Batfam Goes to See Hamilton (Thanks to Jason Todd)
note: based on the fact that i saw hamilton on broadway today!
So, Jason somehow managed to drag the entire Batfam to see Hamilton—because yes, Red Hood is a theater nerd, and apparently, none of them can say no when he’s excited about something. Here’s how it went down:
Jason Todd: Living for it. Jason knows all the lyrics by heart and is practically singing under his breath the whole time. He’s vibing hard to every song, mouthing along to My Shot like he’s in the show. You’d think he was a one-man standing ovation from the way he keeps reacting to every scene. He also goes full nerd mode explaining all the historical inaccuracies and why they don’t matter because the storytelling is incredible.
Bruce Wayne: Very confused, but engaged. He’s trying to get into it, but you can see the gears turning in his head, over-analyzing every political angle and historical context. He does appreciate the themes of legacy, sacrifice, and honor (classic Bruce). He might’ve even shed a few tears during It’s Quiet Uptown, but he’ll deny it forever.
Dick Grayson: Having the time of his life. Dick is the one clapping the loudest, laughing at all the jokes, and crying during the emotional songs. He’s completely caught up in the performance, and by the time The Room Where It Happens comes on, he’s all but bouncing in his seat. He also loves the choreography and probably made a mental note to learn the dances later.
Tim Drake: Secretly loving it but pretending to be indifferent. Tim walked in like he was only going to humor Jason, but by the end of Act 1, he’s fully invested. He tries to keep a straight face, but you can catch him mouthing the words to Wait for It and tapping his fingers during The Room Where It Happens. He’s obsessed with the way the show mixes history, strategy, and storytelling, and he’s definitely taking mental notes on things to google later for a deep dive into historical rabbit holes. After the show, he’s already re-watching bootleg clips on YouTube, but if anyone asks, he’ll just say, “It was fine.”
Damian Wayne: Not impressed. Damian doesn’t see the appeal. He’s sitting there with his arms crossed, giving side-eye to everyone clapping or singing along. “I could’ve done better,” he mutters after Guns and Ships, but you catch him tapping his foot during Yorktown, and he seems unusually focused during the duel scenes. Maybe it’s growing on him… but he’ll never admit it.
Stephanie Brown: Living her best life. Steph is totally into it. She’s laughing at all the jokes, especially King George’s bits, and probably even got Bruce to crack a smile. She’s belting out Helpless and Satisfied in her seat and whispering excitedly to Cass about how they should come back for the next performance. She’s already planning a Hamilton-themed karaoke night after.
Cassandra Cain: Loving the energy. Cass isn’t much for words, but she’s totally feeling the performance. The choreography and intensity of the actors keep her fully engaged. She’s watching every movement with laser focus, and you can see her appreciating the way the actors tell the story through body language. She’s not super vocal about it, but afterward, she signs to Jason that it was “powerful.”
Duke Thomas: Totally into the music. Duke is all about the beats and rhythm. He’s vibing in his seat, really feeling the music and lyrics. You catch him nodding along during Wait for It and The Room Where It Happens, and he’s probably already added the soundtrack to his Spotify. He’s impressed by the storytelling through music and keeps shooting Jason looks like, “Okay, you were right—this is awesome.”
At the end of the show, Jason’s the first to stand up, clapping like his life depends on it, and despite the varied reactions, everyone else follows suit.

tim gets injured and assigned to bedrest except he, on principle of being tim drake, refuses to stay in bed, so it's just an entire week of the batfam chasing him down and dragging him back to bed when they inevitably find him in the cave working on a case. i want like a bugs bunny comedy vibe like.
dick patting himself on the back for finally tucking tim back into bed, only to turn around and there's tim click-clacking away on the batcomputer again, god fucking dammit
steph straight up tries to bribe tim. he took the bribe and did not break eye contact as he rolled out of bed and stepped out of his room
damian getting titus to sit on tim and it works for half an hour, but only because tim is severely sleep deprived and he passed out for a bit
jason rolling tim into a blanket burrito and swaddling him like a baby, haha baby bird, stay put. which takes tim over an hour to get out of. tim doesn't appear in the batcave so jason thought he'd won, but only because tim was too busy fucking up jason's room as revenge
duke (smart) watched the proceedings of the above and gladly helped to open the door for tim. he'll help jailbreak the guy if it meant his electronics stayed safe, ok
bruce tries to "disappointed dad" guilt tim into staying in bed but he should know better because tim is immune by now and is caught sneaking out the fucking window
cass gets the closest to winning this terrible "the untitled tim drake" game. she guilts tim into napping with her, and it truly does work, until she wakes up to find he's dragged his laptop onto the bed somehow and has finished a whole ass report
damian, a sore loser: we should just let him loose. good riddance jason, cracking his knuckles: or i can just put him to sleep, bruce, tired: we are Not finding was to cause more harm to your brother.
in the end it's alfred that finally manages to wrangle tim the escape artist. no one knows how he did it though, the door was closed, no one can prove a thing. and, as alfred always says, a gentleman never divulges his secrets.

