Here’s the most popular from the poll! Surprised but excited to do this one! sorry if they are a bit short or lacking. Tried my best but busy with school stuff draining my motivation.

you were always rather chill about life, never one to dwell much on stress since you know that it will fade with time, as all things do. You've relived your life many times and share your knowledge as much as you can. This is your first life out of the water and you know that you're stronger than your jelly form, but you can't restart your life if things start to get difficult.

Your mer form has a large bell and the tendrils connecting to a small core, but the red core is more in the center of your abdomen rather than the bell. The small core looks like a small silhouette of your body this is what your consciousness moves to when you restart your life span.

Octavinelle

Azul: When he first heard of you and your chill and wise lifestyle he tried to get you to sign a few contracts. Was even more insistent once he realized that you were an immortal jellyfish mer. He could grow and gain power forever with your abilities! Was surprised at how he couldn't find anything that he really wanted in life. When he slipped and said he wanted to grow powerful forever with your abilities you said that immortality is not a gift, it's a responsibility. and Even with the knowledge and power you have now are hard to use when you start over. Having to become a child again and struggle to remember and control your body. He paled a bit at that knowledge. Having to relive being a weak little octo-looser? He would pass.

After his overblott, he would still invite you over to chat, but not to convince you to sign anything just to chat and gain insight and knowledge, maybe some lost spells too, just between friends. Doesn't understand how you can be so relaxed about things but happy and calmed when you are around. says your mer form is very pretty and likes your gentle glow in the darkness of the sea. tries his best to stay away from your stingers.

Jade: How fascinating. He is somewhat upset that you're so nonchalant about life and his lightly veiled threats don't phase you in the slightest. Once he discovers you're an immortal jellyfish mer he's asking lots of questions about how you restart your life and how vulnerable you are. Helps in trying to convince you to sign Azul's contracts and tries to test your patience. laughed when you accidentally stung him with your stingers, his slime makes him rather immune to stinging. Observes and asks many questions about your core. find you interesting and entertaining with how you just float through life.

Floyd: You're so weird. kinda boring too. he didn't really get why azul would want someone like you around until it was revealed that you're an immortal jelly. Now Floyd is interested. He tries to take a bite of you to see if you'll freak out or activate your restart when he did. You didn't and you just looked disappointed. Says you're no fun and that you're boring. You share some crazy stories and now he's interested again. Likes your stories and asks what it's like to restart and if being immortal is fun. Bonces and pokes your mer form bell and tried to grab your core a few times. Laughed when your stingers tickled him since the sting couldn't get through his slime. doesn't really bother you much but will demand ask for a story if you bump into each other. His nickname for you is "immortal jelly" or just "old jelly" if hes feeling particularly silly.

Diasomnia

Malleus: Enjoys your relaxed attitude and how you treat him like any other person. You both become very close friends especially once you reveal that you are an immortal jellyfish mer. Looks pleasantly surprised but is actually really happy to have a friend that can be by his side for the rest of his days. Inquires about how you function after restarting your life cycle. promises to protect you as you regrow to your adult stage if you ever do have to reset. You both enjoy learning and sharing stories of days of old. You both wear matching gargoyle-themed friendship bracelets that allow malleus to know if you're in trouble. he will happily defend you. he also finds your mer form fascinating and pretty. maybe one day he will show you his dragon form.

Lilia: What an interesting supprise! He's never met someone like you whose immortality was restarting one's life back to being a child/baby. He asks questions and is a bit sad you don't get surprised by his popping out of nowhere upside down. Shares his stories and older tales with you as you do with him. Silver and sebek are amazed at how much you both know. Lilia with ancient land history, and you with the ocean's ancient history. You both laugh and make old people jokes yet stay somewhat modern. Lilias is glad to have a friend other than another fae to live the rest of his long life with. comments on how nice your mer form is and how interesting your core is. Asks to see you reset one day. He promises to raise and protect you as you grow again.

