Bones. Broken bones, splintered bones, broken rib cages that make breathing difficult, a broken shoulder, and the like. Anything that makes moving painful. The whumpee making hissing sounds as they try to control the pain. Seeing the whumper off to the side, simply enjoying the scene. The bruising of the body part (leg, arm, ribs, shoulder, etc.) afterwards. Oh the feels.

Whump Idea
CW: No Content Warnings
One of my personal favorite whump tropes is Whumper has amnesia. It opens a lot of character development options for the other characters interacted with, great whumpy moments with Whumpee, and a string of possibilities impossible with a normal Whumper.
There’s also a lot of variation, and still ample room for plenty of whumping. Here are some ideas to play around with the trope.
-Whumper has lost some of their memories, and surprisingly has secluded to a harmless lifestyle
-Whumpee is still terrified of a Whumper that has no memory as to why
-Whumper has had amnesia in the past and remembers it. They react scared and anxiously over their current forgetful state, constantly wondering what it is they can’t remember.
-”Who are you?”
-Migraines from a head injury that causes the amnesia
-Whumper has forgotten everything about Whumpee, but hasn’t left behind the satisfaction in hurting others
-Whumpee or/and Caretaker caring for a confused Whumper
-Whumpee becoming the Whumper as the OG one is in a vulnerable state. OG Whumper has no clue as to why this random person is doing this to them.
-Is Whumper a ticking time bomb to becoming their old self?
-How does Whumper respond if any of their old memories come back to them? Ashamed of what they did, or shocked of what they are doing now. Do they relapse, or become overwhelmed with guilt.
-Is it whumper’s genetics or an uncontrollable condition that makes them that way?
-Does Whumper just start everything from scratch?

Sleep Themed Whumps
I suffer from an unlucky mixture of Nightmare Disorder, ARFID, and PTSD... Sleep and me do not get a long well. Honestly reading sleep related whumps gets a chuckle out of me, because I experience a tremendous portion of the stuff written down. So here are some whumps inspired by my own sleep deprived curse.
-Whumpee being a painfully light sleeper. Perhaps the sound of footsteps or drop of a pen is enough to wake them. Is Caretaker feeling ashamed every time they wake them? Is Whumper annoyed or enjoying of this trait?
-Just sleep deprivation in general. Whumpee’s head bobbing as they lull in and out of sleep. Whumpee’s reactions becoming increasingly delayed. A strict inability to focus.
-Not being able to stay asleep, but also not being able to stay awake
-Thrashing around and crying aloud in one’s sleep
-Nightmares waking whumpee not just during the night, but any time they sleep (because that’s how nightmare disorder usually works)
-Whumpee moving too harshly in their sleep, reopening a wound or pulling against a terrible sore
-Whumpee letting out a bloodcurdling scream as they wake, and becoming very embarrassed immediately afterwards
-Caretaker calming whumpee within their arms, while whumpee freaks from night hallucinations
-Sleep paralysis versions of whumper
-Whumpee attacking Caretaker as they wake them
-Sleep deprivation catching up in a very very slow manner, as Whumpee sleeps in little intervals, losing hour by hour. One day a night’s rest won’t simply be enough
-”Sleeping” the most of several days away after succumbing to a terrible fit of sleep deprivation

no no. you don't get it. the reason I injure my blorbos until they can't walk is because that's the only way they'll ever let someone else carry them. the reason I curse them to be sick and feverish is so that they'll finally open up about their emotions while delirious. the reason I force them to overexert themselves to the point of exhaustion is so that when they pass out they can finally rest.
I'm doing this for their own good.