Okay fine LGBTQ+ batfam headcanon dump:
Dick is pan. He came out very publicly to the media in the 00’s and it was super important to him and to a whole generation of pan kids
Nonbinary transfem Damian Wayne… only valued to the League as a prince and the male heir to the Demon’s Head and then rejecting all that and becoming reallly and truly their own person, with no destiny but what they choose, and no one at all telling them who they are or who to be anymore. Just Damian. Themself.
Tim didn’t come out. Not to his family. They’re all detectives, if they can’t figure it out on their own, then that’s on them
Jason also did not come out but that was because of deep seated interpersonal issues. Also took him a long time to figure out that he was aroace. He had figured he just had more important things on his mind both before and after his death. It was years into his twenties before he even started questioning, and involved a lot of doubting himself
Dick is obnoxiously supportive. His younger siblings wish he was less supportive
Lesbian Cass. Doesn’t really need to be said.
Added bonus though: Cass didn’t know that coming out was a significant thing she needed to do. She learned this in real time while dating Conner and seeing people react to him being openly bi
Steph knew she was bi before dating Tim. She’s been out since middle school. Dick was her hero in a lot of ways when she first started going out as Spoiler
Batman is bi. Bruce Wayne is straight. The Justice League has issued a $10,000 reward for anyone who get him to admit to himself that that is just the closet and not “a valid differentiation between personas”
Dick managed to get the entire family to show up in costume to a pride parade after Tim “came out”/started dating Bernard. Rainbow capes were made. More specific flag decorations were forbidden due to being bad infosec . Jason appointed himself as unofficial security for the event
Babs is bi and also didn’t explicitly come out, figuring she was obvious enough about it to this group of detectives. She was not
Alfred was in a polyam relationship with Thomas and Martha Wayne and this is a better kept secret than Batman’s identity
Jarro is canonically genderless apparently, just putting that out there
A number of Rogues have contributed to the pool of reward money up for anyone who can get Bruce Wayne to self-realization, including Selina
Duke is still questioning. He’s like sixteen and he’s had a very chaotic past few years, that stuff was taking a backseat for a while like it did with Jason
Jason snapped into Extreme Overprotection mode when he heard that comparison. Duke is not allowed to die as a teenager
There was a Queer Robins Club until they realized that was just all the Robins
Duke is questioning his gender in addition to his sexuality
Pride batarangs exist and all bats use all flags interchangeably. For security reasons
Ivy has many complaints about being injured with a lesbian pride flag batarang. She has taken these to the commissioner
Lance Bruner token cishet. Brad Wayne oc post type vibes
#there was another thing on this list but I removed it for being angsty and therefore out of tone#dc#batfam

This Wouldn't Be An Issue... - Batfam x Reader
(gif credit!)
Words: 1272 Pairing: Batfam & Reader Featuring: Bruce Wayne, Tim Drake, Dick Grayson, Alfred Pennyworth, Joker Warnings: Mentions death (not graphic, but it is discussed), mentions revival, probably some ooc bruce Summary: After finding out that Joker is dead, you are a bit relieved. Upon finding out Joker is alive again, you're a bit angrier at a certain someone dressed as a bat. Author's Note: This is based on the comic when Nightwing killed Joker! It was after he thought Joker killed Tim, and Bruce ends up bringing Joker back to life. I have not read the whole comic, but I did read a post rundown about it (link!). This is a crackfic because man I would love to just make fun of Bruce and piss him off. Also, I don't go into background about the reader, so you can have your own idea of how you joined the teaam/batfam!
This is another fic for girl-next-door-writes 's Bingo challenge! This is for the crack square (like i said above lol)
DC / Bingo / Full Masterlist
---
It was a little tense between Gotham's heroes. There has been a lot of emotions lately with everyone; worry, grief, scared, relief, and a bit of anger.
