Hello Transformers fans! As you can see the title, this is my first post on Tumblr. So today I'll be talking about Transformers...Transformers 𝘗𝘳𝘪𝘮𝘦 to be exact. And this is about a certain ship...a popular one.... So ever since I rewatched TFP and found out that fanfictions exists, like character x reader and blah blah blah, I noticed something and I was like...ok nice, until I saw it all over the internet. Wattpad, DeviantArt, Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok, Tumblr, YouTube, and more...let's say I got a bit...annoyed. And I'm talking about a certain ship, the Knockout and Breakdown ship. The 'popular' ship that has been going around, and I keep seeing it on my fyp. This '𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱' all ppl would call has made me disgusted. AF. I heard that there's some kind of comic where Knockout and Breakdown are 'married', and people saying that its '𝘤𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘰𝘯', pissed me off. I've seen WAYYY too many stuff like that. Because first of all, Knockout is the Decepticon medic (as you all should obviously know, for those of you who watched TFP) and breakdown is his assistance. Those two are just friends, literally just friends. And idk why tf you people ship these two. Like, imagine getting shipped with 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘰𝘸𝘯 friend/buddy or assistant or whatever. But I have a question, 𝘞𝘏𝘖 even MADE that comic? With Knockout and Breakdown being married and stuff? First of all they're Cybertronians, and they could be asexual. For those of you who watched Transformers Prime, there's that one episode in season 3 ep 7 (Plus One), where Knockout says. "Frankly, I find it 𝘳𝘦𝘱𝘭𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘷𝘦. The whole idea of you fleshies...𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘢𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘨". Now I'm not sure but I think 'interfacing' means....'sex' in the Cybertronian terms (correct me if I'm wrong). And I've seen some...Knockout and Breakdown fanarts that...have NSFW...and boy I was 𝘖𝘉𝘝𝘐𝘖𝘜𝘚𝘓𝘠 𝘿𝙄𝙎𝙂𝙐𝙎𝙏𝙀𝘿. 𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗟𝗨𝗦𝗘𝗗. 𝗟𝗜𝗞𝗘 𝗪𝗧𝗙. First of all they're 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗦 for Primus's sake. Second of all they are 𝘔𝘈𝘓𝘌, and what makes you think that males would do...𝘛𝘏𝘈𝘛?! They don't have a vagina! And third of all, they are 𝗡𝗢𝗧 together, idgaf what you people say, claiming that its 'cannon'. Wtf? And I believe that all Cybertronians 𝘢𝘳𝘦 asexual. And I've seen something like a character in RID named 'Wildbreak' is KO and BD's 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥?! 𝗪𝗧𝗙?! 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗜𝗦 𝗠𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗗 𝗨𝗣. Now the reason why I freaking 𝗛𝗔𝗧𝗘 this 'ship' so much is that I am a huge ass simp for Knockout and Breakdown's in the way. I don't understand, what makes you fans think that this 'ship' is cute? I don't understand why I hate things society loves, and they hate what I love? For example, I hate dogs (sorry dog lovers), and yet they are the most popular pets. I love horses...but not many people love them that much. This is why I hate people. This is why I hate the society and everything. This world is so messed up. Now idc what people say about me hating on this ship,(maybe I do cre cuz I want to STOP this ship) I don't ship any TFP character with anyone, and neither do my friends. My friends recently watched TFP and if they find out about this Knockout and Breakdown 'ship', they're gonna be 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗳. KO and BD and 𝗡𝗢𝗧 together in 𝘛𝘏𝘈𝘛 way in the show, and whoever made that IDW comic is an idiot (I would have given a worse insult, but I chose not to). 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗬. 𝗔𝗥𝗘. 𝗡𝗢𝗧. 𝗖𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗡. Only friends, and that's it. And plus, poor Breakdown died thanks to that ugly Airachnid. Oh and, another reason why I hate this ship is because I love Knockout, but I hate Breakdown. And that IS actually messed up (sorry BD lovers). So I guess that's it for today. I hope I'm not the only Knockout x Breakdown ship hater. Haters will hate. Deal with it 😐. Have a good day people.

I've been wanting to write/draw stories about Chuuya joining ADA for a while now but my sketches are all very unorganised throughout a timeline I have in my head. So I will take this opportunity to rant about my headcanon of the possibility alternate universe that Asagiri hinted at the end of Beast: "leaves the Port Mafia and follows Dazai"

'Take this opportunity' because Tumblr has unlimited characters and I'm basically talking to air where I can comfortably get it off my mind and archive my ideas. Nobody is going to read this.

In my head, they are two possible ways this can play out:

Like Beast, shifting reality with the power of the book

No book, have Dazai manipulate the situation so Chuuya leaves Port Mafia

Like Beast, shifting reality with the power of the book

Beast AU Dazai had the knowledge of what happens in other realities or at least from the 'original' which is the main storyline. That means:

Dazai knows Paul Verlaine will come

Paul Verlaine would kill the Flags

The book still require some coherent storyline for it to shift reality. So with the power of the book Dazai can write that Chuuya knew that if he stayed in the Mafia, Paul Verlaine would come and kill the Flags. For the sake of the Flags, Chuuya would leave the Port Mafia along with Dazai.

Do they go straight to the ADA after this? Would ADA be able to prevent the catastrophe Verlaine would bring?

ADA has Yosano and Ranpo on board so I'd think they have a chance? Plus they would have plenty more time to prepare for Verlaine's arrival (get the damn Special Ability Division on board if they have to)

Dazai & Chuuya: We bring trouble to you all please adopt us

Fukuzawa: wtf

Which is why I had this headcanon drawn, of what Chuuya would wear if he made it into ADA at the age of 16 after the King of Assassin event. I posted on my Instagram with plans for a redraw in the future

There are undoubtedly consequences to this reality shift with the biggest one being the Flags surviving but becoming Chuuya's enemy

Chuuya would stay with the ADA since he "betrayed the Mafia" for the Flags? But at the same time he becomes their enemy? But he also can't really explain to them why he had to do what he had done? Because it doesn't matter either way they were going to be enemies? And Chuuya is fine with it because he cares for the Flags and didn't mind seen as the enemy CAUSE THAT'S THE KIND OF THING HE DOES LIKE WITH SHIRASE AND THE SHEEP-

Now I actually prefer this storyline than the one with the book because this has to happen after the death of the Flags and Odasaku - cements the reason for Dazai to leave the Mafia. Which makes it even more challenging for ADA Chuuya to happen but that's where✨character development✨ kicks in. If Akutagawa can join the ADA in Beast no doubt my boy Chuuya can.

