure about this, but sam looked hopeful and happy?
How much did sam really miss their mother?
So yes, it's safe to say, the only reason tara agreed to this, is sam.
Tara was lost in thoughts and didn't even notice christina standing a few feet ahead of them. She hasn't changed much from the last time she saw her.
She looks at sam standing next to her.
She looks nervous, and she's fidgeting with the hem of her jacket. That's weird, Her big sister used to be so confident all the times when they were younger.
How much has Sam changed in those 5 years? What turned Sam into a person that 8 years old Tara wouldn't even recognise?
Tara puts a comforting hand on her back, trying to calm her nerves. "Are you okay?"
Sam just gives tara a tight-lipped smile.
"Oh, here they are, my beautiful girls," Christina says, rushing to hug sam.
Sam didn't reciprocate the hug.
She went to give the youngest daughter a hug too, but tara took a step back. It was very visible that christina was taken aback by tara's coldness, but she brushed it off.
Did she really think it was that easy to gain her trust back? Maybe the Tara from a few years ago would've fallen into her mother's arms immediately.
But no.
Present Tara is better than that.
"So i think it's time for us to talk huh?"
-
Tara doesn't know how to feel about all of this. Christina is back into their life, and Sam is trusting her too much for her own liking.
Tara has only exchanged a few words with her.
Yes, she does feel like an asshole but there's something so wrong about all of this. She can't pinpoint what it is, but she is going to figure it out.
Sam, on the other hand, is being very welcoming. She even let christina into their apartment....
She barely let Danny in. And her boyfriend is definitely more trustworthy than that woman. What is going on in that head of hers?
"Sam, can we talk for a minute?"
"Yeah, sure. Mami, you can look around while Tara and I talk, okay?"
Tara didn't even wait for christina to answer, she pushed Sam into her room. "You brought her here? Seriously, Sam?"
Sam is avoiding tara's eyes. The floor seems to be so much more interesting
Was it always like this? Maybe they should change it, they could definitely find something better that fits the aesthe- Sam's thoughts were interrupted by her sister's angelic voice.
"SAMANTHA!"
"i- i thought- maybe it could've been a good idea to show her our place" sam says softly.
Tara looks at her suspiciously, Sam is lying.
"Thruth Sam. Now."
"Okay okay i- i want her to see that i can take care of you just fine, and that you don't live in a shitty place" now sam feels stupid, maybe this was actually a dumb idea.
And why is tara looking at her without saying a word? Did she fuck it all up again?
That's when she felt it, two delicate arms embracing her. "You don't have to prove anybody anything, and especially not to her, sam."
Sam feels like crying.
"You've done a better job at taking care of me in this last year than Christina has ever done her all life" tara adds.
Yeah, now sam is definitely crying.
-
What's worse than Christina coming back? Ghostface coming back.
Okay, maybe that's not worse because tara would prefer to be running away from a masked serial killer instead of being forced to stay under the same roof as her mother.
It turns out that the killings have started all over again, and unfortunately, Tara and Sam were wrong, it IS about them again.
Another ghostface was trying to kill them.
Mindy got hurt in her dorm room last night. Luckily, it seems like this ghostface isn't as strong as the others, and Mindy was able to overpower them.
And that's how Tara has found herself in this situation.
Sam got the incredible idea to let Christina sleep at their apartment because by her being their mother, it means that she could be a possible target.
And frankly, Tara couldn't care less, but it seems like her and sam are not on the same page when it comes to that woman.
"Tara, i promise you it's just for a few days- just until we catch this fucker" sam says laying her head in tara's lap.
Sam has been staying in Tara's room because she gave hers to Christina. And Tara doesn't mind, the older sister has been spending so much time with their mother that they barely had some time alone.
It almost feels like she's losing her all over again.
Tara has had enough.
"I don't know how any of this doesn't seem weird to you"
"What do you mean?"
"C'mon Sam! christina comes back, and the killings start all over again? Doesn't- Doesn't it sound strange?"
Sam looks at her like tara has just said the craziest thing ever, "You're probably overreacting, baby. i have this under control, okay?" She says, kissing tara's scarred hand.
Sam's words didn't reassure Tara at all.
And that's because Tara, being the observer she is, has noticed Christina gaining random bruises, and since Mindy's attack, she noticed how her mother was wincing at every small movement.
Now, that could be a coincidence. But tara doesn't believe in those anymore.
If Tara is right, then Sam is in even more danger than she anticipated. Her sister seems to have been completely brainwashed by that woman's lies.
-
Tara hasn't left christina out of her sight, and you know what she has found?
nothing.
Absolutely nothing.
Maybe she was overreacting. Maybe this was just fueled by her hatred for her mother.
Yeah that's what she thought.
Until Christina asked sam to pick something with her to her apartment.
At first tara didn't think anything of it.
But it's been an hour, and sam is not answering her phone.
'You're supposed to answer when i call'
that's what sam always says to her, but then she's the first one to not pick up her phone? It's pretty ironic, isn't it?
Tara decides it's been long enough.
She heads to christina's apartment, she doesn't actually have a plan, and that's concerning, considering she's probably walking into a trap.