Silver: He also has a fairly relaxed lifestyle but not really by choice. You often find him asleep and you stay nearby. You both talk about all kinds of things. When you reveal your immortal by restarting your life He asks what it's like. A bit sad at how lonely you've been most of your lifetimes but you never minded. You're happy to try new things and being on land is one you'll never forget. He's glad you're at peace with how you've lived and will continue to live. Admires your mer-form and your powerful stingers. finds you so beautiful, like something alien yet beautiful from a dream he had a long time ago.

Sebek: HATED your lax nature and how casually chatted to the young lord! he should be treated practically like a god, not some chum you bumped into on the street! Didnt take your advice for him seriously at first until Lilia and malleus chastise him for being so rude to their friend. Asks for your forgiveness and was surprised at how easily he was forgiven. loudly defends you when others make fun of how lax you are with life. Also loudly compliments your mer form and says it's just below the majesty of wakasamas greatest dragon form. You take that as a compliment. Fascinated at how you described your immortality and say it sounds annoying. it can be but you've learned to live with it, besides you get to be and act like a child even if you know better. Reminded him of Lilia and his pranks from that statement.

Here's the jelly! Isn't it so pretty? look at the mini jelly in the center! that is its core! The body collapses under stress and the core sinks to the bottom of the sea floor to grow a new jellyfish body.

Idia’s event SSR was for Gosmari n we got groom Idia

His card was dark, had mostly cool colors n generally had more of a gloomy aura than anything, even if the event wasn’t that gloomy itself. Black n blue were the very prominent main colors with some purple in there as well n was just generally dark, enhanced even more by the fact that the only lightings were from the floating candles, his hair, n the floor reflection. Even the cake was kinda dreary a bit, with the skulls lining a tier n just covered in white(? ? ?) n darker colored roses.

It just gives off a deathly melancholy feel n aura to it n honestly it just kinda fits with Idia n his character? ? ?? Like it just kinda captures that depressing atmosphere that is kinda inherent to him? ? ??

Ortho’s being the complete opposite of Idia’s

After reading your post on the Azul explaining that marriage contract post, I couldn't help but think of how the tweels would react to seeing people tease yuu about their "engagement" (I'm sure octavinelle students complained to their friends I the other dorm about the very loud mating happening) and some who don't believe it and are stupid enough to flirt with/bully Yuu.

Like Ace would tease them and say "should we call you Mx. Leech from now on?~" while Deuce is "WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?! BLINK TWICE IF THIS IS AGAINST YOUR WILL" and Grim wondering how they can use this to get more tuna

Meanwhile an idiot from Savannahclaw or Diasmonia approaches you and says something like "So your whoring yourself out to non-humans? When's my turn with the magicless bi-" then his body is found at the bottom of a lake somewhere the next day.

Oh, word gets around soooo quick, no matter how much the twins scare the dorm, Octavinelle students like to gossip. Besides, it's not like the tweels care, they want everyone to know that you're taken! Must be a merfolk thing, because you're trying to hide from the embarrassment of being known as the one who fucked not one, but both Leech twins.

You spend the entire first period ignoring Ace's jests and prodding, while Deuce continuously checked in. He wasn't convinced that you weren't swindled into a contract, please help calm him down, he looks like he's going to cry. Grim is actually disgusted, until he receives a platter of fancy tuna at lunch from an “anonymous” benefactor. Now he's down for anything as long as Jade and Floyd provide him with the most decedent seafood.

You eventually have to run an errand for Crowley during your study period, so you leave Grim with Jack to run it faster without the familiar's interruptions. That's when the scenario above happens:

You're cornered in a hallway by a small group of students, one from each dorm minus Octavinelle. They may gossip, but they certainly know better than the others. The group is jeering and whistling, a Scarabia and Diasomnia student reaching to pinch at your arms and thighs, while a Pomefiore cat beastman croons.

