Friendly reminder that you don’t owe anyone here a debate.
Person thinks trans men can’t reclaim “tranny”?
Wow, that’s stupid. Block ‘em.
Some asshole believes that trans men are uniquely misogynistic or privileged or whatever fun discourse buzzword they’re using today?
Their prejudice is not your problem. Block ‘em.
Random blogger says trans men don’t experience (insert common form of transphobia here)?
Don’t try to prove them wrong by sharing details of your trauma. Just block ‘em.
The worst offenders aren’t going to change. They’re not going to listen to you, or engage in a good-faith debate. Speaking from experience, showing them any vulnerability will just result in it being used against you.
It’s sad, but these people are stuck in a discourse tar-pit that makes them see their trans siblings as enemies. They have to pull themselves out; they won’t hear a word you say, not when they’ve already made up their minds about you.
Don’t give them a platform. Don’t waste your time and energy on bad-faith arguments. Spend it with people who don’t make misunderstanding you their favorite hobby.
And remember:
Make sure you've blocked fite-club/rittz. Like half of the inane discourse yapping goes away when you do, it's great.

Most passing and binary trans woman on earth: "actually I am biologically female, a real category that both exists and matters, because hormones. So obviously transphobes should respect me and its factually wrong to be transphobic agaisnt me because I've somehow managed to transition into a cisgender person."
Anyone even slightly educated on the broader queer community: "What if, now hear me out, intersex women and afab enbies tormented you using demons and magic spells."

The hatesub r/systemscringe are being full-on transphobes again!
Tumblr media
Reminder: a huge number of systems have alters and headmates with completely different genders and sexes from the body.
Anyone who has ever studied any type of multiplicity is aware of this fact.
And not-so-shockingly, this makes gender complicated.
Let's just see the screenshots they're angry at today.
Tumblr media
So the body has transitioned to male but this one headmate identifies as female and identifies as a trans woman.
In another screenshot, the system says they aren't "invading trans spaces." Which is such an absurd thing to have to defend yourselves from accusations of when you're a part of a trans system.
Tumblr media
Even if you do take the position that spaces for transwomen should be exclusionary AFAB people, one would at least expect the male headmates to be able to feel safe in the trans community without being made to feel like they're "invaders."
Unfortunately, many pluralphobes and queer exclusionists have decided the gender identity of headmates in systems is less valid than that of singlets.
Tumblr media
This is another pretty common thing. Especially with introjects who have source memories. It's common to have memories of lives you may not have actually lived but still feel pretty real.
I did a Tumblr poll last year. About half of systems responding had at least one trans headmate with the same gender as the body's AGAB. Nearly all had cis headmates with the opposite gender of the body.
Tumblr media
Of course, if you heard it from r/systemscringe, they must be faking being trans entirely!
Tumblr media
And takes like this throw not just systems under the bus, but also people who are genderfluid or otherwise nonbinary as well.
And if you're thinking, "wow, that comment sounds like something truscum would say," you aren't wrong!
Here are some unrelated posts this same user has authored:
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Back to r/systemscringe, most of the comments were more of the same, stopping just short of calling them transtrenders but clearly very much wanting to!
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
By the way, all the censors on the names of the system and alters were mine. u/superthrowawayEEE censored nothing. When a user points this out, moderator u/DizkoLites says they considered taking it down but chose not to, saying their name was common enough that it wouldn't matter.
Tumblr media
To be fair, the mods did end up taking it down... after the system got harassed for their gender and contacted the subreddit directly.
Tumblr media
So congrats on waiting until after the harassment to enforce your own rules!
But don't worry, you're free to make a brand new post mocking someone for their gender identity! r/systemscringe's mod team is totally cool with that! Just gotta hide the name because that's apparently the only problem here!🙄
(You know, unless they're on the mod-approved hit list. Then you can name them too no matter how much harassment they get.)
The other day, someone asked this question on the hatesub:
Tumblr media
Here's the answer:
Stop being bigots.
Stop being ableists.
Stop spreading misinformation.
Stop mocking people for their genders.
Stop harboring truscum and parroting transphobic talking points!
Try to be decent human beings for once in your lives!
And then... well, I guess that wouldn't leave much of a subreddit would it? There's no r/systemscringe without ableism, transphobia and queer exclusionism. It's baked into the DNA of these groups.
But maybe that would be for the best.
Nothing from these cringe communities is salvageable. And nothing should be socially acceptable about groups founded on cyberbullying.

