kurapika is committed to destroying himself from the inside, the fire that that threatens to consume his soul. he continues to chip away at his lifespan to pursue avenging his clan. that is his lifeline. it grounds him to his world. in order to remain committed to his aspirations, he isolates himself, rejecting any form of human comfort for he is a gilded weapon that needs no home. he must be a steadfast soldier with few attachments in order to retrieve all of the eyes of the kurta clan

then there's leorio. the healer not only just as as doctor but with the love he shows. his effervescent kindness that pulsates out of him, bathing one in a warm blanket. he does after all have "the kindest heartbeat of yorknew city." and that is because beneath all those layers of practiced selfishness, he at his core is selfless.

leorio will never give up even if kurapika scorns him and continues to ignore his calls. his outstretched hand will always be waiting for kurapika to interlace his finger's with his own. he cares. he will stoke the hearth and wait for him always.

no matter how kurapika tries to destroy himself and reject the world, leorio remains. how could he leave him? kurapika needs someone. he remains steadfast in his patience and loves him in spite of it all.

I’ve been dealing with a lot so I’m really enjoying this idea rn where it’s the bcs universe but nothing bad happens in this version of the story

Kim is your gf who loves you so dearly and thinks you’re the sweetest thing. She’s so pretty… holding your hand and spending a lovely day with you, you two get ice cream together on a sunny beautiful day, walking around..

Kim talks about her smart important lawyer stuff, lots of big words, things you don’t really get, however she’s so cute, you kiss her face and tell her so. She’s lovely.

you spend the whole day together and when you get home, after a quick shower (or not!) the two of you cuddle up in your blankets and get all snuggly and sleepy. you thank her for giving you a wonderful afternoon and evening, you tell her you love her… and she isn’t used to that yet, so she’s surprised but she speaks a soft “i love you too” and smiles… pressing a kiss to your forehead, or cheek.

And you hold each other, it’s so peaceful… her nice smell and her warmth are so wonderful and comforting to be surrounded by.

Summary:

Ava's cheeks are pink. She starts to go red when Bea’s hands start to wander, her eyes going wide when she feels a hand sliding into the back pocket of her jeans. “And here I was thinking you were a gentleman,” she laughs.

“Oh, I very much am,” Beatrice whispers, pressing her lips together and raising her eyebrows as she slides her down the back of her thigh.

“Really?” Ava laughs. “Because it kinda seems like you’re feeling me– oh.” She giggles when suddenly she’s swept off the ground and into strong arms, her legs wrapping easily around Bea’s waist.

“Really,” she murmurs, kissing the side of Ava’s head. She’s always lighter than Beatrice expects. Bea shivers when Ava kisses her pulse, when her hand presses between her shoulder blades to stay further upright. “Where to, madam?” she teases.

“How charming,” Ava laughs harder in return, her grin so obvious against Bea’s neck that she knows she’ll remember the feeling forever. “Just home is good.”

“Home it is, then,” she agrees. They’re the most beautiful two blocks Beatrice has ever walked: carrying Ava home.