“Aw what's wrong? I thought you liked nonhumans? Huh, no? Well, then maybe you shouldn't have been such a whore for merman dick!”

A few more hands move to grab and push you, intending to take out their long festering anger with the twins on you instead. Intended is the key word here; two towering shadows cover you and the group when two pairs of hands reach for the group leader, the cat from Pomefiore. He screamed before being cut off by a crunch, collapsing on the ground as he groaned and clutched his ribs.

Floyd terrifying when angry, but it's not an unfamiliar sight. But Jade's always had a polite, soft expression. So seeing him with a blank face, but fury filled eyes was like looking into the eyes of the devil himself. Combined that with each other, the twins were like the antichrist given form in the shape of 6'2” sharped tooth mermen. Your mates made quick work of the group, growling insults and promising them that they're being much more merciful than they deserved.

After the whole ordeal, you find yourself being accompanied by Floyd draping his arm around your shoulders as you finish your task. Jade walked off, letting you know that he needed to make sure he reported back the students' behavior to their housewardens. Omitting their latest “scuffle” of course. They should consider themselves lucky that they only walked away with bruised ribs, black eyes, and only one hand and nose were broken! They really went easy!

Everyone knows not to mess with you after that. Everyone should know how protective nonhumans get over their humans, especially moray eels. The sharp teeth aren't for show, you know.

Since Azul’s mother divorced fairly early in Azul’s life, I would imagine that you would be Azul’s half-sibling born from his mother and stepfather. That doesn’t mean that Azul loves you any less.

He worked hard not only for himself, but for his younger sibling. Azul wanted to be someone who you can look up to. Someone strong, smart, successful, and most of all, admirable.

And he did a great job, because you can’t imagine anyone more amazing than your big brother Zuzu.

You managed to convince your parents to let you join their visit to NRC during their VDC festival. Even if Azul wasn’t involved with the competition itself, you always wanted to visit your big brother’s restaurant.

Imagine the merman’s surprise when he felt a pair of small hands pull on the edges of his coat. Your bright smile was brimming with joy seeing your brother get frazzled over your visit.

As much Azul wanted to entertain you, this time of year was an opportune time for business. He offered to let you stay in his big comfy office until he could find time for you.

However you refused, choosing to follow him around. Something you learned from Azul was unrelenting stubbornness, after all. You were content with grabbing hold of Azul's large coat as he walked suspiciously slower than usual. Another thing you learned from your dear brother? An itching desire for a good deal.

Your lovable charm was a hit with the customers who watched as you waddled after Azul, not quite used to feet yet. Nearby customers held in squeals as you wrapped yourself in your brother’s coat, watching Azul and mimicking the smiles and hand gestures that your brother was fond of, even pushing up the glasses you begged your parents to buy you, regardless if you needed them or not.

Enchanted, some of the customers requested a commemorative picture with you, which is where you took Azul’s skills for your practice.

“Hmm…if you buy Zuzu’s yummy drink, then I’ll take a picture. With a contract!”

With a poorly-made contract with messy ink splotches, you wore the biggest smile you could muster as you sent a thumbs-up to your brother, who couldn’t figure out if he should be absolutely flabbergasted or immensely proud.

“Naturally, I knew how adorable my baby octopus is. What kind of blind fool do you take me for?”

Floyd is the kind of brother where he loves you and protective of you but he’s still his mischievous self. Rather than being careful or responsible, Floyd is always happy to bring you to every shenanigan and adventure if you ask him nice enough. This made for some unforgettable memories (for better or for worse)

You learn so much from the spontaneous eel. For example, you learned that sharks can swim really fast when angry, but your big bro Floyd is faster, even when carrying you in his arms.

As teasing as he can be, you admired how strong and cool Floyd was, and was excited to hear stories about his life on land with Jade, especially about the stories of his new friends. You even have a notebook with pictures of specific sea creatures to keep track of the friends he made, because if your brother doesn’t bother with names, why should you? (terrible influence, he is)

Imagine your excitement when you had the chance to visit Floyd during one of his basketball games. You practiced all week walking with feet just so you could run like Floyd does across the court.

