summary: Regina and Janis get into a fight that costs them their relationship.

a/n: Hey guys, First lil' fic! I do apologise for it not being something fluff! I know it's short, I just wanted to put it out. lmk if I should continue this one!! >.<

Janis opened the door to her apartment, throwing her keys onto the table, walking in noticing Regina already on her couch. Regina was sprawled out, watching some reality TV show, she didn't even pay any mind to Janis walking in. Janis just shrugged it off, and threw her backpack in the corner. 

She walked over to the couch sitting next to Regina, “You seem upset, what's wrong?”

“Nothing.” Regina sighed, avoiding looking at Janis. Janis did think it was weird but it could have just been one of Regina's moods.

“Lets just do something then” Janis added, still trying to coax the taller girl into looking at her.

“Just go hang out with Cady, you’ve gotten good at that.” Regina scoffed, her eyes not leaving the TV. 

“What are you saying?” her face was confused, “Baby look at me.”

Regina finally turned to Janis, her mascara was smudged, Janis could tell she was crying. The tension in the room doubled, as they looked at each other.

“You two keep flirting with each other!” Regina stood up, towering over the smaller girl.

“What?? Regina, we’re just friends!” Janis said standing up as well, not fixing the height difference at all.

“I knew you wouldn't understand, just fuck off.” Regina grunted speed walking towards the hall, Janis close following.

“Gosh Regina, what's your problem!??” Janis yelled, grabbing Regina’s arm.

“No Janis. Whats your fucking problem!?” Regina turned around, yanking her hand out of Janis's tight grasp, pointing in her face, making Janis feel small. “Every fucking day, I see you guys flirting, hinting, acting cute, its pissing me off!!”

“Its not what it looks like!” Janis argued, slapping Regina’s hand out of her face. the room heating up and the tension uncutable. 

“So what the fuck is it supposed to look like!?” Regina was furious, her tears threatening to spill. “She wants to fuck you, what are you not understanding!?” 

“I’m not understand why you're so pissed! You act flirty to other people all the time! When I do it once, why is it such a problem!?” Janis complained. “Your so fucking selfish! What about how I felt about you constantly flirting with guys after we started dating!?”

“UGH, You don't fucking understand!” Regina huffed, “You got your life figured out, normal girl. Me? Everyone expects me to be normal! Not some.. Dyke.”

“How is that any easier than my life!?” 

“Because nobody likes you!”

Silence filled the apartment, they stood absolutely still, staring at each other. anger quickly replaced with shock and regret. Regina took a step back, surprised at her own words.

“Janis, i-” 

“Leave. Pack your shit and go.” Janis sneered, her head dropping. 

“No wait, I didn’t,” Regina reached out trying to salvage the relationship. 

“I can’t do this anymore, not right now. Leave Regina.” Janis added, her tone cold, her attitude dismissive. 

Regina went to their partially shared room, grabbed her bag, her tears finally spilling.

She passed Janis, still standing in the hall. Regina opened the door, leaving without another word, not even turning to say good-bye.

Janis's heart sank. This was horrible.

It's Dandadan AU time! A bit of lore:

Spirits are supernatural creatures who govern over certain aspects of our world (like Agni is a Sun spirit while Hei Bai is a forest). Yokai are the corrupted souls of humans who suffered in terrible ways, and were unable to move on to the afterlife—thus becoming something else.

Most people can't tell the difference between a spirit and a yokai. These two dorks, though? They're painfully aware of it.

Scenes/Things in Supernatural that genuinely don't make sense to me if Dean was straight:

The confession booth scene.

Sam just rolling with the fact that Dean's siren is a guy while still thinking sirens infect people through sex.

Dean being flustered by several men: Gunner Lawless, Aaron, Doctor Sexy, etc.

All the parallels between Destiel and other couples. (A big one being "last night on Earth" bc how do you do that accidentally.)

Having all the gay jokes be on Dean instead of Sam.

Paralleling Sam meeting his childhood celebrity crush with Dean meeting Gunner Lawless.

The boner Dean got when Cas cleaned up.

Dean gulping after Cas does an impression from a Western movie.

Charlie, a lesbian, calling Castiel "dreamy."

The way Mary looks at Dean and Cas when they hug.

Dean wondering why everyone assumes he's gay, while Sam not caring.

The logic that Charlie can't flirt with guys because she's only attracted to women, but then having Dean flirt with the guy for her.

Dean seeming disappointed when learning that Aaron's flirting was fake.

The amount of time Dean and Cas spend staring at each other.

Dean canonically having an orgy with Crowley.

A woman saying that she knows when someone's pining for someone else to Dean, just for us to learn that Dean was never in love with Amara.

The set design and script choices that lead to a cross in the background while Dean said "I do." to Cas after he came back to life.

That time when Dean wanted to say something and Cas was like, "It's okay, I heard your prayer." But Dean still looked like he wanted to say something important.

Amara: [about Dean] "I can see inside your heart. Feel the love you feel. Except, it’s cloaked in shame.”

I've seen a lot of people writing Danny as a space ancient and Dan and Dani as ghosts with moon and sun cores, being sort of parts, versions of Danny and therefore weaker. Now, consider: Dan and Dani are both powerful ghosts with really cool cores and stuff but Danny is just some guy™

Dan, who came from an alternate timeline and is kind of from the future but also not, is Clockwork's apprentice and will eventually become an ancient of time. He probably only agreed to have some lessons with Clockwork to understand better what happened to him, but he enjoys his apprenticeship now.

Dani, with her love of travelling, loves seeing all the different places the world offers to her, and that includes space and different planets and maybe even parallel universes, and she accidentally ends up being an apprentice of the space ancient. For now she's probably a baby ancient of freedom or something like that, but she might become an ancient of space in the future.

We can also have something like Dan having a core of destruction or Dani being the Speed Force if you want it to be dcxdp, or any headcanon of yours about their cool powers.

And then there's Danny. And yeah, everyone knows that he's super powerful, but also he's just some guy.

It can go different routes. Does everyone know that Danny is just Danny? Or do they think that with siblings (well, technically a clone and an alternate version, but whatever) so powerful, he must be even stronger? Is Danny actually something terrifyingly eldritch and ancient and strong, almost a god, but he just doesn't know himself? Or is he just really some guy?

Now, because it's obvious that I have a dcxdp brainrot, have a regular "JL summons/meets a powerful ghost" but its Dan and Dani, and they keep mentioning their original/brother who won a fight against them at some point. The JL is very concerned about Dan and Dani's godlike powers, and they can't imagine what Danny is like. And then they meet him (in his human form), and it's just a young adult in casual clothes, very friendly and helpful, with no evident powers. Imagine the confusion. Imagine Dan and Dani, radiating power, in their eldritch ghost forms, admitting that fighting Danny for real is the dumbest thing to do and not even they would succeed... And then there's Danny is jeans and silly t-shirt, waving shyly.