After all the pain Joker has put everyone through over the past few years, it was safe to say everyone was tired of it and didn't know how to keep him at bay. When the team heard that Joker killed another Robin, no one knew how to act.
You found out from Bruce and Tim (who wasn't actually dead) that Dick killed Joker. Hearing that Joker killed Tim sent Dick over the edge, and his anger got the best of him. Though it was a traumatic experience for everyone involved, you were a bit relieved that Joker's shenanigans were finally over.
Not having to deal with Joker hurting anyone else felt like a weight was lifted. Dick felt guilty, but you tried to take his mind off everything, and you told him that this would save more people in the long run. You were also thrilled that Tim was still alive; you wouldn't know how to function without him. And without Joker around, maybe the job would be a little easier on everyone.
But those thoughts were pushed out of your head almost as quickly as they came into it. While sitting in the Cave, talking to Tim and Dick, Batman called in to tell you three that everything is okay. He didn't want Dick to live with the guilt and Joker's death on his conscience, and Joker is alive.
Initially, you blew up at him, but it wasn't like anyone could re-kill the Joker again. Plus, he was already being treated back in Arkham before Bruce told you guys.
Now, it's been a few weeks of Joker locked in Arkham, Dick was back in Blüdhaven and working with Barbara, and you and Tim were still patrolling with Batman. Even if you are still mad at him, you have to let it go to get your work done.
Though there was still some tension between you and Bruce, Tim helped mediate the conversations between you two so the Team could get everything done that needed to be done. Patrol, reports, and even communicating, Tim was there to help. He knew you were upset with Bruce, but he also knew that Bruce wouldn't understand why and just wanted everything to be back to normal.
Tonight, Tim was stuck doing schoolwork elsewhere, so it was just you, Bruce, and Alfred in the cave. You were going to go out to patrol with him, but Bruce told you he could handle it by himself tonight, and you could stay back and watch the computer and get your homework done. Part of you still wanted to go out, but you weren't sure if it was smart to do so without Tim there to keep you on track.
You worked on some random homework while Bruce was typing away on the Bat Computer. You weren't entirely sure what he was working on, but right now, it didn't involve you, so you didn't ask. He'd be leaving soon, so the weird vibes in the Cave would be gone. Not soon enough, but you were able to focus on your work and ignore the weirdness.
As Bruce was typing, an alarm went off that called Bruce's attention away from whatever he was doing. You looked up and over at the computer, but Bruce had already stood up and pulled his cowl on before you could see what the alert said.
"Who is it?" You called over.
Bruce was about to get in the Batmobile. "Didn't say, just someone out of Arkham. I'm sure Gordon will have a rundown for me," Bruce looked at you. Once you nodded, Bruce got in the Batmobile and sped out of the Batcave.
You quickly pushed your homework aside and moved over to sit in front of the Bat-Computer so you could listen to Bruce and see what he was doing. You watched the tracker of the Batmobile, making quick turns and stopping where the alert was coming from.
"Who is it?" You asked again into the comms when Batman arrived at the scene.
He didn't reply, which only frustrated you more. Even if you weren't out there with Batman, you still wanted to know what was going on! He's had how many partners and still doesn't understand that? You heard some sounds, but none of them were what you were looking for. After he huffed a few times, he said your code name.
"Yeah?" You replied immediately.
"May need you to get down here," Batman replied.
"What's going on?" You asked.
Batman really didn't want to tell you due to the tension that has been on the team recently. But he also knew if you didn't get a heads up, you'd be even madder. "Joker and goons. Just need the backup to watch the goons."
"Oh," You said and slumped back in the chair with an evil smile. "Yeah, no."
"Seriously?" Batman groaned, and you heard another grunt come through, probably a goon being punched.
Alfred was walking up behind you to listen to the conversation. "Yeah, that sounds like a you problem," You continued.
"If Robin were here, he'd help me," Batman tried to get under your skin.
"It's a shame he isn't here tonight, then. You know, B, this wouldn't be an issue if you just let Joker stay dead. You wouldn't be fighting Joker goons, and there wouldn't even be a Joker breakout at Arkham. Again."
Batman grunted again. "We are not discussing that right now! You know my stance."
"And you know mine. You brought him back; he's your problem; you deal with it. I was perfectly fine letting Joker stay dead for all the things he's done. And now, hopefully, you can see that it would have been smart to just let things that happened happen," You said sarcastically. You knew this would make Bruce mad, but sometimes, it was just too easy.