The kick starter of this event will begin on the night Dazai choose to disappear from the organisation. Remember that whole blowing up Chuuya's car thing? There's a headcanon Dazai did that so Chuuya wouldn't go look for him which may arouse suspicion upon Chuuya and Dazai.

Well let's say Dazai choose NOT to blow up that car, Chuuya goes to look for him, and the dominoes starts tumbling from there.

So Dazai manage to find Chief Taneda, Chairman of the Special Ability Division. This wasn't animated in the anime but the light novel mentioned about a drinking competition between the two? And Taneda would help Dazai find a legal job if he win or something- I don't remember who won but I'd like to imagine Chuuya stomping in at this moment-

"How would Chuuya know where to find hi-" I'd ask the same in Dead Apple but they got some connection or something, they can sniff each other from miles away I guess.

Anyway, Chuuya stomping in for an explanation but he wouldn't act recklessly if the Chief of Special Ability Division is around. Now it's Dazai's turn to pull some strings around here because as you imagine, drinking competition + Chuuya's lightweight = hangover and a potential plot expansion

Chuuya: *blackout*

Dazai: Actually.....do you mind introducing a job for both of us? :)

Now this is rather non-consensual but Dazai will need to pull some similar shit like he did with the Sheep to get Chuuya out of PM, probably even more extreme. They are both the pillars of the Port Mafia. One executive running away is shit but at least one half of Soukoku is in PM which balances out, in the original timeline.

But two of them gone? Now Mori feels the heat of trouble, he wouldn't sit still.

Mori, as the leader of PM, he wouldn't doubt Chuuya's loyalty. Chuuya has proven himself within the 4 years of Mafia life. All he has to do is wait for Chuuya to return with an explanation and all will be well.

Chuuya's loyalty is not easily wavered. Dazai alone is not enough to change Chuuya's mind, this is where the ADA comes in. (Assuming Kunikida is still a math teacher) Fukuzawa, Ranpo and Yosano would play an important role.

Fukuzawa: The strongest cage is not of steel but of mind.

Hello there anon! I don't mind at all 💖 but what a time to be new to st, aw man. My condolences. (I am mostly kidding. But also, not really.)

First things first, i promise you, it's not always like this. Generally we're way more chill here on tumblr. I can't vouch for other sites, but if you don't want their identities spoiled and be around very chill people, stay here. Avoid pinterest and google and, for your own mental health, tiktok and twitter. (First two will guarantee an identity reveal and former two will guarantee that + psychic damage.)

Back to the drama!! So, you probably know they're anonymous. And VERY adamant on staying this way. If you check their very first interview or the voice messages from the 2023 US tour, you would see what i mean. Their identities are not important, their art is.

But. Some entitled little shit found their anonymity is a personal insult to them or something. So they decided to publish iii's birth certificate and some other personal info + there was something about them wanting to stalk iii (i really don't know the details, because i got rid of my twitter account a few months prior, but it was definitely vile behaviour). And it's. Not a very legal thing to do. I mean, if you're really curious, you could google them and find their identities in less than 5 minutes, no extremely personal info release needed. What i am trying to say, this is the 21st century, you're not some kind of sherlock to find personal info about anyone, no need to boast. Or, you know. Do illegal things to prove a point, because you feel entitled to someone's identity.

So, as a result, iii deleted and/or made his socials private (the ones related to his st activity, anyway). It is not the first time he did that, because people were getting too straightforward or rude before too, just not on that scale. It all happened a few days ago (2? I have no perception of time passing, sorry). It was understandable, he got doxxed, he did what had to be done to protect himself. Another drama started when the main band account removed all its posts on instagram today and changed the description to "nothing lasts forever". Which is a catchphrase they use from their very beginning, so it is not a worrying thing in itself. However, the circumstances have made people believe the whole band will disband (not dismember, alex, do not write dismembered AGAIN), because of the invasion of iii's privacy.

However, in the end, i believe the consensus is that since they have changed their masks for the Wembley show and had the "new era" captions (+ other bands tend to do that too), the insta post purge is just a PR tactic before the new era's introduction. Which i am prone to believe, really. They are mysterious, sure, but if something is happening (like iii needing to leave the German rituals in December because of personal reasons), the band notifies the fans about it. So if they were to disband, or iii was to leave, they would just communicate this. They didn't, so we're waiting for their next move, whatever is might be.

But i don't think they're going anywhere. They have finished their trilogy with the latest album, so Wembley was the best way to end it all, as a finished project. It didn't happen. They already have 2024 tour dates announced, so we know they're not done. So it's all fine, just unfortunate timing/their legal team telling them to do that/their way of showing they're done with annoying people/just a new era's insta purge. Or something else, which they would soon inform us about, if they want to.

All we can do is wait for more news and keep supporting them in our own ways. And not stress about it 🖤

VTuber Re-Starter Kit (2023)

Who knows wtf Twitter is gonna look like by the end of the year? Twitter, YouTube, Twitch, Tumblr, and all the other cesspits? I’ve got it all covered! Social media is changing and we must change with it. I’m so tired god please weh

Twitter is in free fall. Panic ensues. Valid. Many of us need that hellsite. Badly. It’s imperfect trash, but its *our* trash, understand? Fuck these “alternatives”. They are all noise right now. Cohost doesn’t allow commercial activity in its TOS, Mastodon has low engagement right now. Twitter Blue is here to stay. As VTubers, we all benefit from having it, actually. For $8/mo, you will be prioritized and boosted with mentions and replies. This means that threads and replies to you bump you up on the TL. Even if you pay for it, Lists and Twitter Circles are still a good idea. Heck, rotate people out of Twitter Circles to make sure you’re able to talk to more people. Continue to use Twitter to network by providing value to others and help others in their journey. Be chill and don’t use people for clout--it’s disingenuous. Treat people like people.