Everything seems normal.
No blood-curling screams
No weird noises...
She knocks at christina's door only to find that it's already opened. Ah, that's where the weird part starts, huh?
"Sam? Christina? Is anybody here?"
And that's when she sees her.
Sam. Her Sam.
Unconscious on the floor with blood covering her white shirt. "Fuck, Sam? Wake up, wake up!"
Okay, okay, she can feel her pulse. Sam is alive. Her sister is alive.
Tara looks around to find something to use to put pressure on sam's bleeding wounds, but the only thing she finds is a - a very familiar- masked figure standing there.
Tara is panicking. What does she do now? She doesn't know how to do this without Sam.
But Sam is too vulnerable right now, and tara needs to protect her just like Sam has done numerous times with her.
Ghostface tilts their head at tara.
The masked killer is slowly getting closer and closer.
Tara sees the light of the voice changer under the robe turning red.
"What's the matter, Tara? Can't you remember your MOTHER?" Ghostface says, throwing the mask on the ground.
It's Christina.
Is Tara surprised? Of course not.
And quite honestly, Tara didn't expect this to happen that fast. She was expecting more action going on, not a boring reveal.
Very disappointing.
She raised an eyebrow at her mother, "Wow, i'm impressed. You couldn't even think of an original phrase? you had to quote the movies, really?"
"You've always been the sarcastic one in the family huh?, i see that hasn't changed" Christina says getting closer.
Tara is still covering sam's body with her own
"Stay the fuck back"
This seems to infuriate christina even more.
With a swift movement, she stabs tara in the thigh.
Tara could've moved away, she could've avoided getting stabbed, but there's no way she's giving christina the chance to get closer to her sister.
"You can calm down, i'm not gonna kill samantha... not yet, at least" Christina said, smirking
"What do you want from us then? I'm here, sam is here, what are you waiting for?"
"Oh sweet sweet Tara, i thought you were smarter than this!"
Tara has never seen her mother acting this insane, but i guess it runs in the family, doesn't it? And to think that everybody sees sam as the dangerous serial killer.
"You see tara, i suffered when your father left, i did. But both of you were too caught up with your own bullshit that you couldn't even care enough about your mother and when-"
"What the actual fuck are you talking abo-"
Christina pointed a knife at tara's jawline, pushing the tip enough to make it bleed. "i'm not fucking done talking, where are your manners?"
"When your sister left too, you didn't care about me, you went on with your life like nothing happened and you left your old mother dealing with a broken family. Does that seem fair to you, Tara?"
"Fuck you" tara spat.
"You were drunk all of the times, i was 13- I was a fucking kid, what did you want me to do? YOU should've been the one comforting me" Tara felt hot tears on her cheeks, and she was only getting more frustrated because she didn't want the woman standing in front of her to think she was weak.
Because Tara Carpenter was anything but that.
"Tara?"
Shit. Sam.
"Oh finally, now that you're awake, we can go to the fun part. You shouldn't be so worried about your sister Tara, and you know why?"
Tara was just staring at sam, and trying to give her reassurance through her eyes.
But how can you reassure someone that is about to get killed by their own mother?
"I expect an answer when i ask a question." Christina took this moment of distraction to stab tara in the stomach.
"TARA!" sam tried to get up but she was too weak from the bleeding.
Useless. Sam felt Useless.
Tara has been stabbed once too many times, the feeling of a blade entering your body is too well known to her. She's okay, she went through worse shit than this.
She reached sam's hand "i'm fine, trust me"
"Enlighten me Christina, why shouldn't i be worried?"
"I'm surprised you still haven't figured out my plan" christina laughs, and tara, more than ever, gets the urge to strangle her mother.
"You shouldn't worry about her because you're going to be the first one to die".
Christina switches her focus on the older daughter, "i am going to take her away from you, Samantha, just like you took away my family from me."
Tara giggles and that brings Chstina's attention back to her.
"That's a really boring plan, and very unoriginal too. All of these years of suffering, and you couldn't even come up with something better?" Tara noticed Sam looking at her worriedly.
Okay, Tara might not have had a plan initially, but she wasn't dumb. Before heading to christina's apartment, she went into sam's room and stole the knife they got at the shrine.
Yes, Billy Loomis knife.
"You know what, mom? This wouldn't have been a bad plan if you hadn't forgotten about a small detail"
"Huh?"
"That i'm just as fucked up as she is" Tara pulled the knife out of her back pocket and stabbed christina repeatedly.
Tara was not planning on stopping anytime soon.
She was feeling her mother's body losing life
how many stabs was she at?
30?
Maybe 40
"Tara, Tara, stop stop she's dead, it's over" sam was pulling tara off of christina's body.
Tara looked at the dead body laying under her, her face turned dark.
She stabbed her one last time.
"You were a shitty mother AND a shitty ghostface too" she pulled the knife out of her body and blood splattered all over her face.
-
A few days have passed.
Sam was okay.
Tara was okay.
It felt like the roles were reversed now, sam in the hospital bed, and tara sat in the chair next to her.
But it was over.
The monster is gone, and her sister is with her.
Tara was not afraid of monsters anymore.