Unfortunately, the tall merman was in his less-cheerful moods during this particular game. Boredom quickly struck him mid-way into the game which caused confusion for the opposing team and great distress amongst the NRC Basketball players. Jamil was quick to call for a timeout as soon as he could as the team whispered and panicked over this predicament.

But the timeout gave you a perfect chance get your brother’s attention, waving your hands as you called out to the tall merman as Jade stood by you with a genuine smile. Your other brother was quite aware of the bond his two siblings have so he took the liberty of escorting you as you were sure to get lost on Sage’s Island.

“Floyd! Over here!” You yelled out in joy, wearing a jersey similar to your brother to show off your clear bias. But that wasn’t the only similarity you shared with the teal-haired menace.

Shimmering under the gymnasium’s lights, your earring clipped onto your right ear caught Floyd’s eyes immediately.

The day Floyd and Jade made their earrings from the scales of the sturgeon they fought, you cried when there wasn’t enough to make one for you to wear as well. You pouted and glared every time Floyd flaunted his accessory to you, but when you stopped reacting, he assumed that you'd gotten over it.

But holding onto your ear, the sturgeon scales of your earring was as dazzling as your proud grin.

“Look, Floyd! We all match!” Your smile rejuvenated Floyd’s mood, making the once-moody eel grin back. When did you get that? And how did you get it? Floyd’s mind was flooded with curious questions so he soon turned to his teammates with a sadistic smile.

“I’m gonna crush the competition today. I wanna wrap this up quick, so let’s get serious~”

And Floyd started to have fun again, at the expense of the poor visiting team. How unfortunate for them, but Floyd needed to finish the game so he could hang out with his precious family after all.

“Little eel, come with me. Your big bro is gonna show you something fun!”

As seen with his approach with Floyd, Jade is type to spoil his siblings. No matter how tall you get or how old you are, you are Jade’s precious little one, and Jade loves nothing more than to watch his cherished family have fun, regardless if nobody else is having fun in the process.

Jade is the cool older brother, someone who is calm and dependable. You always admired the way he could charm the masses with his suave words and gestures. In the sea or on land, no one is better than your brother (tied with Floyd)

No matter what anyone says, Jade is the kindest eel in the entire world. To the dismay of others, you started picking up little habits and hobbies of your idol. Your classmates were baffled by the odd terrarium filled with odd marine fungi and rocks you stole from the shores of the beach.

When the NRC’s annual Halloween event opened to the public, you were all too excited to see your brothers, especially Jade, to show off your small terrarium bowl. Once you and your family made it to the last day of the Halloween festival, you rushed to the room that your brothers were managing to greet them.

Unfortunately, you were unaware of the concerning issue of Magicam monsters the students were facing.

These rambunctious visitors, who cared little for anything, accidentally knocked you to the ground with your terrarium along with it. The glass bowl was broken into pieces, your hardwork spilling onto the once clean floor. The Magicam monsters offered nothing more than an insincere apology before immediately walking away, adding it wasn’t their fault they didn’t notice you.

Jade was passing by as he immediately recognized you at first glance. He was quick to scoop you up into his arms, a rare look of distress on his face as he tried to dry your teary face. “Little one, what’s the matter?”

You sniffled as you tried to explain what transpired, how you excitedly rushed to find him to show him your terrarium you worked hard on, which was currently a mess on the alchemy room floor.

Oh my, the merman thought. This won’t do. As an older brother, Jade felt a responsibility to teach you a very important lesson. One’s deeds does not go unrepaid in turn

Floyd and Azul had to shush you as you, a true Leech, giggled watching the looks of fear painted on the poor unfortunate souls as they ran for their lives out from the alchemy room, away from Jade’s especially frightening surprise appearance.

All for the fun of Halloween, of course. Not because they dared to do wrong to Jade’s dear little eel.