I can’t guarantee that things will be the same here on Twitter and neither can anyone else. The current data sets I see from clients and others may show that not much is changing, but this site is changing every day. We need to play it day by day and not worry too much about it.

Twitter has shops, utilize tf out of the business features. Given how much of a mess the site is with its daily tweaks and the loss of valuable engineers at Twitter, things could be topsy-turvy. Who knows? Be active!

This being said, you shouldn’t rely on Twitter alone. It’s not good for your business nor is it good for growing your brand recognition. So I’ll list where to go and the use cases. Don’t use this list to go to literally every place. There’s just not enough time in a day to maintain it all.

Instagram

Don’t make Insta your mainstay. Please, for the love of God don’t. Everything wrong with FB is still wrong with Insta with the added bonus of it being Diet Tik Tok. That being said, it still is a good networking tool and can help your sales with its shop features (for businesses/brands/media that don’t want to use Twitter). So what to do with Insta? Repost your Tik Toks and hit it n quit it. Post your schedule (3:2 format, crop down with 1:1 squares and schedule out posts to upload your schedule). Update your stories with important things (they’re pinned tweets basically). Have a link in your profile and reply to people when you can. Use relevant hashtags and hashtags that aren’t super saturated. GL;HF

Not a Twitter replacement

SEO can be a benefit (technical jargon I’ll save you from), but you must remain authentic. What works on Twitter doesn’t fly on Tumblr. You will not get traction from doing what you do here.

Pay attention to etiquette. You can have assholes, but many are willing to joke as if nothing had happened. Be consistent by liking and reblogging things. Turn off your brain and follow blogs and tags that are up your alley and QUEUE up things to keep posting throughout the day. Tumblr humor is ironic, but not irony-poisoned. It’s punny and quirky and you must kill the chains that bind your inner cringe. Truly be yourself, share your personal thoughts more (it's a blogging site ffs), share your fandom of things, and things’ll be okay.

Also important on the ettiquite as a first tip: dont act like you do on Twitter. Its a different audience and the normal ways of crossposting wont work here. This is not Twitter. Tumblr is a blogging site where blogs share each other and it is fandom-heavy (meaning sharing who your favorite oshii is for example and hyping up others). It comes naturally. Be yourself and focus on building up a presence on your blog to give people a good idea of who tf you are. Nobody is really a celebrity here and you can't act like you are here. I made another mega thread for this, read it later. YouTube should be one of your mainstays as a VTUBER. It’s more work, yes, but they also have Community Posting for everyone now. Scaling up your brand and having better brand recognition is crucial here. As you post more videos, ALWAYS improve your pacing, thumbnails, and titles.

Twitch

We know it. We love it. Consistency is key. Start with Rule of 3s: 3 days/week, 3 hours/day, 3 social media outlets. This is a general rule for a reason, but it's a good minimum to start with because I’ve seen too many clients in deep need. If you need to start half an hour later to catch your regular audience, then do so. Starting out, you need consistent numbers, engagement, and retention. I’ll explain later, but you want to do what you can to increase production value and give more interactables for chat to use.

Advice for partners, you need to continue to carry the momentum to scale. By this point, you likely know what it is you need to do, but perhaps there’s a discrepancy with engagement or retention, or god knows what that holds your audience back. Collabs help, but not as much as you’d like. This comes with raids being a nice networking tool funnily enough. Raid people with similar content and vibe as you to continue to network with people. Switching audiences and using adjacent categories to find that audience may be what you need.

This is all hard to determine for partners so plainly on social media without analyzing data, audience, content, branding/design, and personality. There’s a lot that goes into your churn (how many folks you lose in your audience on average). Fixing that can either require optimization and turning your personality up to 11 more consistently and differently, but also can mean taking a leap into faith with a “big risk, big reward mentality”. One thing I know works would be the optimization tweaks here and there by looking at data (or not looking at all and just gathering feedback from your audience and friends and staying objective and factual), and diversification on different platforms so more can know who you are.

Try tools like Streambee to simplify the VOD review process Streamloots to increase engagement and have better monetization TITS, VRChat, and curation to invite viewers with “planned exclusivity” rather than total exclusivity (how you do this is up to you).

Discord Not really a social media site

Great for talking and engaging your community and breeding loyalty. VTubers need fewer “groups”, fewer individual servers, and more community servers where you can pool your resources and hype each other up. Effectively make use of what Stream Teams are good for and raise each other up.

Monetization

Use Kofi for tips, a shop, comms

Use Gumroad for another shop that has more discoverability

Use Patreon for memberships to slowly phase out Twitch subs. Be creative and have fun with Patreon rewards

Use Streamloots and have fun with it

Understanding Storytelling

You are reading a book… you cannot put it down… you tune out the world… you are immersed in the story you hold in your hands… tick, tick, tick, tick… you glance at the clock, it is late and past your bedtime… you sigh heavily… you reluctantly put the book down… you go to bed… you sigh heavily… you cannot sleep… your mind is trapped… you cannot escape… you sit up… breathing rapidly, you turn on the bedside lamp… you pick up the book… you become immersed once more… tick, tick, tick…

Damn, I love books like that, don’t you? Have you read a story that ended well, or, that ended horribly? What about a cliffhanger? The “they lived happily ever after” ending is a horrible ending. What happens next? Will something happen to disrupt the happily ever after? The WTF? endings are enraging, are they not? I mean, the time invested in a great story that you expect to have a satisfying end and in the end, well, if you ever met the author at a book signing event, you would tell him or her your thoughts. Are you an avid reader that never wants a saga to end? Ah, yes. I know that feeling all too well. It is exhilarating when you start imagining what would happen next. Your heart races; your breathe rapidly and then… the excitement abandons you instantly when doubts clean house and settle in. “I can’t write,” you tell yourself. “I suck at it! My story would be stupid and unreal any way.”