There were a few moments where Batman didn't say anything, and after some more swishes of wind coming through the comms, it got quiet. "Nevermind," Batman said, and before you could respond, the comms went dead.
"You know," Alfred said from behind you. "I think there was a better way you could have handled that."
You turned around quickly to face Alfred. "Oh, come on. You agree that Bruce shouldn't have brought Joker back, right? This is his own fault," You crossed your arms.
"It does not matter what I think; what's done is done," Alfred told you. "I don't think Master Bruce was expecting Joker to recover so quickly and make a break for it, though. But it would have been nice for you to help him."
"He had to give Joker mouth-to-mouth, Alfred. I wouldn't for a second think about doing that! Besides, for all the people Joker hurt, maybe it was time," You complained.
Alfred nodded, as he did see it from your point of view as well. "Yes, I understand. Joker is a bad person, I agree. But maybe give Master Bruce a bit of a break?"
You thought for a minute, then sighed. "Just a little one. But I'm not going to stop making fun of him; it's just too much fun."
A smile cracked on Alfred's face. "I wouldn't expect anything less."
You tore away from the conversation when your phone went off and looked to see who the message was from.
Tim: Heard Joker broke out of Arkham again. How'd that go with Bruce?
(Y/N): I bet you can guess.

So I saw somewhere a post that talked about how some fictional characters just have a divorce vibe going on, like, at no point in time were they ever married but they just give off that feeling that they got divorced
And now I can only think of Clark Kent and Lex Luthor having that vibe
And I spent close to an hour talking about this to my sibling and how it would be a good idea for a new DC show like, you can make so much money off of just the main Batfam alone and there are literally so many people in there that it’s just an amazing idea to have them all in a show together but kind of like a Good Luck Charlie kinda thing because there’s more than enough angst in the world
But in the case of not having enough of a budget for so many characters in one show I turned to the Superfam (Batfam is Huge like, I don’t even know half of the extended family version and that’s like at least ten characters so I could see why it wouldn’t be entirely feasible to have a show that included everyone while still being good with nice character development without having a billion dollars for the budget)
The Superfam, in my personal experience, is composed of Ma & Pa Kent (farm vibes plus I refuse to have either of them die in my AU), Clark Kent (main Superman), Lois Lane (Lana? was Smallville Lois i guess??? But idk enough about her so she’s not here), Jon Kent (Superboi II), Kara Danvers (Supergirl) & Conner Kent (Superboi I)
Now I’ve stopped watching CW shows like, forever ago??? But my brother kinda keeps up with them and basically the gist is that the ratings of every other show suck Except for the Superman & Lois show (because it’s 💫new💫) and I saw the cover of the poster like “Ah, the werewolf dude. . . mmmhhmmm that’s Lois yes, yes that’s Johnny boi, and um is that???? Nooooo, they wouldn’t do that to Conner right???? Please tell me they didn’t make Conner blonde” and I was informed that the blonde teen is Chris???? Like
Whoms’t do ye speak of
I’m not even joking but the only way I even know of Chris is from a random fanfic I read where Dick Grayson gets his own super from an alternate reality named Chris, that’s my only point of reference for this character
But let’s talk about how Conner Kent (OG Superboi) was excluded
Now I haven’t seen any episodes of this and I probably never will (no hate I’m just really unmotivated to start new shows at all) so idk if they might mention Conner or even allude to him in one scene or something
But this was my main motivator as to my new Superfam TV Show Idea
Have Lex Luthor not be a Superman villain, he’s mainly a successful businessman, a little shady but who isn’t, and he doesn’t want to Kill Superman, he just wants to be able to have some sort of viable protection against a Kryptonian in case of an invasion (see Man of Steel + CW’s Supergirl) or suddenly having a mind controlled Superman on their hands (see Justice League series or just look up what Red Krytonite does) so he makes it like his side thing to figure out ways to neutralize or hold back a Kryptonian, Clark totally thinks that Lex is obsessed with finding a way to kill Superman because they had a bad end to their friendship in high school so he’s always suspicious of Lex, Lex hasn’t really ever tried to kill him though because 1. It’s not that deep Clark ok? And 2. He’s a busy busy man with a very important job position and a company to run so does he look like he has time to harbor an obsession over someone who rejected him back in high school??? You’re more of a constant side quest Clark, so stop trying to put him on the JL watchlist ( btw ik about Lena Luthor, haven’t forgotten her but she doesn’t really play a part in this AU so let’s just have her and Kara off to the side doing their own thing ok? Ok)
Lex, Bruce & Oliver all knew each other when they were kids and went to the same school, this is just an extra detail I wanted to happen because Lex and Ollie definitely know Bruce is Batman and absolutely HATE having to deal with Brucie Wayne because “I know you’re just doing this to irritate me Bruce, you just want to see if you can make a vein throb in my forehead but I will valiantly ignore your dumbassery because I know you hate being Brucie just as much as we hate having to put up with Brucie so suck on that you petty bitch” because they bonded in ye olden days, childhood friends so to speak
