been rewatching the good place and i know chidi gives a whole reason for why he's willing to help eleanor out of the blue in season 3 (after his near-death experience, michael told him that he should help the next person who asks him to)

These kinds of apologies always end up ringing hollow and, I think its because they ultimately pass it off as disrespecting the individual not the larger problem at play. He's sorry to me, and thats good, it was shitty and I'm glad he can acknowledge that, but you're still defending the use of bro and dude in a "gender neutral way" despite the fact they're inherently gendered terms. He acknowledges how sis and gurl make him uncomfortable even when used in a "gender neutral way" which again, is bullshit, and I'm betting dollars to donuts the reason it makes him uncomfortable is because they're fucking gendered.

No one argues with trans men when they say don't call me girl, when they say that sis is gendered because its obvious, clear as day. These are gendered terms and no one doubts that. But the minute trans women say the same about dude or bro, its just a common term of endearment, its not gendered, its just common slang.

This is why I can't accept an apology because despite recognising hurt was done to me you can't recognise that you using those terms was the problem, not that you didn't check my bio or a caard (which I don't have because listing ways to hurt me is a bad thing to do, and because using gendered terms shouldn't be the norm so I shouldn't have to say don't call me dude. It should be opt in!)

You're sorry and thats great but unless you're willing to acknowledge that using those terms as standard is the harmful thing, then you're just looking for a pass from each individual trans person you hurt, instead of addressing the root cause. And I have too much love for my sisters to give you that

You know how Hiccup comes out of the water (in the submariper episode, forgetting the name) and he's all ready to go dragon's blazing at Viggo, but he's barely able to stand straight and Fishlegs is just like "I got you, I got you" in the softest voice ever? That shit is GOLD! I feel that once the riders tried to go after Viggo, Hiccup was just resting on Fishlegs. Maybe Fishlegs is sitting down with Meatlug as backrest, toothless cooing concernly and Hiccup's just curled up on Fishlegs (maybe on his lap, can totally imagine that) trying to catch his breath. Like damn that's the sight the riders come back to. That shit is just making me happy stim!

YES! That was an incredible moment in Dire Straits. Hiccup, you just had a near-drowning and are barely standing as it is! You are not flight-ready! And based off Toothless’ body language, he was not going to let Hiccup on his back. 

Also, I agree. Hiccup probably did not remain standing for long. So, lying on Fishlegs is the best alternative. While he could lie on Toothless, we can assume Toothless wants to keep his eyes on Hiccup’s face as much as possible. 

It is a very lovely thought!!! 

I assume they held him a lot on their way back to Berk on that ship, partly to reassure themselves that he was okay.

Oh gods I have no idea of irl queer culture in India, I'm a hermit lmao. I'm pretty sure there are lgbt friendly bars and all. I hope I find out in three years until you turn 18

Age of drinking in most places is 21. It differs from state to state. In some states, it's completely banned, in some it's 25, in some it's 18. Entry in the bar might be 18. But they might have higher one for lgbt ones if they are there.

Alright did check online later and there are bars that host lgbt events but outright gay bars are not found online due to safety concerns