Psst… do you want to hear a secret? Come here. Yeah. You. Come closer. The secret about writing is that anyone can write a story, and I mean it. You do not need to be highly educated to write. The only required skill is discipline.

“What the f*** are you talking about, Char?”

Before I explain, let me shoo away the crickets.

When you post on social media, you are telling a story. When you text someone about something you just witnessed, heard, or a person you encountered, you are telling that someone a story. Your words are visualized by whomever sees your posts or whomever receives your texts.

Damn, the crickets are loud. Allow me to explain.

You stop whatever you are doing to post a comment or to write a text. You concentrate when you type, do you not? You have disciplined yourself to “write” your message. Your words are visualized, if not accompanied with a photo or emoji. The tone comes across however you intended and you will surely get a response whether or not you are known by the person commenting on your post.

History is told with paintings, still and moving pictures, and words as are events today. Your favorite television programs, including reality shows, movies, and documentaries, even YouTube shows (not all) have written scripts, your social media posts included. There are stories told all the time, but if you want to become a writer of books or screenplay, you must have discipline.

How and What to Discipline

My technique for writing is if I think it, I write it down. I carry a notepad and pen in my purse and wherever I go, I will see something work noting and I document it. Think of it as a daily journal. I reference it all and use it for character building of persons and places. This system works and you should practice this technique. Grammar and spelling is not important.

The wheels in my mind constantly turn like a waterwheel. I frequent movie theaters or my sofa to watch a good movie, my favorite genres to watch are historically accurate movies and horror. I am addicted to science fiction - Star Wars - though. My books fall in the horror genre. I combine history with fantasy, like the novel written by Seth Grahame-Smith, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. I love the movie and the book. My friends, this is what writing is supposed to be like if you have a good imagination.

Willpower is discipline. I do not post often on Instagram or Facebook because it keeps those who follow me on the edge of their seats wondering what book I will publish next. I am on Tumblr daily because I write blogs for my photography (including photos), I write movie reviews, and I now give writing advice to help aspiring writers. Writing and posting blogs strengthens my skills and it is a great way to prevent writer’s block. Staying away from social media prevents me from becoming trapped in a drama rabbit hole that I cannot get out of. This took a little getting use to, but now, I refuse to allow it consume me.

Starting A Book

The first step is to write a brief description about your story, what you currently have in mind. Do not change anything at this time, just write down your idea. Then think about your characters, but without a personality. For example:

A magic forest with mystical animals, magic flowers and plants, and fairies. Humans are not allowed in because they are known to destroy beautiful things for power and money. The fairies protect the forest and prevent humans from discovering this magic place. A male fairy falls in love with a human girl and he visits her nightly after she falls asleep. The girl sees him and falls in love with him, but she thinks, she knows, he is not real and loves only his vision. She cannot love anyone because she cannot stop thinking about him. This causes a boy who likes her to become angry and jealous of someone that is not real. The angry boy tries to control her, ruin her, but the fairy comes to her rescue.

The example above is how you would get your idea on paper. Leave it alone and do not look at it again. Sometimes the story seems cheesy after you have written, but you can make changes later. Now, you should create characters.

Protagonists - the boy fairy and the human girl.

The boy fairy will look like a young Brad Pitt (you can describe him when you write him in the story). The strongest fairy warrior, very loving being.

The human girl is extremely beautiful with silky long brown hair, emerald green eyes, and fair skin. Her lips are naturally rosy and soft. She is the kindest person.

Antagonist - the jealous human boy.

The human boy will look like a stereotypical 80’s movie high school jock. Blonde hair, smug face, cocky attitude, and arrogant.

Describing your characters like this is a good start and you can make changes later. These first steps give your story life, you cannot stop now.

Let me stop here for now, I do not want to be overwhelming. In my next blog post, I will explain why this process is less intimidating compared to other professional writers. I will show you how to add a location, and supporting characters.

But anyway - hello!

I will be sharing today - one of my favorite things - advice on manifesting what you want to happen for you in this lifetime!

So! Without further adue- (is that how you spell it, French people?) Here is my blog on the subject! (At least for tonight haha, today is November 17th , 2023!)

So - manifesting! Have you heard of that term? It means - “bringing into reality / making your dreams come true!”

Manifesting your dreams therefore means - you guessed it - bringing your dreams from the dream realm - into your real life realm! (Turning your fantasy into reality!)

I’m serious, dawg! It’s happened to me - so that’s how I know! - So I don’t want to hear it! Lol! Jk - but I mean it tho!

So - I have manifested many-a-thing. Including - my dream boyfriend! (YES , I mean it - like he is the LITERAL GUY I wanted for SO LONG - the man I fantasized about in bed - before it actually happened! OMG - crazy - right!? NO! Because it’s fucking real! Now listen dawg…)

So here’s the story - so - years ago - I had wished for a guy with long hair down to his ass - a gorgeous one - that I literally would marry!

(We didn’t get married yet but that’s not the point!)

Years after I wished for that (YES, YEARS AFTER), I met this guy at work - named Devon (I literally remember thinking in bed one day - years before this happened - that his name would start with a damn D?!! WTF!!) - and was soooo cute! I loved him aaaaaaaaaaa! He was literally so adorable, I can’t even tell you!

But anyway - he was my type - shy - quiet - an asshole! Hahahha - just kidding Devon, I love you! No, but - maybe a lil bit. Lmao! (Sorry baby - I love you!)

But anyway he looked exactly like the kind of guy I would want to date tbh! So ummmm, so I talked to him as much as I could, even though he scared the shit out of me! He just had this intense stare of like - hate towards everybody - lmaooo! I can’t explain it but - if you experienced it before - then you probably know what I’m talking about haha!

He was just like - very anti-social and quiet - but I liked him anyway! Every time I talked to him - he was always nice to me! So that’s good haha!

Except for that one time at work - where I asked him where the cheese was during a rush (we worked in a kitchen at BDubs) - and we went in the walk-in fridge and he started kicking shit out of anger - and then I cried because I was scared that he hated me (he didn’t see that tho…) Oopsie Devon! You bitch! Lmao! Jk - I still love you!