“You would like to play with me today? Of course, I cannot think of a better way to spend the day.”

BONUS Floyd and Jade’s Birthday Special

“Happy birthday, big brothers!” You screamed at the top of your lungs, throwing handfuls of confetti as high as you could to cover the pillars you call your siblings. The twins chuckled over your silliness, respectively giving their thanks.

“Thanks, kiddo!”

“Thank you, little one”

Smiling, you brought out another surprise. In your hidden hands, you held two small boxes, wrapped in ribbons matching the colors of your brothers’ dorm.

“Open them, quick!” Handing it over, your brothers obeyed your wishes. Afterall, you were the few in the world that the eels would willingly listen to.

Cradled carefully in cushioned cloth, a small keychain sat comfortably in the box. One for each brother, there was a glass sculpture of a moray eel attached to the keychain, one with a basketball by its side and the other with a cute mushroom.

Floyd and Jade stood in silence as they admired the gift, clearly made with them in mind. For the final surprise, you took out your phone where a matching keychain dangled from its case. However, your moray eel sculpture was decorated with two hearts, representing your brothers, next to it.

“I made it near the lava flows on the sea floors” you smiled brightly, hoping your brothers liked them. It was hard enough to try glass blowing but you had to find glass materials that work well underwater. But it was worth it. “I wanted to give you something to remind you of home. Where I’ll always be waiting for you two”

Needless to say, Floyd and Jade were satisfied with your gift. Even after you went home, Floyd was bragging about how adorable you were as he showed it off to everybody while Jade was suddenly pulling out his phone more than usual throughout the day, just to see your present every single time.

this is SO hard to answer, because so many of the characters are, like, those pet adoption ads that say "MUST STAY TOGETHER, CANNOT BE SEPARATED". it's all about the relationship dynamics! and I think everybody in the main cast is pretty neat, honestly; there isn't anyone who doesn't have something I really like about them. but if I haaaaad to choose...

Hearts - Trey, partly because I do like me a good Mom Friend™ character, and partly because he pretends like he's all sane and normal, right up until he does something to prove he's just as much of a dipshit as everyone else. you're not immune, sir.

Savana - BUFF 👏 TSUNDERE 👏 WEREWOLF 👏

Octa - this one took a lot of soul-searching, because I do feel like the Octatrio is at their very best when it's all three of them, especially when they're in full Ed Edd n Eddy mode. but in the end, Jade ekes out a win, because sometimes you get this Jade:

Scara - Kalim, my sweet little moron. such a good heart, so few braincells.

Pome - 90% of the time when Rook shows up, you know it's going to a be fun time watching a silly little man dance around and break into song for no reason and wax poetic about the beauty of, like, a chair. always a delight!

except every once in a while, he'll bust out something that is absolutely insane even by Twst standards:

this isn't a complaint, it's just. why is he like this. I want to study him under a microscope, except I'm afraid of what I might find.

Igni - MUST STAY TOGETHER! CANNOT BE SEPARATED! ...but I would probably go with Ortho, just because right now I'm pretty invested in his Learning Emotions story arc and looking forward to seeing it progress. he's a good boy who will post your cringe fanfic publicly if you annoy him

With grims help and the insistence of Ace, you discovered many different songs could bring out different emotions. with rock bringing rage, excitement, and energy. to lullabies putting people to sleep immediately. Happily basks in whatever music you sing, and shares what he feels for you. Your songs pulled him out of his shell that much more and he loves you so much for it.

