I just wanted to draw Ed with Aloy's hair, and now we have an Our Flag Means Death x Horizon Zero Dawn crossover on our hands.

Sad AU below:

One of the occuring holograms Ed keeps finding in the world is Stede, a scientist of the past who (maybe?) worked on the history and knowledge archive Apollo. Stede talks about his work, passions and dreams, his challenges and fears about the inevitable Zero Day.

During his journey Ed finds more bits and pieces and little by little he falls in love with this driven, charming, fascinating person, a voice from the past. Who was dead for a thousand years now. 💔

Until he finds the final log saying that Stede and others are ready to go to cryosleep in one of the bunkers deep under the mountain, hoping that the power cells will keep them alive for however long.

And when Ed finally reaches that bunker - the whole facility is shutting down, power supply is almost at zero with just one pod still functioning. GUESS WHO'S IN THAT POD ❤️

Today I went with my son (10) to the library and they were making badges with the kids out of the trans, intersex, genderqueer, or progressive flags. You could also choose to make a pronoun badge or a "Terf-be-gone" badge.

But no, there's no ideological pressure on children here.

They also had stickers that said "Be Trans, Do Crime"

They did not have the lesbian, bisexual, gay, or original pride flags.

Honestly, I hate the take "Kieran is whiny" since imo the kid is having a pretty understandable reaction when the DLC is laser-focused on giving him a mental breakdown.

Like, his sister does care for him, but can be belittling and overbearing towards him, he's likely ostracized a bit by the other kids and villagers since he admired Ogerpon when the rest of them fear her (on top of generally just being shy), he finds out his family and first friend are lying and hiding things from him about something he's always been fixated on, we're fueling his self-esteem issues by constantly crushing him in battle, and on top of that, we basically steal his lifelong dream out from under his nose even tho we've only just found out Ogerpon existed a couple days ago. (When there's a fair chance it will just rot away in our PC anyway.)

Is it any wonder he snaps bad? I don't think anyone would want to be in that kind of position. 😓