Except for that one time - he was a really nice guy! Ummmm, so far hahaha!

But then after two weeks of working with him he walked-out and quit! Oh no! Fuck! He was the hottest guy at work and then I was so disappointed and mad tbh, lmaooo! Mostly because I had to do his job and mine - two weeks into my new fucking job - ahhhh!!!!!

I didn’t even know how to make nachos - and they still had me do it - all by myself - even in a rush! WTF!!! I had just started!!! Those bastards couldn’t hire someone!? Fine! So I did it all by myself!!!! (I’m serious - I was so mad wtf!)

But anyway - a few months go by - then I walk out too! Cuz I’m tired of working two peoples jobs - when I literally asked them to hire my two friends - and they just wouldn’t! WTF!

So yeah! That’s why I quit that one~! Hahahaha…

But! I think a few more months go by - or weeks!? I don’t even remember hahahaha I’m so sorry - but - it wasn’t too long…

But one night - I was thinking about Devon - in bed - by myself - and I was like damn - he was so cute! I miss him! - and I was taking out loud to myself and I went “Well, if he liked me, I’m sure he’d let me know!”

AND I SHIT YOU NOT!!!! I SHIT YOU NOT - he literally followed me on my instagram - THE NEXT MORNING! LMAOOO!! NO FUCKING WAY!

Yes, it’s true - this is the fucking facts of my life y’all! It’s literally all over my old YouTube channel!

That moment is what you’d call a serendipitous synchronicity! A moment of WTF and mystery - and a moment of - how the fuck is this even happening right now!? (It kind of felt like a dream I’m NGL!)

And the rest I’m going to keep from you - because it took about a year for us to get together - but I blocked him two weeks after he followed me - because I messaged him and we started taking but then he pissed me off - so I blocked him and cried about it!

But yeah - before that happened - me and him planned to meet at the park - but we couldn’t find each other (and I had to walk there.) But that’s not why I blocked him, so - blocked him because he pissed me off because I told him I liked him - and then he told me he wasn’t ready for a relationship right now (he kept talking about his ex gf and how much he missed her prior to this - and told me that he was crying blah blah blah.) (That was his only gf so I am giving him a fucking break in this one, but still - goddamn bitch!)

They had broken up a few years prior to that so I was like - wow. But they were together for three years and I can’t even imagine being in a relationship that long - so I can’t sympathize 100 percent… but I tried, goddamn it!

But yeah - I blocked him because of that ( even though I probably shouldn’t have told him I liked him the day after he cried to me about his ex gf, I think he just needed a friend tbh - but I wasn’t being a friend - I was being a thirsty bitch! Hahaha goddamn it!)

But to be fair he was flirting with me and it really mad me angry! So yeah! Kudos to past me! Muahahahha!

But anyway - even though he was a beautiful guy - I blocked his ass and cried about it immediately after - because after I blocked him - I unblocked him but then found out that he blocked me, too. (To be fair , after I told him I liked him I went ahead and told him I would just go fuck this other guy instead (he was hot too…))

Goddamn, maybe I was a damn bitch….oh well.

But anyway!

Me and that other guy met one time (I think it was a few days after or something, but we never saw each other again, and no we didn’t fuck, just hung out and shit, didn’t even kiss the guy.)

But yeah. So that’s why I blocked him ~!

But then! After that second guy kind of hurt me because he didn’t text me back after we hung out (maybe it’s because I pointed out this girls choker in his fucking car!?) IDK if he had a gf or what but - ew.

I was like sad and shit - but then I was like - fuck men! So I stayed single after that.

I just wanted my soulmate tbh.

But honestly - the dating sites weren’t working - and I was bored.

So I messaged Devon on his Facebook account like (two to four) months after I blocked him hahaha!

He didn’t reply for two weeks - but then he saw it and replied ( I think he didn’t see it because we weren’t friends - either that or he was ignoring me but idc I understand tbh!)

But he messaged me back and we started talking - I tried not to be clingy this time - but when I wanted him to message me first - he didn’t. So I was like wow, why should I message you first if you don’t message me first!? The fuck!

But I don’t think that technique worked… because I went a few weeks without messaging him - and then I messaged him once after that and I saw that he had blocked me.

I was like “NOoOoOooO!!!” And I cried - I’m sorry I’m just a sappy lil bitch tbh - even though it’s my own fault cuz I blocked the guy first!

Hahahhaha oh lord.

But anyway - I cried for a few days because I still had a crush on him and all that… but after that happened - I told myself that he just needed time. I told myself that he was going through something and wouldn’t just block me out of nowhere for nothing. (Which ended up being the truth - he was indeed going through something.)

So - months and months and months go by - maybe six months? Seven months? I don’t know how many! Maybe five? I’m not good at math nor time - sorry folks.

But anyway - months go by - and during those months - I was vigorously masterbating to him.

Yes, I mean every damn day!

I mean it.

But anyway - I imagined him massaging me in my bed with lotion all over my back - making it nice and relaxing and romantic.

I imagined him eating me out and plowing the shit out of my vagina hole.

And I mean it, too!

Anyway - I told myself not to worry - and that if he really liked me that much - that he would unblock me eventually.

Low and behold - the day comes - I’m browsing my Facebook messenger - and I see his bubble was online!

I was like - why would his bubble be online to me if he has me blocked still - that seems dumb.

So I clicked on his bubble and it took me to his profile - which wouldn’t happen if you’re blocked. (IK you already know this, ladies and gentlemen, hahaha jk!)

But anyway - I clicked on it and I was so happy because I was like OMG no way - he finally unblocked me after how many months!?

So I didn’t message him that day - I waited for him to do - which was unrealistic and he didn’t end up doing anything - so like a week or two goes by and then I decide to message him!

I was like “Hey Devon - so - why did you block me - I thought I told you that I was going through some emotional stuff and I thought you had forgiven me for that already?”

Then he said something like “Yeah I’m sorry - I don’t really know why I did that.”

And I was like “Sure you do, buddy! I know I blocked you first and I know it’s my own fault - but I’m very sorry and I hope you understand that I liked you and wanted to be your friend - I was just going through a lot emotionally at the time.”