Anyway so Cadmus tries to get Lex to make an investment in their company, seeing as Cadmus is shadier than Gotham when it rains Lex is basically like ‘no ❤️’ and doesn’t make a deal with them, Cadmus gets mad at not having Lexcorp financially backing them so Lex has an ‘accident’ and they steal his DNA, then they steal Superman’s DNA somehow and *boom* a Superboi is formed
Because I don’t know much about how the Core Four became friends in the first place (Robin Tim Drake, Impulse Bart Allen, Wonder Girl Cassie Sandsmark & Superboy Conner Kent) I’m just gonna go with what happens in the show Young Justice except it’s the Core Four becoming the Core Four when they liberated Conner (who at this point believes himself to be a clone of Superman and has only been given Superboy as a name) from Cadmus, same shit goes down meaning that Clark is just straight up NOT vibing with Conner, Conner just wants a mentor please, and the Bats kinda give Clark a passive aggressive treatment for not taking Superboy under his wing or at least agreeing to teach him how to control his powers, especially Tim because that’s his Bestie so yes
Anyway, YJ saves ppl and is on the news or whatever and Lex finds out about Superboy’s existence that way, so he researches this new super on his free time, finds out that he came from Cadmus and claims to be a clone of Superman, yet doesn’t have the whole power set Superman has??? Wait, didn’t Lex reject Cadmus’ proposal and the got into a mysterious accident??? Long story short Lex goes connecting the dots, hacks into Cadmus’ files, finds out he technically has a son with Superman and decides to take Superboy under his wing (I’ll go more in depth as to why Lex would want to do this in this AU later but the abridged version would be that he wants a kid but doesn’t have the time nor interest in finding a wife??? Also the radiation that made him bald as a kid also affected his reproductive system so while it’s not impossible for him to conceive kids he would have a very hard time actually getting to father a kid)
Him and Conner, who still goes by Superboy at this point in time, meet up and Conner finds out that here is a parent figure that is both available and actively wants to be a part of his life, so he agrees to get to know Lex and the series would focus on them becoming a family, with a special episode when Conner asks Lex for help in choosing a name for himself and it ends up with him agreeing to become Conner Luthor, it would be heartwarming and Mercy would make sure it happens within a day (Mercy is Lex’s bodyguard/PA but they’re also besties and she becomes the Responsible yet Chaotic Aunt as Lex and Conner’s father-son relationship progresses)
Obviously Clark becomes super suspicious of Lex getting close to his ‘clone’ and when Conner decides to go public as Lex’s son he’s like *GASP* and calls up Bruce because we need to get on this Bruce, Lex is a villain and blah blah blah but Bruce would be over Clark’s shit and hit him with that “actually, Lex was also an unwilling genetic donor to Superboy, who actually is not your clone either, and has agreed to take him in, I’ve been on this shit since they first met and the kid is doing just fine so if you keep poking your nose in their business then that’s your problem but you better be ready to pay child support bitch . . . have a good day ❤️”
The series would just focus on Conner getting to have a good parent figure in Lex and go more into their civilian lives rather than focusing on the superhero thing, Conner, Bart, Tim & Cassie have a sleepover at Lex’s house at one point, Lex totally Knows what’s up but it’s all good because these are his baby’s friends and they’re good people who are more than willing to prank Superman for rejecting his kid and giving his baby self worth issues (Mercy supports them)
Anyway, that’s basically the idea for a new Superhero Show
#humor#superfamily#that’s new#focusing on Conner (the OG Superboy)#because they are always excluding him#so now Lex Luthor is a caring father to him#because yes#give this boy some love#conner kent#lex luthor#clark kent#bruce wayne#tim drake#superman#superboy#cassie sandsmark#bart allen#the Core Four is here too#Lex isn’t really a villain#he’s not evil either#finding ways to neutralize Superman is just like a side quest#because yes Superman is a paragon of good and Justice#but mind control exists#so pardon Lex for wanting to be able to protect himself from an out of control Superman#Clark totally thinks that Lex is obsessed with stopping him#because they had a bad friendship ending back in high school#but Lex isn’t aware of this ‘rivalry’ he’s supposed to be a part of#so it’s just Clark being suspicious of Lex and Lex not having a clue about this#or just not giving a shit because he’s a busy businessman trying to run a huge company#just a new idea for a new DC show focusing on the Supers

I'm sorry but I don't think that you can't really compare Tim and Damian's reasons to dislike each other. So Damian was jealous of Tim, big deal. Meanwhile Tim's entire life was falling apart, so many people he loved died in a short period of time, no one believed him when he said that Bruce was alive and this boy shows up, treats him horribly and gets the only stable thing that Tim had left that was Robin handed to him on a silver plate.