Jade: Oya~ was the first to discover your unique ability when he was foraging for mushrooms near ramshackle, you were singing pop music from home and Jade could feel a sort of unnatural giddiness in his heart as he listened. Got some information from the first years about it. He cornered asked you if you would be alright with experimenting on your unique ability with him. At first, it was all business and curiosity about your ability, but as the weeks went by he found himself growing fond of your vocal abilities and how excited you were that you had some form of music. You bring out deeper emotions that Jade is not used to (I headcanon that jade is a sociopath, who doesn't feel emotions much). He starts to do smaller sessions with you and even joins in on your singing, even confessing his love for you through a song you introduced to him. You sing songs of nature and joy as you both hunt and forage in the mountain lovers club. He has hearts in his eyes as you sing and examine a mushroom, took a photo, and has it saved as his wallpaper. supported the idea of you singing in the lounge, he would happily accompany you on the stage if you're shy about it. Jade's favorite types of songs to hear from you are little jingles (they make him chuckle), love songs, any nature-themed songs, and smooth jazz.

Floyd: Calles you "humpback whale" they are known most often as the singing whale species. He finds it fitting for your nice voice and how it reaches and affects things and people around you. He LOVES to hear you sing and usually tries to sing along with you if he knows the song. Happily listens to you if it's a softer song. Recorded you singing a lullaby from the coral sea, he can't fall asleep without hearing it now. Loves to give you song ideas and will hype you to sing if you're shy about your abilities. He even starts to work on bettering his singing to see if he can have any effect on you like you do so much with him. If anyone dares to say anything negative against your voice you'll never see them again, or at least you won't see them out of a wheelchair. Happily pushes the idea of you singing in the lounge along with jade and Azul, just so he can hear you sing as he works.

Hey, remember the soulmate au by tiyoin(?) I recently read your post abt idia and Leona reacting to yuu being their mates, but I wanna take it a step further since I saw idias line abt the family curse (this has yandere implications so if it's not your cup of tea please feel free to just ignore, nothing is outright mentioned tho)

What if yuu has a family curse similar to the aishi family in yandere simulator? (It's been years since I touched the game so if the lore changed I'm basing it off of 2018 ish lore, just with my own twist) basically yes, yuu CAN feel emotions, they're just muted and barely there. Given the right conditions (like falling in love or spending time with friends) and/or antidepressants they'll basically be like any other person, without them it's like a less severe version of the aishi women pre-falling in love

So, afab ppl born in yuus family, once falling in love, start losing their sanities and adopt yandere like behavior (stalking, increasing rage and jealousy, willingness to murder, etc) unfortunately this means they usually die young (20s or 30s) how quickly/young they die is based on their willpower (resisting the urges) and when/if they fall in love (so someone falling in love for the first time in their 40s and having insane willpower, caving in 20 years later in their 60s has more luck than a 16 year old falling in love and caving in almost immediately). Unfortunately everyone is a carrier, men carry the gene and can pass it to their daughters, but it only presents in the women/afab ppl, so transfems won't be affected but transmascs will.

What if yuu fell in love already (in their own world) and has just been doing a really REALLY good job at Resisting The Urges™️. Like, sometimes they slip up and cave in to anger or get ridiculously jealous, but they try their hardest to tamp down the feelings. Yuu has sworn off falling in love (again) and has given up their dream of having a big family bc of the curse, they're even distancing themselves from their object of affection in an attempt to "be normal again" at the cost of their own sanity.

So yuu gets transported to twst, and without their darling, they have the chance to be normal again, assuming they can get past the initial panic frenzy. Then the soul bond is revealed and they just go "nope. Not this shit again" and spouts cryptic messages about a family curse and swearing off love. I'm pretty sure most of the boys would feel a bit hurt by that lmao

This is mostly made for idia since his segment is what sparked the idea in the first place, but which characters from most to least likely do you think would try to pursue mc and figure out the truth to leave them alone and try to move on? I personally can't see someone like kalim giving up on both but I think the octatrio would try to look for the truth but be 50/50 on pursuing yuu or dropping them like a hot potato. Idia I think would try to relate to yuu and try to pursue them, but I think he'd probably be a bit put off once yuu starts dropping hints about the curse (he's a weeb so it won't take long for him and maybe Ortho to put 2+2 together and figure out the curse)