And he told me he understood, and he told me something along the lines of “I think you are a wonderful person - I am sorry if I hurt you - I didn’t mean to.”

And inside I felt so happy because I thought that was sweet…

So we talked - and talked - and talked - and then every day after that - I messaged him - not caring who was first to do it anymore. I guess I just liked him that much or something haha. But he always messaged me back and didn’t leave me on read or anything.

So that’s good.

So I think a month of that goes by - and then I finally ask him if he wants to hang out with me - and he says yes.

(Remember when I told you I couldn’t find him at the park? He thought I stood him up - and I thought he had stood me up, too. That was also before I told him I liked him. Probably not a good plan to tell him after that , and the fact that he cried about his ex the night before. But whatever - I was thirsty - he was hot - what can I say? LMAO And guys - he did tell me he thought I was very attractive (before I blocked him and before he blocked me lol) - so I know he didn’t think I was ugly so that’s definitely not it.)

So here is another weird coincidence : also called a serendipitous moment - also called a synchronicity - meaning that we are synchronized!

Before the day we hung out - I had asked myself - “what would that moment be like?”

So, I had imagined that moment - and guess what? The very thing I had imagined and hoped for - became the ultimate reality that day that we hung out.

To the very T.

(Which is also why it weirds me out a little - but it’s also very beautiful - if you ask me~!)

I mean to the damn T - the energy was the same - and before we hung out I hoped that he would ask to buy me a coffee (which he did ask me if he could get me one one day!) Plus - I had hoped that he would hang out with me every week after that (which he had said to me - something along the lines of: “We should make it a tradition to see each other every week, or something.”)

But yeah now we’re dating.

(We didn’t get to see each other every week after that - but we did see each other - and I am very happy that he’s a blessing in my life now. He is a dream come true and I have told him this - and he had also told me that he had sex dreams about me and about us dating before it actually happened.)

We were friends for a few months after we first hung out - and then I told him: (“What are we doing here? I like you. And I need to know if you like me too. And if not , tell me now.”)

Then he told me he was confused too and then we talked about it - and then I invited him to a sleepover. The rest is personal - but honestly we’re dating now. So the rest is history.

However, he does remind me of a character I made up in my head, whom I said had long dark hair, and who would be my husband one day.

Like I said - this was so many years ago - probably about four or so years ago that I made up that fantasy.

And I told myself he’d like to read too - which he does! Which is crazy to me! Now all I have to do is make him gothic and he will literally be the exact match to my fantasy many years ago. (He does like gothic stuff so I don’t think that’ll be too hard.)

But yeah that’s the story of me and my boyfriend - omg I missed a detail!

I remember - the day after we officially got together - the next day Devon had told me that his brother had got an engagement ring for his girlfriend and that he was going to ask her to marry her!

Now, I don’t know what to expect from this book besides that there is a side that is normal and another that’s magically gifted. I’ve done my absolute best to avoid any spoilers for any of the books in case I do choose to read them on Reddit, Twitter, Instagram, and even here on our home base Tumblr! I even do my best as well to not spoil it for any of you as. I drop little hits that’s possibly in the book and leave the imagination up to you in hopes that you also read it. But let’s get into some chapters that I read today!

After reading the recently released chapters, I gotta say that my speculations were spot on! 🥳 I mean, I knew that they’d want MC for something. I was ready for this outcome but what threw me off was wanting MC to prove herself…😑 Come on Vesper, last I checked you need MC not the other way around. As far as I’m concerned she doesn’t need to prove anything to anyone. And don’t even get me STARTED on the LIs. Welcome to a new beau to the plot: Lucien. And he is literally one sexy ass vampire. Sexier than Vlad…*coughs* I mean, I’m just saying. You gotta get a look at this guy—Moving on! What the hell is up Shen?!?!?! I get the whole going through the ringer but MC has been through some trails and tribulations herself. I don’t see her acting clutched…*thinks*—Let me rephrase that. I don’t see MC acting all that clutched all the time! Obviously, she get her secrets and pains. I’m starting to lowkey think if MC is an addict.🤔 Also, did MC get caught?!😱

Next up! Love, Sin, & Evil!

*sniffles*🥲 Guys, so much went down in just two chapters. It’s honestly a lot to process…🥳But, let’s break it down, shall we?

Okay, so during this read MC is literally dancing with darkness…LITERALLY! And let’s not forget about MCs boyfriend. (I don’t know who y’all chose but I chose Tony…like one does😤) And in the mist of chaos, MC lost him just like that! Just to save her. 😢I honestly blame my choices. But I’m coming up with some major speculations here. Hear me out: The shadow, phantom—or whatever you want to call it—referred to MCs boyfriend as a “third wheel,” indicating that it would get rid of him.🤔🤔 Now, you see, you don’t go getting rid of someone without an agenda. The Phantom doesn’t look like it wants to get rid of MC just the people around her. The Phantom wants MC but why? I also peeked that it called MC a “Van Helsing,”—mind you, you don’t go dropping that name around if you ain’t dealing with some real dark evil shit. Maybe MC carries this bloodline—the blood of a Van Helsing. In my pervious post I mentioned that it could have something to do with MCs heritage/bloodline. And looking here, the Phantom is dropping the Van Helsing bomb. But back to the main speculation: What could the Phantom possibly want with the MC?—it’s like the Phantom in some shape or form is becoming a LI—a dark one at that. Maybe, there is a dark love story or some prophecy that has to be fore filled or get backed to?🤔 There is definitely some spooky shit going on. And MC lost two people already equaling two candles being blown out. Obvi, I’m still piecing together the love, sin, and evil I’m sensing so far to the story. And this is what I got: The Love, is the romance between a Van Helsing and a dark being. The Sin, is the betrayal of both Van Helsing and dark being. The Evil, could be the cause and effect of the love and sin that were committed in the past, birthing something new and sinister. And let’s be real, Jonny is smart as hell because right now Mister-all-so-kind-professor isn’t looking all that kind. I’m starting to feel he’s behind it. Trying to unlock or free something. And he needs MC for that maybe?🤔 Or…his career was shit and he really need the win to prove that he can do better?😅 Either way, professor explorer is turning into professor WTF!

