Not to sound kinda like the "yet you participate in society? Curious" character but I find it really like odd that there's t.erfs who obviously pull the "all men are inherently evil including children" shit & make it part of their personality but then they'll have their favorite male characters played by male actors in movies directed by men & written by men as their icon & talk about how much they love him like. I thought you said all men were evil?
advice i think we should tell children is that when adults say stuff like ‘now that i’m an adult i get really excited about stuff like coffee tables and bathrooms and rugs etc’ they don’t mean ‘and now i don’t care about blorbo and squimbus from my childhood tv shows anymore’ bc your average adult still loves all the same pop culture stuff they always did; they just have a greater appreciation for the mundane as well. growing up just means you can enjoy life twice as much now. you can get really excited about a new stuffed animal AND about a new kitchen sponge. peace and love
I don’t know who needs to hear this, but if you’re at a low point:
If you were a fictional man right now, there would be *at least* ten people if not a large portion of the fanbase that would call you their wet beast poor little meow meow
I never understand people who are like "I love this character but I hate this other one" and the two characters are best friends. Your favorite character loves them, that's THEIR blorbo, their little shit, their sun and stars, and you want to hate them?
I operate from a position of, "trust no politician, even when you like them, because no decent person ever wants to be one," so it is deeply fucking weird to see the way some people treat politicians like blorbos.