so. uh. I got this ask when I first woke up and 1) very happy to hear from you Rose, always lovely to get a new ask and 2) yandere? sim? has lore? I did not think people actually played the game? help. i've fallen and misplaced my life alert. As a rule I don't really write for a Yuu who is just x character from y game/anime (it is in my rules) so while I was at work realizing I might be old I was trying to think of a way to do this that wasn't just yan sim (I wanted something properly gn) and I think I've got something? I am currently beating away the desire to info dump on you about the myth of Sigurd and Brunhilde (i could scream about that for hours oh god oh please i have written an actual au for that but efkjbekjrgbjrthnytrh) So here is the basic idea:

Yuu ran afoul of a witch in their world and was appropriately cursed. Given the myth I was inspired by I don't think Yuu did anything bad, but they still made the witch mad so they got cursed to lose all reason should they ever fall in love.

"You will be thine own destruction!" Cackles the witch and Yuu, who is actually normal unlike trey this person takes a deep breath and resigns themselves to researching a way to minimize the effects and maybe break it? They don't know they thought magic was fake until they thought they were just doing a favor for someone but turns out they pissed off Baba fucking Yaga.

They start to isolate themselves since they notice the curse starting to eat at them when they are around anyone the love; they consider going back to the witch and asking for further clarification but they can't seem to find them anywhere so they take some deep breaths and do their best to just be normal.

When they end up in Twisted Wonderland, and start feeling... weird. And it only gets worse when Crowley speculates that they might have been brought to Twisted Wonderland because they posses a soulbond.

And Yuu immediately freaks out because they don't want to kill anyone.

Now as for your question for who would try to pursue Yuu vs just leave them... well I don't really like writing un reciprocated feelings so I hesitate to say any of the cast would drop Yuu. In my au it isn't possible for soulbonds to not be reciprocated, and they are already sort of seen as a curse by mages so this... complication might not be normal but it isn't unexpected if that makes sense. Which would probably make Yuu swearing off love hurt even worse.

Kalim wouldn't want to abandon Yuu. Not ever, no matter how much of a danger they could be to him. Hell, he's willing to forgive people who are trying to poison him on the off chance they might regret it. But he is the heir of House Al-Asim, and I could see his dad paying someone to take Yuu out to keep his son safe. Something Jamil sees coming from a mile away and has to just keep quiet about. Something I can see Jamil feeling bad about, he might not like Kalim but you didn't ask for anything that happened to you. And yet the Asim's took your life from you anyway.

Have to disagree about the octatrio just a bit. Floyd would be into this. And so would Jade. But especially Floyd, oh hee hee ha ha his soul mate wants to kill him? Say less he is on his way to get his ass eat beat with an engagement ring in hand. Both he and Jade would be a little disappointed when the curse is broken and you aren't actively trying to kill him anymore... maybe you could try and poison him huh? Like old times?

I wrote 20 paper pages of soulbond au stuff for Azul so I will try to be brief here but... I don't think this situation would be one that made him try to break the bond. He has... complicated feelings about soulbonds already. If anything I could see him thinking he deserves this.

Now Idia. He's complicated. Pre-overblot he has given up on the concept of breaking his own curse, and I could see him feeling the same way about yours. Ortho on the other hand... even before he gets his soul he wants to help. After the overblot I can see Idia pursuing Yuu determined to find the truth and save them. Not that he wouldn't interact with them before that, he's a bit nihilistic so I can see him just making a bunch of jokes about the situation or promising to let Yuu kill him "after this next round." Or just straight up asking them to when he has to hit pity in one of his gachas. It's just cringe enough that it snaps Yuu out of the curse fog for long enough for the two of them to be normal around each other. And by normal I mean incredibly awkward

Yes yes!!!! I love the NRC and RSA rivalry thoughts omg!!! With Riddle, Trey, and Che'nya, I can imagine the latter always appearing at the worst moments. Maybe Trey's spending a day baking with you and it's such a serene, special moment that's promptly interrupted when Che'nya pops into existence and decides to give himself the role of taste-tester. Trey's thrown a little off balance after that. How can he possibly rizz you up if Che'nya's stealing your attention by juggling the silverware? He has his one parlor trick (paint the roses) and that's it. It's impressed you many times before, but how can he compete with the silliness that is Che'nya?