I’m all for the adventure but whose going to tell the princess that she’s part of the LGBTQ+ community? 👀 Someone’s gotta do it.

Don’t get me wrong I only started watching F1 at the end of 2020, and 2021 fully made me watch and the passion Max would drive that Redbull I can honestly see why my brother is a big fan of Max, I got the subscription of F1 Tv to watch back on past races (being from England and watching Sky 🫠) I watched Max’s first win in Spain and they way he kept Kimi behind him, no one can take away Max’s accomplishments, I see comments like FIA in Jos pockets and I’m like huh 🫠 really 😂, it’s time for the Youngsters to shine now it’s a new era of racers.

Out of the Sky commentators I really like Jenson he’s never bias he will call out Lewis and Max and give detailed discussions why, Naomi sometimes I’m like yessss and others I’m like really (the Max, George Baku debate), Martin I’m so/so with him I seen past races when he’s like I’m a big fan of Max.

As a journalist/Commentator you have to be neutral over everything even if you like that person.

The reason why I came with the receipts is because we all know people would bash me and say that I’m lying (google is there for a reason).

Yuki may be my favourite driver but I will cheer Max on and honestly the Max fans I’ve seen on here are so respectful, and the way they defend him and the F1 drivers, the Lewis fans on here well I’ve only seen a very fair few that like Max.

The bullying and abuse Max gets is horrible and wrong, the racist abuse Lewis gets is horrible both should never get that and I look at these people on Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr and I’m like why would you do this you cyber bully someone how would you like it if someone you know, your kid, your sibling got cyber bullied or if in the future they get called by their kids school saying that their kid is cyber bullying people and their kid turns round saying you did it honestly i do not get people.

Yes the drivers say things that makes you question them, yes you may dislike a driver that’s fine but why abuse them on social media, when I saw them fans in Miami flipping Max off and telling him to Fu*k Off I’m like you’ve spent £1,000+ on tickets just to do that wtf.

I will fully defend Max no matter what he’s done nothing but put his life into racing.

I would absolutely love for Max to win Brazil and Sliverstone and Mexico this year just to spite all the Lewis British and Brazilian fans and even the toxic Checo fans.

Kinda wish this year I was sitting with all the Max fans at Sliverstone.

F1tv has honestly been a blessing. I’ve watched the full seasons since 2015 when Max joined and even in 2015 he was genuinely a joy to watch, annoying the living life out of everyone (except Nando) for being 17. People comment sometimes saying he’s a paid driver but when you do a deep dive into his stats as a child I mean Jesus they are so so impressive and also no amount of pull could get a 17 year old into a car if he wasn’t insanely talented. Which Max is.

I fully don’t like any of the commentators except Jenson. They have chatted so much shit since Baku and the start of the season. Constantly acting like Max is ruining the sport, is a spoilt child when he’s just Max. They choose to be ignorant of who he is, the way he is and the talent he is because he’s not British and it’s a shame. I swear the amount of times I’ve seen them trying to say George would match Max is literally criminal.

Honestly I’ve really strong opinions on the hate Max gets and how it’s seen as basically okay. It’s been that way since 2021 when Merc and lh would send their fans to abuse Max but give out about the booing or cheers in 2022 when they sat by and said nothing about their fans week in week out wishing death on Max, his gf, his mother, his sister and her two little boys. The hate Max gets is according to some “deserved” all because he destroyed Merc in 2021. He out drove Lewis in 70% of the time when Merc didn’t take him out. I think the abuse not being called out is fucking vile and that’s why I constantly call it out.

Hiiii twitter refugees. tumblr culture can be... hard to understand sometimes. so! a primer.

first of all, you have to understand: viva la cringe around here. the only genuinely cringy things here are talking shit about someones harmless, genuine enjoyment of something, and brand accounts.

On that note: DO NOT ENGAGE WITH BRAND ACCOUNTS. Brand managers are given much more leeway to be funny and weird on here since it is viewed as a non-marketable site in many ways. Keep it that way. Do not dunk, do not "wtf??" - all engagement on this site is user driven, not the algorithm, so do not give them any attention.

And with that: The Algorithm. many people say tumblr doesnt have one, which is mostly true. there is an algorithm on the "For you" tab, which most tumblr users almost never use. The average and intended tumblr experience is one of direct networking. You follow someone to see what they post and reblog, and they will follow you back for the same. a healthy tumblr blog is one with lots of reblogged posts around their interests!

Which means that if someone sees your empty blog... not only will they never follow it, they might block you because they think you're a bot. just reblog stuff, it takes half a second - on mobile you can press and hold the reblog button and swipe up if you dont want to add any tags. Reblogging is the primary form of engagement here! likes do NOTHING.

On the note of tags: you do not need to make a robust tagging system for your posts. You may, if you want, and especially if you are a creative of any kind you should be tagging your posts with relevant tags where people might find it to share. Mostly, though, tags are for making comments on things which you want your mutuals to see, but which a future person wouldnt want to reblog as an addition. - so, funny joke which adds to the vibe of the post? good! make that a comment on your reblog. but a "I love this!" or an inside joke with your mutuals should go in the tags.

I'm having some Thoughts(tm) on engagement and consumption on here today

I really cannot jive with people who criticize those who dislike like-spamming and those who complain about likes vs. reblogs and engagement problems. Like-spamming not only

Gets in the way of other notifs, so you have to filter by type (just annoying), and I don’t even know if people with old devices that can’t update even have the option TO filter on their app’s version

Does nothing for OP as likes only inflate numbers uselessly and keep a post on hand for YOU in your likes. This isn't Twitter or Instagram. They are that useless here.

WILL have people think you're a bot if everything about your account looks default and reblogged nothing or only post links to another site/an app, and you'll get blocked by everyone

But on top of that, it's usually being done by people who never, ever give us any actual feedback or engagement and just disappear into the ether after liking 2 years worth of posts. I don't know wtf you want to see more of, you didn't reblog or reply on favorites. I just know you came in here, spammed a tag or my most recent posts, then left.