it's so funny when people who know nothing about queer history try to define bisexuality. "attraction to two or more genders" do we have a gender warden that tallies up and sorts the genders now? Do you have a checklist of which non binary genders you will and won't date? Another important issue is that this definition seems to imply that non binary is a "third gender" which may be true for some nonbinary people but saying that applies to everyone defeats the whole purpose of the identity! not belonging in the binary system doesn't mean just making it into a ternary!! away with that shit!! what the hell even is a gender anyways.
Disclaimer I have nothing against labels such as omnisexual, polysexual, pansexual etc. It's YOUR sexuality, and you don't actually owe anyone an acceptable or understandable definition of it. My issue is when people try to redefine terms such as bisexual, considering the history behind gaining acceptance for multisexuality and fighting stereotypes and such. If bisexual doesn't feel right, and you don't wish to be called bisexual, that's completely valid. I just don't fw rewriting history

Every time a dfab white "nonbinary" she/they says something transphobic about trans men or testosterone hrt, I feel myself empathizing more with truscum.
Like, we get it, Sox. You're just a goth girl with a weird nickname at the end of the day, and you just say you're nonbinary to get attention even though you still present as feminine as possible, and you want to be able to be dramatic and say that you're "detransitioning" later when you admit you were faking it even though you never actually transitioned in the first place. You don't understand real trans people. That's not an excuse to be transphobic.
I don't think anyone would actually dislike theyfabs if they didn't treat actual trans people like shit. Ffs, the only two jobs that have fired me, it was a theyfab manager who was "concerned about my transition", the first time because I said that I wouldn't be detransitioning after having a baby, and the second because I was going back on testosterone and she/they "had concerns about employees on controlled substances", and every single one I've ever met eventually used slurs or transphobic language towards me or other trans people.
Not saying that dfab nonbinary people are all lying, not saying that they need to present a certain way, but if you're gonna say you're nonbinary or trans, maybe don't be a transphobic loser. Even if you're lying for attention, I can respect it if you're not being a cunt to people who are actually trans.
Respect is a two way street and these little girls are not respectful.

I'm begging you, please never refer to a live human being as "representation". They're a fucking person it is not their responsibility to be an ambassador for every identity they have.

the testosterone has made me extremely queer for a lot of people. like...¿tattoos or dyed hair on any gender? 1000/10. but also fictional men, & androgynous/trans people, & intersex people, & men who smile soft when you infodump, & women playing with my hair &... *vague gestures* I’m very queer. 🏳‍🌈
(I didn’t realize I was aspec until HRT changed that 😅 You don’t notice/struggle to define a lack of something until you have the contrast of having/experiencing it, ¿y’know? I’m still demiromantic (I’m the slow burn trope embodied), but not asexual anymore. I think I’m in a grey area between bi/pan and demisexual.)
literally playing video games like “oh, I wanna romance him👀” & then frustrated to find out the game doesn’t allow bisexual companions so my male character can’t romance the hot male companion 😭
(& this isn’t Stereotypical Hot Man™ either. like....¿Malavai Quinn from SWTOR, when you give him a gift & he says “I am overwhelmed, my lord”? very hot. it’s personality & the way they talk to me, & has very little to do with most aspects of physical appearance. the exception is witchy/fae/fantasy vibe outfits &/or dyed hair & tattoos, but people who decorate their mortal form that way tend to also be the personality I like 🤷‍♂️)
to simplify, I am experiencing ✨queerness✨ and honestly I’m not mad. people are hot. and I want kisses 🥺 (but why do my favourite people live far away 😭 or they’re fictional)

Im going to be extremely serious here for a minute
If you are overly involved in LGBT+ discourse of any kind maybe you should go spend some time in your local community spaces and see that that person that you said isn't queer enough for your tastes is an actual fucking human being who is probably more involved in the local community than you are.
Also if you think this is a bullshit rule consider why YOU are so comfortable to label with a community label without contributing to a community, and instead making it a label for all the people you agree with.
If you are reading this your special brand of exclusionary LGBT+ discourse is not holy or exempt from this. Im not even going to list everything coming to mind because that detracts from my point.

where does the word "truscum" come from?
The one took me roughly 9 hours to research, but here you go. Tl;dr - it is a shortening of the phrase "true transsexual scum."

Truscum and the section of the autism community who claim "low support needs" people are erasing them are like two sides of the same coin.
"My identity can only be defined by suffering."
"Real people are bad representation."
"My acceptance in should come from people seeing me as lesser and then taking pity on me."
"People who understand their identity differently than me are somehow an attack on my own understanding of my identity."
"I consider teenagers on TicTok and Tumblr being cringe are a bigger threat than actual eugenicists who want to kill me."
"Hey eugenicists, I'm one of the good ones!"