It's more fun to mess with Riddle, which is why Che'nya often comes to disturb him when he's with you. Che'nya loves to tease Riddle about you and Riddle will adamantly insist it's nothing. You're his friend, nothing more (a bad lie). Che'nya just smiles like he knows something Riddle doesn't. All of his teasing is lighthearted and good-natured; Che'nya wouldn't do anything truly mean to his friends. Although the game of love is slightly different than the game of friendship. And it's obvious all of them like you. Che'nya likes to push you and Riddle closer together when he's invisible and then appear at just the right moment to pretend like he's stumbled upon you and Riddle being so close and cute. T_T Riddle knows it's him every time, which makes it even worse when he begins to anticipate it. Sometimes he's relieved Che'nya gives him little pushes. Riddle couldn't muster the courage to confront his own feelings for you no matter how hard he tries, so sometimes Che'nya is an unintentional wingman.

And Rielle... he's too optimistic, which means no matter how many outings are sabotaged he'll continue to see the good in it. When the twins tip your boat over and you and Rielle end up having even more fun, they're nearly going insane. How is one merman so happy?! Why is he so optimistic? So many dates (Azul insists they're dates; he sees the way Rielle looks at you... >:( he knows.) have been ruined and yet Rielle never seems upset. Neither do you. It's even worse if the boat incident prompts Rielle to transform into his mer form so that he can better help you if you're a weak swimmer or don't know how to swim at all. Azul just cannot win no matter how hard he tries.

And then Rielle invites you to come to the Coral Sea with him and it's as if that inflicts the most damage upon the Octavinelle trio. T_T an entire week spent in the Coral Sea with Rielle, where you don't know much of mer customs and culture. An entire week. With Rielle. At the palace. With Rielle. Where you'll rely on him to show you around, to introduce you to other mers, to help you with communication and interaction. And you'll likely be given a temporary transformation potion so Rielle gets to see you in a mer form. It's the worst possible outcome when you say yes, seeming so excited. The trio are kicking themselves wondering why they didn't just invite you sooner. orz now they're going to spend a week in the Coral Sea because there's no way they're letting Rielle rizz you up under the sea (they genuinely fear it'll work ;;;).

I think only about half of the OBs we've experienced so far are widely known throughout the school (Jamil's is only known by Scarabia + the Octatrio, Vil's was also seemingly contained, Idia's happens in the presence of the other OB boys + Pomefiore trio, and no clue about Malleus's yet. Still, that's like... 3 OBs too many for how supposedly "rare" they are 💀

It had been satisfying to vent out your frustrations with Crowley in your submission to the paper's ask column. Even more satisfying would be seeing it publicized for the other students to take in.

You flipped through the pages, eagerly scanning for your entry. There it was, right on 13 (Lucky number, you scoffed).

Dear Concerned Student,

Rest assured that any and all instructors at Night Raven College are rigorously vetted, tested, and interviewed before they are granted tenure at this prestigious institution. There is no exchange of money, goods, or other shady under-the-table deals which would land a person a legitimate position at NRC. The very same goes for our headmaster, who is tasked with the critical task of overseeing the school's operations! Though he may not appear frightening at a glance, Headmaster Crowley wields great power to protect his school and its students—power which he yields at his discretion. He is not someone to be crossed.

In the future, please refrain from speculating on the topic of staff and their backgrounds, achievements and accomplishments, and/or character, be it here or at another similar arcane academy though light teasing of Royal Sword Academy is not entirely prohibited. Spreading rumors and partaking in gossip is most ill-fitting for one that has been gracious granted the opportunity of lifetime to study at NRC!
