I'm in my feels thinking about how fucked up the TOS crew ended like
Kirk got stuck in the nexus from ~2293 to 2371 only to die again, for good, as soon as he got out? Come on. come on man.
Bones got old. like really old. and didn't get to see Kirk again??? It's been a while since I watched the TNG episode with McCoy, I don't remember what he says, but he was like 150 years old. Did he ever even see Kirk before he got stuck in the Nexus. Did he ever see Spock? (I'd hope so, Spock disappears years later, in Picard if I'm correct?)
Spock was... around doing Spock stuff. And then Kirk died and did Spock even know? did someone tell Spock that his literal soulmate died. twice. and then Spock got stuck in another universe, a reality slightly different from his own, where everyone is younger than him and Jim is not really Jim and he has his own Spock anyway and his planet is gone and he lived the rest of his days in the Kelvin timeline, alone.
And Scotty got stuck in a transporter buffer for 75 years. That's so long. They had to tell him Kirk was gone? (although, they were together when that happened, weren't they? they were on the Enterprise-B, technically Scotty knew that Kirk was "dead" didn't he? I guess spending 75 years stuck in a buffer mode will screw up your memory though.) Did he see Spock again? Did he see Bones again before either of them died?
Basically the only ones we didn't see explicitly (or implicitly) die or disappear of the OG crew are Uhura, Chekov and Sulu. Where were they? what were they doing? did they know about Kirk? about Scotty? about Spock?
Sorry but like. that is so fucked up. why does nobody talk about this!!!

Dying a little bit over Pete being willing to die for Steph in both Abstinence Camp and NPMD. Granted, in Abstinence Camp it isn't super obvious that's what he's doing, but Pete had a badly injured, possibly broken, leg. He was only mobile in the first place because of Steph supporting him. And yet when Lumber Axe is going after Steph, Pete tries to intercept Lumber Axe, and when he can't due to his leg, he starts shouting and flailing and throwing stuff to divert his attention onto Pete. If this had worked the way Pete had intended (he had no idea the magazine would stop him like that), then Lumber Axe would have gone after Pete, and with his leg, he wouldn't have been able to run. He would have been sacrificing himself to give her time to run.
And of course, in NPMD, Cool As I Think I Am Reprise exists. As does the scene immediately following it where Pete tries to fight the intangible ghost jock that wants him dead to keep him away from Steph, which Max breaks his arm for.
Pete would have died in both of these situations to save Steph (probably in vain), if it weren't for wild turns of events taking place to prevent it (the porn magazine frightening Lumber Axe; Grace appearing in the nick of time to reason with him; Max pulling a Hamilton; and Grace fucking a ghost to hell)
I can't believe I'm saying this, but thank goodness for Grace Chasity's impeccable timing and her impressive prudishness for saving Pete and Steph in both stories.

I gave myself a writing challenge and I am fascinated by it
So basically I put the robins in a randomizer to give them a new order/role (because I just...kinda wanted to see what would happen + I like role-reversal AUs) and got results that are giving me a fucking brain blast.
Stephanie, the first sidekick who defines the role
Tim, the sidekick who dies and comes back wrong
Dick, the sidekick who saves Batman from himself
Damian, the sidekick who was never supposed to be a sidekick but would go on to prove everyone wrong
Jason, the youngest sidekick who is still the Kid Wonder
...So this is fucking wild. I've got some ideas and several of these fit perfectly (Dick's role is pretty similar to his one in canon), but some of these are fucking INCREDIBLE to explore (Steph being the first Robin is something I never even considered but tbh I kinda love it).
I probably won't write a fic or anything because tbh I don't like publishing my writing that much, but I might expand this into a full AU and post about it. I might randomize other stuff too (ie, stuff that I cannot change vs stuff that I cannot keep the same) but this fucking rules as a starting point.

i wonder how much longer the devils' lifespan is compared to a human. because the kings have been around for AGES when you take into account the fact that they were all full fledged adults with their countries well established by the time solomon first made contact with them. but also what's been messing me up about the longevity of their lives is the fact that the mc meets children! (from satan's bath card preview)
and from this conversation with sitri and ppyong devils are no longer being born because lilith, mother of all devils, has disappeared along with god and solomon. (ch3)
of course we know solomon is dead but the other two's existences are kinda up in the air at the moment. and with the fact that they all disappeared a long time ago its been. a few millenia which means any devil children have been babies and children for. a VERY long time from a humn perspective. and in that time many generations have sprung up between solomon's death and the mc being born. but also time passes differently in hell (likely slower from the fact that mc wasn't aware that the anniversary of their parents' death approached and passed (in ch4), as well as the fact that sitri says solomon spent a century in hell when solomon only made it to his 50s on earth (unles pretty busy has changed this for the story but i dont think they have)
with how all the devil's act you really would think that solomon disappeared just yesterday to them! thousands of years have passed on earth but theyre still heartbroken like they last spoke to him just last week! how short is the life span of a human to them. is it just like a blink and you're gone. are they aware of how limited their time with the mc is. because even with hell being so technologically avanced there's death every day. there is no cure for death. you will die and they still haven't even coped well with the death of a man that lived so long ago.

The first time pro hero Hawks experiences jealousy is within the base of the infamous league of villains, a one room apartment falling down on itself. He ignores the tiny room that barely fits all eight of them, the caved in ceiling that would be dripping wet whenever it rains, or even the paper thin walls. Instead he focuses on how Mr. Compress is forcing a grumbling Dabi to finish his food. He sees Shigaraki lying down on Twice's thigh - ignoring everyone around him, contoller in hand, yet making a noise whenever Twice moves away - as said man is chatting with Toga as he fixes her hair. He hears Kurogiri and Spinner whispering somewhere behind him about pretty red eyes and how to get noticed by villainous leaders.
Hawks stands in the middle of this shitty apartment, thinking about his clean and fully furnished penthouse, not an object out of place(because no one stays long enough to make a mess). He thinks about his late night dinners with more food he could ever hope to finish(yet no one to share it with). He remembers all the love and adoration he gets from all his fans around the world, but the neverending emptiness is still there.
Keigo has never felt more alone even with the endless chatter of the people he is supposed to betray near. But when Dabi walks his way while complaining about all the vegetables he was made to eat and a Toga tugging at his hero uniform - showing off the glittering nails Twice painted on her - Keigo thinks that maybe, just maybe he could have a home here too.