And I have the fortune of having a moderate following on here from before passive consumers and that mindset moseyed in from other social media with those functions in mind and expect an algorithm to do the job for them that made it even harder for newer, smaller people to get a foothold and feedback.

 Bigger accounts are impacted by this, too, so can you imagine if that’s the ONLY notifs you ever get as a new artist or similar on here? A younger artist maybe? It would feel demoralizing, like nobody thinks your art is worth sharing to others, and a lot of people have spoken about how low meaningful engagement and nobody actually reblogging their posts drove them to post something less or stop completely on posts discussing this issue.

Of course, you shouldn’t hinge if you do or don’t draw/write/make GIFs/etc. on social feedback exclusively, it’s a passion after all. A focus exclusively on numbers is unhealthy and clout chasing is a problem in this day and age. But people create as a means of communication and socialization. It’s completely normal to want people to see your message, respond to your message, and is very much human to want validation and not a hollow, thoughtless acknowledgement only (especially all-encompassing spam-liking that feels almost robotic) can certainly come across as.

Wanting attention and validation is human, and ffs people complaining about low engagement and wanting more reblogs vs likes isn’t guilt tripping by nature unless someone actually starts guilt tripping like those stupid additions to posts about a social issue that makes people decidedly not reblog it.  They are just telling it as it is, and they are telling you what to do if you want them to keep posting here most likely.

It’s not greedy, people put in hours and days and months and even years into this shit and want it to be acknowledged and people are not using this site as intended and they are frustrated--that is completely natural. People are frustrated that passively viewing and moving on silently in this era of social media has become a norm and they are frustrated, that does not make them greedy, unappreciative, or guilt-trippy in itself. Tumblr is a POST SHARING SITE. YOU SHARE POSTS ON HERE. SO SHARE THEM.

I can confidently say that anyone will value one reblog with feedback (even if it is just emphatic keyboard smashing lol) than 50 likes in a row on something they made by someone they will never have any level of conversation or further interaction with. Liking, and mass-liking, tells us nothing except you're there. it's about as useful as lurking. We LOVE to read tags, in fact I go back all the time to read them, and they tell me about what specific topics, art styles, and so on people like and want to see more of. 

Stop passively consuming content, start engaging with it. Otherwise, you don’t get to wonder why someone stopped one day and moved to another site or some such where they actually get feedback and people responding in meaningful ways. People whine about people moving to Twitter as their main social media all the time, but guess what people get over there way more than here nowadays unless you’re an absolutely massive account here? Active engagement by their followers and peers.

Apparently B&B were contacted by Netflix and they turned down a deal with them, and I don’t know what it consisted of but for once I actually side with Netflix.

Like as someone who writes fan fiction if someone took my idea for example and plagiarized it I wouldn’t be happy, not to mention if they gained something from it like followers or whatever.

And so when I see someone like Julia Quinn who is the one truly loosing out on the right to HER property I completely can’t stand it. Like I know for a fact unless a series gets super duper popular you don’t make as much money it costs to make (like really the effort it takes is priceless) and I doubt if shonda ever read it it would have ever become popular or made into a series as huge as this. Like the cost to make a book is so expensive overtime and now for someone to disregard and disrespect her creative right plus the time on top of her blood sweat and tears? I just don’t get how you can stomp like that all over a fellow creative person like that.

I watched them make this musical from the beginning and I just don’t get why they’re doing this? It’s basically on my end just themselves thinking they’re entitled.

Here's the thing about licenses, we don't know how much of the proceeds Netflix requested during the offer. That might have led to B&B turning it down. I mean it's still a jerk move but we can only speculate.

but let's use the license deal for Ariana Grande's '7 rings' song as an example and note, I'm only bring Ariana Grande into this because its a well known case. We all know 7 rings copies the melody of beloved the sound of music classic 'my favorite things'

90% of '7 rings' goes to the original creators of My favorite things, you know how much money that is for Ariana Grande? That's a lot of money. Considering 7 rings is very popular and played around the world. (Does it make me happy? Yes, because I support Rogers and Hammerstein more than I support Ariana Grande). One would think that when Concord said give us 90%, Republic could have said wtf no. But the song was ready to be commercialized, not taking the deal when they had everything prepared for the January release, would have been bad....

Like not taking a licensing deal from Netflix when you're already booked for a paid live performance in the Kennedy Center.

Now, I'm not privy to Netflix legal coming and goings, but considering that Barlow and Bear use Netflix property verbatim, which is a form of plagiarism unless you have the license. I'm thinking their deal was probably close to what Ariana Grande's label had to sign over to Rodgers and Hammerstein. Maybe not a 90% of royalties, but I'm speculating probably a 70 or an 80.

And even in this fictional case THEY SHOULD HAVE TAKEN THE DEAL. Again, using my previous example, even if the royalties of '7 rings' goes mostly to someone else, Ariana Grande's label knows that in the long run, it's her name and her music that's going to be associated with the song. Which brings them more revenue for the artist entire album and other original songs.

In the long run, Barlow and Bear would have seen their name attached to music that was wildly popular and got renewed interest with every new Bridgerton season. Their original work would have gotten traction and they could have become a bigger name in the music industry rather than just 'the Bridgerton music girls'

B&B are adults who are smart enough to work on the deals they got that led them to a Grammy.

In my opinion doing things in tiktok, Tumblr or Instagram is fine as long as you're not getting paid to do content having to do with someone else's work, at least not directly.

Things like YouTube ad revenue and donations revenue happen under the assumption that while you may be talking about other people's work in your content creation (which is in escence, a way of promoting what you love and honoring the original creator by giving them the credit so they hopefully feel prompted to produce even more), you're neither stealing it or claiming you have permission to use it as if it were yours.

I know that licensing Bridgerton The musical would have cost them revenue, but without licensing it, they risked not having revenue at all by inviting a lawsuit.

And I hope they settle this outside of court in order not to damage the teneous compromise of peace that Original creators have with fanworks inspired by their work.