Ok but think of it from Damian’s point of view, not from the situation as it was but from how he viewed it. He came from a very regimented and strict (read: abusive) childhood where you had to kill in order to advance and you had to be perfect in order to be worthy of living. Damian was skilled and proud of it and ready to show off to his father after meeting him for the first time. Except Tim Drake is in the way, no big, kill him and take his place. That’s the League way, he’s irked to find out this makes his father even angrier at him because he just doesn’t get that that’s not okay. Damian is angry and not adjusting but the more time he spends in Gotham the more he sees there’s another side to things, another way to live. His doubts come to a head when his Grandfather is resurrected and tries to steal Damian’s body when Ra’s temporary one is crumbling. Clearly he’s seeing he’s just a tool for the League so he goes rushing back to Gotham only to find no one is very happy to see him.
Then Bruce dies and whoops what happens now. Damian is at a crossroads here, he sees that the League might not be right/the best option but he doesn’t know where to go. It would have been easy to let him slip through the cracks and fall back into old ways but Dick steps the fuck up where no one else would and saves Damian, physically, mentally, emotionally. I’ll bitch Dick out for hours about how he treated Tim, but he did so good by Dami. He showed the boy what it meant to love and be loved in return, how to fight with honor, how to be part of a real family/team. The Tim/Dami conflict is non-existent during this time because Tim is off doing the Red Robin thing. But once he comes back and with the news that Bruce is alive, Damian is shaken. Because 1) He’s gained some compassion and perspective about how he treated Tim and Damian isn’t mature enough to deal with that guilt properly so he lashed out in anger. 2) Damian has become very attached to Dick by this and Tim’s return threatens that relationship and Dami would do anything to keep Grayson with him 3) Bruce’s return likewise would cause ripples in the whole Batfam again and Damian is scared, he’s grown comfortable in his current role, he’s afraid of how things will turn out.
So now we’re up to end of Pre-52/start of N52 and things are still tense. Tim, yes god obviously, has many reasons to be angry at Damian but I just listed the above reasons why Damian would be mad at Tim but also, he’s like freaking 10 by this point. As mature and intelligent as Damian is, he does not have the mental/emotional maturity to deal with such complex emotions like dealing with jealousy, guilt, grief in a healthy manner not to mention after surviving an abusive childhood where such displays of emotion would be taken for ‘weakness’ I’m certain. The primary motivator for Dami’s anger towards Tim once we get to his Robin tenure is fear and insecurity. He basically states this outright when Tim’s hit-list is revealed which only fuels Damian’s animosity towards Tim because now he’s feeling attacked and Damian will not take that lying down. Plus he’s getting the obvious vibes that Tim doesn’t like him back, isn’t making the effort like Dick, later Bruce, did. If someone treats you shitty, you’re most likely gonna treat them shitty back.
The Batfam is all Damian has now, he is so afraid that the costume (which has grown to mean so much to him too) and his newfound life are going to get taken. That his past will suddenly catch up and he’ll be deemed unworthy. Plus, he knows logically Tim is the better robin at this point: older, skilled, more controllable. Damian is on edge thinking any minute Bruce is going to flip the status quo again and give Tim his job back. We know that was never on the books, but tell that to the 10 year old assassin who has finally gotten a taste of love and family and is afraid his predecessor is going to take it right back. Would that be enough to make you angry at someone?
#batman asks#Damian Wayne#Tim was treated terribly#but I'll never not defend that Damian had just as rough a time
